[00:16] all ceramic coatings are created equally

[00:21] translates into how they perform so

[00:25] things that you need to know before you

[00:37] so what is a ceramic coating and why in

[00:42] think the easiest way to break this down

[00:48] that goes across your paint it is very

[00:52] proportion that it resists scratches and

[00:56] chips it is certainly not that so let's

[01:01] exactly what it does so ceramic coating

[01:07] of different services whether it's paint

[01:13] comes in a very small bottle that

[01:17] silica or glass and the second are

[01:23] paint for instance the product is

[01:28] away leaving only a small layer of glass

[01:33] through with you how to properly apply a

[01:37] lasts for years not months there are

[01:42] ceramic coating number one is a wash you

[01:47] remove any particles that are loosely

[01:52] decontaminate the paint typically this

[01:57] mechanical processes meaning that there

[02:01] loosen anything like brake dust that is

[02:05] clay clay is used to remove anything

[02:11] once again bonded to the paint after

[02:16] on to polishing there still can be a few

[02:22] time those particles could eventually

[02:26] coating to fail so now we're to the

[02:30] you notice we have both the bottle of

[02:34] applicator we apply a specific measured

[02:39] across the panel

[02:46] once the solvents begin to dry and flash

[02:50] we know we're ready to begin to remove

[03:01] inspected under a good light source

[03:05] once the ceramic coating is cured here

[03:09] enjoy from having it on your vehicle

[03:13] terrific we put a thin layer of glass

[03:17] very reflective and shiny and it's going

[03:22] is that these ceramic coatings have what

[03:27] means that it has a very high surface

[03:32] together meaning that it is going to

[03:35] resist things like tar salt or even dirt

[03:41] part

[03:43] every few months a ceramic coating can

[03:50] to explain one thing to you all ceramic

[03:55] need to find number one a reputable

[03:59] and you're going to see the word ceramic

[04:05] they come in a plastic bottle they are

[04:09] solvents that need to be in a ceramic

[04:13] bottle so if you're looking online or

[04:18] stores and you see something to the

[04:23] understand that that's a last step

[04:27] thing as an installing a ceramic coating

[04:31] closer to wax as opposed to ceramic

[04:35] instead of a few years if you have

[04:39] coating installer or more about the
