AI Summary

This video provides a comprehensive, step-by-step guide to affiliate marketing using AI tools. It covers niche selection, keyword research, content creation, and affiliate program sign-up, with real examples of successful small affiliate sites. The goal is to help beginners find low-competition niches and build a profitable affiliate business.

[00:01]
Affiliate Marketing Basics

Affiliate marketing is a simple business model: you create content, send clicks to brands/products, and earn commission on sales. It's a numbers game based on niche, content type, and getting started.

[01:19]
Niche Selection with AI

Use a transactional affiliate article generator prompt (provided in description) in Claude or ChatGPT to generate 20 best affiliate article ideas for any niche (e.g., hiking, pickleball).

[02:39]
Keyword Research with KeySearch

Use KeySearch to check competition for 'best + product' keywords. Look for low to medium competition (e.g., hiking in the 40s). Avoid high-competition niches like electronics or software.

[03:21]
Choosing a Sub-Niche

Pick a niche that interests you (personal or professional experience). For affiliate marketing, you need many products to write about (50+ articles). Physical product niches like pickleball offer many long-tail keywords.

[05:05]
Example Affiliate Article Structure

The creator's software blog uses simple content: introduction, affiliate links in text/buttons, and a conclusion. Recurring commissions from software can accumulate significantly (e.g., $1.29 million from one network).

[06:28]
Affiliate Networks and Programs

Two strategies: keyword-first (find niche, then join programs) or program-first (join programs, then create content). Keyword-first is recommended. Networks like PartnerStack and Impact offer many programs across niches.

[08:59]
AI Content Generation

Use an AI content generator to create SEO-optimized outlines and sections. Example: 'best carbon fiber pickleball paddles' generates H2 headings, meta description, and product sections. Add human experience and images to stand out.

[12:21]
Real Small Affiliate Sites

Examples: outdoorsgenerations.com (hiking, camping), tinyworkshops.com (creative hobbies), sleepopolis.com (mattresses), parenting sites, golf blogs, lawnreview.com (lawn tools), dogfoodadvisor.com, coffee sites, and epicgardening.com (e-commerce).

[23:07]
Step-by-Step Game Plan

1. Spend 1-2 weeks choosing a niche using AI and keyword research. 2. Start a website with a broad domain name (use WordPress). 3. Build 20-50 high-quality articles with AI + human editing. 4. Add affiliate links after traffic comes. 5. Expand to social media (Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube).

Affiliate marketing is still viable if you focus on low-competition niches and combine AI efficiency with human expertise. Start small, publish consistently, and treat it like a real business to build a sustainable income stream.

[00:01] just too competitive now or it's too difficult. And the truth is a lot has changed [music] and you need to find pockets of opportunity. So small niche areas, most areas you probably never thought of that are quietly getting

[00:13] traffic, making money using AI-powered systems. [music] So in this video, I'm marketing works step-by-step [music] and then we'll break down some real examples of smaller websites in low competition niches that are actually winning right

[00:26] now. And then by the end you'll have a full affiliate marketing game plan so create the right content, join the right programs, and start a real affiliate started, you can get a free AI masterclass plus prompts from this video

[00:41] and the pinned comment below. It's a free exercise basically helps you pick your niche and develop your content plan once and for all. So to get that again, it. So affiliate marketing is actually a really simple business model. If you get

[00:54] clicks on your stuff, your content, you send those clicks to clicks to other brands, to products, and then you get commission anytime someone makes a sale. numbers game and it comes down to like, what niche do I actually pick, what type

[01:07] of content do I create, and how do I actually get started? So the steps are, actually get started? So the steps are, content ranks, you get traffic, traffic affiliate links, and then people buy

[01:19] numbers game. So what do we actually write about? I mean anything could be like Dick's Sporting Goods, it could be Amazon, it could be electronics, fashion, fitness, outdoor goods, software, it could be a number of

[01:32] that out? Well, I have a prompt for you here. You're going to copy and paste clicking the link in the description below. This is an a transactional affiliate article generator idea generator, that's a mouthful. So you

[01:45] take this, you paste this into either Claude or ChatGPT and it will give you niche would you like to generate 20 best transactional affiliate articles for?" So I'm going to say hiking. And then it'll come up with 20 different ideas.

[01:58] with this tool. How am I going to start creating affiliate content? What are the sometimes this will give you ideas. So, obviously boots, backpacks, trekking poles, socks, hydration packs, GPS watches, waterproof jackets. A lot of

[02:12] products are in every niche. If I think hiking, I'm probably thinking of a pole and some maybe some water and boots, but you don't really think of things like with zip-off legs, bear canisters for backcountry hiking, daypacks, wool base

[02:26] layers, trekking poles, hiking sandals, emergency satellite communicator, solar products that we can start to look at the competition level. And then I have a tool here called KeySearch. It's a pretty cheap keyword research tool. And

[02:39] I put in best plus hiking, so that'll include every keyword that includes best plus hiking. We're looking to rank for best plus a product, because if we're are buying things. We can do this on YouTube, we can do this on a blog. This

[02:53] that people buy through affiliate links on. So, we can see some things like best we're looking for mainly is a general consensus of how competitive it is. So, we'll see hiking, it's about in the 40s

[03:06] 40s, so it's like low to medium competition. Not zero, not completely what we can see with like hiking, camping, kind of middle competition. If electronics, software, that's really high competition. So, we have to find

[03:21] first a keyword strategy that'll work for you. So, we're going to come back to this again and try to think of other sub niches that could work for you. So, you often times it comes down to well, I'm going to be creating a good amount of

[03:33] content, right, over the course of time. What would actually interest me enough comes down to usually personal versus professional experience. So, maybe you're in sales, but you love pickleball, for example. Would you

[03:46] rather do sales or pickleball? Well, if you wanted to do blogging, sales might be very challenging, might be very competitive. Whereas pickleball is newer you're doing YouTube, maybe you would do sales because it's you can create videos

[04:00] the business model is dictated by this. For affiliate marketing purposes, we need a lot of articles. We need a lot of products to write about. We can't just have five articles about hiking and hope that the the shoes and a article about

[04:13] water is going to make us enough money. No, physical product-wise, we need a lot kind of like an Amazon product category ranking, 50 articles, or more. Right? That's just increasing income. So, with

[04:28] and I'm going to say, let's say uh this time I'll do pickleball and just see what it comes up with. So, 20 articles. So, paddles, and then you'll see variations. So, long-tail keywords and low low competition niches typically

[04:41] there's paddles, but then there's lightweight paddles, carbon fiber paddles, the bags, gloves, nets, power hitters, noise-reducing

[04:53] for neighborhoods, apparel, grips, knee braces, sunglasses, training aids. So, you can see, even in a niche that seems like there's like one or two products, products that you can talk about. So, for example, the niche that I chose when

[05:05] I started my blog in 2019 and continue to run is software. So, software, I writing software. So, you can see how these affiliate articles are structured. article, and then I have an introduction, and then it's very a

[05:20] simple content formatted in the exact same way. Number one, here's this this is this first mention is an affiliate link right here. There's an affiliate link in this button, affiliate link, affiliate link. If we go down to the end

[05:32] here. I don't even have a button on this one. I could easily have a button right here to end it. But, people typically just click these text links. I click on this and then I get to the actual website. If they sign up and pay,

[05:44] paid, and those are recurring affiliate commissions. So, you can see if I look at my Partner Stack withdrawals that I've taken. So, I'm owed 18,452 network, which I'll show you some affiliate networks where you can join

[05:58] programs. This shows all of the withdrawals that I've taken out of affiliate commissions from 2026. You can see 18, 23, 17, 25, 25, 25, 29, 34, 30s, all the way back to 2021. I actually put this in a spreadsheet to see how much it

[06:13] was adding them up and then they ended up being 1.29 million dollars of just affiliate commissions from one affiliate network. So, affiliate networks are good programs. So, you click discover partnerships. So, there's really two

[06:28] You can do the keyword first strategy where you're like, "I'm going to find a after all the products that I'm going to talk about like pickleball, for example. affiliate program later." That's probably the best option because you're

[06:40] going in something that and creating a real personal brand around something can create content on and you're not just basing it on joining programs first Treat it like a real business. So, elevate yourself above all the other

[06:54] content in a niche where you're teaching and you're helping. In an affiliate affiliate network shows you the marketplace. You can join programs here individually. So, I could say Webflow. Okay, I'm already in this one. If I go

[07:07] Okay, I'm already in this one. If I go back, I can see like, for example, Via. I click this button and apply. It tells you how much you make, up to 30% for the first 12 months. So, you can just see all of the Partner Stack. This is the

[07:20] software affiliate programs. So, you can see like the ones I'm in include, you know, a lot of them. Instapage, ConvertKit, Now Kits, Leadpages, LearnWorlds, Livestorm, Nextiva, Partner Stack itself. I'm an affiliate for this

[07:34] actual network. Uh ShipBob, Surfer SEO, Teachable, Thinkific, another one that I like called Impact. So, Impact has a lot of affiliate programs across lots of different niches. So, this has this is a discover

[07:49] can see like there's some beauty brands here, True Botanicals, all the way from brands to work with instantly select Coursera, Blinkist. I think that's the read books faster or something like that. And then so, I can go all brands,

[08:03] Let's just say insurance. Sure. So, you can see there's 100 insurance companies you could apply for. So, something like backpack travel travel, you have a travel website and you want to promote travel insurance.

[08:16] information about it and then it says you earn 10% commission based on every sale. So, basically, affiliate marketing is very simple. You have a network that programs or you just join them separately if it's in its own little

[08:30] thing. You can find it by Googling it and going to the brand. And then in that's unique to you. So, there's a unique identifier with numbers and actually you, the sale that came from you. And then you have your reporting

[08:43] commissions you've generated and then a payout method. So, it's typically done do Payoneer as well. And then what's nice is you can use AI to speed up this Again, you can get by clicking the link in the description below. And then if I

[08:59] copy this, this is a content generator. So, I'm going to go here. paste that. And what's your target keyword or topic for the outline? So, I'm going to say I'm just going to do this one. I'm going to keep out under

[09:12] 100, but I'm going to do the best carbon fiber pickleball paddles. Now, what this writing the content. So, this is SEO optimized, which is also becomes AI optimized because good AI SEO is good SEO. So, a really good intro with a

[09:28] paragraph at the beginning that shows and tells what the article is about, keyword at the beginning, right H1 heading for it, the right keywords throughout with H2s and exactly how it should be formatted. It's all in here

[09:40] with the correct year and everything with a meta description, introduction, fastest growing sport in America with 36 million players. So it's kind of writes you all the H2 headings that you need. So what makes carbon fiber pickleball

[09:53] paddles different? So you should be in this article what how do you organize an just an intro and then the products, but sometimes a little bit of context actually helps first, right? How we tested and evaluated and then the best

[10:05] ones are top picks. So six to eight. So it's going to give you the full outline of every H2 heading and then it writes the conclusion, semantic keywords you things. So this is a full outline that's done. You could even take this and go

[10:19] write this write this part, right? So here's the written section. So writing out the whole section for you. So then you copy paste this, right? So the key is if you did this and just

[10:32] finished article. It could be 3,000, 4,000 words. You'd have all your programs, you add the links in the right spot. Let's say there's five companies just the top two when you're starting or even if you're just what I would do if I

[10:46] affiliate links in yet. I would just start publishing content quickly, high about the affiliate links once they start generating traffic cuz that just could better spend that time working on more content that. But let's say all

[11:00] right, so you have eventually you have an article with five companies and affiliate links in each one. That's all great. The article's formatted. However, there's one caveat to this and that is that anyone if anyone can do it then

[11:12] you're not going to necessarily make money because this copy paste AI content adding anything to the conversation. AI is already taking what exists online and using it again. That kind of content

[11:25] can don't get me wrong, it can especially if it's really low competition areas like informational content around certain things, maybe not want is to add your own unique take. So in the intro, say I tested these five

[11:39] carbon fiber pickleball paddles. When I pickleball, I've been playing pickleball I like and I tested. And then you have pictures of yourself, not necessarily buy every product, but some generally go out one day and take some pictures of

[11:53] example, if you're doing a gardening blog, you should take one day just take and doing stuff so that you can add meaningful helpful pictures into your another thing that you want to do here is elevate yourself above AI content to

[12:08] humanize it, to add your own take, your own experience, and and that's winning content. So put on your marketer hat, think like if I was a editor-in-chief at article? How would I take this AI content, which I can create in 5

[12:21] it better? All right, so now we're going to look at some smaller affiliate sites that we've never seen, that are doing well, making money, and we kind of can see what their strategy is. So here's one I'm calling outdoorsgenerations.com.

[12:36] So you can see they have guides on hiking, Nordic walking, backpacking, categories. And you can see that they have informational content, like backpacking for beginners, how to boil water while camping, all of these

[12:48] things. The best Eureka tents of 2024. So it's a couple years old. This is just an example for a cat how to categorize things and lay it out. So you'll see this is a nice layout, the top ones we recommend. This is actually linking to

[13:01] specific articles on them. And then the top ones, and there's view at REI, view at Moosejaw with affiliate links for each one. Right? So every product that might want to know the features, the pricing, the user experience, how it

[13:16] works, and all that. For camping and a tent, you would want size, comfort, how things that you would rank on. What are your criteria, right? So every niche has slightly different criteria. A boat or a kayak is how comfortable it is, how much

[13:30] it weighs, how easy it is, how fast it is. Or a software could be just the user things. So, every niche has slightly different criteria, but you fill fill in content in and then it's just, you know, you'll see that the section for number

[13:44] two is the exact same as the section for number one. There's a picture, there's a some images and paragraph text. So, it's really simple and it goes down the list. affiliate marketing is more assembling content than necessarily writing

[13:58] creatively. It's ultimately people skim these articles. They skim them. They're they're just going to look visually for the link, click the links. You want counterintuitive to what a lot of people teach, but you want these articles to be

[14:11] the affiliate link and they make the decision offsite. You just want them to you can actually make money, right? So, you don't want them lingering around your article for 5 to 10 minutes. You actually want them to just get to the

[14:24] point, click and leave. So, really it's about ranking the content, which is about creating a really good humanized content with quickly and efficiently so Google views you as an expert, maybe layering in a YouTube channel as well to

[14:37] create even more content and do really well. That's what the brands are doing with one and they then they expand so they have YouTube and a website. But this is just an example. So, there's like Nordic walking for example, guides

[14:49] gear reviews and guides, very simple website. Here's another example. This one's pretty cool. Tiny workshops.com. So, this is like different creative hob- hobbies, miniatures, woodworking, nerdy hobbies, all kinds of different things,

[15:03] guides to illustration, watercolors, printing, paper crafts, smaller things, watercolor, takes me to some watercoloring guides. I'll say watercoloring for beginners guide. That's cool. What is it? So, these are

[15:15] good It's good to lay out and any affiliate site also needs informational example, but then I can click watercolor paint, watercolor versus acrylic, you know, or maybe I go back to this and I find, let's see. Then they have Here are

[15:30] find, let's see. Then they have Here are a few guides. So, best watercolor blocks. Now, we have affiliate articles. All right, best watercolor blocks. Amazon link, Blick, Jackson. So, these are What is a watercolor? I don't know.

[15:43] It's a piece of paper bound on all four sides. So, watercolor sketchbooks, internal links to other related pieces of content. More products. So, you're information, and you're linking to products. Here's another one,

[15:55] sleepopolis.com. So, sleep reviews. So, there's Look at all these This is a really good organized menu here. Best mattresses by sleep position. So, best for side sleepers, back, combo, hip pain, neck

[16:08] take me to the article. And as you see, they have really good topical authority and E-A-T, expertise, authoritativeness, and trustworthiness, because they have expert contributors here. Whether or not they actually are, you know, fully doing

[16:21] have Helix Midnight. So, again, affiliate article. That is actually just a link going right to it. And then, very simple article here with a video that channel. But, don't overthink it. Start with one thing. So, again, Helix Sleep,

[16:36] You don't need to worry too much about that. Just paragraph text and images is fine. Here's another one, parenting. So, parenting has tons and tons of products, from toys for kids to safety gear, to things for the car. So many thousand

[16:49] parenting. If you go to like this article, who we are, the bunch people, safety, we'll go to like car safety, car safety tips. And then you can see something like this one. So, infant seats, best infant seats of They have a

[17:04] little mistake here by insert year. But, um you'll see again, very simple There's an easy table of contents plugin for WordPress. Again, if you click the link in the description below, and you join us uh in our community, we have

[17:17] set up the site and stuff. But this is a easy table of contents plugin that you can just add automatically to articles. But then we have here Chicco KeyFit, best dollar on car seat affiliate link right there to Amazon. So again, baby

[17:31] products, huge amount of affiliate programs there. Here's another cool one, golf. So golf has golf blog, deals the clubs. So if I click on like drivers, I can see all the reviews of individual drivers. So it should be like the

[17:45] evolution of golf driver six latest golf drivers, mini golf drivers. So again, articles intro, right to the point, click the affiliate links, really easy articles to create. And again, these ones are they have a score, pros and

[17:57] cons. You can also see there's ads here, so this is ads for uh this could be you can get paid for that too. So you can layer in ads over top of affiliate articles if you want. Here's Amazon affiliate link to the Cobra Air

[18:11] X offset currently available. So again, you'll see sometimes that if you keep make sure that these products are actually there. And there's there's programs for that. There's uh Thirsty Affiliates has a plugin that you can

[18:24] links in one place. So like you can add them individually so you don't have to find every single time you added it. You can change it the link and it'll change like that. But golf is a good one cuz golf, again, any blog, any website has

[18:38] two types of articles. How to do things, information, how to golf, how to swing, how to chip, how to putt, the best golf courses to go to, and then the products, drivers, irons, rangefinders, GPS things, all kinds of different products.

[18:51] So that's all that a website really is when it comes to affiliate marketing. Here's an interesting one. This one goes a little bit broad, so this is hobbyhelps.com. It covers a lot of different niches from outdoor, indoor,

[19:04] astronomy, collecting, sports, lots. I wouldn't really recommend this broad approach. This could have worked better maybe 3-4 years ago. I would hone in on one area first. But, you can see an interesting strategy. For example, like

[19:16] you can see all kinds of Pokémon content. So, like the 1990 Let's see. Let's see what's going to Mewtwo Pokémon card value. What is the value? PSA 10s

[19:28] interesting content. These cards PSA 10 sold for 2,200. this was written, but interesting content there. And then if we look at arts and crafts, collecting, sports, so like archery. Some of these niches are

[19:42] so low competition, like archery. Right, no one is writing about archery. So, if you just have an archery blog, types of archery, crossbows, compound bows, hunting. A lot of these things are so low competition. Recurve best beginner

[19:57] recurve bow. You know, you just don't think of these things typically. Here's another small blog, and that is the lawnreview.com. Look at this guy with the insane amount of lawn tools that he has. What a great photo. Look at that.

[20:09] Look at that. Look at all those lawn mowers. Legend of the grass right here, Tyler. Love it. Comparison guides, how-to guides, lawn tool reviews. So, layout, but look at this. And it's very good because it's I tested these things.

[20:23] I tested the lawnmower. This is what happened. Right? So, writing roundups, just being as helpful as possible. Having fun creating the content, doing just because a report says that it could be a good niche, but it's something that

[20:38] is low competition. Is more of a hobby or something outdoors or something or something that's just too competitive. An area of expertise that you want to get into, that you want to teach, that you want to create content

[20:51] on. Here's another one, uh prepping and survival. So, emergency preparedness checklist. So, kind of um prepping is another one that has tons and tons of content. So, common tips and beginners, reviews and guides. So, like uh gear

[21:05] reviews. And we can go to best portable survival water filters. Again, the amount of products that exist online is insane. So, just finding an area that interests you is going to be key. Another one here, dogfoodadvisor.com,

[21:18] best dog foods, grain-free dog food, tons of different options for your dog or cat or any type of pet. There's tons of pet products out there. Think of, you of different products, not just food. Like this site covers all of the food.

[21:33] a little more expensive like the electronic collars and different crates and things that are a little bit pricier. Another one here on coffee. coffee. There's coffee gear, things like espresso machines, very expensive, by

[21:46] the way, espresso machines, like the Breville Barista Express, all the way up to fancier ones. Let's just see what this one costs. $500 on Amazon for that one. So again, lots of different products. So, drip coffee makers, French

[22:01] espresso with grinder. Like you think You know, obviously we know there's four to five different types. But really, different types of machines that you could talk about, not to mention the

[22:14] beans that you can do affiliate programs for and all of that. Another interesting one is, kind of, what's the biggest evolution of where this could go. This is Epic Gardening. This is a huge blog that has tons and tons of informational

[22:26] content. You'll see any site like this that's really big probably has 90 to 95% like things like, you know, soil that, mulch do's and don'ts, reason to use it, organic versus this. There's

[22:39] lots of keywords with helpful content in there. And then they have even gone as have their own shop. So, it's actually an e-commerce brand as well that sells could be done in number of different ways, whether or not shipping it
