🧪 Creator Insights: Hook Formula

Curiosity Gap ⏱ 00:00

The hook immediately creates intimacy and a sense of shared experience by addressing the viewer directly ('you're using salt') and then playfully correcting their technique with a personal preference ('I like to use...'). The casual, conversational tone and the self-aware aside ('I probably do') build curiosity about the upcoming cooking method while making the host relatable.

You're doing [COMMON ACTION] wrong — I prefer [UNUSUAL/SPECIFIC ALTERNATIVE]. [SELF-DEPRECATING ASIDE].
