Your profit is the difference between your selling price and Printify's fulfillment cost. Use Printify's profit calculator to set competitive prices and ensure profitability.
Publish your product to Shopify and review it. Add multiple products using the same design on different items to expand your catalog and increase sales opportunities.
Implement SEO by using relevant keywords in titles, descriptions, and alt text to attract free traffic from search engines like Google. Use tools like E-rank or Everbe for keyword research.

16:48[00:01] how to start a print on demand store that's set up correctly and profitable in just a few hours. I know that sometimes when we want to start something new, it can seem like a lot. There's a lot of different tutorials out
[00:14] there and we don't exactly know where to start and we can start out and then just not want to continue the process if we get overwhelmed. So, I wanted to make a video sharing exactly the step-by-step process and how to do it fast in a
[00:28] tutorial that you'll be able to watch to the end and understand what's going on. understand how to set up your print on demand store and do it correctly so that you don't miss out on any time or money during your setup process. [music]
[00:42] So, print on demand is an incredible business model for beginners because it's not going to require you to put a lot of money upfront for inventory or shipping, and you do not have to hold or create any products yourself. This works
[00:55] because you can partner up with a print ondemand supplier like Printify that has white label products that you can design and customize yourself, list them on your online store, and once you get an order to your online store, Printify
[01:08] will handle printing out that item, shipping it directly to your customer, they have the product that they ordered from your online store, but you never had to actually physically create the product yourself. This is incredible
[01:21] because you'll keep the profit in between and you can scale this online business, like I said, with very little startup cost. And to be totally too good to be true. This is a business model that's going to require you to put
[01:33] in work. You are going to have to design and list products and manage your online store, but a lot of it can work passively if you set it up correctly. risk. So, to start out, you'll have to create your online store so that you can
[01:46] connect your Printify account and start listing products. A great option is Shopify because you can have your own standalone website and you can create it different policies yourself and then list your products for sale on your
[01:59] of Shopify before because it is a website host platform. If you do not have an account yet, I will leave a best current deal that is available right has a really great deal right now that is a 3-day free trial and then for your
[02:15] first 3 months after that, it is only $1. This means that you can start and set up your Shopify store for as little as $3 for your first three months, which bringing in profits before you actually have to even pay for your Shopify
[02:28] membership. It's an incredible deal, and I will have the link directly in the get that offer. Setting up your Shopify store is very easy. All you'll have to sure that you've used one that you'll be checking and then you'll have to answer
[02:42] a few simple questions and then you can go right into your store setup and account settings. Once you're in the Shopify dashboard, on the left side is things in Shopify. You can see your customers, the products that you have
[02:55] for sale, your settings tab, and keep track of everything going on in your store. also where you'll be able to find your online store customization where you can choose a theme and start listing your products. When you click online
[03:07] store and then select themes, you'll be able to choose your theme here. And themes to [music] choose from. You can try out any of the themes and once you have one that you like. All you'll have to do is hit publish theme and then you
[03:19] This is where you can add in your logo. You can change the colors of your actual going to be controlling the bones of what your store looks like. So, this is with and be able to move around and understand how it works. It's very
[03:35] and drop system. So, I highly recommend playing around with this, but don't get part is going to be listing our products for sale. On the lefth hand side as well is where you'll be able to access your settings. So, your settings is where
[03:49] of your payment method, your tax information, and your account settings. Shopify plan that you have. So, you can a lot of sellers that are new definitely skip the step of setting up their
[04:03] important because let's say you take all the time to list these products on your understanding payments and how to accept them and how it exactly works. I'll leave an article below that explains exactly how print on demand payments
[04:17] work, especially with Printify, which is the supplier I recommend. Again, not about. It's just important to understand when you are setting up an online and you want it to make you money. And also seen in your settings is going to
[04:30] be where you can set up your shipping settings. It's also where you're going to see all your different policies in your online store. And these are all to talk about a little bit later on in the tutorial. So, make sure that you
[04:42] to set these up. Now, next, what we're going to do is create our Printify the print on demand supplier that is going to print and pack and ship our important step in print on demand because we wouldn't be able to sell the
[04:57] items without Printify. I do have a link for Printify below. It is free to sign up and it's a really cool website because you can create and list as many you're not going to have to pay for anything until you start getting orders.
[05:09] Printify account, it's very similar to when you set up your Shopify account. would recommend using the same one that you use to set up on your Shopify. And then you'll have to give your store name and just select a few questions about
[05:23] these questions don't really matter too much. It's just going through the setup do with their print on demand supplier. Now, on Printify, you're going to go to connect a new [music] store. You'll see a few different options here, but you're
[05:37] going to select Shopify. Now, you already have your Shopify store set up. connect with Printify, you're going to paste in your Shopify URL. To find your Shopify URL, you'll go to settings, click domains, and you can copy it from
[05:51] there and then paste it directly into Printify to sync your store. Then, once connected. So now, congratulations. Your create a product on Printify and hit publish, it is going to go directly on
[06:05] your Shopify store for sale and you can edit it further in Shopify. So now that going to start creating our products, we're going to talk about what I was settings so that once we start importing products, we can automatically publish
[06:18] them and our store can be live to start getting sales. To set up your Shopify payments, and on the right, you'll see a few different options. Shopify payments who's going to be selling in the same country that you're located. You can
[06:32] then follow through answering all the personal information questions. You can also set up additional payment methods if you're somebody that wants to offer your store. Now, I know that my viewers are from lots of different places all
[06:45] important to talk about when we're selling to customers that are international. So, it's totally up to you where you want to sell to and who to keep in mind that the more people that you're available to on the
[06:57] potentially get and make on your online store. Now, with that though, we do have to understand that there is different exchanges when it comes to selling to a different location. And so, that's really important to understand so that
[07:11] we're making money with print on demand. And to avoid this on Shopify, I go to additional payment methods and I search for Airwalks as one of my payment options. Airwalks will localize your checkout for people in multiple
[07:25] locations. So, if you get a lot of international orders on Shopify, this is money in different currencies. And something to note is when someone pays you in another currency, Shopify will usually convert that to your local
[07:38] currency right away and a lot of those conversion fees can add up. There's also trap, which can happen to sellers when their money gets converted more than once during a payout or a refund method, and then you'll end up paying both fees
[07:51] let you receive payouts in the customer's original currency instead of when you want to convert it, so you're avoiding the unnecessary fees. [music] Airwalks can give you multicurrency accounts to hold the money in and
[08:08] virtual cards and everything can stay a bit more organized when you're selling globally. It will give you more control over how you get paid and then when your money gets exchanged and this can save you a lot when you start getting
[08:20] can see here that there are many different payment options that are available including 160 plus local payment methods like Apple Pay, Google Pay, Cla and more. And even with some advanced plans with Shopify, you must
[08:32] use Shopify payment for card payment, but you can still use Airwalks for non-card local payment to save on FX fees and to boost your sale conversion. And you can add this to your Shopify payment options really easily. It'll
[08:44] do is search for more options, type in account. If you're interested in this, or you're somebody that sells internationally, or you want to start selling internationally, I highly
[08:56] recommend checking this out. I will have a link below for you in the description yourself. Another step that's really important as your payments is also your online store. Shopify already has some ready templates for things like
[09:10] your refund and your private policies. So, these are important to keep in mind. and actually adding in your own information. A great hack that I like to use is copying the template that Shopify gives me, pasting it into chat GBT and
[09:25] store so that it can recreate it for me and I can paste it back in knowing that it's tailored to my actual online business. I will leave a link below for the refund and return policies on Printify, what is covered and what's
[09:38] these policies before setting one up for be a lot, but it's definitely worth it to have everything in line so you can profitable business. [music] On your Printify catalog, you will see that
[09:51] products for you to offer on your online store. They have everything from home decor like different wall art, blankets, candles, pillows. They also have different apparel like sweatshirts, t-shirts, and hoodies, pet products like
[10:05] pet bowls, mats, collars, and so much more. So, I highly recommend checking out the catalog and getting an idea for who and what you want to sell. Now, with something that I think is going to make you go really far is having a niche or
[10:21] an idea of who you want to sell to. A niche can be essentially a topic or interest that you know about and that you want to sell to people who also know you have an idea of the product that you want to sell, all you'll have to do is
[10:34] select that product on Printify and hit start designing. Now, there is a few different options for a print supplier. Even though you're using Printify, I like to choose Printify Choice because this is going to find the best option at
[10:46] the best price for me to actually sell my products and the supplier to get to my customers the fastest. So, once you do this, just hit start designing and then you'll see a page that's going to offer you a lot of different things. On
[10:59] called your design dimensions, which means this is the size for the design for your actual product. You can use those exact design dimensions to then you upload it, you know that it's going to be a highquality design. I like to
[11:12] use KD to create all of my designs for my print on demand products. I use them because they have a lot of different templates and a really great AI system to create designs. You can choose from a lot of different templates regarding the
[11:25] you want to sell a mug, you can go in and use different mug design templates, and then you can edit them on your [music] own, changing in the text, adding different elements or photos, and all the elements that you find in KD,
[11:39] demand products as long as they're a part of a design. You can also use their feature called KD flows, which creates really cool different AI designs. I because it's something that has really changed the game for me and helps me to
[11:54] tutorial that I have showing exactly how can watch that next on how to actually design for your print on demand products on your Printify account. You can then upload the design that you created and
[12:07] product and you'll be able to see what it looks like. Once you have your design on your product, you can also select different variations that may be see that all of your preview options are great, you can hit save product and
[12:21] continue on with the process of listing your product on your online store. On you'll be able to choose the mockups that are going to show your products in pictures that your customers will be able to browse through when they're
[12:33] about to purchase your item. So, choose the ones that fit, and I'll show you how later on in the video. This is where you'll put your title and description Printify has had some really great
[12:46] with AI. [music] It'll give you an AI title based off of your design, and you can also use the AI tool to improve the listing if you want to add specific specs. Printify will create a description for you that has a
[12:59] available. It will give the specs for the specific product like care instructions or how to wash the product if it's something that does need washing and all of that. So, make sure that you keep anything that's relevant and delete
[13:11] with payment processing, I want to go over exactly how it works again with you. So, when you do list your print on demand products for sale on your online Printifyy's price to print and [music] ship it. So, for example, if your item
[13:25] on your store when you're going to list it shows in that pricing section that it cost $15 [music] for Printify to pack and ship it, you need to charge more than $15 so that when your customer pays you, you still make a profit. Your
[13:41] you will pay the print supplier to fulfill the order. The money in between is what is your profit. Printify has a really great profit calculator that will the product that you're offering based on market demand, but it will also show
[13:55] you how much profit you're making and include that with free shipping or if shipping. So, make sure that you're profitable and that your prices make to be your shipping profile. And what's really great about Printify is it will
[14:09] you, which is going to save you a lot of time. So that will automatically send over to your Shopify store and set up shipping for you, which is incredible and shout out for that. So it's another step that you don't have to waste a ton
[14:22] of time on. Once all this is finished, you can then hit the publish button, which will publish your product directly to your Shopify store. In just a few minutes on Shopify under your products, you'll be able to select and see that
[14:36] your product is there and available for you to either publish immediately for sale or to edit further. I do recommend checking this out and making sure that it all looks good and then making sure that you add in multiple products in the
[14:48] same way that I just showed you. You can take the same design and put it on different products. Whether you have it on t-shirts and mugs and tote bags or so much more. Don't be mistaken for just using your design on one specific
[15:01] like I said, add it to other products. Here's also where you can add in like to use websites like playit.net net to get mockup photos that are a little bit more interesting or intriguing for a specific product that I'm selling. All
[15:15] you made and upload it the same way that you did to Printify onto a lot of different AI mockup images. You can then change the color, download them, and upload it directly to your listing. And this just gives a more alive feel to
[15:28] your online store and is more personable and actually customized to your down below if you have not signed up [music] to yet. So now, congratulations. You understand how to list a product onto your Shopify store. And then once
[15:41] you do this process over and over, it just becomes a lot simpler and you'll be would make it a goal for yourself and a challenge. So, I'm challenging you to online store the day that you set it up. This will really help you to get the
[15:55] momentum and it will get you excited to actually start selling. And it's a more lot of people will set up their store and not list a product at all, or they'll list one product and then take a few days and come back. Don't do that.
[16:08] Go ahead and list multiple products that you have a nice store that's live and you have products on your online store, theme and see how you could potentially make it look better. You can go in there
[16:21] branding, whether you get them from Placeit or just find them in the Shopify stock library. And then you can rearrange things on your online store get a feel of what it will look like when a customer does come to purchase.
[16:35] Now, let's talk about how you'll get customers to your actual Shopify store, and something that I don't want to leave you hanging with after telling you how helpful tutorial which I recommend watching after this. It will be in the
[16:48] strategies. But I want to mention a really important thing that is not to be skipped out on, which is your SEO. SEO stands for search engine optimization, customers from search engines like Google or Bing to come to your online
[17:03] store. With SEO, in lots of different places on your Shopify store, like in your title, description, and your alt text, you can add in different things about your online store that are relevant to what you're selling just to
[17:15] add an additional way of getting customers for free. SEO is definitely a that if you take the time to set it up, you're going to see customers come in important for your online store [music] long-term and will bring your customers
[17:30] Google search. When you click on a edit it, if you scroll down to the bottom, you'll be able to see your Google SEO and what it will look like to a potential customer if they see your
[17:43] search. So, if you're selling a Dashhound mug, you want to put different mug that you're selling so that if someone types in Dashhound mug into their Google search, you have a chance of showing up. A lot of people will
[17:57] about it into what a customer would search for. And if you want to do more research, I recommend different SEO tools like E-rank or Everbe where you can look up different search terms and see how popular they are for the item
[18:10] app store, there are a lot of different apps that you can add in to really make your Shopify store look professional. You can add in different apps that will ask customers to bundle your items. You can add in things for pop-ups to collect
[18:23] people's emails or you can add in different size chart options as well. This is part of why I love Shopify because it really is so customizable in of the apps that I really recommend grabbing in your app store is called
[18:37] Omnisend. Omnisend is an email marketing app that's going to simplify the process wondering, why would I need email marketing? Email marketing is a great strategy for [music] new sellers and new online stores because if you can collect
[18:50] someone's email address, you can target them time and time again and you know that they're interested in your product. This is really effective because sending an email to someone that you know wants your product or is interested in your
[19:03] product has a higher conversion than posting something online and it going in front of the wrong person that's not your target audience. Setting up a email list for your Shopify store even as a beginner is very simple. You can set up
[19:15] an account through Omnisend for free and all you'll have to do is create a popup option. A pop-up option can be done and automated in Omnisend and make it so that someone will enter in their email in exchange for an offer. You want to
[19:29] offer them something enticing like maybe a discount code or free shipping on your email address. Now, once they do this, you then have their email, which [music] if they did or didn't make a purchase.
[19:44] You can send follow-up emails. You can let them know when you have a sale going "Hey, I noticed you hadn't purchased from our online store. Your items are still in your cart, which is a simple abandonment cart option." All these
[19:57] account, and I highly recommend checking it out. They have different flow options, different automations that make this really easy for beginners and even for people who have used email marketing platforms before. I really love using
[20:10] options and this is my favorite. So, something I really want to share with you. This will help to convert your customers a lot more then when you do you know the people coming to your store have an interest in your product and
[20:23] something that you would like to try out, I will have a link in the description for you along with a code that they've given me in collaboration that's specifically for my YouTube subscribers. It's money with Mac30 and
[20:35] it will give you 30% off of your first 3 months using Omnisend. [music] products listed on your store, you have your payment situation set up, your policies in place, and different apps that are ready to customize your store.
[20:48] that you'll need to understand. So, if you've made it all the way to the end of this video, congratulations, and you are ready to start selling. Your next step to having your successful store will be setting up your marketing strategy
[21:00] [music] and using social media or different paid ads or using things like Pinterest, which there's a lot of free and paid options. Thank you so so much tutorials like this for people that want to start selling online. Everything is
