AI Summary

The video outlines the creator's strategy for reaching 100 million gold in World of Warcraft: Midnight, detailing three primary methods: concentration crafting, farming, and cross-realm flipping. The creator emphasizes consistency and patience, sharing personal progress and tools used.

[00:15]
Gold Tracking with Wow Thing

Uses an add-on called Wow Thing with a paired app to track total gold accurately and display it live on stream.

[00:59]
Method 1: Concentration Crafting

Using concentration on alt characters for easy profits, especially alchemy (lightless potion) and tailoring (bolts). Yields about 4,000 gold per alchemist every four days.

[03:39]
Method 2: Farming Character

Set up a druid with tailoring and skinning for group farms, or mining/herbalism for solo farms. Efficient for active gold making.

[05:39]
Method 3: Cross-Realm Flipping

Buy cheap items on one realm, transfer via warband bank, sell on higher-priced realms. Currently making 1.5 million gold profit per week in 4-5 hours.

[07:01]
Cross-Realm Crafting

Craft items like blue gear (cost 4-5 gold) on one realm, transfer and sell for 2-3k on others. Requires patience but high profit per time.

[12:02]
Critique of Midnight Professions

Blizzard made professions too easy with low barriers, reducing profitability, but cross-realm methods still work.

Cross-realm flipping and crafting are the most effective methods for massive gold, despite being daunting. Consistency and patience are key to long-term success.

[00:02] gold in Midnight World of Warcraft and so far we are at about 34 million so we are still so so far away. In this video I will go through the different methods that I am doing to make gold and how I'm planning to go forward. Let's just

[00:15] quickly show you how I do track my total gold. I am using an add-on that's called Wow Thing. It has an app paired with it which basically uploads a file every total gold amount and a lot of other stuff. Of course it's tracking a

[00:31] ton of stuff. In this way I can 100% accurately track my total gold which is really really nice because I haven't found any reliable other source of also in my opinion a fun little thing because we are tracking the gold and we

[00:44] have a live tracker on my stream so we can see every day how it goes if I go up in gold or if I go down. So don't forget to follow me over on twitch.tv/eloncs. I'm streaming every Monday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. But let's talk

[00:59] about the first method that I do to make consistent gold. So the first method that I quickly want to talk about is using your concentration in your professions on all of your old characters to make some easy profits on

[01:11] craft. This is also something that is quite consistent and it's also very quick. Not the most fun thing in my opinion but at least it brings in gold and staying consistent when you have large goals like making a 100 million

[01:24] gold I believe is really really important because you got to keep the constant flow of income to ever there. I think that is a better approach than going extremely hard at one point then taking a long break then going ham again

[01:38] then taking a break. It's better if you can stay consistent and make a lot of that I'm working on because I'm not perfect in this part. For example, my concentration crafters here they have been sleeping for like a few weeks now

[01:50] because I'm too lazy. So it's great that I'm making this video cuz it's kind of reminder to myself that I actually need to stay consistent and start doing this again. I know that concentration crafting has been rough lately, but it

[02:02] is still pretty good with some crafts, especially in alchemy. Like what I do in alchemy is usually just the lights potential potion. I have of course some kind of multi-craft tool as well, and it's still giving me a lot of profit per

[02:16] crafts. I can do like two or three every four days. It's still 1,600 gold per craft, so over 3,000 gold basically pretty passively every four days on this craft. And then of course, I have the spec for the transmute, which also is

[02:32] giving me a little bit of gold when I do them. I also do them every fourth day then. So right now that would be about 1,000 gold extra, which is not too bad. So that's about 4,000 gold every four day per alchemist that you can have.

[02:46] Then I have a tailoring setup here as well. This is way worse in terms of I should be doing the bolts with concentration. That is what I did my last sessions when I did it, but there might be something else better. I don't

[02:59] really know if there is, or maybe it's just this. And still 157 gold per craft here with the cool down bolts is not too bad actually now when I see it. Of course, they regenerate quite slow, but you still are able to do a few crafts

[03:12] every fourth day as you do your other concentration cycle, so that will add up some gold. So that is one way that I do it, and I have my full setup for this in another video on my channel that you can check out. I can link that in the

[03:24] you want to make some consistent easy gold, I would highly recommend you to do be the best in this expansion because this expansion is a little bit rougher alchemists are going to have the best time using their concentration. Another

[03:39] thing that I have done recently to up my game a little bit is I have made myself a farming character. So this one is a tailoring and skinning character, so I both can do skinning farms and tailoring farms. Whenever I want some active gold

[03:55] making or some farming with shot or something like that, I have this character set up now for skinning and for tailoring, and it's actually really, really fast to set up as well. And if you farm tailoring in a group, it is

[04:07] pretty good gold per hour. So, what I usually do then is either I just come here and search for farm and I check what farms is up. Right now there is none, but I would either make myself a group for farming cloth in Harondor,

[04:20] which I have in another video. I can link that one below as well. Or I would make one for skinning and do that as well. Right now, cloth farming is do skinning. And if you don't want to get bored, you probably don't want to do

[04:32] the same thing all of the time. But I highly do recommend to set yourself up with one farming druid that is ready to do cloth farming and skinning farming. Those are two good professions if you want to do some active farming. And then

[04:46] of course, setting yourself up with a dual gatherer as well, mining herbalism, is going to be the way for you if you want to do solo farms. Because tailoring and skinning right now, you have to be farming in a group to make any

[04:59] substantial amount of gold. But with mining and herbalism, that is solo. So, if you prefer solo farming, go with mining and herbalism. Just make sure you are a druid. It is more efficient. You are killing a lot of mobs when you are

[05:11] gathering now, which means that if you're not a druid, you have to mount up. And that is a cast. And that time adds up. So, you want to try to be as efficient as possible. At least you want to remove those parts where it's just a

[05:24] through in this video like details on where I'm doing the farms, because then this video will be like a forever long video. So, I will be linking them in the out those videos if you're interested in that particular gold making. But let's

[05:39] check out the next gold making method. And this is the one that is making me the absolute most gold. And I know this is the one that people usually like the least. And the one I'm talking about is cross-realm flipping and cross-realm

[05:56] crafting. This is going to be the best way that I know of for making gold. I am making ridiculous amount of gold on this per the time I spend. It is really OP, but I know that it is scary for a lot of people, and it is like a territory where

[06:10] they're like not comfortable. And it sounds hard and everything, but there is really easy ways to go about this, and I've been talking a lot about this on my YouTube channel because I think this is

[06:22] the absolute best way of making gold. It is easier than you think. You just need the tools for it, and if you invest a little bit of time, you can get there, and you will be making so much gold. I am currently making around 1 and 1/2

[06:35] million gold profit every week with my cross-realm stuff, and I am only spending about 4 and 1/2 to 5 hours to make that gold right now. But, it's hour because you've had some previous setups, of course, and stuff. It's like

[06:49] very hard. Gold per hours should always be taken with a grain of salt because it is always some underlying work that is not really included in the gold per hours. So, let's not really say a gold per hour, but like it's really really

[07:01] basically what I'm doing is with the help of Adam, I'm sniping for cheap items, buying them on realms where they are cheap, then transferring them in the warband bank to another realm where they are more expensive, and selling them

[07:16] there. Of course, all the items is very slow selling, so it requires a lot of stock of items, but you can start with low gold and work your way up. Then, it's just taking a little bit longer in terms of like time because, yeah, you

[07:30] you will get slow sells, and then you will like gradually increase your gold till you have more. I have a challenge on my video posted already. It's one on my video posted already. It's one video. I turned 99 silver into 1 million

[07:43] gold doing this exact method. I can link that one in the description as well. It's super good. I just highly recommend this and if you check out my previous content on how to do this, I think you can like open up your eyes to this and

[07:55] hopefully make some gold with it. Of course, it is a lot of time like re-posting your auctions cuz what I do is I re-post my auctions every 48 hours. So, I post them, wait 48 hours, and then I re-post them whenever I feel like it

[08:08] or I have time to do it. Of course, then I do it. I never cancel scan, like I never check for undercuts. I just post, let them be. Next time when they have expired, re-post them again. If this is something you not don't like, then of

[08:20] course it's not going to be that fun to do it, right? It's pretty much AFK-able something else at the same time, but yeah, it can sound daunting and going to do it, but it's maybe worth giving it a shot if you want to make a

[08:34] more efficient than a lot of other stuff. And then of course, the cross realm crafting. It's kind of integrated, right? Cuz I have the same characters to sell on where I sell my flipped items and my cross realm crafted items. So,

[08:48] what I do then is I go to some crafting character and for example, I'm crafting the blue gear in tailoring in midnight and posting them on other realms. I other realms and sell them there. This is a great example of items because

[09:03] these basically cost you about four to five gold to craft. It's like two bolts, that's like five gold. So, it's super duper cheap. Like you can sell them for up to like two, three thousand gold on other realms. Some realms the prices are

[09:17] bad, some realms the prices are higher. But this is one way to craft very cheap stuff that still is on the server specific auction house, transfer it to another realm where it's worth more and selling it there. But once again, these

[09:31] when you have enough of these items, you're getting consistent sales and the time input that you have to craft these items, transfer them, post them, and then eventually get some sales is very small compared to like farming, for

[09:47] how you do it, like if you craft one item, put it up on one realm, that would be a lot of time for that one item. But if you craft many items, transfer them, post them, and then like have a system for it, it's really efficient and you're

[10:01] going to make a lot of gold as well. I'm working on a challenge right now for this to show you guys how good this is and that I'm going from very little gold to a high amount of gold once again, and just proving how good it is and why I

[10:14] recommend it so much, cuz this is a real gold mine that a lot of people is sleeping on. And what I can say is not just midnight blue gears that is selling. Everything that is on the specific auction house can make you a

[10:28] ton of gold if you just transfer it to other realms where they sell more. And of course, you need patience for this, because if you expect fast sales, then you're going to fail. But if you realize that slow sales doesn't really

[10:42] hurt you, cuz realistically, if you have an item that you can sell on your realm for 2K, but you can eventually sell it for 30K on another realm, why should you sell it on your realm for 2K and increase the amount of gold in your bag

[10:56] by 2K when you eventually can sell it for 30K on another realm and then cash out 30K instead of 2K? Cuz what is that 2K gold in your bag going to do more than just rotten? Unless, of course, you need that gold for something. But if you

[11:13] hundreds of thousands or millions of gold, usually you don't really need the gold in your bag right now. You can wait, get it later, and get way more for like very little extra time investment. That is something that I'm trying to

[11:28] talk about a lot, like, yes, it can sound scary, can sound hard, can sound annoying to transfer stuff, but guys, it is easy. The time you actually spend per item, if you start putting this in a system, whenever you have many items,

[11:42] it's not really a lot of time spent per item extra, but the gold you can get extra then is insane, and that will in terms like increase your gold per hour, if you want to say so, a lot. So, I'm just emphasizing this a lot lately

[11:56] because this is what I think is the real way of making gold now in this game, house because let's be real, Midnight professions, Blizzard has done stuff to this expansion with the professions that I cannot agree with. They made them very

[12:11] easy, which makes it very hard to make profit with because it's too easy to do them. Barriers to entry is very low, materials needed very low, reduced rank to two ranks of reagent, blah, blah, blah. There is so much to rant about

[12:26] with Midnight's profession, in my opinion, compared to the world we and of in this video. We're going to stay positive and realize that we can still make a lot of gold even though Blizzard make boring decisions. That kind of hurt

[12:40] my favorite part of this game, which is gold making and professions. I love love if you enjoy what I do, please subscribe to the channel, leave a like. Don't want to support your brother a little bit extra, and of course, get a lot of

[12:55] guys, community Discord, of course, in description. Much much love. You are the best, and I will be seeing you in the next video. Goodbye.
