7:21[00:00] oh hey guys my name is a metal goblin
[00:12] and today I'm going to be counting down
[00:13] the top 10 add-ons you need for raiding
[00:15] in classic Wow
[00:17] just Before we jump in guys please do
[00:19] give me a quick Florent which I'll be
[00:21] streaming a lot of my rating over quite
[00:23] soon so for the first add-on I want to
[00:25] get a little bit of a topic out of the
[00:26] way because I'm going to be talking
[00:27] about DBM my general recommendation with
[00:30] deadly boss modes is I wouldn't
[00:31] recommend downloading it until you've at
[00:34] least done 4 dungeons and the raids at
[00:36] least once
[00:37] the thing is DBM makes the raids
[00:39] ridiculously easy and obviously in
[00:41] vanilla
[00:42] especially during phase 1 the mechanics
[00:44] are fairly limited so I'd recommend
[00:45] jumping into the raids without deadly
[00:48] boss modes active for your first trial
[00:50] and then when you've got the Reds on
[00:52] farm then yeah fair enough download
[00:54] download deadly boss mode that when we
[00:55] progressed into phase free when the
[00:57] raids get a little bit more difficult
[00:58] and again you know that would be my
[01:01] recommendation to get deadly boss modes
[01:03] of always you are just making raids a
[01:04] little bit too easy for yourself
[01:05] basically so that's my German
[01:07] recommendation anyway let's move on next
[01:09] I'm going to show you a very simple
[01:10] threat add-on which is extremely
[01:12] essential it's called classic threat
[01:14] meter so I'm going to get into combat to
[01:16] kind of show this out and off as you can
[01:18] see I have the main thing you pay
[01:20] attention to when it comes to framing
[01:21] afraid front knee is here and the main
[01:23] thing you really pay attention to is the
[01:25] percentage on the right so you obviously
[01:28] don't want to pull threats off a tank
[01:30] which means you avoid going to hundred
[01:32] percent because you have 100 percent
[01:33] that means you're gonna Paul fret so
[01:37] before I move on I won't need to talk
[01:39] about obviously at Nick's ear a lot of
[01:40] time in a nick seer a raid leader will
[01:42] tell you to only do wide damage or very
[01:44] slow damage on a Nick's here but um the
[01:46] thing is if the worry knows how to play
[01:47] is class and that rogue knows how to
[01:49] play his class
[01:50] the rogue or any other DPS shouldn't
[01:52] pull aggro from the warrior okay
[01:54] especially if you're a rogue in all
[01:56] honesty if I go boss the wall of my DPS
[01:59] I never pull aggro off via tank anyway
[02:02] without even using faint but obviously I
[02:05] need this fret meter installed just to
[02:07] be on the safe side
[02:09] event like if I start pulling too much
[02:11] fret for now he's a feint I'll use a
[02:12] vanish it basically means I can optimize
[02:14] my DPS much more by obviously keeping
[02:17] the read safe by not pulling aggro from
[02:19] the tank next I don't we have is we
[02:21] cores which is a really big extensive
[02:23] add-on which would take me you know an
[02:25] individual with video for me to fully
[02:27] cover basically we core is what it was
[02:29] do it will show certain animations on
[02:31] the screen certain colors whatever you
[02:33] want when certain things happen that's
[02:35] kind of like the shorthand of it really
[02:38] so you can say for instance if you
[02:40] you're one of your abilities procs you
[02:42] can put something in the screen to
[02:44] display that or what needs more use for
[02:47] is when boss bosses do certain thing so
[02:50] for instance when bosses go into
[02:51] different phases when boss has gained
[02:53] certain buffs and when a certain
[02:55] specific mechanics gone on in the raid
[02:57] when you can display a little
[02:58] notification on the screen to remind you
[03:00] of that happening so it makes raiding
[03:03] much much easier
[03:04] again it's not think it's essential and
[03:06] phase one because the raids are so easy
[03:08] but when we start progressing into you
[03:10] know phase free and garage especially
[03:13] now drummers then this add-on will
[03:14] probably see a lot more use and the next
[03:17] item I'm gonna show you is one of my
[03:18] favorite items it's called tell me when
[03:20] so what it is is a little bar here where
[03:22] you can display certain buffs you can
[03:24] just you can keep track of debuff us as
[03:26] well or enemy buffs literally everything
[03:29] can be tracked we have tell me when the
[03:31] main thing I use this for is mainly
[03:33] tracking my own like kinda buffs like
[03:35] slice and dice for it's a pretty
[03:37] straightforward you right-click it you
[03:39] know you're putting your buffs here and
[03:41] then you kind of put a timer on and then
[03:44] like now if I go into combat I will
[03:47] basically get like a little slice and
[03:49] dice time I so I can track precisely
[03:51] when I need to refresh slice and dice
[03:53] next add-on is an extremely useful
[03:55] add-on primarily for healers and it's
[03:58] called D cursive as you can see this
[03:59] little box here is and basically that is
[04:02] displaying a individual player and
[04:05] basically if I had more players like in
[04:07] my group there would be little different
[04:09] boxes and they will display like
[04:11] different colors thing on what kind of
[04:13] debuff they have for instance if it
[04:15] occurs
[04:16] poison effect magic effect disease
[04:19] effect and therefore you can very
[04:21] quickly and easily start the cursing
[04:23] people a lot of the time in raiding
[04:26] situations d cursing someone is even
[04:29] more important by naturally healing them
[04:31] to top health so that is something to
[04:33] bear in mind so next I'm going to talk
[04:35] about two add-ons that go kind of
[04:37] hand-in-hand the very classic order
[04:39] durations and Omni CC basic classic
[04:41] horror durations will display d buffs on
[04:44] the target which you know classic
[04:46] doesn't do by default and Omni CC takes
[04:48] a little bit further by making like big
[04:50] crowd control effects and easier to see
[04:53] with a little timer because classic aura
[04:54] durations doesn't show a timer on the
[04:57] enemy unit frame bobs the Omni CC also
[05:00] doesn't show duration so you need to
[05:02] stack these two add-ons together to get
[05:04] the maximum like usefulness out of it so
[05:06] for instance if I'm gonna stop this guy
[05:08] here I can see that timer there I can
[05:10] also see it down there and you know if I
[05:12] stun this target here I can also see it
[05:16] that so that's classic Omni CC but then
[05:18] like if I display if I do some D bobs
[05:21] which I'm pretty sure I don't actually
[05:23] have cuz I'm not trained to them but if
[05:24] I use gouge like that you know I can see
[05:25] gouge there if Ed crippling poison now
[05:28] it also here to see stuff live down so
[05:30] Bob's your uncle
[05:31] the next item we have is another one of
[05:33] my favorites it's very simply called
[05:35] character stats classic and what it will
[05:37] do is display detailed information in
[05:40] the character window you know of your
[05:41] stats pretty much exactly what you get
[05:44] from retail so as you can see in this
[05:46] mellow window here I can see my precise
[05:48] crit chance I can see my hit chance if I
[05:51] go to defenses I can see like everything
[05:54] individually rather than go into the
[05:55] spell book and it's just generally a lot
[05:58] more useful and you know I can even see
[06:00] mana regeneration and stuff like that
[06:02] the next item we have a very quick one
[06:04] it's called real mob health what it does
[06:07] is pretty much what it says on the tin
[06:09] as you can see my enemy unit frame on
[06:11] this anvil rage overseer I can see
[06:14] precisely myself and very creepily it is
[06:16] four sixes but oh well think the Baron
[06:19] mind of this add-on is it can sometimes
[06:21] be kind of inaccurate if it doesn't have
[06:23] the health data or sometimes basically
[06:25] when you get into combat and kill and
[06:27] what can collate what bar enemy's health
[06:30] was based on my mouth damage he did
[06:32] before it died and then the next time
[06:33] you got to kill that mob you will build
[06:35] you'll basically have the data for that
[06:37] mob but this is an add-on I recommend to
[06:40] keep up to date because obviously the
[06:43] database over time is updating so you
[06:46] will get more detailed information on
[06:48] different mobs and their health balls so
[06:50] to display the next on I need to quickly
[06:52] get into combat with this fire guard
[06:54] because it's very simple I don't it is
[06:55] called classic cast bars and when this
[06:59] fire guard
[07:00] gets out of you know a storm he'll
[07:02] probably start casting scorch of me and
[07:04] they can very clearly see the casbah
[07:06] right underneath his uniform and they're
[07:11] guys but worried in fact this one was
[07:13] not going to be a cast bomb but as you
[07:14] can see it's pretty much exactly the
[07:16] same as it is in retail so but it's
[07:18] definitely very very very useful but hey
[07:21] guys the reason why I am in BRD killing
[07:23] fire guards is because we have a very
[07:25] slight chance to drop an extremely
[07:28] expensive reagent called thanks
[07:31] elemental was elemental fire and vision
[07:33] of one that is like as a similar surname
[07:36] to it but it's a white item visa fee
[07:38] there's like two items I dropped from
[07:40] fire guards which sell for about four
[07:42] gold each on my server so I've been in
[07:44] here pickpocketing and killing fire
[07:46] guards it is a pretty effective way to
[07:48] make money as a rogue or possibly any
[07:50] other cost but anyway about is just a
[07:52] little bonus icing on the cake rambling
[07:54] point at the end of this video but I is
[07:56] where I'm gonna end the video so my name
[07:58] is Ahmet a couple into my next video
[07:59] ciao
[08:03] you
