[03:53] a private call with me and Sky and he's like, "Guys, listen. I got my connect over at Blizzard and he told me they're announcing Classic Plus at the Warcraft Direct tomorrow. This was the night before. Okay. And he goes,

[04:08] "They're announcing it and uh they're just deciding on if they want to show the trailer or not because it's already done and ready to show." done and ready to show." And I go to him, I go, "But Sod is still

[04:20] going on. Like Sod is still happening, bro." He goes, "No, trust me. My connect told me >> your connect. I was like your connect. >> All right. I didn't want to like mo him, but

[04:35] connect. I was like, "All right, that's cool, man." And when he was streaming during the connect and when it ended and there was no Classic Plus, >> he was so pissed off. His community was so pissed off because he literally told

[10:18] lot of fun. I'm playing PoE Valheim. Nice. Nice. So, a lot of Listen, like I said, it's one of those like offseason, preseason situations where like now retail is obviously going to slow down, right? And it's going to take a second.

[10:32] Right now, there's definitely nothing going on in classic. The only thing going on in classic right now is they're doing what are those race specific >> Something like that. That I mean TBC just had the new season come out.

[10:45] >> Tempest keeping SSC >> [ __ ] scrape for content. So, not looking good on that regard either. So, right now when it comes to like World of Warcraft in particular, it's definitely taking a little bit of a a breather. But

[10:59] we listen guys, we also have to understand, I'm telling you right now, understand, I'm telling you right now, >> within the next month of time, WoW is about to get the new announcement for the patch. Obviously, I think

[11:13] that'll come within two weeks, one week, whatever. We'll get the release of the new patch 11.1.7 or 11.0.7. Then that hype will sort of lead us into the release of that big season into the

[11:29] BlizzCon, into the [ __ ] speculations and hypes and BS. It'll lead into Blizzcon and then from BlizzCon on, dude, who knows what can happen because

[11:42] have any bold predictions for BlizzCon? classic plus thing, that's not even a bold prediction anymore. Um,

[11:55] to make a Starcraft almost like shooter RPG game almost like like kind of like Gears of War [music] like like just story Starcraft

[12:08] or like you know Warhammer that space. like them to make it like Destiny. scenario, but they would never do that. [music] >> I don't think they But I would think more like Hogwarts openw world

[14:43] like for like players and enjoyers of I guess Blizzard games and and like playing video games in general and gamers. Yeah. World of Starcraft would be

[14:59] awesome. Universe of Star, the Galaxy of Starcraft, I don't know. Whatever you want to call it. Like a Starcraft MMO would be great. Like, sure, of course. But would Blizzard ever make an MMO RPG?

[15:15] Number one, again, I don't think so. If they haven't done it in 20 plus years, I don't see them doing it now, especially in this market. would they make an MMO to compete with themselves?

[30:07] really knows uh until people got on there and started testing some stuff out. So, they went out there. Bada bing. Heroic World Tier Quest Awards Myth Track Gear in 12.0.7. Oh, so if you go

[30:21] check it out, you could see here uh a little myth track back piece here or a little myth track back piece here or a [music] belt or bracers. The problem is that uh in this week's patch, there's a new quest. Open world gear is getting

[30:34] new quest. Open world gear is getting access. Yeah. Yeah. collect four void commanders emblems from the new world bosses in heroic world tier. As these are world bosses, it's likely that these will only drop

[30:49] once per week, meaning that you will need to take four weeks in order to need to take four weeks in order to complete this quest. Now, what the what's up with Blizzard doing this? This is now the like three times in a row

[31:03] between the midnight launch, the.5 patch, and now the 7. What's up with the slow drip like four-week thing? Not sure. Especially when it comes to a.7

[31:15] sure. Especially when it comes to a.7 patch. Like why are we not uh just like giving us everything at once? >> Just let them get one piece a week. >> Yeah. I don't even know what the big deal is. It's a 7 patch. Like it's done.

[1:22:35] of Warcraft from my co-workers on second shift at the EB Games warehouse where we cleaned and refurbished consoles and the reclamation reclamation center. They wouldn't stop talking about dungeon runs and wild

[1:22:48] world PvP stories. It didn't take long before Curiosity won. I picked up a copy shortly shortly after release. Rolled my first character on Storm Reaver US and

[1:23:00] joined their guild. Velix Mortise leveling vanilla felt like it took a lifetime and saving gold took even longer, but the friendships made it worth it. Before long, I had friends all

[1:23:13] over the US and beyond. Still keep in touch with some of them today, even if we don't all play WoW anymore. Now, here's where things take a turn. Straight out of a sitcom, my buddy and I had been playing WoW together forever.

[1:23:28] Raids, dungeons, late night nonsense. Yeah, the usual. Somewhere along the way, I started teasing him with a running joke. Can't see that one. What is that? Started teasing him with a running joke. One day, I'm going to have

[1:23:42] babies with your sister. It was my favorite bit. Drove him nuts. You see from there? Yep. I thought it was harmless. Funny. Zero consequences. >> Whoa, whoa, whoa. I thought it was

[1:23:58] funny. Harmless. Zero consequences. Turns out, well, there were consequences. One day he says, "Hey, my sister's getting on ventrillo. You should probably be ready." I assumed he was bluffing. Turns out he was not. A

[1:24:13] new voice pops into the channel, her voice, and she immediately calls me out >> That's crazy. I swear I forgot how to speak or how to speak English. I'm sitting there thinking, "Wait, she's real?" That's how it started. A joke, a

[1:24:27] of the guild. But then we kept talking and talking and talking. Suddenly, I wasn't I wasn't logging in for Loop. I was logging in to hear her voice or to hear her laugh. That's when I knew I was in trouble. After a few months, we

[1:24:43] decided to meet in person. She flew to Pennsylvania and I remember standing in the airport thinking. She takes one look at me and turns around, I'm uninstalling WoW forever. But she walked toward me smiling and we

[1:24:56] both had that holy crap, this is real moment. She stayed for weeks and when she left the house just felt way too quiet. Next, I flew to Wisconsin to meet her family. Wait a second. I have a question.
