One-Button Rotation = 9000% DPS Increase?
55sHigh-energy rant with a hyperbolic stat and relatable gaming frustration, perfect for clips and comments.
▶ Play Clip"Delivers on the promise of ranking player types with humor and insight, though some segments feel padded."
This video humorously ranks the worst types of World of Warcraft players, from those who claim the game is dead to toxic raiders, offering a satirical yet insightful look at player behavior.
A player who doesn't use their full rotation is mocked, with the claim that a one-button rotation is a DPS increase of over 9,000%.
Players who constantly claim WoW is dead, despite playing it themselves, are ranked. They often complain in chats and streams, trying to convince others (and themselves) to quit.
Players who insist Classic WoW is the only 'real' challenge, often exaggerating its difficulty and dismissing retail as too easy.
Players who constantly seek validation for their performance, often passive-aggressively fishing for compliments, are described as insecure and toxic.
Players who obsess over meta compositions and specs, even in easy content, causing class discrimination and unnecessary drama.
Players who inspect others' gear and talents, pointing out mistakes unsolicited, are compared to social recluses and criticized for their condescending behavior.
Players who put zero effort into learning fights but expect to clear challenging content, frustrating others who invest time and effort.
The classic toxic player, often using caps and insults, is ranked as the worst, ruining experiences for new players and everyone else.
The video concludes that while WoW has many frustrating player types, the game is ultimately for everyone, and players should respect different playstyles and skill levels.

12:09[00:06] at the game, bro? Like, did you ever open your spellbook and dragged [music] Bloodlust on your bars? You do understand that damage comes out when you press your buttons, right?
[00:22] This is great because for you, the one-button rotation is a DPS increase of one-button rotation is a DPS increase of over 9,000%.
[00:34] WoW was made so easy that you can play it with your grandkids at the same time. Yeah, grandpa. WoW is a fun game. It is. It is. Stop
[00:46] aren't you? I can see you there farming favors for Astalor. But sometimes WoW can be less fun. But the story is lame, the repair bills are huge, the Horde is dead, and the Amani
[01:01] options? No. Surely not all of those. But players. The game is home to a rich assortment of [ __ ] and terrible players, and today we're going to rank them. Now, before we do, I know for a
[01:17] fact that your mom watches this video and will decide if World of Warcraft is offspring. >> [laughter] >> I'm kidding. It's funny cuz this game is so old that now you are the mom we are
[01:31] talking about. As you can tell, I'm one bad day of making the list as well. So, bad day of making the list as well. So, let's start with an easy one.
[01:46] you still playing this video game? WoW is dead, bro. You're playing it right now, man. Yeah, but the game is so over. I'm just waiting until Guild Ashes world Albion comes out this year. It's going to kill wow. I I don't know, dude. Wow
[02:02] is kind of fun, but you are wrong, man. It's a dead game. And on and on it goes. Year after year, these seemingly never-ending string of wow killers keep popping out and keep dying off. That would be one thing, but the annoying bit
[02:18] are the people that actually hate the game so much they actively go into wow video comment stream chats, party chats, whispers, and so on just to complain that wow is dead. First of all, at this point we can probably agree that World
[02:33] of Warcraft is never going to die. If Shadowlands didn't kill wow for good, then we're fine, ladies and gents. But, these players insist on trying to
[02:45] convince us that the game has had its shine and it is on a very steep downward trend. But in reality, they're just trying to convince themselves using us as proxy. The wow is dead player simply wants to stop playing wow, but can't.
[03:02] The grip of Azaroth is too strong or Zalathas' feet too unburdened by footwear and finds himself logging in again for the weekly vault every Tuesday, Wednesday for EU players, no maintenance bonzai, and when he opens
[03:16] the vault and doesn't see his best trinket, yet again goes on a trade chat rant hoping that at least one person says, "You all right, xx Illidan xx. Wow is a dead game. We should all play Final Scape Wars 2, a much better MMO."
[03:38] now. You should try classic, bro. That's where the real challenge is at. And if you pull more than 75% of a mob, you instant die unless you have health potions, first aid bandages, stamina buffing food, defense enchants on your
[03:52] leveling gear, the best talent setup you are 100% spending gold to reset out in 10 levels, a shield, a two-hander with perfect sheen on the blade, a staff with spirit the spirit of a staff, and a party of healers.
[04:05] Really? That just sounds like you're bad. Nah, man. You don't get it. You will farm Wailing Caverns for 20 hours so you can then get enough gear to AoE farm Eastern Plaguelands with Blizzard for 50 hours for giga XP gains.
[04:21] Wait, don't you have quests for that? Nah, man. Quests are for [ __ ] Frost mage slow AoE grind for 3 days straight after work is the real leveling experience. Don't you have to do like a multi-zone,
[04:34] multi-instance, 19 quest chain of an attunement just to get into Black Temple? Anyone can raid, man. But getting to raid, that's the real end game, bro. To be fair, the stereotype can be 100% flipped on its own head. The
[04:51] argument that any player makes regarding retail or classic being better than the other has to be one of the most annoying conversations you can have about a video game that neither side is interested in playing. Classic and retail are so
[05:06] different as far as games are concerned that the crossover in player base is minimal at best. I know you have your guild of friends or your content creator little clique that all swapped to classic when a new
[05:18] version of the old game comes out. But the reality is the majority of each game's player base hardly ever steps a single toe in the other's game version. And that is fine. My guy, we are living in the best WoW timeline where you can
[05:33] literally play any WoW version you want. Go have fun. And if your best friend doesn't want to come with you, no amount of convincing strangers of your version being the best one is going to magically not make you feel lonely when you log
[05:47] into your DPS struggling to find a group despite tanking and healing being right despite tanking and healing being right there.
[06:04] Uh hey, hey, does anyone have details, Skada or recount? logging? I I think I think I messed up at one pull, man. >> You got a 98% parse, bro.
[06:18] parse, bro. >> Oh, how did I get a 98? class, dude. I'm just pressing random buttons. >> [ __ ] me if this isn't the type of player I personally hate the most. Jesus
[06:34] [ __ ] Christ, the amount of insecurity in these little babies enough to want everyone to validate their own little [ __ ] ass. Holy As far as I am concerned, these are some
[06:47] of the actual most toxic players that border on energy vampires. People who constantly seek validation and recognition from anyone in the most passive-aggressive way possible just so that one person saying they did great
[07:02] offsets the 25 years of their dad never saying I'm proud of you. I understand which is why this isn't ranked the highest on the list. There are arguably worse players than these guys, for sure. The DPS flexer
[07:19] doesn't just extend [music] to DPS, but literally any attempt at forcing attention their way makes these people some of the most insufferable players I personally had the displeasure of encountering.
[07:39] >> Yeah, dude. Do we have a rogue for the Atrophic Poison debuff? Dude, the debuff is so wonky. It's not even functioning half the time. Who cares? If we don't get a rogue, the
[07:52] synergy value goes down. We need the debuff for max efficiency. Also, we need another devour. We already have three. Liquid and Echo had four, bro. Do you know better than Max and Scripe? I've seen your purple parses. They are not
[08:07] even orange. [ __ ] wearing an LFR. The easy content min-maxer might the bat, but likely is the cause of some of the largest amount of class and spec
[08:19] discrimination. This player takes meta compositions and spec performance to the ridiculous extreme seriousness, where every run of every raid and every dungeon has to have the absolute best comp possible. We've been yapping for so
[08:34] many years about the fact that people should be playing what they like, and we aren't the only ones. Ironically, we make meta tier lists, but Ironically, we make meta tier lists, but that's for fun, okay? WoW is indeed a
[08:46] competitive game, and having an efficient comp does indeed make the runs smoother, if people know how to play the meta comps better, or at least at the same level as their off-meta mains, and if the content difficulty to the
[09:01] performance potential ratio exploits the meta synergy properly, and if the added percentile of performance makes the difference between a kill and a wipe. That's a lot of ifs, and can you guess how many of these a regular group ends
[09:17] up fulfilling? If you guessed almost zero, you would be right 75% of the time, which is a lie, by the way, since I just made that number up. But, just as I made that statistic up, so did your min-maxer raid
[09:31] leader made up his hypothetical spreadsheet on comp performance glazed with a bit of world first player frosting enough to justify his inevitable rant at people being bad despite them playing the meta class.
[09:45] Dude, just chill. For what it's worth, insofar as Marceline and I garnered the tiny bit of authority on the subject, we can tell you for a fact that as long as you are not a world first player aiming for world first ranking, playing a world
[10:00] first spec is not required. That extends to Hall of Fame and other really prestigious achievements like [music] M+ saddle and such. But outside of that, go invite your affliction warlocks. I'm tired of playing demonology.
[10:21] noticed you have the wrong talents for the spec you are playing that's totally different than mine. How the hell do you know that? I know, bro. [music] I just know that? I know, bro. [music] I just alt-tabbed, pulled up warcraftlogs.com,
[10:33] tabbed to the raid boss we are about to fight, filtered through the top parses for your spec, checked all of their talents, and 51% of them are using a different talent than you are right now. What the [ __ ] man? How far removed from
[10:46] getting laid are you, really? Also, I inspected your gear and you are missing an enchant on that piece of armor you just looted 7 minutes ago. You could have asked for summoning portal during those 3 seconds of out of combat time
[11:01] when the warlock was sitting down to eat so she could get her HP back up. If social recluse had a name, it would be the inspector and they would play wow just to annoy the [ __ ] out of their party members. This, of course, extends
[11:15] to pointing out mistakes and most of the time either passively-aggressively, some of the time condescendingly, and all of the time unsolicited. In our Romanian
[11:27] culture, we have a strong emphasis on mind your damn business and maybe this is working me more than it should. I am curious if it's the same for you right now watching the video and just clicking the like and subscribe buttons.
[11:42] if you dear Inspector player, if you are watching this video right now, I sincerely hope you run out of repair gold after a 0.5% wipe on a two-week progression boss with no warlock available in your raid group. Go
[11:57] yourself. >> [music]
[12:09] just say it. I can go over it again. No biggie. We've just been on this boss for four days. I just don't want to wipe on the first AoE soak again.
[12:21] All right, I'm guessing everybody knows what to do. wrong. Why didn't you say you still didn't know this one soak? Hey, bro,
[12:33] it's just game. We are getting close to who you thought of first when you clicked on this video. And this particular type of player doesn't get enough of a spotlight in my opinion and scrutiny a little bit. The type of
[12:46] player that puts zero effort into learning a fight or more colloquially known as it's just a game, bro. I know it's just a game, bro, but it's also my hobby and my personal time I invest. And this just game focuses on
[13:02] cooperation, teamwork towards achieving a goal. I'm glad your 8 hours per day spent on transmogging gives you the same game time value as wiping on a boss for game time value as wiping on a boss for four days straight. But the idea is to
[13:15] for as long as your character has a pulse. This type of player is pulse. This type of player is responsible for why we have toxic players [ __ ] on everybody. Or at least it promotes that type of toxicity.
[13:29] Listen, enjoy the game, chill and casual as much as you want. Look at me. Very closely. You are not wrong for taking the game less serious. It's fine. Do you. But don't [ __ ] do it in a challenging content where everyone is
[13:44] struggling to clear it and your lazy ass came in with broken gear, no tactics read, barely know how to play your class, and you want ahead of the curve? Weekly tens? The game is thankfully made for all skill levels and matter of
[13:59] player. And if you want to just chill out and it's just a game it all day, that's all good. Just know that Mythic Plus and heroic rating are not for you.
[14:14] >> why do you have to suck so much at the game, bro? Like, did you ever open your spell book and dragged Bloodlust on your bars?
[14:28] You do understand that damage [music] comes out when you press your buttons, comes out when you press your buttons, right?
[14:41] This is great because for you, the one button rotation is a DPS increase of over 9,000 percent.
[14:55] WoW was made so easy that you can play it with your grandkids at the same time. Yeah, grandpa. And we all know the toxic player. Most commonly accepted as the rank one douche, the numero uno butthole. Often
[15:09] seen using all caps in creative ways to spell all sorts of demonetizing words. Unfortunately, this is not an uncommon stereotype and you can find these people in every area of life whenever accountability is reduced to zero and
[15:23] you cannot be punched in the face as a result. And if you think that's a barbaric way to look at things, you have never witnessed behavior being more quickly corrected than a threat of the teeth being re-aligned and you clearly
[15:37] have a much higher opinion of human beings than we do. Honestly, this is an internet symptom more so than a World of Warcraft induced one, but the toxic player does indeed make for some of the most unfortunate new player experiences
[15:50] in WoW and online gaming as a whole, as well as generally just unpleasant for everyone involved. But things [snorts] can always get better with buffs. And yes, what better way to wipe the bitterness and angriness off of your
[16:04] tongue than a teaspoon of sweet positivity. Check out our coverage on positivity. Check out our coverage on the most recent class buffs right here.
