Skyborne Race Customization — Full Breakdown & Transcript

[00:00] Hello there and welcome back to another video. Today we're going to talk about the Skyborne and more specifically we're going to take a look at all of the brand new customization options of the Skyborne race which is coming in World of Warcraft Forever.

[00:14] Yes, a classic plus new race. This is our first one. Maybe we'll get more down the line. We will certainly see. [00:30] over on twitch.tv slash MrGM. Alright, so yes, World of Warcraft Forever is Classic Plus. This was announced at BlizzCon 2026. I was lucky enough to be in the hall when it was announced, and the place went absolutely nuts.

[00:43] This game mode has a ton of features, and one of those is the new Skyborne race, and in this video, we're going to take a look at all of those brand new customizations, which are coming to this new race in Classic Plus. All right, so yes, this is the character creaturing for the Skyborn.

[00:58] I really like this background, and I really like the UI they've used for WoW Forever. I think it looks super unique, and obviously, you know, you can see that there might be a little bit more room for a couple more races on the left-hand side,

[01:10] but that's not what this video is about. We are talking about the customization. So let's start by looking at the male model for the Skyborn. Now, it's worth noting here, the high-definition kind of toggle is not currently working for them.

[01:22] I would imagine they're just going to use the Burning Crusade Blood Elf model for the kind of SD version of this race. But yeah, as of right now, I'm not working, so we will be looking at the HD version of this model.

[01:35] So yeah, let's start by looking at the face. There are 10 different face options for the Skyborn here. Not too much different here. There's like a little smiley boy there, number 9. Very, very good.

[01:47] But yeah, not a ton of variation there in the faces. For skin color, there's a ton of variation. There is nine different options here, so you know, you've probably seen the blue one quite a bit, but there is kind of regular skin tones as well to make it look more like a high elf, which is actually pretty cool.

[02:02] So if you not a fan of the blue you can go with the regular colors as well but yeah if you want to go blue you can So for hairstyle there are 21 options here Yep this is This is a pretty big race here Now a lot of these obviously are related to the blood elves here So let take a

[02:20] little look at some of these. So, we have short, flipped, swept, falcon, foxtail, parted long, spiked, feathered, slick, topknot. Again, these are just a lot of the blood elf options.

[02:36] Mane, Tail, Windswept, Circlet, which is actually in red as well, I would imagine that's probably going to change, Prince, Thin Braids, Wayward, Crested, Airy, and Noble. So yeah, there are a

[02:51] couple of new options here, but not really a ton. For hair colors, we have 11 options. We do have them kind of in a lot of pastel colors here, as you can see, sort of pinks and yellows and sort blues and things like that, which seems to be the kind of running theme here. You can do a black

[03:06] hair color, and you can do white as well, but yeah, a lot of kind of passively colors here for our Skyborn elf. We also have a couple of options for ear length, with long, medium, and short being

[03:18] options there, and we do have eye color options with nine to choose from, kind of blue, and then going into some sort of yellow, and pink, and orange, very similar to the hair color, so you

[03:30] can match your eye color and hair color if you really do want to. But yeah, more pastel-y sort of colors for the Skyborn. Now we do have eyebrow style, which I believe is something that the Blood Elves do not have. So we have piercing, swept, feathered, and winged.

[03:47] So yeah, some new options there for your eyebrow style. Moving on, we do have some facial hair options with clean, point, soul patch, spike, pointed, propped, soul strip, dagger, goatee, styled, beaded, full and chin strap. So yeah, pretty

[04:05] much options that are from the void elf and I believe the blood elf as well. Eye sight, of course we have options for both, right, left or neither if you really want to do that. Now one thing that's really interesting here about the Skyborn and Unique is feathers.

[04:19] So you can actually put feathers in your hair as you can see here That does go for every single hair style as well and the way it kind of works is sort of like the hair highlight color that we got with the Evoca in Dragonflight So as you go through the kind of hairstyles here you can see that it sort of like

[04:34] you know, just there at the top, and you can customize the color of it with eight different options there. So you can really mix and match your kind of hair style and hair color with this kind of new feather that goes in the top there. There is also an option for face tattoos with

[04:49] with Gale, Updraft, and Crest, and you can customize the color of that from white to blue if you do want to do that. So you can kind of have like a Mike Tyson-esque tattoo on your face there. And finally, for the Skyborn male, we have some body tattoo options

[05:04] with Zephyr and Wayfinder. And again, you can customize those to either be blue, which is sort of not really blue, or white as well, which does look pretty cool. So with that, let's move on to the female model. Alright, so this is the Skyborn female model, again, kind of using that Blood Elf

[05:20] model as we've seen previously. So we do have 10 face options here with a little bit of variety, really, in sort of the shading around the eyes and the lips there, as we go through those. For skin colour, we have the same options we got for the male, so yeah, just the kind of blues into

[05:35] these sort of more regular skin tones as well, if that's what you're kind of into there, which is Great. For hairstyles, there are 25 options. You have bald, slick back, ponytail, parted long, soaked, full, tied, bun, parted short,

[05:52] which I'm just going to rotate that there. There we go. Simple, shy, racquel, glamorous, headband, which is in blue, which is good to see, D.Va, Elaborate, Bore Tails, Bangs, Braided Tail, Tiara, Pixie, Windswept, Swoop, Tailwind, and Tress.

[06:13] So I think Tailwind and Tress might be the new ones here, but yeah, very, very cool looking hair styles. With hair color, again, sort of passively colored. You can make it match your skin tone as well if you really want to.

[06:25] But yeah, pinks and blues and things of that nature. We do have a black and an orange and things like we saw with the male as well. For eye color once again same sort of situation where you can make it match your hair color if you really want to with nine different options to choose from Again the female do have the ear slider here so long medium and short if you want to go with

[06:45] that, and they do have that new eyebrow style, with the four options of piercing, swept, feathered, and winged. Moving on, we have some earring options with unpierced, loops,

[06:58] earrings, helix, pearls, and diamonds. Again, already in blue, which is good to see. Jewelry color we do have two options here for sort of a kind of goldy and a silver if you want to do that

[07:11] eyesight again we have right left or neither if that's an option you want to choose and once again we do have the feathers like we did see on the male hairstyle so yeah all the different hairstyles do feature the feathers in weird and wonderful ways here as you can see and there are eight

[07:26] different color options to choose from which do really kind of make that hairstyle look a lot more unique to their Blood Elf or Void Elf cousins, which is really cool to see. They also do have the option for face tattoos with Gale, Updraft, and Crest, being the options here with the colors

[07:40] being white or blue. And finally, of course, similar to their... And finally, they do have boy tattoos with Zephyr and Wayfinder, with the colors being available for them as well. So yeah, quite a lot of options for the Triborne Inn, WoW Forever. Now, it's worth noting we do have the HD

[07:55] model option on. All of the base races do have extra customizations. Some of the things we did see in Shadowlands, so yeah, you can have some of those extra customizations, however, the SD model for those races do not have those options, so yeah, it's pretty interesting,
