AI Summary

This video presents a tier list of professions for gold making in the World of Warcraft Midnight expansion, based on beta testing. The creator ranks cooking and leatherworking as D tier, blacksmithing as C, enchanting and alchemy as B, tailoring as A, and jewelcrafting, inscription, mining, herbalism, and skinning as S tier. The analysis focuses on mass crafting and farming potential, excluding concentration and alt army strategies.

[00:41]
Cooking Downgraded to D Tier

Cooking is simplified to only one salvage reagent (Tassian filt), reducing profit potential. No profession tree and low barrier to entry make it less profitable. However, cooking food gives profession stats (finesse, speed) which may keep demand up from farmers.

[02:31]
Leatherworking Worse Than War Within

Leatherworking was already the least favorite in War Within; now it has fewer crafting reagents (4 vs 6), leading to fewer crafts and lower profits. Drums have no ranks and no skill requirement, killing margins quickly. However, crafting orders and PvP gear provide alternative gold making.

[04:27]
Fishing: Consistent but Not Competitive

Fishing offers consistent semi-AFK gold per hour. New mechanics (mobs from fishing pools, preventing bots) make it more active but still not comparable to gathering professions. Not a top earner.

[05:48]
Blacksmithing Loses Frameworks

Blacksmithing no longer has the 10-minute profession buff (frameworks) that added a barrier to entry. Alloys now have fewer use cases, reducing demand. However, cross-realm selling of gear and profession equipment remains strong.

[09:03]
Enchanting: Alt Army Potential Reduced

Enchanting will be viable but not as strong as War Within for concentration crafting. Less materials used means concentration covers less cost. New shatter options (dawn to radiant to dust) may add profit. Disenchanting crafted items still possible.

[13:01]
Alchemy: Lost Transmute but Still Decent

Alchemy loses the transmute system (Thaumaturgy) that was huge in War Within. Easier to spec into flasks and potions due to fewer knowledge points required. New transmute: converting materials into bags (bouquet of herbs, etc.) and a strange cooldown that may allow infinite moat conversion (likely to be changed). Overall B tier.

[17:19]
Tailoring: Strong with Cooldown Bolts

Tailoring's cooldown bolts (exquisite bolts) are expected to have high demand. The imbued bright linen bolt is very hard to guarantee rank 2, providing an edge for committed tailors. Loss of unraveling step reduces profit potential compared to War Within. Bags and spell threads are also profitable.

[21:05]
Engineering: Recycling Mechanic Adds Profit

Engineering introduces recycling (turning one reagent into another), which requires spreadsheet tracking. Scopes for hunters and toys (wormhole generator) are in demand. No craftable mount this expansion. Profit margins should be stable due to numerical complexity.

[24:01]
Jewelcrafting: Top Tier for Self-Sustainability

Jewelcrafting is the creator's favorite. Prospecting and crushing allow self-sustainability. Crafting vials for alchemists (rank 2 vials) creates synergy. Rings, necks, and profession equipment are profitable cross-realm. Will have two jewelcrafters at launch.

[26:42]
Inscription: Many Steps Compound Profits

Inscription's milling, ink, cipher, and missive chain allows compounding profits. Easy to reach max rank early (may change). Darkmoon trinkets and decks provide additional income. Low knowledge point requirement (50) for optimal crafting makes it accessible.

[29:46]
Mining, Herbalism, Skinning: S Tier Gathering

All three gathering professions are S tier due to consistent demand from raiding and crafting. Motes (new reagent) add value. Skinning group farming is extremely profitable early, but leather prices may drop later due to lack of transmute. Mining and herbalism remain consistently good.

The creator believes gathering professions (mining, herbalism, skinning) will be the most reliable gold makers in Midnight, while crafting professions like jewelcrafting and inscription offer strong compounding profit potential. Many changes from War Within, such as simplified cooking and lost transmutes, will shift gold-making strategies.

[00:01] corner and this is my tier list for professions in midnight. Before we get started, this tier list is not based on concentration crafting or alt army crafting and I am not taking into account decor crafting into this tier

[00:15] list either. However, I can quickly say that my top three alt army professions for midnight will be tailoring, alchemy, and enchanting. But more on that in another video. I also quickly just want to say that I'm working on a crafting

[00:29] gold making spreadsheet. It is going to be completely free in my discord channel. So don't forget to join up. So as we can see in the bottom of my tier list, I have put cooking and leatherwork. But let's go ahead and

[00:41] check out cooking first. So why I have put cooking here on the D tier is because it is not looking too promising in my opinion sadly because I was really really enjoying cooking in the war within but this time around they have

[00:54] made it even simpler which probably going to mean that we have less profits this time around you can only salvage into one reagent the Tassian filt in the war within you had multiple reagents that you could salvage into. So this

[01:08] makes it a little bit easier and the easier it is the less profit we are going to make. As we know in cooking we do not have a profession tree either and cooking one of the easiest professions. So a lot of people opt into it and try

[01:21] started with and that is totally understandable. But also once again the less barrier to entry the less gold to be made. I think in cooking we still have the crafting stats though with the multicraft and the resourceness. And we

[01:35] also have the finishing reagents that lets us add a reagent to produce more crafts. And this is of course good cuz this adds a little bit of a maths game at least going to stay a little bit profitable throughout the whole

[01:48] expansion. But there isn't really anything too interesting. And since it believe it is not going to be the best. However, we do have some TE's coming in because this actually gives profession stats. For example, this one gives us

[02:03] finesse and speed and finesse as we know is a stat used in for example mining, herbalism and skinning. So this T might be very used by the farmers. So this interesting. We will have to see how this pans out. But I do believe since it

[02:17] to stay the best. Maybe it is something to stay on top of in the beginning of the expansion. Okay, so now we get into leather working. If possible, they have made this profession, in my opinion, even worse than it was in The War

[02:31] Within. This was my least favorite profession in The War Within because it was simply just so hard to make any gold with it. And it was so easy in terms of crafting all of the reagents and like the drums had very little profit

[02:43] margins. Usually, all of the stuff that you could mass sell didn't really have a lot of profit to it because it was so easy here as well. This time around we have four different crafting reagents instead of I believe we had six in the

[02:56] war within and that makes it a little bit less crafts to be made and less crafts is going to mean less profits. But at least we're going to still have we're going to be able to craft and sell immediately on the auction house. And we

[03:09] of course going to have the drums. The drums still have no ranks to it though. craft. No skill requirement. All you're going to need for this is maxed is going to be very easy to craft and this is going to drop down in profits

[03:22] very very quickly. Again, we have the armor kits coming up as well. Might not be too bad since you can craft your different reagents into it and craft it I do not believe this will stay too

[03:34] though with leather working that is very positive for you guys that are doing that the tier list isn't ranked based on crafting orders, but it do have a lot of different crafts that you can do crafting orders to other people if you

[03:48] like to make gold that way. So, that is good. And also, one thing that I did in good for me and I made so much gold was crafting very easy gear and put it on a

[04:00] crafting is actually really good as well. You can craft a lot of different PVP gear. You can also craft a lot of different green profession gear and you can also craft the basic leveling gear that people tend to buy when they level

[04:13] crafting, I really do think leatherworking is great. But in terms of mass crafting like reagents, consumables, which is like my main way of making gold with professions, it's going to be at the D tier because I do

[04:27] not have the strongest beliefs in it. When it comes to fishing, I don't really after all. It's not my favorite, but I they can simply do something at the same time while they are fishing cuz it's so

[04:41] easy to do while like semi AFK. Fishing is going to give you a consistent gold per hour, but I have the feeling that they are kind of working towards a way of preventing bots more and more from fishing. Nothing huge though, but

[04:54] sometimes depending on where you fish, there can spawn some mobs that you have to kill and can drop you some different loots. And also fishing the pools is going to be very strong as well compared to just standing still and fishing. So

[05:06] fishing more like active. I don't know if that's good. It's definitely good to combat bots because it's not going to be as easy for bots to just stand still and fish for very effective gold. But also maybe the bots are clever enough to

[05:20] are adding some mechanics to make it harder for bots to fish. But I don't just going to be more annoying for you fishing as well. It's going to make a be able to compare itself to any of the other professions. That's kind of

[05:34] farming, mining, herbalism, skinning, and whatnot. It's not going to have a if you like fishing, it's going to be okay. Okay, blacksmithing. I kind of liked blacksmithing in the war within, but now it has changed up a little bit.

[05:49] And sadly, I would say to the worst. If you know, in the war within you had a profession buff that was only available for 10 minutes, then you had to refresh it. It was like a crafted buff and you had to reapply it every 10 minutes. Of

[06:02] course, it might be annoying to reapply a buff every 10 minutes. But as you can maybe understand, if you have to reapply a buff every 10 minutes, it's not as easy for people to just press craft all and stand still for 30 minutes without

[06:15] being active at all, which kind of will affect the profits, I think, a little for example, when you make alloys, going to hit the create all button and you're going to be able to craft for 30 minutes nonstop without having to be active at

[06:29] profits, I think, a little bit for the alloys. And if that is good or not, it depends totally what you feel about it. But in my opinion, that buff was adding a little bit of a layer. And I do love the barriers to entry, right? Of course,

[06:42] it's going to be mixed feelings on that one. This time around in blacksmithing, I believe that we had four different alloys in the war within. So, this is a little bit meh as well because the more the merrier, but it's the same here. We

[06:55] do have the copper ingot. We're going to craft that one to use into our other little bit of a compound effect here crafting the better alloys, but the use cases for the better alloys seems to be less in this expansion than it was in

[07:10] the previous one. So, maybe they will have even less demand this time around. I know that one of them had very little demand compared to the other one in the warin. So, we'll see how that pans out. But, I think crafting alloys overall is

[07:22] still going to be okay. Like, you should be able to mass craft the simplest house for a little bit of profit at least. But I think it's going to be a little bit worse again than it was in the war within. However, crossrem wise

[07:34] for blacksmithing, absolutely amazing. Once again, we have a lot of different crafts that we can do. And for all of you guys that are doing the crafting good cuz you have so much different crafts. And as I said, for the crossroom

[07:46] lot of different green professional equipment that you can do. And you also have the like base level 90 gear and the leveling gear as well that you can do and produce and set up on multiple realms if that's what you're into. We do

[08:00] have the stoneworks like the weight stones, razor stones, wet stones this time around again, but we do not have the frameworks. If you know in the war within we had frameworks which was basically a finishing reagent that you

[08:13] could apply to crafts that gave us additional stats when crafting. This time around we can't craft them which just overall makes this profession worse because crafting those frameworks was really good. Like they were selling very

[08:25] them. So I'm kind of sad that we're not seeing that one again. But it is what it is. But the razor stones here is going to be used everyone who's gathering. So weight stones is going to be for attack power and the wet stones is also going

[08:38] to be attack power. So those probably going to be used. I enjoyed selling the razor stones at least. But yeah, that is kind of why blacksmithing ended up on higher because I do believe it's not going to be as strong as it was

[08:50] previously and the other professions seem to be stronger than blacksmithing, at least in my opinion. Okay, so enchanting, a lot of people's favorite profession in the war within. We had so many people going fullon alt armies with

[09:04] enchanting. And this time around it's going to be a viable option again, but in my opinion it's not going to be close to as good in concentration crafting. And that is a little bit of a reason why I put it on a B tier. I am a little bit

[09:18] split here because it kind of depends on what people opt for or how good it is with concentration. I feel like is a little bit dependent on how good general crafting and mass crafting without concentration. Because if it's

[09:31] going to be too good with concentration, we might end up in the situation as we did in the war within with most of the high-end crafts not being profitable to craft without concentration. And in my opinion, that's not fun. That's boring.

[09:43] I'm not the biggest fan of it, but I don't dislike it either. I just love mass crafting and crafting a lot without using the timegated resources and all dies. So, I'm more of the like no concentration style crafting, right? But

[09:56] worse with the concentration across the board this time around. simply because we seem to be using a lot less materials and using less materials means that it is less materials that concentration has to cover up the cost of. So basically I

[10:11] think concentration going to be worse across the board and I think that enchanting is not going to be the best alt army profession this time around. As I said previously in the beginning I do believe that tailoring is going to top

[10:23] this one coming in with alchemy and then maybe enchanting. I'm not sure like I I'm split on this. I don't know really if it's going to be good or bad with think nothing will be tailoring, but that's just what I believe. Of course,

[10:38] professions on your alt armies, so maybe you will have tailoring and shaing. We will see what happens with that. But if concentration isn't going to be conquering out all of the other crafting with higher tier enchants, I think it's

[10:51] going to be really nice. And also, of course, we do have the dawn shatter and radiant shatter coming in from the start of the expansion this time, meaning that you can convert the dawn crystals into the radiant shards, which later can be

[11:04] converted into the normal dust. So, this is one way that you're going to be able to use at least enchanting for sometimes being profitable, converting crystals to shards and then to dust and whatnot. And that might add a little bit of extra

[11:17] profit and also may be able to get you some cheaper materials. This was not the So that's why I believe the dust were very very high valued in the beginning, able to shatter them lower and you're probably going to be able to see more

[11:30] equal prices. I do still think that what you're going to be doing is maybe producing like the epic dark moon cards in inscription, then disenchanting them, then shattering, and then like ending up on the most profitable materials. I'm

[11:43] going to be able to craft stuff with, for example, tailoring that you can disenchant in enchanting and just profit selling the materials that you get from that's still going to be a thing. And looking at the profession tree in

[11:56] enchanting, it's going to look very similar to what it did in the war So, you're going to have the disenchanting spec and whatnot, but we also have the basic consumables like the oils and stuff here coming in, which I

[12:08] believe is quite nice. It's basically working the same way around here again lot to the war within. Maybe that's a mistake. I'm just so used to it, but it's basically weapon oils and oils that you can use to make additional damage

[12:21] are going to have a heavy demand of course as well together with all of the enchants. Like enchanting overall has a really high demand of the stuff that they create. So, that's why it's usually decent. It ends up on B tier. I might be

[12:33] might be the Dtier. I have no idea. But I put it in the B tier because I believe it's looking to be a decent and nothing too special, nothing too bad. I just depends a little bit on how the concentration armies are working and if

[12:48] they are quote unquote ruining it or not. Okay, it's time for alchemy put on the B tier. I'm also a little bit split on a tier list. It's all just guesstimation, you know? I'm trying my

[13:01] best to do this. Like it's very very hard. But looking at alchemy this time hard. But looking at alchemy this time around it has lost the in war within the was huge. You were basically converting materials into other materials which in

[13:14] terms made extra profit margins for you. It was so so huge. I'm kind of sad that it's not in the game but maybe it was too good and too mandatory and if you didn't do it it kind of affected the whole profession system because you

[13:28] UI crafter for example because you wanted to make your mats cheaper. That's make it a little bit easier. But it's kind of sad that it's not here because I maybe it wasn't good for the game. But looking at alchemy, it's a little bit

[13:42] You don't have to do this RNG exploration things that unlocks recipes for you. You're now going to pay Moxy and choose which recipes you want to get some base recipes from the trainers as well. So, it's going to be overall

[13:56] easier to get started. Then in terms of potion and flask crafting, once again really hard to get into because it required so much knowledge points. This time around, they basically cut out a whole knowledge points tree that you

[14:09] going to be able to optimize flask and potion crafting way faster this time around, making it a less barrier to entry. It's going to be easier for you and potions, and it's going to be

[14:22] might be a little bit less. But alchemy is also very competitive. I think it's profession. I feel like it kind of always is cuz a lot of people love it blah. So, it's like yeah, it's very competitive, but I do believe it's going

[14:36] to be decent. It's going to be like quite straightforward. Eu go into a than the potion and flasks, of course, you have the files. I don't know if files is the way to go. It's going to have the file for finesse and deafness

[14:49] for gatherers. It's also going to have the one for ingenuity for concentration the one for perception, which is basically also for farmers. I think a lot of people opt for flask and potions. Maybe the way is to go for files, but I

[15:03] less demand as well, so I'm not really sure. It's just an idea. But you also do have the transmutations here in alchemy, which is basically a little bit like the but at the same time not. You can convert some materials into like a bag

[15:16] of other materials. So here you can get a bouquet of herbs, box of rocks, school of gems. basically converting fishes to gems and whatnot. So, that is one way. And you can also spec into this in the tree to make this more optimized. So,

[15:30] going to be really good. I think it's going to be turn out to be pretty bad, but it might be able to add a little bit cheaper materials for you when crafting. I'm not sure. We will have to see, but uh it's maybe going to play a role in

[15:43] alchemy overall. Then you have the cooldown crafts, the wondrous synergist, and also you have this transmute here, which is very strange. If this makes it to the release of midnight, the moes that is used very heavily in every

[15:55] profession is going to be costing vendor value because you can now infinitely produce modes if you just have some modes to start with cuz basically your crafting stats is allowing you to craft more than 10 emotes on average by

[16:09] spending another 10 modes. So in that case, you can produce more than 10 modes by spending 10 modes and that's going to effectively end up in infinite amount of modes. And since you can convert into every moat, you can just infinitely spin

[16:22] it. So if you have like 50 modes to start with, you can end up with a 50,000 modes basically only spending this stabilized derivat. going to be a cool craft. I'm now on the beta of course, so don't expect this to

[16:36] going to be completely broken. So I think it's going to change. And also here we have one crafting reagent. Like looking at this, it's giving me okay vibes. It's not bad, but it's not also going to be super duper duper good like

[16:48] it was maybe in the war within with Tomury. It's ended up on Btier. Maybe it on S tier. I don't know. I just think it's going to be okay. It's not going to it's going to be competitive. Margins is going to hit slim quite quickly and

[17:04] we're going to be competing a lot for sales. But as we know alchemy insane insane demand of everything that you craft. So that's why it's also always staying a little bit healthy. Okay. So next profession is tailoring. Tailoring

[17:19] is looking a little bit interesting but also not. Tailoring is looking a little bit less interesting depending on how you see it. I do believe that the previously, is going to be the best because the cooldown bolts in tailoring

[17:32] insane demand in this expansion. And yeah, they are cool down based, you really, really good. I think people with alt armies is going to opt for this. You can both use concentration on them and not basically you can do 30 craft in 10

[17:46] of stats. I think it's going to have a huge demand and I do believe this is profession. But other than that, we're going to have the base stuff here, a bolt. Then we're going to have the imbued bright linen bolt. And this one

[17:59] is actually very, very, very hard to be able to quality to guarantee. And that is a little bit interesting. I think it's the most hard craft in Midnight to craft at guaranteed quality 2. You're going to need a lot of knowledge points

[18:13] be able to guarantee this rank two. I think that can be good. Like if you stay up to date with a tailor, a lot of the competition might drop off along the ways. So if you're ready in the beginning when like the first few days

[18:25] when people are able to guarantee this at rank two, it might be very good to something to keep in mind. Then we have the basic bandage. Not going to be any going to have some different leveling gears here. As I said, love to sell them

[18:39] on the cross realm market. We're also going to be able to do crafting order going to be able to do the profession equipments. Once again, the green ones. Love to sell them across the board. Spell threads. We're going to have this

[18:52] time around. They are using, as you can see, quite a lot of things here. Eight more expensive. I think it's going to be staying better for longer this time within they dropped off really quick. This might be something to dump your

[19:05] concentration on as well in tailoring. Not really sure, but I think that the spell threads will stay good. Again looking at the bags as always tailoring promising as here we can see the cooldown bolts is once again here they

[19:21] the beginning will be expensive so I'm not sure like how it's going to be but baseline 38 bag and a 40 slot reagent bag. The materials looks in my opinion be expensive in the beginning to craft these bags but it was in the war within

[19:35] as well like so I don't really know. But then we have the base bag here. 36 slot. You're going to be able to sell this for quite nice profit. Once again, an item that you can move to different realms. I just say it a lot. I love to do that.

[19:48] So, uh, then you have the base 38 slot reagent bag. Probably going to be in the doesn't seem to do the good, especially of them. Yeah, you have the core, you have the PVP crafts, then you have some

[20:00] warbound thing here just for your wardrobe. But overall for tailoring, I made millions just mass crafting the exquisite bolts in the war within. I here is working a little bit the same, but sadly I don't think it's going to

[20:13] stay as good. Like looking at this, it doesn't require anything from enchanting that it did in the war within. And also the biggest thing that I haven't said is that you don't need to unravel cloth anymore in tailoring that you needed to

[20:26] step extra to make a little bit of profit. So that's why I think it's going to be overall worse in terms of mass crafting as well because you don't have unraveling. Basically unraveling was that you had clo that you unraveled into

[20:39] spools and then you use the spools to craft the baseline bolts and then with the baseline bolts you could do the equivalent to the this imbued bright linen bolt. It's one step that we lost and probably a lot of profit to be lost

[20:52] losing that step. Okay. Engineering I have put on the eighth here because I think it looks a bit interesting. We have the recycling part. It's basically like turning one reagent into something else. And you can even turn like

[21:06] missives and a lot of here into engineering materials. It looks kind of crazy honestly looking at all of this stuff. But what you end up with when you are recycling is basically other materials like the other loom for

[21:20] example, which is then used in other crafts. And this will of course be a here that you can craft. So, you're going to need a spreadsheet for this. Of free in my Discord. So, don't forget to join up on that. But engineering here, I

[21:34] think, is looking profitable just because this recycling is probably a step that you do to then get cheaper materials for other crafts that you want to do. They also added like the scopes for hunters for the ranged weapons,

[21:47] which is a little bit of a nice addition, I think. And to craft them, you of course going to be recycling to get the Evercore and the Ederloom. And you're also going to be crafting your parts for those crafts. So basically all

[21:59] the crafts for this Far Rider Hawkeye, for example, is going to be produced by you in engineering. And that is going to add profit margins, I believe, because you're going to be able to craft every material for the crafts. I just overall

[22:11] think that the recycling thing is going to add profits because it's like a game of numbers and like it's not that easy to know if you're making profit or not think that's going to be good in terms of having stable profit margins. We of

[22:25] course going to see some toys here as well. The wormhole generator and some other toys, which of course I love to sell on the cross market. I made so much gold with the toys from Engineering in the War Within. It's actually

[22:37] ridiculous. We make the bots and bits. Basically, here we have the jumper cables. Basically, you're able to rest someone in combat even if you don't have a combat rest ability. So, this is something that is going to be in demand

[22:49] as well. So they have a lot of different stuff that is in high demand, I think, have a strong belief for engineering this time around. I might be wrong. I within in the start. Kind of regretted it because in my opinion, it wasn't the

[23:03] like engineering is good, at least compared to everything else. Like I I some reason. You're also going to be able to craft different leveling gear a little bit awkward because some stuff requires engineering, some stuff does

[23:18] not. Some stuff looks to be warbound and some not. So, it's a little bit special, I think. I'm not really sure how this is going to end up, but if it is stuff that is another good thing in my opinion. You're also going to be able to do some

[23:31] going to have the profession of equipment in engineering as well, which is one part that I like once again to sell on the cross market. I just think The only sad part is that we're not going to have a mount to craft this time

[23:46] around. So, that is a little bit sad, but I think the recycling overall is we're going to have some nice profit margins in engineering overall. Okay, on to my favorite profession in this game. U crafting. I hope I'm not going to be

[24:01] is going to be one of the best professions in Midnight. That is why I crafting is looking very much the same as the war within. You have the points needed if you want to be able to do all of the gems. They have tuned it

[24:17] have the possibility to craft profession equipment and rings and necks for people and also you're able to prospect and also able to crush gemstones and craft

[24:29] opportunities here. They however have changed a little bit. So the prospecting you are now specking into one of each ore here. So, if you want to improve your prospecting for copper ore, you're going to be in this one, tin in this,

[24:43] silver in this, and thorium here. Like, it's um a little bit different to how it like it, and it's going to give us more options to rush in the beginning of the expansion, I think. So, we have crushing here. Basically, you crush gems and

[24:56] shrouded stones down to gemstones that you then can use in further crafts. And you have prospecting. basically prospecting or getting like gems, glass, you want to make the high-end gems, for example, you're going to want to

[25:09] prospect so you get like the reagent gems that you can make into the usable gems so you get better profit margins. Same that you're going to want to be to craft into the gems, etc. So, you're going to be able to self sustain really

[25:22] prospecting, it's all like a numbers game. Once again, you're going to want to have a spreadsheet for this so you know if it's profitable or not and what that's going to be in the Discord completely free for everybody to take a

[25:34] part of. Then we have the vials. They going to have a huge demand for alchemists. They love the vials. However, the rank one vial sadly can be two cannot. So, you're going to want to craft rank two vials and supply that to

[25:48] own alchemist, you're going to want to craft the vials rank two, supply them to your alchemist for cheaper crafting cost, you know. So, that is really nice Like, that's usually a good combo. really really nice. But yeah, we have a

[26:02] prospecting, reagents, and crafting gems. Then crafting PvP gear, uh the necks and rings. Then we have the regular like rings and necks, the blue ones. Holy I made so much gold

[26:17] selling this cross. It was ridiculous. If you know, you know. But you're going to be able to do that once again, guys. Uh then we have the profession equipment that we can supply to other people once again. And decor. I'm just looking at

[26:29] believe this is going to be really nice and it's going to be my go-to profession in Midnight. I'm even going to have two u crafters from the start to try to go a little bit ham on it. Okay. And inscription, the second one that is on

[26:43] the S tier. Inscription is looking very similar once again to the war within. You have the milling, you have the reagents like the ciphers, the inks, and further going to be crafting into like missives and other stuff. So you're

[26:58] going to have a long crafting cycle here going all the way from raw herbs into like finished product which is really good. Every step you make the more why I think inscription is going to be the S tier because you are once again

[27:11] going to be able to like do those many many steps compounding your profits. You first mill, then you craft the inks. And with the inks you craft ciphers and ass roots, and that you provide either you sell immediately or you make like

[27:25] further into like missibives, they usually have a huge demand and like vantage runes, etc. Like it's it's just looking so nice, but it's looking very similar. Just a quick note like from the beta is that you're able to produce max

[27:37] rank crafts very easily in inscription. I do think this is going to change. I can almost guarantee it. However, if this do not change, I think inscription cuz it's going to be so much worse. That's just a like little note. It is

[27:50] going to change. I don't think we have to worry about it. But like you're able to craft missiles at max rank without even having equipment. That shouldn't be stuff like at max quality very easily

[28:02] but we will see what happens. Maybe it's intended. Maybe I'm just stupid and not believe it's going to come with changes. Then I believe it's going to be one of the best professions once again. You also this time around have the dark moon

[28:14] trinkets, the ones that you can do crafting orders to people, but you also have the version of making inks into like card pieces that you then convert into the regular decks, not these good decks like the blue decks that is not

[28:28] like soul bound. So those decks you can potentially sell to other people or provide to your disenchanter. Maybe that's a way to make some extra gold out little bit differently since you can craft them this time around, but you can

[28:41] also drop them. So, it's a little bit weird, but yeah, it's just looking so good. Also, the profession knowledge that you need to be able to get all the stats that you need for the crafts is only 50 knowledge points. You're going

[28:54] to be getting that day one so easily. So, being able to max efficiently craft like inks at rank one, you're going to be able to do day one depending on how only get the green tools, but then everybody else can also get the green

[29:08] competing day one with inscription at the best level with like the base craft as rank one. So that's really nice as well, but it's also a very easy thing to do. So maybe it's not going to be the best for rank one craft. I don't know.

[29:21] looking very similar to the war within with like the different specs. You go insk, you go milling, you go ciphers, you can go misses, you can go contracts, you can go vantage runes, you have the dark moon spec, you have um the stats

[29:33] here, and then you have the spec to make tools and equipment for people. So, it's really good in the war within. So, I just think it has the potential to be as it's going to be one of the best professions for sure. Looking good

[29:46] tier. Last but not least, we got to put mining, herbalism, and skinning together. And why is that? because I think they are going to be very good. That's why they are on the S tier all of them. It is going to be a little bit

[29:59] here. But looking at mining and herbalism, I think they're going to be staying consistently good for quite a bit. They are also going to be very good well because mining and herbalism always making a lot of gold in the beginning

[30:13] everybody who wants stuff for like the raiding and everything just need so much ores and herbs because a lot of stuff is based on it, right? So, it's going to be good for a long time. You're now also able to gather the modes that we were

[30:27] modes and those have a huge demand as well. And I think the modes is going to be valuable. So, you're going to be sustainably I think making quite good long time. So, that's why it's on the S

[30:40] tier because I think overall crafting professions are going to make little bit less profit in this expansion than it did in the war within. Maybe gathering is going to compete at the same level of profits with the time spent. I'm not

[30:53] sure. It's very hard to say, but I I just think that mining, herbalism, and going to be competing. It's It's just going to be good, I think. And yeah, I I just think it's overall going to be good and staying good for a while as well.

[31:06] And the modes just making it probably even better as well. Looking at the spec in mining and herbalism, it is looking very very similar to the war within. You have the overloaded where you can spec into like getting more moes. You have

[31:19] the regular spec where you can get like mounted mining. That's going to be have that. And you're going to want to have the mounted herbs as well. Unless the mounted herbs, but you need the mounted mines cuz travel form. Yes, it's

[31:33] looking very very similar. Nothing too like special, but looking good. It's on crafting is going to be a little bit worse and farming is going to be better. I don't know what else to say really. I just think it's looking very promising.

[31:47] Skinning is also a interesting one in my opinion. This is very dependent on if you are a group farmer or a solo farmer. I do believe that skinning in the beginning of an expansion will be insanely nice for farming. But you got

[32:01] you're going to make so much more gold farming in a group. If you do not intend to do group farming with skinning, I think mining and herbalism is going to group farming with skinning in the beginning of the expansion, I think

[32:15] skinning is going to outperform mining and herbalism. So, it's like it's that S tier because if you do it properly with a group, it's going to be making a lot of gold. However, this time around, we don't have Thmurgy in Alchemy. Thuri

[32:28] we don't have Thmurgy in Alchemy. Thuri in Alchemy used so much leather all the time, keeping the prices for leather stable and up throughout the entirety of the War Within. We don't have this now. I see leather going way lower in price

[32:41] than it did in the war within, making skinning worse in the end, but being really good in the start. So, I think you will see insane farms with skinning group farming and then in the end of the expansion, it's going to be dirt cheap.

[32:56] skinner, I think the earlier you start, the better. I really think it's going to expansion. I think you're going to be able to basically print and farm so much S tier. So, it's very dependent if you do like group farming or solo farming.

[33:10] They also have added some kind of new skinning thing where you can search down some specific beasts like to buff the solo skinning experience. But, you know, farming skins with five people or even if you do it two times four with eight

[33:24] beat that with a solo skinner, even if they buff a couple of mobs for solo farmers. So, guys, I just think skinning is on the S tier as well. I think it's beginning. So, that is my thoughts. Don't forget to join up the Discord
