[00:15] Tok Shop. My name is Ryan Maya. I actually own two e-commerce brands, a brand called Beyond Braid and a brand called Professor Pickle Ball. Beyond called Professor Pickle Ball. Beyond Braid is the number one fishing company
[00:27] fishing company on Tik Tok shop and Professor Pickleball is the number one shop. So everything you learn in this video is coming from a verified source. I was one of the first people to start Tik Tok shop over a year ago and we've
[00:42] now done seven figures on Tik Tok shop and it's grown both my businesses in this video is how to set up your Tik Tok shop store, how to integrate it with other platforms like Shopify or Amazon if you need to or just sell directly on
[00:55] Tik Tok shop. how to create videos that best sell on Tik Tok shop, what are the best ways to make money on Tik Tok shop, and how the whole entire platform works. So, this whole video is one big tutorial on how to get started with Tik Tok and
[01:07] how to make money with it. So, how Tik Tok shop works is here is my company Beyond Braids page. And you can see we have 130,000 followers and this little tab right here is our shop tab. You can see all of the products we sell on all
[01:20] of our other platforms we sell on Tik Tok Shop. Now how to actually make sales from Tik Tok shop can happen in just two ways. You can come over and create a I made the mistake of using traditional monofilament fishing line and switch to
[01:33] braided. So that is a video uh me promoting my fishing line. And then what you do is you can essentially tag your product and then when someone sees this video on their feed they can then go select what
[01:45] options they want and buy it right now. You see this buy it now button they it clicks. That is the whole purpose of Tik Tok shop is to mitigate the friction and mitigate all the steps uh that normally comes with buying something. So
[02:00] typically when you see something on other social media platforms you have to go click the link in the bio or go off to Amazon or wherever it is to buy that product. With Tik Tok shop you can literally see the product in the video
[02:13] in two clicks you purchase it. Like I'm buying things on Tik Tok shop myself that and literally within two clicks my address is saved, my Apple Pay is saved and boom, the orders on the way. So it's a very easy place to sell your products
[02:27] and start building brand awareness and like I said just get more products sold on Tik Tok shop a lot easier and quicker. So this is just a quick screen share of Beyond Braids backend. This is Tik Tok shop seller center. In order to
[02:40] get started with your Tik Tok shop, you can click the link in the description to to the Tik Tok seller center signup page, which we'll go through in a links are in the description down below. So, here you have your backend. It looks
[02:54] just like any other e-commerce platform. Um, we have your orders tab, you have marketing tab where you can run ads, affiliate growth, etc., etc. Your analytics. So, you have all of your data
[03:07] right here in Tik Tok shop. You can see in the last 7 days on Beyond Braid, we've done $20,000 and we're in the back half of our season. Now, we're going to do a tutorial on how to actually sign up for Tik Tok Shop and start your business
[03:19] on Tik Tok Shop. So, in the link in description, you'll uh go to this page Tok Shop. So, let's go through it. I'm actually going to create a whole new on Tik Tok shop. So, we'll do it together live. You'll enter in your
[03:32] verification code that went to your email and then just place in the code. All right. Pretty straightforward. So, next it's going to ask you what type of uh business are you running? Whether you have an LLC or not. You can still select
[03:45] one of these options that best choose you. So, for me, I have an LLC, which is I'm going to select. And you can see once you select one of these things, it tells you exactly what verification documents you need to get started on Tik
[03:58] Tok shop. So, as a sole proprietor, you need a legal business name, an EIN sign up for an LLC. And again, you can have just an individual account that license, a legal name, and a social security number." So again, I have an
[04:12] Once I select that, you click next. And this is the name of my dummy Holdings account, Ryan Maya Holdings LLC. So then primary business address. I just use my home address where my LLC's are
[04:26] blurred out. And I'll click next. So now it's going to ask you for verification. Just upload your US driver's license or your passport. I have a driver's driver's license, you're going to then put in all of your primary uh business
[04:41] information, like your legal name, birthday, address, and social security blocked out cuz I don't want you to take my identity, but then click next once name your shop. You can name this your business name or whatever you want to
[04:53] obviously name it your business name. Like Beyond Braid, I would name this separate business where I'm going to try different products, so I'm just going to name it whatever. Once you've named your shop, you're going to choose a primary
[05:05] product. Um, this kind of just helps uh Tik Tok shop categories what you want to sell. So, they have uh home improvement, sports and outdoors. If you don't know, you're going to do, like sports and outdoors or tools, home and furniture,
[05:17] gadgets, etc. And then you need a phone number to sign up and then submit. So, your seller center account. You're just going to follow the rest of the steps. But you can see that's the biggest huddle to get started with Tik Tok shop
[05:30] the link is in the description to do this exact process. You can then click information page just make sure everything looks correct and then just of the screen and then click submit. Once you add your tax information you go
[05:45] to this next tab that says get ready to sell and then you set up shipping. regions you want to ship to. You can see I want to ship to all of the United States. And then I clicked my normal address as my um uh return address. And
[05:59] shipping options, there's actually two type of shipping options. You could do actually provide you the shipping labels and you can print them or you could select seller shipping if you have a 3PL or you decide to ship them and pay for
[06:12] everything yourself. Next, you're going to add your products. And here there's a few options. You can upload them manually. So, if you, let's say, sell iPhone cases, you can create all of your listings manually on Tik Tok shop, or
[06:24] store, like your Amazon store, Shopify store. That's what I do for my other two brands is we use um Shopify and then bring all of our products over to Tik bring all of our products over to Tik Tok shop using uh either SKIQ or Silk
[06:38] Commerce. Those are two connectors that you can use. Um, or you can use other these two other options. But but I suggest either uploading them manually separate selling on Tik Tok shop, do that. But if you already have an
[06:51] integrated system with either Amazon or Shopify, then just sync with your online store. You can see it says Amazon, Shopify, Big Commerce, uh, Magento, all now cuz it's a very straightforward process. You just got to get your uh,
[07:04] connectors to do it. If you don't want to use a connector, uh, Tik Tok shop haven't used that yet because when I started way back when on Tik Tok shop, they didn't have that option. So, I can't tell you. But here, SKIQ, which is
[07:17] um what I've used, they're okay. Silk Commerce is what I'm using now. They're good as well. So, any of these will work. For this sake, I'm just going to click add a product manually and then show you kind of um just a brief setup,
[07:29] right? Let's just add an image of the product. Super cool flashlight that glows in the dark. I don't know, some uh computers and office equipment, want to get these categories right. That way, your products actually go to the
[07:44] correct place. So, this would be an electronic. It would be um I don't know, uh a phone accessory and a case and a screen protectors. Continue.
[07:56] Brand. Uh you're not going to have a brand. Uh if or you can add your brand out a listing like you'd build on Shopify, Amazon. So, this is very straightforward. We added an image. We'll select a brand. Again, you can add
[08:10] your own brand by clicking add brand or choose no brand. And then you just put this to bypass. Again, this is very straightforward once you get your product in here. So, you could actually add videos to your uh listing as well.
[08:24] Um, you can add a price and then you can add your UPC code if you have it, your quantity. I have 10 in stock. And then a seller uh skew flashlight, right? Uh, prop compliance. No, no. Shipping. This is where you add the weight of your
[08:38] product. 0.1 pounds. Product dimensions 4x4 by one. This is all stuff that you want to sell. So, this is all generic, just information. Once you've entered in
[08:50] everything, just click submit for review and then click submit. All right. Finish. Uh, so you've added a product. And the last step would be to connect your shop's Tik Tok shop account. So, like I showed you earlier, our Beyond
[09:02] connected to our account. I'm going to create a Ryan's deal page for this Tik Tok shop account. Once your orders start to come in, they will come in in this area. And then here you have manage returns, fulfillment options, um all
[09:15] returns, fulfillment options, um all these um kind of order related options. where you can manage all your products, right? It's suspended. It's in review. It typically it'll it'll be a quick uh review. New stores, they typically
[09:28] get up and running, it's a very simple pro uh platform to to navigate. Since not much information. I'm going to bring you back over to my Beyond Braid account to show you some of the features, right? So, our orders tab, you can see all of
[09:41] your orders are going to get populated here. It tells you the order number, who the buyer is, and what products they ordered. Uh, it tells you what you need pending, completed, cancelled. Now, something super unique about Tik Tok
[09:55] Shop that no other platform offers is the affiliate center. People can essentially buy your products or you can send them free samples of your products and they will create the videos for you on Tik Tok shop. They will post it and
[10:07] you'll make the sale. So there's a few ways to do that. You have your open collaboration where basically what you do is you take your products. All of these are in our open collaborations. And essentially what we do here, let's
[10:22] take an option here. You have uh the product listed. Here's the quantity. You set a commission rate and then this shows what the potential creators can make. And basically, right, let's say someone sells this one to to make math
[10:37] make they buy the product or we send it to them for 39 bucks. They say, "Hey, check out this fishing line. It's awesome." They sell one, Tik Tok will then pay them $11.99 from that order and then you get the balance. So, they get
[10:50] the 30% commission and it all works out for all platforms. You make the sale, Tok shop handles everything, and you don't even have to make a video. So, that's part of the open collaboration. Now, if you want to work with specific
[11:04] creators, you can create a target collaboration. And um you can see we send out to people and that you can set a higher commission amount to incentivize them to make uh more videos for you. So, if you want to set someone
[11:17] with a 30% commission to make sure they really make the videos, then go ahead and do that. Typically, we're setting 10% on our open collab and 30% on our targeted collab. So, take those metrics down. There's then a find a creators tab
[11:30] creators and see all the data. So, you can see Birdie and Mac, they've done in sales from their account. They've sold 3,000 items and get about 800 uh
[11:42] views per video. So, what you could do is you can click invite and ask them to sell your products. And there's many look see this is actually my personal Tik Tok shop account where I sell some stuff like I sell our own Beyond Braid
[11:54] stuff. This video has 1.6 million views and Tik Tok automatically splits the commission. I get paid and the rest goes to my business. So this is where you names, hashtags, and keywords. Let's say I want to sell my fishing products.
[12:08] creators that we can then invite to work targeted collab. So if you sell beauty products, you could do the same thing do the same thing here. Another unique feature about the affiliate program is
[12:21] sample requests. So, you can set samples for your products. And you can see all of these creators are requesting free products. You are giving a lot of free product away, but at the end of the day, it's worth it if you can get them to
[12:33] convert and make sales. What's a unique uh attribute here? It tells you who they are, tells you their follower count, um how much they post. So, if they have a want to do that. That means they're getting sent product and making only
[12:45] half the videos. Someone like this makes 80% of the vid uh 80% of the videos that good metric. We look for 80% and above and you could see their sales volume. So this guy's generated 4,000 bucks. Awesome. This guy 100 bucks. Nothing
[13:00] really uh special here. So probably wouldn't send it to him. So like see this guy 2,000 bucks. This guy 3,000 bucks. These are all great candidates. The homes 20,000 bucks. They've generated 33,000 followers. We're
[13:12] what's cool about the sample request. It then shows you which products were shipped and then it shows you which content is t is pending. So all of this here um will tell you hey look these people have created the content for you
[13:26] and you can come here and see all of the videos they made. So Tik Tok shop has made this process of getting UGC user generated content super super easy and straightforward. So that's the basics of getting your store set up using the
[13:38] product center using the affiliate center to make content for you. But if you really want to blow this business up, you have to hop in front of a camera I'm going to do next is show you the type of videos we make and all the
[13:51] methods um that you can use to list your products yourself as a brand, not depend from Tik Tok shop for your products. So, performing videos that we've done. All right, so the first way to make money uh
[14:07] with your products is shoppable videos. It's kind of like what I showed you earlier, but I'm going to just rerun you through the process and how to do it. filmed and are all Tik Tok shoppable posts, but what I'll do live for you is
[14:20] with you so you can see the whole process. So, ready? I'm going to do this live. This is the Beyond Braid Blue Wave braid. It's a uh blue, white, and black braided line that disappears into clear

[14:49] needed. And then what you do, you uh write a description if you want. I just have a set a preset of hashtags that I use. And then you click this button right here, add link, add product, and then all of our fishing line is on this
[15:02] product. You can retitle it if you want. I like that name. And then you simply click post. And it's literally as simple as that. You now created a shoppable post that can go out to the world. You see it has the link. And when people see
[15:15] this, they will buy your product. It's as simple as that. Funny enough, look at this video. This is someone literally an affiliate, Fabio Fishing Life, has 100,000 followers using our Miami Vi braid. And you can see it's right there.
[15:28] Looks absolutely amazing. And we just got user generated content. What we like to do here is just repost that. The second way to make money with actually go live and do live. You would do is you click the little uh create uh
[15:41] template and then here is where you would go live. So this is the go live would go live. So this is the go live category. Um what you can do is name it like hey we're having a flash sale. So we'll do this live with you. We'll go
[15:54] we'll do this live with you. We'll go live. live. But essentially what you would do here is you can pin this product in your live and then sell the product and they could buy it directly off your live. So
[16:08] live is very popular in Asia. For the United States it hasn't quite caught on yet. We're working on it but it is a very very popular way to sell products. on the screen during the live. You can inform people about your products,
[16:22] customers directly because they can comment and you can answer the questions real time. So, if you have the time, live is a really, really good way to actually make sales. Like sometimes when I'm just working, doing inventory, or
[16:34] business, I'll go live, answer some questions at the same time. People will same time because I have the product pinned and it's all there. The third way to get your product sold on Tik Tok shop is the actual shop tab. So, you can see
[16:47] you have stem following and then shop. Here is the shop tab. You could see our beyond braid is in that deals tab. You can create a deal on seller center like a flash sale and it could go into that deal tab. But essentially this is where
[17:01] you're going to feature your product if people want to search right braided line. Let's see who comes up first. Obviously beyond braid because we are the biggest uh fishing line brand on Tik Tok shop. You can see 13,000 units sold
[17:15] compared to our competitor reaction tackle 194 and Hlerur whatever, right? You can see we're clearly dominating the marketplace. So once you list your product in the shop tab, you can then run ads, shop ads to get your product uh
[17:29] unique, right, you click on this and it shows you videos of the product. This is it's still being shown all the time. So it's really, really cool. If you ask me, hey Ryan, what is the winning formula for selling on Tik Tok shop and actually
[17:45] making the most money between creating videos yourself or using the affiliates? You got to do both. If you are a um confident creator in making uh videos Facebook or Instagram ads or anywhere else you're making ads, Tik Tok shop is
[17:59] going to be your best friend. Our business has grown tremendously because of Tik Tok shop. You get a lot more eyeballs. So people go to your website, they're not buying on Tik Tok shop, but a lot of people are starting to buy on
[18:12] Tik Tok shop and the platform is growing exponentially. It's still very early. So, you have a chance to get on there um and hop on there very quickly and grow your brand. Like I said, we're number one in the fishing category and the
[18:25] pickle ball category. Like, I can maybe start a microphone business and be the lot of videos. But the winning formula is making a lot of videos yourself, try with one post a day. What I do is I'll make some drafts. I'll sit here for an
[18:39] saw in my drafts and post one a day and tag the product. That's one. Number two, definitely use the affiliate center. Give away as much product as you can in a smart way. Give them to good creators, not BS creators. So, you're actually
[18:53] having a good chance of making those creators have winning videos for you that actually sell. And then what you can do is take those videos, you ask little code they will give you. So, you have permission to run ads. So then you
[19:06] can run ads to your videos, you can run ads to their videos, and then that's how you make good content, you get good affiliate content, you run ads behind that stuff, and then get more views to your shoppable posts to then make more
