Its The Worst Rated Episode of All Time

[00:02] you're probably wondering yourself if you have not watched this episode, what's wrong? Why is this being rated the worst episode of the series to date? This is episode 4 of season 3, aka three seasons deep into the series. Has the

[00:16] quality dropped off? Is the animation terrible? Is the voice acting bad? Are they skipping content? What is the exact reason why this series is being rated so poorly right now, and especially season 3? Well, let's uh let's explain that.

[00:31] So, basically, late last night, it was revealed that the latest episode of Mushoku Tensei season 3 is in fact being review bombed to death. 40% of its reviews are basically review bombs on IMDb, aka the same site that is

[00:44] constantly used to glaze shonen anime like Solo Leveling or Demon Slayer, Chainsaw Man, Dandadan. You get the point. Basically, this site that has now become a very custom site that a lot of people that love what say entry

[00:59] mainstream series use to scale how good their series is doing. Basically, Mushoku Tensei is doing absolutely terrible on that site. It is doing so terrible, in fact, that it is being rated literally a six out of 10 for its

[01:13] latest episode, which is very strange because, first off, pushing aside bias nothing fundamentally wrong with it. In fact, it's probably one of the best episodes of season 4 thus far, or season 3, correction. That's for a later date.

[01:26] Uh it's one of the best episodes of season 3 thus far. So, the thing here is a while, for the last few weeks, that I've been talking about personally, that the series is being heavily review bombed. Like, look at this one out of 10

[01:40] ratings someone gave this literally today on the latest episode of Mushoku these like one out of 10 reviews that people are using to review bomb this on IMDb. So boring, that's the head title of this review.

[01:54] I don't know what to say besides it's so boring. I don't remember when I felt Literally, I was checking how many minutes were left in the episode, I minutes were left in the episode, I don't know, 10, 11, 12, maybe 15 times

[02:07] because I was just wanting it to end. You might as well add a Subway Surfers scene somewhere or a Minecraft clip somewhere so I can at least keep getting entertained while watching this because it's so boring. You might actually say,

[02:20] with it for three seasons. The anime is not the worst, it's decent. Sometimes good and sometimes something is bad. So, we could say at least it's above think of dropping the series, but I heard that Turning Point 4 will be in

[02:34] this season and it's maybe the best event in this anime. That's why I'm staying here, but this review is for this episode. This episode was very bad. It's literally the most boring episode of the year for me personally. I watched

[02:46] hundreds of slops every season, not hundreds every season, but you get what Sitting in an isekai slop watching an overpowered MC getting some random girls is more interesting than watching this nothing burger ass episode. Hopefully,

[03:00] it gets better. Like this three episodes just keeps getting boring episode at by episode. I don't know, it's hard to watch. I I hope it will start to get interesting in the next episode, but I don't know how I will

[03:12] survive these boring events. Hopefully, Turning Point 4 will be close so we can actually start watching something, bro. Absolutely dreadful statement. First off, this is just him saying the series is boring and I'm like, "Bro, what are

[03:27] you even watching?" Like, okay, first off, let's just let's just talk about scene in particular, like if you're someone who likes art and animation, like you just need like the the jingling of keys in your face, this entire scene

[03:39] does it for you. It's beautiful. It showcases the absolute scale of the magic system within Mushoku Tensei. You have Rudy learning king-tier water magic from Roxy. This is an escalation and an evolution of the massive plot points

[03:54] from season 1 and season 2 of Rudy becoming better with magic. I mean, he was getting tutored by Roxy at the beginning of season 1 and eventually heard he learned one of her strongest spells and then she had to leave because

[04:06] basically could from her. And then you fast forward to basically the events of season 2 and season 3, Roxy was trying to learn more stuff, learn more magic tier spell to be able to use king tier magic and stuff like that. And basically

[04:21] she taught Rudy this. This is the last thing that she could teach Rudy until she had really nothing left to really teach him. This was a very important moment to showcase Roxy being in a way on the same level now as her student and

[04:35] also husband, but also someone that now has nothing left to teach her student. And it's a it's a very sad melancholy look that like I said, it's a progression of the development that the series has been doing. And so even if we

[04:49] particular besides anything else of the episode, if you have actually been watching the series with your freaking eyeballs and not with shonen brain rot, you would absolutely be like, "Damn, this is a freaking good episode." Like

[05:02] this is actual progression with a lot of the stuff that was literally set up within the first three episodes of season 1. But obviously this person, I mean they outlined it themselves. They are so brain rotted that they need to

[05:15] have constant dopamine hits every single second just to keep their eyes glued to the screen. Now in in all honesty, this review here is most likely someone that is being botted or just being a troll and down voting MT because right now

[05:30] there is a mass hate campaign against the series. There is. There 100% is. I mean the Kotaku article alone that came out yesterday is an indication to this, but we need to really just hammer in how stupid this like one out of 10 is and

[05:45] the others are as well. Like this person literally said they need Minecraft clips somewhere to keep themselves entertained and it's just like you are so brain rotted that you need constant dopamine just to be able to function. Like how

[05:58] did you survive three seasons of MT? Because like this episode of MT is the very thing that has been in the story since literally season 1. Like I mean the elements of slice of life fantasy, Rudy interacting with his family and

[06:13] friends. This is very much on par to everything that MT has had to this very point in the story and it's just like it's constant progression of that. I just I don't know how someone can take a look at this episode and say, "Oh, this

[06:27] is the worst episode of the series. This is an episode that it make you consider dropping the show." In fact, this is probably the least controversial episode of the entirety of MT. Like there's not really much controversial about this all

[06:40] you can really throw in is this little thing where, you know, she's trying to monster in the the room in the house basically and trying to raise it. That's really the only the only segment in this episode that you can kind of say would

[06:55] be controversial. But in the grand scheme of Mushoku Tensei standards of controversial, this is literally low-tier It's not It's not crazy at all. So, what I'm trying to say is is like calling this an episode deemed to

[07:11] needing to reconsider if you want to keep watching or drop the show. I'm just like, "Look, you clearly are not watching the show." Like you told nothing about what this episode was about. You just said it a slop. It was

[07:23] boring. You were doing the jingling of keys dopamine effect. You are literally what is wrong with the anime community past the 2020s. You are the shonen COVID anime tourists that coming in wanting to change everything and you need that

[07:37] action just to stay entertained and you don't want nothing else. You don't want don't want good character acting, you just want beautiful action, and you want impact frames continuously. But, you want to also see something even worse

[07:50] fact this person has not read or watched what they hear through word of mouth. This next one out of 10 really showcases just the mass hate campaign against the series and how manufactured and forced

[08:04] read the first few lines and you'll instantly see what's going on here. Mushoku Tensei is the definition of polished garbage. While the animation and world building are admittedly top-tier, they serve only as a glossy

[08:18] top-tier, they serve only as a glossy wrapper for a deeply disturbing core. The protagonist, Rudeus, is irredeemable. Despite being reincarnated middle-aged man, his behavior remains relentlessly predatory.

[08:33] I don't think I need to go any further. It's very obvious what this person is doing. They are doing literally the exact same thing that Kotaku did yesterday in their article that I completely deconstructed for pretty much

[08:45] is not watching the series. This is someone that is coming onto the IMDb one out of 10 because they just don't mouth it's very problematic, so they're rating it one out of 10. This is real

[09:00] rating it one out of 10. This is real good proof and indication on just how this series succeed. That there is a group of people that are doing everything within their power to try to push this series into the dirt, and make

[09:13] it seem like it is not doing good whatsoever, when in fact it is doing the opposite. Because, actually, I'm going to showcase something that actually indicates one good thing that Crunchyroll actually does. I know,

[09:25] shocking. But, uh let's uh let's just show this for a second. So, obviously, this episode, if you watched it or whatever, you might not know Crunchyroll has a rating system on their site. Yeah, I know a lot of people might not

[09:37] aware of this, but every single episode on Crunchyroll site has a thumbs up and even YouTube has anymore, by the way. You can't even see the dislikes unless Basically, if you watch an episode of an anime on Crunchyroll, you can leave a

[09:51] like or a dislike, and you can see that there is 41,000 people that like this episode, the latest episode, by the way, and only 579 people have disliked this episode. It is a massive difference in likes and dislikes. Now, for those that

[10:05] the entirety of the series as a whole, for instance, the likes and dislikes, let's go to the previous episode. This is episode three of season three, and if will see 65,000 likes and only 1.5K dislikes. Huge

[10:19] difference. So, as I clearly have indicated and shown here, Mushoku Tensei and every single episode on Crunchyroll site does have a thumbs up and thumbs down. And if you take a look at the likes and stuff on the episode, it's

[10:31] clear that majority of people absolutely are loving the episode. The people that loving it, and I'm willing to bet you the 40,000 people are the silent interact with, like, for instance, anime, read manga, read light novels,

[10:46] they keep to themselves. They sometimes discuss here and there, but most of the majority of them are probably lurkers that just keep to themselves, watch really interact with a lot of people. But you have the 500 or so people and

[10:59] 1,000 people that are the very loud minority that want to make it a problem problem for everybody, let you know that the series is very bad, problematic, needs to be sanitized, it needs to go. And that is what I think is going on

[11:12] for instance, like IMDb is being review bombed so bad, like MT majority of people are now using, like, the the mainstream COVID tourists, by rating system. It's no longer MyAnimeList that's being used, it is

[11:27] this site. And I feel like a lot of people that are using, for instance, this site are probably completely unaware that Crunchyroll has a thumbs up want to bet you majority of you are shocked about this information. I'm just

[11:40] stop at that. I feel like, you know, you know, it it's probably a little bit harder to do that also on Crunchyroll site in comparison to IMDb. So, all this stuff is just clearly artificial. There is just so much manufactured hate
