[00:43] joke. very similar to IGN, but it is still just it it really indicates just current state of their site when they have to write an entire article, multi-paragraph article, writing a hit

[00:59] piece on not just the series, but the offer itself and when you have them end the article with it's problemat. It's not just because it's problematic, but because it's problematic and crap. They they did the exact thing that they get

[03:21] well-known websites recommending an anime that I am unfortunately already well acquainted with. Mushikutensei Jobless Reincarnation. If you're Jobless Reincarnation. If you're unfamiliar with Musha Coutensei, good.

[03:38] But if you have heard of Mushiku Tensei and you're tempted to watch the wildly popular anime, which is often called controversial, I understand. And after all, I too felt the call when its first season dropped in 2021. There's a

[03:53] pedophilic elephant in the room we have to address before we go much further. But I want to preface this by stating that Mushkutins's well-known problematic story elements are not the only issue here. Don't get me wrong, the fact that

[04:09] the protagonist of the story is a 50-year-old groomer in a body of a teenager certainly isn't a positive for me. But there is another simpler reason I cannot recommend that you waste your time on Mushuk Tensei. It's just poorly

[04:23] time on Mushuk Tensei. It's just poorly written. How to showcase that you showcase that you haven't even watched the series. Let's uh let's just break this one down real quick. Rudas Grey Rat is the main protagonist of

[04:37] Mushikutensei. He was an overweight 34year-old Japanese neat who was reincarnated into another world after being hit by a truck while saving some kids. So, they couldn't even get the age right. For instance, when you have this

[04:50] writer, Lewis, the writer of this article, saying he's a 50-year-old groomer, they they didn't even get his age right. How do you instantly know that you haven't read or watched the series when you just you age him up by

[05:02] 16 years? That's a huge difference. By the way, I I I want to make sure I lay this out there. Okay, a 34 year old is vastly different from a 50-year-old. Okay, very big difference. 16-year gap. Okay, huge in terms of life experience,

[05:17] everything. The fact that the the writer of this article couldn't even get the like it's poorly written. What do you mean IT'S POORLY WRITTEN? YOUR ARTICLE IS poorly written. You can't even actually properly research what YOU'RE

[05:31] TRYING TO SLANDER, WHAT YOU'RE WRITING a hit piece on. You aren't spreading blatant misinformation. Like, what do you mean? And also, once again, buzzwords. Can we we got to start with this one as well. Like they instantly

[05:44] start off with a buzz word of a the pedophilic elephant in the room. Like you know what this indicates to me? This indicates to me that you can't separate

[07:27] because there are reasons that Mushku Tensei is so widely praised. Studios Bind's animation is incredible. The world building is topnotch and the character designs are for the most part genuinely cool. Rifujin, the pin name of

[07:42] crafted a compelling setting with a magic system that has well- definfined rules and limitations. So, you just contradicted yourself. That's writing. world building, magic limits and settings and all that and limitations.

[07:56] That is writing. That's setting the the foundation block for your world itself. That is writing. You're you're basically contradicting your statement right above just a few sentences down. So, what is it? Is it poorly written or is it

[08:11] well-crafted, top-notch world building with a really well-crafted magic system with limitations and rules? You cannot have both. Well, what are you trying to say? like you're you're contradicting like everything you just wrote literally

[08:23] up above. It didn't even take like till the end of this. It's literally just a few sentences down. It's very clear that whoever wrote this was just someone like I said they crafted this entire article either through AI chat GBT or something

[08:37] or like I said cliff notes from Reddit and also Tik Tok videos because there's no other way someone could say something like this while also saying it's poorly implying that world building and rules and limitations and stuff that's written

[09:03] better characters and a story that actually makes sense.

[09:29] magic system and rules, how well defined they are. Basically, straight up saying the writing is great. And then after this, they go into I wish it was written by a different writer. If it was written by a different writer,

[09:41] it wouldn't have the same setting, the same world building and everything. It would be fundamentally different. Okay? It would be very different. It would not be the same. But then on top of as well to basically say that you wish it had a

[09:56] the world with better characters and story that actually makes sense when you straight up say that the well-defined rules and uh limitations make sense, you're contradicting yourself literally a sentence later. What do you mean that

[10:09] the story makes no sense when you're straight up you just glazed that it has well- definfined rules and limitations for the world building? And if if we want to just get rid of that and we want to talk about like for

[10:22] instance like the character story, what what's so complicated about a person reincarnating basically growing up from a literal kid to an adult basically and learning magic and then being shipped off and all that to train and tutor

[10:37] someone Aerys and then eventually getting teleported around the world and able to find their way back home. What's so complicated about that? That is obviously a very like brief summary of events, but that is not complicated.

[10:53] complicated to have like a you know family turmoil and drama within the family and you know themes of like for instance uh infidelity and all that with like Paul and stuff in the early stages of you know Mushkutensei that is common

[11:08] stuff you see in just uh sitcoms. You see that in liveaction western shows. If you're telling me that's complicated or it is doesn't make sense, then you you're basically talking about everything from Western media. Okay, I'm

[11:22] just going to say like there's a lot of that stuff within Western media. So, the fact that apparently it's not well written or it's hard to understand, I'm just like once again contradictions, man. Complete contradictions. Anyways,

[13:05] the issue? So, let's um let's talk about that one for a second. So, the reason why Mushikutensei is called the Godfather and why this is a term that is Godfather and why this is a term that is used a lot is because it made certain

[13:17] tropes and themes popular. For instance, before Mushiku Tensei, yes, there was reincarnated stories. Yes, 100%. I believe Hack Sign is an example of this. predates Mushiku Tensei. However, Mushikensei exploded on the site when it

[13:33] was being written as a web novel/ light novel and it made themes and tropes that are within Mushikutensei, like I said, the main common stay popular tropes and themes within a Seki to this very day. In fact, for instance, the ReZero offer

[13:47] In fact, for instance, the ReZero offer Tape was inspired by Mushiku Tensei. They're friends. And so, basically, the reason why it might feel a little bit generic or same to some degree is because it is the one that made those

[14:01] popular, those type of story beats popular. It's because of Musha Coutensei. That is why it's called The Godfather. It's not because it was the first one. It was because it helped make certain parts of it popular. Now let's

[14:15] continue. Rudis grey rap is the issue. So every issue that this writer of this article has with Mushkuteni is Rudy. It it is the character the MC of the story. That is the reason they have all these

[14:30] issues with it. He is selfish, cringe-inducing and spends the entirety of the story perving on girls in their teens. Yet the problem here isn't just Mushiku Tensei's story implies that Rudus is on a journey of

[14:45] self-realization and redemption. Yeah, it is about changing as a person, being a better person, reincarnated, second chance at life. I know that's pretty complicated, but let's let's get into the main messages here. What is the very

[15:01] essence of reincarnation? Think about it. It's a second chance at life. You have another shot at life. Okay? And that is exactly what happens here. It is a full-blown second shot at life to try to change and be a better

[15:18] person. And he does. He does change fundamentally and becomes a better the story, he gets punished for some of the same mistakes he made in season or not in season one, within his previous

[15:31] life. For example, you know, not having connection with his parents. He realized the mistakes he made in his previous life cuz he didn't have a bond with them. And he realized when he was reincarnated, he did want to bond with

[15:43] like Paul for instance. But then he realized too late and he paid the price for it, which is the events of season two. He has been shown time and time again to be punished for his previous actions from his previous life. And then

[15:57] he learns from these mistakes. Like one big example within the first three episodes of Mushku Tinsi is him basically getting over his trauma and PTSD of wanting to leave the house. For those clearly this this writer has not

[16:12] break it down for those that or this writer if he somehow gets to this video. Rudy in his previous life was tormented. He was literally publicly lynched at his

[16:24] school. Put on the fence gate. lynched basically stark naked like birthday suit and all for everyone to see him. Traumatizing anyone in that situation would have been outright traumatized. So he fled into his room and never left

[16:41] till the day he basically died at the age of 34. Obviously he was traumatized. Now did he make mistakes after that? Yes. People tried to reach out and help him. He didn't take their hand, which is what led to his actions eventually and

[16:55] then eventually him dying at the end of his original life. The point here is is that he was lynched. He had a lot of trauma. He did not want to leave his house and he was only finally able to take those steps outside the door even

[17:09] in his second life when he met Roxy. That was a inspiration and bright light within his life. And so in that moment, it changed him fundamentally where he was able to experience the world. And that's there's other elements of this

[17:24] that I can talk about. For instance, the friend that went to Rudy's house like in his previous life trying to get him out and trying to basically get him to uh, you know, leave his place and try to get over PTSD. Rudy didn't grab his hand to

[17:36] try to leave and all that and try to finally go outside his house in his original life. He ignored his friend and eventually one day his friend stopped showing up. And that's basically showcasing regrets and the flaws of him

[17:49] as a person that he didn't pick and grab someone's hand. In this case, you see where he learns those mistakes to grab someone's hand that reaches out to help him. Roxy, very good example. So, the fact that this this person here is

[18:02] saying that um the story is saying that he's on a self-realization redemption journey, but obviously he's not really or whatever is just outright stupid. like very obvious that this writer of this article doesn't have any idea what

[18:14] they're talking about. They don't. Um, so let's continue reading. He was a but this is his second chance. And he regularly proclaims that he wants to change and evolve into a better, more righteous version of himself. But does

[18:28] righteous version of himself. But does he? Spoilers inbound. But no, he progresses. The finale of the first season culminates in Rutus and his companion Aerys having sex. Really though, considering Aerys was nine when

[18:43] she met Rudy, who was mentally 41 years old but physically seven, and Aerys is 15 years old, making Rudy mentally 47 years old and physically 13 years old just call a spade a spade. They didn't sleep together. Rutus buzzword groomed

[19:00] Aerys. That's what's being said. So, let's get into the fundamentals of this. Okay, let's let's just talk about this. First off, at this point in time within the story when Rudy actually was at the end of season 1, he was drastically a

[19:14] different person. He is not the Rudy from his previous life. He is very different. He's already lived in this body 14 or so years, 14, 15 years. He is, you know, had a very big different life experience at this point. And

[19:28] basically he is someone that was punished for his leerous actions and within the story within season one. Like Aerys literally beat the absolute out of him at the beginning of season 1. And he learned a valuable lesson. He

[19:43] learned to care for family members and everything. All sorts of stuff. And basically in the events that this individual, this writer is talking about here, they are straight up saying that Rudy was the one that did the actions,

[19:55] Rudy was the one that did the actions, which is not true. Actually, no. I will remind everybody of the scene. In the scene, Rudy actually was someone that someone that said multiple times to Aerys's advances, he didn't want to do

[20:09] seduced him while he was under the influence. She took advantage of him in that moment, and then they slept together. So if anyone did any sort of actions, it was Aerys actually that is the one that initiated and also took

[20:24] advantage of Rudy in that moment. The only thing that this individual is using as an example to kind of fire at Rudy in this instance is because of his previous life. But they're completely once again clearly not understanding the message

[20:37] and themes of the story. The the story is literally titled Mushikutensei jobless reincarnation. Look up in the dictionary what reincarnation means. It is a new life and his brain chemistry and everything

[20:52] is completely different. He is changing. He is not the same person that he was in his previous life. He's like 14 to 15 years already in this new life. He is not the same person. He has grown in the world, had fundamentally new

[21:05] connections, different things and everything. He is a different person. Even in the light novel, it is mentioned by Rudy himself with his inner monologue that he is doesn't have the same thought patterns or anything like his previous

[21:17] self did. He is a very different person. So the fact here that this person is just using the previous life as an example is just it shows that they did didn't. They once again they are individual that got all their

[21:31] information off of Tik Tok. They got all their information off of Reddit and stuff and they didn't actually go out of the way and watch it themselves because this is a conversation that's been beaten down over and over again and

[21:43] regurgitated by people trying to slander MT when it's very clear you have not understand the basic bare minimum of the writing when you're complaining about something like this when it was actually Aeros at fault for the entire situation.

[21:56] Anyways, let's continue reading. But again, it's not just that this is gross and that Rudy or the offer for that matter doesn't seem to perceive this as this one real quick. I briefly showed this at the beginning of the video, but

[24:12] times that it's okay to have a problematic character. It's okay for a character to be like a bad person, but then has a problem with the character being a bad person. Like just like if we want to humor this like, okay, so the

[24:24] problem? Oh, the character's a bad person because they're not getting punished for it. They are getting punished for, but you ignore it. Oh, okay. The author is a bad person because he wrote this character. What do you

[24:49] while reading this. Anyways, in fact, season 2 actually attempts to make you feel sorry for Rudy because the 47year-old man becomes so sad that the 15-year-old Aerys leaves him that he, I you not, spends the

[25:02] entirety of the 24 episode long season attempting to combat depression induced erectile dysfunction. And how does he get over it? By forming a herum, which consists of a 16-year-old that Rutus met when she was five and a 50-year-old who

[25:16] met Rutus when he was three. Christ, even typing this just makes me feel like even typing this just makes me feel like I've been put on some kind of list, reality. But let let's dive into the deep end on this one. Okay, so first

[25:32] off, fixing his problems by a haram. That is such a simplified version of everything with the story. It's insane because first off, you're complaining about

[25:44] Mushinsi not being unique. You're you're complaining about it being tropey and being the stereotypical of Sakai. That's what you say it a few paragraphs upward. Then you complain about a straightup unique arc that is literally not done.

[25:59] You never see it. Like name another piece of anime and manga that does actual ED as a central plot point to this extreme. Okay. They complain about depressed he is. And it's an actual real

[26:12] issue. It is. And I mean the the whole thing is a huge issue. like he almost dies because of like he wants to end it all because of how bad it gets. Like the It's like a new wound of trauma that he got thanks to Aerys. And basically to go

[26:27] how he fixed this is just so stupid because tell me you have not actually watched it by telling me you haven't watched it because first off he rekindles an old like bond he had with Silfie. He thought Silfie was a man. By

[26:43] the way, I I want to reiterate this, okay, for those that have forgotten. Throughout season 2, when he Sophie was being presented as a dude, okay, like Fitz or whatever, Rudy was questioning his sexuality. Like, I'm not even

[26:57] joking. Ruth Fuja wrote in the story that Rudy actually thought he was a gay, like he was actually gay and he was willing to take the step to be with Fitz or Silfie if Sophie was a man. Straight up. Well, that's some progressive

[27:11] writing. Like, I'm surprised you didn't mention that. That's pretty progressive. Like, he straight up was completely fine with being with a man if he really had these type of feelings and emotions. So, what do you mean you want to not

[27:24] acknowledge that or talk about that? That's weird. But on top of that, as well, like the the entirety was spanned over months upon months and months of them rekindling a bond and eventually building trust to where they had a

[27:37] proper bond and they had a night together. And eventually as they a home and all that. And eventually Silfie got pregnant. Drama came up as in anyone's life. And his dad and his family and everyone was in danger. So he

[27:51] does what anyone would do. He wants to save his family and help out in any way he can. And so in a very tough situation while his wife is pregnant, he has to leave. It's a bad thing. It it was a

[28:04] was damned if he did or damned if he don't. But he decided to go try to help out his family because he believed that his wife Silfie was completely safe. So he goes venturing, goes to the desert and all that. He goes to try to save his

[28:17] mother and father. He gets there, straight up loses his father. He straight up loses like his mother's memory. She's not the same person. And experienced. He's going through the loss of parents and everything. Then while he

[28:32] is literally basically comeos in bed for like a week to two weeks. Okay, he's not he's not really sleeping. He's not nothing they know can do for him. And the only thing that they know that they

[28:47] potentially do for him is to send Roxy in there to potentially get him going. in there to potentially get him going. And yes, was it a good thing to do? No. Roxy 100% took advantage of Rudy in that moment. She did. 100%. Very similar to

[29:01] Aris. But the thing is is that Roxy in Rudy's life was someone that was a beacon, a shining light because she was the one that helped him leave the house and get over his past trauma. And so just as how she helped him in the past

[29:15] get over that trauma, she helped him get over this trauma to a degree to be at the very least able to function and eat something to not die from starvation and dehydration. She managed to do that. Now, once again, you can damn her for

[29:28] her actions in sleeping with Rudy in that moment or whatever, but she got him up to not die. That's what she did. And so, obviously, they there was a huge elephant in the room that obviously they just had a night together. And Rudy

[29:44] takes, you know, uh it seriously and realizes he needs to say what needs to be said and do what needs to be done. And he takes Roxy back to his home. He tells Sophie the truth of what happened and is like, "Look, I want to take her

[29:58] as my second wife." Now, I'm just going to be blocked here, okay? Yeah, if you of themes, that's completely fair. I understand that. But the story established even in the first season

[30:10] that there is a custom within the world of multiple wives. Paul very good saying that this is a good thing or anything, but the story is the culture of the story sets us up to where there is a religion within the story that is

[30:24] one wife, one husband type marriage, and then there's others that's outside of And Rudy obviously is not a follower of that type of religion. So, he's fine with having multiple wives. Silfie even mentioned in the beginning of season 2,

[30:38] by the way, that she was completely fine if Rudy eventually had, let's say, like a a concubine or something like she she was completely fine. Now, is this a good dilemma. But the point is is that it was already addressed prior to that

[30:51] happening. But Sophie was still mad, understandably so. And Rudy felt guilty, And so, he realized that it could have from it. And the reason why he didn't run from it is because he learned a life

[31:05] lesson that he had already within season one of season 2. Running from your problems doesn't help anyone. It only makes things worse. And so, he confronted it headon. And that's what happened. He put his trust into Sophie.

[31:17] He put his trust into Roxy and hoping the situation would work out. And that's exactly what happened. The author of this grooming based haram story, disguised as a fantasy of Seki, has either refused or forgotten to give Rudy

[31:29] a comeuppance for these crimes and instead rewards him for them. So again, a redemption arc. This is not. To that end, I'd like to formally request that people stop tricking unsuspected anime enjoyers into watching this. Not just

[32:38] one, there is a scene where Rud has been gallivanting, adventuring with Aerys and Ruiger and all that and basically uh you know doing their own thing while you figure out where everybody is. Rudy confronts face tof face with his father

[32:51] in season one and realizes that things have gotten pretty freaking bad and he gets a full-blown family fight with his father basically kind of like in a fist fight and it can break apart their entire family but things work out and

[33:05] he's able to talk with his father on a level playing field and they get their feelings across. It was a very emotional moment and it showcases once again that Rooney got punished for his actions even in season 1 and he was learning from

[33:19] them. He learned to be a better person. I just it's very obvious as I've already said multiple times this writer had to have run this through chat Gvt an AI program of some kind and did not watch the series because you're there's no way

[33:32] you come to this type of conclusion organically. This feels like it was paid for. This was a paid for article meant to slander and destroy the series's reputation. But I think in turn what this has done is destroy your
