[07:31] tier six ritual sites. I got some myth
[07:34] crests. I got some field accolades.

[07:42] it's rubbish. Literally gave me the
[07:44] worst stats. So, I'm going to switch up

[07:49] strategy to again just hop into really
[07:51] high keys and roll for loot. And

[07:57] I went to Ny'alotha and that was sorely
[08:01] disappointing after like the mob

[08:14] Yeah, I liked it. It felt like a bit of
[08:16] a challenge.

[08:20] everyone decimates the mobs even on
[08:22] heroic tier. Again, I guess that, you
[08:24] know, we talked about this a bit
[08:25] yesterday on the stream, but it it feels
[08:27] like it is for alts. And

[08:32] >> It feels like it's for alts, but at the
[08:34] same time, cuz I went in there with my
[08:36] main and I did all the story quests and
[08:37] stuff. And like, you know what? There's
[08:38] actually some quite good world building
[08:40] and stuff in there. There's like some
[08:41] There's like a little intriguing thing
[08:43] of what is this planet and why were the
[08:45] Legion using it and stuff like that.
[08:46] Like the On the Anvil um quests as well,
[08:49] which were really great actually if
[08:50] you're reading the quest text and stuff.
[08:52] >> what? They are good. I did them on the
[08:53] PTR, so I kind of blasted through them.
[08:55] >> I did all that [ __ ] with my main. I was
[08:57] like, well, there's nothing for me here,
[08:59] you know,
[09:01] like heroic heroic mode or not. And so,
[09:04] I I thought, well, I bet I bet it's much
[09:06] better for an alt. So, I went in with a
[09:07] leveling alt.
[09:09] Cuz if I want if I want field acolytes,
[09:10] I'm going to do
[09:13] ritual sites, right? So,
[09:15] like you can bot those. That's the best
[09:16] way to get, especially now with tier six
[09:18] as well. Um so, I went in with like an
[09:21] alt that I've been leveling, like an 84
[09:23] alt.
[09:24] And I ran around and okay, it's not as
[09:26] fast for leveling as doing a dungeon or
[09:29] whatever, but it is a a nice change of
[09:31] pace, you know? A nice
[09:33] And you're getting field acolytes at the
[09:34] same time.
[09:35] The gear you're getting is better than
[09:36] you're getting in leveling
[09:38] So, it felt worthwhile and I was like,
[09:39] "Oh, actually, yeah, this is what
[09:40] Nathria is for. It's for, like, you
[09:43] know, leveling alts." But then, after 20
[09:46] minutes, I'd run out of quests. I'd run
[09:48] out of world quests and I was done. And
[09:51] I literally there was the the map was
[09:53] literally empty. There was nothing to
[09:55] do. Which, okay, fair enough, you don't
[09:56] want to overwhelm people, but that that
[09:57] was my leveling journey over on that alt
[09:59] in Nathria, right? Which is a shame cuz
[10:01] like I was having so much fun blasting
[10:04] stationary mushrooms that didn't fight
[10:06] back.
[10:07] I did that quest like four times. It's
[10:10] like, "Yo, can you just kill some
[10:11] stationary mushrooms that don't fight
[10:13] back?" And I'm like, "There's some
[10:14] pretty big monsters in this zone.
[10:16] There's like Ethereals, the Harronna na
[10:18] na, whatever they're called, the baddest
[10:19] Ethereals in the entire world. And thank
[10:21] goodness didn't join in the fight on
[10:22] K'aresh, otherwise we'd have been in
[10:23] trouble cuz they're so badass."

[10:25] else that day. Wasn't that it?
[10:27] Yeah, exactly. And and they were like,
[10:28] "Can you just Nah, don't worry about
[10:29] them. Don't worry about the world boss.

[10:33] that don't fight back." And I'm doing
[10:35] anything. I was like, "Yeah, cool." I
[10:36] did that four times and um yeah, it's
[10:39] fine. And I did a bit of spider-manning
[10:41] on the mushrooms, which is actually like
[10:42] quite fun. Uh but I know everyone's
[10:44] going to hate.

[11:33] went in there and I was really excited.
[11:34] We're like, "Okay guys, welcome to flex

[11:39] mythic. Here we go." But you know what?
[11:41] We had 20 [ __ ] people in our group.

[11:44] >> It was a 20 It was a 20 group a 29
[11:46] group. So it was like, "This is just
[11:48] like
[11:48] >> have just booted someone.
[11:49] >> were going to. So we like for 2 hours
[11:52] there were only 20 there were 20 of us
[11:54] and we're like, "Well, this I mean, this
[11:55] is great. This is fantastic, but it
[11:57] would be nice to have seen the flex
[11:59] stuff a little bit." And luckily,
[12:01] someone joined like after 2 hours and
[12:03] then we had 21. So I can now say
[12:06] I can now say that I've tested the flex
[12:09] mythic rating.

[12:11] I've tested the flex mythic rating at
[12:13] this point. There's 20 of us exactly

[1:08:11] Franks, yeah. New dungeon in the mythic

[1:08:16] one's even seen it before. Brilliant.
[1:08:17] That's like the the highlight of the
[1:08:19] mythic plus season for me. Last time we
[1:08:20] had that Well, actually last time we had
[1:08:22] that was in Echo Dome, but Echo Dome was
[1:08:23] a good dungeon, as well. I enjoyed that
[1:08:25] in the mythic plus rotation.

[1:08:28] >> Uh the Waterworks one, the Operation
[1:08:30] Floodgate, one of the best dungeons in
[1:08:32] the entire game.

[1:08:44] Brilliant. Happy about that. Murder Row,
[1:08:46] bang a [ __ ] dungeon. Potentially the
[1:08:48] best dungeon in this expansion. That
[1:08:51] [ __ ] is legit. The bosses have like
[1:08:53] super fun mechanics even on the very low
[1:08:54] difficulties. Yeah. Like it's got a kind
[1:08:57] of wandering around town bit, but it's
[1:08:58] not annoying like the Suramar dungeon.
[1:09:00] It's like very It's quite streamlined.
[1:09:02] People are going to hate like the job
[1:09:03] bit, but maybe they'll scale that down a
[1:09:04] bit for the next season. Exactly. And
[1:09:07] like yeah, brilliant. [ __ ] I I love
[1:09:09] Mother Ro. I think it's going to be one
[1:09:10] of the most fun Mythic Plus dungeons of
[1:09:12] the entire season.
[1:09:13] >> And I also love the idea of like making
[1:09:14] really really high key pushers like
[1:09:16] literally sweep the floor. You know,
[1:09:18] it's like it's like no no no. You

[1:09:45] expansion. It looks so great. I love the
[1:09:47] whole concept of it.
[1:09:48] But in practice, it's miserable. On on
[1:09:52] like lower difficulty levels, it's so
[1:09:55] miserable. And you just know if you've
[1:09:57] ever played a Mythic Plus dungeon in
[1:09:59] your life, you know how much that is
[1:10:01] going to [ __ ] suck. It's got the
[1:10:04] worst gauntlet I've ever seen in a
[1:10:06] dungeon. Like the blowy snow gauntlet.
[1:10:09] It blows. It's horrible. It's terrible.
[1:10:11] I I hate it. It's going to be bad. No
[1:10:13] one's going to like it. The Blinding
[1:10:14] Veil potentially a really really good
[1:10:16] Mythic Plus dungeon, I think. Like I I
[1:10:18] always love going in there. Void Scar
[1:10:19] Arena could could really go either way,
[1:10:21] honestly. Yeah.

[1:10:22] >> And then we get into the returning
[1:10:23] dungeons, which I was really looking
[1:10:25] forward to cuz I think that I think the
[1:10:26] season one set such a good precedent
[1:10:29] with its returning dungeon.

[1:10:32] >> Well, not only that, but it had two
[1:10:33] dungeons
[1:10:35] like in in Spires of Arak and Pit of
[1:10:38] Saron that had never been Mythic Plus
[1:10:41] dungeons before. They were old dungeons
[1:10:42] that had never been Mythic Plus. So, it
[1:10:43] felt like two new Mythic I was literally
[1:10:45] two new Mythic Plus dungeons. And it
[1:10:47] felt brilliant. I thought I thought
[1:10:50] that was a sign of things to come. I
[1:10:53] That filled me with hope. I was like,
[1:10:55] "Oh, this is a thing they're doing.
[1:10:56] They're going back and they they they
[1:10:58] farming these old dungeons and turning
[1:11:00] into Mythic Plus and they're working
[1:11:01] really well. Pit of Saron and Spire of
[1:11:03] Arak are two of my favorite dungeons in
[1:11:04] season 1. I was like, yeah, okay. Like
[1:11:07] there's a there's Algeth'ar Academy in
[1:11:08] there and it feels really soon to be
[1:11:10] having a
[1:11:11] Dragonflight dungeon, but at least it's
[1:11:13] not Ruby Life Pools, I thought to
[1:11:15] myself. Could be a lot [laughter] worse,
[1:11:17] right?
[1:11:18] And you know, I think in the future I
[1:11:19] think in future seasons we will see like
[1:11:23] like and you know
[1:11:25] I was thinking Wrath dungeons.

[1:13:17] it feels like it's been back loads of
[1:13:19] times in Mythic Plus, but it hasn't. So,

[1:13:23] this is the season of the gauntlet, man.

[1:13:27] very long gauntlet in it and a very
[1:13:29] annoying gauntlet in it.

[1:15:59] need uh cuz we need to get people to
[1:16:01] stop using add-ons for their raid
[1:16:02] frames. When we were in uh
[1:16:04] the the mythic raid last night,
[1:16:08] we'd been wiping on what I thought was
[1:16:11] stupid little things. Like people
[1:16:12] There's these two mobs, right? There's
[1:16:14] like a purple mushroom mob, and there's
[1:16:16] like a green mushroom mob, right? And
[1:16:19] you have to put all the purple mushrooms
[1:16:20] over one place if you get fixated. And
[1:16:22] if you get fixated by a green mob, you
[1:16:23] have to put them in a different place.
[1:16:24] And people just put them in the wrong
[1:16:25] place all the time. And I was like,
[1:16:27] "I don't understand why people are
[1:16:28] getting this wrong. Like it's really
[1:16:30] obvious. You can see it on screen." And
[1:16:32] people were like, "Yeah, but like if
[1:16:33] only there was some way that it appeared
[1:16:35] like on my raid frames or something."
[1:16:37] And I was like, "Well, it it does. Like
[1:16:39] the literal icon of which color
[1:16:44] mushroom is is fixating you appears like
[1:16:47] the icon like it's a purple mushroom or
[1:16:49] a green mushroom and it appears on your
[1:16:51] on your raid frames and it turns out
[1:16:53] that only happened on the standard raid
[1:16:56] frames. Anyone who's using add-on wasn't
[1:16:58] getting that information at all and
[1:17:00] that's why people would didn't know what
[1:17:02] what kind of mushroom was following
[1:17:03] them.
[1:17:04] And that's why we getting the wrong all
[1:17:05] night and it's like yeah like raid
[1:17:07] like not for the first time in season
[1:17:10] one rating
[1:17:11] people who weren't using the standard
[1:17:13] raid frames were getting absolutely

[1:17:38] these debuffs man. I'm getting all cuz
[1:17:39] I've got the standard raid frames. Like
[1:17:42] so yeah you should healers you should be
[1:17:43] using standard raid frames that's what
[1:17:44] I'm saying. And this will make it much
[1:17:46] easier for you with all these things and
[1:17:48] they had to be nice to healers
[1:17:51] because
[1:17:53] they're also being horrible to healers
[1:17:54] with this ping system because there's
[1:17:56] some brilliant things about this ping
[1:17:57] system. You can ping abilities to show
[1:18:00] where they are in their cool down.

[1:18:27] damage cool downs and if you ping that
[1:18:30] when you hit it

[1:18:33] on you right cuz like and I think And
[1:18:35] really good there's like so many
[1:18:37] like potential for that.

[1:18:40] one thing that they're definitely going

[1:22:15] did you? And it's just like it's not a
[1:22:17] massive deal,

[1:37:45] really glad they have.
