[00:48] are super super big don't try to network with people where the chat goes that fast that you can't follow along with the chat these people are impossible to reach or unless you have another way in already or maybe you're already on the

[01:02] same level as them but because you're watching this video I don't think you have a 5,000 average fewer account do you no shaming D because I definitely don't have that myself either when networking as yourself is a streamer

[01:16] somebody I would actually like is it somebody I would actually hang out with to hang out with this person we want to become friends with and the chance to become friends with somebody this way if

[01:29] we actually like them is going to be a lot bigger when we actually like them that's the thing right you become friends with people you do like it's a like you back if you're going to like them and yes friends plural as you don't

[01:43] just network with the streamer that you are networking with but also with the viewers you're not just focusing on that one person but you're also focusing on the rest of the people in the chat as well because those are potential friends

[01:57] differentiating between those because not every viewer will feel as a friend and not every friend will become a regular viewer and that's okay something what's important with networking is that you have a defined brand that you know

[02:11] what your stream is about so that others also know what your stream is about as soon as somebody clicks on your name and sees your profile that they know what going to like it they might click on your name after somebody shout you out

[02:24] because you made friends via networking it's going to be easier for other you out they're going to have things to tell about you for example instead of saying hey go full our tree because you know this is very genetic and people

[02:39] don't really know why to follow me they're going to say things like hey go follow tree because see also plays Nintendo games and she's really cool because she does like to focus on any games she likes that and now the viewer

[02:54] knows like hey I do like these kind of things I do like Nintendo games I do like indie games tree is going to be somebody I'm going to be enjoying and said in the shout out somebody is going to be more likely to be following not

[03:09] every streamer will be doing shout outs like that I do realize that but you're giving them a chance to give a shout out like this instead of giving a genetic like this instead of giving a genetic Shout Out by basically generating this

[03:21] brand awareness and making it easier for people to show what you are about but actually work how do you go about networking itself when you are in a twitch chat start by just saying hello that's just the perfect start right just

[03:36] say hello just introduce yourself like hey I'm Trey hello welcome in most of all just be the perfect viewer be the viewer you want to have in your own chat think about what the perfect viewer would do in your chat they would say

[03:51] hello to new people that come in they would start conversations they would ask questions about the game they would interact with things you say on stream they would answer your questions when you ask questions on stream right so

[04:03] answer the questions that the streamer has help them out whenever they have questions but also do not just answer the streamer talk to the streamer but talk to the other people in the chat as well remember that you not only

[04:16] networking with the streamer but also with the other viewers and besides from that you could be friends with the other viewers this also looks very good for the streamer because this is the perfect viewer and you want to become the

[04:28] perfect viewer you know you know what if you are the perfect viewer you will get noticed this way people notice that and if you want to go the extra am you can join that Discord server because there you can keep interacting with them when

[04:42] they're not live if you want you can join mine link is down below in the description and you don't have to join a 100 Discord servers it's going to be tedious to keep up with 100 Discord servers but try to join a couple and be

[04:54] community and you find out that the streamer or the audience isn't really for you you it's okay to leave especially if they change their style sometimes a streamer just starts doing something else they start streaming a

[05:08] total different trama back in the days I used to stream Rainbow Six Siege and now I do Nintendo games and Indie Games it's so much different and yeah people left and it's normal because they didn't like these

[05:23] kind of games that are playing right now but it happens people are making different choices creatively now will lead to iritation of people so don't be afraid to leave a community whenever you do not feel like

[05:36] you belong anymore when you're networking do not bring up that you're a streamer unless people are starting to ask if you're a streamer people will to rub it in their faces to make sure that people find out what you could do

[05:49] is make sure that you have your Twitch profile filled in correctly if people click on your Twitch that people see oh that's an active streamer people will see that everything is filled out on your profile and that you're good to go

[06:01] that you're set up even if there are no past broadcasts they will see that connect your Discord to your Twitch people can immediately click on your Twitch through Discord but they can also see when you're live because then you

[06:13] get this purple dot next to your name if you want to be 100% sure that they would not miss that you're a streamer you can always rate them when they're streaming this is basically a way to share your community with them you're doing them a

[06:25] on the other hand you're also telling them I'm a streamer yeah I stream so this is a little bit of a more subtle way to say I'm a streamer and not rub it in their face so much if you see that

[06:37] there are other streamers in the same Community you're trying to invest in as well it's not a close loop and you can include as many people as you want basically to interact with but I think the best tip in this video will be

[06:52] quality networking over quantity networking in every one of these videos in this series I'm giving you one actionable thing to do and in this video the actionable thing to do is that you're going to need to network with

[07:04] somebody choose somebody doesn't really matter which one as long as you feel right with a streamer if this feels like somebody that feels like your Vibe your kind of person start networking with them say hi hang out in their chat hang

[07:17] out in the Discord follow them on social media try to get to know them not just be a creepy s c but try to get to know them you know try to become actual friends you might be able to collaborate
