All are good; choice depends on budget and preference. X2 Super Strike's haptics are the most intriguing for the future.
The reviewer finds all four mice excellent but notes that the X2 Super Strike's customizable haptic clicks stand out as a potential game-changer, while the others offer reliable, proven performance.

10:44[00:00] If you've been looking for a new gaming mouse, you've definitely seen these options pop up. These are the four most popular pro mouses in all of gaming. And today I'm gonna be trying all of them. We have the Razer Viper V3 Pro, the Logitech Pro X2 Super Strike,
[00:14] the Razer Death Adder V4 Pro, and the Logitech Super Light V2. In the first one I really wanna try is definitely the most interesting of them all, the X2 Super Strike. This sells for $180, which is a pretty expensive price,
[00:27] but the features on it are kind of revolutionary in the mouse world. Most notably, this is the first ever gaming mouse with the haptic inductive trigger system more hits. So these mouse clicks basically function via haptics instead of an actual clicky switch inside the mouse.
[00:41] So even if I bring the mic really close, there's literally zero sound to clicking the mouse down. So they call this rapid trigger for a mouse. So it's supposed to make your mouse clicks faster and you can actually customize your mouse clicks with software, which I'll get into in a little bit.
[00:55] For the actual technical specs, it's of course wireless. It has a pretty standard mouse shape I'd say. It has two mouse buttons on this side, nothing on this side. The weight of the mouse is 61 grams, and the color palette is actually really cool
[01:07] on this, I really like this look. And some extras that Logitech includes in the box here is an extra mouse skate for this part that you can replace. Of course, you have the wireless receiver and a cable they send with it. And some extra grips here you can put on the mouse as well.
[01:19] Whoa, that's kind of weird. So now when the mouse is on and I'm clicking it, it actually is giving like tactile feedback. It feels like a regular mouse click, but when the mouse was off and I'm clicking it, it literally you can't feel anything.
[01:32] So just with the haptics, basically just with vibrations and stuff, they were able to fully recreate what a real mouse click feels like, but with no physical switches. And so with this hits, the haptic inductive trigger system.
[01:44] On my clicks, I can actually adjust the attuation point to rapid trigger and the feeling, the haptic feedback of the clicks. Okay, usually I don't get too into the technicalities, but this stuff is insane. Like this is basically registering how much force
[01:58] I'm clicking down with. And then I can turn the click feedback like basically the mouse click off or I can turn it up so it's super tactile clicky feedback. Like this is insane. How well they're able to replicate
[02:10] what a mouse click feels like with vibrations. It doesn't even make sense. So now with rapid trigger and all the settings adjusted. Oh my. Again, I'm not even a keyboard mouse player.
[02:41] Oh, no way I just want an unreal game on keyboard mouse. Yeah, this mouse actually might be magical, but it is $180. That leads us to this, the Razer Viper V3 Pro.
[02:54] This is actually the cheapest mouse in this video. Right now on Amazon, I think it's listed for $110. And that's obviously because the Viper V4 Pro is now out but that's $50 more expensive than this. So at $110, it kind of makes this even more interesting.
[03:08] This is also wireless with an 8,000 hertz polling rate, but basically like all gaming mice have those two specs. So they're not that special anymore. However, the weight on this thing is actually seven grams lighter than the Super Strike at only 54 grams.
[03:21] And the Viper V4 Pro is actually even lighter at 49 grams. These are all very mainstream, super popular gaming mice so they don't do anything crazy unique with the shapes or anything. I mean, even compared to the Super Strike, it's a very similar shape.
[03:33] They have almost the same exact mouse side buttons. The scroll wheel does feel a little more low profile compared to some other gaming mice I've tried. And the only sort of unique design feature this mouse has is up here at the top, you can see these thing like edges.
[03:46] I guess technically that means even if you have very long fingers, you can click it from even the edge and it still feels good. But honestly, don't see that being too big of a selling point. In the box, we have the 8K wireless receiver. We have Razer's lightweight braided USB-C cable.
[03:59] We have some extra textured grips for the mouse and we have some Razer stickers. And while I'm testing the Viper V3 Pro here, obviously the pro gaming mice are not cheap. So the only reason this video is even possible is from the great people at palm labs
[04:11] who actually make this glass mousepad I'm using right now along with a different mouse I'm gonna show later in this video. This is called the Lancer Pad and it's actually the first ever time I've used a glass gaming mousepad, but it has a really nice feel to it.
[04:23] It's 13.5 by 11 inches. Like even in the middle of fights, I haven't noticed myself run out of mousepad room a single time. It's basically the full range of motion of my arm. It's tempered glass and the surface is actually laser edge.
[04:35] So it does have a slight texture for better control. Plus the base is a non-slip silicone that really locks it into the desk. Beyond the technical aspects, glass mouse pads do have a lot of convenient features as well because obviously they don't like absorb sweat,
[04:48] stains, anything like that. If you spill something on it, it crumbs on it. If literally anything happens to it, you can just wipe it off and it's basically good as new. It comes in two different styles and both of these color options are around 50 bucks.
[05:00] And they have a mouse too, which I like to call a $60 version of the Super Light V2, which is coming up here in just a few seconds. So the link to the Lancer Pad as well as the mouse will be in the comments. Now as for how the Viper V3 Pro feels,
[05:12] it's kinda weird. It feels like very normal, but it feels very good. I don't know if this is actually true, but compared to the Super Strike, it feels like it's filling up more of my hand, so it does feel like it's bigger. But like I mentioned earlier, the weight is actually even lighter than the Super Strike.
[05:26] So it kinda feels like super controllable, it feels nice. Again, I really like to base my judgments on feel because I think a lot of especially tech companies like to just throw around buzzwords that don't really mean anything. Like sure, a higher DPI sensor in Gen 4
[05:40] versus Gen 3 optical switches means something. But in real use case scenarios, I just feel like a lot of that stuff doesn't matter. And it really comes down to how the feel of the mouse is.
[05:56] Oh my. And as promised, now is what I think my be the most popular gaming mouse in all of Pro eSports. The Logitech Super Light V2. I've had this for a think around six or seven months. And even before that, I have the Super Light V1,
[06:10] which is pretty much the same exact mouse just with some technical spec upgrades. As far as the shape and size and feel though, you could literally basically never tell the difference between the V1 and the V2 aside from the fact
[06:23] that the old V1 was micro USB. And the new V2 is USB-C. Once again, it has the two mouse buttons on the side. It has a very standard gaming mouse shape. The price of this fluctuates between 130 to 180 dollars.
[06:35] And the weight of it is 60 grams on the dial. But the mouse that I mentioned is basically a 60 dollar version of the Super Light V2 is this. The Palm Labs Lancer One Pro. Looking at the form factor, they're almost an identical shape.
[06:48] Even the side buttons are basically identical. This is wireless, has an 8,000 hertz polling rate. But these two things right here are actually probably the most unique feature in this video. Maybe besides the haptics on the Super Stripe.
[07:01] But you can actually get your fingernail under here and pop these things up. And these are the actual mouse switches, which you can fully pull out. And actually replace them with different switches that have different feels and sounds to each of them.
[07:13] And I think they told me with this discount code it ends up being 63 dollars if you get it from Amazon. So this is the gaming mouse that I've actually used the longest out of any mouse ever. But at least for Fortnite eSports, it's by far the most popular gaming mouse
[07:26] over the past few years. I did a video a couple months ago finding literally the entire set up of the top 100 Fortnite pros. Around 50% of the 100 best Fortnite pros in the world use this exact mouse.
[07:38] Another like 30% of them, by the way, use the Viper V3 Pro because that was before the V4 Pro came out. But basically something like 80 to 90% of the top Fortnite pros in the world use one of two mice, either this or the Razer Viper.
[07:50] And honestly after trying both of them, it's kind of funny to say, but it doesn't feel like there's anything too special about either of them. Like this right now is a great gaming mouse that has all the features I want on it. The shape is nice, the scroll wheel feels nice,
[08:02] the side buttons feel nice. And I think it's just like really breathable. Like you don't really hear about people having issues with these mice, they have really good receivers that block all interference. But again, there's nothing like too unique to special about any of these,
[08:14] which I guess kind of makes sense for why they're so popular. Because for a gaming mouse to get this popular, it needs to appeal to tens of millions of people. And so usually the most popular products are just kind of really good bearabones products.
[08:27] They don't have super unique features, they don't have unique feels to them. But being unique is exactly what the Razer Death Outer V4 Pro does. So this is actually probably the least popular mouse in this entire video, which is kind of crazy,
[08:39] because the Death Outer is still a very popular model. But right away, you can see that it looks a little bit different. This design factors in ergonomics way more, so not only can you see this little bump out right here,
[08:51] which helps for hand placement, but you can see it has a pretty drastic, actual bump in curve in it, especially when you compare it to like the Razer Viper. From the top, they don't look too different, but when you look at the side profile,
[09:03] you can see they're quite a bit different. Even the wireless receiver on this mouse has a unique sort of look to it. And this actually has some heft to it. The mouse itself here is 57 grams, it's once again wireless 8,000 hers pulling rate,
[09:16] but basically all of the technology that Razer upgraded in the Viper V4 Pro, they actually tested in this, the Death Outer V4 Pro first. So this has the 50,000 DPI sensor, this has the Gen 4 optical switches,
[09:29] and this is actually $170, so it's never changed in price. It's even $10 more expensive than the Viper V4 Pro. And for the extras in the box, it doesn't look like Razer changed much. We still have the braided USB-C cable,
[09:42] we still have the extra mouse grips, and of course, we still have the Razer stickers. In touching this mouse for the first time ever, literally instantly it feels way different than the other three gaming mice I've tried in this video. The first thing that's probably the most noticeable
[09:55] is it really fills up my hanging into a lot more than all the other three. And that's obviously because it has a way more drastic, heavier bump on it, but along with that, the clicks are way more like high-pitched and pingy compared to the other mouse in this video.
[10:08] But again, this mouse was made specifically with ergonomics in mind, so you don't really have to grip it in any type of way. You just kind of lay your hand over it, and it kind of morphs into your palm. It makes it feel bigger, but then again,
[10:20] because it's only 57 grams, it still feels really light and controllable. Oh my.
[10:32] Oh my. Honestly, I'm liking the feel of this mouse a lot more than I thought I would. Oh, we traded, no way. Obviously all four of these are very good gaming mice. They wouldn't be so popular if they were bad.
[10:44] At the end of the day, it truly comes down to your budget and personal preference. But I think the mouse that intrigues me the most that I'm going to continue to try to learn on is the X2 Super Strike. The customizable haptics in the rapid trigger clicks just kind of seems like it might be the future
[10:57] of keyboard and mouse gaming, but of course, all of these are very solid options. Clicking on the mouse is one of the most important things that I'm going to be able to learn very solid options. Click here if you want to see me try the three most popular keyboards,
[11:10] and of course, subscribe. Thanks so much for watching.
