▶ Play Clip"Title promises 'the truth' and delivers a genuine, detailed explanation of the sponsorship breakup, though it's padded with self-promotion."
The video is a candid explanation from a YouTuber and marketing professional about why he ended his sponsorship and ambassadorship with Nexus Clips, a clipping tool for streamers. He discusses the reasons for initially accepting the sponsorship, the misalignment of visions with the company, and his decision to stop all sponsorships to maintain authenticity. He also introduces his new website and free course, twatterboost.com, as his only promoted product.
The creator admits feeling like a sellout for accepting the Nexus Clips sponsorship, despite believing in the product, because he was paid to promote it.
From day one, he stated he would not do sponsorships or affiliate links, as his channel was a hobby and he never wanted to make money from it.
He accepted because the product was genuinely useful for streamers, and he wanted to help the company establish a social media presence, being one of their first ambassadors.
Despite recommending the product, his visions with Nexus diverged, leading to the end of the partnership.
He will not work with any streaming tool sponsorships or have any sponsorships for the channel in the foreseeable future.
He emphasizes his channel's core principle: telling viewers what they need to hear, not what they want to hear, and never sugarcoating advice.
Two main reasons: the product is beneficial, and the company was desperate for help, initially seeming like a scam due to zero social media presence.
He demanded upfront payment, received half, and was paid in full for subsequent months, which justified the risk.
He helped Nexus grow their X account from 28 to 2,800 followers in under a month, but after he left, their growth stalled.
His tweets gained thousands of views (up to 5,800), but after he left, views dropped to 250 or less, showing the company's lack of marketing knowledge.
He identifies as a marketing professional first, YouTuber second, making it hard to watch Nexus mismanage their marketing.
He will never promote products like G-Fuel or other sponsorships, and will only promote his free course.
He introduces twatterboost.com, replacing his Patreon, offering a free course and paid courses on marketing for streamers.
He notes that it's easier to make money on YouTube than on streaming platforms like Twitch or Kick.
He will only promote his free course and is open to working with companies for marketing, but not as an ambassador or sponsor.
The creator prioritizes authenticity and transparency over sponsorships, choosing to end his partnership with Nexus Clips due to misaligned visions and a desire to avoid being a sellout. He now focuses on promoting his own free course and website, twatterboost.com, to help streamers grow their channels and income.

06:28Marketing Guy First
He identifies as a marketing professional first, YouTuber second, explaining his frustration with Nexus's marketing.
08:40[00:01] that I've been working with Nexus Clips a lot and they've been sponsoring most video to tell you guys the truth about Nexus Clips because starting today, I There is no animosity. There's no bad blood or anything like that. They were
[00:14] me as an ambassador. However, it made me feel like number one, I was being a sellout and multiple comments on my YouTube channel was calling me a sellout I objectively I understand completely where they're coming from. Without a
[00:26] doubt, I was being paid to make these YouTube videos. Even though I wouldn't actually believed in it, I still was being paid to push a product to you number two, it made me feel like I was going back on my word. From day one of
[00:38] that I would not do sponsorships. I wouldn't do affiliate links. I wouldn't business that I've ran for over 10 years now. So, I never did this to make money. I've always wanted to be a YouTuber. So, it's just been a hobby of mine and I've
[00:50] helping streamers full-time and replace my old marketing job with managing never really wanted to do sponsorships. However, when Nexus Clips reached out, and the fact that I could use the product myself, as well as easily see
[01:05] myself pushing this product to anyone that follows me, anyone that I manage, this product without feeling like, you know, it's a bad product or anything also amazing and I really wanted to help them get more established as a company
[01:18] had no social media presence. They had no anything going really. They just was one of the first ambassadors that they worked with and I helped them get things. Helped them establish a presence etc. But unfortunately our visions did
[01:32] not align far beyond that. I still recommend them 100% because they are the best clipping tool for streamers for content creators for things like that. I will work. I'm still going to put it in the description of this video. Not the
[01:44] find it. But I assume that the link will work to save you guys some percentages. tools, Nexus is still my favorite. It's still the only one that I would work I'm just not working with anyone moving forward as far as streaming tools or
[02:00] having any sponsorships for this channel for the foreseeable future. To be fully have listened to me and respected my marketing advice and treated me like an another ambassador, I would still be working with them because it's an
[02:14] explained this, but I'm going to reiterate. The reason that I didn't like to feel like I'm ever telling you anything just to sell you something. I you something to make money on something. I can fill my whole
[02:26] description with a computer mic and all of these different affiliate links and purchase something, but that just doesn't feel authentic to me. It's not something that I ever really seen myself aligning with. It's never something that
[02:38] never something that even though like I would love to do YouTube full-time or YouTube to fully replace my marketing business. It's not something that like not chasing a dollar. I'm not trying to make as much money as possible just from
[02:52] So, I never really wanted to work with the sponsorships. I never really wanted to work with any companies like that because it felt like it was just, you really about the money for me. One main thing that I started telling you guys
[03:04] videos and all the way up until today, it's something that I really live by and far as what my channel is built around. I would rather tell you what you need to suck. I would rather tell you that your
[03:18] on Twitch if you don't change anything. Rather than tell you, "Oh, you're so just going to grow. Keep grinding." That's not my style of videos. That's as coaching, if you pay me for coaching, I'm not going to sugarcoat anything. I'm
[03:33] need to hear, exactly what you need to do in order to fix whatever is the main reason that I decided to still work with Nexus, there's two main reasons. Number one, the product is actually beneficial for myself and anyone that is
[03:48] content creators, anything like that, it actually is helpful for you. Number two, decided to work with Nexus is because when they reached out, they desperately established. Literally, when they reached out, I thought it was a scam
[04:01] because they had zero followers on Twitter, zero following, that had like know, I get messages like this all the time from scams and things like that. of day is because they had an actual website and like, you know, there were
[04:15] them, you know, a chance. I got on a Discord call with them. There's nothing unless you get me to like click on a link or anything like that. I was very protected. Obviously, you have to be in this type of space. But again, I still
[04:27] on them anyway. When they proposed the offer, which was way more money than I thought my channel was worth, and it was much more than I expected. So, I thought story short, I ended up trusting them and it turned out not to be a scam. The
[04:40] way that I trusted them, I demanded, you know, first payment upfront. I'm not pay me up front. And they're like, well, everyone else has made videos first. However, we're willing to pay you half. Half was enough for me. I was like, even
[04:52] videos and they don't pay me the other half, half is plenty to justify posting that. They paid half. They ended up paying the other half and then they paid me the full amount for every month following it. Long story short, like I
[05:05] And from there, I started helping them establish their social media presence on X and getting a basic social media plan going for their marketing and everything However, shortly after working with them. To be fully transparent, I'm going
[05:19] working with them and when I stopped working with them because it's very >> Nex, >> no disrespect to Nexus. This just goes did not align as far as social media and things like that go, which for better or
[05:33] for worse. So, you can tell February 27th, that's when I first started taking over the account. I convinced them that you have to get this gold check mark and I helped them set up some basic advertising things and I started a basic
[05:46] is, it's funneling traffic from one thing to another. So, in this case, it was other stream pages funneling traffic into Nexus Clips, which is how I built worked with them. And as you can see, you know, I worked with them from
[06:00] February, from late February to like mid-March, so not even a month. We built the entire 28 followers, 2,800 followers that they have. And what they've been doing since hasn't gained them anything. In fact, I think we had closer to 2,900
[06:14] since. But I digress. The main thing that you want to look at from a company standpoint is views because you want to see how many people viewed your tweet, things like that. So, in this case, you know, 3600 was the first tweet that we
[06:28] did views wise. Next one was 4,900. The next one was a clip that I made, you know, of my own sponsorship of their video. 5,800 views, and this was all no budget. I saved their entire advertising budget, which they probably still have
[06:43] cuz they obviously aren't doing anything with it. but 5,800 and then you could tell right away, boom, they stopped working with me on Mar. It took them a month to get their heads out of their whatever. And then they made another
[06:56] me. Way bigger. I think he's got like over 100,000, maybe even like 400. I don't know. He's he's a popular creator. They if they're using one of his clips, it should definitely have gotten way more views than this one, but they don't
[07:11] used all these random hashtags. hashtags are not effective in the year in the year 2025. So, and this was after they completely like, you know, fired me from the I say fired. We went mutually separate way, not mutually. I was
[07:27] they didn't know what they were doing and they proved that they didn't know what they were doing. After this, you know, 1,000 views, okay, I mean, it's a six times decrease, but okay, it's still 1,000 views. The engagement went to, but
[07:41] it's still 1,000 views after that. 250 views, less than 200 views, 250 views. Oh, 400 views, 200 views, 200 views. Like, literally any one of you watching could probably make a social media page about a company and do more views than
[07:57] this very professional company is doing. I say that to say their ambassador came to me and they said, "Look, we cannot have you be an ambassador and things. So, we really like you as an ambassador. We like your YouTube
[08:11] So I said, "Okay." And this was like I said in February. I said, "Okay, that's fine. I understand." I didn't really understand because like, you know, from would never actively choose something worse just for presumably no reason. I
[08:26] was like, "Okay, that's fine. I'm okay with being only an ambassador." Up until tired of getting all these comments about a company that from my social media serious. The only thing they take serious is their ambassadors.
[08:40] And it's hard for me because like yes, they would pay me as an ambassador, but I am a marketing guy first, a YouTuber second. I know how to treat a company. I know how to run social media from a company perspective. That's what I do
[08:54] for a living. It was hard for me to just sit back and watch them, for a lack of better words, take this perfect product that is, like I said, literally perfect. video in such a light-hearted way. The
[09:06] will not have any of these complaints that I have because you're not going to to be using the product. The product great. I have no complaints about the for the company and how they plan to market the product and how they plan to
[09:20] they could have taken over easily by now. These things is why I have to go my separate ways with Nexus. So, here on out, you're going to see no videos products for that matter. I will never promote gamer. What what's a G-Fuel or
[09:37] been offered multiple different sponsorships from companies like that. these corny sponsorships I will never do. I only ever did Nexus for the doing those even though the reasons I still respect the reasons and I
[09:52] have regret for doing that. So, the only thing that I would ever push on to anyone is my free course. I've been working on my free course for the past, got this Nexus sponsorship, I've been working on my own website, taking this
[10:06] opportunity to build my own website, which is twatterboost.com. I don't know videos, you probably see me talk about my Patreon. This is basically me replacing my Patreon with this new website. The main difference is I have a
[10:19] website. The main difference is I have a free course here now, which I need to have any advice for how the website should look, if any questions about the really appreciate it if you DM me any feedback on X, you know, at Twitterive.
[10:33] The prices are cheaper if you subscribe annually. Obviously, there's multiple full-time streamer. All these courses are related to how to make money with streaming and things like that. That's why I made twerboost.com. Everything is
[10:46] designed to help teach you marketing to a point where you can apply it to your streams and treat your streaming career like a business so that you can start but start making money every single month and turn that into a solid income
[11:00] when you're using social media platforms like Tik Tok and YouTube and things that I help you set up to funnel traffic into your Twitch, that's going to be building going to be more income streams. basically meaning that you're going to
[11:13] be doing social media for a living, social media for a job, and making money off of social media instead of whatever you're doing now. That is the goal with this course. That is what I do. That is how I help streamers. That's my
[11:25] you for the most part is to help you grow to a point where you are reaching more people, to help you keep growing, not only on Twitch or Kick or whatever all social media platforms so that you can help make money from all these
[11:38] because between me and you, it's a lot easier to make money on YouTube than it is streaming platforms like Twitch, Kick, etc. Also, I have multiple different success stories, things like that. You can go through and read and
[11:51] free course. I would appreciate it greatly if you go and check it out. And that's the only thing that I ever plan to promote on my YouTube ever again. Even if another company like Nexus reaches out where like they have a great
[12:03] willing to work with any company as far as marketing and setting up like, you want to stay away from being an ambassador and sponsorships and things something that I align with and it's not something that I want to show you guys
[12:17] want you to be confident in knowing that anything that I tell you is to tell you because you need to hear it, not because I'm being paid to tell you, if that and you want to work with me or you have any questions, message me on x at
[12:30] you want to work with me like you know how I was just talking about working establish anything or if you have ideas about companies or you want to hire me for any type of marketing related anything companies only don't email me
[12:43] if you're a streamer only message me on here if you're a streamer only email me if you're a company looking to work with me in some type of serious aspect and if you want to jump straight into my management jump straight into my courses
[12:56] and get my free course you can do so on twaterboost.com again thank you so much my goal of 100,000 subscribers, I'm going to be doing a draw my life video I got started with marketing, my rough upbringing, all of a bunch of stuff that
[13:08] talking about. But it's going to be good to tell my story and to tell you guys life, with hard work and dedication, you can be successful. again. Thank you.
