[00:02] tell you how I started working from home. Nine years ago I was an exploited and unsupported immigrant, which is not the same thing. Today I own several digital businesses, but it all started with one that if I had to start from

[00:18] scratch today, I would choose it again without hesitation. I started on a giant marketplace and although I was earning very good money, I lived with the constant fear that a customer's lie or a change in the platform's policies would cause me to lose my

[00:32] income overnight. There came a point where I really couldn't stand that pressure anymore, and then I decided to create my own online store, of course. While many people had a hard time during the COVID pandemic,

[00:45] thanks to my store I earned my best income. Many say they don't work, but that's because they create them and leave them abandoned, hoping that customers will magically appear. But by

[00:57] learning and applying the techniques or system that I saw the biggest ones implementing, by a little over the second month, I had already surpassed the $100 that I earned in the marketplace. That's why you should always test something before

[01:12] saying it doesn't work. How did I do it ? using two systems that few or no one explains. One is ideal for those who want to try without investing a single dollar in merchandise, and the other, my favorite, is for attracting waves of customers without

[01:27] paying for advertising. Today I'm going to explain the logic behind these systems and how you can replicate this model from scratch, even if you know nothing about technology. Stay until the end because you'll leave with the exact guide to create your own

[01:40] digital business. This was my first online store and I keep it as a memento of my beginnings and what I was able to do with the little I knew back then. Many of these products were not

[01:55] available and were handled under the triangulation shipping system. I will explain more about this later. Although it is a simple page, it is functional. If I go to a product, then from here customers can

[02:08] place the order and pay just like in any reputable store. As you can see, the images are not professional; I took them myself of the products, since at that time there were no facilities to work professionally like there are

[02:20] today with Nano Banana. However, I did manage to make it peace of mind of not depending solely on MercadoLibre and other marketplaces I was

[02:33] working with at that time. However, it wasn't that he completely abandoned MercadoLibre. I used it to my advantage to create a sales ecosystem, as I saw the largest and most successful stores doing, and it worked for me. That said, let's get

[02:47] to work so you can leave here with your own business already set up. So, there are several platforms for creating an online store. For this tutorial, I chose Tienda Nube because I think it's one of the most intuitive, ideal for

[03:00] people starting from scratch. To follow along step by step with me, you can register using the link I left in the description store. Okay, now that you're in Tienda Nube, the first thing to do is enter the

[03:15] store name, and here's my crucial tip to help you bring free customers to your store later on. Apply the technique of Latina moms of combining several names instead of using a common name. For example, I

[03:29] will be using Vela Rom Serena, since it will be a candle shop. Anyway, you can change this name later, but follow the advice to use a combination. Ready. Now you need to add your

[03:43] email address and create a password. Write this information down in a small notebook and then click on create store. This section asks for your name and phone number. Okay. And then here I select that I will be creating an online store and

[03:59] click on continue. This section asks if you are already selling, so answer according to your current situation. Now ask yourself, what So, I'm going to check these first two boxes and then click on go

[04:13] to the store. Now we've reached the cloud store control panel to create the store, but first we need to confirm the account via email. I already did it. Now, to be clear, beyond just creating a page

[04:28] and uploading products to make an online store functional, platforms like Tienda Nube integrate the entire system for selling, processing payments, shipping, order management, all from one place. Now we're going to create the store.

[04:43] There are different themes or templates and they are classified by categories. For example, I'm going to work, as I was saying, with a candle shop. So I go to the home category and I like the Morelia theme, which is a

[04:57] the theme has been selected, we can begin to modify it. So, on this left side we have the guide to changes that can be made. I'll start with the brand's colors. They can be

[05:10] selected from the color picker. You can experiment here, but honestly, I do n't recommend this option because it wo n't look good if you're not good at mixing colors. What I do recommend is that from now on,

[05:24] Chat GPT be our ally. I described to Chat GPT what my store will be like, and taking into account the background color of the template I chose, which I want to keep, it will tell me what colors to use to have the same

[05:37] color palette in the same range or tones. These were the color codes he suggested to me. So, I'm going to set the text color and the accent color, which will be this olive green. This would be the color that will be used

[05:51] to highlight important text. Next, we move on to the sources of titles and texts. I'll stick with the pre-selected one for now, but you can see that there are obviously many types of fonts and you can also adjust the

[06:05] size of the letters, but this can also be modified later. For now, it will stay like this. It's important to publish the changes so they are reflected. Okay, let's continue with the header, which is this first part

[06:19] here where the menu and logo go. In this part they already talk about the logo. The logo is loaded from the control panel, so it's something from this X here. And on this side we uploaded the logo. So they're asking us for two sizes here. They are

[06:35] charge them. Once I have them loaded, I can go back to editing the store. So now I can select the logo size in the header . It's always better if it's big so it looks good. And I save the

[06:50] changes. It's very important to keep checking how the changes are turning out. So I'm going to do it from my cell phone first. And look at this super important fact that Tienda Nube gives: 70% of sales are made through

[07:04] mobile devices. In this case, it looks good on both devices. We are continuing to give structure to the store and now we need to complete all these sections by adding images. Images can be created in Nano

[07:18] Banana or improved if you have images of your video that will appear here, I showed you how to create and improve images in Nano Banana, so go and watch it after you have finished watching this video.

[07:32] Okay, moving on, we need to complete all these sections, right? And this is done from the home page, starting with the image and text module. So, here I'll add the first image of the candles. Note that it suggests what

[07:45] the measurement should be. I made these, as I said, in a nano banana. Then, once the image is loaded, the product description is added from this little brush, first by putting a title that I will be bringing you from Chat GPT. And now I'll

[07:59] add the description. Behind the scenes, I followed the same process to add the second page. And that's how this section turned out. We continue with the featured products section, but in order for products to appear here we have to

[08:13] return to the main Tienda Nube panel and from here we search for products to start uploading them. So we click on add product. As you know, this is an example store I'm creating , but I want to give you some tips

[08:27] that will be very useful from the start. From the beginning, it's important to work on the titles well using keywords. In other words, think about how a person would search for candles on the internet, or even better, they can use

[08:41] tools like GPT chat or Google Gemini, which greatly facilitates this process. For example, I described this cedar scented candle to Chat GPT and asked him to give me a catchy title and an optimized description. So I take

[08:55] this title that he gave me and put it here, and I do the same with the description. Now we upload the product image, which is the same process. It is important professional. Now we have to set the price. So we can set a

[09:10] normal price of 20,000 pesos and the promotional price will be 18,000. This helps the product look more attractive. Then the inventory can be limited or unlimited. I recommend leaving it unlimited so you don't have to

[09:24] constantly update the inventory. Then, in this additional information, this part here can be omitted, it is not mandatory to fill it in. In integrations, this part requires a dedicated video. This is to integrate it

[09:37] with Instagram and Google Shopping, which is important because this is what makes products appear here on Google when someone does a search. products, but more than anything, for example, if I have a clothing store, I would

[09:51] have categories for shoes, t- shirts, and caps. So I feel that it's not necessary for this candle shop . In some variations, for this type of store it is used, for example, to classify aromas. So, to

[10:04] say "scent of voice" in SEO is super important because this is what makes the store appear on Google. But you'll see that here we can use But you'll see that here we can use

[10:17] complete the title, keywords, and description. Here you can choose whether the product will have free shipping or not. In this case, for this example of a candle shop, if a candle has a price of 20,000 pesos and shipping costs

[10:29] 10,000, then it's not worth it because it will make the product much more expensive. Free shipping applies mostly to very expensive products. And that's it, this first product is now loaded, so I'll save the change and that's it. I already

[10:42] loaded enough candles behind the camera. Now I'm going back to the store and you can see that the featured products section is now live because the products are appearing here and this is how they look on a cell phone and the size of the photos looks great.

[10:58] this section, which can be used, for example, to show the product manufacturing process or how it enhances the ambiance of places. So I repeated the same process of uploading images and uploaded three. And now this is what they look like. Then

[11:13] in the shipping, payment and purchase information, in this section I will keep the same icons and only modify the titles and descriptions to make them more explanatory. I'm going to do this behind the scenes. I'm going to

[11:28] show you the result here on screen because the process is showing you how to change titles or add images when I've already explained it before. Then in the promotional products section I have these two

[11:42] images that encompass the discounted candle scents. Later in this section I can add a video, for example, of what the candle-making process would be like or how they create ambiance in places. It has to be

[11:55] done by adding a YouTube link as indicated here, but in this case I don't have it, so I'm going to remove this section to move on to the testimonials is suggested by e-commerce platforms, such as Tienda Nube in this case

[12:09] , which already have years of experience and know what works in an online store and what doesn't. In a physical store, these testimonials are displayed to encourage shoppers to leave their opinion about the product. That's what it's for

[12:21] . Then, the testimonials are completed by adding the name, description, or opinion, right?, of the person. And I have an image for each testimony, so I'll add it. And then, well, you know, here behind the

[12:33] scenes I already completed the three testimonies. Of the sections, the only one left to adjust is the social media part , which in this section is to connect

[12:45] posts uploaded to the social network also appear here at once in the store. In this case, since it's just an example, I'm going to disable this section. Now all that remains is to modify the footer, and with

[12:58] GPT chat I made progress and it suggested the tones to use in the code. So brown for the background and I'm keeping the beige for the text. And this main menu that should be at the top and was put here in the footer, well, I'm simply removing it because it doesn't look

[13:14] good. I save the changes and that's it. The footer is now ready. So with this we have now completed all the adjustments that needed to be made to the page. Behind the scenes I made some small tweaks that you only see

[13:27] when the page is finished. And that's because I made the search bar here in the header bigger. I moved the header from the center to the left because I think it looks better. And another adjustment was to change the fonts because the

[13:40] seen the final store, it meets the concept or style I wanted for a candle shop. Now I'm checking that the store looks good on my phone, sales are made through this method. I quite liked the result. This is how it

[13:55] looks in the computer version: images, messages, products, contact section, which I hadn't shown you yet, which is super important for suppliers, so that they can contact you, sorry, suppliers or

[14:09] institutional clients or wholesale clients. Then, if I go to a product, this would be the process that a customer has to follow: they add it to the cart and from the cart they then follow the process until they reach payment. As you can see,

[14:22] this way we have a functional online store . Now, to create a . Now, to create a professional online store, you always have to make an investment to keep the store online. This

[14:34] platform offers this entire sales system in different plans, annual or monthly. To create this tutorial, I searched for discounts from 25% to I searched for discounts from 25% to 50% through my link so you can

[14:49] create your own stores. Now I will explain the two systems I applied to my online store to achieve good results. The first is the triangulation of shipments system. When I started on MercadoLibre I had no money,

[15:03] therefore I had no products. So what I did was something I was taught, which was to go to the factories and talk, saying, eh, if I sell the sheets, you can send them. And many accepted. So, what I did was, well, I

[15:17] already had the sale finalized on MercadoLibre, so I could invest safely, I would send the money to the factory and they would make the shipment. This can be considered manual dropshipping because there is no

[15:30] did this with many other household products, and this allows you to have a wide catalog of products. Then, once I had a good income, the products that I saw were selling more, for example, sheets, I did have them

[15:43] in my case to make the shipment faster. However, I repeat, even with a good income, I continued working with this system to have a wide catalog. Now I'm moving on to the second system, which is bringing

[15:55] customers to the store. This is where the combination of , which I said at the beginning of the video, is especially useful. Because? Well, the idea is to publish the same products that you have in the online store, on

[16:11] , when I started, for example, OLX was also around. So, all the marketplaces, what I learned from the biggest ones is that prices on

[16:23] these marketplaces have to be higher. And what goes in the description of these products is in capital letters in the title, for example, we are the online store of the Rom Serena, we have great discounts. This makes people

[16:37] go to Google and search for the store's name, and that's how they get to the online store. When they arrive at the online store they will see the same product, but cheaper and many people buy it that way. That's how I brought the first customers to my

[16:51] store, and I realized this because I came to the online store of one of these buy a product that I saw much cheaper on MercadoLibre. The other way I also brought many customers to the store, in fact, it gave it a big

[17:04] boost, was through advertising campaigns on Google Ads, which do require investment, but the return on investment is truly effective because many customers arrived, and also because initially you don't have to invest that much

[17:19] money, and nowadays putting together these advertising campaigns is easier because you can rely on Google's artificial intelligence in Gemini to help you create effective campaigns. without investing so much

[17:31] money. This is how, apart from bringing organic traffic from marketplaces or social media, large stores and large companies bring customers to their online stores. This way, which may sound simple but has a lot of

[17:45] work behind it, is how I made my stores successful from the beginning. I hope this explanation has been helpful, that you have understood it, and that you will put it into practice. Access this playlist with more tutorials

[17:57] from home. Goodbye digital entrepreneurs.
