AI Summary

The video presents a low-effort gold-making strategy for World of Warcraft's Midnight expansion using alt characters with tailoring and alchemy professions. It emphasizes cooldown-based crafts over concentration-dependent enchanting, allowing for consistent profit with minimal daily effort.

[00:01]
Lazy Gold Making Concept

The speaker introduces a lazy setup for alt characters to generate gold throughout Midnight using tailoring and alchemy, focusing on cooldown crafts rather than concentration.

[00:30]
Why Avoid Enchanting

Concentration-based enchanting is expected to be less profitable in Midnight due to only two ranks of items and increased accessibility.

[00:57]
Tailoring Cooldown Crafts

Focus on Sunfire Silk Bolt or Arcanaweave Bolt, which generate about 3 per day. You can log in every 10 days to craft 30 bolts.

[01:53]
Alchemy Transmutation Focus

Wondrous Synergist is a key transmutation with high demand from cauldrons and housing decor, ensuring long-term profitability.

[02:31]
Alchemy Specialization Setup

Invest 5 points in Transmutation Authority, then 20 in Synthesis Synergy to learn Wondrous Synergist and increase production speed/stacks.

[03:12]
Multi-Craft Importance

After Synthesis Synergy, fill Metamorphic Mastery for multi-craft chance. Resourcefulness node is optional but beneficial.

[04:08]
Recommended Addon

Moose Knowledge Points helps track missing knowledge points and weekly gains.

[04:48]
Equipment for Alchemy

Use multi-craft tools (green or blue) to maximize returns. Blue tools are worth the investment for long-term profit.

[05:32]
Tailoring Specialization Setup

Invest in Nimble Needlework (5 points top, then 15-20 points for bolts) and Fiber Arts for multi-craft and resourcefulness.

[07:04]
Patron Orders for Knowledge

Weekly patron orders are essential to earn knowledge points and upgrade the setup.

[07:17]
Concentration Spending Options

Concentration can be used on cooldown bolts, spell threads, or alchemy flasks/potions. Wondrous Synergist may not be ideal due to rank insignificance.

[09:36]
Long-Term Outlook

Cooldown bolts are more used in Midnight than in The War Within, suggesting sustained demand. Avoid exploiting bugs to prevent bans.

The lazy gold-making strategy using cooldown crafts in tailoring and alchemy is expected to remain profitable throughout Midnight with minimal effort. Regular patron orders and multi-craft tools enhance returns, while avoiding exploits ensures account safety.

[00:01] a lazy way to make gold with professions. So, in this video, I will go through my setup for my old army and how I plan to print gold with it throughout the entirety of Midnight. My setup is very easy and very basic, and I

[00:16] run the same on all of my characters. And that is simply because I think this is one of the best setups for the entirety of Midnight. If you play The War Within, you probably know about the concentration old armies and people

[00:30] going absolutely ham on enchanting with their old armies to just print gold with concentration. However, this time around in Midnight, we only have two ranks of items, and everything is way more accessible. So, I think that enchanting

[00:43] concentration crafting will be worse this time around, and that is why I have opted for tailoring and alchemy as my two old army professions. In both tailoring and alchemy, we have cool-down crafts. They are not reliant on using

[00:57] concentration. However, we of course can spend our concentration two in these This is not only reliant on concentration. This is also dependent on cool-downs. So, everything here will be profitable forever since you cannot

[01:12] mass-craft it to infinity. So, the crafts in tailoring, particularly that I am focusing on, is the Sunfire Silk Bolt. And then also, you have the Arcanaweave Bolt if you spec into Arcanaweave. So, it depend on which

[01:26] route you go in the profession. These bolts generate about three per day. So, it takes you about 10 days to generate 30 out of 30 crafts. So, if you want to be really lazy with your tailoring old army, you can log in every 10th day and

[01:39] do the Sunfire Silk Bolts or the Arcanaweave Bolts. So, this is like mega lazy if you only want to do it every 10th day. But, if you pair it with something like alchemy, my focus craft here is the different transmutations cuz

[01:53] they have a cool-down, and especially the wondrous synergist. This item is used in a few crafts. It is used in the cauldrons for potions and flasks that people will use when they are raiding. But, it is also used in all of the

[02:06] different alchemy housing decors, which basically means that this will have a demand forever because decor is something that will stay here now the entirety of World of Warcraft's future. So, the wondrous synergist will always

[02:19] that this is a good item to craft. Together, you can also do the other different transmutes. I have not yet looked into them too much though because this has been my focus, and I've really

[02:31] been going lazy style on my old army crafters so far. But, let's look at the quick setup that you need for this kind of crafting. The specialization for straightforward. You want to come into transmutation authority, put five points

[02:45] in the top node here, then put 20 points into the synthesis synergy. This basically, first of all, learns you the recipe for wondrous synergist so you can craft it, but then it makes it region faster and give you additional stacks.

[02:57] So, this one has four stacks, and it generates as fast as a tailoring bolt. So, basically, three of these per day. So, if you want to with your alchemist alt, you can log in every like 1 and 1/2 day or whatever and craft these. Me,

[03:12] this at the same time as the cool-down bolts. I will not like be that make them because that is too much effort for me. But, after you have the synthesis synergy, you want to come into the metamorphic mastery node here. This

[03:27] one is giving you multi-craft for the crafts, and that is going to be really important. So, fill out this node as much as you can, and then if you want to continue upgrading your old army, like it depends kind of how far you want to

[03:40] go. The next one you want to fill out is going to be the reduced one cuz this gives you resourcefulness when crafting transmutations. However, I'm not sure yet if I will bother going in here. Probably I will, but I don't want to put

[03:54] too much effort actually doing patron orders and stuff every week until I get how far I go, but I probably will go into reduce, and then I'll stop after that on this old army. You don't have to go all the way there, but it's kind of

[04:08] probably good to do it for the future as well. But, if you don't already know how recommend you to download this add-on. It's called Moose Knowledge Points description. Basically, it tracks what knowledge points you're currently

[04:21] missing, what you can get this week, and yeah, just really nice. You can all the knowledge points and stuff. So, really recommend that one. Just keeping up with patron orders for about two or three weeks should be pretty much enough

[04:34] maybe four weeks, I'm not really sure. You will get quite a lot of knowledge and stuff that you can hunt down in like quickly look at equipment here as well for alchemy. I have some green

[04:48] multi-craft rod here right now. My plan is actually to upgrade all of my alchemists and tailors to have the blue multi-craft tool eventually. I'm just waiting for the prices of them to drop a little bit further, but I think we're

[05:02] it's definitely going to be worth it for the long term to have multi-craft on your blue tools because eventually, you make the money back quite quickly, and be great to have. So, both for alchemy and tailoring, I recommend you to have

[05:17] multi-craft tools. But, let's quickly look at tailoring setup then as well. By the way, I didn't mention this, but both of these is just printable from day one. this really, really quickly. So, you don't really have to do any long-term It

[05:32] know, 1 hour per tune or something maybe to set up. So, it's really, really quick. But, in tailoring, it's very easy setup as well. What you're going to want to do is come to the nimble needlework. You put five points in the top node,

[05:45] then you pick if you want to go with the Sunfire Bolts or the Arcanaweave Bolts. What I recommend you to do is go maybe for both. If you have multiple tailors, maybe you pick one for each tailor. So, this one has Sunfire, next tailor has

[05:58] the Arcanaweave, etc., etc. So, that is one way to do it. So, this one has Sunfire Silk, then you put five points in here, 15 points here, 20 points here. If you go Arcanaweave, it's just same but this side, 15 here and 20 here. To

[06:12] maximize the cool-down and everything, you needed this spec, and also to even get the bolt recipe, you need to spec this. After this, you come to fiber arts, put max into creative efficiency because this gives you multi-craft,

[06:24] which is very important. And then you want to come over to this node as well here with resourcefulness and max this one out as well. There are more However, I don't think I will be going here in my old army because it's a

[06:37] little bit of effort. It all depends, but if you're going to max out for long term, this one gives multi-craft for every point you put in here, so it's going to be strong as well. But, it's totally up to you. Of course, you can

[06:49] also put more points into nimble needlework so you unlock both bolts per long term as well cuz then you could produce like 60 crafts every 10 day. So, that's huge as well. So, it's up to you how far you want to go in terms of your

[07:04] setup with this. And basically, just setting up is going to be doing patron orders every week, a few times per week to basically get here up as far as you want in terms of knowledge points. I think that is everything that has to do

[07:17] to know. Let's quickly talk about what you spend your concentration on because maybe it will not always be worth it to spend concentration on the cool-down straightforward. You just spend your concentration here. So far in Midnight,

[07:32] it has been really powerful to spend your concentration on this Bright Linen Sunfire Silk has been very similar in price. Now, however, it seems to have differed way more, so maybe it's useful

[07:44] to put it there. But, this is definitely one potential to put it in the cool-down bolt. Otherwise, the blue bolt is probably going to be okay for a while until people can mass-craft it. But, you also have the option to put it on the

[07:56] spell threads. And these spell threads here, as you can see, requires a lot of concentration into these spell threads, if you have the recipes, like when they become cheap, it might be really good to buy these recipes and put your

[08:09] potential I'm thinking of. So, that is kind of up to to time to tell cuz we going to be on the recipes. It's probably going to be quite a good Sunfire Silk Spell Thread. So, that is it with the tailoring. And for alchemy,

[08:25] wondrous synergist. However, for decor and stuff, the rank of the item doesn't and stuff, the rank of the item doesn't matter. So, I think that the price of come quite close to each other, so it's probably not going to be the best to

[08:39] spend concentration on. But, what do I know? That's just a guesstimation. So, then you have some different options. Of course, you can learn some recipes for flasks or potions. That's going to be okay or pretty good maybe even to spend

[08:52] concentration on for a while. It's not going to be super good forever though, have different crafts that you can just spend it on wherever. Since you're going worth doing it for the composite flora here. Any potions or flasks should work.

[09:07] what will be like good to spend concentration on. It's not really the focus of the profession, but I think like flasks, potions, and maybe the other transmutes will also be doable with concentration. So, I'm kind of a

[09:21] bit split here, but as long as we have the cool-down craft, I am totally fine focusing on mostly. I'm using like some concentration and stuff for my patron can get the most amount of knowledge points to get them set up faster. I hope

[09:36] this gave you some insight on how I am going to make my lazy old army make gold Midnight. I hope this setup is going to be good for a long term. I really do think so. The cool-down bolts are used

[09:50] way more in this expansion than they were in The War Within, so I do think quite long. They have gone down a little bit in price now. We'll see what happens. There was sadly a bug where you

[10:02] had a cool down regenerating too quickly. I think it's fixed now. I haven't checked because I have not been crafting for a week now or something because I don't want to get banned for doing something strange. So, I'm just

[10:14] trying to keep not crafting the coolant bolts for like one more day or maybe I will craft tonight cuz I've waited so long now. But, I'm just not exploiting it basically because I'm afraid of my account. And I do not recommend anyone

[10:26] to do it as an exploit because people got banned for this in Dragonflight. That's also like one thing I should note. Do not craft 30 out of 30 crafts banned. If you want to support me a little bit extra, subscribe to the
