No real sustain; relies on slowing and kiting, but delves force tight areas and constant pressure.
Great damage and pet, but pet not built for long-term tanking; redirection is temporary.
Good sustainability but requires constant uptime; falls off if pressure is lost.
Strong healing but slower ramp-up; safe but not fast.
Very hard to kill but clears slower; curios can help.

7:09[00:00] Welcome to where the game is on. It's
[00:02] me, Game of Azeroth. If you're trying to
[00:04] solo delves in Warcraft, your class
[00:06] choice matters more than anything, and
[00:08] some classes are basically unkillable,
[00:11] while others will struggle no matter
[00:12] what you do.
[00:14] I've tested multiple setups, builds, and
[00:16] curio [music] combinations, and in this
[00:18] video, I'm ranking every class based on
[00:20] survivability, speed, and how easy it is
[00:23] to play solo.
[00:25] This ranking is based on three things:
[00:27] survivability, if you can stay alive
[00:30] under pressure, damage output to see how
[00:32] fast you can clear, and ease of play,
[00:35] because the fastest class isn't the one
[00:37] that does the most damage, it's the one
[00:39] that never dies. But, before I get
[00:41] started with the rankings, keep in mind
[00:44] I won't be going over setups such as
[00:46] curio combos or Valera rows.
[00:48] If you are interested in seeing if your
[00:50] class is ranked here and would like to
[00:52] know your best curio setup for delves,
[00:54] go ahead and click the link at the top
[00:56] of the video. And now, starting with our
[00:58] C-tier class, who are known to struggle
[01:00] solo, first goes to our arms warrior. A
[01:04] strong choice here, but they have weak
[01:07] self-healing. They do have victory rush,
[01:09] which is situational, and they have
[01:11] second wind, but it's slow and passive.
[01:14] If you're taking constant damage, you
[01:17] can't recover fast enough, and you'll
[01:18] struggle with big pulls.
[01:21] Our next C-tier class goes to our frost
[01:23] [music] mage. I know this may surprise
[01:25] you, but although frost does great in
[01:28] other content, delves does isn't their
[01:30] strongest suit. They have no real
[01:32] sustain. They have ice barrier and an
[01:36] ice block defensive, which prevents
[01:38] damage, but when it runs out, you don't
[01:40] recover from it. Frost isn't weak,
[01:43] they're just built around slowing,
[01:45] kiting, and controlling space. And the
[01:47] problem with this is delves often force
[01:51] tight areas, multiple enemies, and
[01:54] [music] constant pressure. And once cool
[01:56] downs are down, you're exposed.
[01:59] And on to our next C-tier class, goes to
[02:02] our marksmanship hunter. They have great
[02:05] damage and a pet. However, marksmanship
[02:08] pets aren't built to tank long-term.
[02:11] Redirection gives you a tank for a few
[02:13] seconds, but it doesn't solve the core
[02:15] problem of surviving the entire fight.
[02:17] Once it ends, the enemies go back to
[02:20] you. So, while redirection makes
[02:22] marksmanship feel better, it's still
[02:25] C-tier for efficiency, and maybe B-tier
[02:28] if played very carefully. And now, for
[02:30] the B-tier classes, these are viable,
[02:33] but less forgiving. So, first, we got
[02:36] our fury warrior.
[02:39] They have good sustainability, but they
[02:41] require constant uptime. It falls off if
[02:45] you lose pressure. So, this one, you
[02:47] have to be careful.
[02:49] Our next B-tier class goes to our shadow
[02:51] priest. Like discipline, shadow has
[02:54] strong healing, but a slower ramp-up in
[02:56] damage. They're safe, but not fast. Your
[03:00] bubble is not as effective as
[03:01] discipline, either, but you can switch
[03:04] out some curios, like using mantle of
[03:05] stars for an emergency bubble for extra
[03:08] survivability. And our final B-tier
[03:11] class goes to our restoration druid.
[03:14] Now, they are very hard to kill,
[03:16] however, you find yourself clearing
[03:19] delves a bit slower. But, in this case,
[03:21] like shadow priest, just using the right
[03:24] curios could change this outcome. Now,
[03:27] before I continue, be sure to stay with
[03:29] me for a very hot delve tip at the end
[03:31] of the rankings. And now, our A-tier
[03:34] classes. These are strong, but do
[03:36] require some skill. This one goes to our
[03:39] retribution paladin. For strong healing
[03:42] and great [music] burst damage. So, for
[03:45] the first time, they do feel like a tank
[03:48] with damage. Retribution has been very
[03:51] fun to play in Midnight so far, and
[03:53] their delve runs feel very bursty and
[03:55] lucrative, especially with the right
[03:57] curios. [music]
[03:58] And our next A-tier class, this one goes
[04:00] to our warlock. This one is off-spec.
[04:03] Similar to hunters, your pet tanks, but
[04:06] better. Additionally, you sustain with
[04:09] healing by drain life or using soul burn
[04:12] with a healthstone in emergency
[04:14] situations, which makes them a safe
[04:16] option in delves. However, the wrong
[04:19] pull, and you could become overwhelmed.
[04:22] And our last A-tier [music] class goes
[04:24] to our havoc demon hunter. This one is
[04:27] always fun to play for their high
[04:29] mobility and leech sustainability, and
[04:32] they provide one of the best rotations
[04:34] for fast clears. They're fast, [music]
[04:37] but requires awareness. And finally, our
[04:40] S-tier classes. This is practically easy
[04:44] mode. So, this one goes to our blood
[04:47] death knights. Granted, they are tanks,
[04:50] but they have massive self-healing, and
[04:53] it scales with damage taken, and they
[04:55] thrive in big pulls. If you die on this
[04:57] class, it's not the class. This is the
[05:00] best solo class in the game, no
[05:02] question. And our next S-tier class goes
[05:05] to our guardian druid. Yes, another
[05:08] tank, but they are currently the easiest
[05:10] class to play for solo content. They
[05:13] have a simple rotation, they're
[05:14] extremely tanky, and have consistent
[05:17] [music] healing. You can make mistakes
[05:19] and still survive. And not to waste any
[05:21] more time, onto our next S-tier class,
[05:24] this goes to our beast mastery [music]
[05:26] hunter. This is the safest range class
[05:29] for delves. Your pet tanks everything.
[05:32] You stay at range, and it's low-risk
[05:34] gameplay. Unlike marksmanship, your pet
[05:37] is built for tanking. You're basically
[05:39] never in danger. Valera is also very
[05:43] diverse with this [music] class and
[05:44] spec. You can have her heal, and you'll
[05:47] never die, or you can have her DPS, and
[05:50] as long as you keep your pet up with
[05:52] mend, you're just doubling damage
[05:54] output.
[05:55] And for our next S-tier class, this one
[05:58] goes to our discipline priest. One of
[06:00] the most underrated solo specs. The more
[06:03] you damage, the more healing you
[06:05] receive. So, stay bubbled, and you're
[06:08] basically untouchable. They're also
[06:10] extremely stable and hard to kill if
[06:13] played right.
[06:14] And now, our final S-tier class. This
[06:17] one goes to our rogue. This one is a bit
[06:20] tricky, because if played correctly, it
[06:23] definitely belongs in this tier. The
[06:25] power comes from control plus damage
[06:28] redirection, not raw tankiness. Tricks
[06:31] of the trade is your key ability. You
[06:34] redirect threat away from you and let
[06:36] Valera take pressure, enabling
[06:38] aggressive burst without [music] dying.
[06:41] Saps, stuns, blind, kick. Rogues doesn't
[06:44] survive by healing, it survives by never
[06:47] taking damage [music] in the first
[06:48] place.
[06:49] Rogue is one of the strongest delve
[06:51] classes in the game right now, but only
[06:54] if you know how to play it properly.
[06:56] If you want an easy, unkillable class,
[06:59] play blood death knight or guardian
[07:01] druid. If you want a high-skill,
[07:03] high-reward play style that can
[07:05] completely [music] dominate delves,
[07:07] rogue is one of the best in the game.
[07:09] Now, here's the part most people ignore.
[07:12] Your setup matters just as much as your
[07:14] class. Valera reduces pressure and
[07:17] controls fights. So, your best curio
[07:19] rule is to choose a defensive curio
[07:22] accompanied by a curio with sustainable
[07:25] damage. If your build feels weak, this
[07:28] is usually why.
[07:30] And now, if you're still with me, here
[07:32] is your hot delve tip that many players
[07:34] know, but there is also a lot that may
[07:37] not. So, you can streamline your delve
[07:40] runs so much faster by guiding Valera
[07:43] around the delve yourself. By simply
[07:46] using the ping system, you can command
[07:48] her to gather, stand by in specific
[07:51] areas, or attack a target if you don't
[07:53] want to pull aggro first.
[07:56] This makes your delve runs a lot faster.
[07:59] All right, so here is a final ranking
[08:01] summary for you. Understand that this
[08:04] video is not a guide on how to play
[08:07] these classes, but a simple ranking of
[08:09] the best classes to play in delves,
[08:11] which is why I went through these fairly
[08:13] quickly. Not all classes or specs were
[08:16] mentioned, because this was purely
[08:18] focused on most efficient delve runs,
[08:20] and the classes [music] and specs I
[08:22] ranked here were just worth mentioning
[08:24] more than others. Not to worry, though.
[08:27] Just drop your class and spec in the
[08:30] comments [music]
[08:30] and share your thoughts on your
[08:32] experience and what you rank your class
[08:35] and spec. So, give me a thumbs up, and
[08:37] subscribe for more wild content. Keep on
[08:40] grinding, and I will see you in Azeroth.
