Healing is HARDER in Midnight! Here's why.
53sThis segment highlights a controversial game design shift that will affect all healers, generating discussion and concern.

This video covers major changes to Preservation Evoker healing in the World of Warcraft Midnight pre-patch, including talent reworks, hero talent adjustments, and new spell mechanics. The creator shares insights from beta testing, discusses what to expect in terms of difficulty, and offers build recommendations for Mythic Plus and Raid.
Healing is harder in Midnight: more damage over time, less bursty. Players need to use their whole kit more and be smarter about resource management.
Lifebind no longer works through Echo. New version lasts 8 seconds and transfers 60% healing, but can only be applied to you and one or two others depending on talents.
Spirit Bloom is gone. Dream Breath now functions as a big burst heal, especially when fully charged, and its range increased to 40 yards.
Empowered spells are 10% more effective, and while charging a healing empowered spell, you cannot be knocked back. Considered a must-pick.
Rewind now has a 2-minute cooldown, making it more available for emergency healing.
After popping a major cooldown, healing over time is increased by 60% and Living Flame/Reversion have 100% increased chance to trigger Essence Burst.
Choose between a second charge of Verdant Embrace or 30% more healing without the dash. Both are viable depending on playstyle.
The heal-over-time effect previously on Spirit Bloom now applies to Verdant Embrace, making it a powerful single-target heal.
Preservation Evoker lost its interrupt (Inner Radiance replaced). New talents include Scintillation, Stretch Time, and Strike from Above.
Flame Shaper hero talents reworked. Now focuses on extra charges of Dream Breath and Fire Breath, with Essence Burst generation and bouncing healing effects.
New Flame Shaper is very strong; provides two charges of Dream Breath and Fire Breath, and generates Essence Burst often. Consume Flame reworked to detonate Dream Breath on targets healed by Verdant Embrace or Emerald Blossom.
Chrono Warden remains smooth and adaptable for classic preservation gameplay, with talents like Nozdormu's Adept reducing temporal anomaly cooldown and mana cost.
A typical M+ setup includes tier set, Font of Magic, and careful balancing of talents. Creator recommends stasis for dungeons.
A reversion-focused build may be viable, using the talent that reverses 2% of damage taken into healing. Requires high critical strike to extend reversions.
The Midnight pre-patch brings significant changes to Preservation Evoker, making healing more challenging but rewarding. Players should prepare for a learning curve and explore the new hero talents to find their preferred playstyle.

28:53[00:02] and there's a lot changing for preservation. I do plan on making my typical full guide. However, given how much tuning we might receive between now and then, I decided that a pre- patch video just kind of going over what to
[00:14] expect would probably be a better plan. There are going to be changes to the way healing works, spells that have been removed, reworked talents, and more. And about Mythic Plus and Raid. My name is Bowser the healer and let's dive right
[00:28] into it. Uh but before we dive in, uh please subscribe by the way if you like this kind of content. This is my full-time job and the support has been incredible. Thank you all so so much. Let's get this one out of the way. I
[00:41] to give you about prepatch, especially if you haven't been following along with things first, healing is harder going into midnight. Now, I don't know how that's going to look for the War Within
[00:54] pre- patch, but for Midnight, it's not only are healers nerfed to a degree, but also so is the dungeon damage. It's now going to be a little bit more overtime and a little less bursty all things considered. Having played the beta, I
[01:07] can 100% tell you right now, it is quite fun to play. I really like healing. The best way to describe it across all of the healers I've played is that you need to use your whole kit a lot more often and be smarter about your healing or you
[01:20] end up burning out of resources. You you run out of gas essentially. So whether that's your mana bar or whether that's having not enough cooldowns or you just enough. You probably did something wrong in your process or could have played
[01:34] more effectively. It's not a bad feeling and healing people up while it does take a little bit longer does feel incredibly gratifying. So, no concerns there. However, that's for Midnight. I have no idea how that's going to look in the War
[01:49] Within. If pre- patch is coming and we get all of the changes coming to Midnight, maybe even the stat squish or maybe they just start with the talents. Who knows? Um there's a chance that dungeons are like way harder. Raid is
[02:01] much harder. You might find people are dying left and right to stuff that they were clearing with no problem the week before. Just kind of be prepared for things to be a little bit harder and things to maybe be a little buggy or
[02:13] completely broken as of the first week or two. However, also note that pre- long that I expect there's going to be a lot of tuning that comes through that really makes things feel better. So, I wouldn't like count it out immediately.
[02:26] I just like everyone to be prepared for what might be in store for them. Let's start with some of the harder things to hear and I'll walk you through those talent trees. I'm going to break your heart. Here's my claws if you need to
[02:40] hold on to them. Lifebind no longer works through Echko and Spirit Bloom has been removed from the game. Now, don't go to the comment sections immediately. every season, I like to do a couple of runs with no lifebind because players
[02:55] lifebind to heal on preservation. and preservation has been so strong you really haven't actually needed lifebind until you're doing world record level content, mythic rating and at a very high level, etc. You can get away
[03:08] without lifbind. The new lifebind is stronger, by the way. It now lasts 8 seconds and transfers 60% of healing. However, because it no longer goes through eko, you can only get it on you and one other target or you and two
[03:22] other targets depending on if you take one of our new talents. I know that's a bit of a bummer, but I promise you, Lifbine still does something for you. It's still very useful and you never needed to over rely on it. Also, flame
[03:34] reworked. So, if you're worried about your engulf setups, they're dead anyway. So, you're not going to be relying on lifebind to do a lot of your healing good amount of lifebind healing out though because of the way the new flame
[03:48] shaper works, but we'll get to that in a little bit. Now, for all of you dooming about spirit bloom, this is going to hurt. Here's my claws again if you would like to hold them. You don't need it. Spirit bloom is a very powerful heal.
[04:01] And it's such a powerful heal that dream Breath has been not useless, but kind of worthless outside of raid engulf setups or as just an extra sort of blanket heal to help you out in mythic plus and get a couple of chronoff flames out. It really
[04:15] hasn't been spectacular for a minute. So, here's what's changed. With spirit significantly stronger, as well as our living flame and our verdant embrace, etc. But dream breath, if you charge it all the way up, is very much a spirit
[04:31] bloom style big bursty heal. It doesn't bounce around, but it does do quite a lot of healing inside of that cone and for any targets echoed. Furthermore, um, and I can't believe they made this change, Dream Breath is now 40 yards.
[04:45] Granted, the rest of our kit is still range limited. This means that it's really easy to throw a temporal anomaly through a couple of people in Turbo Narnia and still hit them with the dream breath. So, that's a great feeling. Just
[04:58] to heal over time or do I want to burst heal? And all of the talents that seem to affect spirit bloom, or rather the one I'm really thinking of here, now dream breath being a 30-second, it now can get the 10se secondond cooldown
[05:12] reduction from spiritual clarity. So, great change there. And because there's a lot more talent support for dream breath, I think you're going to find just have to think a little bit more about aiming a cone or how you're going
[05:27] to use your dream breath rather than having 10,000 tools for the job like you start going through them. I just want to note Justin time is here. You have a second charge of time dilation. Some of you might have missed that this was
[05:42] added if you're coming in a little bit later. We are losing defensives. Like called in the game a little bit to make survivability a little slightly more uniform. Not completely uniform, but
[05:54] more uniform. This is one of the most busted talents in the game. So if you're missing our defenses that have gone away, remember you can grab another one right here. But also new to this side of the tree, or rather this this layer of
[06:07] the tree, unshakable is now up here. Your empowered spells are 10% more effective. And while charging a healing empowered spell, you cannot be knocked back. Unbelievably powerful, very fun to use, and it's basically a must pick up
[06:20] on your way down. Very easy to get. You'll notice Emerald Communion is gone. Emerald Communion has died. Call of Yera has been reworked. It is no longer requiring you to press verdant embrace. I'm the happiest person in the world, as
[06:33] something that I thoroughly enjoyed. And now you're just going to have a stronger means that your verdant embrace is free to just be a heal. And trust me, there's a lot of reasons to use it as just a heal now. So, I think this is a very
[06:47] good change on this side of the tree. Grace period, your healing uh is increased by 10% on targets with a reversion. I haven't tested if the 20% healing increase by having two reversions does work on a target, but my
[07:00] assumption is that it still works. It's just easier to pick up. So, grace period's basically always going to be online. I'm very, very happy about this change. Um, you can now make rewind to two-minute, which is pretty awesome.
[07:12] Just right, just a two-minute rewind. Now, rewind's already a button I don't hit all that often unless I absolutely need it. So, I still might not be think I'll get the value out of it in a dungeon. However, I'm happy that it's
[07:26] this is going to be a good one. Absolutely new is inner flame. After you pop your major cooldown, for the next 15 or 20 seconds, depending on your major cooldown that you've selected, your healing over time is increased by 60% in
[07:39] living flame and reversion have a 100% increased chance to cause an essence burst. My oh my, will that make ramping inner flame is going to actually allow for a lot of raiding builds. I don't
[07:53] plan on taking this in dungeons, but in terms of the raiding side of the world, this one's going to be pretty powerful. Also, um they did rework life force mener. It's no longer based on bonus stamina or stamina. It's just that your
[08:06] red uh spells deal 40% additional damage and healing, which I believe does affect course your chronof flames and living flame. So, this is better. And then life spark hasn't changed. This is still instant cast living flame. We love it.
[08:20] talents. Also, these are our apex talents. I have them full for a reason and we'll be talking about that in a little bit. I'm not going over them too much today. This will be for a midnight video later. Um, down here you're going
[08:34] liberty. Either get a second charge of your verdant embrace or you can have 30% more healing and it's no longer a spell that will dash you across the room. I
[08:46] have died now because I have both expected to jump and didn't jump and didn't expect to jump and jumped. So, just your mileage will vary with these. recommend that maybe Verden Embrace changes between a ranged and a jump
[09:00] spell and then we can pick between 30% stronger or an additional charge, but it is what it is. I actually like both of these. There's a reason to run both of for you chrono enjoyers that your reverberation heal over time that used
[09:14] to be on spirit bloom now affects your verdant embrace. So, this is a really powerful healover time and you're going to like having it. So, I highly recommend that you use it. um if you want to play into that fantasy. However,
[09:27] if you want to ditch it, Verden Embrace is pretty strong on its own still, so talents. Titan's Gift is stronger now that it's at the bottom of the tree. effectiveness of your next essence ability by 35%. Blossoms still don't
[09:41] healing. So, even with a fully stacked Oraos essence burst, Blossom, it didn't feel like it was that good of a heal. That being said, those much stronger echoes and the stronger disintegrates go a pretty long way. I'm very happy about
[09:55] this talent. This is mostly going to be for blossom players in raid. Um, and our new tier set in midnight currently, as of recording this video, drops a blossom there's this this might be really nice for the tier set, but casting emerald
[10:08] blossom causes your next echo on an ally to uh copy onto another one 100% effectiveness within 25 yards. So essentially, drop a blossom, two echoes will appear instead of one. Great. We'll never stack on the same target. It'll
[10:22] just find a new target for a stronger echo. Tempo charged is a new talent. Bronze healing and absorption is increased by 15%. From my limited testing, this I feel affects chronofflame healing, reversion ticks. I
[10:38] don't know if it affects time over need. I feel like it might, but that's really, really, really hard to test. And I don't know if it affects your final stasis output either. That's also very hard to test. However, this does make your
[10:51] reversion heals, like I said, and when you combine this with other effects, like for instance, your echo is 10% more effective over here in Chrono Warden. effect happens and you end up getting some unbelievably powerful um echoes out
[11:06] and temporal anomalies. And I think this is a really good talent. Um and you're going to see me running it on a lot of my Chrono Warden builds. So happy to see this here. Now, before I go over and talk about the cool changes to the
[11:18] evoker tree, I'm going to hurt you again. Here's my claw if you need it one talents filled out is that we're going to be losing some talent points. We get four new talent points, but the gates uh have changed, I believe. And even if
[11:31] they haven't, it's hard to grab everything when you're level um 80. When you're level 90 and you get these extra talent points, I can go, you know what? I don't want this Maritha's blessing. Mithra's blessing top. Um, I've been
[11:43] calling them top, middle, and bottom. Um, but no, I'll I'll grab like this and this and like that's a really cool idea. I'm happy that you can uh like do something like this with your build and make something really powerful. Um,
[11:55] Apex talents filled out. You're going to have to make some hard decisions in this pre- patch period. But remember, you're going to easily be able to move two, if not four extra talent points around your tree if you don't wish to go for the
[12:08] apex talents, which there is a world where you maybe don't grab your apex talents or maybe you just grab one or two of them. I mean, it these are optional and while a lot of DPS will be going into them, like I don't think
[12:20] subtlety rogue will ever not take their apex talents for preservation, there's a real argument to why maybe you don't need those talent points. But again, we'll save that for a midnight video. Let's go over to the evoker side of the
[12:33] tree. Now, there's been a couple of changes here. Um, one of which is inner radiance. Your living flame and emerald blossom are more effective on you. This is in place of our interrupt. We lost our interrupt. I don't like it. Blizzard
[12:46] know, I love you to pieces. This is the one change that I'm I'm still not on about. I still don't like the not having a kick. It is caused me to die in beta. It's gonna cause me to die in the war within. Have some mercy on me. The new
[13:00] stuff that you get over here in the talent tree is mostly in this bottom half. So, let's go through all of it. Your protracted talons is now here. So, Azure Strike, which isn't really worth it on pres um it's right here. And then
[13:13] never needed that leech. You really don't need leech on preservation. It's You've never really needed it. Blast furnacees remains the same. Unravel now absorb shields from enemies. So instead of being an additional button, it now
[13:29] just works on your fire breath, which is awesome. I loved the button, but it was button. I liked pressing it, but it was weird. So, I'm happy to see this here, and it's in a pretty convenient location. Stretch time, I think, was
[13:42] only augmentation before. Uh, while flying during Deep Breath, 100% of the damage you would take is instead dealt over 10 seconds. I love this because your deep breath isn't always talented to be a stun. And you can use your
[13:54] two-minute deep breath as a defensive. Essentially, a major mechanic can come out and you can do a quick little deep breath, tag the boss, and then start healing people while you're taking that same damage over time instead, which
[14:06] should help you maintain mastery. So, I actually really like stretch time. I think this is a great great option. Um, and then strike from above. Glide speed and height increase by 10%. Let me show you what that looks like really quick.
[14:18] Um, it's fast. Like, you feel significantly faster than you did before. Um, I know it's only 10%, but god do I love it. Um, grab this talent. I don't think it's best in slot, but I do think almost everyone will want this
[14:31] as it makes positioning easier. Getting to new targets a little bit faster. And overall, because pres needs the most positioning requirement, having a method leaping flames just has a new icon. It It hasn't changed. It's still there. In
[14:44] paradox or time spiral now. So, that's come from augmentation. Um, I think it was augmentation exclusive before. Am I misremembering that? I don't think so. This is a bit of a side grade in that having renewing blaze not be its own
[14:59] defensive means that you are lacking one more defensive and one more choice you defend yourself or self-heal through something, pop your defensive, which is better, I guess, for readability for new players, but also they're trying to
[15:14] callull the defensives to make the game a little more difficult and they're not trying to ruin like all the uniqueness of the specs. So, I feel like this is a good compromise. And I think this is called Fochi of Life. I don't how do you
[15:27] someone tell me how to pronounce this, but Renewing Blaze instead works over 4 seconds instead of eight. So you could pick this up for a significantly faster talent fight with Renewing Blaze being a one minute. So I actually think this is
[15:41] a good change. However, we did lose a defensive. Rescue is still rescue. Um Twin Guardian now makes them move 100% faster for 3 seconds and allows them to cast while moving for 3 seconds. However, this comes at the cost of
[15:54] that's sad, but again, if you need another defensive, it's here. I don't want to hear any of you complaining about this. Okay, you have an extra external defensive. Okay, and this is still a really nice effect. All in all,
[16:06] the changes here are pretty good. I like the new utility being brought to us. I kick being removed. It's great. I'm I really like healing on new preservation and these new core changes really do help. Now, let's start diving into the
[16:21] hero talents and going through those to which I'm going to start with Chrono Flame Shaper has gotten a whole rework and I think a lot of you are going to really like it, but Gone is engulf and all the clunkiness that came with it. I
[16:34] You're going to be sad that your big buttons are missing. However, I think this new one is way more flavorful, way more preservation build, and even more Chronowarden feel like they might both be viable for M plus and for Raid. And
[16:49] you're picking a style of play that might work better for your composition or for your brain. And I love that. That's kind of what I loved about Discipline Priest with Oracle and Voidw Weaver for a while was that both were
[17:02] really good in a large amount of keys and you could kind of pick which style you liked more up until some world record level keys. So happy to report Now, I've also heard a lot of people say
[17:14] Shaper is good. I don't know who's doing the misinformation thing and why Chrono Warden's going to be bad next season. If you think this is bad, you didn't play test it enough. And I hate sounding so harsh, but truly new Chrono
[17:29] because we lost Spirit Bloom, but the changes are so buttery smooth. They're so powerful. I think you're going to love it. And Flame Shaper is just perfect now. So, let's dive in. You still have Chron Flames. That has not
[17:43] changed. Tip the Scales has a 30 second uh reduction in its cooldown cost. I need to know. I don't know how this will interact with our um tier set. Uh, I nerfed or if this is getting nerfed or what's going to happen to make it not
[17:57] super broken. My assumption is that they're going to nerf the tier set so that it's a 1 minute with these new hero talents, but don't quote me on that. I might not be able to select all of the hero talents, by the way. Just be
[18:09] prepared for that as well. But it's very easy to like say remove this entire row over here. So, you should be able to reverberations instead of affecting spirit bloom is now verdant embrace as I
[18:23] mentioned earlier. This is a dummy powerful heal like it's like a really good heal over time and you can you know if you get the talent that makes your verd embrace 30% stronger or the two charges you can get some backtoback
[18:35] crazy heal over times. So really like the new reverberations and primacy is not changed so you can get that up to 9% bonus haste for relatively free golden opportunity echoes 10% more effective. This means you get 50% uh echoes on
[18:50] temporal anomaly and you get more a flat 10% more effective echo on a standard echo. Down here below the tip the scales cool down. Temporal burst your big cool down or your big buff rather when you get your tip the scales off um gives you
[19:06] I think this is five essence burst over over the next 30 seconds. Yeah. So every 6 seconds you get an essence burst. Wow, I said that horribly. But yeah, getting an essence burst every six seconds with like the new Titans gift is unbelievably
[19:19] powerful. There is so much good to be had in energy cycles, exhilarating burst, for instance, right? When you get an essence burst, you get more powerful crit heals. More powerful crit heals and you can maintain that buff for your
[19:32] you can maintain that buff for your entire temporal burst window. Like I I like the sound of that. Overclock just means that your Chronoflame's maximum which makes your after images feel better. This was nerfed because we lost
[19:46] spirit bloom, so one less empowered spell, but given the chronoflames are stronger, it's it's only so bad of a nerf. It doesn't feel terrible. And dream breath is now a 20 second cool down if you take the talent for it. So,
[19:58] I feel like this is nerfed, but it's not bad, right? It doesn't feel as bad as you might think. Temporal burst is the same dummy thick cooldown that it is right now. and then knows Dormu's adept temporal anomaly mana cost reduced by
[20:11] 15% and the cool down reduced by 4 seconds. Now currently with our current haste values I do not think it's possible to get a triple temporal anomaly setup on a raid. Maybe with enough haste we can all experiment with
[20:25] that one later. However, being able to do a double temporal anomaly echo setup from essence burst and then being able to slam a big heal into another temporal anomaly a moment later into another big heal is a great feeling. So, I think
[20:41] this is a like an absolutely banging talent and I think it makes Chronoarden feel even smoother than it did before with instability matrix being unchanged and the rest of this side being completely unchanged. Um, I like chrono
[20:53] warden every time I use it in dungeons. feels good. It feels smooth. It feels adaptable. It feels like you can handle anything if you're creative enough and know how to work your combos. I think Chrono Warden is perfect for the new
[21:05] really like classic preservation gameplay from Dragon Flight. I love it. But Flame Shaper finally got the rework. And I once again just want to shout out I roasted the most for being a little unoriginal, a little boring, and a
[21:21] little clunky. I wanted to feel like I was actually shaping flame and I wasn't, you know, pressing my wacky new engulf button and just clunkily healing everyone. Never liked it. This absolutely I don't want to swear on this
[21:34] channel. This this it slaps. This absolutely slaps. So, let's talk about the new flame shaper. Legacy of the lifebinder dream breath in fire breath gain an additional charge. That alone should tell you how crazy new flame
[21:48] shaper is. This means you can backtoback fire breath. You can do two big AoE heals back to back in an emergency or you can save your resources and pull them for a rainy day. I love this when you combine this with these talents
[22:01] haven't changed. So you can get that stronger fire breath, stronger dream breath. They uh do their damage and healing 20% more often. And then you have like fire breath cooldowns reduced by 5 seconds. Fire breath and dream
[22:13] faster. And fire breath always gets 4 seconds more of damage and dream breath you're always working with some stuff. You always got something in the tank if you play your cards right. It's a really nice feeling. But there's no cooldown
[22:27] reduction outside of the fire breath cooldown reduced by five and dream breath being a 20 second now with the talents in the tree. So this does mean get more of these spells out per second, but that's more of its, you know, kind
[22:41] of job and what it's good at. Flame shaper can still do the whole consume flame business. It's been reworked, but I think it works really well here. But before we get there, let me talk about the new talents. Essence. Well, dream
[22:53] breath and fire breath have a 50% chance to generate an essence burst. I love how many more essence burst both these hero talents are getting. Great feeling here. When you consume an essence burst, a twin flame will fire out of you or to
[23:05] your target, healing them for a small chunk, but then it will bounce two more times. What I love about this is that as you're ramping potentially as a flame shaper, if you got any essence burst off during your ramp, you get a little more
[23:18] spot healing than you would normally. So, Ekko is already a stronger spot heal from a change in the war within. Then, you get these uh these bouncing flames, these twin flames to go flying around. Awesome stuff. Now, new consume flame.
[23:31] This is a little bit different, and I'll explain it kind of slow, but just bear with me. Verden Embrace and Emerald Blossom are going to do basically the consume 4 seconds of Dream Breath on allies it heals, detonating it and
[23:44] healing them for 200% of the amount consumed. Emerald Blossom does this for only 2 seconds, but you know it can activate on three to five targets, activate on 1 to five, but depending on how you talent it. So, this means it's
[23:58] in essence doing an AoE consume flame, but the consume flame effect is on the target that received the healing. So, Emerald Blossom's doing AoE because up to five targets are getting their flame consumed and verdant embrace will only
[24:11] heal a single target. You so far from my testing, you can't echo people up and consume all of their flames. You just consume the flame you verden embrace to. That being said, with two Verden embrace charges, that's quite a bit of extra
[24:25] spot healing on that. And for what small amount of healing it is, that will work through your life bind. So, that might be very nice for healing one target in extraordinarily bad day, but there are some Blossom builds in the works that
[24:39] big HPS. I don't know how good they are. I'm going to be honest with you. Like, I'm a little worried we're falling into the HPS trap with testing, and we're not with other healers, but I didn't do a whole lot of raid testing. That's just
[24:53] from my kind of third person analysis of that conversation. This is fun in dungeons. It looks like it'll be fun in raid and there's a lot to love here. Just note that if you burn all of your resources, you are in the gutter with
[25:06] flame shaper. There's not a lot left to save you. So, just be cautious. Those two charges are brilliant, but they're also really easy to like be like, "Ooh, dream breath and then you're like, oh, I have no dream breath. How could this
[25:20] have happened?" Uh, so just be prepared for that. But I think they could This is This is actually cook territory. Fivestar meal. I love what we're given two different fantasies that work their way into preservation and allow for
[25:34] different play styles from a baseline kit that is fun. I love the state of preservation. Granted, it's going to feel a little worse when you go into it dungeons and things are slapping harder and maybe they don't nerf the dungeons,
[25:49] see those new healing profiles. It could be a mess. But from everything I've tested in Midnight, I love the changes and the Apex talents add that just that little cherry on top for the kind of fun and the kind of things that you can play
[26:03] around going into Midnight. Now, I want to talk about Raid and M plus builds import strings, though, because realistically stuff might change. So, concepts, take a screenshot and bring it home with you. However, let's dive in.
[26:19] What you're looking at right now is a very typical mythic plus setup from me. do have a point up here you can play with with um it's not working because I broke the talent page, but font of magic is um you might not need the level three
[26:33] fire or level four fire breath and the level four dream breath. I found that I didn't during midnight. God knows in the war within how that's going to feel in that over to say get just in time, uh you absolutely could. down here. Of
[26:47] but maybe you don't want to rely on this right now and you would like to have oh, something. Feel free to play around with those talents. As we get to midnight, down here. And I think it's quite fun to play around with these talents. Most of
[27:02] my builds are going to look like this. Dreamflight versus stasis. I do want to talk about this. Dream flight probably in raid more often because when you click stasis or you click dream flight and cast it um the inner flame goes off
[27:16] immediately. I was kind of highkey hoping that stasis would not activate inner flame until you released the stasis. I thought that might be an currently doesn't work that way. I kind of hope they fix it, but I haven't
[27:30] tested it a whole lot. So, if a developer wants to know my thoughts on that one, ask me sometime after pre- patch has dropped. Um, that being said, way to go because it'll be doing a lot
[27:42] getting the extra healing over time from Inner Flame and any other setups that you've done will not get popped by Dreamflight. So, I think this might be the safer raid play, but in dungeons, I'm going stasis every time. Um, that
[27:55] being said, let's talk about raid a little bit. Um, on the rating side of looking like this right now. I think it's fine if I could have it my way. Maybe I take the point out of this and go potentially for uh maybe Wings of
[28:09] Liberty or maybe Titan's Gift. It's sort of a really weird spot cuz you're going of want energy loop. Um, some players are going for Spark of Insight, which is, I think, a totally fine choice in Raid. In raid, you can get away without
[28:23] trying to burn your whole mana bar across the entire fight. So, um I think what blossom builds and consume flame builds are kind of looking like. If you don't like the idea of running blossoms, you can run an M plus style build in
[28:38] raid with flame shaper. Just focus more on the um what's it called? On the verden embrace spot healing side of things rather than the AoE HPS style healing. Um I think it'll be fine. That being said, there is a real potential
[28:53] for a reversions build. Um, I'm I I'm swapping talents like something's going to change. What I recommend with a build like this is potentially we get rid of keep tempo charge. We get rid of like lifespark. It's going to suck. You're
[29:07] fun. Um, and it's hard to get rid of lifegivers flame without breaking this. And h there's just so much here I want to talk about that's hard to deal with. But you would take inner flame and get out as many reversions as possible. This
[29:21] increase all their healing over time. I don't know how good the reversion build's going to be. It's very dragon flight season 1 encoded. Critical strike chance is going to extend your reversions to a maximum of 12 seconds or
[29:33] an additional 12 seconds, right? So, they can live a very long life. But the reason I'm bringing this up is that there's an unbelievably real chance that this talent, reversion, protects allies, reversing 2% of all damage taken in
[29:45] healing them instead. There's a real chance that this puts in some freaking work in a reversion build, and I'm really looking forward to it. Otherwise, you're going to see me running something very um very Mythic Pluscoded, except,
[29:59] you know, maybe I take inner flame, maybe I don't take inner flame, uh where I just kind of focus more on getting a lot of heals down. Maybe I actually run I like I take the point out of Font of Magic, go flow state one, and then maybe
[30:13] would get rid of Inner Flame to run Flow State 2 and just run something kind of machine gun cuz I think it'll be good still. It still sounds like it might be fine. Ultimately, there's a lot of options here and there's a lot of really
[30:26] fun ones and I'm going to leave a lot of you to explore it. There is so much to love about new preservation. Just be prepared for that pre- patch blues, for the inevitable potentially things don't go as planned as they release the patch.
[30:41] The dungeons are harder, the raids are harder. Who knows? But that's going to do it for this one. I know this was like a super ranty, long- winded talking video, but I felt like this was the best way to kind of go through what you might
[30:54] need to expect in prepatch I can't give you a lot of footage because most of the people are testing in midnight or they're playing live the war within. So terms of getting you guys footage on how things feel. That being said, if you
[31:07] have any questions or worries, concerns, etc., let me know down in the comment section and I will chat with you all soon. Take care friends.
