How Heroic World Tier Works in 12.0.7! Saturday WoW News

[00:00] Hi, I'm Hazel. It's Saturday today, which makes it time to sit down and catch up on what's going on in WoW this week. This week we found out when we can expect patch 12.0.7. The next

[00:13] patch is coming to WoW June the 16th, that is less than two weeks away, it's right around the corner. I will link the full patch notes in the description if you want to scroll through and have a look at everything that's going on. Today I want to highlight the three things coming in 1207 that

[00:27] I am most excited to personally play. First up is the new Raid Sporefall. We're going to be fighting the new fungal boss, Rotmire. I tested this one out in the PTR. It's a fun fight. It's fairly straightforward. I don't think it's going to ruin lives unless they tune it super tight for some

[00:44] reason. I'm excited to do this just because I'm pretty wrapped up with raiding at this point of the season and it'll be fun to have a new boss to play around with. And also because I am very much in my fungus-hating era, so it'll be fun to go beat up some digital fungus to, you know, help me

[01:00] live out my dreams. The second thing that I'm excited about is Turbulent Timeways starts in 1207, although it'll be a little bit back from the patch release. So patch releases June 16th, Turbulent Timeways begins June the 30th, week of June the 30th, so kind of towards the end of the

[01:14] month. That is going to introduce Dragonflight Timewalking to the Timewalking Pool. These are of the six Dragonflight timewalking dungeons we're going to get, and that will be the first timewalking available.

[01:26] You'll also be able to get your Master of the Timeways buff in as little as four weeks this time. You will only need four stacks of the buff in order to get Master of the Timeways and get the associated mount which this time is the spawn of Virenoth I seen lots of people excited about this it a cool looking mount

[01:41] and should not take as long as it has historically in the past to get the Turbulent Timeways mount. I think that Dragonflight Timewalking is going to be a good blast from the past. We've been enjoying Algathar Academy, but we'll be able to continue to enjoy it in Timewalking,

[01:56] And I think that Ruby Life Pools and Brackenhide Hollow are both going to shock me with memories of the past. The third thing that I'm excited to try out in 1207 is Heroic World Tier, or whatever they're calling it this time.

[02:11] But it's sort of built on what we played with Heroic World Tier in Legion Remix. This time it's basically a heroic difficulty option for the new world content. So there will be a rotating, like, invasion world that we're going to be able to go to.

[02:26] So in a given week, you'll be going to either Nagtal or Val. And you can choose to enter this new world on either Normal or Heroic difficulty, and you'll be phased into one of those two difficulties over there. That's going to affect the difficulty of everything you're doing, from world bosses to world quests,

[02:42] and it's going to change your rewards a little bit. So doing them on Heroic difficulty is going to give you Hero Track gear from the world boss, up from Champion on Normal. The loot from rares on hero difficulty is going to be championed 4 out of 6,

[02:55] up from 1 out of 6 in normal, so that will save you some upgrade crests. And you will get more field accolades for your efforts if you choose to brave heroic difficulty of these new worlds. I think this is a fine idea and should give some open world people a little bit of content to progress through option to kind of kick things up a little bit in order to get better rewards I think sometimes that open world patch content can sort of fade into the background

[03:20] or seem kind of boring because of a lack of challenge by default, so it'll be interesting to see if it feels a little bit more interesting and exciting, even for geared up players or their mains. I think that ritual sites did pretty well on that,

[03:34] And on that note, there's actually going to be a sixth difficulty to ritual site in 1207, so there's more of that coming. But I think that ritual sites could have very easily been really, really easy, and therefore not very fun.

[03:46] But doing a ritual site for the achievements on tier 5 with all of the difficulties up, it's doable, but it's going to take you a second. There's some stuff going on there. I think they did a good job of adding challenge to the world content things without making them just insanely frustrating.

[04:00] Those are not the only things coming in 1207. There's lots of other stuff. The Omnium Folio, which I talked about last week, is going to be in this patch, and that should help with a nice boost of power for your end-of-season goals, and also a nice boost of power for the rest of Midnight, because I guess we're keeping it.

[04:14] Lots of stuff to look forward to. As far as what I've been up to, I, in WoW this week, got my 3400 IO. I did it on my Holy Priest main, Healing Keys as Holy, which was a little sticky at 16s,

[04:28] but we got it done. I, for my saddle, picked the purple shredder tank I think they call it the speculative shredder tank mount This one stood out to me the most in the vendor So that's what I'm flying around I loved this achievement

[04:41] It was so fun to have an extra stretch goal to work towards after 3k That felt manageable but definitely took some work it kept i think most of my friends playing longer than we normally would have been um without making it seem just

[04:56] like completely out of reach it was really cool i'm happy with that and excited to try it again in future seasons and then in my personal life this week something that i have been busy with in my home is apparently both of my new kittens and now myself have ringworm, which is not great.

[05:19] So we've been to the vet. We have a plan. The cats are in quarantine jail. I'm in cleaning jail. We've been like really trying to decontaminate because they were all over the house before we

[05:32] found out. And I've learned an awful lot about ringworm, which it turns out is not a worm. Fun fact, it's a fungus, thus me being in my fungus hater era. I will learn to love mushrooms again

[05:45] one day, but this particular fungus is not my friend. On the bright side, I am definitely staying busy and my house is getting very, very clean. And that has been the week. Thank you very
