From Zero to WoW Token in Vanilla Zones Only Part 4

[00:01] absolutely zero all the way up to being able to purchase a WoW Token by only farming gold in vanilla content. In the previous episode, we made it to about 120k gold, but in this episode, I hope that we're going to be able to make it

[00:15] all the way up to an actual WoW Token and finish this challenge. We're going just want to say that I have done a lot of recording and stuff from my laptop for this episode because I've not been able to sit at my regular PC. So, if

[00:28] there is a little bit worse quality than usually, it's because of that. And also, I might be having a little bit less footage than normally. But, let's get Scholomance in Western Plaguelands because we are going to be farming the

[00:41] dark runes and Essence of Undeath. However, we're going to do it in the old Scholomance version. Basically, there are two different versions. There is one that you unlocks by doing some kind of a quest line that also later on unlock the

[00:55] Naxxramas kind of old version. It's like kind of a secret quest line or whatever. to call it, but I have all of this unlocked, so we're able to farm this. So, basically, we go into Scholomance and we we just run it and farm it as

[01:10] much as possible. And And to make gold for this episode, I farmed this a lot. And that was because I found it pretty enjoyable. And one thing that makes it even better is that when you kill a boss, you get a token, and that token

[01:24] you can eventually turn in in the Naxxramas raid to kind of a like cash item or whatever we call it that can drop any item from vanilla. So, basically, when we open that cash, we get a random drop. And it can also

[01:38] contain something called lamented gear, and those pieces are used to craft the tier three transmog sets, and those are worth about 100k each. But, of course, they're not that easy to get. It's not something that we will just do and get,

[01:51] but we can always hope to get it cuz you never know if we're lucky enough. But, at least it's enjoyable. So, this was a great farm for me. Now, and I really, really do enjoy it. From this farm, we can expect about 7K gold per hour with

[02:05] the current prices I had here running on this character. That is not taking the Naxxramas loot cashes into account. Those will add up an average gold per hour of probably a couple of more thousand per hour. It's hard to say cuz,

[02:19] those items, of course, cuz most of the time you just get trash that you recommend if you want to try something out and have some fun. Do check out that secret quest line to Naxxramas unlock and Skull Old Skull ones unlock. You can

[02:34] probably just Google it to find a guide on how to do it. I remember I did it like on stream. I just followed some Wowhead guide. So, as you can see here, we're going into uh Naxxramas, and in Naxxramas, we can see this NPC here.

[02:48] He's called Saket Skullsmash. He's a part of the unlock, so he won't be there until you have unlocked him. But, as we can see from this NPC is that he sells a lot of different items. And what we will be buying is the Dented Raider's Item.

[03:01] You can buy like a random recipes and stuff here, but for me, it's more fun to buy the Dented Items because there you can get those high-end items that is really worth a lot. You can even get like super duper rare items that you

[03:15] Uldaman and stuff. You can get them here as well. For example, the Papalefes, if rare items worth a lot of gold. You can get them here, but of course, it's super cuz we're going to be turning in this later when we have a option to do some

[03:30] more of them at a time because currently, we don't have so much. So, we swapped to disenchanting in the last episode, and it is really, really paying off. This is something that has made me so much gold as well during this video

[03:44] because I am basically disenchanting everything right now. Almost nothing gets posted anymore on the auction house in terms of greens because those greater eternal essence that you can get give such a high disenchant value. It's

[03:57] almost always close disenchant value compared to what they are posted on the something good, we post it, but most of the time we just disenchant it for the chance of getting the greater eternal essences and I have sold like thousands

[04:10] during this time because yeah, I disenchanted everything. So much to good gold. So that I can recommend if you do this challenge. It's like super you get because you get the greater eternal essences from these farms. I did

[04:23] get an epic the dazzling longsword. However, the sale average on that one was just about 4,000 gold. So we're going to post it up for about two two to 3,000. So nothing special about that one for me because I just wanted it sold

[04:37] instantly. We got it in Scholomance, but I lost the footage of it somewhere. I think I got it on stream, so maybe I forgot to record that part. But yeah, we sold this one for two or 3,000 gold. We'll probably see it in the mailbox

[04:50] later, but nothing too special, but at least you can get those items there that sell this item for more. It's just a matter of I can't be waiting for the high income because we got to get our gold now. And then once again, as I said

[05:03] earlier, I got addicted to running Scholomance. So I've just been running it running it running it so many runs I can't even count. Then what I decided to do before the lockout was to go ahead and run the actual Naxxramas raid as

[05:17] Naxxramas, you get another type of token. Three of those tokens converts to one of those dented pieces that I was talking about. So basically three bosses converts to one of those items and there are 15 bosses, so you basically get five

[05:32] boxes by clearing Naxxramas one time. And you can only do it one time per reset because yeah, it's a raid, but we did do all of it and that was really amazing cuz then we're going to be able to open additional five of those RNG

[05:44] to open additional five of those RNG boxes. There are quite some RP in this raid, however, that takes some time, so so not that enjoyable when you have to wait for Kel'Thuzad for like five minutes, but yeah, what do you do? What

[05:56] do you do for some gold coins? But then I ran back here to sack it and I decided to buy the dented headpiece here, the dented helmet, because that one can contain some nice items, as I said, like the Papal Fez, the miner's hat, and so

[06:11] on, and of course the lamented piece. I don't know why I like for the helmet here, but I just do. I That's the one that I've done mostly overall. And here we managed to rake in a total of eight of those items, converting all of our

[06:23] Scholomance tokens and also the tokens from running Naxxramas. So, let's see if from running Naxxramas. So, let's see if we are any lucky opening these caches. First one, we got the Blood Forged Helmet. That is a very unlucky. That's a

[06:36] really, really bad one. Second one, we got a Nocturnal Cap. Really bad, as well. Third one, we got a War Leader's Crown. Also really, really bad. Then we got a Glorious Headpiece here. Not too bad, but not the best, either. Then some

[06:52] random formidable circlet here, really bad. The Jousters Visor, and also one of these phylactery weave. Those are used to craft the tier three items, and they cannot be sold, so they have basically zero value for me in this case. And the

[07:06] last one gave us another random helmet. That was really, really bad. So, really unlucky opening right there, but we're going to have another one coming in really, really soon. I actually decided to take a decision here, and that was to

[07:20] drop mining, because I thought it was time to try something else, and I really was in the grind set here that I wanted to try out some farms. So, I decided to go and unlearn mining, and we went to learn skinning instead, because there

[07:34] are some skinning farms that are quite okay here. So, I jumped on the bird immediately and headed to Swamp of Sorrows, and here we are killing the turtles. Basically, what I do here is just killing the turtles over and over

[07:47] and over again. And what we eventually get is turtle scale, thick leather, and rugged leather. Whenever we skill up our skinning, we get some random rewards along the way. So, until you get higher skinning, you get those random skins as

[08:01] well. But this one, it's not a super duper good farm, either. It's like a 6 to 8 K gold per hour, maybe. But it's also, for some reason, a farm that I find quite chill and enjoyable to do. So, I did this for also quite a few

[08:14] hours in this challenge, which I found like very relaxing because I could do something else at the same time, just running around here killing the turtles and skinning them. Okay, but it is time to open our first mailbox in this

[08:27] episode. We're going to have another one later, but we have to know how much we are missing for the token. So, as we can see here in the first one, we have 77,000 gold. That is a lot. 138 mails in total,

[08:44] and 77,000 in the first 100 auctions here. And basically, what we have sold a lot of, and it's going to be coming back over and over again, is going to be the Essence of Undeath, the Dark Runes, the Rugged Leather, the Thick Leather, and

[09:01] the Greater Eternal Essences. Those are going to be the main items, because that is what we have been getting mostly of, because I've been grinding out those items a lot. As we can see here as well, we sold the Malefic Bracers. This is an

[09:15] Scholomance. I didn't even notice it. I think it's pretty rare. It's bracers, however, but I posted them for really, really cheap compared to the cheapest ones on the region. We got a sale here for 19,000 gold. That is really, really

[09:30] super happy about that sale. We also sold some Deviate Fish and the Deviate Food. Luckily, most of it in this video was before the classic time walking came around. If you're watching in this when

[09:43] the classic time walking is out, you can actually buy Deviate Fish from the time walking vendor with the time walking badges. So, they have dropped in price a lot. So, luckily I was able to sell them quite a lot before that, but now when

[09:56] the time walking is out, it's going to be way, way worse for a good while until the price goes up again, which I hope it does sometime. And in the last 38 mails here, we have 38,000 gold and it's basically the same items looking here.

[10:10] We have a lot of random sales here, green items and whatnot, but it's basically the same items. The Savory Deviate Delight, some mines here still. I see some enchanted thorium bar and stuff, but yeah, mostly the good old

[10:25] stuff that we're going to be selling here mainly. And when we have opened up all of the mails here, we have a total of 231,000 gold. So, we're missing about 150k because the token, when I looked last

[10:39] time, was 369k and I think that is what we're going to go for. We are missing about 150, 140k and hopefully we will be able to make that very soon. Okay, we're back in Naxxramas once again cuz it is a new reset and I'm clearing the entire

[10:55] thing out again for those 15 tokens so we can buy the dented items to try to we actually have nine of them, so let's see if we can get something good this time. We start out with a Geomancer's Cap and as we can see here, unluckily,

[11:11] we are getting absolutely trash. So, that is so unfortunate. We're getting nothing with any kind of value, so that was a real disaster, but still I do enjoy it and I still think it is really, really fun to do these kind of boxes.

[11:27] We're back forming the turtles again over and over and over again getting those skins coming in. And as I said earlier, I really do think this farm is special for me. I'm not really sure why, but I just turn on some like YouTube

[11:41] video and fly around, kill, and skin, and I can do it for quite a long time when I'm really in the grind set. Here I decided to go to Sunken Temple, which is the dungeon that is located in Swamp of Sorrows. And this one is like a really

[11:55] small dungeon and really, really quick to do. So, what we do here is running a large circle, pulling everything that we can see. I do this like the very quick run. I don't bother to go for any bosses or or like a long way in to get a lot of

[12:09] and pulling pretty much everything that I can see, a large pack of mobs, putting them like into this little corner here, so they get lost because they cast spells, and I just nuke them down, and it's a large pile to just skin for the

[12:24] rugged and thick leather and all the dragon scales and stuff. And this is a dragon scales and stuff. And this is a farm that I also find quite easy and enjoyable to do. I've done this so much. However, I've been so unlucky with the

[12:36] drops here. Like you can get good items in this dungeon, like that transmog gold, but I was so unlucky. I didn't get a crap, and I spent a lot of time in but at least we made a lot of rugged and thick leather. Overall, that was

[12:51] amazing. These elementals are located in Stranglethorn Vale on a little island, and they can drop the essence of water, and they have quite a good value, around 100 usually. This farm is not the best to do solo, but we are doing a solo

[13:06] challenge, so why not try it? Basically, what we're after here is the essence of water, but you can also get two type of pets here, a parrot and a raptor. They have a value of a few thousand gold at least if I quick sell them, so that you

[13:19] can always hope for, but unlucky with that, didn't get any. But I grinded it this out for quite a bit as well. However, this is not my favorite farm to do, especially not when solo. So, don't really recommend this one, but I did do

[13:32] it for quite a while just because I want to like diversify and do different stuff. Like it's not the funniest to be at the same place all the time farming, right? So, I spent a few hours here as well and that was worth it, I guess. We

[13:44] made some gold, but we could have been better spent somewhere else. I also made it to Corin's Crossing here in Eastern Plaguelands where we kill a bunch of undead mobs and also those little spellcasters here. These farm is

[13:58] basically just Essence of Undeath and also the dark runes that we can get here. It's like farming Scholomance, but you do it here in open world. You here, I think, per hour, but it eliminates the option to get those

[14:12] is a little bit boring. But, this one I also spent quite some time at and this one I have been farming a lot in the past as well, like with groups cuz in farming, once again, it's not the best. Uh we're going to look at my total

[14:26] overall gold per hour here soon, but it is not the absolute best here to farm as well. I've been grinding out stuff just to try to push this to finish line and I'm happy because we're going to look at the mailbox right now and I do

[14:41] think that we might have made enough to buy the WoW token. So, as of recording buy the WoW token. So, as of recording this, the WoW token is 369,200 this, the WoW token is 369,200 gold. So, we need about 137K

[14:54] to be able to finish this. And to not spoil anything, I'm going to use this mailbox this time, but as we can see here, most of the sales is just thick leather, Essence of Undeath, Greater Eternal Essence, rugged leather, Essence

[15:08] of Undeath, dark runes, and golden pearls. I also did a little bit of the clams. You get clams from both the turtles, but there are also some murlocs Sorrows. So, a lot of different farms in Swamp of Sorrows, actually. But, that

[15:23] two there. And as we can see in the mailbox, it's overall dark runes, Essence of Undeath, some Arcane Crystals that I had left. Like, look at this. Sadly, we got crap price for this Deviate Fish. It's 1,800 gold for 100 of

[15:38] them. That is yucky yuck. This is after the classic time walking. We also sell some clams raw here. Basically, that's the one that you can get from farming the turtles. Some items just selling for basically slightly above disenchant

[15:53] be better to disenchant them. But, yeah. As we can see, this is the main items of our mailbox. There is like nothing special, really. It's mostly just those

[16:05] items. Here we have some Warbear Leather as well. This farm I did not record, but basically it's skinning in Blasted Lands. You're skinning some bears, and you can get the Warbear Leather. It's an okay farm as well. Not the best in terms

[16:18] of gold per hour, either. But, it's pretty enjoyable for a while, I would say. But, yes. As you can see, a lot of it. And we're going to open the mailbox it. And we're going to open the mailbox now and see if we make to 369,200

[16:30] now and see if we make to 369,200 gold. Let's see. easily. 377,000 gold we have in total. So, we even

[16:44] gold we have in total. So, we even crushed it with a total of 145,000 gold in that mailbox. Holy That's a lot of gold. So, we're officially finally made it to the WoW Token, which is really, really nice. I'm probably not

[16:57] moment, cuz I have some game time and some tokens laying around. At least we made enough gold that we can add to our total, which is really, really amazing.
