Endgame Gearing Guide — Step-by-Step Guide & Transcript

[00:01] season 1. I'm going to show you exactly what to do at the highest level of end game content to push past item level 280 with some neat little tricks to save you some time and how to do everything as efficiently as possible. But before we

[02:07] you grab your neighborhood weekly quest over in Silvermoon. Now, this is going to be probably the easiest and most consistent way to earn hero level crest, critical as you start pushing into those higher item levels we're talking about

[02:21] later on in the video. The quest itself, very simple, you just grab it, you go complete an activity inside of it depending on whatever the quest may be, know, going to a friend's house, whatever the case may be. You complete

[02:34] you're good to go. Now listen, you will get to choose which crest you want. the hero crest because that's what's going to be probably the biggest bottleneck once you start filling out your character with hero track gear. So,

[02:47] make sure you're doing this every single week. It's very low effort, high value, to miss. Now, on top of that, I also want to quickly talk about the nightmare prey system and the nightmare weekly quest. Now, I know nightmare prey is

[03:01] probably not at the top of your list at this point in the game when it comes to is something a lot of players don't there is a weekly nightmare prey quest here, but the thing is that the crest

[03:14] for this do not count towards your weekly crest cap. And if you did not know, yes, there is a weekly cap on crest, which is what prevents players max item level uh pretty much as soon as possible. Now, this quest completely

[03:28] bypasses the system, so yes, it is a little bit of a pain in the ass to do single week, but not only that, they give you a ton of other champion crest which is really, really valuable for progressing your character. So, soon

[03:43] all this champion crest ready to go, and once you finally get the achievement to anymore, you can actually convert it and trade it into Hero Crest, and then you'll be able to zoom through that as well, and then move on to Myth track.

[03:57] you're capped out, or you just want to stay ahead and push your character even best ways you can actually get some Hero Crest on top of your cap, which is pretty damn nice. Now, right now, also, do not forget that it is Delve week in

[04:11] getting significantly more Delver's Journey progress and companion experience all the way up until this Tuesday's reset. So, right now is the perfect time to push as much Delve progression as possible, and try to hit

[04:24] Delver's Journey rank four. Now, listen, for solo players, especially if you're content as much as possible, rank four is very, very important right now, because this is where you can start earning Mythic Crest completely solo.

[04:38] this a little bit compared to the War Within, where, you know, previously, you can get more value per run, but now it's structured so that you're getting five Mythic Crest per Tier 11 Delve, meaning you'll need to complete four Tier 11

[04:51] Delves to maximize your weekly gains, where in War Within, previously, it was three. So, yes, it is a little bit more work, but considering this is completely extremely strong if you don't want to rely on dungeons and group finder and

[05:04] all that nonsense. The only downside right now is that Blizzard, Delver's Journey progression we can actually progress through entirely. So, from what it looks like, most players

[05:16] are effectively capped out around rank four this week, which means you can't fully take advantage of Delve week, either, as much as you possibly want to, listen, personally, I think it's a bit of a mess, especially during an event

[05:28] high as possible while this event is happening. But, for now, it is what it is, I guess. Now, additionally, because you are completing a Tier 11 Delve, if you have done it for the first time, you will also get rewarded with an item that

[05:41] is called the Cracked Keystone. Now, this right here is going to be huge for filling you up with Hero, and more importantly mythic dawn crest giving you 20 each of these. Now, this is going to be critical in trying to craft our 285

[05:55] later in the video because it requires 80 mythic dawn crest to create, which is game. It's also important to note that the crest that you earned from here does not count toward your weekly cap as well. So, if you haven't done this at

[06:10] all, this is going to be absolutely mandatory. Stop what you're doing right now. Make sure to go complete a tier 11 delve, get this quest, and get it done mandatory bit of content you need to be

[06:22] activating your delver's bounty on a tier eight or higher to earn a guaranteed piece of hero equipment once per week. Now, the way you can get your delver's bounty is either by randomly completing delves at a delve rank six or

[06:36] higher, or you can guarantee the loot drop by using what is called a beacon of hope, which is purchasable at the delver's vendor in Silvermoon. From there, you take this and you go to the hearthstone checkpoint in a delve to

[06:48] and then he will guaranteed drop this delver's bounty map for you. Once again, do not activate the beacon of hope at anything below a tier eight delve. Make delve or higher. Also, don't forget you can actually get a free beacon of hope

[07:03] from the nightmare parade quest chain. So, go on over there if you have not hope and you'll be able to get your delver's bounty for free. Now, talking rules that you need to follow in terms of, you know, how the whole system

[07:16] works. In general right now, mythic plus is actually very very easy to do across the board. Right now, as I'm making this video, there are over 1 million completed mythic plus runs only two days after the season's launch, and it's

[07:29] all-time record for mythic plus this week. So, if you think mythic plus is something to be super scared of or stressed about, it really isn't at this or just someone trying to learn, Blizzard did introduce that new route

[07:42] helper, you know, affixes and system where the mobs in the dungeon will glow yellow up to a key level five and help formulate a really solid route for you that ends up giving you all the proper percentage you need to complete that

[07:55] to bottom, Mythic Plus is very very easy, so definitely try to hop into the system. With that being said, the first key Mythic Plus level you do need to be aware of is Mythic Plus level six. At Mythic Plus level six, this is when

[08:09] you'll be able to start earning hero track loot at the end of your dungeon for the lowest difficulty possible. In case you did not know, hero track loot can scale all the way up to 276 item level all on its own. So, technically,

[08:24] in this video as well as just spamming Mythic Plus sixes, you can actually get to the bare minimum of 276 item level game, which is pretty incredible. Now, once you feel comfortable enough with

[08:38] your game play and how all of everything works when it comes to the dungeons and actually push onward to some of the harder Mythic Plus content. And the next one in terms of importance is a Mythic Plus nine. At Mythic Plus nine, this is

[08:52] the critical level because this is where you could start earning Mythic Dawn Crest. This is the highest level crest in the entire game, and this is going to be critical as we are going to try to craft our 285 spark weapon, which is

[09:04] close to best in slot we can get this season. So, if you're planning on pushing past 275 item level bracket and getting into the highest, you know, echelon of content to make your sparks and and gear the best it can, Mythic

[09:16] Plus nines are going to be where it's at for the lowest difficulty possible for the highest reward to make your weapons. And then lastly, you also have Mythic Plus tens. Now, everything here is exactly the same as Mythic Plus nine,

[09:30] but now you will be faced with tyrannical and fortified enemies, which means all the mobs and bosses will be harder to kill in that Mythic Plus, but the reward is that you will also be filling up your Great Vault with Mythic

[09:43] Track gear that can be selected every Tuesday at your Great Vault, which of course is the best gear in the game. Not only that, if you complete a Mythic Plus dungeon at level 10 or higher, you will earn the Keystone Hero for that dungeon

[09:57] and get the dungeon teleport, which will give you the ability to teleport to that dungeon whenever you would like to save you the trip. Not only that, you will also earn 12 Mythic Dawn Crest as well, which is a little bit higher from plus

[10:09] note this is where some of the best players in the game are camping out in terms of efficiency is at Mythic Plus 10s because these help them fill out items. It gives them a solid amount of Dawn Crest for the best gear in the game

[10:24] to upgrade. It gives them their, you know, dungeon teleports. Literally everything possible. So, for a lot of higher end players, Mythic Plus 10s are very, very valuable right now. You can actually take advantage of this because

[10:36] if you boost up your own key to Mythic Plus 10, you can invite some really high-level players to help you out and clear your dungeons with you. And plus 10 right now are pretty damn high.

[10:48] actually is, there are actually more people completing Mythic Plus 10 dungeons rather than Mythic Plus two at the moment. So, yes, the difficulty is technically scaled up and you do need to know the mechanics of the dungeons.

[11:03] However, the players you encounter in there are usually very solid and the chances of you completing that dungeon right now are pretty damn high. Now, of push past Mythic Plus 10, but you only need to push past this if you're trying

[11:16] to get your Mythic Plus score up to 3K rating for the seasonal achievements or for more Mythic Dawn Crest. And the highest cap you can get is at Mythic Plus 12s where you can earn 16 Mythic Dawn Crest per run, which is incredibly

[11:30] efficient if you can complete those. Also, don't forget that if you hit 2K rating in Mythic Plus this season, you will be rewarded with a free Catalyst charge, and you can use this at the Catalyst in Silvermoon to convert a

[11:42] piece of gear into a tier set piece, which can be a massive power spike for your damage as well as healing. Personally, I'm only going to be using this on hero track gear since those pieces are going to last much longer.

[11:54] Now, I will also say I'm not 100% sure how the full Catalyst charge system some people and, you know, other players report that they're getting charges from other forms of content as well, but I haven't confirmed that myself, so I'm

[12:07] I'll be testing a little bit more of, and I'll update you guys as soon as I in the game, you should have all the information possible to be able to craft your best-in-slot items right now in

[12:19] course is going to be some of the best gear in the game. Remember, though, for each spark craft, it costs 80 crest of whatever crest level you are trying to choose. example, you can see here that I'm trying to craft my 285 weapon, and

[12:33] I'm using 80 Mythic Dawn Crest to be able to craft it. I got these from farming my Mythic Plus nines and 10s as much as I possibly can, and doing so got me my 285 weapon literally within week one of the season being available. And

[12:48] will have for pretty much the next 6 months until season two of Midnight to think about. But okay, ladies and gentlemen, really quick priority and foremost, you want to make sure you are completing your neighborhood weekly

[13:02] activities every single week. Get that free hero track crest, that'll be easy nightmare weekly quest. Go ahead and try to do that because it's uncapped in Also, additionally, you have your tier 11 delves that you can do every single

[13:15] much as you can. And then additionally, don't forget you have your cracked keystone that you have your one-time completion for the 20 Mythic Dawn Crest Don't forget also you have your Delver's Bounty, which can give you a free hero

[13:29] which is great. And then make sure to remember the mythic 6 9 and 10 rule where if you want hero track gear, you start at mythic 6. If you want to start mythic 9. And then you can actually go up to mythic 10 to get your portals and

[13:45] your great vault with mythic track loot at mythic plus 10. Don't forget you could also earn your free catalyst charge at 2K rating in mythic plus. And from here you can craft your 285 weapon and beyond when it comes to sparks. But
