Live Stream: New Chatbot and Cold Email Tips

hey so we're doing a stream today i just figured we'd go off the cuff stream a little bit maybe show you some some new stuff that we're working on and uh and etc so i've got my chrome browser open here because i do actually have some really cool stuff that i want to show you so we made it we made a hire i don't know if you watched the live stream we did about a month ago

i also did like an off-the-cuff sort of live stream where i was going through up work and just talking about like the new hires we were trying to make and i did end up actually making a hire his name is carlos and he is running the basically the user acquisition now for email 10k and i don't know if you guys have seen this let me show you this i don't know if you guys have seen this

made any sales with the spot yet we just launched it a couple days ago but we're doing really good with lead generation you can see like all these leads are just pouring in like 10 15 a day and the main reason why i like this and i know it might be a little too easy or too early to uh to brag about it which i'm not bragging about i just want to show you this you can

get like the cutting edge data here um none of these leads used to be doing anything right like we were getting 20 ish signups a day on that email 10k page and they were like totally anonymous right they'd go into aweber and we would send uh emails to them the autoresponders and they would convert like we're selling the course obviously you know we're selling actually a lot of the course um i was just talking to somebody

else who was trying to sell me his course he showed me the numbers and it made me feel really good about our sales numbers because holy crap dude according to his twitter he according to his twitter he was so good at selling a course but according to reality we are destroying but anyway what i love about this bot is it's now converting people that would normally be anonymous right they come to this maybe they'd add to

cart we don't even have an add to cart button anymore it's hidden we have to talk to the pot and now they're they're literally talking with us i'm gonna try to find a good one i don't want to out any of these guys that's why i think greg just might be a test one so we'll just look at this so you can see they're engaging with the bot and we also have qualifications down here basically we're

um we're qualifying people on budget now too so literally they're hitting this automatic chat bot getting qualified for the new email 10k pricing which um is north of 3k now right now our forward-facing pricing is 5000 bucks for email 10k which is totally worth it by the way these are tested systems we improved it to an insane degree over the last year actually year and a half so 5k is worth it but now even before they

even get to that point now they have to go through this whole thing so we're in the process right now of rebuilding the email of rebuilding the x-27 marketing site um by the way robert runs westrom which is another web development agency my co-founder and he is actually really good at design so we realized we got this terrible website um yeah we got some good clients and like we're doing really good but we have this terrible

website so we're building a new website right now and one of the things i want to do on this new site is i want to i want to put that same chat bot right here right because all of these anonymous leads what i found is you can take anonymous leads 60 of them are engaging with this chatbot it looks like and you can actually start a dialogue with just random people that are hitting your site that's

what i'm loving that's our big thing that i'm loving right now hey alex cold emailing by gmail is it good or bad um actually in the email 10k course i i do this live to find a partner um that'll let us sell 150 000 deals and i do this live and i did that negotiated a partnership got permission to sell this [ __ ] using only a gmail account and just giving him a call it took 45 50

seconds it's all recorded in the course so gmail's fine um i i would i i hate recommending stuff like that though because then you're gonna go out there and like spam a bunch of people with a gmail account you have to do it a very specific way and that's why we teach a very specific way in the course how you guys doing by the way this is just an open stream we got nothing i'm showing you

love like for instance lemlis just added a feature that allows you to customize first lines right and i i just love that like the software tools that we recommend are watching our content and actually changing the way that they do business based on the way that that we teach it because the way we teach it it used to be the way that we teach cold email was very different like if you read predictable revenue by aaron

ross the way we teach cold email is like it's in a completely different universe to that but now you'll see that the um the main way that people are teaching cold email is shifting more to the way that we teach it which i think is is amazing it's really cool really cool to see that and i we've been doing this for a really long time so it's it's it's really awesome but yeah someone else i've seen

cold email king i've seen the cold email kings that i showed what did i show i showed you a um a couple days ago on youtube i showed this video where i was looking at some random lead gen agency and they literally had a monkey logo it was like they copied uh it was like they copied the other agency i was working at almost identically the one i talked about in past videos so this is cool

to see man and i don't i don't mind it i really don't mind it one of the reasons why i share everything is because i see that there's a lot of opportunity out there for people like cold email is is one thing that if you can master you can literally do anything like imagine you want to get a job at amazon send a cold email imagine you wanted to stop selling 250 things you want to sell

25 000 things but you need to sell to a specific person that can afford that cold email is the place to go you know right now i'm working on a book launch and we're using cold email in multiple different ways to basically give out free copies to get book reviews to um get media attention podcast interviews like there's four or five different ways that we're using the skill of cold email to to promote this book and

you can do it for anything which it's just really cool man i'm i'm willing to sit here and reveal all my tactics and change the industry because i think once it clicks that you can literally email whoever you want and escape your current situation and just like do anything once that clicks for you once that freedom happens um i mean it's just a freaking straight shot to the top for you that's it so i you know

i can rhyme spitting bars off the dime spitting bars off my head by the way i'm bald but i'm closing deals so well it's like my name is john wall i'm in the nba except this is sales not play because we're in it to win we close 100k in a day living life our way didn't come to play my man alex berman he was in 40k of debt that was not a bet but he bounced back

because we always come back you know we didn't take no [ __ ] and we got girls sucking on our sack that was kind of vulgar so i'm gonna change the subject back to sales my head is pretty pale but i have so much money from these deals i'm gonna hop in the yacht and sail on the mediterranean sea robert you're about to see i'm a million dollar closer all these other sales guys i run over because i'm

gonna be whipping in my range rover with all the commission all these [ __ ] checks i don't mean to flex but you know i'm the best all this time in the gym i'm going for the win doing all these curls no wonder why i'm getting all these girls uh look at the muscle look at the hustle always on the grind i got money on my mind and you know i'm gonna get them signed make them pay all

up front on the phone yeah because that's what i do i'm coming for you and i am a rich ass jew me and my [ __ ] crew we're always pulling through and the skies are always blue it's always sunny and my bars they are pretty funny i'm drunk off the gin playing rummy back to sales though that's part of my flow and when it comes to sales you know i always go i can close a deal sober

or when i'm on the drone i'm just that good even though i came from the hood came from brunswick but you know i ain't no hick i close the deal get from this pay up front that's the trick 15k i closed it yesterday now i'm gonna close another deal i don't play these clients they do what i say because i am the doctor on the phone i control the sale i control the conversation that's espanol i

speak two languages spanish and english yeah i'm going off the top and i'm not gonna stop and i'm gonna make all these clients drop dead because i'm never in the red i'm in the black and you know we'll always come back uh and my bars are pretty wack but i had the same so i'm done i don't know what i'm saying [Music] what'd you guys think of that that was dope as [ __ ] yeah um 40k in

debt yeah i went 40k in debt um when i first started my company basically i went i went into 20k in debt two times that's how it ended up 40 candidate the first time was i hired a bunch of employees made all the mistakes possible started paying salaries before we even add revenue make a diss track alex there's no way um but yeah i started paying salaries too early i talked about the previous video and so

i might i went 20k in debt there we didn't have the revenue to cover those salaries and then this and then while 20k in debt this is how stupid i was acting well 20k in debt i went i got a uh a client that was paying me basically we were making 80k a year in profit off this one client but i felt like i was i was wealthier than that and so i the other 20k went

to like fancy hotels basically i was living i went from living in crappy airbnbs in a different city a month as a nomad to living in fancy hotels as a nomad um and so that took a while to pay off that really took a long time to pay off um but yeah no we knocked it out what's cool about what's cool about entrepreneurship is you can go 40k into debt and it can look like you're not

making progress on it like i was making my minimum payments or whatever but then all at once like a few years ago we just started making money hand over fist i was able to pay off the debt in about what 35 40 days so i don't recommend people get into a bunch of debt but i can also say from my experience if you get into debt for the right reasons you can you'll knock it out you

know kanye west was 50 million dollars in debt two years ago now he's a billionaire you know so i'm not gonna say go out there and get in a bunch of debt but like worked for him really worked for him you know seemed to seems to have worked for me as well but i don't like recommending it because i mean if you're gonna go into debt and buy like a car that's you know like a ferrari

that's probably not a good move my ferrari payment's going directly into the stock market right now um all right gabriel says how many do you need to start our assets edgar says 40 candidate didn't know that zap zaynep says make a diss track maybe i think my only note to jacob i loved that rap my only note is he really shoulda he really should have made it on a boomerang kid beat you know my little brother

does does rap beats and i'll show it you know i maybe i'll show you this maybe not my little brother does these rap beats and he's actually doing pretty good on distrokit um you i mentioned him in a couple videos because we used cold email for him to get a job at like one of the top record maybe the top recording studio in la he used cold email to get a job there but now he's using

our i've been writing emails to his list too and he's been selling these beats like he's almost making enough to live off of these these little beats here you know tight beats which i think is super cool but yeah next time jacob next time anyone wants to make a freestyle rap i might feature you on the channel but you should try using a boomerang kid because this is my brother joseph who does those um what else

so prithee says hi alex hi davey says what's what the most important thing when you write an email if you want to book meetings all right most important thing when you write an email if you want to book meetings number one make sure that you understand who you're selling to and it's as specific as possible so for instance um you're not going to sell to business owners or you're not going to sell to startups you want

to sell to like you know delivery companies or like um retail stores or even more specifically like makeup e-commerce companies you want to get super specific there one number two you want to make sure that you have a case study that you call out um and in the course email 10k if you go to email 10k.com um we show you how to get this case study even if you don't have one but call out your case

study personalize email and send something of value that's the most important thing when you want to write an email just make sure you're sending the emails to the right people and you're saying the right stuff and i know it sounds simplistic but if you reach out to people that can afford you and you talk to them in a way that gets them to buy you make money that's it just simple you talk to somebody that is

you know five million dollars in revenue and you ask them for 20 grand and you tell them that the 20 grand might help might help them grow their business not even will help them grow their business they'll kick you the 20 grand just to try it out and um that's exactly what we talk about needle 10k so if you're not in this i would join this email 10k.com all right uh what else we got what is

i like my little brother's beats i rap on those sometimes you know when i'm when i'm hanging out with my my family um all right davey one what's the most important answer that edgar what do you think about charge high and justify um that i i haven't heard it phrased like that but that's exactly what i talk about so when i'm talking about pricing anything i literally you know you could say charge high but that's completely

relative i'll come up with the price i want to charge first and then build everything else after so for instance for x27 we want to aim for about 120 000 a quarter per client so i'm like what are people charging or what are people paying for that's 120 000 in the lead gen space so then we're building our offer around that the same with uh the course email 10k we wanted to charge we want to charge

5k for this course so it's like what needs to be in the course to justify 5k right it's like the private community the mentorship the the um you know detailed step-by-step things like real life case studies watching it happen live the tested system that's very very hard to mess up like that's exactly what i believe in uh edgar the same exact way so like come up with your price whatever you want to charge first then build

the product around that price and ideally price and um and profitability as well so like i want to charge 100k and i want to make 30 off that all right so what costs you 70 000 or less that people will pay 100k for and now you're already thinking in the right direction then you use cold email to reach out to those people um that's you know join email 10k i'll say it a million times hop in

email 10k please if you want to grow your business uh elevational uh what's his channel i showed you ready gabrienne do you have any recommendation on how to become good copywriter and how do you know that your copy really sells so what's cool about cold email is you can start with gibberish send it out to a group of people and then based on the responses from that gibberish you know if you're good or not that's actually

one of my favorite things about cold email i don't know a lot of other skills like that where you can basically write 100 emails or even 20 emails send them out to your group if you get three responses you're doing good if you get no responses you gotta try again if you get no opens then you know to work on the the subject line right this is actually where we innovated on cold email this is not

a system that everyone talks about anyone else doing this kind of structured approach has copied us directly um but that's exactly what we talked about nemo 10k um that's what i like about it you want to get really good at copywriting you put that up on your landing page what you're trying to drive organic traffic to that you might never know you might never know if your copy is good but you pop it in a cold

email send it out to 100 people you'll know instantly at least whether the subject line's good and you don't need to build an email list you don't need to spend any money on ads like it's killer it's really killing uh david can cold text work apart from cold email i do not know the legality of cold texts i personally don't like getting cold texts so i haven't tried it some people have been i've been getting i've

been getting cold texts like um those people have been offering you know extended warranties and stuff um and actually some b2b texts on building websites but i don't i don't love it um so i don't recommend cold text we will text if you put your phone number in somewhere we will like text you we use twilio and other tools to to build that text message list but i think the reason why i like cold emails specifically

is kind of like a cold call it is made for sales uh businessmen sit around like yeah dude you're you're you're a normal guy you're trying to do whatever you're not gonna get like these you know spam emails or you're not gonna respond to these spam emails from like nigerian scammers asking for 20 million dollars but if you're a businessman uh or woman business person you're getting emails all the time from people that are offering you

random stuff and more specifically you're looking for stuff like right now in our business i just made a big hire with carlos so i'm not really looking for anything but for a while i was looking for someone to build our landing pages i was looking for someone to redo our funnels we were looking for multiple sales people like i'm sitting here as a businessman and we actually got some cold emails during that time um where people

were offering to work with us they were coming in they wanted to be sales people for us and if you happen to be cold emailing us during that time that we're hiring bro i would have handed you like 2 000 bucks no hesitation at all right because what happens is when a business owner has this budget right like what i'll normally do and what robert will do also my co-founder is we'll be like all right we

want to try youtube ads and we're willing to invest ten thousand dollars in this like literally a business at our level right a business higher at a higher level we'll even be talking at bigger numbers but we'll be like all right we want to try youtube ads we got 10 000 bucks who do we hire to spend this on and then if someone hits us with an ad or someone hits us with cold email during that

time that we're looking they might get 10 000 bucks dude like um this literally happened i blacked out their name here um because i don't i didn't 100 love their service but i hired these guys at outreach um and they had a 15-minute call and because our budget was ready you know because we were ready to go i literally wrote that or i literally put my credit card in for ten thousand dollars after a 15-minute phone

call you know what i'm saying like you got to start talking to the people that are willing to pay you because to me the ten thousand dollars was nothing because we were like oh if we spend ten thousand we can make millions off of ads it's worth it's worth it to figure this out we were even willing and we did this two times we were even willing to spend ten thousand have it go to zero fire

that person and then hire somebody else and hand them ten thousand too that's like and we're not a big business you know we're not six million we're not six seven eight million dollars in revenue we're not a golden goose company and even at our level we're willing to invest like that so imagine you're only going after companies that have five to 150 million in revenue the amount of cash you can just get and i know it's

true because even at x27 we're getting 60 000 bucks on one credit card transaction or like fifteen thousand dollars right away um it's it's it's real you gotta you gotta elevate your mindset and start going after the people that have the money to pay you that's it um all right boomerang kid so elevation said that um elevation said do you think cold email would be useful getting a musician on the soundtrack for a video game 100

okay so my little brother joseph i'll talk about him more he's in this band uh dj group called clown uh right now they're both out in la and one thing that i did for them and i feel like i might have made a video on this one thing i did for them was we were reaching out to billboard hot 100 artists like the biggest most famous artists emailing those artists trying to get them to give us

permission to do an official remix of their song and i only sent like 20 of these emails we got uh three talking to three and we got actual stems and permission from one of the 20 people so yes cold email works across industries um yeah 100 so yes you can you can use it for anything would it be useful for getting a musician on the soundtrack for a video game 100 100 um i actually used to

work for i can't say his name right now in this context but i used to work for a hollywood celebrity and i was watching him uh put together this documentary and he at one point just asked his assistant to email this the manager of some major band just literally cold email never met this band before and it was for like a hit song to put in this in this documentary and the manager got back and said

no you can't use this hit song but you can use this song for free and it was like you know whatever their third major hit not their main major hit so it's like maybe they did that because this guy was a celebrity i mean he wasn't like tom cruise he was like you know i i don't want to say in case somebody knows who he is um but you you'll be surprised this is what i'm saying

if you start playing the cold email game hop on hop on over to email 10k start playing the cold email game you'll be surprised who's getting back all right what else what else oh keep keep the questions coming dude guys i love this i love this a lot um john smith get mail tracker google chrome extension uh elevational do you think that built with is a good service for identifying companies with high dollar expenditures it can

be um i like the tools we recommend in email 10k specifically so built with is okay uplead is a similar price and has built with functionality built in so i like that um but i'm also kind of biased because will the ceo at upley is a sponsor on our on our channel and built with isn't and that's what you get you know if you're not sponsoring us i'm not going to say good stuff about you that's

all i that's all i gotta say dude um i will i will actually say good stuff about you if you're good for instance google drive is amazing uh but microsoft not too good you know but if microsoft paid me maybe i i'd change that opinion we'll see does that just completely like ruin my credibility we'll find out all right uh elevation cool texts are annoying i block them all the time 100 you don't want to be

annoying people however you can um however you can send cold emails i love cold emails um yeah you don't want to be annoying people and also i want to say you don't want to be doing illegal stuff cold text messaging might specifically be illegal in america so we want to not do things that are illegal um cold calling or sorry cold email is legal in america we've got this thing called can spam which was meant to

block like all of those spammers from nigeria and like the viagra ads and stuff and it did that and still left cold email business emails as legal so cold email is like it's good to go in the u.s good us is the land of opportunity right we've had people in india and actually a few people in um northern africa like kenya area uh reach out to people in the us close u.s business and what's crazy is

like like i don't know what the average salaries i know in romania the average salary where my co-founder is from the average engineer salary is 1500 bucks a month like engineer software engineer and like you could go as a romanian engineer reach out to an american company and close a 20 000 contract and then you basically are going from 1500 a month to 20 000 and whatever however long that contract takes to fulfill two months right

so it's like cold email also allows you to play in america which don't don't let the news fool you it's still very much the land of opportunity um we're number one in a lot of areas here um visionary concepts why is male shake the best cold email tool to use it's actually um one of my favorites but my favorite right now is is lemlist and i talk about all my up-to-date favorite tools my stack is actually

as well oluwatobi says what do you think about woodpecker i have no opinion on woodpecker yet uh maybe i'll do a video on woodpecker and do do a review i know we just did one on clothes and it seems like people on this channel and youtube seo both love when we do review videos um aloo watobi it's so sad that nigeria is blacklisted i'm nigerian how possible would it be for someone like me to get clients

you know what i think it really sucks right because nigerian spammers is a a stereotype in the united states that's crazy that that they blocked nigeria because of that um you might want to look into like using a vpn or something i don't know i'm not like a cyber security expert but i would say spammers from nigeria are still setting cold emails um elevational law i see upland is a lot cheaper uplead i hope you know

i upload i really love uh i used to use zoom info which is a public company and you know their stocks traded on the stock market and it's like i would bet against zoom info all day because people like uplead are coming around and zoom info is charging you know 1200 to 2000 a month for the same data you can get on upload for 70 doesn't make any sense unless zoom info buys up lead in which

our houses i um i was painting a portrait and i spilled white paint all over my laptop my macbook pro and so i went to walmart and i just ended up buying like a 400 windows computer and so then i got hooked on windows now i have this really nice predator helios 300 which i think is asus but windows isn't bad dude actually windows i like better than than mac os now and i didn't think that

before it's also better for gaming i'm playing fortnite on here sometimes my little brothers and me play uh warzone call of duty uh sometimes and like i like that it can run the games i really love that this can run the games on the mac couldn't all right what else do we have uh i wish i could pronounce your name um don't use apple products there you go uh vlad says can i use cold emailing to

promote my life coaching services so if you are selling to other businesses you can use cold email i wouldn't go one to one with cold email and i actually think sending cold emails to people that aren't businesses might be the violation of can spam that might actually be illegal but sending cold email to other businesses if you could come up with a life coaching package where you know maybe frame it as like ceo training or something

now you're selling to businesses now you can now you can send cold emails and businesses pay a lot more than individual people um elevation says how do you feel about send grid i'm always looking towards using it because it integrates with sweet dash you know there's so many tools out there um i haven't looked at send grid in detail um currently for our email list we use aweber that's what we use we use mailchimp i don't

mind mailchimp joseph my little brother who i was just talking about uh still uses mailchimp he loves it um i did actually an aweber versus mailchimp list they're all the same they're all the same they're all the same visionary concepts how many personalized do you emails do you recommend we send daily to test um i mean you want to make a change every 20 emails uh change the subject line change the body uh but as long

like every tool is exactly the same did aweber or mailchimp which one should i pick either one i like aweber but it doesn't matter you know like i would rather you go out there buy a tool even overpay for a tool and start selling then i would then i would recommend you spend even more than 20 minutes looking at tools right and once you're a successful entrepreneur go hire somebody you know go hire a tool guy

a tool person and you could pay him 100k a year with your newfound wealth because you took action you know stop spending time on stuff that's not making you money um elevation allah you're looking for startups have you tried crunchbase uh i actually so crunchbase was where we started out um crunchbase and angellist when i was first in new york city four or five years ago starting one of these businesses i used crunchbase and it worked

really well um so yeah it's still a good um still a good lead pool we call them lead pools so basically leadpool is a list of companies you can sell to there's a ton of really good ones um crunchbase and a few others are actually recommended an email 10k um what do we got minded says love your email scripts thank you you know who else loves them the customers that's all that really matters you know i

could i could sit here and i could wow you with the greatest you know verbal jiu-jitsu possible but all that really matters is does the email convert and i think if you can put that if you can if you can remember that in everything you do it's not about the style as much as it's just about like going for it hitting the points you need to hit um then then everyone who listens to that is going
