[09:17] >> Hi, Zack.
[09:18] >> Uh and behind the camera making
[09:19] everything go is Brian Kim. Brian, say
[09:21] hi Zack.
[09:22] >> Hi, Zack.
[09:23] >> Okay. Um over under 20% on Hi, Zack.
[09:26] continuing sound off in the chat
[09:28] >> over
[09:28] >> over. Uh we will be keeping a close eye
[09:31] uh on the chat for super chats and
[09:33] questions from members and such. So
[09:34] please hit us up. We already saw um uh
[09:37] Christian Unpronouncable give out 10
[09:39] gift subs. Thank you, Christian
[09:40] Unpronouncable. Uh Frederick Price,
[09:42] member for 12 months. Uh can't wait.
[09:44] >> Frederick Price, one of our executive
[09:46] producers. We appreciate you, Frederick
[09:48] Price.
[09:48] >> Hey, Frederick. Uh Andrew Garrett with a
[09:50] $2 super chat or uh donation already.
[09:53] Over under 20% that tonight will rock.
[09:56] Over over that's that's a that's a iron
[09:59] lock
[10:00] >> iron lock on over
[10:01] >> and just for anybody that wasn't here
[10:03] yesterday get ready uh a meme was
[10:06] developed over the course of course of
[10:08] the evening during the Sony panel the
[10:10] question of over under 20% uh and so you
[10:13] know what we're going to embrace the
[10:14] meme we're staring into the skin we're
[10:15] leaning into
[10:16] >> and we're going to be doing our own over
[10:17] under 20%s uh throughout uh this panel.
[10:20] Yes Brian
[10:23] >> oh we we got another super chat. Oh. Uh,
[10:25] Kang the Conqueror discovered in the
[10:26] list. The list.
[10:28] >> Oh,
[10:28] >> I know there's a lot of lists going
[10:30] around, but I'm going to presume this is
[10:31] Heidi Fly's little back black book from
[10:33] the late '90s.
[10:34] >> From back in the '90s.
[10:35] >> Back in the '90s. That's the list.
[10:37] >> Uh, uh, Epste.
[10:38] >> Not Epste. No.
[10:39] >> Um,
[10:39] >> I mean, probably also Epstein, but, you
[10:41] know,
[10:42] >> wild that somebody could like uh time
[10:44] travel and has like thousands of
[10:45] variants, but still needs to go to a sex
[10:47] pest's uh island to uh get his rocks
[10:50] off. Okay. Um, let's so let's just do a
[10:53] real quick like sort of setup for what
[10:55] we're hoping to get today and what we
[10:57] got yesterday. So today's panel is WB.
[11:00] We're expecting to hear some big news
[11:01] around some DC releases. We will cover
[11:03] those soon. We're going to be doing it
[11:05] live and so there's going to be a lot of
[11:07] times where we're like, "Oh god, this
[11:08] thing just happened." Um, but first,
[11:10] let's do a quick recap of the biggest
[11:11] news from yesterday's Sony panel.
[11:14] Arguably the biggest news is that we saw
[11:16] an opening scene from Beyond the
[11:18] Spider-Verse as well as a new scene from
[11:20] Spider-Man Brand New Day. Uh we will
[11:23] have more thorough breakdowns of those
[11:24] scenes up on the channel.
[11:26] >> Well, they're currently the the
[11:28] breakdown of the Brand New Day channel.
[11:30] It's been up on the New Rockstars uh
[11:32] channel for a few hours.
[11:33] >> Oh, that's Oh, yes, that's live. Yes, we
[11:35] can that
[11:35] >> probably the Beyond the Spider-Verse.
[11:37] Eric's going to maybe get to that
[11:39] depending on other news that breaks this
[11:41] week at his earliest convenience. Yes.
[11:43] >> Also, you can make a decent case. The
[11:46] biggest news come out yesterday is that
[11:47] Beyond the Spiderverse has not been
[11:49] delayed.
[11:51] >> Anytime that happens, anytime they stick
[11:52] to their release date of June 2027, I
[11:55] think win for a little miracle. Now,
[11:57] there were a couple other big
[11:58] announcements from the Sony panel
[11:59] yesterday. Uh, filming is wrapped on
[12:01] Zelda. Uh, there are there's a new
[12:03] Insidious trailer online. Jack Septic
[12:06] Eyes developing an animated Bloodborne
[12:08] movie. Zack Kger's Resident Evil sounds
[12:11] gnarly as hell. people got to see a
[12:12] couple scenes showed a scene for that
[12:14] sounded great. Yeah.
[12:15] >> Um so yeah, so a lot of good stuff from
[12:17] Sony yesterday. If if Sony's panel
[12:20] yesterday is any indication for how
[12:22] today will go, it will start off with
[12:24] some major asskissing and brown-nosing
[12:26] of the prominent theater chain.
[12:28] >> Boring industry people. Yes.
[12:31] >> There'll be a solid half hour where you
[12:33] guys in the chat are like, "What's
[12:34] happening?" We'll be like, "Trust us,
[12:35] it's nothing you care about." Then all
[12:38] of a sudden, we will get news faster
[12:39] than we can digest it. Yes. And and
[12:42] specifically
[12:44] uh as as great and we didn't even
[12:46] mention they talked Jamanji yesterday
[12:48] there there was a lot Sony had a really
[12:50] good panel for Sony's purposes. Uh we
[12:54] got a super chat here. Um
[12:58] >> uh up
[13:01] down 18%.
[13:03] >> Clayface trailer today over. Also now
[13:06] we've already messed up with the meme.
[13:07] We've changed it from 20 to 18%. We're
[13:10] saying up down instead of over under.
[13:11] >> It's okay. We're playing with We're
[13:12] playing with Jeff
[13:13] >> over 18%. I don't know. Actually, I
[13:15] shouldn't say I don't know that we get a
[13:17] full trailer, but we will see some play.
[13:19] >> We got a hand up from Brian back there
[13:21] in the producer corner.
[13:22] >> Got a super chat coming in from Sarah
[13:24] Hatchador.
[13:24] >> Oh, per the bit. Hi, Zach. But also, hi
[13:27] Abby Berg and Brian. Over under 20%,
[13:29] there's an announcement that surprises
[13:31] as much as Bloodborne
[13:33] >> over and and here's why. So, I just want
[13:35] to do a quick recap of these are movies
[13:39] from Warner Brothers that are confirmed
[13:41] coming out in 2026. Okay, we've already
[13:43] mentioned a couple of them. Supergirl
[13:44] and Clayface, the two big DC releases,
[13:47] Dune 3.
[13:48] >> Yeah, number one in my heart and in my
[13:51] mind. Uh, but uh that's at the end of
[13:53] the year. But then these are other
[13:55] movies they have coming out this year.
[13:56] Uh, Mortal Kombat 2, Evil Dead Burn, The
[14:00] End of Oak Street, that's the Annne
[14:01] Heftway McGregor.
[14:03] >> No, no, no. That's not the JJ Abrams.
[14:05] That's the John Mitchell um the guy who
[14:08] did It Follows and Under the Silver
[14:10] Lake. It's the Ian Hathaway uh you
[14:13] McGregor. It's produced by JJ.
[14:15] But then J.J. Abrams also has a movie
[14:18] coming out, The Great Beyond Starring
[14:19] Glenn Powell that we know nothing about
[14:21] other than it's sci-fi. So we might get
[14:23] some interesting information there. Um
[14:25] Digger, the Tom Cruz
[14:29] film. Uh, the animated Cat in the Hat,
[14:32] Practical Magic 2, which is right up
[14:34] there with Devil Wars Prada 2 as far as
[14:36] like really speaking to millennial
[14:38] women, you know?
[14:39] >> I never saw Practical Magic until like
[14:41] three or four years ago. It's great.
[14:42] >> It's a good movie.
[14:43] >> It's so good. Yeah, it I mean like
[14:45] without having any nostalgia for it,
[14:47] just watching it being like this is
[14:49] wonderful.
[14:49] >> I don't know if Zach agrees based on
[14:51] that.
[14:52] >> Yeah, it's quite facial expression.
[14:53] >> You know what? Here's my only thing. I
[14:54] enjoyed Practical Magic. Nicole Kidman,
[14:56] Sandra Bulock, very talented. Maybe I'm
[14:59] so burned by Hocus Pocus, too.
[15:01] >> That was
[15:01] >> that I don't I don't want to let them
[15:03] hurt me again. You know what I mean?
[15:04] >> Yeah. Fair.
[15:05] >> But it would be Warner Brothers, not
[15:07] Disney.
[15:07] >> That's right. Yeah. Yeah. So, I I'm I'm
[15:09] hopeful there.
[15:10] >> I'll tell you this. I was in Salem,
[15:12] Massachusetts, uh right after Hocus
[15:15] Pocus 2 finished filming, and that city
[15:18] was a buzz with Hocus Pocus 2 hype.
[15:22] >> Interesting.
[15:22] >> It was That city goes all out for any
[15:24] witch movie and and Disney knows it. any
[15:27] which way, any which way movie. Uh, but
[15:29] so those are all the confirmed 2026
[15:31] movies. And then I should also say early
[15:32] in 27, so before the next Cinema Con, so
[15:35] they might mention it here. There's also
[15:36] a movie called Animal Friends, uh, that
[15:38] stars Aubrey Plaza and Dan Levy. Um, and
[15:42] it's it's it's like about them chasing
[15:45] animals, something like that. It seems
[15:46] like a fun com family comedy. Um, but
[15:49] things that we also could hear about
[15:50] today,
[15:52] >> uh, The Batman 2
[15:54] >> coming out next year. Matt Reeves is the
[15:55] Batman 2. Uh, Man of Tomorrow. We are
[15:58] anticipating James Gun being on stage.
[16:00] He was on stage last year. Anticipating.
[16:02] >> We just got some casting news this
[16:03] morning for Man of Tomorrow.
[16:04] >> Adri Jonah been cast in an unnamed I
[16:07] believe.
[16:07] >> Well, I don't know that they've said.
[16:09] >> Oh, it's undisclosed.
[16:10] >> Undisclosed. A lot of people are
[16:11] speculating it could be Maxima. Uh,
[16:13] that's coming out next year. And also,
[16:14] we don't know any other theatrical DC
[16:18] properties beyond Man of Tomorrow. They
[16:20] haven't green lit anything or slated
[16:21] anything. So maybe we get something
[16:23] confirmed there. Hunt for Gollum, the
[16:26] next liveaction Lord of the Rings movie.
[16:28] Warner Brothers is doing that. We uh
[16:31] could hear something about that. Um they
[16:33] have another Dr. Seuss movie. Oh, the
[16:35] Places You'll Go. Um there's like a a
[16:38] Flintstones movie that has been in the
[16:40] works.
[16:40] >> Interesting. Animated.
[16:41] >> I believe it's animated.
[16:43] >> I was going to say we bringing back John
[16:44] Goodman and Halib Berry. Like what's
[16:45] going on here?
[16:46] >> Yeah, I Oh, that'd be great. um
[16:48] Minecraft 2, you know, they're cooking
[16:50] on another Minecraft movie. And then um
[16:54] last at last year's panel, they showed
[16:56] footage from an animated DC movie,
[16:59] Dynamic Duo, about like two Robins
[17:01] teaming up. That movie is currently
[17:03] listed online is not coming out till
[17:05] 2028, but they showed footage last year.
[17:08] Yeah.
[17:08] >> So, like I I don't know. Maybe. So, all
[17:11] there's to say, either A, maybe that
[17:12] movie comes out sooner than 2028, or B,
[17:14] they're going to show us random footage
[17:16] from other movies that aren't coming out
[17:17] for 3 years. Yeah.
[17:18] >> Who knows? Um, but I wanted to run past
[17:22] you guys to steer into the over under
[17:24] 20% meme here.
[17:25] >> Get your quick overs or unders things
[17:28] that we might see in this panel. Tom
[17:30] Cruz on stage. Over under 20%.
[17:32] >> Over.
[17:33] >> Over.
[17:34] >> Yeah, he he often shows up. He was there
[17:36] for The Last Mission Impossible. He
[17:37] showed up for Maverick. I think that's a
[17:39] strong A shovel.
[17:41] >> Ooh, with a shovel.
[17:43] >> Shovel jumping.
[17:44] >> Great.
[17:45] >> Yeah,
[17:45] >> I like I like I like the boldness of
[17:47] that. Uh James Gunn on stage.
[17:49] >> Over.
[17:50] >> I think over and probably overstaying
[17:52] his welcome if last year's panel is
[17:55] anything to go by.
[17:56] >> Yes. Uh new DC project announced.
[18:00] >> I Man, that's tough. That feels like a
[18:04] ComicCon move more so than a Cineacon
[18:06] move. M
[18:08] >> or even just James Gun releases a video
[18:10] of him staring into camera and
[18:11] announcing that or he he announces it on
[18:13] threads or something like that.
[18:15] >> I'm going to say under.
[18:16] >> Okay.
[18:16] >> Yeah, I'm going to say.
[18:18] >> Yeah. Um
[18:20] uh do we get maybe um footage from Man
[18:27] of Tomorrow? As far as we know, it's not
[18:29] in production.
[18:30] >> No, but James Gun just today or
[18:32] yesterday posted a photo of David
[18:34] Kornswe in costume. Like we don't know.
[18:36] That could have been from the set of
[18:37] Superman.
[18:38] >> I think we may get production stills.
[18:41] >> Okay.
[18:41] >> I doubt we have any any footage or
[18:43] anything edited or may maybe some behind
[18:45] the scenes stuff tops, you know, shot of
[18:48] a costume or something, but but that's
[18:50] that's about it, I think.
[18:51] >> Um, do you think is Timmy Sha there?
[18:53] >> Yeah.
[18:54] >> Oh, yeah. Yeah. Timmy Timmy Shalom is
[18:56] everywhere. He's going to be there doing
[18:57] his schwap thing or whatever, you know,
[18:59] like he's he's going to show up. He's
[19:00] going to dance to Soulja Boy. Something
[19:02] dumb. Now, does he fight a ballerina on
[19:04] stage? Over under 20%.
[19:07] >> Over.
[19:08] >> Yeah. Yeah.
[19:11] >> An opera singer and a ballet ballerina.
[19:14] Same time. Um Yeah. Because he also
[19:16] recently they announced their uh
[19:19] >> Wonka 2 has been green lit. That's also
[19:22] Warner Brothers property
[19:23] >> with rumored Cersair Ronin.
[19:26] >> Can't go wrong with Cersei Ronin in my
[19:28] opinion. Yeah.
[19:29] >> We're due for a circus.
[19:31] You know what I mean? Say that three
[19:32] times fast. Um, she's been kind of
[19:34] quiet. She's made some movies that
[19:35] haven't been as big a hit. I mean, she
[19:36] was on a hell of a run there for a
[19:37] minute. I think she started a family as
[19:39] well, so like hasn't been working as
[19:41] much.
[19:41] >> Uh, is it What's the name of the guy
[19:43] from uh Slow Horses, right? Isn't that
[19:46] the
[19:47] >> Jack? Is he a Jack?
[19:48] >> I think he's a Jack.
[19:49] >> He's blonde.
[19:50] >> Uhhuh.
[19:50] >> Is he blonde? I think of him as a
[19:51] redhead.
[19:52] >> Oonnell and O'Donnell. Again, we have
[19:53] three laptops on stage. We will not be
[19:55] >> will not look it up. I got too many
[19:57] windows open. anything. I'm just
[19:58] >> I offered you a laptop and you said no.
[20:01] >> No, I wanted to be with
[20:03] >> She wants to be present. Um, a a quick
[20:06] reminder of Warner Brothers 2000 or
[20:09] 2025. So, they're coming off a hell of a
[20:12] year.
[20:12] >> Hang on. We're getting a Eric chiming
[20:14] into the chat.
[20:15] >> They gave attendees in the room these
[20:17] little plastic packages marked do not
[20:20] open.
[20:20] >> Oh,
[20:21] >> I bet it's like dirt.
[20:23] >> Oh, digger.
[20:24] >> Digger.
[20:25] >> Or I mean, yeah, do not open. Now, that
[20:28] could be those could be 3D glasses.
[20:30] >> Yes.
[20:30] >> Could be uh smellvision scratchers.
[20:33] >> Jess squeezed it and it felt like a
[20:34] plushy.
[20:35] >> Oh, then why do not open?
[20:39] It's a thing one or a thing two.
[20:42] >> Don't open that box. They'll wreck your
[20:43] house.
[20:44] >> Thing one and thing two. Thing two and
[20:45] thing one. They can do anything,
[20:46] anything, anything under the sun.
[20:48] >> That's right.
[20:48] >> Right. We almost
[20:51] one bit. Um uh that's fun. Yeah, that's
[20:54] of course Bill her. Uh, it's gonna be a
[20:56] big release for them this year. Big
[20:58] family film. Um, okay. But quick
[21:02] reminder of Warner Brothers 2025.
[21:07] >> Superman, obviously we talked about that
[21:09] a lot here. Uh, one battle after
[21:10] another, the best picture winner,
[21:12] >> huge
[21:12] >> sinners, the most nominated uh, film at
[21:15] the Academy Award ever. Um, Final
[21:18] Destination Bloodline, very beloved
[21:21] horror reboot kind of. They also had
[21:23] Conjuring Last Rights. It was very
[21:25] successful Minecraft movie that I think
[21:27] was a top 10 box office.
[21:29] >> That movie was huge
[21:30] >> hit. Um they now they co-produced with
[21:33] Apple F1. It wasn't fully a Warner
[21:36] Brothers movie, but that movie was also
[21:38] a big hit. Um and then and weapons, one
[21:41] of my favorite movies uh of last year.
[21:43] And then you know what? They had some
[21:45] swings and misses in there too. Mickey
[21:47] 17, The Bride, you know, they can't all
[21:49] be bangers, but they're a studio that
[21:51] their recent history has been in
[21:53] addition to they're hitting the IP like
[21:55] everybody else. They got DC movies, they
[21:57] got Minecraft movies, whatever. But they
[21:59] are taking some big original film
[22:02] swings,
[22:02] >> which I love to see. And and obviously,
[22:05] you can't talk about WB's future without
[22:07] talking about the looming merger with
[22:09] Paramount. There's a lot of uncertainty
[22:11] around what their film slate even can be
[22:14] moving out. Paramount claims they want
[22:17] to put out 30 movies combined between
[22:20] those two studios every year. The math
[22:22] on that feels wonky. Deadline had a
[22:24] great piece on it on Sunday if you want
[22:26] to dig into it a little bit more. But so
[22:28] I'm curious with WB going into the CI
[22:31] into Cineacon today. Like how far out
[22:34] are they able to actually promise and
[22:36] how much of this is just going trust us
[22:38] we will be making
[22:39] >> and again those two studios have not yet
[22:41] merged. there's still like some people
[22:43] trying to fight that. They think even
[22:45] best case scenario that's probably not
[22:47] happening till the end of 2026. Um so
[22:49] for now they are presenting separately.
[22:51] And also we just got news today speaking
[22:53] of Paramount they announced that they
[22:55] are going to be um producing a Longlegs
[22:58] sequel.
[22:59] >> Okay.
[23:00] >> Still starring a Nicholas Cage which is
[23:02] interesting if you saw Longlegs one. um
[23:06] uh that that was a neon property, but
[23:08] apparently they wanted to do bigger
[23:09] budget and things like that, so they had
[23:10] to go to a bigger studio and that was
[23:12] Paramount. So that that's interesting.
[23:13] Paramount is doing a panel tomorrow, so
[23:16] maybe they talk about that as well. Um,
[23:18] but like you know talking about Warner
[23:21] Brothers last year,
[23:23] one battle after another and sinners
[23:25] kind of and weapons kind of being three
[23:28] original films from kind of uh very
[23:32] talented iconic classic directors,
[23:35] writer directors. It they have on their
[23:38] slate this year some similar big swings
[23:41] on original properties. Digger, the Tom
[23:43] Cruz movie we mentioned before, this
[23:45] great beyond J.J. Abrams first
[23:47] theatrical film I think since The Last
[23:50] Jedi.
[23:51] >> No, Rise of Skywalker.
[23:52] >> Rise of Skywalker. Yeah. Sorry, he
[23:53] didn't do Last Jedi. Yeah, Rise of
[23:55] Skywalker, but that's so his first movie
[23:58] in a number of years. It's supposedly an
[24:00] original sci-fi movie starring Glenn
[24:01] Pal. We know nothing about it. Maybe we
[24:03] get some footage. Um, and then The End
[24:05] of Oak Street. Uh, the one we mentioned
[24:08] earlier, which I a trailer has already
[24:10] been released for that. It's like set in
[24:11] the 80s. this family realizes that like
[24:14] at the end of their street like the
[24:15] world has disappeared or something like
[24:16] that. Seems like a kind of creepy uh
[24:20] sci-fi kind of thing. I mean, could one
[24:23] of those end up being the sinners or the
[24:25] weapons of next year?
[24:28] >> I feel like the end of Oak Street has
[24:29] weapons potential.
[24:31] >> Yeah, that feels like it could be like a
[24:33] good sort of one. I mean, I'm sure if
[24:35] it's successful, they'll franchise it,
[24:37] but it feels like it could be a good
[24:38] sort of oneoff. Hey, you can come in,
[24:40] have an adventure with the family, and
[24:42] then leave. Looks like it's four
[24:43] quadrant. Kids are very heavily
[24:45] involved, you know, like I think that
[24:46] could be a a good one. Um
[24:51] uh okay. Uh let's real quick before the
[24:55] uh stream gets started, we want to do
[24:57] just a couple of of
[24:58] >> Well, the the stream has started. Before
[25:00] the panel
[25:00] >> before the panel starts, we want to do a
[25:02] quick plug. We have a uh live show
[25:05] coming up this Friday in Los Angeles. Uh
[25:08] April 17th at 7 p.m. New Rock Stars will
[25:11] be doing a live staged reading of
[25:14] MorbiiUs at the Upright Systems Brigade
[25:16] Theater in Los Angeles. Carl Tart uh is
[25:19] going to be doing the show with us. Uh
[25:21] if you are in LA, you can buy tickets
[25:23] and come to the show using the link in
[25:24] the description. If you're not in LA and
[25:26] you want to watch remotely, you can buy
[25:28] live stream tickets to the show in the
[25:30] description. Uh so please uh please
[25:33] click below. Uh we also want to give a
[25:35] real quick uh shout out to Curiosity Box
[25:38] who is sponsoring our week of Cineacon
[25:41] content. Now if you were here yesterday,
[25:43] we made a big bal who about their
[25:45] hard-boiled egg molds.
[25:46] >> So this is I think the actual box is
[25:49] right behind you there, B. So this is a
[25:50] a monthly uh like delivery box. This is
[25:54] from the um uh the creator behind the
[25:57] Vsauce uh YouTube channel, Science
[26:00] Creator that puts out this box. And
[26:02] every month it's a different thing. We
[26:04] talked about it yesterday. There's
[26:05] there's some fun bits, but one of the
[26:06] things that I found most fun in there
[26:09] are these little hard-boiled egg molds.
[26:11] Okay, I've used these to delight my
[26:14] daughter. and we're gonna reveal uh
[26:17] producer Patty went home last night,
[26:19] used this mold
[26:21] >> uh to
[26:23] >> make some hard-boiled eggs.
[26:24] >> Yes.
[26:26] >> Isn't this the coolest thing you ever
[26:29] heck
[26:30] >> yeah?
[26:30] >> This is a a a diamond shaped uh
[26:34] hard-boiled egg. It feels a little bit
[26:36] like a softboiled. And just to prove,
[26:38] you know, no camera magic taking place
[26:40] here. This looks like a a diamond ring.
[26:45] Hell yeah. Hell yeah. Go cool hand Luke
[26:48] on it.
[26:50] >> Or Euphoria season 3 episode 1.
[26:52] >> Haven't watched it yet. Spoilers.
[26:56] >> Okay. This one didn't This one didn't
[26:57] turn out as well. I have found I've also
[26:58] found some struggles with the Einstein
[27:00] head.
[27:00] >> You got to get a real big egg. Real
[27:02] >> has to be a jumbo egg. Uh cuz he's got a
[27:04] big old head. Um but they have a a bunch
[27:07] of cool things. You get a different uh
[27:11] >> it's a quarterly delivery thing. They
[27:14] are all these kind of like sciency but
[27:17] mostly fun.
[27:18] >> Yeah. We have these ambic cuties, you
[27:20] know, is it a rabbit? Is it a duck? And
[27:22] they made a plushy out of it. They have
[27:23] a whole line of these that are really
[27:25] fun. So you can see
[27:27] >> duck.
[27:28] >> Oh,
[27:29] >> rabbit.
[27:31] >> What is it?
[27:32] >> Duck. That's a That's to you to decide.
[27:34] >> Oh yeah.
[27:35] >> Rabbit.
[27:38] >> So Oh wow. Uh, so there's a link in the
[27:42] in our description. Um, if you click on
[27:44] that link, you can you can get a little
[27:46] discount if you subscribe to Curiosity
[27:48] Box. We also get a little uh kickback
[27:51] there, so you help support our channel.
[27:53] This makes for a great gift. Maybe
[27:55] you've got a science lover in your life.
[27:57] Maybe you got a mom. Mother's Day is
[27:59] coming up.
[28:00] >> This is a fun gift for mom. Maybe you
[28:02] got a dad that would like this kind of
[28:03] thing. Father's Day is not too far off.
[28:05] Uh, so it's a great gift. It's also just
[28:07] fun for yourself if you like a little
[28:08] treat in the mail every once in a while.
[28:11] So, thank you to Curiosity Box there.
[28:13] >> We got a hand up from Brian. Some super
[28:14] chats incoming.
[28:15] >> Yeah, some super chats. First one from
[28:18] Christian Unpronouncable right here.
[28:19] >> Okay. Uh Christian Unpronouncable
[28:21] saying, "Found out my local theater will
[28:22] be playing Digital Circus. $5 super
[28:24] chat." Thank you, Christian
[28:25] Unpronouncable. I I've been seeing like
[28:28] digital circus pop up in my sidebar and
[28:31] stuff, but I I don't know what it I
[28:33] believe it's uh what what the property
[28:35] is or what the event is?
[28:37] >> Both.
[28:38] >> Okay. So, this is and I'm I'm not super
[28:40] well versed in it, but I know it is a it
[28:42] it started online. It has been it has
[28:45] become very popular. They're doing a big
[28:47] finale event in theaters. I believe it
[28:49] set a record for Fathom Events, the
[28:52] people that do like the opera and movie
[28:53] theaters and stuff like that as far as
[28:55] like pre-sales. Uh so, that's that's a
[28:58] big deal. And apparently Christian
[28:59] Unpronouncable will also uh be able to
[29:01] attend that. Yeah, we got more super
[29:03] chats coming in.
[29:05] >> Okay, Omalore, $5 super chat. Thank you
[29:08] for coming back, Omalore. Crazy Theory
[29:10] 3, they announced they are not merging
[29:11] with Paramount. No chance.
[29:14] >> No, that would that would pop the
[29:16] audience pretty hard cuz I think theater
[29:18] owners are not excited about losing a
[29:20] movie studio.
[29:21] >> I think Damon Lindelof had a quote
[29:23] yesterday after they signed this like
[29:24] thousand person, you know, thousand
[29:26] Hollywood luminary, please don't let
[29:28] this merger and he he called out and
[29:30] this is true. He was like, "People don't
[29:32] realize that LA is a bluecollar town.
[29:35] Like for for as much as the celebrities
[29:38] get all the attention and all the
[29:40] pictures, like for every Brad Pitt,
[29:43] there are 200 dudes in cargo shorts who
[29:46] like just wake up at 6:00 a.m. to make
[29:49] sure that all the panels are put up and
[29:51] all the rigging is done."
[29:52] >> The the lot the parking lots on studios
[29:56] are filled with pickup trucks.
[29:57] >> Yes.
[29:57] >> And like beat up old sedans and stuff
[29:59] like that. And like those are the people
[30:01] who lose their jobs when Hollywood
[30:03] produces uh less content. Yeah, for
[30:06] sure. Um, okay, we've got another uh
[30:08] super chat coming in. I can read this
[30:10] one. Carson Robinson saying over under
[30:12] 20% we get stills or posters for
[30:15] Supergirl. I think that's a hard over. I
[30:17] think I think Millie AOK might be on
[30:21] stage.
[30:22] >> Um, we might get some previously
[30:24] unreleased scenes for sure. Over under
[30:26] 20% DC brings back the Arowverse as
[30:31] canon.
[30:31] >> I think under I I think DC really liked
[30:33] the Aerrowverse. I think it was really
[30:34] good for them, but I think they're in a
[30:35] new era now. I think they're just
[30:38] >> don't want to look back. We're looking
[30:39] forward. Also, I should announce Thank
[30:41] you to everybody that's already done
[30:42] super chats.
[30:43] >> I I will and I'll personally uh keep
[30:46] track of this. The person that sends in
[30:48] the highest super chat during the
[30:49] stream, I will drink a beer in your
[30:51] honor during the Disney panel on
[30:52] Thursday. Okay. on stream. I I will slam
[30:55] a bureau in your honor and the person
[30:57] >> at the beginning or at the end of the
[30:59] stream.
[30:59] >> Well, that's I mean, if I do it at the
[31:01] beginning, it'll just be chaos. Okay. Uh
[31:04] and uh also, whoever has sent in the
[31:06] most cumulative super chats, I also try
[31:08] to keep track of that and we appreciate
[31:10] you even uh at at at volume. So, like
[31:13] both of I will drink two bureaus on the
[31:15] Thursday uh Disney stream. Speaking of
[31:17] the Thursday stream, Brian, can we pull
[31:18] up our little schedule for the week just
[31:20] to remind folks? Um, there we go. Okay.
[31:24] And we already got rid of Monday cuz
[31:25] that's the past, baby. That's cancelled
[31:27] check. So, today uh we've got the Warner
[31:29] Brothers panel starting uh now or um
[31:33] soon.
[31:34] >> Yes. Uh tomorrow um we got the Universal
[31:38] panel. We'll be getting Minions and
[31:40] Monsters. We'll be getting Disclosure
[31:42] Day, The Odyssey, all kinds of other uh
[31:45] releases. And then the biggest one for
[31:47] us probably Disney on Thursday. Uh we'll
[31:50] get we we've got confirmed Doomsday news
[31:53] that will be dropped on Thursday in
[31:56] addition to Mandalor and Grou, Star Wars
[31:59] Starf Fighter, lots of other properties
[32:01] as well. So
[32:02] >> yeah, we we think Thursday is going to
[32:04] be for fans of our channel who watch our
[32:06] content. That will be the one that hits
[32:08] right in the bullseye. Um so we're
[32:12] excited about that.
[32:14] Uh there's a second part of that
[32:16] question which was uh over under uh DC
[32:20] brings back the arrowverse.
[32:21] >> Oh, I'm saying no. I'm saying they moved
[32:23] on. Yeah. Yeah.
[32:25] >> We're saying they moved on from under% I
[32:28] would still pick. Yeah. That's not
[32:29] happening. Also, that was never a
[32:30] theatrical thing. So like I I assume
[32:32] this is quick reminder Cineacon is just
[32:34] movies and specifically it's just movies
[32:36] that go to theaters.
[32:37] >> Yes.
[32:38] >> So no no streaming.
[32:40] >> Yeah. That's why you don't have a big
[32:41] Netflix presence, you know. Yeah.
[32:44] >> Um,
[32:45] >> okay. We got another super chat coming
[32:46] in. Uh, CT Cook 6477, no more mergers or
[32:52] monopolies. Thumbs down. That's right.
[32:54] That's the proper direction to point
[32:56] your thumbs.
[32:57] >> Yeah, it's never good for anyone but the
[33:00] fat cats when the fat cat companies
[33:02] merge.
[33:03] >> Yes.
[33:03] >> Uh, OG Slender PG with a gremlin. Uh, I
[33:06] hope they announce some Gremlins 3 news
[33:08] tonight. I I mean,
[33:10] >> yeah, I would love that. Uh, I'm a huge
[33:12] Joe Dante fan. Gremlins 2: The New Batch
[33:15] is one of the most delightfully unhinged
[33:17] movies. Do you guys know the story
[33:19] behind that movie?
[33:20] >> Yes.
[33:20] >> He basically Gremlins 1 was a huge
[33:22] success and the the studio was trying to
[33:25] get Joe Dante to make a sequel for ages.
[33:28] And he was just like, I will not unless
[33:31] you give me zero notes. And they finally
[33:34] caved. And so Gremlins 2: The New Batch
[33:37] is just like lunacy because nobody could
[33:40] tell him how. a great Kian Peele sketch
[33:42] about Gremlins 2 and how they just
[33:45] squeezed in every insane thing they
[33:47] could. Yeah. And so I think
[33:48] >> I believe that there recently announced
[33:51] Gremlins 3 in development. I don't know
[33:53] if it has a slated date yet. I believe
[33:56] Joe Dante is attached to it in some
[33:58] degree.
[33:58] >> Yeah.
[33:59] >> Yeah. That'd be that's going to be dope.
[34:01] Uh, we're kind of in a in a zone right
[34:03] now with Masters of the Universe, Street
[34:06] Fighter, Mortal Kombat, a lot of things
[34:09] that Children of the 80s and 90s were
[34:12] immersed in are getting their big kind
[34:14] of theatrical reboots. I mean, Super
[34:16] Mario Galaxy in theaters right now.
[34:18] >> Yes. All right, let's see. We got the
[34:19] New Rockstars Twitter feed up.
[34:21] >> Sorry, I'm in the way.
[34:22] >> No, no, no, no, no.
[34:24] >> Okay, we just got Eric and Jess in
[34:27] Vegas. our our own Eric Voss and Jessica
[34:29] Clemens are in the room in uh at Las
[34:31] Vegas Cinema Con for this WB panel. They
[34:35] will be kind of relaying information in
[34:37] real time and then we will uh tell you
[34:39] about it. Um so we will be refreshing
[34:42] the new Rockstar's Twitter account. Eric
[34:44] Voss himself is uh tweeting on that
[34:47] account. You can also follow that. Um
[34:50] yes, we've got more super chats coming
[34:52] in.
[34:53] Uh
[34:54] >> Nick Howie uh saying Amazon and
[34:57] Universal have a panel on Wednesday.
[34:58] Yes, Paramount and Disney are on
[35:00] Thursday. Thank you. Oh, and is that a
[35:02] New Zealand?
[35:03] >> Looks like New Zealand. This is Kiwi
[35:05] Money.
[35:06] >> My man, are you already tomorrow? Uh
[35:08] Nick Howie
[35:09] >> 19 hours ahead of us.
[35:10] >> I know. So you're you're technically
[35:11] you're tweeting us. You're super
[35:13] chatting from the Universal panel. Um
[35:16] but uh yeah, so we should clarify there.
[35:19] So, every day at um at Cineacon, every
[35:22] studio has panels, right? They kind of
[35:25] the the four biggest studios, Sony,
[35:28] Warner Brothers, Universal, and Disney
[35:30] have kind of the afternoon, evening
[35:31] spots over the four days, but then other
[35:33] studios also have other spots. We were
[35:35] just doing one stream per day. So, we'll
[35:37] kind of recap the the smaller ones.
[35:40] Yesterday, there were also panels from
[35:42] Angel Studios and uh Focus Features uh
[35:47] and Studio Canal. Today already there
[35:49] was a panel for Neon. Yes. Where they uh
[35:51] they showed some interesting footage
[35:53] from some smaller films. Neon does a lot
[35:55] of great horror work uh and some kind of
[35:57] dramas and awards.
[35:58] >> Neon also sometimes has just the best
[36:00] marketing of of any any studio.
[36:03] >> Yeah, Neon and A24 right up there. Uh
[36:06] Nicholas R. Hun just sent in a donation.
[36:08] Thank you for your donation.
[36:10] >> Nicholas Hun Loi girl lore enthusiasts.
[36:13] Uh people have been given a mysterious
[36:15] package ahead of the Warner Brothers
[36:16] panel says do not open. We know one of
[36:18] those people was Jessica Clemens and she
[36:20] has squeezed it and said it felt like a
[36:22] plush.
[36:23] >> So we we speculating and uh it was Aby's
[36:26] idea feels guaranteed true that it is
[36:28] probably a thing one or thing two from
[36:31] uh the Cat in the Hat
[36:32] >> animated film. Now what would be the
[36:34] wildest thing that it could be? like a
[36:36] human foot,
[36:39] you know, like like if they gave
[36:41] everybody if WB gave everybody a severed
[36:43] human foot and was like, "Don't open it
[36:46] >> to any movie."
[36:46] >> Unrelated to any It's not part of a
[36:48] promotional thing. They were just like,
[36:49] "We had to get rid of these in a way
[36:51] that would like, you know,
[36:52] >> what if it's just like a bag of hair?"
[36:54] >> Yeah. Yeah. It's Yeah. Same thing.
[36:56] >> Digger. I mean, supposedly in in the the
[36:58] little leaked or released teaser footage
[37:01] we got for Tom Cruz's Digger film,
[37:04] doesn't it appear he has really long
[37:05] hair?
[37:05] >> Yeah, it looked like he had like kind of
[37:06] like a malt thing.
[37:07] >> What if it's like a digger wig?
[37:09] >> Digger wig.
[37:11] >> A bigger dig.
[37:11] >> I'm not going to I'm not going to merge
[37:12] those two together. We got another uh
[37:14] hand up from Brian
[37:17] Jared LT78. Uh $5 super chat. Thank you,
[37:19] Jared. Do you think we'll find out who
[37:21] uh Adria Arjona will be playing a man of
[37:23] tomorrow?
[37:24] >> Over under 20%. I might go over. I think
[37:27] there's a reason they announced the
[37:28] casting today right before the Warner
[37:30] Brothers panel. Um, also James Gunn
[37:33] really likes to be the one to break any
[37:35] DC news.
[37:37] >> So, I feel like he can kind of own that
[37:38] story by saying it on stage. Maybe
[37:41] there's kind of been a weird little
[37:42] journey there of last week, uh, some
[37:45] outlets reported that there were four
[37:47] actresses in the running for some part
[37:49] in this film. um James Gunn came out and
[37:52] was like dispelled that like no this
[37:54] isn't true at all. But one of the
[37:56] actresses mentioned in that grouping was
[37:58] Adriara Jonas. So like clearly it was
[38:00] true to some degree. Um so it's been
[38:03] kind of an interesting arc to that
[38:05] story.
[38:06] >> Do we know who's playing Brainiac?
[38:08] >> Yes. Is it Matias Shunarts? Is that
[38:10] right?
[38:11] >> No. That's the gentleman playing uh
[38:14] what's his name of the Yellow Hills and
[38:15] Supergirl. It's a
[38:17] >> Yes, you're right. You're right. It's a
[38:18] It's a Danish actor who was in um he was
[38:22] just in that George Clooney movie that
[38:23] came out last year, but is a relative um
[38:27] unknown to uh American audiences, I
[38:30] believe.
[38:30] >> I like already forgot.
[38:32] >> Yeah,
[38:33] >> the whole cast.
[38:36] >> Uh we have another
[38:37] >> Oh, Lars Edinger, the chat is telling
[38:39] us, "Thank you, chat. Thank you, James
[38:41] Reges. Thank you, Begsy."
[38:42] >> It will also be interesting. He might be
[38:44] fully CGI. We don't know.
[38:46] >> Yeah, true. Yeah.
[38:48] >> Um,
[38:49] >> so this wasn't a super chat, but it's
[38:50] something that people have asked in chat
[38:52] earlier. Um, there's like we don't know
[38:55] for certain who uh they're going to cast
[38:58] the uh what was her name? Adria.
[39:01] >> Adri Jonah, you know. Uh, but do you
[39:04] think higher or lower uh it's like
[39:06] someone like Maxima or someone new or
[39:08] maybe Wonder Woman? Because some people
[39:10] are thinking maybe she could be Wonder
[39:10] Woman.
[39:11] >> I don't think it's I don't think it's
[39:12] Wonder Woman. Um, I mean, you know,
[39:15] deadlines said maximum. It's possible
[39:17] that's a red herring. It's possible
[39:19] they're misinformed.
[39:21] Um, but I I would be surprised if Wonder
[39:25] Woman would be appearing at this point
[39:28] in this way.
[39:29] >> I don't know. That could be I kind of
[39:30] like that.
[39:31] >> I kind of like that, too.
[39:32] >> I don't hate it. I It would just
[39:33] surprise me. A Way to Soft Launch, a
[39:36] spin-off character. Um,
[39:38] >> yeah, I kind of like that. Also, Adri
[39:41] Jonah is an actress who is definitely
[39:44] her stars on the rise. She's had a great
[39:45] last couple years. Hitman with Glenn
[39:48] Powell andor she's in the upcoming
[39:51] Thomas Crown Affair uh reboot with
[39:53] Michael B. Jordan.
[39:54] >> MorbiiUs.
[39:55] >> Morbius, which you could see us do a
[39:58] live table reading. Maybe maybe I will
[40:00] play her character in the table reading.
[40:02] We don't know.
[40:03] >> Um she was a doctor in that.
[40:05] >> Yes, she was she was some kind of
[40:07] doctor.
[40:07] >> Yes. Uh she's great and everything. Um,
[40:10] big fan of her work. Um, so yeah. Oo, I
[40:13] hadn't even thought about Wonder Woman.
[40:15] I like that. Even if it's not going to
[40:17] happen, I like that pick. Um, yeah,
[40:21] great. Uh, also, thank you to everybody
[40:23] in the chat. Obviously, we're
[40:25] prioritizing reading the super chats,
[40:26] but we appreciate everybody being active
[40:27] in there. I see you Hannah Hannah Basso,
[40:30] Nick Howie still in there, Dan the Fan,
[40:33] Christian Unpronouncable, Jason Guy,
[40:35] Smiley. Thank you all for participating.
[40:37] We'll be throwing that out. Um again,
[40:39] what are you of all the potential Warner
[40:42] Brothers properties that we might learn
[40:43] about today? What are you most excited
[40:45] about? Um if you weren't here with us
[40:47] yesterday, any thoughts on that Sony
[40:50] panel and the kind of uh things that
[40:52] were revealed there? Um I am my my
[40:57] appetite for Brand New Day and Beyond
[40:59] the Spider-Verse is wetted. Yes,
[41:02] >> you know what I mean? I'm I'm very
[41:04] excited for both of Christian
[41:05] Unpronouncable with the super chat. $2
[41:07] saying also like the stream everyone
[41:09] watching. Thank you Christian
[41:10] Unpronouncable. But that is my job to
[41:13] say like and subscribe trash bags. Uh it
[41:16] cost you nothing but it helps us so
[41:18] much. So please please please like and
[41:19] subscribe.
[41:20] >> Yes.
[41:21] >> Um great. Uh we could also uh
[41:27] chat about um uh what was your favorite
[41:31] uh Abby? I don't know if we've had this
[41:33] conversation on
[41:34] >> Oh, no.
[41:34] >> Um, what was your favorite Warner
[41:36] Brothers release from last year?
[41:38] >> I also loved Weapons.
[41:40] >> Yeah,
[41:40] >> that was I didn't know what to expect. I
[41:43] had to go see it opening night because
[41:44] we were covering it. It was like what
[41:47] maybe my favorite movie of the year, but
[41:49] I also love Superman.
[41:50] >> Yeah.
[41:51] >> Yeah. So,
[41:52] >> they had a great year.
[41:53] >> Yeah. I mean, I I I think for me, one
[41:55] battle after another blew my mind so
[41:58] hard. Weapons is a very close second for
[42:00] me. a very different movie. Um, but I I
[42:04] just think Zack Kger is such an
[42:06] interesting horror director right now.
[42:09] Uh, like Jordan Peele, he has this
[42:11] comedy background. And I think there's
[42:13] obviously a ton of overlap in terms of
[42:15] like setting expectations and then
[42:16] breaking them, whether that is for the
[42:18] surprise of a joke or the shock of a
[42:20] horror beat. Um, and I think he's
[42:24] managed a Zack Kger has managed a way to
[42:26] make his movies utterly horrifying while
[42:30] also fun without like being like kind of
[42:32] tongue and cheek or winky. And I think
[42:34] that's a really fine line to walk and he
[42:36] does it really well.
[42:38] >> Yes, agreed. Uh, we got a super chat
[42:40] coming in here.
[42:42] Uh, Hannah Basso saying, "Did y'all see
[42:45] the Cineacon popcorn buckets? Which has
[42:48] been your fave so far? I've seen a video
[42:49] of them all and I don't know my fave
[42:51] yet. I think the only ones I've seen I
[42:53] saw the Masters of the Universe
[42:55] >> had um
[42:56] >> I haven't seen any of them yet.
[42:57] >> Their bucket and their cup. I do love I
[42:59] believe the it was hard to you know
[43:00] these these buckets and cups have gotten
[43:02] so insane you can't really tell what is
[43:04] what. You know
[43:05] >> sometimes it could be a bucket. It could
[43:07] be like a sculptural lawn ornament.
[43:10] >> Is it a hat? Is it a tunic? I don't
[43:12] know. But um I believe the bucket was
[43:14] there was a castle gray skull that
[43:15] looked pretty sick. And then the cup was
[43:18] a sword.
[43:19] >> Oh,
[43:20] >> it was He-Man's sword that I think you
[43:22] drink out of one end. I It was hard to
[43:24] make it out of the image. Yeah, we got
[43:25] another super chat. Thank you, Hannah
[43:27] Basso.
[43:28] >> Change comic saying, "Godzilla minus
[43:30] Zero trailer is out." Yes, it dropped
[43:32] just about uh 45 minutes ago.
[43:35] >> Looks great.
[43:36] >> So cool. I was telling Berg as I watched
[43:38] it. So cool to see that Toho logo uh pop
[43:41] up before it.
[43:42] >> Uh also, we completed a poll. I asked
[43:45] everybody, "What's the WB property
[43:47] you're most excited for?" Their choices
[43:50] were Animeaniac's Gritty Reboot or
[43:53] Freakazoid Broadway musical. I have to
[43:56] say, Ananiac's Gritty Reboot won by a
[43:59] mile. So, get ready to see Yako, Wacko,
[44:02] and Dot all with like deep trauma. One
[44:05] of them probably has like a fentinyl
[44:07] addiction or something like it's going
[44:09] to they're living in that water tower,
[44:11] but it's like a flop house. Uh, it's
[44:13] going to be great.
[44:14] >> Yeah. All the things you loved about
[44:15] Animania.
[44:16] >> Yeah. Yeah. They're trying to get
[44:18] through all the countries in the world
[44:19] and they just keep getting hung up on
[44:21] France for some reason. Um, okay. We got
[44:24] another super chat coming in here. Uh,
[44:26] Sarah Hatchorian. I don't know if it's
[44:28] already been shown before, but there is
[44:29] a Supergirl movie poster. Uh, maybe we
[44:32] can find that on the big screen, Brian.
[44:35] Um,
[44:37] if it's out. Well, they've been Is that
[44:39] the one of like her kind of Oh, got two
[44:42] of them.
[44:43] >> I like this.
[44:44] >> Keeping kind of with like the the lowfi
[44:46] punk rock blondie theme uh established
[44:49] in the early early traers and teasers
[44:52] >> being sold at Revolve Fest.
[44:55] >> What's this? At what? Can you read that,
[44:57] Abby? There's a little like at
[44:59] >> teru
[45:01] all terarin.
[45:03] >> Good job.
[45:04] >> Interesting. Interesting.
[45:06] >> Interesting. I I do love how like most
[45:09] content creators um they talk about the
[45:11] Warner Brothers slate. They're like they
[45:13] got, you know, here's what they got
[45:14] coming out. Supergirl. I'm not
[45:15] interested in that one. And then they go
[45:16] on and list all the other ones.
[45:18] >> Yeah. Yeah.
[45:19] >> I don't know. I mean, whatever. We don't
[45:20] we don't need to get into the uh the
[45:22] politics of any of these releases.
[45:24] >> Here we go. Pat Oswalt is taking the
[45:26] stage. Uh
[45:28] >> uh jokingly pitching himself as a DC
[45:30] villain like Mr. Mix Mix Pitlick or Toy
[45:33] Maker. James Gunn, I know you've been
[45:35] getting my texts. Gun has been invoked.
[45:38] It's only a matter of time before he
[45:40] shows up in person.
[45:41] >> I mean, Patton Oswald runs in that Steve
[45:43] AG circle of uh LA comedians, so it's
[45:47] like I know he's gone to parties at
[45:49] James Gun's house. I'm kind of surprised
[45:51] he hasn't already appeared in
[45:53] Peacemaker. Um, again, that is a tweet
[45:55] on the new Rockstar Twitter account that
[45:57] is uh that is being written by Eric Voss
[45:59] in the room at Cineacon. Yes, we got
[46:01] another super chat coming in from Tyler
[46:04] Makami. Expecting Clayface trailer
[46:07] public release question mark. Thanks.
[46:10] Let's do the math here. Clayface comes
[46:11] out in October.
[46:13] >> So, we are six months out.
[46:15] >> Yep.
[46:15] >> That would not be too far out of line.
[46:17] When did we get the Supergirl trailer?
[46:19] That was last year.
[46:20] >> Yeah, we got into last year.
[46:22] >> So, that was more than six months ahead
[46:24] of the release of Supergirl. So, it
[46:25] wouldn't be it wouldn't be uncalled for
[46:27] to get a Clayface trailer today. I think
[46:29] they wanted to probably play in front of
[46:31] Supergirl, I'm assuming.
[46:33] >> Yeah. Yeah,
[46:34] >> maybe in June. Yes. Okay, we got another
[46:37] super chat coming in. Loi Girl, lore
[46:40] enthusiast. Thank you again. Cast Mason
[46:42] Thes's Flash. Just a thought.
[46:45] >> I saw that Colleen Hoover movie with him
[46:49] >> and I went on a Saturday night with a
[46:52] bunch of teenagers. He moved and the
[46:55] whole theater would erupt just like in
[46:58] noises.
[46:59] >> Which movie was this?
[47:00] >> It was like me.
[47:02] >> Was this like the one where the parents
[47:04] are in the car crash?
[47:05] >> Regretting regretting you. I thought I
[47:07] was going to say
[47:08] >> he's of course the live action How to
[47:10] Train Your Dragon gentleman. Um. Okay.
[47:13] >> So, if they want like the teen
[47:16] heartthrob, then I say they go for him
[47:18] for Flash.
[47:19] >> I think that would be good.
[47:20] >> The Black Phone franchise. Uh, sure. Um,
[47:25] >> he might be busy.
[47:26] >> He He might be busy. He might say no to
[47:28] a Flash, maybe. We don't know. Uh, be a
[47:31] fool of him, but we got another super
[47:32] chat coming through. Uh,
[47:36] >> Mike. Mike Azenego. I hope I pronounced
[47:40] that right. Mike, uh, over under 20%.
[47:42] Any Aerrowverse actor has cast in DCU?
[47:44] >> I'm going to say under. I'm going to say
[47:46] under. I think I think they're trying to
[47:48] make a clean break.
[47:49] >> Deep under. No. No Averse. No arrow
[47:51] verse.
[47:52] >> Maybe Grant Gustin
[47:54] >> as as who who is that?
[47:56] >> Yeah,
[47:57] >> he's gonna be up against Mason ths.
[47:58] >> Yeah, maybe. I mean, a lot of people
[48:01] appeared in that show. I don't think any
[48:02] of the main characters, but like I'm
[48:04] sure somebody that had a two episode arc
[48:06] as a quick villain or something could be
[48:09] recast in an unrelated.
[48:10] >> I mean, if Eko didn't come back as Mr.
[48:12] Terrific, like you know, what are we
[48:13] doing? What are we doing?
[48:14] >> Um, also Mike as ango, your uh the
[48:18] denomination has an R in front of it.
[48:20] Does that mean it's from Russia?
[48:24] >> Russia?
[48:25] >> I don't know. What?
[48:26] >> I guess Rhode Island.
[48:27] >> Rwanda. Well, they don't have their own
[48:29] currency in Rhode Island, right?
[48:30] >> They might. You don't know about that.
[48:32] We don't know what they hand out cohog
[48:34] shells.
[48:35] >> Nobody's ever been to Rhode Island, so
[48:36] it would be impossible to confirm.
[48:38] >> I think that in New Hampshire, like no
[48:39] one's ever Do you know anyone from New
[48:41] Hampshire?
[48:42] >> I I've been to New Hampshire many a
[48:44] time,
[48:45] >> but like that is unconfirmed.
[48:46] >> But did you see people there? Did you
[48:48] see people?
[48:48] >> No. Ghost town. Yeah.
[48:51] >> Uh, okay. So, again, the the Warner
[48:52] Brothers panel has started. Usually
[48:54] these panels kind of start with a lot of
[48:56] preamble. The people from the studio
[48:57] come out, maybe they talk about industry
[48:59] stuff. Is this Cineacon is a convention
[49:01] for theater operators and owners. So,
[49:03] the guy that owns the AMC or the Cineark
[49:06] or the Regal in your town or the
[49:09] regional manager or the head of
[49:10] marketing at those companies, all of
[49:12] those people are there. Much like you
[49:14] would go to an insurance salesman or a
[49:16] dentist convention or whatever, this is
[49:18] a convention for those people. It just
[49:20] happens to be that they are uh pitching
[49:22] these people on the biggest and best
[49:24] movies of the year. And occasionally
[49:27] some uh fine YouTubers are able to sneak
[49:29] in there and report out what is said.
[49:32] So, but they often start these panels
[49:34] with just a lot of like industry jargon.
[49:36] Yeah. um as they were trying to convince
[49:37] all these theater owners like hey carry
[49:39] our movies and also spend money on
[49:41] marketing and why don't you upgrade your
[49:43] upgrade your seats and your air
[49:44] conditioning and your screens and
[49:46] everything like that so that our two
[49:47] industries that need to work together uh
[49:49] can continue to do so
[49:53] >> true
[49:56] >> um okay uh Pam Abd and Mike Duke are
[49:59] coming out on stage according to Hannah
[50:01] Basso 1938
[50:03] um oh and there's the s oh just a
[50:05] membership chat, but still thank you
[50:07] Hannah Basso for being with us.
[50:08] >> Also, uh, shout out to Begzy1234
[50:11] became a YouTube member. Thank you for
[50:13] your service. Um,
[50:16] okay. Uh, yep. Brian just saluted you.
[50:19] It was off camera, but I I am sure you
[50:22] felt it in wherever you are.
[50:24] >> Um,
[50:26] okay. Uh, oh, and then Eric has added
[50:30] onto the tweet about Pat Oswald hosting.
[50:32] Uh, seriously, James Gun, take him up on
[50:34] this. It worked for Jason Mamoa and
[50:36] Lobo. It should work for Patent and Mr.
[50:39] Mix Pelix.
[50:39] >> Also, I don't know how many of you
[50:41] watched Patton's uh Modoc show that
[50:44] Stupid Buddy produced. Uh it was weird
[50:47] but great. It it was it was a delightful
[50:50] comedic romp through the world of super
[50:51] villainry, the likes of which we have
[50:53] not seen uh since Venture Brothers went
[50:56] off the air.
[50:56] >> Yeah. Well, so you know, Pen Oswald,
[50:59] that kind of energy could work in the
[51:00] Daily Planet newsroom. Yes. Right. Right
[51:02] beside Beck Bennett and He uh Hector
[51:06] Gazando and and uh all those all those
[51:08] folks. Yeah.
[51:09] >> We've got uh Mike Azenego saying he's
[51:12] from Brazil. Lol. The currency is called
[51:15] Rayal.
[51:16] >> Rayal.
[51:17] >> We'll believe it when we see it. Mike, I
[51:19] think you're from Rhode Island.
[51:21] >> Okay. What?
[51:22] >> Rhode Island. Often called the Brazil.
[51:24] >> Brazil of the Northeast. Yeah,
[51:26] >> shout out Brazil. Um, okay, great. Um,
[51:30] we could also while while we're here
[51:32] again, we're going to be streaming uh
[51:35] today and the next two days and we're
[51:36] going to be streaming till presumptively
[51:39] the end of this panel which we'll go a
[51:40] couple hours. We appreciate everybody
[51:42] that's watching now or that will be
[51:43] arriving. Um, tomorrow we've got the
[51:47] universal panel. Sorry, Brian. Is there
[51:49] a super chat we need to get to in the
[51:50] meantime? I was about to
[51:51] >> superhat interesting question.
[51:53] >> Oh, go kick it with the interesting
[51:54] question. Uh well Shri asks uh over
[51:58] under 20%. They announced whether Reeves
[52:01] Batman is DCU or not or will they even
[52:03] touch that?
[52:05] >> I think James Gunn has already been
[52:07] pretty clear about Batman occupying its
[52:10] own almost like an Elseorld's thing
[52:12] occupying its own corner of the DC
[52:14] universe and that it's not going to
[52:16] connect to Batman and the to Superman
[52:20] and the rest. The thing that's
[52:21] interesting to me is the trailer for
[52:24] Lanterns, which I recognize I am alone
[52:27] in being excited for.
[52:28] >> No, you're not alone. I'm super excited
[52:30] for
[52:30] >> Abby told me the youths are not into it
[52:32] cuz there's not enough green.
[52:33] >> That was a hot take from him.
[52:35] >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But dummies,
[52:37] >> but the lantern lanterns does introduce
[52:39] a tone that is definitely in
[52:41] conversation with the Superman movie. Um
[52:45] that may wind up being something that
[52:46] could be a a sort of bridge between the
[52:48] two. So, I I don't think Batman is going
[52:51] to be part of that broader DCU. I think
[52:53] it's going to exist in its own little
[52:55] bubble. I'm totally okay with that.
[52:56] >> When you say the Batman,
[52:58] >> the Batman,
[52:59] >> the Batman,
[52:59] >> there will be a different Batman that
[53:01] pops up.
[53:01] >> And and again, James Gunn has said that
[53:03] they have this Brave and the Bold movie
[53:05] in development. As far as we know,
[53:07] there's not an approved script. It
[53:08] hasn't been green lit or or slated or
[53:10] anything like that. Maybe that news
[53:12] comes out here. Uh so, they want to keep
[53:14] those universities separate. I think
[53:15] also because James Gun knows the the
[53:18] math and he's like a Matt Reeves takes a
[53:22] while to make movies. James Gun has said
[53:23] as much that he works good but he works
[53:25] slow. So he doesn't want to wait have to
[53:27] wait six years or whatever in between
[53:29] every Batman movie. Also James Gun maybe
[53:31] wants to have his own take on Batman.
[53:32] >> I'm sure he does.
[53:33] >> And and that could be the brave and the
[53:34] bold. It could be a very different take
[53:36] than the patent re. So I I'm okay with
[53:39] there being multiple parallel Batman
[53:42] movies, you know, like that doesn't that
[53:44] doesn't confuse me. That doesn't fade.
[53:46] >> We currently in between 2026 and 2027,
[53:49] we will have four different
[53:50] representations of Spider-Man,
[53:52] >> right? We will have Tom Holland, we will
[53:54] have a Spider-Verse, we will have Spider
[53:56] Noir, and we will have your friendly
[53:58] neighborhood Spider-Man. Oh, five.
[54:00] Because Spidey and Friends is one of the
[54:01] most popular kid shows in the universe.
[54:04] >> Is anybody complaining that there's too
[54:05] much Spider-Man? We can handle a couple
[54:08] Batman, especially if they were tonally
[54:10] and stylistically different.
[54:11] >> You know, like the only the only problem
[54:13] anyone's ever had with a Batman is not
[54:14] that there's too many, it's just that it
[54:15] sucks, you know, like like when when we
[54:18] got Affleck Batman, I think everybody
[54:20] was like, "Oh man, you know, like
[54:23] >> that that's a take that absolutely zero
[54:24] people have a problem with." Berg, uh
[54:26] because I'm pretty sure everybody agrees
[54:28] that the whole Snider thing is dead and
[54:30] done and uh was worthless, right?
[54:33] >> Uh we got another super chat coming in.
[54:35] Um, we've got Mikey. Cheers. Uh, season
[54:39] two, Kyle Rainer.
[54:42] >> What?
[54:42] >> Mikey, give me more. Give me more.
[54:44] >> I assume that is a Green Lantern
[54:46] character. And you were talking about a
[54:48] season two of Lanterns.
[54:51] >> Is that correct, Brian? Okay. I don't
[54:53] know. I'm I'm not I am I am super jazzed
[54:56] for the Lantern Show. I've not read many
[54:58] Lanterns comics, so I do not know the
[55:00] deep.
[55:00] >> Oh, and we've got a new uh tweet. Warner
[55:03] Brothers announces a new label,
[55:05] Clockwork, a new division for original
[55:07] films for global audience. The first
[55:09] film under this label, TMO, produced by
[55:11] Shaun Baker from uh Anora and of course
[55:14] Florida Project Tangerine, great many
[55:16] other things will release in 2027. I am
[55:19] a sucker for Shawn Baker. I have no idea
[55:22] what this movie is about. I don't care
[55:24] all.
[55:24] >> Well, and he's producing it, not writing
[55:26] or directing it. Interesting. a new
[55:28] division for original films for global
[55:30] audiences as opposed to Warner Brothers
[55:32] that probably makes more box office
[55:34] globally than they domestically. That's
[55:36] interesting. But I I wonder if this is
[55:38] like code for like foreign language
[55:39] films
[55:40] >> maybe. Or or specifically like, hey,
[55:42] we're going to try to target a Chinese
[55:43] audience, a Bollywood audience, you
[55:45] know, like a even if this is a movie
[55:48] that can be enjoyed by everybody, it is
[55:50] fundamentally being made with a
[55:52] different segment of the global
[55:54] population in mind.
[55:55] >> What was it called? TMO
[55:57] >> the the TM O
[55:58] >> oh Clockwork
[56:00] >> Clockwork
[56:00] >> Love right um yeah is the name of the
[56:02] studio yeah that'll be interesting what
[56:04] that what that means and of course like
[56:05] these big studios have like labels
[56:08] underneath them Fox has Fox Searchide
[56:10] and Disney has Touchstone and all these
[56:12] kinds of things that usually handle
[56:13] smaller movies or or different niches.
[56:15] So this is I guess a new niche they're
[56:17] covering. We've got a new super chat.
[56:20] >> We missed this update here.
[56:23] Oh. Uh, Duca says, uh, WB released 11
[56:28] films in 2025, plan to release 14 in
[56:31] 2026 and 18 in 2027.
[56:34] >> Hey, Duca, I'll believe it when I see
[56:37] it.
[56:37] >> Well, they are in charge.
[56:38] >> I don't know. I believe them.
[56:40] >> They're in charge. I think I think
[56:41] everybody's trying to like calm the
[56:43] Paramount jitters. I I I'm taking it.
[56:46] >> And they are right. Like one of the
[56:47] biggest complaints from the movie
[56:48] theaters has been a lack of product,
[56:50] right? They are not getting enough big
[56:52] movies from the studios to keep people
[56:54] coming back every week to movie
[56:56] theaters. That's why we have to we're
[56:58] re-releasing Speedraer in the coming
[57:00] weeks and like Jaws comes out every year
[57:02] or whatever. They they're they're doing
[57:04] that. People want to see those movies on
[57:05] the big screen, but also there's not
[57:07] enough new movies to fill all the
[57:09] screens, right? So, I think that is
[57:11] that's nice that they're saying they are
[57:12] ramping up production.
[57:13] >> I love that. It would be so good for the
[57:15] for the city. We got another super chat
[57:17] coming in per per Brian's hand. Yuka
[57:19] Pria Alan Richer Richson Reacher Richson
[57:23] Reacher my god has been interested in
[57:25] the role of Kyle Rener I presume. Yes,
[57:28] >> it seems like a followup to the to the
[57:30] last one.
[57:30] >> Or was that Batman?
[57:32] >> Um he was he was in talks for Batman. I
[57:35] know. But I don't think anything ever
[57:36] like conclusive happened with that. And
[57:38] then he beat up a guy on a motorcycle.
[57:40] >> Well, that guy did start.
[57:41] >> That guy did start. That guy but he
[57:43] finished it.
[57:44] >> Too big for Batman. # too big for
[57:46] Batman.
[57:46] >> TB TBFB. Maybe he looked good in the
[57:48] Batman costume, but like believable as
[57:50] Bruce Wayne. Wow, Bruce Wayne is 67 and
[57:53] 290 pounds.
[57:55] >> Yeah, we got another super chat coming
[57:57] in here. Uh Frederick Price 5407,
[58:00] executive producer Frederick Price,
[58:01] thanks so much for your support over the
[58:03] years. Uh $20 super chat. Hope to see
[58:05] you guys Friday in Hollywood. And I hope
[58:08] Dune and Avengers don't cannibalize each
[58:10] other on December 18th. As exciting as a
[58:12] cinematic showdown is, I hope somebody
[58:14] moves their date, even if Dune is
[58:16] already pre-sold IMAX.
[58:18] >> Okay, let's talk about it right now.
[58:19] Let's assume Dune's Day is happening.
[58:23] Both those movies are releasing the same
[58:24] day. Good or bad for humanity. Over
[58:29] under 20%.
[58:30] >> I think
[58:32] I think over good for humanity.
[58:35] >> Yes. Too much of a good thing.
[58:37] >> I I think you know what? I I totally
[58:39] hear the concern about cannibalization
[58:41] of audiences. I also think like the
[58:45] hardcore audiences will go see both.
[58:47] Both of those movies are going to make a
[58:48] crap ton of money. I love a weekend
[58:51] where I have so many movies to see that
[58:53] I have to choose. I I miss so dearly
[58:57] being at the Ark light, you know, pre-
[58:59] pandemic and being there for a midnight
[59:02] showing and having there be like four
[59:03] big blockbusters coming out the same
[59:05] night, running into friends in the lobby
[59:07] and be like, "What are you seeing? What
[59:08] are you seeing? I'm seeing Hunger Games.
[59:10] I'm seeing Harry Potter. I'm seeing
[59:11] Marvel." You know, like I I miss that
[59:14] energy. It It's really a nice thing to
[59:16] have in a theater. Um and I hope that we
[59:18] can get a lot more of this kind of
[59:20] crosspollination.
[59:21] >> Yeah.
[59:22] >> I don't know. I'm stressed about
[59:24] going to the theater that weekend.
[59:26] >> Oh, just like parking lots are going to
[59:28] be slammed.
[59:29] >> Just like every every theater is going
[59:31] to be full. I Well, maybe the Avengers
[59:33] ones. I feel like Dune is like for the
[59:35] people with like taste.
[59:37] >> No shade. No shade. I You know what I
[59:40] mean though? It's just like the like the
[59:42] locals will all see Avengers and the
[59:44] fans
[59:45] >> and me. I'm not You think Zach and I are
[59:47] going to be showing up with Monles and
[59:49] Cumberb? I bought the IMAX. It's nine
[59:52] months out.
[59:54] >> 70 mm IMAX.
[59:55] >> Yeah. Yeah. Go to nerd riot.shop. Get
[59:57] our get our formats t-shirt.
[59:59] >> I'm hoping.
[1:00:00] >> Yeah. Let me real quickly plug this
[1:00:02] shirt. So we ju literally this might be
[1:00:04] live as of five minutes ago.
[1:00:06] Nerdri.shop. We put together this
[1:00:08] formats. Uh it's called the aspect ratio
[1:00:10] shirt
[1:00:11] >> and it's kind of like that Ryan Cougler
[1:00:13] video that he made for sinners. This
[1:00:15] shows all of the relative sizes of
[1:00:17] different screens from IMAX, 70
[1:00:20] millimeter, regular IMAX, 70 millimeter
[1:00:23] standard, uh, Cinemascope, all of these
[1:00:27] just a nice minimalist design. Get that.
[1:00:30] Also, we got we got your Spider-Man's,
[1:00:34] uh, we got your Mandalorian and Grou.
[1:00:38] You can wear all these shirts at the
[1:00:39] same time.
[1:00:41] >> It's like Joey from Friends. Yeah, you
[1:00:42] could put on all of Chandler's clothes
[1:00:45] and do a bunch of deep knee lunges.
[1:00:47] >> Uh to get back to get back to the
[1:00:48] doomsday of it all. I I appreciate both
[1:00:51] your points. I think it's like
[1:00:54] >> people keep talking about it like Barb
[1:00:57] and it isn't like Barbenheimer. Those
[1:00:59] are two very different movies, the
[1:01:00] >> same audience,
[1:01:01] >> different audiences, different
[1:01:03] everything. These movies have a lot more
[1:01:04] overlap. They're both, you know, similar
[1:01:07] genres kind of sci-fi superhero. Um, but
[1:01:10] again, like as somebody who's in the
[1:01:12] Target demo and is super excited for
[1:01:14] both those movies, I mean, I'm just
[1:01:16] going to have to carve out time that
[1:01:17] weekend to see both. Also, people have
[1:01:19] pointed out Barbinheimer was in the
[1:01:21] summer, which is also a time people have
[1:01:22] vacations and time off, but like these
[1:01:25] movies coming out around Christmas when
[1:01:26] for movie theaters every day is a
[1:01:28] Saturday. Yeah. Right. And like you can
[1:01:30] go see this, you'll be off school or out
[1:01:32] of work or whatever on the 22nd, on the
[1:01:34] 23rd, on the 24th, on the whatever.
[1:01:36] Right. Like people will be seeing this
[1:01:37] over the three weeks after. Um, and I
[1:01:40] think like these movies are both big
[1:01:41] enough and hopefully will be good enough
[1:01:43] that like yeah, everybody will just find
[1:01:44] time to see it. And like who cares if
[1:01:46] it's they if each of them moved one week
[1:01:48] in any direction. I don't know if that
[1:01:49] makes a big difference. I
[1:01:50] >> I mean I saw a Dune part two in theaters
[1:01:52] twice. That's to me that's the same as
[1:01:55] going to see one and then and then a
[1:01:57] Doomsday. Oh, we got another super chat.
[1:01:59] I'm seeing Brian's hand raised back
[1:02:00] there. Marvel Pirate $5. Thank you for
[1:02:03] your donation, Marvel Pirate. This is a
[1:02:05] creepy. Can you see
[1:02:07] >> this creepy little icon?
[1:02:09] >> Scary face.
[1:02:10] >> Terrifying. Marvel pirate. What's going
[1:02:12] on there? Uh, we got another We got
[1:02:14] another one coming up here.
[1:02:15] >> Uh, would you rather Mikey Cheers? $2
[1:02:18] donation. Would you rather Johnny Quest
[1:02:20] or Mighty Max live action?
[1:02:23] >> Uh,
[1:02:24] >> oh, I was a Johnny Quest kid for sure.
[1:02:26] >> Fair. I'm I'm not that familiar with
[1:02:27] either of those franch.
[1:02:31] >> No, I think Mighty Max was a tiny guy,
[1:02:33] right? Yeah, that's
[1:02:34] >> Mikey Mouse, which is
[1:02:36] >> like like Thumbelina meets G.I. Joe. Is
[1:02:38] that Is that accurate or um uh Mikey?
[1:02:40] Cheers. I I love your wavelength. You're
[1:02:42] asking about relatively obscure Green
[1:02:44] Lantern characters. You're bringing up
[1:02:46] Mighty Max live action. Um you're
[1:02:49] playing by your own rules.
[1:02:50] >> Is he the Averse one?
[1:02:51] >> Yeah, you might have been might have
[1:02:52] been bringing up Arowverse stuff
[1:02:54] repeatedly. Um more power to you. Uh we
[1:02:57] got some more super chats coming
[1:02:59] through. Uh Porcelain Tank, that's a
[1:03:01] name right there. Yeah. Yeah. Uh, I
[1:03:04] really wanted Patson as the DCU Batman
[1:03:06] till I found out that Paul Anthony
[1:03:08] Kelly, JFK Jr. and Love Story existed.
[1:03:11] >> That's a good one.
[1:03:12] >> So, you're saying, have you been
[1:03:13] watching the Love Story? Okay.
[1:03:15] >> Does he play JFK Jr. or Carolyn bet?
[1:03:19] >> JFK Jr.
[1:03:20] >> I can't read.
[1:03:21] >> Porcelain Tang said that. Um, he's good.
[1:03:24] Um, I don't know how I feel about Patson
[1:03:28] not being I'm okay with him over there.
[1:03:31] >> Yeah. Well, how do you feel about about
[1:03:32] Paul Anthony Kelly if he was like the
[1:03:34] main DCU Batman like James Gun?
[1:03:36] >> I would have to I'm still confused on
[1:03:39] what kind of Batman James Gunn is gonna
[1:03:41] do.
[1:03:42] >> And and I will say James Gunn over his
[1:03:44] career has shown a preference for maybe
[1:03:47] plucking actors that are lesser known,
[1:03:51] smaller names, maybe have been doing
[1:03:53] more TV work or haven't been the stars
[1:03:55] of big franchises. So, like, might make
[1:03:58] sense to pull somebody from a popular TV
[1:04:00] series that hasn't done a bunch of big
[1:04:02] movies. Uh,
[1:04:03] >> oh, we've got a Clayface update.
[1:04:06] >> Okay.
[1:04:06] >> Clayface footage appears in the opening
[1:04:08] Warner Brothers montage. There's a red
[1:04:10] title card in one shot. Tom Ree Harry's
[1:04:12] as actor at actor Matt Hagen. Clayface
[1:04:16] smiling on a red carpet. A fuller
[1:04:17] trailer is likely coming soon.
[1:04:20] >> I like the concept of Eric putting the
[1:04:23] eye emoji in. You know, it's so funny
[1:04:26] because as an elder millennial, I
[1:04:28] finding an emoji always takes so long. I
[1:04:30] just get frustrated and hit send without
[1:04:32] it. I can't do it unless I'm texting
[1:04:33] with my daughter, in which case I have
[1:04:35] to do it.
[1:04:36] >> I I do like that we're seeing like in
[1:04:39] universe the Matt Hagen character on a
[1:04:42] red carpet, right? Kind of confirming
[1:04:44] he's playing an actor, right? Like maybe
[1:04:45] an actor who's he's found some success.
[1:04:48] >> That's interesting. Um yeah, we got
[1:04:50] another super chat coming in.
[1:04:53] Uh, oh, our Brazilian friend,
[1:04:56] >> our Brazilian buddy Mike Azenego.
[1:04:57] >> Uh, yesterday someone asked about Two
[1:04:59] Gun Kid. Do you think there will ever be
[1:05:01] a good Jonah Hex movie or any other
[1:05:04] superhero western well-made?
[1:05:07] >> When does a good Jonah Hex movie exists?
[1:05:09] I don't know what they're talking about.
[1:05:11] >> Well, oh, so you're you're you're
[1:05:12] standing for the Josh Berlin Jenna Hex.
[1:05:15] >> I I think
[1:05:16] >> and we were talking about people with
[1:05:18] good taste two. I I would say Logan is
[1:05:21] not explicitly a western, but has very
[1:05:24] western themes. Uh, you know, um I I
[1:05:28] think that we will get a good superhero
[1:05:30] western movie made. The the western I
[1:05:32] want to see, and maybe this falls into
[1:05:33] the superhero thing, is there's an album
[1:05:35] called Death Western by a band called
[1:05:37] Spirit World that is a heavy metal
[1:05:39] exploration of some kind of demon
[1:05:42] exploding in the West. Make that movie.
[1:05:44] That's the movie I want to see. That's
[1:05:46] the movie I want to see. Not really a
[1:05:47] comic book, but
[1:05:48] >> No, it's
[1:05:50] my point.
[1:05:50] >> Concept album. Okay.
[1:05:51] >> Um Okay, Brian, we got another super
[1:05:53] chat coming in. Uh BJ Wilfries, $5 over
[1:05:56] under 20%. Do you think this Thursday uh
[1:05:59] Disney panel they will do another chair
[1:06:01] reveal for Doomsday? Oh, that's a great
[1:06:04] question. I mean, if if Eric and Jessica
[1:06:06] walk into that conference hall on
[1:06:08] Thursday and there's a whole [Β __Β ] ton of
[1:06:09] chairs set up on stage and just one by
[1:06:11] one Kevin Feige flips them around
[1:06:15] >> or or how about they got the same 54 or
[1:06:19] whatever, however many chairs there were
[1:06:21] laid out and each actor comes out in the
[1:06:25] chair. I mean, what a flex. Uh, I like
[1:06:29] that over under. I think like chairs
[1:06:31] might get incorporated. I I you know
[1:06:33] without getting too specific about it I
[1:06:35] like
[1:06:35] >> there will be chairs in the room. We
[1:06:37] could guarantee that on over
[1:06:39] >> Doomsday should embrace the chairs more.
[1:06:42] I feel like they did that and it was
[1:06:44] iconic and then they dropped it.
[1:06:47] >> Well, I mean there's still time.
[1:06:48] >> No, I know. But it's like they could
[1:06:50] have done that with like Chris Evans
[1:06:52] officially in it. Yeah.
[1:06:53] >> Like that would have been fun
[1:06:55] >> if they had just had instead of their
[1:06:56] countdown clock a YouTube thing that was
[1:06:58] just a a chair that has was yet to be
[1:07:01] flipped around. Yeah,
[1:07:02] >> people would be watching that. Um, okay,
[1:07:04] we got another uh super chat here. Uh,
[1:07:07] Supberg from Marvel Pirate. Sup, Marvel
[1:07:10] Pirate. You get it, my dude.
[1:07:11] >> Just wanted to show you his creepy
[1:07:14] avatar face again.
[1:07:16] >> Another $2. It was a project from AP
[1:07:18] Ceramics. Well, sir, I hope that you got
[1:07:21] college credit for that uh creepy doll.
[1:07:23] You
[1:07:23] >> They're offering advanced placement
[1:07:25] ceramics now.
[1:07:26] >> Yeah, look at the project. Clearly
[1:07:28] deserved. Much deserved.
[1:07:30] >> Wow. Looks like something out of like a
[1:07:32] nightmare James Juan.
[1:07:33] >> I mean, why was I busy taking like
[1:07:35] algebra and like English and [Β __Β ] like
[1:07:37] that in high school? I would have just
[1:07:39] been taking AP ceramics. Damn.
[1:07:41] >> Uh, more super chats coming through the
[1:07:43] pipeline. Thank you everybody.
[1:07:45] >> Mafip nine. Mafi P I over under 20%.
[1:07:50] Thank you for adhering to the template.
[1:07:52] Uh, we get an Elseworld title announced
[1:07:54] and if you could pitch one to Gun, what
[1:07:56] would it be? I like where your head's
[1:07:58] at.
[1:07:58] >> Superman Red Sun. That's the else world
[1:08:00] I want. Superman Red Son, you get Batman
[1:08:02] and the little hat with the flaps.
[1:08:04] That's the best one. Absolutely.
[1:08:05] >> Okay. I I wonder if maybe that's the
[1:08:08] Batman route rather than sparking
[1:08:11] confusion about like we've got I guess
[1:08:13] like the Batman is already kind of an
[1:08:15] Elseorld. Yeah.
[1:08:16] >> But like what if you did like Wild West
[1:08:18] Batman
[1:08:20] >> or something like that?
[1:08:21] >> I'd love that.
[1:08:22] >> You know,
[1:08:23] >> kind of like uh what was the show with
[1:08:25] um Bruce Campbell at Adventures of
[1:08:27] Brisco County Jr. where we always had a
[1:08:29] bunch of gadgets that with Batman that's
[1:08:30] that goes him and John Aston
[1:08:32] >> maybe maybe that's how James Gun tackles
[1:08:34] Joker we already have a rich history of
[1:08:37] elsewhere Jokers
[1:08:40] >> maybe
[1:08:41] >> absolute Batman we're getting some
[1:08:42] pictures
[1:08:43] >> but I like I like where your head's at
[1:08:44] if that could be the next project
[1:08:46] because again we we don't know what is
[1:08:48] coming for DC after Man of Tomorrow next
[1:08:50] year they might even have another movie
[1:08:52] next year we we don't know yet so like
[1:08:54] if we got some kind of announcement like
[1:08:56] that that would be really Cool.
[1:08:58] >> To me, the Elseworld thing has always
[1:09:01] felt like he's like planning on doing
[1:09:04] it. But that's just mostly so that he
[1:09:06] can like people can do Batman 2 and not
[1:09:09] throw a fit.
[1:09:10] >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But also that's great,
[1:09:12] you know, like I I think I think the
[1:09:13] Elseorld's approach is something that
[1:09:15] Marvel kind of dipped a toe into with uh
[1:09:19] What If? Uh, you know, and then like
[1:09:22] sort of like What If wound up becoming
[1:09:24] like too kind of convoluted over the
[1:09:26] course of three seasons instead of just
[1:09:27] like spin-off things, but Marvel Zombies
[1:09:29] and X-Men 97 I think are great example
[1:09:31] of Marvel Elseorld properties, you know,
[1:09:34] that are just Elseorlds by different
[1:09:36] names. Yeah, I think they could do more
[1:09:38] of that. You know, like Daredevil Born
[1:09:39] Again is maybe kind of becoming that.
[1:09:41] It's not super connected to everything
[1:09:43] else.
[1:09:44] >> You know, maybe DC uses animation
[1:09:46] >> to kind of satisfy that too. If this
[1:09:49] dynamic duo animated film is still going
[1:09:51] to happen, maybe that is an Elseorld
[1:09:53] that does not, you know, coincide with
[1:09:56] the Corn Sweat DCU. Um I I like that
[1:10:00] potential. Um okay, still no Tom Cruz on
[1:10:03] stage. You think his parachute is
[1:10:05] >> worlds movie? Averse.
[1:10:09] already exists.
[1:10:10] >> No, but like make it a movie. Like the
[1:10:13] cross like the crisis on infinite earths
[1:10:16] again, but a movie.
[1:10:17] >> I know at least one ticket buyer that is
[1:10:20] ready.
[1:10:20] >> Yeah.
[1:10:20] >> Yes.
[1:10:21] >> I'm not even making fun of the
[1:10:22] arrowverse person in the chat. I'm
[1:10:25] serious.
[1:10:26] >> Okay,
[1:10:26] >> I know you're serious.
[1:10:27] >> We got another super chat coming in.
[1:10:29] Brian
[1:10:30] >> um Jared LT78 over under. Thank you for
[1:10:35] your adherence to the format. Do you
[1:10:37] think on Thursday's MGM uh show we get a
[1:10:41] trailer or stills of Voltron?
[1:10:45] >> I mean, that would that would drive a a
[1:10:48] certain age of nerd
[1:10:52] would go gaga for that. I mean, for
[1:10:54] because for those of us who are like I'm
[1:10:56] just a little too young to remember
[1:10:58] Voltron fully, but like I know it
[1:10:59] inspired
[1:11:01] uh Transformers and Power Rangers
[1:11:03] >> and there's been is it Voltron Voltron
[1:11:06] Rising? What is the animated series?
[1:11:07] Yeah, Voltron Rising. It's been on
[1:11:09] Netflix, I believe, over the last couple
[1:11:11] years.
[1:11:12] >> That's Voltron,
[1:11:12] >> I guess. Is there is there a live action
[1:11:14] Voltron?
[1:11:15] >> I've not heard about it, but that
[1:11:16] doesn't mean it's not happening.
[1:11:17] >> Um,
[1:11:18] >> we got another super chat coming in. Uh,
[1:11:22] [Β __Β ] Mary Kill. Papa Smurf Snap of the
[1:11:25] Rice Krispies. But Buddy, I'm presuming
[1:11:28] Buddy the Elf from
[1:11:31] >> No, that's there's like a serial one.
[1:11:33] >> There's a serial Buddy. I'm like pretty
[1:11:35] sure from like
[1:11:36] >> But Papa Smurf's not a serial guy.
[1:11:38] >> He's like on um Isn't there like a
[1:11:43] >> another one? No coming out.
[1:11:45] >> Oh, is it just elves?
[1:11:46] >> I'm I'm going to say this.
[1:11:47] >> Oh, are these three elves?
[1:11:48] >> I'm going to say this. If if Buddy is in
[1:11:50] there, you got to marry Buddy. He's just
[1:11:53] He's just too much fun.
[1:11:55] >> Will Frell?
[1:11:55] >> Yeah. I I think you [Β __Β ] Snap cuz he's
[1:11:58] going to be like a lot of trouble. Like,
[1:12:00] you know, like fun for a little bit, but
[1:12:02] you don't want to like tie your life to
[1:12:03] him. You kill Papa Smurf. He's just
[1:12:06] going to be all rules. He's like the
[1:12:08] patriarch of a society. There's too much
[1:12:10] baggage there. That's my That's my
[1:12:11] That's my [Β __Β ] kill.
[1:12:13] >> I mean, there's only one correct answer
[1:12:15] here. First off, Buddy is the only
[1:12:17] humanoid in this group. Okay. Who's also
[1:12:20] not animated and is human size? Okay.
[1:12:23] How do you have sex with something this
[1:12:25] big? All right.
[1:12:26] >> I'm just saying.
[1:12:27] >> So, you have sex with Buddy. Obvious.
[1:12:30] Um, I would kill Snap only because he's
[1:12:32] not a fully formed character. He doesn't
[1:12:34] have like multiple seasons of like
[1:12:35] storyline and arcs and stuff like that.
[1:12:37] So, it's like I wouldn't feel as bad.
[1:12:39] And then I marry Papa Smurf, who, you
[1:12:41] know, could take good care of me
[1:12:42] probably.
[1:12:43] >> Well, we know Buddy has sex cuz he has a
[1:12:45] baby.
[1:12:46] >> That's right.
[1:12:47] >> Yeah.
[1:12:48] >> So, just saying.
[1:12:49] >> Canon. It's Canon.
[1:12:50] >> I think you could build a life with
[1:12:51] Buddy.
[1:12:51] >> It's Canon that Buddy F buddy [Β __Β ]
[1:12:53] >> Buddy [Β __Β ]
[1:12:54] >> Buddy [Β __Β ]
[1:12:55] >> The spirit of Christmas.
[1:12:56] >> By Woodchuck. Buddy [Β __Β ]
[1:12:58] >> Okay, we got another. Does he know
[1:13:00] coming in?
[1:13:00] >> Uh Sarah Hatchory and $5 super chat. I
[1:13:03] think we need to discuss the photos of
[1:13:04] the dog playing Airbud in the 2026 movie
[1:13:08] being uh shown at Cineacon. The pics are
[1:13:10] so cute.
[1:13:11] >> I would love to see them.
[1:13:12] >> We'll see if we can pull them up. I will
[1:13:13] say I did watch John Oliver's multiple
[1:13:15] segments on this new uh Airbud movie. It
[1:13:18] seems like it might be a money
[1:13:21] laundering scheme or something like
[1:13:23] that. Uh but I bet the dog is adorable.
[1:13:26] There's two Airbuds. Why is it a money
[1:13:28] laundering?
[1:13:29] >> Cuz they announced the movie before they
[1:13:31] had the dog cast and then after they
[1:13:33] cast the dog, they asked to help raise
[1:13:35] money. Yeah. Look at this air bud.
[1:13:36] That's a good boy. Oh, he's got the
[1:13:38] sneakers on. That's pretty cute.
[1:13:40] >> Okay. He looks cute.
[1:13:41] >> Which one? What?
[1:13:42] >> One of the two.
[1:13:42] >> You know, one of the two.
[1:13:43] >> Our theaters used to be filled with
[1:13:47] movies starring animals.
[1:13:48] >> Yes.
[1:13:49] >> Okay. Your Homeward Bounds, your
[1:13:51] Airbuds,
[1:13:52] >> any which way but loose,
[1:13:53] >> your Dunston checks in. I mean,
[1:13:55] >> the hotel for dogs. Hotel for dogs. Snow
[1:13:57] dogs. Real non CGI animals used
[1:14:01] Marmaduke used to be stars in this
[1:14:04] country.
[1:14:04] >> Hotel for dogs has one of the best Don
[1:14:06] Cheeto monologues he's given in his
[1:14:07] whole career.
[1:14:08] >> Beverly was Beverly Hills Chihuahua one.
[1:14:11] >> Theatrical.
[1:14:12] >> That was theatrical. That was
[1:14:13] theatrical.
[1:14:14] >> Yes. When was the when was the last non
[1:14:16] CGI?
[1:14:16] >> Oh, we got uh uh New Rockstars tweet.
[1:14:19] Godzilla X Kong Supernova will be the
[1:14:22] next film in the Godzilla Kong franchise
[1:14:24] at Warner Brothers coming in 2027.
[1:14:27] >> Yep.
[1:14:28] >> Um and this is in canon with Monarch
[1:14:30] that's happening on Apple TV
[1:14:32] >> and all the Godzilla Kong uh films that
[1:14:34] have come before not Godzillaus one or
[1:14:37] minus Z which are happening concurrently
[1:14:40] the Japanese produced films. These are
[1:14:41] the American produced ones. Yes, we got
[1:14:43] another super chat coming through.
[1:14:46] >> Imagine Barbie movie too. Imagine would
[1:14:49] love to be great.
[1:14:51] >> No complaints.
[1:14:52] >> Uh you know what we will not be seeing
[1:14:54] at Cineacon is anything about Greta
[1:14:57] Gerwig's Narnia movie.
[1:14:59] >> Yes, it will theatrical release, but
[1:15:01] it's a Netflix thing.
[1:15:02] >> It is being made by Netflix. It will be
[1:15:03] released for limited I think two weeks
[1:15:05] in IMAX theaters only in IMAX theaters.
[1:15:09] Um and then it will be on Netflix. But
[1:15:11] because Netflix doesn't do theatrical
[1:15:13] releases, they do not have a presence at
[1:15:15] >> now. Hang on. I'm seeing a Man of
[1:15:17] Tomorrow tweet we missed. Uh, James Gun,
[1:15:19] Nicholas Hol, and David Corinswe appear
[1:15:21] in a video montage to plug 2027's Man of
[1:15:23] Tomorrow. Nicholas Hol saying, "Man of
[1:15:25] Tomorrow continues the Superman saga
[1:15:27] with a new villain and an unlikely
[1:15:30] alliance."
[1:15:31] >> Is it that unlikely though
[1:15:33] >> that Lex and Superman would join up?
[1:15:36] That feels pretty unlikely based on the
[1:15:38] events of the first.
[1:15:39] >> It's not unlikely in the sense of like
[1:15:40] that's we already know that's the vibe.
[1:15:42] >> Yes. Oh, well, like from the
[1:15:44] announcement and the posters and stuff.
[1:15:46] Yes. But I think it's unlikely in the
[1:15:47] sense of like he watched this man
[1:15:50] execute a hot dog vendor in front of him
[1:15:52] and now they're going to join up, you
[1:15:54] know? But I guess it's it's not a
[1:15:56] dissimilar arc from Thor and Loki,
[1:15:59] >> you know what I mean? Who like the
[1:16:01] events of Avengers, right? How could you
[1:16:03] ever reconcile with this man?
[1:16:05] >> And all of a sudden, here you are in
[1:16:06] Dark World busting him out of jail.
[1:16:08] >> That's right. Uh, more super chats
[1:16:10] coming through, Brian.
[1:16:11] >> Oh, a news. Oh, new tweet tweet. Oh,
[1:16:13] Lord of the Rings, the hunt for Gollum
[1:16:15] shows a brief preview scene at Cineacon
[1:16:17] using footage of Gollum from the
[1:16:19] Fellowship prologue and new audio from
[1:16:21] Andy Circus as Gollum whispering to the
[1:16:23] one ring. It is a tale that must never
[1:16:26] be told. Coming December 2027.
[1:16:28] >> Well, if it's a tale that must never be
[1:16:30] told, don't make it.
[1:16:31] >> You probably shouldn't watch it. Yeah.
[1:16:33] Seems bad.
[1:16:34] >> That seems problematic.
[1:16:35] >> Yeah,
[1:16:36] >> we were we were just talking earlier
[1:16:37] today. Um, it's been a few years since
[1:16:40] the live action Hobbit films. Uh, which,
[1:16:44] you know, I think they're kind of little
[1:16:45] loved, but those movies made so much
[1:16:48] money.
[1:16:49] >> Each of them made like a billion
[1:16:50] dollars.
[1:16:51] >> And so, it makes sense. It's kind of
[1:16:52] wild that we've gone this long without
[1:16:54] more live action uh Lord of the Rings
[1:16:56] stuff. Obviously, there is the Rings of
[1:16:58] Power uh on streaming, but um yeah, and
[1:17:01] I think interesting to kind of pass the
[1:17:03] torch to let Indie Circus direct this
[1:17:06] film uh in addition to doing mocap for
[1:17:08] Gollum. Uh we got another super chat
[1:17:10] coming through. Um Scarlet Hec saying,
[1:17:14] "Any crazy theories on future plot lines
[1:17:17] of DCU?"
[1:17:20] >> I mean, who am I to try to outguess
[1:17:23] James Gunn? Oh, we got another tweet
[1:17:26] here. Uh Tom Cruz and Alejandra Anditu
[1:17:28] get a standing ovation at Cineacon as
[1:17:30] they introduce their 2026 movie Digger.
[1:17:33] >> The movie is not even out yet and
[1:17:35] they're getting standing ovations.
[1:17:36] >> Well, Tom Cruz saved theaters and that's
[1:17:38] that's a mild hyperbole, but it's also
[1:17:40] kind of true. His insistence on Top Gun
[1:17:43] Maverick going to theaters and not going
[1:17:45] to streaming was huge coming out of the
[1:17:47] pandemic. Obviously, he's been a giant
[1:17:49] theatrical movie star, never done TV or
[1:17:53] streaming. Is that true? True. Never.
[1:17:57] >> And there's not a lot of people you can
[1:18:00] say that about in uh the year of our
[1:18:02] lord 2026. My god. Um to go back to
[1:18:04] Scarlett Hex. I don't have any crazy
[1:18:06] theories right now.
[1:18:08] >> I mean, you know, it's like I would love
[1:18:10] to see something like Kingdom Come, you
[1:18:12] know, just cuz that's like such a good
[1:18:14] it's such a good story and such a good
[1:18:16] book. But I don't know if that counts as
[1:18:18] a crazy theory cuz it's like a
[1:18:20] well-known kind of like sad but like you
[1:18:24] know like a little bit of a downbeat
[1:18:26] everybody coming together for something.
[1:18:28] Um but that would be that would be my
[1:18:30] crazy thing. We got a hand up from Brian
[1:18:33] uh Jared LT Jared Leto78 $5 super chat.
[1:18:37] Thank you Jared Leto for tuning in.
[1:18:38] We're going to roast you during MorbiiUs
[1:18:40] on Friday at UCB. Buy your tickets with
[1:18:42] the link in the chat.
[1:18:42] >> It's all love.
[1:18:43] >> Henry Caval and Sterling K. Brown are
[1:18:46] both in liveaction Voltron movie,
[1:18:48] presumably playing one fist and one foot
[1:18:51] each.
[1:18:54] >> We cast you as right thigh.
[1:18:56] >> I love Sterling K. Brown, uh, super
[1:18:59] talented actor. You know, Henry Caval
[1:19:01] has interesting taste in projects.
[1:19:03] >> He I think he's very charming. I think
[1:19:05] he's problematic in his life offcreen.
[1:19:08] >> Well, difficult to reconcile the two.
[1:19:10] you're uh the world's biggest Inola
[1:19:12] Holmes fan
[1:19:14] >> and I know you are on Pins and Needles
[1:19:15] for this Warhammer film that he's been
[1:19:18] working on for quite a while. So, um
[1:19:20] yeah, interesting. He's also done a lot
[1:19:23] with MGM Amazon, which makes sense. I
[1:19:26] believe that's who's producing the
[1:19:27] Highlander film. Uh he is playing the
[1:19:30] Highlander. Uh that reboot that is
[1:19:32] coming out next year, I believe, as
[1:19:34] well. So, it kind of makes sense that
[1:19:35] they would get him in there. We got more
[1:19:37] super chats in the pipe. Uh, Elijah
[1:19:39] Pericone, all this over under 20% is
[1:19:42] taking me back to the tiny forehead
[1:19:44] kisses and our joke.
[1:19:45] >> I mean, Kingpin's back in the zeitgeist
[1:19:47] now. We can bring it back. How many tiny
[1:19:49] kisses do we think Kingpin is going to
[1:19:51] give out to Daredevil and and Bullseye
[1:19:53] before the end of season two?
[1:19:56] >> Did we get a tiny kiss on Vanessa's
[1:19:58] forehead in the last episode?
[1:19:59] >> Uh, I bet I bet there is a tiny kiss. I
[1:20:02] I wasn't paying attention.
[1:20:05] >> Speaking of Daredevil, which is not a
[1:20:07] theatrical release, they were not going
[1:20:08] to be talking about it in cinema. Uh but
[1:20:11] the Daredevil episode five
[1:20:14] >> airs tonight
[1:20:15] >> and our breakdown will be getting
[1:20:17] uploaded uh immediately after tonight.
[1:20:20] Eric Voss uh has figured out the ways to
[1:20:23] bend space and time. And though he is in
[1:20:25] Las Vegas watching this panel, he is
[1:20:28] also making a Daredevil Born Dead
[1:20:30] episode 5 breakdown that will be
[1:20:32] uploaded at the same time all the other
[1:20:34] ones have been uploaded.
[1:20:35] >> Um,
[1:20:36] >> so when you're done here, watch
[1:20:38] >> Go watch Go watch Daredevil
[1:20:40] >> episode five breakdown.
[1:20:41] >> Yes.
[1:20:41] >> Uh, Aeronda Alejandro Initu saying he
[1:20:44] shot Digger in Vista Vision.
[1:20:47] >> Where's that on your fancy shirt? I
[1:20:49] don't we actually debated whether we
[1:20:51] should include Vista Vision and I told
[1:20:53] the designers don't do that. It was just
[1:20:55] a silly gimmick that Paul Thomas
[1:20:56] Anderson did uh for one battle after
[1:20:58] another. Nobody else is ever going to
[1:21:00] use Vista Vision.
[1:21:00] >> So funny.
[1:21:01] >> Wow.
[1:21:02] >> The story behind Vista Vision is
[1:21:03] fascinating. So um it is a an anarchctic
[1:21:07] kind or archaic uh film format that they
[1:21:11] used in like the 60s.
[1:21:12] >> It was part of the Curama was Vista
[1:21:14] Vision, right? that was in Vista and
[1:21:15] like there was only a couple screens
[1:21:18] ever designed for Vista Vision and a
[1:21:20] couple cameras. Paul Thomas Anderson
[1:21:22] because he's this like lover of film
[1:21:23] history. He wanted to shoot it in this
[1:21:25] format. They had to like no new Vista
[1:21:27] Vision cameras have been made in like 40
[1:21:29] years. They had to go find the old
[1:21:31] cameras and like tune them up to be able
[1:21:34] to shoot that movie. So somehow maybe
[1:21:36] Inaritu got his hands on those after
[1:21:37] Paul Thomas
[1:21:39] >> like I give the camera to you.
[1:21:41] >> Yeah. Got more super chats coming
[1:21:43] through.
[1:21:45] Uh just announced Godzilla Minus at
[1:21:48] Paramount. Yes, that actually um
[1:21:50] >> the trailer came out.
[1:21:51] >> Trailer came out before we started
[1:21:53] streaming. Yeah, Godzilla minus Zero,
[1:21:55] which we were talking about the logic of
[1:21:56] the naming conventions here.
[1:21:58] >> First movie Godzillaus one makes sense.
[1:22:00] >> Great.
[1:22:01] >> Then you go, you have to add a number.
[1:22:04] So you go to Godzilla minus 0. But minus
[1:22:07] 0 is kind of unnecessary, right?
[1:22:10] Shouldn't it just be Godzilla Zero?
[1:22:11] >> We've got more uh Digger news. Seems
[1:22:13] like they're really focusing a lot on
[1:22:15] Digger, which goes to the WB doing a new
[1:22:18] new properties uh trip. Alejandro
[1:22:21] Eneritu says he started thinking about
[1:22:23] the idea of Digger in 2017 and then
[1:22:26] began talking to Tom Cruz in 2019 while
[1:22:28] Cruz was shooting Top Gun Maverick.
[1:22:29] Eneritu calls Cruz's character Digger
[1:22:31] Rockwell fearless. This role could be
[1:22:34] the most challenging for Cruz, and Cruz
[1:22:36] called it a highwire act, even for a
[1:22:39] stuntforward actor like him. Is this
[1:22:42] going to be the Tom Cruz snuff film he
[1:22:45] is determined to make?
[1:22:47] >> Well, they've already filmed it and he
[1:22:49] didn't die. So,
[1:22:50] >> yeah. Yeah. So, I guess not. Yeah, it's
[1:22:51] there.
[1:22:52] >> Or or is this the Tom Cruz Oscar
[1:22:54] project? Right. Tom Cruz has been given
[1:22:56] an honorary Oscar. Uh he has never won
[1:22:58] an an acting Oscar. Uh, Inoritu got Leo
[1:23:04] his long delayed first Oscar for the
[1:23:06] Revenant. Um, he didn't, uh, Michael
[1:23:08] King got nominated for Birdman, didn't
[1:23:11] end up winning. Uh, Into has done those
[1:23:14] movies in addition to Babel. Um, most
[1:23:17] recently he did Bardo, a Netflix movie
[1:23:20] nobody watched.
[1:23:21] >> Birdman was was also right before
[1:23:22] Revenant, right? Didn't Birdman and
[1:23:24] Revenant come out one year after the
[1:23:25] other?
[1:23:25] >> Yes, they did. 2014, 2015. Good call.
[1:23:28] Uh, so really talented director. This is
[1:23:29] different. Uh Tom Cruz has not made a
[1:23:32] non Top Gun non-m mission Impossible
[1:23:35] movie in quite a while.
[1:23:37] >> Yeah.
[1:23:37] >> Yeah.
[1:23:38] >> Um so this is
[1:23:40] >> good.
[1:23:40] >> Interesting.
[1:23:40] >> I'm going to make a movie right now
[1:23:42] called Berg Runs to the restroom as fast
[1:23:44] as he can and comes back without missing
[1:23:46] news. I shall return. Yes. Good luck.
[1:23:48] >> I shall return in the sequel Berg Makes
[1:23:50] it back from the restroom.
[1:23:52] >> The last the last non-m mission
[1:23:53] Impossible Top Gun movie that Tom Cruz
[1:23:55] made was in 2017 American Made. right
[1:23:58] before the same year he made The Mummy.
[1:24:01] Uh ironic that next week we're getting a
[1:24:03] new Mummy movie that won't be starring
[1:24:04] Tom Cruz
[1:24:05] >> and has not came with that one. We'll
[1:24:07] get Lee Cronin's The Mummy. Uh also next
[1:24:09] year I think we're getting Rachel Weiss
[1:24:11] and um
[1:24:12] >> Yes.
[1:24:13] >> and
[1:24:13] >> Mummy 4.
[1:24:14] >> Yeah. And Brandon Frasier coming back
[1:24:17] for that franchise. Unrelated to Lee
[1:24:19] Cronin's Mummy. Anybody can make a movie
[1:24:21] and call it The Mummy. Yeah, we got more
[1:24:23] super chats coming through. Uh, Colton
[1:24:26] Nielsen
[1:24:28] living for Aby's energy. Restore the
[1:24:30] Aeroverse.
[1:24:32] >> You've you've carved out a niche fandom
[1:24:34] there Abby but
[1:24:35] >> we exist. You can't silence us.
[1:24:39] >> Uh, okay. We got some more super chats.
[1:24:41] Thank you all. Uh, Marvel Pirate, our
[1:24:43] our ceramics friend, what allows studios
[1:24:46] to release IMAX tickets early? Do we
[1:24:48] think that Dune released IMAX tickets
[1:24:51] before this on purpose? Yes. So famously
[1:24:55] last year the iMac 70 millimeter tickets
[1:24:59] for Christopher Nolan's the Odyssey sold
[1:25:01] out in 10 minutes or whatever. There's a
[1:25:03] very limited number of IMAX 70
[1:25:06] millimeter screens in this country in
[1:25:08] the world I guess. And uh IMAX is this
[1:25:11] interesting company where they license
[1:25:14] their technology both to movie studios
[1:25:17] and then they manufacture film making uh
[1:25:20] technology cameras and things like that
[1:25:22] that filmmakers use. And so like they
[1:25:24] don't technically own any theaters,
[1:25:27] right? Um Regal and and AMC and Cinemark
[1:25:30] and all these places, they they kind of
[1:25:32] license the ability to have IMAX
[1:25:35] projectors and things like that. So um
[1:25:37] that is but but they have kind of these
[1:25:39] special arrangements. So like you didn't
[1:25:41] buy an IMAX ticket through the IMAX
[1:25:43] website or whatever, right? Like the
[1:25:44] studios work with the um the theater
[1:25:47] owners to sell these special tickets
[1:25:50] ahead of time. It's just a promotional
[1:25:52] stunt, you know, and it kind of appeals
[1:25:54] to the most hardcore fans that want to
[1:25:56] see their certain
[1:25:58] >> uh film format. Um, but it is I think
[1:26:02] you're absolutely right. It is kind of
[1:26:03] just I think it's just a stunt to get
[1:26:04] your movie that is way ahead of time.
[1:26:06] Typically movie tickets don't go on sale
[1:26:08] till 30 days out from when the the uh
[1:26:10] film releases, but you can sell them
[1:26:12] whenever.
[1:26:13] >> Yeah.
[1:26:13] >> Right. They usually kind of wait because
[1:26:15] they want to um really saturate their
[1:26:17] marketing budget in a narrow window to
[1:26:19] really get everybody because most people
[1:26:21] don't want to buy a movie ticket for 6
[1:26:23] months from now. We don't even know if
[1:26:24] we're going to be standing. No, at that
[1:26:26] time or if the world will exist or
[1:26:28] whatever. Uh it's a very limited subset
[1:26:30] of people. Uh so that's why they
[1:26:32] typically don't, but there's nothing
[1:26:33] stopping them from doing that. Yes, we
[1:26:35] got more super chats coming in. Thank
[1:26:36] you for that question, Marvel Pirate.
[1:26:38] >> Oh, we do, but we got a tweet update.
[1:26:40] >> We got a new tweet.
[1:26:41] Cast for Digger includes Tom Cruz, John
[1:26:43] Goodman, Jesse Plemens, Ree Aamemed, and
[1:26:46] Sandra Huller.
[1:26:48] >> A stacked cast.
[1:26:48] >> That is a stacked cast.
[1:26:49] >> I love Rezmed, man. I'm such a fan.
[1:26:51] >> That all those names are excellent.
[1:26:53] Sandra Huller uh of course recently seen
[1:26:55] in Project Hail Mary.
[1:26:56] >> Yes.
[1:26:57] >> And and had that great year like two
[1:26:58] years ago with Zone of Interest and
[1:27:00] Anatomy of a Fall. Super talented German
[1:27:03] actress. Um John Goodman, Jesse Clemens,
[1:27:05] Ramemed. Killers, killers. More super
[1:27:09] chats. Bryant
[1:27:12] >> over under 20% Lex Luthther gets
[1:27:14] pregnant with Connor Super Boy at the
[1:27:17] end of at the end of Man of Tomorrow.
[1:27:19] >> So almost like a Man of Tomorrow Jr.
[1:27:21] crossover. Junior being the Thomas
[1:27:24] Arnold Schwarzenegger movie
[1:27:25] >> pregnant
[1:27:27] >> and and and maybe like the movie ends
[1:27:29] with like Lex looking at the camera
[1:27:30] being like speaking of man of tomorrow.
[1:27:36] >> I'm going to say under 20%. under 20.
[1:27:39] >> As much as I do think the over makes for
[1:27:42] a really interesting third
[1:27:43] >> ad. Thank you, Lonely Guacamole. You're
[1:27:45] currently leader in the clubhouse for
[1:27:47] and it's stiff competition for craziest
[1:27:50] super chat. Um, but again, it is
[1:27:52] competitive right now.
[1:27:54] >> Who has the highest one?
[1:27:55] >> Uh, I think that's still our friend
[1:27:56] Frederick Price with the $20 super chat.
[1:27:58] I drink a bureau in your name as of now,
[1:28:01] Frederick.
[1:28:02] >> We got a poster for Hunt for Gollum.
[1:28:05] >> Okay. Ian Ian Mckllen coming back as
[1:28:07] Gandalf. Kate Winslett as Maragle. Jamie
[1:28:10] Dornan as Strider. Aragorn for the
[1:28:13] uninitiated. Leo Woodall as Halver. Lee
[1:28:16] Pace as Thandil. Okay. And Elijah Wood
[1:28:20] is a little known character named Frodo
[1:28:22] Baggins.
[1:28:23] >> Am I incorrect? Has Lee Pace already
[1:28:26] played an elf in one of these movies?
[1:28:28] >> He has elf. He has Lord of the Rings. He
[1:28:31] was he was I think he might have been a
[1:28:34] dark elf in like the first Guardians of
[1:28:36] the Galaxy.
[1:28:37] >> Well, he was he was Ronin the Accuser in
[1:28:39] Guardians of the Galaxy. But hasn't he
[1:28:40] been in Lord of the Rings? Am I just
[1:28:42] confusing the thousand other things that
[1:28:44] Lee Pace has done?
[1:28:45] >> Someone else was Aragorn.
[1:28:46] >> I think that is who that
[1:28:49] is who he is.
[1:28:51] >> Oh, it is.
[1:28:52] >> He has played that role before. Okay. Um
[1:28:54] Yes. Okay. And now Yeah.
[1:28:56] >> He was in The Hobbit. Yeah.
[1:28:57] >> Yes. He was in the Hobbit films. Okay.
[1:28:59] Um, which so this movie's timeline is
[1:29:03] before the events of Lord of the Rings,
[1:29:05] right? It's in between The Hobbit and
[1:29:06] Lord of the Rings, I believe, is where
[1:29:08] this is set. So, it makes sense that
[1:29:10] somebody like, um, uh, Ian Mckllen or
[1:29:13] Lee Pace would be playing their same
[1:29:14] character from either of those
[1:29:16] franchises. Wizards Live for like a
[1:29:18] thousand years in Middle Earth, right?
[1:29:20] So um
[1:29:21] >> knock on wood, Ian Mckllen, national
[1:29:23] international treasure. Uh, hopefully we
[1:29:26] get 20 more years of him making films.
[1:29:27] So good.
[1:29:28] >> Isn't it funny that he's like, at least
[1:29:30] to me, known for these like old man
[1:29:32] roles and he's been doing them for like
[1:29:34] the 30 years.
[1:29:34] >> He's been old for Yeah. 25 years.
[1:29:36] >> He's been he's been old for my entire
[1:29:38] life. There's a certain subset of actor,
[1:29:40] Tommy Lee Jones, Robert Duval, um uh you
[1:29:44] know, Gene Hackman that you you see
[1:29:46] movies they made in the 70s, they were
[1:29:48] already old.
[1:29:49] >> Yeah. 60 years ago, they were old. Um
[1:29:53] Yeah. They don't they don't make them
[1:29:54] like that anymore. Now everybody looks
[1:29:55] young forever. We got uh Nick Howy uh
[1:29:57] 2275 uh $5 Kiwi uh super chat hunt forg
[1:30:02] cast announcement trailer out via
[1:30:04] Fandango. And we've got to hear during
[1:30:05] this poster, but thank you just the same
[1:30:06] for the hands up.
[1:30:07] >> Are they shooting it down in your neck
[1:30:09] of the woods, Nick Hley?
[1:30:10] >> It must be his backyard actually.
[1:30:12] >> All right, we got a hand up from Brian.
[1:30:13] New super chat incoming. Uh Eric
[1:30:15] Hendershot 9802 $5 super chat. Uh they
[1:30:19] will not mention Voltron at Cineacon.
[1:30:21] Amazon already announced it will stream
[1:30:23] on Prime Only. Cineacon only for
[1:30:25] theatrical release.
[1:30:26] >> You're bringing facts. You're bringing
[1:30:28] valuable information, Eric Hendershot,
[1:30:31] uh that we were not bringing, mostly
[1:30:33] because I hadn't heard about that film
[1:30:34] at all. Makes sense now. It is not
[1:30:36] getting a theatrical release. Amazon,
[1:30:38] right?
[1:30:40] >> Amazon bought MGM Studios a number of
[1:30:42] years ago. Um they've kind of, you know,
[1:30:45] been hit or miss. They've they've put
[1:30:46] out movies in theaters like uh Project
[1:30:49] Hail Mary recently has been kind of
[1:30:51] their biggest hit. They've had less
[1:30:52] success. They also put out the Melania
[1:30:54] documentary. They put out Red One, some
[1:30:57] other stuff. They've, you know, famously
[1:31:00] some movies that the creators thought
[1:31:01] were going to get to go to theaters like
[1:31:03] the um Roadhouse reboot which Gyllenhaal
[1:31:06] they did not put in theaters. They only
[1:31:08] put that on Prime. So like hopefully
[1:31:09] they are going to continue to make a
[1:31:11] commitment to theatrical releases.
[1:31:12] There's some speculation in their panel
[1:31:15] at Cineacon which is tomorrow I believe.
[1:31:17] >> Yes,
[1:31:18] >> we might get it. James Bond news.
[1:31:22] Amy Pascal's working on it. You know
[1:31:25] what I mean? Denville Noov working on it
[1:31:28] >> maybe.
[1:31:28] >> We don't know who's in it. We
[1:31:29] >> We are getting some James Bond the
[1:31:31] ending of 007 First Light, the upcoming
[1:31:34] James Bond single player action
[1:31:35] adventure game for consoles. Uh leaked
[1:31:38] via ratings board submission earlier
[1:31:40] this week. So there is there's Bond in
[1:31:43] the air. We will not have to wait long
[1:31:45] for new Bond. It's been one of the
[1:31:47] larger gaps between Bond movies, the
[1:31:49] current one we are experiencing. Um, so
[1:31:52] I'm I'm excited to see where that
[1:31:53] franchise goes. Also, Denise can do no
[1:31:57] wrong. I'm kind of sad we're losing him
[1:31:59] for sci-fi epics and maybe original
[1:32:02] films. I know,
[1:32:03] >> but I'm excited to see what he does with
[1:32:05] Bond.
[1:32:05] >> Also, maybe he makes James Bond a sci-fi
[1:32:07] epic. Maybe it's like Bond versus an
[1:32:09] alien, you know? Like,
[1:32:11] >> yeah. Yeah, it could be Moonreaker. What
[1:32:12] if he just does Moonraaker?
[1:32:13] >> What if it's just Bond is on Arachus?
[1:32:16] Yes. Love that. Love that. Sandy Bond.
[1:32:19] >> Give me that Sandy Bond.
[1:32:21] >> Put Bond in a still suit, but the still
[1:32:23] suit has gadgets.
[1:32:24] >> Oh yeah. And he's [Β __Β ] Come on, dude.
[1:32:27] >> Infiltrating the Hearkinins. Yeah, it's
[1:32:30] great.
[1:32:31] >> Um, as the prophecy foretold. Um, okay.
[1:32:35] Uh, so yeah, we are we are uh patiently
[1:32:38] refreshing here as we get more and more
[1:32:40] news coming out about Warner Brothers
[1:32:42] properties. In theory, this panel ends
[1:32:44] at 6 PM. Is that correct? Or 6:30.
[1:32:48] >> Yeah. And I don't know how much they
[1:32:49] have a heart out. So, obviously, they're
[1:32:51] they're holding DC. That might be their
[1:32:53] big capper at the end. DC and Dune are
[1:32:55] probably going to be their big uh tent
[1:32:57] polls here that they're going to
[1:32:58] announce at the end. Yeah, we got more
[1:32:59] super chats coming in. Bryant.
[1:33:01] >> Uh Matthew Pete, uh $201 just to get the
[1:33:06] bureau shout out.
[1:33:06] >> It's yours,
[1:33:07] >> my man.
[1:33:08] >> It's yours, Matthew.
[1:33:09] >> Matthew Pete. Now, who has $202?
[1:33:12] >> Yeah, I know.
[1:33:13] >> Or $21.
[1:33:15] >> All right, another super chat coming up
[1:33:17] here. Uh Peezy, uh Two Bucks, just want
[1:33:20] to say hi. Big fan. Love the channel.
[1:33:22] Hey, thank you so much. These these
[1:33:23] direct these direct super chats uh mean
[1:33:26] a lot to us.
[1:33:26] >> Pey, thanks for watching. Thanks for
[1:33:28] Thanks everybody for being here,
[1:33:30] watching this with us. I know like
[1:33:32] conceptually watching a group of people
[1:33:34] slowly read tweets uh from their
[1:33:36] coworker who's at a more interesting
[1:33:38] event, you know, on paper I understand
[1:33:41] that's not killer content. Okay. But
[1:33:44] because of you guys, because of you
[1:33:45] guys, because of Brian here, it is fun.
[1:33:48] We're making it happen.
[1:33:49] >> We're having fun.
[1:33:51] >> We got another super chat here uh from
[1:33:54] Marvel Pirate. $2 super chat. That
[1:33:56] creepy goddamn thing again. Uh so IMAX
[1:34:00] is growing control over release
[1:34:03] thoughts.
[1:34:03] >> Yeah. So this is there's been some good
[1:34:05] writing in the Hollywood Reporter and
[1:34:07] some other industry trades recently
[1:34:08] about so over the LA a big trend over
[1:34:11] the last 10 years has been the growing
[1:34:13] importance of PLF premium large formats
[1:34:16] over the theatrical experience. Right?
[1:34:18] Average ticket prices have gone up a lot
[1:34:20] over the last 10 years. And a big part
[1:34:22] of that is a higher percentage of
[1:34:24] tickets are people paying extra to go
[1:34:26] see things in IMAX uh 4DX.
[1:34:29] >> Real quick, hold that thought. We got a
[1:34:31] Digger trailer revealed at Cineacon with
[1:34:34] a description by Eric Voss. The film
[1:34:36] tells the story of Digger Rockwell. Tom
[1:34:38] Cruz, an oil baron who's drilling on the
[1:34:40] ice shelf of Greenland causes the
[1:34:41] breaking of massive icebergs that
[1:34:43] threaten billions of lives worldwide.
[1:34:45] John Goodman plays the US president who
[1:34:47] tasks Roswell Rockwell to fix the crisis
[1:34:50] that escalates into a global nuclear
[1:34:51] war. The film looks incredible. Think
[1:34:53] Dr. Strange Love meets Birdman meets
[1:34:55] Don't Look Up meets the death of Stalin.
[1:34:57] I love Death of Stalin. Already it looks
[1:34:59] like this year's one battle after
[1:35:00] another. The production design is
[1:35:02] surrealistic and hilarious and
[1:35:03] terrifying. Cruz is under heavy
[1:35:05] prosthetics but gives gives a
[1:35:08] performance reminiscent of Tropic
[1:35:09] Thunder LFG, which must stand for little
[1:35:13] fat guy. Ah, which Tom Cruz might be
[1:35:16] playing in this movie.
[1:35:18] >> Um, a heavily prosthetics Tom Cruz
[1:35:21] playing a maniac billionaire who has to
[1:35:24] save the world.
[1:35:24] >> I'm all for it.
[1:35:25] >> Wild wild.
[1:35:26] >> I don't think it needs a trailer. I
[1:35:28] think we're in.
[1:35:29] >> We're in. We got another update here.
[1:35:31] Now they're coming in fast. So, what
[1:35:32] happened with Sony yesterday? They start
[1:35:33] coming in fast towards the end. The end
[1:35:35] of Oak Street footage shown at Cineacon.
[1:35:37] An expanded version of the amazing
[1:35:39] trailer that dropped online in late
[1:35:41] March. New shots include a T-Rex chasing
[1:35:44] the family across suburban front lawn.
[1:35:46] >> And this is an original film. We don't
[1:35:48] really know anything about the plot
[1:35:49] other than what we've seen in trailers.
[1:35:51] It's kind of being uh closely guarded.
[1:35:54] Uh very exciting. Um uh starring Anne
[1:35:58] Heatherway, Yan McGregor from um the
[1:36:01] director of It Follows, David Robert
[1:36:04] Mitchell. Uh so he can do kind of creepy
[1:36:07] >> It follows was great. Yeah. Uh I really
[1:36:09] disliked Under the Silver Lake, the
[1:36:11] Andrew Garfield movie he made after
[1:36:12] that, but that's my personal preference.
[1:36:15] Um excited for this. Uh so back to PLFS,
[1:36:18] right? And so as uh it's become
[1:36:20] increasingly important for movies to get
[1:36:22] as many of those PLF screens because
[1:36:23] that kind of boosts their box office.
[1:36:25] Also, there's the thinking that like
[1:36:27] sometimes people it might push people
[1:36:28] over the edge. They weren't considering
[1:36:30] going to a movie, but oh, it's playing
[1:36:31] an IMAX. That'll be a fun experience.
[1:36:32] >> 25 bucks for a regular movie ticket? No.
[1:36:35] 30 bucks for an IMAX ticket? Yes. Uh, so
[1:36:38] there's a lot of jockeying there, but
[1:36:40] IMAX a gives preference to films that
[1:36:43] were shot in IMAX. Dune 3 was shot in
[1:36:45] IMAX. Christopher Nolan's Odyssey was
[1:36:48] shot entirely, I believe, in 70
[1:36:50] millimeter IMAX. And there's all kinds
[1:36:51] of things you can adopt. You can adapt a
[1:36:54] movie that was not shot in IMAX to play
[1:36:56] IMAX, but obviously it hits a little
[1:36:58] different if they were using IMAX
[1:36:59] cameras and it's IMAX things. So, all
[1:37:01] this is to say, yeah, it's a weird
[1:37:03] negotiating tactic these movies use.
[1:37:05] Famously, because Denuv used IMAX
[1:37:08] cameras to shoot Dune, IMAX was like,
[1:37:10] "Yeah, you can have all the IMAX screens
[1:37:12] for your release." And then Avengers
[1:37:14] Doom Day was like, "Hey, it's us, the
[1:37:16] little guy in the corner that's making
[1:37:18] one of the biggest movies ever. Can we
[1:37:19] have some IMAX screens?" And they're
[1:37:21] like, "No, you cannot. You did not use
[1:37:23] our cameras. Uh, and we've already
[1:37:24] promised them to this guy over here."
[1:37:26] So, um, Avengers Zoom Day for at least
[1:37:29] the first two weeks of its release will
[1:37:30] not be an iMac screens. Now, you could
[1:37:32] probably see it in 4DX or all the other
[1:37:35] PL.
[1:37:35] >> Yeah, you you'll be able to see it on a
[1:37:36] big screen.
[1:37:37] >> Dolby, Laser, all the whatever. And
[1:37:40] also, the other thing too is um, all the
[1:37:42] cinema chains resent IMAX because it has
[1:37:46] become a bigger brand than they have and
[1:37:48] they feel and they don't get to keep all
[1:37:50] of the money, right? they have to pay
[1:37:51] kind of residuals to and so they are all
[1:37:54] trying to develop their own PLF brands
[1:37:57] concurrent. And so that's why like our
[1:38:00] local AMC, you walk in there and uh
[1:38:02] there's an IMAX over here and then
[1:38:03] there's a Dolby over here and AMC would
[1:38:06] probably prefer you go see the Dolby uh
[1:38:08] where they get to keep all the money.
[1:38:09] Yeah.
[1:38:11] >> Uh we're getting um
[1:38:12] >> and they just added that Screen X.
[1:38:15] >> Screen X.
[1:38:16] >> Is that the new
[1:38:17] >> that's been around for a minute? Yeah.
[1:38:18] But that you mean here at our local
[1:38:20] theater? Yes. Yeah,
[1:38:21] >> I see you, Jay. Izzy, sorry. We've been
[1:38:23] having a lot of a lot of stuff going on
[1:38:24] here, Brian. I got a uh another hand up
[1:38:27] back there. What's up? What's up next on
[1:38:29] the ninja stream? Ninja super chat from
[1:38:32] Sarah Hatchadorian. Sue
[1:38:35] for the bureau. Are you counting super
[1:38:37] chat totals if people sent in multiple
[1:38:39] over the week?
[1:38:39] >> Yes. Yes. I'll I'll I'll go through the
[1:38:41] logs and I'll I'll I'll tabulate
[1:38:43] everything. I'll drink one bureau for
[1:38:45] most total super chats, one bureau for
[1:38:48] biggest individual. And you know what?
[1:38:49] had you going anytime I drink a beer,
[1:38:51] it's for you.
[1:38:53] >> Maybe I'll find something like
[1:38:54] incredibly spicy to eat. Like I'll I'll
[1:38:56] go get like a gitlada curry and whoever
[1:39:00] >> for those of you who don't live in LA, a
[1:39:01] gelatada curry is no joke.
[1:39:03] >> Dude, here's the thing. There's spicy
[1:39:05] food. There's like Hot Ones type spicy.
[1:39:07] Then you go to a Thai restaurant.
[1:39:09] >> It's and it's
[1:39:10] >> it's different.
[1:39:12] >> Like a good like authentic Thai
[1:39:14] restaurant and it's like there there's
[1:39:16] levels to it that you didn't know
[1:39:18] existed. That's all I'm gonna say. We
[1:39:19] got uh Begsy one 1234 uh sending in a a
[1:39:23] gift membership. Thank you,
[1:39:24] >> Begy. Who gets it?
[1:39:26] >> It went to Matt Matt Zake YT. Um
[1:39:30] received that gift membership by
[1:39:32] Begsy1234.
[1:39:33] >> Congrats.
[1:39:35] >> That's the That's the superhero team up
[1:39:36] we've been looking for. Not all heroes
[1:39:38] wear capes. A lot of them give out
[1:39:39] YouTube gift memberships. Uh and we
[1:39:42] celebrate you. We thank you. You keep
[1:39:44] you keep this channel going more
[1:39:46] literally than you may know.
[1:39:51] >> Uh yeah, if if the lights start to dim,
[1:39:53] it's because we didn't get enough super
[1:39:55] chats.
[1:39:55] >> Yeah. Yeah. It's like, you know, you got
[1:39:57] to clap for Tinker Bells coming alive.
