[46:24] to other people, the more I thought it might be worth building out and do a bigger thing. [music] So, a year and a half later, I'm really excited to be finally announcing the game's release date. Worming from home has been such a

[52:27] over 4 years now and none of it would be possible without the support of my loved ones and the kind-hearted [music] people of Outer Sloth. Memoriam is my love letter to games and writing displayed in two parts. The first part

[52:41] of fighting, exploring, and discovering was inspired by all my favorite games from Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Outer Wilds, and more. The second part of the game takes place in a room where you have objects that can be used to fill up

[52:54] the liinal space. On these, I've attached my own personal memories with the hope of encouraging others to write their own entries or at the very least reflect on their own past. The heart and theme of Memoirium is dreams and

[53:07] nostalgia. I wanted to convey how our view of our past, present, and future shapes us in all kinds of ways. While no player is obligated to use the room at all, it is there for those who want a moment to read and rest. And of course

[53:20] on the outside is the turbulent realm of dreams that the player can get lost in dreams that the player can get lost in and will have to fight their way out.

[55:39] >> I am a rolling gambler. I gamble down in town. Wherever I meet with a deck of town. Wherever I meet with a deck of cards, I'll lie my money down.

[56:33] Everybody listen to the bell [music] stand off [groaning] from the boys.

[56:51] The light is black. The devil [music] is coming back.

[58:34] [music] >> Heat. Heat.

[59:13] >> We're making a cozy horror game called Veil's Echo. You follow Veil and her floating little m Echo through the underworld and you'll meet dead weird characters, puzzles that will do your head in, and choices that will shape how

[59:26] at Hollow Beat Games. We've got a developer, a writer, artist, and musician. We make spooky [music] games where it's not the monsters that are the scary part. It's the emotional damage

[59:39] [music] of making it is watching you lot play. People kept winding up the hermit over and over and over. So instead of fixing that, we leaned into it. Now the

[59:52] if you make him hop in and out of his chair too much. And right now we're on a big one. Bale's first meeting with death. Trust me, it's not what you're [music] expecting. Anyway, enjoy the showcase and stay weird.

[1:00:08] Remember how I said we got over 60 games in the showcase this year? Yeah. Well, we got 2,000 submissions. You know how much it

[1:00:22] 2,000 submissions. You know how much it sucks to say no to 1,940 sucks to say no to 1,940 indo indie video games? It sucks a lot. So, I called in a favor with the founder of Offbrand Games, who is me,

[1:00:40] to get the team that runs the Secret Sauce Showcase, which is oh, Offbrand Games to sneak a few more games into the show. Here's a rapidfire roundup of

[1:00:54] show. Here's a rapidfire roundup of footage from really awesome indie games that deserve just as much hype and support as anything else in the support as anything else in the showcase. Check it out.

[1:02:42] >> Yeah. Hey. [music] >> Oh yeah.

[1:03:32] [music] Heat.

[1:04:46] Heat. [music]

[1:05:12] Heat. Heat.

[1:05:29] [music] Heat. [groaning] Heat. Heat.

[1:06:01] [music] Heat. Heat.

[1:07:08] Heat. [music]

[1:07:30] >> Heat up here. [music]

[1:08:57] >> Well, let me tell you, the real treasure lies below the surface.

[1:09:15] Be careful. You're not alone down there. [music] But the deepest secrets rarely reveal themselves on their own.

[1:09:29] so much better. If you ever need anything, we'll be here for you. anything, we'll be here for you. [music]

[1:09:41] >> That's old magic older than me. That's saying something.

[1:10:12] >> [music] >> Huh? Hey, [music]

[1:10:30] [music] Huh? Huh. Hat.

[1:11:40] Heat. [music]

[1:12:09] here to talk about a week in the life of a social giraffe. You know, everyone a social giraffe. You know, everyone always asks us why a giraffe. Well, it's stealthiest [music] animals. After all, have you ever seen one when walking

[1:12:22] around? The real reason is we wanted to have a stealth game character with no advantages. [music] You have to hide, but without changing colors like a chameleon or flying around in the dark like a bat. Instead, you're incredibly

[1:12:35] tall, oddly shaped, brightly colored, you inherently stand out. But giraffes are also not scary or off-putting. They're giant but gentle, awkward yet something you'd like to pet. You can't blame people for wanting to chat with

[1:12:50] him. In those ways, we think giraffe represents how we feel as asocial people, especially when his head is about to explode. Thanks so much for [music] watching. Be sure to stay tuned for the next Dev

[1:13:03] sure to stay tuned for the next Dev Diary. to promise to be cool, okay? So, I added more games to the showcase. Don't

[1:13:17] stress. Don't freak out. Definitely don't tell the secret sauce editor that they stuck in another montage of rapid fire indie game clips. Just lay low,

[1:13:29] fire indie game clips. Just lay low, check these games out, and

[1:14:34] [music] Heat.

[1:14:59] Heat. [music]

[1:15:32] collective behind Vanderborg. Today, we're excited to give you an exclusive sneak peek at a brand new biome and the enemies waiting for you inside. Welcome to the desert. Now, every great game needs a desert level, right? But for

[1:15:45] would a moving fortress actually adapt to this terrain? Scorching heat, shifting sands, and brutal sandstorms means engines have to evolve to stay on top of the food chain. To battle the grinding desert floor, your enemies have

[1:15:58] ditched their wheels and grown legs. In the desert, you'll encounter entirely new threats like galloping fortresses, walking hammer towers, and giant mobile cannons. And if you manage to survive long enough, you'll face the unique

[1:16:10] bosses of this harsh environment, like our friend, the Rusty Knight. Before we go, we want to say a massive thank you to our community. We can't wait to finally put the full game into your hands. If you want to support us, please

[1:33:21] trailer for my upcoming game, Drachammy. During the day, I work as a level designer at a studio here in Montreal. But in my off time, I love to make my own games. I got into game development from modding

[1:33:34] and level editing communities. I've tried to bring that spirit of creativity and play into Drachammy, but with my own twist. Drachammy is an unconventional rogike that gives you the power to draw, build, and create as you play to solve

[1:33:48] open-ended challenges. While developing, I have focused on making the creation process intuitive and playful to use. Simply equip a brush, draw into the world, and the creation comes to life. If something

[1:34:01] else overlaps, they connect. Every brush behaves differently, so use them to your behaves differently, so use them to your advantage or don't. The possibilities to share. You can follow along with the development process by following me,

[1:34:14] joining the Discord, and wishlisting Drachammy on Steam. Thanks. Sauce showcase. Off-brand Games puts this whole show together, but we also

[1:34:28] work hard to publish our own games. We've launched games like Rivals of Ether 2, [music] Bonnie Bear Saves Frog Time, and Ethermancer over the last Time, and Ethermancer over the last couple of years, and now I've got a

[1:34:42] couple sweet trailers to give you a look at [music] what we've got coming up next. Thanks for watching the Secret Sauce Showcase. Now, check these games Sauce Showcase. Now, check these games out.

[1:36:05] Triangle Wave and we're making Stretchman, the game where everything is stretchable. We've been having a blast adding loads of new stretchy stuff to our game. From bouncy trampolines to hazardous liquids that move as the world

[1:36:19] stretches. It's been great seeing that the more we add, the crazier our puzzles can get. We've even added enemy characters who started as these melon looking placeholders but recently got a real glow up.

[1:36:33] And what's this? A new biome. Some kind of alien planet. Ooh. development process, check out our first devlog on YouTube, which shows how

[1:36:45] Creepy Pasta Crow 64 has an unexpected link to Stretchman. And if it isn't too much of a stretch, hop on over to Steam and give us a wish list. All right.

[1:37:58] the developers behind Ultraool. We met online a long time ago and we've since, mostly game [music] tubs, but we've also tried to do bigger projects. Ultra pool is our fresh new game. We were getting a bit burnt out on our

[1:38:13] something small that we could put in people's hands very easily and everyone would be able to play and understand. After a night of playing pool with my friends in a hip bar in Barcelona, we felt inspired. So, we started

[1:38:26] prototyping ultra pool. It's been an honor to see people engaging with the fun, and getting very invested in breaking wood. And it's also been an honor to get Lw week and open games on board supporting us as the publisher.

[1:38:40] >> Oh, I'm an idiot. >> Please do try the demo and have fun.

[1:40:27] developer of John Cleep. I've been making games since I was a young kid. Starting with Paper Dolls and Grid Paper, googling how to make an MMO when Paper, googling how to make an MMO when I was 12 years old, then Yoyo Games, RPG

[1:40:39] Maker, Adobe Flash and Newgrounds, and more recently GDAU. I've always been interested in both play and narrative. And it's specifically interesting to me how gameplay can tell a story before there's any dialogue boxes or cutscenes

[1:40:53] or anything like that involved. With John Glee, it's probably the most gameplay forward project I've ever worked on. And with themes of risk and responsibility, life and debt informing every step of the journey. I love John

[1:41:06] every step of the journey. I love John Cle and I hope you do, too. Thank you.

[1:41:40] showcase. I guess wish list. Am I done? I guess wish list. Am I done? That was easy.

[1:43:13] Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey.

[1:43:55] me. [music]

[1:44:31] [music] All in love.

[1:44:43] me with

[1:44:57] love with me. [music]
