[00:00] In this video, I will teach you how to make infographic videos in Canva for free using your laptop. If you find this video helpful, please don't forget to hit the subscribe button. Alright, let's get started.
[00:12] Open Canva.com and in the search tab, type infographic videos. Here you will see two options, categories and styles. In the styles section, you can choose from animated, modern, minimalist and more.
[00:27] Under categories, you will see two types. The mobile video option and the horizontal video option, which is more suitable for video presentations. In this video, we'll explore both options. But first, let's click on the mobile video option.
[00:41] You'll get to see different types of mobile animation videos. Some videos have a crown icon on them, which means they are available in the paid version. But don't worry, we'll choose a good free version for this video. You can explore various options, but I'll go with this one for now.
[00:55] Once you click on it, Canva will also show you more similar designs. You can either choose from those or simply click customize this. When you do that a new window will pop up with a timeline at the bottom and different customization options Now double click on the text to edit it Similarly double click on the rest of the text areas to change them as per your
[01:22] requirement. Once you're done editing the first frame, move to the bottom where the timeline is. You can adjust the duration of this frame by clicking and dragging the bar left or right. You can also right-click on the frame and select Duplicate Page to create a copy.
[01:38] Now you can edit the text and other elements in the duplicated frame just like before. To change the background color, click on the background of the frame.
[01:52] On the left-hand side, you'll see different color options including gradients. If you don't like those, you can click on the color wheel to explore more colors. For now, I'll undo this change by clicking the undo arrow at the top. Now we have two different frames ready.
[02:12] You can also change the text animation. Just click on the text and then click on Animate at the top. Different animation styles will appear You can preview them by simply hovering your cursor over each one Once you happy with the animation there an option to add transitions between pages Click on the small icon
[02:29] between two pages and you'll see different transition options. Again, hover over them to preview and choose the one you like. All right, once you're happy with your video, go to the share
[02:42] button and click download. Always choose mp4 format when downloading videos. Select all pages from the drop-down so that all your frames are combined into one single video. Then click download and your video will look something like this.
[02:58] Now let's explore the horizontal video format. Go back to the main Canva tab and close the mobile video. This time choose the video option from the home screen. You'll now see a lot of horizontal video templates. You can explore all the options and select whichever one fits
[03:13] your needs. For this video, I'll choose this one. Again, click customize this template. A new window will appear, this time in horizontal layout, with all the same customization options. You can click on the background and change it according to your brand colors or preferences.
[03:29] Then click on the shape in this case it a circle and change its color too Double click on the text and rewrite it with your content Click on this play icon to preview the entire frame as a video
[03:42] If you're not happy with the text animation, select the text and click animate to explore more animation styles. Choose the one that suits your design.
[03:56] Now move the timeline bar to the right to navigate to the next frame. You can now update the headline and subhead in this new frame as needed.
[04:09] Repeat the same process for the next frame. Drag the bar to move through the timeline. Click on the background and change the color or elements as per your design preferences.
[04:21] Once everything is ready, go to the share button in the top right corner. Click on download, choose all pages from the dropdown to include all the frames in one video and click download. Your horizontal infographic video will now start downloading.
