How to Easily Sell Coloring Books on Amazon: A Tutorial

[00:01] on Amazon are making almost $10,000 each? I'm talking per listing. Each of these individual coloring books, many of them are making almost $10,000. And many

[00:13] others are making many thousands of dollars per month. And this is a really easy opportunity to get into selling on Amazon. And there are two main reasons why it is so easy. One is because you can do print on demand with these books,

[00:27] which means that you do not need to spend a penny on inventory. You don't need to buy product and store it yourself. You can just create the coloring book and list it on Amazon. And then whenever somebody purchases a copy

[00:39] of it, it will get printed and sent to them without you ever having to touch the product, which is not only really convenient, but it also means that your risk for this business opportunity is super low. The second reason why I love

[00:52] coloring books are really easy to create, especially if you use some of you in today's video. And they are really fun and creative. So, I think it's a really like feelgood business opportunity. I know my kids love

[01:07] creating a really good quality coloring book that other kids are going to get to shoot straight with you guys, though, and there is one big challenge with selling coloring books on Amazon, and that is that it might be somewhat

[01:22] competition for these coloring books because they are so easy to make. But fortunately, there is also a solution to this problem. There is a way that you can create coloring books that will stand out from the crowd, rank well on

[01:35] Amazon, and not only that, but that will make people want to buy coloring books from your brand over and over again. a way that you can create loyal customers which will make your brand sustainable, your business sustainable for the long

[01:49] don't just mean something that you can keep doing, but something that will keep generating revenue for you long term, keep making you money long term, and actually be able to grow over time. It won't be something that's easily

[02:02] replaced by another business, but instead will be something that has like takes on a life of its own. So, that's what I'm going to show you how to do in today's video. complete tutorial on how to design and list these books on Amazon

[02:16] so that you can start making money online with this fun and easy business idea. So, if you want your coloring book to stand out on Amazon, then the first thing you need to do is have a really good idea. So, that is where we are

[02:29] going to start today. We are going to be doing some research to find a popular topic. Because here's what I found when it comes to creating products that rise above the competition. First of all, you need to latch on to an idea that is

[02:42] popular. So, what are some terms that people are currently searching for on Amazon? Now, to figure this out, we can use Book Bolt's keyword search tool. And if you're not familiar with Book Bolt, it is a great tool for creating low and

[02:55] medium content books that you self-publish on Amazon. So, I've used it in the past to create some different journals and also some medium content workbooks that have actually quite a bit of content in them, but they also have

[03:07] can also use it, as we're going to use it in today's video, to create coloring books. And recently, they've also released some new AI features for Book Bolt that allow you to create children's books, children's story books. And I

[03:22] think we'll take a peek at that later on as well. But anyway, we're going to come in here to the keyword search feature in Bookbolt because we need to find some popular topics because that is the first ingredient to finding a product idea

[03:36] that is going to both be popular but also stand out. So popular, but not competition. So all I'm doing here is searching for the term coloring book so that I can see what other more specific terms people are actually looking up on

[03:52] Amazon. So, I'm going to search this by search volume so that I can see the very most popular terms that people are searching. And some of the ones that I notice here are just adult coloring books and Bobby coloring book, berry

[04:05] coloring book, Chibis coloring book, geomorphia coloring book is really your coloring book to have the second essential ingredient for standing out from the crowd, then we will actually

[04:18] So, more on that in a few minutes, but let's look for something where we could actually have some characters. So, here we've got bird watching coloring book. There's maybe an opportunity there. Dinoand coloring book.

[04:37] Cozy coloring book. There's certainly a little bit of an opportunity there. see, even though I'm clicking through this list and kind of passing over some

[04:49] of the more popular terms, there are still many thousands of searches per month for these terms. So, it's okay. It's more important to find the right sort of niche for this coloring book than it is to find just the most popular

[05:02] topic. Oceans coloring book could be a good one. book. So, there are lots of good opportunities there, but I have an idea

[05:15] up princess coloring book because I've got a couple little girls right now and think that this will work really well mind. And what I'm seeing here is that

[05:28] there are several thousand searches per month for princess coloring books. Each specific term has one or 2,000 searches, but altogether there are quite a few different princess coloring book searches per month. And how this is

[05:40] going to help us is that if we can create a specific character and a then we will be able to make our coloring book stand out from the others that are a lot more generic, but we can also then get repeat buyers. So, now

[05:55] research to confirm that there is demand for the idea that I had, and of course, you can use it to just find an idea if you don't already have an idea. Now, we're going to do step two, which is to format the book. So to do this, I'm just

[06:09] going to click on Bookbolt Studio right here to open up the Bookbolt designer. when you come into the Book Bolt designer is to click on project and open a new project so you can make sure it is configured properly. So we're going to

[06:22] obviously coloring books are normally paperback. And we want to choose cover and interior. And then you have the question of is this going to be a lowc content book or are you going to generate it with the AI story generator?

[06:36] So, we're going to start out with the low content book so I can show you how you can generate the images for the coloring book itself. However, we're AI story generator because I have a really fun idea for how you can use that

[06:50] really fun idea for how you can use that to make your coloring book be a lot more compelling and really motivate people to want to buy your book instead of the low content book. And we're just going to call this princess coloring book

[07:06] example. And now we need to choose a size. And kind of like the size of a printer paper. So I'm going to choose the 8 and 1/2 and 11. And I do want it to have white paper. So I'm choosing the black

[07:19] and white interior with white paper. And obviously we don't want colored pictures in our coloring book, right? And then bleed or no bleed. I'm choosing bleed because, and I can maybe link a tutorial on this below so you can understand this

[07:34] bleed, then the picture is able to go all the way to the edge of the pages, which is what I want for the coloring book. Now, page count. We do not want a 100page book. We are going to be able to like have the best profit margin and

[07:49] have this book be the easiest to create if it's only in the range of like 25 to 30 or so pages. I'm going to just go ahead and go with 26 pages for now and click create project. Okay, so here's the project

[08:01] looking at right now is the cover for the book. And so this will be the back cover. This will be the front cover. And we will come back to this part a little bit later on. But for right now, what we are going to do is start working on the

[08:14] are going to do is start working on the interior pages. Now, for the very first page, you might want to add a cover page design that says the title of the book again. And then the second page will of course be the back of that page. So for

[08:27] pages blank as well. And I'm going to jump to page three, which is where the first actual coloring page will be. Although you certainly could put it on going to do is we are going to actually open up the AI tool. And so when you

[08:41] here, there are two different AI tools that are here. The image generator and choose the image generator because we just want to make some um some coloring

[08:53] pages for this book. We aren't generating a story right now. So, the doing precise or fast. And I would recommend choosing precise because we want these to be pretty high quality, right? I think that it is so much better

[09:08] for a variety of reasons to create higher quality content rather than more lower quality content. You'll have h happier customers. you'll get better the stuff you're putting out there into the world. And ultimately, it will

[09:22] probably lead to more income in the end. Anyway, now, as for the prompt, what we want to do for this is we want a pretty detailed prompt. So, I'm actually going to hop over here into chat GPT and I'm going to ask it to write me a detailed

[09:36] prompt. Um because I have tested this out and if you use a really simple prompt like if I just said um princess in a castle then the end image often going to ask chat GBT to write a lot more words a lot more description of

[09:52] what this image should be like. Okay. So here we have it. AI has written this detailed description for me. And of course you could just write this yourself. It is a little faster for the AI to do it. But if you have a specific

[10:05] then you will want to type it in yourself. So now we are going to come just going to put this prompt in here. And I'm going to choose portrait here because obviously we want this image, this coloring book page to fill up the

[10:20] whole page that we have in this vertical format. Now I am going to have it that we can make sure that we get a really good result here. And then we are just going to choose change style. This is important for the coloring book. Book

[10:34] you can generate the images in if you something like that. But we're going to scroll down and choose the coloring book style. And then we will generate the images. Okay. So after just a few

[10:48] moments here, the AI has generated these images. And the first thing I'm going to do is look through them and just look for any obvious problems like you know sort of thing. So this one looks pretty good. Um, she her hands look pretty

[11:02] good. There's nothing too crazy weird going on with her hair. And I love the level of detail that has been included here. And then also sometimes you can run into a problem with AI generating coloring the book pages where it

[11:14] includes a lot of shading and it makes it grayscale instead of black and white. going on here, but I don't think that it's too much to detract from the ability to use this as a coloring book page. And actually having a little bit

[11:29] of shading can make the end product of the colored page end up looking nicer. So that's the first one. And then the second one here, there is kind of a lot princess here, which could make it not

[11:42] as good for coloring. And then I also noticed that this um right hand of hers looks like it might be a little bit odd. Um but overall it still is very nice. Um but overall it still is very nice. And then this one looks pretty good. I'm

[11:56] probably missing something like obvious and you guys will tell me in the something like that. I do notice that her forearm looks a little bit oddly long, but other than that, it looks pretty good. Okay, and here's the last

[12:10] one. And this one, this hand looks a little strange. So, of these ones, I would just want to choose the best one, obviously. However, if more than one of them are great, then I could choose more than one of them. I also, of course,

[12:24] want images that are fairly different um from each other. And ideally, it's nice same person just doing different things. So, I'm just going to go ahead and download these files. I'm going to

[12:38] download I'm going to add this one to the page. And then we're going to go back here into the AI image generator. And we can have those images here anymore. But I'm going to also add this one well to

[12:51] another page. Let me go back over here. Now, this is a really important point here. Actually, I'm not going to put on page 4 because with KDP, which we're going to be using to print these on demand, the page quality, it is what it

[13:05] is. It's fine, but it's not as thick as you would ideally want in a coloring book. So, if you put the second image on the back of this page, which that is what page four would be. it' be the back of the same page. Then you will only be

[13:20] able to color one of these, especially if the child uses markers to color them. They might be able to get away with it with colored pencils or crayons, but I quality as we can. So, we're going to leave the back of page three blank. And

[13:34] we're going to jump down here to page five and click on the AI, click on the image generator so that we can add this image right here to that page. So, I'm just going to click on the download button and then click um add to page and

[13:47] might notice that right now it's not quite filling up the whole page. And so, all we need to do here is just drag it until it does. And I noticed that here it is cropping the image a little bit. So, you can decide if that is a problem

[14:02] the bottom of her skirt. And so, she is very much filling up that page. And I think that that is fine. But we also we could decide that well maybe we mostly want like this top part of the picture. We could do it like this or we could go

[14:15] in with the square aspect ratio instead. So let's try that out for page seven here. So again going into the image generator and let's use the exact same um prompt here, but we're just going to change it to square and see if that ends

[14:29] up fitting on the page just a tiny bit better. Okay. So we'll just click through these images really quickly. This one I wouldn't use because of what this bodice area looks like. That one, her hands are hidden, so no

[14:43] problems there. Um, and this one looks pretty fine. I think I'll go ahead and use Oh, this hand looks kind of odd. Now, I will say that if you have an little problem like that, you certainly could pop it into Photoshop or into

[14:57] Canva and you could make some manual edits. Obviously, that adds a little bit more time, but I think that it is worth it if there's an image that you really like. And of course, we want the quality to be there, right? So that the

[15:09] customers are super happy. And so, I noticed that each of these has a little bit of a problem. This one, I don't see any obvious problems aside from a little think I'll go ahead and add this one to

[15:22] the page, and we'll see how this ends up fitting on those 8 1/2 by 11 pages. Okay. So, here we have it. And I'm just going to stretch it out. And you know, the reason why it's hard to say which is going to work better is

[15:36] just because depending on what how the image itself ends up getting laid out and like the subject of the image, how vertical or horizontal it is. And in this case with this kind of more horizontal uh subject here in the

[15:50] picture, it's working better to use this square image style. Okay. So, I think you can see how you could go through and add images like this to every page of occasionally hit the save button. I know it has autosave turned on, but just to

[16:07] that. And I'll also just go back up here to the first one that I added. And I'll just also make this one be the correct size.

[16:26] keep in mind is these green trim lines. So, what these mean is that the page can get trimmed up to as small as this. And this is because like the trimming process, I guess, is not a exact science. And so, you might see any of

[16:41] the parts of the image that are in that range um or that area of the image, but make sure that you don't put anything important there, but also that there is image there, you know, up to the edges so that there doesn't end up being any

[16:56] like awkward white spaces. Okay. So, obviously, you don't have to make your coloring book about anything you'd like. And you could create the images with the AI image generator here in Bookbolt, or you could use a

[17:09] different tool, or you could even hire an illustrator if you want to. that how you do this, but I love how easy Bookbolt makes it just to format the to fit perfectly and get printed perfectly with the Kindle Direct

[17:25] Publishing, which is what KDP is um that KDP publishing process. So, it makes there. All right. Now, the next thing that we are going to look at here is how to design the cover for this book. And then after this, I want to show you how

[17:40] you can use that AI story generator to potentially make your coloring book even more awesome. Or if you want to actually make a children's story, there are some really cool opportunities there as well. So for the cover, what I'm going to try

[17:53] doing is just using the image generator itself, and I'm going to use the same prompt. Now, if you were making this entire book, you certainly would want to vary your prompt so that you have more variety with your images, right? But for

[18:07] the cover, I want to use the same prompt because I want it to look similar to want it to look like a coloring book page. I do want it to be a colored picture. So, I am going to leave it set. Actually, I think I'll change it to

[18:21] cover the front and the back of the book. Probably we will need to be a we'll give that a try. And then we're going to change the style. I want it to look, you know, like a colored picture ideally. Um, so let's scroll through

[18:36] these and see which one will be the best option. It might be the cartoon. Let's let's give that a try. Actually, let's use illustration because I don't want it to look too cartoony. Like I still want our princess to look like a princess, if

[18:51] the first image that it came up with. And the first thing that I'm noticing is that it is still black and white. And that is totally my fault because the um prompt I forgot that it was for a coloring book page. So I think that we

[19:06] coloring book page. So I think that we need to get rid of all of this part here need to get rid of all of this part here and we can leave that last part. Um I Include clear distinct lines with moderate detail. So let's give this a

[19:21] try and see if we can get this to work for us. Okay. So now we're looking at something pretty different. What I do like here though is that we've got obviously a very beautiful princess and it still does match to some degree the

[19:33] style that we see inside the book. She's wearing a similar sort of style of dress and a similar sort of of castle. And so this should work pretty well for us while still giving this book um a really amazing cover. Maybe with the wrong

[19:46] number of fingers though. So I guess we won't be using that one there. Like I creative. So I think I like this first image the best. So, I'm going to see if we can get this one to work. So, I'm going to go ahead and add this to my

[19:59] And we'll just make it a lot bigger and we'll see how we can do this. I'm actually going to try to center this window for the front cover because I

[20:11] think that that will make this look like it's framed well. But then I'm going to crop this picture so that um it only is for the front cover. And then we're going to do something slightly different for the back cover.

[20:30] think that I will make it so that it does go over the binding. Now, for the back cover, we have a couple options. One option would be to use maybe this same image. And we could actually just duplicate the image.

[20:47] Now, I have two of them. And we could use the other half of the image. So, if I click this crop button and I add this part back and then we bring it over here. So, it's covering the back. But then we crop the other side of it. So,

[21:01] it's just right here. And we could even make this because I see we see the tiniest little bit of her dress. So, I'll stop cropping there. We could make I'll stop cropping there. We could make it bigger so that we don't have that.

[21:14] look consistent with the front here, like make it be a complete picture. I'm here. option because I don't know if I love this option here.

[21:29] And I think if I was going to do it this way, I would probably add a colored band here on the border so that it doesn't look like, you know, this picture that doesn't quite match. So we'd add a rectangle for the the spine of the book

[21:43] rectangle for the the spine of the book itself. this. And I'm going to use the eyropper and choose a color from maybe on her

[22:00] dress here cuz she has this nice pink dress. So now we have a color for the spine that kind of matches this picture for the book. And if we were going to do this, then we would also want to add some text to the front cover to say what

[22:13] this is. So, we'll add a heading and we're going to put it over here. We're definitely going to change the font and everything, but we could just say, you know, as simple as princess coloring book.

[22:27] But I think it would actually be nicer probably if this just said maybe like probably if this just said maybe like princesses or maybe just princess. And we make this part really large and with just a

[22:41] probably something that looks kind of royal, formal.

[23:01] Okay. And then, like I said, we'll make it a lot bigger here. It might be nice actually if it was a script font.

[23:30] reduce the opacity a little bit because I don't want it to like look too harsh. But I will make it still quite a bit bigger.

[23:47] add the words coloring book as well. So we'll just duplicate this.

[24:14] something that looks pretty nice here. And as far as I was also mentioning that the back. Let me just show you one option I have in mind, which is that the back could be a solid color. And you could add text here about, you know,

[24:27] and it could be a bright color like this, but it also could maybe just be um black. And then we could make it somewhat transparent like this. So that trying to be the same as the front of the book, a cohesive picture, but we

[24:43] could still add that text and that could be nice. So, now we have a cover for our book and we are almost ready. Um, we would want to add more images to it, but I'm just going to jump to the next step, which would be downloading the book.

[24:57] then we'll go look at that other idea that I have for you. So, all you need to download and then you are going to be downloading this for a print book because that's what we are talking about doing. And we want to download the

[25:11] entire project. You choose current project CM YK for printed books and then it is going to start downloading for you. And when it downloads it is going to download the cover image separately from the interior of the book because

[25:24] from the interior of the book because when you upload it to Amazon KDP you upload the cover separately from the interior of the book. Now if you want a complete tutorial for how to upload the book to Amazon, Book Bolt actually has a

[25:37] here where it says while you wait, learn how to upload to Amazon KDP step by step and it opened up this video here from Bookbolt that is a very detailed walkthrough of exactly how to upload it to KDP. Um, we will take a quick look at

[25:54] this just so you can see what I'm talking about. Um, but for the detailed tutorial, um, I would recommend watching Bookbolt's video which I will be sure to link down below as well. So, I'm just going to go to katp.amazon.com.

[26:07] amazon.com and I'm already signed into my account right here. And you can see books that I've published in the past here um over the years. And all you have to do is to create a new title or series. You just click this yellow

[26:21] button right here. And then you want to choose that you're creating a paperback book and you click create paperback. And then it's going to pull up the I don't basically where you get to put in all the information. So, you just put in

[26:33] like your book title and if it's part of a series and you don't need to put in an addition number. You put in your name as the author. And then you put in a description for the book and that it is public um that you own the copyright,

[26:46] which you do because you created it. And then down here there is a question about um is it a lowc content book? And no, it's not. A coloring book is not a low that you will need to be careful about is um and I think it's on the second

[27:01] now without filling all these things out. But it does ask you about whether definitely want to be transparent about that if you do use the AI image generator and tell Amazon that it was.

[27:15] Amazon doesn't penalize you for that, but you want to make sure that you, you that. Okay. So, let's go back over to Book Bolt. And it has finished okay there. And we're going to pull this

[27:28] up and find the files so that I can show you what it actually gives you. So, I'm going into my downloads folder. And here's the zip file that it gave me. And you'll see inside that we've got the cover and the interior. So, here is the

[27:41] exactly like it looked over on Bookbolt, but I do notice a couple things. One is that um I ended up coming up with this dark background, which I think I like a lot better. Um, and this image that it is showing me, it has the colored

[27:56] background. And that's why I said it is important that you click save because you'll want to make sure you click save before you download it. I also notice that down here, I don't know how well you guys can see this, but that um I

[28:10] didn't pull this image all the way down to the bottom of the design. And now So, that's why you always want to double check your designs and make sure you know that they are good to go. And you will also have the opportunity after

[28:23] publishing it on KDP over here to order a sample copy. And I would recommend that you do that again so that you can make sure that the quality really is there. It only costs a couple dollars to order that sample. Normally I would say

[28:36] right around $4 depending on what the book is, but it is well worth it because made some sort of mistake that you didn't notice in the digital copy. Now, like this in that print copy that you get, then you can just come back in here

[28:51] know, just make whatever edits you need to make and then download those files again and then upload the new version of the cover or the interior, whichever it the cover or the interior, whichever it is, to KDP and then you can go ahead and

[29:06] not a big deal, but you definitely should get that print sample copy. Okay, I've been kind of teasing the whole time, which is use the story generator

[29:18] to make a children's story book. I know that's not the main topic of today's video, but I think it's a really cool opportunity. And I have an interesting this with your coloring book. There aren't quite all the pieces there yet to

[29:32] do exactly what I want to do, which is why this tutorial isn't about that, but maybe soon we will have this opportunity. So, what we're going to do project. So again, we're going to say all the same things. We're going to go

[29:45] ahead and use the AI story generator this time. Although you can start with the low content book and then click on that story generator here and still get access to these features. And I'm going to just let it be 24 pages like it

[29:59] defaulted to and click create project. Now this is the story generator right here. and you plug some information into it. And what it does is it actually writes a story via AI. We'll talk more about what you can do about that, what

[30:15] minute here. But it's going to write a story for you with AI. It's going to use whatever character you tell it to use and it is going to use the title and any additional prompt that you give to it. And importantly, it is able to actually

[30:32] make a consistent character for all of the images for your book. So, what we're going to do here is first choose um a title. And I'm going to go with life in

[30:44] the castle because I'm still going with my princess theme here. 24 pages. We want the illustrations above and the text below. That's how I'm thinking to options. You can do full page illustrations with text overlay or the

[30:58] illustration and the text on separate pages. Um, and it it doesn't matter very with that one. Actually, we want it in English. It can write in some other language. The story template is we are going to go with a fairy tale just

[31:13] because it is a princess story. Um, and you get to choose what kind of like moral you want it to be conveying, what lessons you want it to teach. And so the curious since this is about like life in the castle. Like what is a princess's

[31:28] life in the castle like? Um and then the moral or lesson, I don't have a very just go with kindness because that feels kind of generic and I like the idea of the princess being kind. Now again, I'm going to go and ask ChatgPT for a little

[31:44] bit of help here. So Bookbolt's story generator already has a lot of parameters built into it. So I am just going to um give it this first part that is the story concept and we will see what it can do with that. So we're just

[31:58] going to pop this in right here. And then we get to design the character. I think this part is pretty fun. Um we are going to go with a human child. I have played around a little bit with is it better to say a human child or custom.

[32:11] Um since I don't necessarily want this to be a child, maybe a grown princess would be better. But for the character name, how about we go with Isabelle? have learned because it can only be up to 10 characters. And we have these four

[32:26] styles. Now, this is the reason why we can't do what I would really like to do. what I really would like to do, which is to have a story book that is also a coloring book. And the I got this idea from a coloring book that I got for my

[32:40] kids with that is like that. Um, every page is a coloring book page, but there also is a story that runs through the book a few sentences below each picture that, yes, tells a story. I really like that idea because it would allow you to

[32:56] create a coloring book that is a bit more unique compared to the competition and would really stand out. Right now, Bookbolt doesn't offer this option, unfortunately. Now, there certainly are some ways you could get around this by

[33:09] now, I'm just going to show you how you can use the story book creator so that you can get an idea of where you might be able to go with this. So, I'm going

[33:21] to choose the watercolor option because I think that'll be nice for the princess idea. And I think that I will just leave all of these different options the way they are set. Green eyes, light skin, black hair, blue outfit, except for this

[33:34] one. I think I'll go with silver because I think she will look more princess-like if she doesn't have a blue and yellow outfit on. So, we'll choose blue and silver. And then

[33:47] I think that I'll just leave it at that. So, what you do next is you generate the character because you want to make sure that you have the character. Um, oh, and I'm realizing I missed something. I need to tell it that it is a princess. So,

[33:59] quite what I want and I will need to regenerate it here. Yeah. So, she doesn't really look like a princess. So, we're gonna change this to a be a tall, beautiful princess. [laughter]

[34:12] And we'll see what it can give us now. Okay. So, this is much more what I was thinking. Like I said, it is giving us a child, which may or may not be what we are actually looking for. Um, for the sake of example here, I'll show you what

[34:26] happens. Um, if we don't do that, we'll say tall, beautiful princess, um, wearing a blue and silver dress

[34:38] a blue and silver dress with long flowing hair. Okay, let's see what it comes up with now.

[34:52] taken away the options for like choosing the hair color and the eye color, etc. and I didn't tell it what color, so it has ended up making her blonde. So, you want, and you can keep doing this until you come up with a character you really

[35:04] like. You could also include a lot more details to make her be a different size or shape or color or anything that you like. Of all these, I think I actually going to choose this one. And then we're going to click generate content. Now,

[35:18] do is write a story. Now, I don't know how you feel about AI generated stories, but I feel a little weird about it. Um, of meaning. I think that it's cool that we can use AI to write a story. But what

[35:32] I like to use this tool for so far is just to kind of create this template with this consistent character and then we can write over it whatever story we want to write. And that's what I'm going to show you here how to do. Okay. So, it

[35:47] took a little less than a minute and now we have the story. And so how this is laid out is each of these little sections here is one page of the book and it has the text that will be on the page and then we will be able to

[35:59] generate the illustration for that page. And it doesn't generate them all at once because you might want to make some changes to the prompt or to um the text for the p the page or some other aspect of this. And you also can choose like

[36:13] whether you want it to be enhanced or not. and it costs quite a few credits to generate all of the images here. So, a couple things. Now, we have all 24 pages of this book laid out. And you might like the story it came up with. You

[36:27] things. Or maybe you have your own story that you want to write. You could write and then just come in here and click edit text and change each of these to be the right text for that page actually. Now, the reason why you would want to do

[36:42] it this way is so that you can have this consistent character, which is something with AI to get it to create a consistent I'm not going to change the story at all. I'm just going to show you how you

[36:54] the first prompt says, "A castle nestled in rolling hills at sunrise with golden and pink hues. Isabelle is looking out window." Now, I'm going to edit this we're going to move this first part to the beginning because to have the most

[37:09] consistent character, um, I was having a little bit of trouble with this and I they told me that the secret to having the most consistent character is to put the characters at handle at the very beginning. So Isabelle is looking out a

[37:23] beginning. So Isabelle is looking out a window um of a castle nestled in rolling hills at sunrise with golden and pink hues. Okay. So, we're going to save that prompt and then we're going to click enhance because that is the other secret

[37:36] And then we're just going to click generate illustration and wait for the AI to work. Okay, so here we have this first image for the first page of the book. Now, let's try the second one out. It says Isabelle the young princess

[37:49] awoke to the sound of chirping birds and the smell of fresh morning dew. Um, so Same thing. We're just going to move this part to the front. And I'm sure there will probably at some point be a time when it does this itself, but for

[38:04] now, this is the way to get the best results. So, um, Isabelle is yawning, stretching, and smiling at birds outside, outside, um, of maybe I'll say her cozy bedroom

[38:16] with morning light streaming in uh, shortly shortly after she woke up. Okay, save the prompt, click that enhanced button, and then we'll generate

[38:31] this illustration. Okay, so something that I notice now that we have these two images is that the mood doesn't quite translate. Maybe here she's looking a translate. Maybe here she's looking a little sullen, quiet. Um, here she now

[38:43] is waking up. She looks very exuberant. So, um, we could either go in and edit this prompt to tell it to change her expression. Um, or like this picture makes the most sense is the first picture for our life in the castle book.

[38:57] she walks to the window. I would want her to look a little happier. Now, what you can do here is um there's not really a way right now to move this picture over here, you know, to swap them, but we can just go ahead and like finish out

[39:10] the book and then add it to all the pages of the book. And once it's over into the pages here, we can easily move the picture from one image to or from one page of the book to the other. So, there are workarounds, but I think that,

[39:23] you know, this is, like I said, um, a really interesting tool to be able to potentially make some pretty high quality books that are print on demand books because otherwise it is quite difficult to get AI to create these

[39:36] images for us. And you might have a story inside of you that you really want to share with the world, that you would love to get in the hands of some kids, but not have the budget to hire an illustrator or not have these skills

[39:49] yourself. And so I love the idea of you being able to do whichever part of it it images but you don't have the story or the other way around and having AI assist you to be able to turn your idea into a reality. Okay, so that's pretty

[40:05] much everything that I wanted to show you guys how to do. Um, like I already showed you how once you have all of this created how you want it to be, then you just come up here into the download um options and you download it for printed

[40:18] books. Then you go to KDP, you can upload it here. Once you have all the details plugged in, then you can submit your book to Amazon for their review and you also can order that copy for your own review. And then once you click that

[40:31] publish button, then it gets published on Amazon within 48 hours. And this is reasons I mentioned to you at the beginning of this video that it's print on demand. So, it's a very low risk, but it's also a really fun, creative way to

[40:46] demand books. And there is a big opportunity because thousands and coloring books on Amazon every month. And the top coloring books on Amazon are earning around $10,000, which is just incredible. Now, if you want to give
