Flight 13 Notices Stack Up for Next Week | SpaceX Starbase

[00:01] predicament here on this Starbase summary. I'm watching Starbase live right now and there is a booster being lifted onto the pad, but what do I do? I couple days ago here or actually returning from Massy's, but do I hold

[00:15] this video until the booster's down? Well, I did that's going to be later tomorrow, but then tomorrow's going to be stacked full of stuff as well. I with SpaceX. One more thing, bro. Just wait one more day. Just give me one more

[00:28] day. Here in this Starbase summary, we are going to forge ahead and keep the content fresh, get you all of the information that's been happening the last couple of days, even though right now the booster is being lifted and put

[00:40] onto pad two out at Starbase. That one's going to be in the next one and tomorrow live testing activities and all of the different ways that we do it here at NSF. Let's go through this now though because

[00:53] on Starbase summary you saw ship 40 roll out to Massy's, you saw ship 40 come back from Massy's, you saw ship 41 to Massy's, you saw ship 41 go back out to Massy's again for a

[01:06] second time completing that six engine static fire. And here we have ship 40 coming back from Massy's after that static fire. Now here, of course, ship 40 is going to be the ship that is intended for the flight coming up. So

[01:21] getting it six engine static fire was definitely an important step. Even more with me if you don't agree, than the static fire is getting the booster back from Massy's. If the booster never comes back from Massy's,

[01:34] well, you end up in a ship 36 situation and that's not what we want. Um so anyways, it is coming back over towards the production site. We hope that it the production site. We hope that it joins its uh compatriot out at the pad

[01:47] not going to put it out there when they're trying to do the first booster static fire would be my guess. So let's see this thing roll back in, but like I said, that booster out on the pad right now, we'll be covering that as

[02:02] well because everything is marching towards this flight 13. The honestly might be happening as soon as you would look at the state of the vehicles and you'd say, "All right, all

[02:14] inches of static fire, that's good. Uh the booster just rolled out, that'd be a really fast turnaround, but you know, got the July 4th holiday that was in the mix just coming out of that weekend." Um so how did that affect the cadence? We

[02:28] good successful static fire. Is it going to go through the same sort of things? FTS? All the different questions that happen. But there are notices stacking up like cordwood. It's I don't know if anybody makes Does that make sense to

[02:41] is. It's about like chopping wood, I guess. Uh but there are lots of notices stacking up in Mexican airspace notices, the NOTAMs. On the United States side, we've got some of the sea warning areas, the danger areas, the note

[02:56] that end up out there. All sorts of stuff stacking up with dates starting the middle of next week, 15th, if I'm not mistaken. So, we will see what happens with flight 13. And is there a real possibility that they go next week?

[03:13] about what goes on with the booster static fire. Uh booster 22, good for you, booster 22, in the background there. Fantastic. Well done. Um it's all going to be what d- depend on what goes down with the booster static fire in the

[03:26] next couple days. Let's go down nose cone row here in the cone. We've talked about this in the previous videos. What are they going to test with it? We've seen various hoses and pipes and stuff going in and out of

[03:40] there, people working inside as well. Over there, we've got some tiles being attached and you can actually see those white tile setups. the white layer underneath. It's an interesting setup

[03:53] This one we've moved to another one, it looks like, and that's the detailed area looks like, and that's the detailed area around the forward part of the flap. I was joking when I was talking about ship 40 and ship 41 going back and forth

[04:35] have to wake you up like the day before it's going to launch cuz you never know around. But, I'm curious. If you come to a video like this and it's like, "Man, another booster rolling out. Those are super

[04:48] interesting purple springs." Do you really find value or or my gosh, the only reason I come here is for the launch dates. Just tell me what I am curious. I know there's going to be a subset of people who are like, "Oh

[05:02] time one goes back and forth." It helps keep you informed about what the launch there's going to be other people that are just like, "Nah. Don't bother me unless it's launching tomorrow. Like I got I got plans. I don't need to worry

[05:15] about how many times the ship goes back and forth to Massie's." I'm I'm super honestly, I know there's lots of different types of space fans. People Um probably people who see a Starship

[05:27] like, "Man, I don't care. I don't want to watch a Starship video." Um that's fine. That is all sorts of different folks are allowed to watch space or YouTube or whatever the heck you want in uh whatever format they

[05:39] desire. Anyways, making it all the way back over ago, July 3rd. Cuz more than a it's July 9th. Where does the time go, folks? Here we're going to hop over to July 4th

[08:24] absolutely wild noises when they were moving. The other crazy thing about this is if you sort of put your finger next to the tower, you can see the entire tower flex back and forth.

[08:40] When this thing comes to a stop, that whole tower, look at the pixels of that entire tower shaking back and forth. It is absolutely wild. Seriously need a banana for The whole tower almost is torquing there. And of

[08:55] that they've messed up the tower or anything like that. You get the thing where you you're in the big skyscraper in New York City or Taipei or whatever and the thing needs to lean back and forth in the wind. If it was super

[09:07] little flex to it. Your measly human muscles might not be able to flex that tower, but when those huge beefy arms of the chopsticks are moving, that is an awful lot of force acting on that very long

[09:21] lever arm, actually. Anyways, that is it's just wild. Hey, go talked over a little bit, listen to the the ambient track. Change it over to the round audio, but I'll ask Thomas. I'll ask the editor to turn that up so

[09:37] y'all can hear those crazy noises. I had it on my TV in my living room and at the counter and I heard thought it was outside like an Amazon truck or something like that. It was

[09:51] truck or something like that. It was not. It was the chopstick actuators. You got to love a good cloud time-lapse there. uh little little grassy bits blowing in the

[10:03] foreground and the cumulus clouds I guess accumulating in the background. Oh. All right. Ship 41's coming back from only visual test that that we could observe from a distance was some flap

[10:18] testing. That doesn't mean that they didn't plug in connectors, um lines, pipes, do a fit check of some sort uh maybe after the static fire, who do any testing. They didn't just go out there and fly waggle its ears at you.

[10:32] so rolling it all the way back to the production site, turning on Remedios Pest, the mural in between the megabays and then into megabay two, the home of Starships.
