AI Summary

This video continues a challenge to earn enough gold for a WoW Token by only using vanilla zones. The player engages in crafting unstable triggers, gathering mithril and thorium, fishing for Savory Deviate Delight, and farming mobs in Silithus, culminating in a mailbox opening that shows significant progress.

[00:15]
Mailbox Review and Crafting Unstable Triggers

The player opens the mailbox to find 23,000 gold from sales. They have been AFK crafting unstable triggers by melting mithril ore into bars and making solid blasting powder, earning about 5 gold per craft.

[02:18]
Mithril Gathering in Burning Steppes

To gather materials for unstable triggers, the player mines mithril ore and stones. Though gold per hour is not the best, it provides steady income and diversifies activities.

[03:25]
Thorium Gathering and Winterfall Firewater

In Winterspring, the player mines thorium for arcane crystals and kills a quest mob that drops winterfall firewater (sells for 50-80 gold each). They also try farming furbolgs for firewater but find it inefficient.

[05:25]
Wailing Caverns Run and Deviate Delight Recipe

The player runs Wailing Caverns three times for gear upgrades and green items. They get the recipe for Deviate Delight, a cosmetic food item that requires fishing in the Barrens.

[08:34]
Fishing for Savory Deviate Delight

The player fishes in the Barrens for the fish needed for Deviate Delight. They find that the fish sells for about 50 gold each, and they can catch up to 10k gold per hour. They craft the fish into the consumable and sell it quickly.

[09:48]
Silithus Farming and RNG Boxes

Following a chat recommendation, the player kills Twilight mobs in Silithus for notes that can be turned in for satchels containing recipes. They also kill elementals for materials and green drops, switching mob types to avoid loot penalties.

[14:05]
Mailbox Opening and Final Gold Count

The player opens the mailbox to find 73,454 gold, a significant increase from the previous episode. They note that overcrafting unstable triggers led to a loss, but other sales from greens, materials, and recipes compensated.

The player successfully progresses toward the WoW Token goal by diversifying gold-making methods, including crafting, gathering, fishing, and farming. The final gold count of 73,454 shows strong momentum for the next episode.

[00:01] from absolutely zero all the way up to being able to purchase a WoW Token by making gold in vanilla zones only. So far in the last episode, we made it to level 33. We only have 12 gold in our bag right now, but we're going to open

[00:15] our mailbox immediately to see where we at in the challenge. So looking at the mailbox here, it's looking very beautiful at a 23,000. And as you can see, I've sold a lot of the unstable triggers here. They are

[00:28] pretty decent for me actually to AFK craft. So I've been doing that for a it more later as well. But basically what I'm doing for that is just melting mithril ore into mithril bars. And then I'm also making my own solid blasting

[00:42] powder because this one is already profitable to craft. When the profit from this craft and the mithril melting and the profit by just doing this craft, probably making around five gold per craft per unstable trigger right now,

[00:57] and that is really really good actually. think of that. That's really good. We will definitely continue doing that. And I'm really happy that I chose to level there are some other crafts that we can do as well that are profitable, but the

[01:11] unstable trigger sells really really well. I think the biggest reason for that is because people actually use it when they're pilfering for the mount parts in engineering in the war within. That is why this one is selling so

[01:25] frequently. I think at least that's the major reason why this one is selling way up the mailbox here. It's pretty much mostly unstable triggers now since we did our last mailbox opening in the end of the last video, but we also do have

[01:38] some winterfall firewater that I did farm a little bit in winterspring, which is not bad. I'm probably That's also one thing that you kind of can AFK. We will we get some higher levels we can one-shot stuff. But there is not too

[01:51] much of interest here. We finally sold our copper bolts or some of them at least. Mithril bars selling. Some of the recipes that we bought from vendors here profit. I'm not going to do it again when the prices is that low of the

[02:04] vendor recipes. As you can see here, 72 silver and stuff, it's just really not posting up everything, of course, that we can find. It will add up until we get mailbox. And I'm going to go live now over on

[02:18] and I'm going to work on the challenge live. If you ever want to stop by, do next. So, I thought since we're selling so much of our unstable triggers, I felt like it was kind of worth it to go back to Burning Steppes

[02:33] and do some mithril gathering since we can use both that and the stones that we're getting from mining the mithril nodes into the unstable triggers. Just to get some of our own materials farmed, and I also saw that the stones were

[02:45] quite expensive here on the auction house. So, I thought like if I'm going now, we need to gather some materials. So, I think it's pretty decent to do, but the gold per hour farming the mithril isn't the best. But, we don't

[02:58] challenge, right? We do everything that's fun, and we try to diversify. And really know the gold per hour, but at least we're making some steady income. We're once again trying out the midsummer event boss here. Unluckily, we

[03:12] did not get the mount now, either. I am hunting this mount on this character every day, like once every day. We both get some XP, and we have a chance to get that beautiful mount that I really want to get. But, no luck, of course. We're

[03:25] once again back in Winterspring for some thorium gathering, getting those arcane crystals. Thorium ore is really good, but also, this mob here, the quest mob, is the one that I talked about that has a 100% chance of dropping the winterfall

[03:39] firewater. And that firewater seems to be selling quite decent. However, it's not that much firewater, sadly. It's only between like 50 to 80 gold. Every time I swing by, I definitely kill it for some extra gold. I guess you can

[03:51] kind of AFK camp it cuz it seems to respawn pretty quickly, but it's not like it's going to end up in a good enough gold for it to be worth it. But at least every time I swing by here this camp, I kill it for an easy fire water.

[04:03] on the auction house. So, I'm sad that we can't like more effectively farm it. A while back, I tried to farm the furbolgs. It was so rare to get them, so I could not really get any like I killed so many of them and I only got like so

[04:17] little, so it wasn't really worth sadly. It would have been a nice like farm if we could farm those fire waters since they're selling so good. But I don't think we are going to be lucky enough to find a farm where it's actually

[04:29] efficient. Back in Stormwind and we are melting our mithril ores into mithril bars so that we can make our unstable triggers because they have been so really happy about that cuz I really think it was worth leveling engineering

[04:43] herbalism just we can get some crafting. But I also think that I should utilize more later on over the next episode maybe to convert some ore into bars passively because right now I've been mostly been doing the unstable triggers.

[04:57] But I think it's good if we diversify a bit as well cuz you can usually make some profit like copper ore to copper bar, silver ore to silver bar, mithril ore to mithril bar, thorium ore to thorium bar, etc. Like there's usually a

[05:09] little bit of a margin since it takes time to craft. We can't get too many of going to be stuck with them forever. But so far it's fine. We only have 166 here, so that's no problem. I decided to try to run Wailing Caverns just for some

[05:25] gear and for some green BEWs basically that we can sell on the auction house. I ran it here about three times and I actually got quite good gear upgrades. gear since we barely have done any questing or anything. I'm not really

[05:40] for either, but I think it's a little bit fun to gear the character at least a little bit. I equipped everything that I got from the bosses that gave me some upgrades to gear and I actually got a tier set from this dungeon that you can

[05:52] get, which is a little bit funny. But, of course, also we dropped some greens and some stuff, but we weren't really particularly lucky with getting anything good sadly to sell. But, it still was fun and it was nice to try. I think I

[06:05] did run three runs, but not too much luck sadly. And we're back in the Midsummer event boss and I just have to kill it every single day. But, we are just not lucky enough, so we did not

[06:20] drop any mount here either sadly. Back on the auction house, I post up everything that we get on the auction house even if it doesn't have a great selling profile that I made here just to

[06:32] like sell everything super duper cheap so that people will buy it like to make a profit out of it because since we're doing a challenge, we can't wait months to sell green items. We have to sell it now to realize the gold. So, I

[06:45] really, really cheap and hopefully we will see a lot of green sales. Like, in my experience, if you post it very cheap enough, flippers buy them up. Flippers like myself, like if I were to find items like this, potentially, I would

[06:59] buy them normally like if they are good items to flip. At least worth for me to post them up cheap, so hopefully we can get some sales and that adds up. But, we about the deposit fees, but I think it's pretty fine for us here at least. When

[07:12] we did Wailing Caverns, we were actually quite lucky because we found the recipe quite lucky because we found the recipe for the Deviate Delight, which turn us in to like a pirate or like a ninja thingy. It's like a cosmetic food or not

[07:27] food, but it's like a consumable that you can craft with cooking. So, I decided here to go ham and level up cooking to the required skill of 85 so we could learn the recipe. And when we did that, I checked the auction house

[07:42] for prices of the fish that is required to create this, it was about 50 gold a pop. And I was like, what the hell is 50 gold a pop for this fish? It's quite easy to fish. And like, this can actually be a good gold farm if we just

[07:55] go and fish the fish that is required for this food or required for this craft to like buy the fish, craft it, and make a tiny bit of profit per craft. But they seem to be like fairly the same price, the fish and the consumable. So I was

[08:09] like, okay, we can just fish the fish and craft it into this and sell it finished product sell faster than the fish. Cuz otherwise you could just sell the fish raw, but the finished product actually seems to be selling faster. So

[08:22] I was thinking like we can go and fish this fish, 50 gold per fish. That's pretty insane for being a classic fish. I took the opportunity to try it out and we went immediately to the Barrens. And this is where you can fish this fish.

[08:34] It's pools that you have to fish to find it, but there is a little bit of a nice trick here. This little pool can have these schools of fish or whatever you say. So you have a chance to spawn this school inside of this pool, and whenever

[08:48] they don't spawn in this one, it spawns in the other one that is just next to it. So it's always one up in either one here. So it's very short flight. It's not up in the small one, it's going to be one up in the bigger one. It's very

[09:04] efficient. And I was actually able to get upwards of 10k or even a little bit more I think if you actually focus and fish per hour fishing this fish. I haven't done it too many hours yet, but it is such a great farm for being like

[09:19] this. I was so happy that we found this just because that recipe dropped. So I was fishing like a maniac here, and I crafted every single fish I got into the Deviate Delight consumable, and it sold so quickly on the auction house. Like I

[09:35] don't understand. Like I think I posted it up and the next day when I wake up, every single one of those sold them sold. And I think we had like 160 or good and I was so happy. And that is definitely something that we're going to

[09:48] that was so easy gold. So, I'm really happy about that. We are in Silithus because I got recommended from a person in chat that if you kill the Twilight's here, you can turn in the papers that they drop or whatever they are called

[10:02] and you get mailed like cashes that have a chance to have recipes in them. So, I to Silithus and I killed them and I did some quests to unlock that NPC in the cave. However, when I turned in the notes, I did not receive anything to the

[10:17] mail. So, I thought this was a bugged, but apparently, it got sent to me the day after. I'm not fully sure how it works, but like the day after, I got those cashes in the mail. And as we will see a little bit later here, I would

[10:31] That was really strange and I was like farming these Twilights to get those notes and we turned it in. It wasn't like a super good gold farm, but at least we was fun to try something else and you have to have RNG in those boxes

[10:45] worth like thousands and thousands of gold, but most of the time you get like those scrolls that is worth like copper to the vendor. So, yeah, it's a little bit of a like RNG farm, but it was fun to try out. And this also led me to find

[10:59] another gold farm. Of course, we jumped in to a midsummer run and we got this scythe, but we didn't get any mount now either. But what I realized here when we were in Silithus is that I know that back in the days, like I've been trying

[11:14] to kill some elementals here or whatever they are, gusts or wind stuff. They can drop like materials that you can sell on the auction house. They are quite worthy. I decided to take a swing and kill them and get some materials. And

[11:27] also you drop green items that can have a good value on the auction house. So, I decided to clear out all of these elementals, and when I cleared out all of the elementals, I also took all the thorium that I could see around this

[11:39] arcane crystals and stuff. But, when I killed all of the elementals, I went back to the Twilight Post thingy and killed the Twilight mobs for those notes again and also for green drops. Because how the loot is working right now is

[11:55] really strange. But, in open world, if you kill the same mob for like more than everything on the world drop table. You have to change mob type here and there to be able to continuously farm like green items. Switching mob type here is

[12:09] kind of a strategy. So, we kill the Twilight mobs for both the notes and for something or when we cleared out the camps, we go to the elementals, clear them out, and rinse and repeat. And this was actually working pretty decent. We

[12:23] get some nice materials from the like elemental steady gold. We also get some steady notes from the Twilight mobs. That's also is kind of steady gold cuz too for like seven gold piece. But, we uh we use them for the RNG thing turn in

[12:37] get the green items, which is really nice cuz I was actually quite luckier in getting many valuable items that I'm able to sell for cheap on the auction house later on. So, I'm really happy about this farm. It's not nothing like

[12:50] game breaking or revolutionary, but it was fun to like do such a thing and find this just randomly by trying it. So, we might try it out more, but I did it for quite some time here back and forth, and I really really enjoyed it actually. And

[13:03] get to the auction house to hopefully open them and see if we can get something of a value.

[13:19] Twilight text. I'm not sure. I don't think this is worth anything. Yeah, it's just a bunch of scrolls that we're getting.

[13:32] Scrolls. Scrolls.

[13:49] Okay, we actually got a recipe. That's amazing. It has 4,999 going to drop for cheap on the auction house and definitely get sold. I hope at house and definitely get sold. I hope at least, but I think so.

[14:05] going to be completely bust, but since we got that recipe for 4,000 gold, that's just amazing. I think Please give me the mount. Please give me the mount. Please, please, please.

[14:25] right now is opening the mailbox and see how much we're going to end up with in actually going to open up these four clippings here and or the satchels to see what we get. That's just trash, trash, trash, and trash. Yeah, so we all

[14:41] got all of these scrolls, which is unlucky. But, yeah, as you can see here, we got the dark rune helm earlier, which is really nice. Let me just post up everything here so we get a cleaner bag. The first 100 auctions is showing 68,000

[14:55] gold, which is really, really nice. But, we have something to talk about here as triggers. As you can see, we sold the 3,002 here, but we only got 33,600 gold. And this I actually purchased the mats for when I was like AFK crafting. And I

[15:10] do think that we actually lost some gold here. I took a very bad decision and I them because I knew that I wasn't able to play for like a little bit and I that I had to craft to make some gold. and I over invested, and we had so many. And

[15:24] like, I need to sell them because otherwise we won't have anything to show in the mailbox, and I don't want to it to go further down. I decided let's freaking try to sell them, and I was lucky enough to sell them at least for

[15:37] 33,000 gold here. I'm happy about it, but yeah, I spent basically a lot of time crafting them for a loss, I think. It It turned out being a loss. It was It It turned out being a loss. It was worth like, I think I think 45,000 or

[15:49] now it dropped down, as you can see, to this. And it's not our best choice, get out of it at least. But let's forget about that one now, but what I'm just over crafting like that ever again. We're going to craft a few. We can't

[16:04] craft 3,000 of it and then wait for a shark to come and buy everything. Like, if they don't buy it, 3,000 is very hard to sell. So, let's not craft that many lower amount. But if we're looking at everything else here, it's really really

[16:18] good. Here we can see a pattern Ruined Stygian Boots, Peerless Leggings of the these are items that we dropped when we farmed. And as I said, we are able to sell them because we are posting them so so cheap compared to what they're

[16:32] actually worth. So, I'm basing the sales off of sale average price source of what the item is on average selling for, and if we sell it too cheap compared to that, flippers will come in and buy it because then they know that they can buy

[16:46] it and sell it for more later for a good profit. So, we're kind of using that something I only do when I have a time limit, like I need sales now for this can just vendor them because they're not going to sell within the time period of

[17:00] this challenge if we don't sell them quick. It's really nice to do sometimes, nothing like that I regularly do, but I do it if we have to get quick sales. So, see here, there are a lot of green selling here, but it's just low gold

[17:14] here, 30, 48, 50. But it adds up. It adds up a lot in the end. That's not bad at all. Here we have some Elemental Air from the Elementals in Silithus. Breath of Wind, which also is from Silithus. Not bad at all. As you can see, they're

[17:27] really good. Bloodlust Gauntlets, that's from Silithus, from one of the green drops as well. 1,200 gold, that's like a lot for one item. And here is just more, more like low sales, which stacks up. Some Breath of Wind from the Elementals

[17:43] once again. And Peerless Boots, Warleader Greaves, again green items, Glorious Shoulders, 1,000 gold, Bloodlust Britches, 700 basically. Like adds up. And this is a pattern as well that we got from those RNG boxes that we

[17:58] just opened. 2.1k, so really, really good. Really, really good. And here Highborn Spire is also a green BoE item from Silithus. And Iron Hide Greaves. So, of course we spend a lot of time farming, and it's not like a great gold

[18:13] per hour. It's still really nice to see those sales coming in. And here we have Savory Deviate Delight. This is the cooking stuff that I was talking about earlier in the video. This craft here basically. As you can see, it's barely a

[18:25] profit or not even a profit to craft it. But, since we farmed the mats, we basically convert it just because these seem to be selling faster actually finished product here. Savory Deviate Delight seem to be selling faster than

[18:38] them. Otherwise, it's no idea to convert them. Really good. 5,000 gold. Here also Lofty Shoulders, 600 gold. Here we have the 159 that I was talking about as well of the fishing. I did some more fishing again to sell up here. But, here we have

[18:52] the 159 initial ones. And then also here we did some good service for the game as well, reporting someone that actually got banned. So, that we love to see. have Ceremonial Leather Loincloth, actually from a random mob that we

[19:05] killed over in the Barrens when I was on my way there fishing or something, I think. And we got the Ceremonial Leather Loincloth and it sold for 2K. That's first 100 auctions here and see what's hiding in the last 43.

[19:26] 4.4K. And as you can see, this is like a week ago. This is right after I finished the last episode. So this is more when we we weren't as warm in the game or Yeah, here we sold some savory deviate 18 as well. Solid blasting powder,

[19:42] ancestral gloves, really good. So really happy about this. Ceremonial leather ankle guards, Arcanite Crystal. So 4.4K in this mailbox. Let's open up that one.

[19:58] gold. And we have 73,454 gold now, which is absolutely amazing, progress after this episode. And I do think that we're going to be able to progress a lot in the next one as well. So I'm really, really happy. If you want
