AI Summary

This video is a comprehensive guide to using Polymarket, a decentralized prediction market, for sports betting. The creator demonstrates how to find better odds than traditional sportsbooks, use tools like Odds Jam to identify positive EV and arbitrage opportunities, and create custom prices through limit orders. The video emphasizes that Polymarket never limits accounts, making it an attractive option for sharp bettors.

[00:01]
Account Limitations on Traditional Sportsbooks

The creator, a profitable sports bettor, explains that nearly every sportsbook has limited his account, preventing him from placing desired wagers. For example, he wanted to bet $50 on FanDuel but could only bet $46.

[00:27]
Polymarket Offers Better Odds

Polymarket can offer better odds compared to traditional sportsbooks like FanDuel and DraftKings. The video shows how to identify these opportunities using Odds Jam's tools.

[00:53]
How Polymarket Works

Polymarket is a decentralized prediction market where you bet against other users, not the house. Instead of traditional odds, you buy shares on the probability of an outcome. For example, the Thunder are trading at 62 cents to win, meaning a 62% probability.

[01:32]
Finding Positive EV with Odds Jam

Odds Jam's positive EV page scans all accounts and shows where books are out of sync. For example, an under on Derrick Jones Jr. at DraftKings pays $77 on a $40 wager, while Polymarket pays almost $89 at plus 122 odds.

[02:24]
Arbitrage Opportunities

Odds Jam's arbitrage tool finds opportunities when Polymarket aligns with traditional sportsbooks. For an AHL moneyline play, a $100 wager on DraftKings and a $95 wager on Polymarket guarantee a profit regardless of the outcome.

[03:17]
Live Trading During Games

Live trading during games is a profitable opportunity on Polymarket. Odds Jam's plus EV tool can filter for live games, stoppages, halftime, TV breaks, and injury breaks, showing liquidity on each play. For example, a bet on a draw in a West Ham vs. Newcastle game has a 4% EV.

[04:25]
Creating Your Own Odds

Polymarket allows you to create your own prices using limit orders. If you don't like the offered price, you can set a better one. For example, instead of buying at 22 cents, you can set a limit order at 18 cents for plus 456 odds. If the order isn't filled, you get your money back.

[06:24]
No Account Limitations

Polymarket never limits your account because they make money from fees, not losing bettors. This is a win-win situation for traders. The platform is approved by the CFTC and available in all 50 states.

Polymarket, combined with Odds Jam software, offers a powerful alternative to traditional sportsbooks for finding edges and avoiding account limitations. The platform's unique features like live trading and custom pricing make it a promising future for sports betting.

[00:01] book that will never limit your account, no matter how much you win? As a profitable sports better, I've dealt with account limitations on nearly every sports book. I want to place a $50 wager on this over on FanDuel for the Knicks

[00:13] on this over on FanDuel for the Knicks and the Thunder. I can only bet $46. But prediction market that completely changes the game for sharp bettors. But here's what most bettors don't realize about Polymarket. You can actually find

[00:27] better odds on Polymarket compared to traditional sports books like FanDuel and DraftKings. And there's a way to identify these prices by using a know exists. In the next few minutes, I'm going to show you exactly how to use

[00:40] Polymarket for sports betting, how to find profitable opportunities using Odds Jam's tools, [music] and why this platform might be the future of sports tired of getting limited. So, what makes Polymarket different from FanDuel or

[00:53] DraftKings? Polymarket is a decentralized prediction market, which means you're not betting against the house. You're betting against other users. Look at these NBA games. Instead of using traditional odds, you're buying

[01:05] shares on the probability of that outcome. See this Thunder-Knicks game? The market is trading the Thunder to win this basketball game at 62 cents. If you think that the Thunder have a better chance of 62% to win this game, you can

[01:18] buy these shares. But here's the key difference. You don't have to wait until the end of the game to make money. You can sell your shares anytime before or during the game as the price moves. But the real advantage comes when you

[01:32] traditional sports books. And that's where Odds Jam's software becomes incredibly valuable. Here's how we can use Odds Jam to identify when Polymarket is offering better value compared to the traditional sports books. We're looking

[01:45] at the positive EV page, and this page just searches and scans all the accounts with, and then just shows you where the books are really out of sync And in this case with Polymarket, we're looking at the under on Derrick Jones

[01:59] Jr. under 11 and 1/2. So, as you can see on this under, if we placed a $40 wager over on DraftKings at minus 108 odds, our total payout is $77.

[02:11] Well, Polymarket is offering this under at plus 122 odds. Well, the difference $77, we're receiving a payout of almost $89

[02:24] on Polymarket. We can also use the Odds Jam arbitrage tool to find opportunities when Polymarket aligns with traditional sportsbooks, where you can day trade these books to make a profit. For this AHL moneyline play between DraftKings

[02:38] and Polymarket, we're receiving almost a 2 and 1/2% return off of our investment. One team's going to win and one team's going to lose. Anytime that you have a plus odds number on DraftKings and a plus odds number on Polymarket, you can

[02:51] just day trade these books at different amounts to make a profit. So, a $100 wager on DraftKings on Henderson to win the hockey game, a $95 wager on hockey game, our total investment's $195.

[03:05] Well, Coachella wins, we receive a payout of 197 and change. If it wins and payout of 202. Our total investment was 195, so we're making a profit no matter

[03:17] who wins or loses. And this is how you can day trade the sportsbooks using Odds one specific type of sports betting opportunity that's been incredibly profitable on Polymarket. That opportunity is live trading during

[03:31] games. Over here on Odds Jam's plus EV tool, games are going on live. And in this filter setup, you can either focus on games that are going on live or in a stoppage, halftime, TV breaks, an injury break. All of these are different

[03:45] Polymarket. And the best part here is you can see exactly how much liquidity Polymarket is taking on each individual play. This is an incredible play here with West Ham and Newcastle where you're

[03:57] looking at bet on the draw or a tie where you're getting a 4% EVH play. But this goes well beyond positive EV betting as well. This also leans into arbitrage. Live arbitrage betting creates unlimited opportunities because

[04:11] every few seconds that that game is going on, prices are changing and different opportunities are popping up. Over here between Caesars and books on the money line as you could see we're late into the second half here and

[04:25] make [music] a profit. But let's take this a step further because there's one side of Polymarket that I haven't shown you yet and 99% of sports bettors don't utilize this function. Back over here on the EV tool, everything that I've shown

[04:37] you thus far is on the take side, but you can also make your own odds, create your own pricing. So, Colorado State on the money line, you can see that you were receiving plus 350 for odds over on Polymarket. This is a 4 and 1/2% edge,

[04:54] but we can take this a step further if you're not happy with this price. Over State to win the basketball game, we're buying this at plus 22 cents. Remember that win probability and odds are in a marriage. So, over here on Odds Jam's

[05:08] prediction market calculator, if you just type in 22 cents, it'll provide you the odds in American, decimal, and fractional so that you can figure out exactly what price you're receiving with whatever odds that you're most

[05:20] comfortable with. So, when we come back over here to this screen, we're on the market tab. Well, we can go ahead and create a limit order where maybe we don't want 22 cents. Maybe we want to come over this calculator and we want

[05:33] something at maybe 18 cents. We want plus 456 odds. We want an even better price than what's being offered. Well, we can come over here and just click on 18 cents. Then you you come down here and figure out how much money that you

[05:47] want to wager on this play in terms of shares. It's going to tell you the amount of shares that you type in what your total amount is that you're going to win. So, you can change this number depending on how much that you actually

[05:59] want to wager and it's going to tell you the win amount right here. But, the beautiful part is you don't have to accept the price that's being offered to accept the price that's being offered to you on any play, any market, any sport.

[06:11] You can create your own price as well. When you go and create your own pricing and if the order isn't filled, you simply receive your money back. No harm, no foul. So, every single play that you see on the Odds Jam page, you can

[06:24] literally go over to Polymarket and create your own pricing. Maybe you really love to bet on BetMGM, but like me with so many books, you can't bet as much as you want to. Well, guess what? Over at Polymarket, you can go find

[06:37] those markets and just create your own prices. It's an unlimited, never-ending profit loop. So, on Polymarket for this college basketball matchup, you can bet as you can see down here with spreads and totals, there are some alternate

[06:51] markets. For the NBA, you have game lines, first half, and then some player props, points, assists, and rebounds. And for any of these markets, you can simply just click into this spot right here and this is going to open up the

[07:05] finance, stock trading type of background, you can see all the shares and order flow and prices that's currently going on. Outside of these markets, you can scroll down and jump into the comments and start mixing it

[07:19] up. Look at the top holders, who has the most shares on the Thunder or the Knicks, positions, and also activity. You can see exactly who bought what at following someone that you feel was really sharp, you can see their activity

[07:34] right here as well. Polymarket will never limit you because they make money from fees, not losing bettors. This is the holy grail for sports bettors. DraftKings and FanDuel make money when you lose your bets. PolyMarket wants you

[07:48] to win and they want you to trade big because the more that you trade, the more money that they make off the fees. It's a win-win situation. You can trade as much as you want on any market, any sport, any dynamic and PolyMarket will

[08:03] never limit you. Plus, as the platform grows, so does the liquidity. So, if you're a sharp serious better, this is extremely powerful. Plus the fact that they were approved by the CFTC means there isn't any state limitations with

[08:16] PolyMarket. This is on a federal level, so it's available in all 50 states. sports trading for those that are tired of getting limited. With the ability to find better odds or create your own prices, live trading and no account

[08:30] restrictions, it's easy to see why the future is with PolyMarket. Combining PolyMarket with Odds Jam software and finding those plays that have an edge is the difference between winning and losing. If you want to find out my

[08:43] favorite markets to attack PolyMarket, then click this video on the screen. It's going to walk you step-by-step exactly into the odds range and the specific leagues and markets that I love to attack to make consistent profits.
