[00:00] what is going on guys today I'm going to

[00:01] be going over how to get paid as a small

[00:04] Creator getting brand deals how to reach

[00:06] out to different brands how to find out

[00:07] who to reach out to how to do it in a

[00:09] professional way where they're more

[00:10] willing to respond to you potentially

[00:12] get paid when I had under 10,000

[00:13] followers on my social media platforms I

[00:15] was still making thousands a month off

[00:17] of brand deals by leveraging these three

[00:18] different things they might seem obvious

[00:20] but 90% of content creators do not do

[00:23] this enough the first than going into it

[00:24] again you should watch the last two

[00:26] videos that I've made you have to learn

[00:27] how to provide value in your content

[00:30] niche-based content build a niche-based

[00:31] community and really be involved with

[00:34] that Community you're not going to be

[00:35] able to get brand deals if the companies

[00:37] that you're trying to reach out to see

[00:38] people not consistently coming back

[00:40] engaging with you you need to be

[00:41] engaging with your audience you need to

[00:42] provide value consistently and make them

[00:44] want to keep coming back little a loyal

[00:45] following now once you do that you need

[00:46] to learn how to Market yourself to

[00:48] Brands and learn how to outreach out to

[00:50] them I had the blessing of having the

[00:52] main brands that I first started working

[00:54] out with back in 2020 they reached out

[00:55] to me Bradley Martin dm' me to work have

[00:57] me work with raar a clothing line at the

[00:59] time and rise reach out to me I believe

[01:01] or no it was there a friend I think that

[01:03] connected me work out with them so I

[01:04] didn't have to worry about doing much

[01:05] Outreach but the thing is dude social

[01:07] media is growing so much now it is

[01:08] easier now more than it has ever been to

[01:10] reach out to these companies and this is

[01:12] how you do it the first step is you want

[01:13] to find the athlete manager or the

[01:15] affiliate manager for whatever company

[01:17] that you were potentially trying to work

[01:19] for now the way you do this step one is

[01:21] you got to go to apollo.io make an

[01:23] account and once you this is not even a

[01:24] sponsor make an account once you make an

[01:26] account type in the name of the company

[01:27] that you potentially want to partner up

[01:29] with or work with or promotee from there

[01:31] you can find usually the marketing or

[01:33] athlete managers and their email you can

[01:35] also sometimes find their phone numbers

[01:37] this way although I feel like it's less

[01:38] intrusive to just send an email if you

[01:40] don't hear back in a week or so send a

[01:42] followup and then if that doesn't work

[01:43] then send a text over make sure in that

[01:45] email you provide value show them the

[01:47] engagement that you've had you can show

[01:49] them your analytics show them the

[01:50] following that you've built the niche

[01:51] that you build the vision that you have

[01:53] for your social media and really just

[01:55] provide a bunch of value don't be

[01:56] hitting them up being like yo will you

[01:57] guys pay me x amount of bread for me to

[02:00] post a story post no let's say it's a

[02:01] something the company you're trying to

[02:02] work with you find their athlete

[02:03] affiliate manager you reach out to them

[02:05] say hey I've been social media blah blah

[02:07] blah 6 months now I've gained a little

[02:08] bit of a loyal following so far this is

[02:10] the type of content that I make I'm

[02:11] doing this fulltime now I'm really

[02:12] trying to make it a big thing trying to

[02:14] find some companies that would take a

[02:15] risk on me I would love to promote your

[02:17] product let me know if there's any way

[02:18] maybe I could get a pre-workout or a

[02:20] protein powder I'll make some crazy ugc

[02:22] content for you guys you guys can use

[02:23] can't wait to hear back from you you

[02:24] want to provide content for them anyway

[02:26] a lot of these Brands they don't mind

[02:27] sending you something that cost them $10

[02:29] in return for ugc Content most companies

[02:31] are going to be fine with doing that

[02:32] they do that for free anyways if you're

[02:33] a smaller influencer don't hit up like

[02:35] crazy big huge companies I would say you

[02:38] want to maybe find some of like the

[02:39] smaller more upand cominging companies

[02:41] uh and they're probably more likely to

[02:42] be willing to work with you sometimes a

[02:44] lot of these really really bigname

[02:45] companies let's say if you hit up young

[02:47] LA and you're a small influencer with

[02:48] like a thousand followers I doubt

[02:50] they're going to send you some free

[02:51] young La you know what I mean but if

[02:52] it's like an upand coming clothing brand

[02:53] they more likely are probably willing to

[02:55] send you like a pump cover to wear in

[02:56] your content to make some ugc stuff for

[02:58] them now when it gets to the point where

[02:59] or maybe if you're a little bit of a

[03:00] bigger influencer and these companies

[03:02] want to bring you on board I've already

[03:04] talked to plenty of these guys that I

[03:05] have as clients in my inner circle who

[03:07] try to present you contracts get you to

[03:09] sign contracts offer I don't recommend

[03:11] doing that without a manager if you join

[03:12] the Inner Circle right and you're

[03:13] getting some progress by learning what

[03:15] we teach you you have access to people

[03:17] like my manager so if you have a brand

[03:18] deal come across your table we will look

[03:20] at it we'll tell you what we think about

[03:22] it and maybe even help you get a better

[03:23] deal for it I think one of the biggest

[03:24] mistakes that we've had to kind of learn

[03:26] in my 5year run so far on social media

[03:28] is in the beginning we didn't really

[03:29] understand how that works there's a lot

[03:30] of sneaky things sometimes companies

[03:32] will put into contracts that will either

[03:33] lock you in for a long time or even

[03:35] after you're done with it they'll keep

[03:37] using your likeliness there's a lot of

[03:38] details that go into it so make sure you

[03:39] have someone professional look it over

[03:41] you just never know what they're going

[03:42] to try and get out of you back when I

[03:43] started I went with a company called

[03:45] rise they uh took a chance on me and

[03:47] they had a thing called a the swole

[03:48] house it was a house that they invited

[03:50] us to go out to that they paid for me

[03:52] and a few other content creators this

[03:53] when I was first starting out social

[03:54] media I took the leap of faith I

[03:55] literally moved to Dallas to go and make

[03:57] content with them and for them and it

[03:59] was a lot of me taking a risk but I

[04:02] provided so much value to the company

[04:04] they were willing to give in a sense me

[04:05] more money down the road as I was able

[04:07] to kind of grow my following show them

[04:09] that I'm I actually serious about what

[04:10] I'm doing I'm not just trying to get

[04:11] free product that goes a long way for

[04:13] these companies when they see you as a

[04:14] hard worker and someone who is providing

[04:16] value and doing more than what you're

[04:17] just getting paid to do always give

[04:19] value before trying to get paid don't

[04:21] just try to get paid from these people

[04:22] off rip it's super super basic but in

[04:24] conclusion from this short video the

[04:26] three things that you need to do is

[04:27] provide value create Niche based content

[04:29] provide provide value to your followers

[04:31] provide value to these brands that might

[04:32] take a chance on sell yourself hit up

[04:34] these companies and sell yourself show

[04:36] them the vision that you have for your

[04:38] own stuff have social proof showing that

[04:40] you've already been doing it showing the

[04:41] trajectory of where it's going and sell

[04:43] yourself be like if you guys I'm blowing

[04:44] up I'm going to be the next big thing if

[04:45] you guys want to be part of it I would

[04:46] love to have you guys on board take a

[04:48] chance on me sell yourself to these

[04:49] companies and the third thing is

[04:51] protecting your name your likeliness

[04:52] make sure that whenever there's more

[04:54] specific brand deals as you grow and get

[04:56] bigger or these emails hit you up and

[04:57] they're like yo we want you to sign this

[04:58] contract with send you $ from make sure

[05:00] you have someone professional look over

[05:01] it don't just get green money eyes we

[05:03] had someone in the Inner Circle we had

[05:04] to literally take out of a deal and save

[05:06] them because they had that happen to

[05:07] them they didn't know how this this is

[05:08] how the system works when you get in

[05:09] social media way to fix a bunch of

[05:11] things in their contracts so make sure

[05:12] that you protect yourself have someone

[05:14] professional look over that stuff

[05:15] whenever some company takes a chance on

[05:17] you do more than you're supposed to

[05:18] provide a bunch of value whatever

[05:20] deliverables or ugc content you're

[05:21] supposed to make double it do more

[05:23] provide value these companies will

[05:24] recognize that and they will work for

[05:26] you more in the long run now if you want

[05:27] the best tool to monetize your following
