[01:23] by the locals. There is a nearby license plate that reads 463, a reference to Spider-Man number four from 1963, which was the debut of Spider-Man Flint Marco. But even that is a misdirect for the eagle-eyed Marvel nerds looking at

[01:36] Watts trained us to do from Spider-Man Homecoming. Because the monster that attacked this town is not Sandman. It's an elemental illusion created by Quinton Beck, which isn't even his real name in this movie, and his team of former Stark

[01:49] employees operating quote Stark Tech drones. I mean, even Nick Fury and Maria Hill, as we see them in the scene, are lies. They are actually the scrolls Talos and Saurin, which is actually hinted in a line from Maria Hill here.

[02:02] why we're here. >> In the Marvel film that came out earlier in this year, Captain Marvel, Nick Fury clarified that no one calls him Nick. >> Everybody calls me Fury. Not Nicholas, not Joseph, not Nick.

[02:14] in the movie. >> Excellent work, Nicholas. again call him Nick. Now, yes, there are other examples in the MCU of characters

[02:27] Nick Fury by the name of Nick. But in the year 2019, this was very, very specifically Spider-Man Far From Home with these lines is going out of its way Peter will interact with the scroll version of Nick Fury during this film, I

[02:42] that he's dealing with Talos and not Nick Fury. I don't think Peter, Happy Hogan, or anyone else ever finds out about this switcheroo. Talos, of course, will return in the muchbeloved Secret Invasion series, but Saurin is killed

[02:54] offscreen by the scroll known as Gravik. During the events of this film, Talos named Gaia, who will be played by Amelia Clark in Secret Invasion. The Secret Fury's next appearance in the MCU, where we learn he's married to a squirrel

[03:07] named Vara. And following the Endgame final battle, he apparently collected all the DNA of the heroes and villains involved in the fight. Talos and Maria Invasion, which in the case of Maria Hill was some But in this town

[03:35] >> Which is a clue for us because Fury and Talos know that strength truly comes from cooperation, not one man alone trying to fix things. Like you know, Tallows says coach Fury on the whole there was an idea theme from the 2012

[03:48] Avengers and you know Ben Middlesen under disguise is saying hi Nick told me that there was supposed to be an idea. But yes, we are finally seeing Mysterio planned for Bruce Campbell to play

[04:00] Mysterio in his Spider-Man 4 film that was never made, resolving his cameo as three films. You can actually see old storyboard art of Bruce Campbell getting arrested as Mysterio. But from this, we transition into a loi inmemoriam montage

[04:13] Whitney Houston's I will always love you, complete with comic sands font. The tribute features a photo of Tony Stark taking from Iron Man 3 when he met with Neptune's Net in Malibu. And while he's not wearing the exact Edith glasses

[04:28] suddenly reminding the audience that Tony wore this style. Next, we get a from Captain America: The Winter Soldier. The public assumes at this point that Steve is dead even though he's just an old man. So, he is added to

[04:41] this memorial. Though, some do think that he's still alive as walking Torres Soldier asking Sam if he's on a secret base on the moon. We also get a stock photo of Natasha Romanov addressing the UN and a very low res photo of the

[04:53] Vision. Since Far From Home takes place 8 months after Endgame and Wanda Vision happened 3 weeks after Endgame, Vision has already been brought back and then hex collapsed. But the resurrected

[05:06] recovered from Wakanda is now known as White Vision roaming around out there Quest. The Midtown Morning News recaps the events of Thanos's snap, referring to it as the blip. The first time we heard the official nomenclature that the

[05:20] describing the 5 years after Thanos's snap. During the blip recap, we see the moment the marching band undusted and that same court. I love how the basketball gets passed into the tuba and

[05:33] skews the note. Every other time we revisit someone undusting in the MCU, it will be played for horror or tragedy, but here it's Thankfully, Peter quit the band during Homecoming, as we learned from his text

[05:46] involved in these events. Also, you know, Peter did get dusted when he was attending [music] that marching band concert. We see how Peter's foil for this film, Brad Davis, turned into a very mature young man during this blip

[06:00] period. There is a boom in the shot added intentionally. And I love Betty's >> As we draw this year to a close, it's time to move on to a new phase of our lives. >> Yes, a new phase. One of a few nods to

[06:14] Marvel now moving on to phase four. Far From Home is the last film of phase three of the MCU, a kind of epilogue to the Infinity Saga. Following the death of Tony Stark in Endgame, Marvel would continue to use the phase nomenclature

[06:26] with Kevin Feige eventually referring to phases four, five, and six as the deals with the fake multiverse, it's a great transition into an MCU that will become full of multiple universes and timelines. Peter and Ned's classroom is

[06:39] the murals that we see throughout the movie. This whole movie is really a feud over Tony Stark's legacy. Does it go to the beneficiary that he chose or to smarter adults who work their asses off to earn it in their eyes? MJ reminds

[06:52] Peter and Ned to get a VPN so the government can't track them overseas. Wise advice considering Nick Fury is hunting down Peter. Behind MJ noticed a print of the pay the false mirror by Renee McGreet, foreshadowing Mysterio's

[07:04] illusions throughout this film. Some deleted scenes were made into a oneshot on the Far From Home Blu-ray called Peter's to-do list. This saw Peter trip. This included picking up a power converter and a dual headphone adapter

[07:17] from Delmare's 2, the local bodega in Queens, where we get to see Delmare and his cat Murphy again. Peter sells his He-Man figures for some cash to help buy the black Dalia necklace that he does in Venice later in the movie. And he uses

[07:29] suit to help pick up his passport and a fun moment of aliteration. passport, please. >> And actually, on this passport, there are some fun Easter eggs. It reveals his birthday as August 10th, 2001. And

[07:43] August 10th is the day that Amazing Fantasy number 15 first came out. That Spider-Man. And apparently Peter was one month old when 911 happened, leading many over the years to theorize that Peter's parents died in 9/11. And that's

[07:55] heights when he climbed the Washington Monument in Homecoming. I know, I know. It's very, very sad. Also part of this removed sequence, we see Peter taking on the Man Freddy crime family in his Iron Spider suit, webbing them up and turning

[08:07] had also appeared previously in Agent Carter and more recently we saw Silverman in Spider Noir. In the comic, Silver Mane was Sylvio Man Freddy. This awesome. I'm really bummed that they removed it from the film. Then onto the

[08:19] charity event for the Salvation Army to help those replaced by the Blip. Aunt blipped, which is interesting to note. Happy mentions his blip beard that he And in Spider-Man No Way Home, Aunt May will be working with a more comic

[08:33] Army. Happyy's check is from Stark Industries. and notice that it's signed by Pepper Pots, suggesting that the company is still active, just run by CEO turnover in leadership from the earlier Iron Man films. Also visible in this

[08:46] location is an old wrestling poster listing Crusher Hogan, the wrestler that Peter tested his powers against in the comics and Bone Saw McGrath, the Remy by Macho Man Randy Savage. One of the few interesting tie-ins between the MCU

[08:59] and the Remyverse, which of course leads up to Tobey Magcguire appearing in the the fans holds up the photo of Peter coming out of the portaotty, the same one at the news used as a stock photo of him in Homecoming. Peter's phone screen

[09:12] the end of Homecoming, but he's still got some of the webs slinging in him. His suitcase is labeled BFP, belonging to his uncle Ben Franklin Parker. finally give us some insight into what happened to Uncle Ben. It wasn't 9/11.

[09:26] course, the Russo brothers implied it was some accident. Maybe Uncle Ben was just so excited to find out that Navy Seals killed Ben Laden in 2011 that he excitement. Peter wears the same fine exmath joke shirt that he wore in

[09:39] Homecoming and when he was changing into his Spider-Man suit outside of Liz's Piaza Mets pinant up on the wall. Aunt May hits him with a banana. >> Hungry. >> I thought that you could sense that with

[09:53] sense is still recovering from the trauma of sensing his dusting in Avengers Infinity War. The >> start >> Peter's really flying blind, especially vulnerable to the deeper theme of Far

[10:07] From Home, the danger of misperception. Aunt May haunts him with this shame, him to Europe. Peter's Spidey sense slowly returns throughout the movie. In through his mutation or spider puberty, it seems like his senses might be even

[10:21] >> DNA is mutating. That would [music] be enormously dangerous. forcing it to stay on because notice how it is connected to the outlet below that including this generator device that keeps his iron spider suit charged. I

[10:37] dangerous it seems to be as a fire hazard. Aunt May wants Peter to take his that she has a tingle about it. She knows that with great power there must right though. He will need it. On the plane to Venice, Martin Star returns as

[10:52] science trip along with fellow teacher Mr. Dell played by JB Smoo. Mr. Harrington will tell Peter on the flight that his wife pretended to die during her hiking group and that he even had a funeral for her. NJ ends up sitting next

[11:06] to Brad Davis and Ned sits next to Betty leading to their sudden romance. Peter's inflight movie options include some fun Easter eggs. The snap directed by Paul Greengrass suggesting a Captain Phillips or United 93 style take on the events of

[11:20] a Paul Greengrass directing documentaries suggests that there was a United 93 in the MCU and that there was a 9/11 in the MCU and that Peter's another title called Finding Wakanda and another title called Hunting Hydra

[11:34] Criminals and another title called Nova hosted by Thor's favorite astrophysicist and band from Stonehenge, Dr. Eric Selvig. There's also a title called Heart of Iron, the Tony Stark story.

[11:46] Williams, who would follow in Tony Stark's footsteps at MIT briefly and eventually become Iron Hart, as we see in the 2025 Iron Hart series. When Ned plays Beast Slayers, his avatar looks like him, and he wins by using the

[12:00] London, he corrects Happy Hogan regarding the same weapon. Give me the spear. That's a Halbert. [clears throat] That is an awesome detail. The customs agent finds the original Stark Spidey suit

[12:13] that Aunt May packed for Peter along with some extra vials of web fluid, the new batch, and another banana. Or maybe the same banana that she threw at him. hint of Peter becoming the night monkey. In Venice, the kids take a selfie.

[12:28] >> Pizza. >> Pizza time. A nod to Peter Parker as a delivery guy in Rainy Spider-Man 2. This wonderful meme. >> There's also the same masks Peter will use to hide his identity during the

[12:40] water elemental attack. In a recent Brand New Day promo experience that actually a postcard from Venice showing that Peter did take the time to at least Harrington drops his camera in the canal. Actually, the end credits of the

[12:53] movie show the very last photo taken as he dropped it. I love that. MJ takes a is pretty gross. In the Brand New Day trailer, Peter also runs into some pigeons. Peter picks up the glass black Dalia necklace. By the time it gets to

[13:06] will continue to wear that broken necklace both in the final scene of No after her memory of Peter has been wiped away. But this is a part of the movie where we find out that Team Mysterio's deception is everywhere. this crazy

[13:20] I watched this movie and it freaked me out as I sat in the movie theater seat. Jake Gyllenhaal, Quinton Beck, hides in plain sight as a tourist behind Peter just barely turning his head. And then later as Peter and MJ are walking around

[13:32] coming off of the dock is Gutterman aka Goots. He doesn't have to be in disguise just assume this is just a random guy that the camera lingers on for a little bit too long. So the water elemental attacks. Mysterio's water monster rises

[13:45] from drones in the canals. These are actually drones traveling through the water, and you can actually see the twin wakes left by their propulsion systems, in fact drones. Mysterio himself first appears literally out of thin air since

[13:58] this appearance is really just a projection from holograms. Now, Peter is telling Ned that his suit is back in the room since he's on vacation. But he did placing one on his right wrist, and then banging his wrist together to activate

[14:12] the organic webbing that he's getting in Spider-Man Brandy Day is going to come in handy. He fires a web at the creature, but it passes right through. but really it's just because it's just some drones making a projection. Peter

[14:25] gets soaked, but the drones really were just using their sonic cannons to propel him back and spray him with water. After some hilarious physical comedy from Tom Buster Katon and Charlie Chaplan smacking into this ancient bell twice,

[14:40] collapse, just not on the orphanage, property damage that the DODC is going to nail him for in Spider-Man No Way report later, Flash Thompson says >> Buzzfeed says there's a sailor named

[14:54] experimental underwater generator and got hydro powers. Ah, Morris Bench is the name of Spidey villain Hydroman in the comics. It's crazy that this movie for characters that are not actually in the movie. The news crawl reads, "If you

[15:08] look closely, the creature made of water emerges from the Grand Canal and underneath that, it reads, "Bursts of energy before vanishing into thin air." the energy signatures just before the elementals arrive. Mr. Dell tells Mr.

[15:22] Harrington that as a man of science, he believes witches are behind this. Maybe he read about what happened in Westview. But yes, witches do exist in the MCU as we find out about the full witch lore in Agatha all along that there are witches

[15:34] Peter tells Aunt May that they want to asks if the guy he was with is Mr. Strange, but Peter corrects her that the Peter was a big fan of Doctor Strange, which makes sense why he turns to him

[15:47] and Spider-Man No Way Home. We see that Happy Hogan is volunteering with Aunt of summer fling. Thanks to Mint Mobile for sponsoring today's video. I get it. You've got questions about Mint Mobile. Don't worry, we've got easy answers. How

[19:13] Sony Spidey villain verse in Craven. Fury aka Talos drops another clue about his off-world origin. >> Mr. Beck is from Earth, just not yours. >> Ah, this audio was changed from ours that we heard in promotional footage

[19:27] where Nick Fury walks off of camera and he says, "Just not ours." In the >> Beck is from Earth, just not ours. >> But in this movie, he says, "Just not marketing to preserve this whole mystery of Quinton Beck coming from the

[19:40] final cut of the film to include this little detail of this Fury actually Earth. Quinton Beck says, >> "This is Earth, dimension 616. I'm from Earth 833." >> Earth 833 in the comics universe is the

[19:53] battles in London in the final act. But this is the first time we had heard 616 brought up in any Marvel movie. At this point, the designation of the MCU was this point had considered it Earth

[20:06] 999999999 59's which is based on a throwaway comic from Kevin Feige in an interview in an old Marvel reference book from 2008. But the Loki series and Madness would officially label the MCU as we have known it as Earth 616. Much

[20:20] Marvel comics fans, specifically Iman Volani. So how did Gutman, who wrote Mysterio's backstory in the universe of this movie, manage to nail the cosmic label for the MCU? Perhaps it was just cosmic inspiration. Or maybe Gutterman

[20:34] is secretly an agent of the TVA or some TVA agent gave him the idea. Either way, multiverse is real. While Beck is lying Spider-Man No Way Home when Doctor Strange confirms the multiverse is real.

[20:46] >> The multiverse is a concept about which we know frighteningly little. >> The hollow projection forms a specific halo shape around Quinton Beck's head, much like his fishbowl style helmet. They also show mythological figures from

[21:00] real human history that Beck says the elementals were based on the way Thor again, Beck's story is complete but these real mythological Eternals, who we learned were responsible for many of the myths that

[21:13] humanity would tell. The elementals in this movie do resemble much of the like how the elementals combine at the end of the movie, the elementals of Doom could combine to form the Ele. Despite the name, they are not agents of Dr.

[21:26] Doom, but rather summoned by Diablo. When Peter tries to tell Talos Fury that Spider-Man and not cut out for this assignment, Talis Fury rebuttals with, >> "Bitch, please. You've been to space." >> In No Way Home, Peter 2 and Peter 3 will

[21:38] been to space. Peter asks about Thor, actually hanging with the Guardians of the Galaxy currently. Maria Hill aka unavailable. Though, I wonder if these scrolls have no idea how to contact

[21:51] Doctor Strange. When Peter mentions Captain Marvel, Talis Fury says, of reverence for Captain Marvel for saving his family along with other went back to Hala and destroyed the Supreme Intelligence. Yes, that war

[22:04] crime that I talked about in videos in 2023. Maybe she just kind of has a dirty point in history. Peter checks on Ned the next morning and they do their in all three films. Maybe Ned will subconsciously remember this handshake

[22:18] reconnect in Brand New Day cuz muscle memory defies all magic. The Venice street names are actually nods to Spider-Man comics writers and artists. Prochia de Gi Konvio is for Jerry Conway who gave us among many story lines the

[22:32] death of Gwen Stacy story line. BM Bendisto is for Brian Michael Bendis the co-creator of Miles Morales. D Mich Mishlino is for David Michani the co-creator of Venom. Campo de R Sterno is for Roger Stern creator of Hobgoblin.

[22:47] And Cay de Sloto is for Spider-Man writer Dan Slott. As the group gets romantic places throughout the city, trying to still follow his plans to get closer to MJ. His screen isn't cracked here. Maybe he got a new phone for the

[23:01] trip. He has a missed call in a voicemail, probably from Nick Fury, aka Talos. Peter puts on Tony's glasses, similar frames to the ones he wore in glasses in Captain America: Civil War, which Tony had connected to Friday in

[23:14] that movie. Peter links with Edith, even dead I'm the hero. Another example of Peter flying blind wants the insight Tony Stark had, but he's not yet proven himself to inherit it. The Edith AI in this movie is voiced by Don Michelle

[23:28] King, actually an editor on a few MCU movies, including Spider-Man Far From Vision Quest series played by Emily Hampshire from Shitz Greek. Though Edith and other Stark tech will eventually be turned over to the DODC, we know from

[23:41] Day that were released by Destin Daniel that Peter will design his own AI assistant named EV. A lot of fun on-screen visual details hidden here. Edith shows Peter how Mr. Dell is looking up witchcraft after suspecting

[23:55] the film. We see that Mr. Harrington is texting someone. Finally, some good luck. Then another student is texting his mom for more money. And then we see how Demetrius is encrypted. And we see that Brad is searching for romantic

[24:09] spots in Prague just like Peter was doing. And sadly, we see that Flash has parents. At the end of the movie, they don't pick him up from the airport. We but really, I think it's just that the kid is rich and his parents hate him.

[24:22] Flash is all over his phone, posting to social media throughout the trip, Spider-Man Brand New Day, which is how Peter keeps track of them at MIT. Perhaps by losing his best friend, Peter. By the end of No Way Home, Ned

[24:34] for a best friend somewhere out there that he doesn't even know exists. Peter describes as he's >> a little tight around the old web >> Since this suit came from Fury, who's actually Talos, and that whole unit was

[24:48] possible that Mysterio could have corrupted the suit to make Peter easier to manipulate. With it being a stealth one, it certainly sets up Mysterio to be point to. But Peter has to lose his suit to make his own new suit to defeat

[25:01] whole thing of this attractive woman making this teenage boy strip down as Brad Davis walks in and uses that as leverage to talk about Peter to MJ joke with Peter just caught with his clothes off as we saw in Spider-Man

[25:15] Spider-Man No Way Home with Peter in this kind of position with MJ. And it rumor has it that there's going to be a similar scene with Peter and Yolena Bova trying to cover this up, Peter mistakenly launches a drone to kill Brad

[25:31] >> Initiating what now? >> This drone looks like the ones used by were the designers behind that tech for Stark. Flash pulls the glasses off much Peter paid for them. Flash and Tony Stark both have expensive tastes. When

[25:46] Peter takes the glasses back, he accidentally knocks Flash the out. Peter is incredibly strong and it's often pointed out in the comics how punches so as to not kill his opponents.

[25:58] to not pulling his punches anymore when things got dark in that dark rooftop When Peter distracts the bus away from him, jumping up to take out the drone. MJ hasn't leaned over to the window if you look closely. So Peter would be in

[26:12] her direct ey line and her suspicious eye is directly on him when he lands. He grenade past it, shooting off from a cliff to yank that drone back onto Prague where Quinton Beck gives Peter a rooftop heart to heart as Tony did for

[26:26] those Stark legacy frames with him. back to his teenage life with MJ offering to share opera binoculars with enough to the stage to need them. But getting back to that rooftop

[26:39] conversation, was that entire conversation with Quinton a projection? because they never touch and Mysterio starts the conversation by flying up to the roof since Peter's Spidey sense is on the fritz. He might not notice that

[26:51] of them never touch. I think it was actually a projection that flew up to was just standing behind Peter on the rooftop and just happened to sit down with perfect timing. But outside the opera house, Mysterio's fire elemental

[27:04] ferris wheel where Ned comes up with the name Night Monkey, saying it's a European ripoff of Spider-Man. As Peter lands on the carousel, here is a detail video. I swear to God, I never saw this and I don't think anyone else has

[27:18] background, you could totally see William Ginter Reva at a laptop running this whole drone program. It honestly creeped me and Brandon out even spotting this, but he is there. Fury and Hill

[27:31] drive up in a car with the license plate ASM28965. It's a nod to The Amazing Spider-Man released in September 1965, the debut of Molten Man. Mysterio is not expecting them to roll up so soon. So, when they

[27:43] pass in front of Beck's laser, notice how little bullet holes appear in the windshield since the drones are actually using bullets and pulse blasts to create that damage. Peter webs one of the stealth drones while trying to reach the

[27:55] ferris wheel, pulling off the piece that MJ will find later. Mysterio fakes a dramatic sacrifice right in front of Peter, making a power up and a snap gesture, recreating Tony's I am Iron Man moment. Then onto this bar where

[28:08] everything is revealed. Actually, the whole bar is set up to deceive Peter. If establishing shot, you could see William Ginterba peering out at camera from under the taps of the bar. Like, if you happen to be looking in that corner and

[28:21] remembered actor Peter Billingsley from Iron Man, you'd already be like, "Wait a after being up in that window, Reva just kind of walked downstairs and sat in this bar. The music we hear in this bar is Town Called Malice by The Jam. The

[28:34] opportunity, being stuck in a bad place instead of living the life you want, up instead of living his desired life as a teenager. Team Mysterio strategically placed military medals and a photo of glasses right over Beck's shoulder to

[28:48] subliminally trick Peter into seeing Beck as the noble soldier who deserves the Edith glasses. Another team member pickpockets Peter to make Peter think >> Oh my god, thank you so much. >> What are those? Are those the

[29:01] >> they were just on the floor. this person was actually a member of Beck's team dressed in the traditional check garb while all the other people in the bar really selling the illusion. So Beck by saying they were just on the floor is

[29:13] just some kind of mind games to make Peter feel guilty and careless and carrying these. So now when Peter tries the glasses on, Beck tells Peter that Tony Stark, so of course he hates how the glasses look, but he's trying to

[29:27] So, Peter ultimately decides to hand over the glasses to Quinton Beck and stupidly walks out of the bar. And in this big moment, Jake Gyllenhaal turns whole thing was an elaborate trap. In this insane confession, we find out that

[29:42] Quinton Beck was the inventor of barf, binary augmented retro framing. And we flash back to Civil War where Tony Stark described it as an extremely costly method of hijacking the hippo campus. >> Yes, it hijacks the brain, justifying

[29:55] learned that William Ginter Reva developed these drones for Tony Stark and was the infamous employee who Obadiah Stain pointed out during his box of scraps rant. Well, I'm sorry. >> And yes, that is Ralphie Parker from A

[30:08] of John Fabro. We find out that Gutterman was the one who wrote the Beck, who points out that following the events of Thanos in the blip, the world just would believe anything right now. >> Story you created of a soldier from

[30:21] space monsters in Europe is totally ridiculous. Yeah. Based on what he says Quinton Beck might not even be this guy's real name. He says Gutterman another Earth named Quinton. So, in the end, we don't even know who Quinton Beck

[30:37] able to get close to Fury since they couldn't do a background check on him. We find out it was Victoria who created the electromagnetic pulses at all of the elemental attack sites to fool Fury satellites and Janice was one who

[30:49] in Tony Stark's will. So, this whole script of European elemental attacks was designed around Peter's trip to Europe, presumably away from all the other known heroes in the MCU as well, since most of them are based in the US. Part of the

[31:02] agenda was to isolate this kid. Beck and his crew are mad that Edith and all of the defense department. However, between this film and No Way Home, the DODC will take back all of the Stark tech into their control. In a way, Mysterio wins.

[31:15] In the series Ms. Marvel, we see the DODC using these drones and other Stark tech to try to stop Kamala Khan. And we see how the DODC plans to continue to beyond, possibly to hunt down and contain mutants. Team Mysterio's victory

[31:28] plays out over a vigil mural of Iron Man with Tony Stark's face inlaid inside. A man inside. And Peter just handed off that legacy to the worst person. MJ Spider-Man by just being perceptive about his movements and odd

[31:42] >> MJ I am Spider-Man. >> What? by Peter putting himself near Ned and MJ again in Brand New Day. She's likely to figure it out again before the piece of the drone she found, it projects the wind elemental, the tornado

[31:55] the opening scene of the film. After Peter reveals himself to MJ, the camera pans around to reveal Ned shocked in the corner. Just like the gag in Homecoming when Ned found out about Peter and dropped the Lego Death Star, we see Beck

[32:08] this group is essentially a filmmaking crew. Beck is the lead actor and of the cinematographer and visual effects artist. Goots is obviously the screenwriter. Victoria stages electrical impulses in specific areas to trick

[32:22] satellites. So, she's kind of like the location manager. Janice is the wardrobe the AMC or Regal or Cinemark who you actually have to pay to see it. Actually, I like this detail that Beck's base of operations is an old theater

[32:34] they're staging. You can actually see a model of Venice in the background as London, the site of the final battle of this film. Ned actually has a photo of the tower bridge up on his spider tracker in Brand New Day. Beck stresses

[32:47] piece. He notes that he has to fool Nick Fury, the most paranoid person on the on the planet. And Beck only needs to fool Talos Fury. Beck notes. him, then he will put a bullet in my head. And nobody wants a bullet in their

[33:01] >> Yes, Beck will try to put a bullet in Peter Parker's head in this movie. Fury Peter Parker's head in this movie. Fury picks up Peter in a car tagged MTU83779, a Natu Marvel Team Up issue 83, released in July 1979, which teams up Nick Fury

[33:14] and Peter Parker. But it's another lie. In fact, all of this is a Mysterio break down all of the fakery. It actually starts from the very beginning time, right from the moment he picks up Peter in the car. Mysterio fakes the

[33:28] entire Europole headquarters inside and out, complete with random people walking around and a fake Maria Hill. The visual effects team at Frametor actually created three layers for this entire sequence. The base reality, the

[33:41] Europal, and the illusion layer of Peter's nightmare imagery. And all of these layers had to be linked so the geography would stay consistent with the walls that Peter would crash through. Notice how the fake Maria Hill stops

[33:54] projection piece from the drone. Likely because Beck's team hadn't planned for this and no longer had any scripted responses for the fake Maria Hill. Peter's Spidey sense finally begins to return. The camera dollies around him

[34:07] and he starts to sense that Mysterio is there. Mysterio includes the detail of fake Fury reacting to Hill being an illusion. That's just another layer to this. All to trick Peter into later trusting Fake Fury as not being part of

[34:19] creatively projects Peter back into his high school in his past suit, triggering with avenging. This is all shaded like a horror nightmare with flickering lights, lockers just left open. Peter punches the wall where he thinks Mysterio is,

[34:34] cracking it, which the VFX artist based on the Truman show. When Truman crashes into the wall that he thought was the sky, Mysterio uses Peter's Eiffel Tower MJ plan against him here, tricking him into diving into a shallower drop than

[34:47] he thought it actually was. Then Peter, as if on a bullet train, zips over to Queens. A threat by Mysterio that their next target could be his home Mysterio fist that knocks Peter off the construction site was likely one of the

[35:00] used in the Tower Bridge fight. Peter touches the mirror and then gets stuck to it, which the VFX team based on the Matrix, similar to the Spider-Man clones dogpiling on him, like the Agent Smith clones on Neo in the Matrix Reloaded.

[35:13] dimension, and Peter will actually visit the mirror dimension in Spider-Man No crumbled statues that are the four Avengers who died or retired during America Steve Rogers crumbled on the ground beside Peter and Peter stands on

[35:27] his shield. Black Widow and Vision are still standing. Tony Stark's head is on standing in his gauntlet is outstretched. The large statue of Mysterio towers over them all as a replacement for the Avengers. Then

[35:39] Peter's at Tony Stark's grave, triggering his survivors guilt. an Iron Man zombie crawls toward him, like the legless Ultron Century or something out actual zombie Iron Man in the What If series, which is the same part of the

[35:51] continuity as the Marvel Zombies animated series. Now Peter's inside of a Tower, and the pile of snow is actually a pile of gravel in the construction with smoke, the look of which is actually inspired by the prophecy orbs

[36:05] Phoenix. Beck fakes his death to continue selling the illusion. Then behind Fake Fury, the SWAT officers are frozen. Parts of the illusion. The truth hits Peter like a train. This time a literal train. Another detail that Peter

[36:18] was earlier primed to see as just an illusion. Yes, Mysterio has messed him up with layer after layer after layer of second-guessing the fakery. And because full power, he has no warning about the train. We actually see a similar shot in

[36:31] the Punishers van. We do get this fun moment of Holland in Holland as Peter fraternizes with some very friendly Dutch orangeclad football fans and walk right out of that prison cell, but his disorientation lasts through him

[36:45] >> Yeah, it kind of seems like these vibrant tulips are further throwing Instagram feed shows that his account name is Spidey number one fan and most of his followers are bots, suggesting that the dude buys his followers. We get

[36:59] with Peter and Happy Hogan where Happy finally restores to Peter what is real fabricator on the back of the jet to 3D print a new suit. In addition to the there's some fun Easter eggs here. Some alternate designs include the Spider

[37:13] Armor Mark1 on the far left and the Superior Spider-Man suit that's second suit and the Iron Spider suit from Infinity War and Endgame and the Secret makes his new suit from what looks like designs for the Spider Armor Mark II

[37:27] from the comics and then Spider Armor Mark III on back left. Yeah. Notice that storage that his past suit has. That kind of leads to him running out of webbing in London. Peter will do his best with limited resources to recreate

[37:39] Brand New Day. As we saw in a recent promo that recreated his apartment for the film, Peter reaches into the hollow gauntlet just like Tony did in Iron Man, which reminds Happy of Tony Stark, and he plays the song that we heard in the

[37:52] first Iron Man film, Back in Black by Led Zeppel. I mean, AC/DC. Actually, mistakes in recent videos just to drive people crazy in the comments. And notice what Happy does to even open this lab. He uses his pinky and his thumb making a

[38:06] kind of Spider-Man webser gesture. We get another scroll clue here. I thought information. >> Cre sleeper cells would be a concern of their lifelong enemies, the squirrel. And one final clue comes later.

[38:19] >> Appearances can be deceiving. >> Yes. Setting up the postredit reveal of a car tagged H&M62011. Hawkeye and mockingb bird number six released in 2011 which revealed a scroll posing as Fury. We actually learned in

[38:32] agent number 19 also known as mockingb bird. The agents of shield series also But when Brad tries to out the truth of Peter to the class, MJ quotes George >> very concept of objective truth is fading out of the world.

[38:46] exploiting and what Peter will exploit with a memory wiping spell in No Way the class. As they arrive in London, Beck runs the program from the Tower comic accurate Mysterio. When Happy tells Talis Fury with a coded message to

[39:02] surfboard. There's actually a theory for a while that Happy knew Talis was impersonating Fury because when Talis first arrived on Earth, he shapeshift out not to be true and it was just a coincidence. Peter rides in on the

[39:14] outside of Happyy's jet, a little more confident than riding on the plane in Homecoming. After increasing his taser web voltage, Peter uses the function to After taking out more with a cool flip, Peter gets hit with the sonic cannons,

[39:26] confirmed as the same tech from the Stark designed sonic cannons used on armor in Civil War. The sonic cannons the DODC takes over the Stark tech. On the bridge, you see this car tagged M95

[39:40] XLV, Roman numeral for 45, and the astonishing Spider-Man number 45 released in 1995 was the debut of She Venom. The postredit scene of No Way Home did see a little Venom Goo left behind in the MCU. A drone chases the

[39:52] others into the Tower of London noticed its thermal scanner TML is inactive explaining why it was not able to detect their body heat. Peter uses the bridge piece, flinging it up. Similar to Captain America in Endgame, holding his

[40:07] shield while swinging Molir by the strap at Thanos, Peter rediscovers his tingle, blindfolding himself to trust his instincts and break through Mysterio's >> Why aren't these drones firing? >> You're in the strike zone. The chance

[40:19] causes him to get hit. But otherwise, he wasn't in their strike zone. Really, He was actually much closer to Peter within the line of fire. Edith's warning was a clue that this Beck was another projection. Beck points the glasses at

[40:33] Peter like a gun, his finger around the trigger. But with Peter's Spidey sense illusion and prevent Beck from shooting him in the head. Peter also learned this from the fight with Vulture did not let a villain's monologuing distract you in

[40:46] Beck even though he couldn't see him. Something Treal Tilman's character, William Mezer, will recruit Spider-Man for in Brand New Day. >> It appears we're faced with a threat we can't control. One we can't even see.

[40:58] Beck's final words are haunting. >> People seem to believe and nowadays they >> And Peter never gets literal confirmation that Beck is dead. >> All illusions are down, Peter. >> Yes, very poor phrasing of the question

[41:11] by Peter. As we see in Spider-Man No Way Home, many people will continue to see hero Mysterio. A mistrust that will be stoked by the reporting of Jonah and some of the citizens of New York always existed in the comics. And it's possible

[41:24] Spider-Man in Brand New Day. Whether or not the truth about Mysterio was ever objective truth is fasting from the world. For all we know, the rest of captured. And Quinton Beck, or whatever his real name is, could still be out

[41:39] there somewhere. Peter kisses MJ beside an upside down Mercedes tagged TSAM43. 143, which featured Peter's kiss with MJ. The car being inverted could be a Magguire Peter and MJ. MJ reveals Happy gave her the broken black Dollia

[41:54] in Brand New Day. evidence that despite the memory wiping spell, she knows deep the final montage, Peter glides through a new atrium constructed into Avengers Avengers Tower because it's right next to Grand Central Station. We don't know

[42:08] part of a reconstruction of the building into the Watchtower in Thunderbolts and Avengers Doomsday because we haven't seen this atrium level since. So maybe level, there's this barrier wall that reads, "We are so excited to show you

[42:20] showing numbers 1, 2, and three, and then a question mark with the four likely referring to phase 4, not Fantastic 4, unfortunately. Peter swings something he'll do again in Brand New Day, only this time she won't know who's

[42:33] under the mask. And we move on to a postredit scene where Jane Jonah Jameson appears, played again by JK Simmons, as he was in the Remy movies. The Daily Bugle is now an infowar style conspiracy show airing Mysterio Doctor footage

[42:45] framing and outing Peter. >> Spider-Man's name is Peter Parker. >> Yes, calling back Aunt May's final line in Homecoming. >> though? Infowars is now a parody of itself thanks to being taken over by The

[42:58] comicbook.com that he will not be returning in Brand New Day, saying, "Not internet decided that that was fact, but I ain't in it." Which would make sense Peter Parker will have anything to do with the Daily Bugle, at least not yet.

[43:11] Then there's a postredit scene that reveals Talos and Saurin posing as Fury and Hill. They call the real Nick Fury, who's on the saber space station that we his shoes. One of the darker endings of the Infinity Saga. Peter overcomes

[43:23] Mysterio to regain his tingle and inherit Tony's vision, but misperception live in a world of false narratives in which privacy is a thing of the past. to trust in his fight sense and the assurance that he doesn't have to jump

[43:36] immediate moment. While he will encounter threats, he knows that he can the right decisions to protect the people he loves and the innocent doesn't even have to wait for a senior hero to tell him what to do. He can make
