This video provides a technical analysis of the CSI 300 index on the weekly timeframe, using the Tom DeMark heat map and other indicators to identify a potential trend reversal. The analyst highlights a likely low on April 25th, strong buying volume, and suggests price targets and entry strategies for traders.
The CSI 300 is analyzed on the weekly timeframe using the Tom DeMark heat map, which evaluates possible market price reversals where trends are exhausted.
A cluster of TD Sequential reversal signals (with counts of 13) appeared, but the analyst cautions that indicators are not magic and some signals can be delayed or fail.
A low was seen on April 25th, and there is good buying volume above the blue line, with consistent buying pressure over the past five weeks.
The price gapped up above the previous week's high, dipped slightly without closing the gap, and buying pressure continues. The price is above the 20 EMA and the Donchian Channel basis line.
The index was approximately 37% down from its recent high (36.65%), and the April 25th low is likely the low of the year 2022 for the Chinese stock market.
The immediate target is 4,550, with a potential move to 4,000 to close the gap to the low of July 26th.
For a more convenient entry, traders can wait for a retracement to the 20 EMA or the Donchian Channel line at just above 4,200 (4,210), with a stop under the recent low.
Long-term holders can accept a risk of 14-15% for a potential gain of approximately 40% or more, if they believe the all-time high will be surpassed.
The CSI 300 shows strong signs of a reversal, with a likely low on April 25th and targets at 4,550 and 4,000. Traders can enter at current levels or wait for a retracement to the 20 EMA/Donchian Channel for a better risk-reward.

03:58Indicators are assistive aids
Reminds viewers that no indicator is perfect, emphasizing the importance of using them as confirmation rather than gospel.
01:01[00:00] Okay, so CSI 300, probably the most important Chinese index, and we're looking at the weekly time frame.
[00:12] And all these colorful bars are TD heat map. It's Tom DeMark heat map.
[00:26] And Tom DeMark created a way to evaluate possible market price reversals where trends are exhausted and might be turning.
[00:40] over here we have we see these long signals there's a whole thing of tom de mark sequential bars with counts of 13 and so forth we won't be going into that now but we did have a bunch of
[01:01] of reversal indicators. And just like any other indicator, they do not, there's no magic in them and not all of them are completely correct at the time of when the signal is fired so some of them are delayed some of them don work at all and you use it as an
[01:28] assistive aid as an assisting aid and not not per se so we did get these
[01:41] reversal signals from this indicator and we did see a low of on April 25th and
[01:53] recently we have also a good volume above this blue line over here we have good buying volume and if we also just show the normal candles in the past five
[02:08] days we had, sorry, five weeks, we had very consistent buying pressure with good volume. This week has only started. We're only there for a day and a half. So it's also looking good. It
[02:24] gapped up the open gapped up above the high of the past candle dipped down a bit didn even close the gap maybe closed it didn go too much down and the buying pressure continues The black line is the 20 EMA so
[02:46] we're past it, and this orange line is the basis of the Donchium channel, which is also an indicator that I'm using here. In short, it looks very strong and this looks like definitely
[03:04] starting a reversal. It's strengthening the fact that on the 25th of April, after an approximate at 37% down from the high, from the recent high, 36.65.
[03:21] This is probably the low, and it might be the low of the year of 2022 for the Chinese stock market.
[03:33] Now, for those that want to enter, since we might be exhausted, We're probably going to go to 4,550 in my humble opinion.
[03:45] We might even go to 4 to close the gap to the low of 26 of July And for those that would
[03:58] like to find a more convenient, possibly entry price at the price of perhaps losing that order, then they can wait for the price to retrace down and hit the 20 EMA or the line
[04:21] of the Don channel at just above 4,200, four to 10. And then their stop should be under
[04:33] low. Some might see it as too distant, so it's up to them. But basically, for those that are buying holders of the Chinese market and believe that the all-time high historically has not been
[04:47] reached and will surpass it at a certain stage, they can easily go for that risk 14 or 15 percent and go for approximately 40% and even more if they want to stick in for the long ride on the Chinese market.
[05:08] Trade at your own risk. Thank you.
