[00:33] the industry and the different social implications that come with the industry now I've already done and uncovered a lot of stories and interviews about the jaav industry but then I thought to myself what is it like then in the

[00:49] western adult industry today I flown all the way out here to Los Angeles California in the United States to interview and talk to a good friend of mine Violet Myers professional adult actress social media Titan and

[01:02] occasional YouTuber to hear from her firsthand what it's actually like to be an active member of the adult industry in the 21st century how different it is working for a western adult industry as opposed to the Japanese adult industry

[01:43] would say probably one of the biggest corn in America I'm like top 10 on the corn site The Hub yeah the Hub yeah weren't you at like two or three at one always like in that top 10 but it's either like 2 five 8 goes up and down

[01:59] achievement so I think you know suffice it to say the title is not clickbait uh you are probably in fact America's big we've known each other for a little bit we're doing a video together cuz I kind of wanted to I guess talk to you about

[02:14] the industry that you work in and how that might be perceived or maybe how it works in Japan in the past I've done a lot of like interviews with like people in the kith industry in Japan like in the JV and stuff like that but

[02:28] never in America so I kind of wanted to like talk to you and like maybe discuss about like you know like differences in the industry and like you know how it is working in the industry and stuff like that so uh yeah I guess like to get

[02:41] started like how does one get into core industry in America um you know everyone has their own different ways of how they get in like for example for me I got recruited through social media really yeah I was someone just sent you a DM

[02:56] yeah someone just sent me a message but also I was directly saying I wanted to be a I want to be a while I was while I was in school right right and then I got recruited through an agency like a legit License Agency that's how you know it's

[03:09] legit when it's licensed they told me to fly on over to Florida and then that's how I got started but usually people get recruited as like a model or they'll post on social media or they'll send out applications you know like a job

[03:22] application but through a legit licensed agent like how do they find those like agent like how do they find those like applications like just Google it license between one that is licensed and one that's not one will have the actual

[03:36] you can't say your license well you can't say your license if you're not licensed that's illegal yeah right right so that's how you do it jobs there's a website C and A lot of my friends have gotten recruited through there okay yeah

[03:49] cuz I always assumed it was like there was like Craigslist ads or like there is c yeah too but I think that's like in the past I have tried to look on CIS I was looking to be a cour on Craigslist but there was sketchy ads so I'm glad I

[04:05] never I mean you just described Craigslist in general like it's it can get pretty scared it's a red flag website for okay so that's interesting cuz like you said that so you were doing social media just casually as as a

[04:17] social media just casually as as a student and you wanted to be aord um what what made you want to be C I was a webcam girl while I was in college because I was helping me afford you know books and paying for tuition student

[04:31] ones bro yeah they're expensive so I was doing that so I was in somewhat of like the adult industry already okay what made me want to do it was obviously I made me want to do it was obviously I wanted to grow my room my my at the time

[04:45] and have more people come and get more money and become a popular webcam girl but then I got recruited cuz I wanted to be wanted to be a and then I flew to Florida did a couple scenes and I loved the industry I loved my experience and

[05:00] that's why I decided to stay and do it instead of and how long have you been doing it now 5 years this year years damn half a decade now hell yeah what that a a girl or a guy is in the industry for I would say the range is 3

[05:16] to 6 months once you get past that oh that short once you get past that oh you're you're good as long as you stay sane you stay healthy and you love it then you can have a long career why do you think the the span is so

[05:29] short it's like hot pies they come and go you know there's always that new girl that people look for it's really the personality and the performance that really keeps the fans engaged right right and more so than just like oh

[05:41] she's like a pretty girl or that's like a really like yeah and then for guys it's a little bit shorter because their performance is banana so like a lot of the times they can't stay hard they get intimidated by a huge camera crew the

[05:56] lifespan is like 3 to 6 months right right so I mean if you think of it that way 5 years is an achievement it is a long yeah people are calling me an OG now like oh my God I never thought I would be an old school Court yeah well

[06:10] before only fans took over oh yeah true true I'm glad you mentioned that because cuz like you know obviously you have an only fans um and I assume you're making pretty good bank out of it as I think a lot ofn and I've noticed that that has

[06:25] become a trend of like there's there's two trends of like obviously corn that are currently in the industry creating an only fans and like kind of doing both at the same time and then there are people who are like well I want to do

[06:38] stuff but I don't necessarily want to be in the industry whereas I can just kind of self- produce and so they do it on only fans right yeah they're called content creators contess unfortunately yeah know yeah

[06:51] just like me for real I guess like one question I want to ask is does the cor industry see only fans as like a threat or do they see see it as like oh they're just like boosting the I guess the the positive mindset of women being like

[07:06] positive mindset of women being like open and like you know uh active I guess I want to say it's a mixture of the both um because it's a I want to say it's like a positive and a negative because the positive is yes a lot of these girls

[07:19] don't have to depend on going on set as much and making one paycheck and then you don't get paid for the rest of your life anymore you only get paid that once that one time a lot of companies are losing I feel like we're not as active

[07:31] shoot for mainstream anymore because only fans has taken over so it it tends producers cuz then there'll be a girl that cancels the day of and if it [ __ ]

[07:44] just go at home and make the money herself you know but it's like it's a positive and negative I feel like a lot of the industry in the beginning was accepted towards it but now it's like do you want to be a mainstream star or do

[07:58] you want to be like only only fan star and a lot of girls are going more bigname girls they're starting to quit doing shoots for companies and Studios producing their own content so it's like a mixture of both I think just like the

[08:13] pure existence of only fans just from my perspective is like a positive and a negative at the same time in general because it's like obviously women now are becoming more open and you know being like more yeah open and you know I

[08:25] like you know you do whatever the hell you want it's your body but I feel at the same time there's also these like stigmas that are born out of the whole only fans thing do you think these like stigmas that like kind of born as a

[08:38] result of like just only fans being a thing or do you think it's persisted since like the days of court it's been since the days of even before only fans I remember people would tell me oh your kids are going to be mad and sad you're

[08:52] going to get bullied so this was even before only fans for sure do you how do you find those stigmas as someone in the industry I don't pay attention to them because that there's stigmas in every industry I feel like in whatever field

[09:04] you are I just happen to be more open with my body and so I feel like it's an easy target for a lot of people to come harass me and you know give me those assum like what are they the assumptions assumptions yeah yeah that's something I

[09:18] can't you know argue with but also I feel like we're moving towards a society where people are starting to accept it m accept it now and this new generation is to see it as like legitimate work instead of just like someone that just

[09:34] opens their legs on camera yeah I I feel like it's interesting because it's kind definitely does exist as well but I feel like now it's just become like two extremes it's you either extremely like Pro only fans Pro court it's like this

[09:48] the men who want to be in that industry it's good to be active and then you have like the extreme on the complete opposite side where it's like just ban Old Point ban all women should not be doing this blah blah blah blah blah and

[10:02] it's like at that point there's like nothing you can do about it especially it's like if you enjoy being in the industry then you just stay in the kind of thing you know yeah I feel like with this industry the adult industry I

[10:15] feel like I felt more accepted with these people than I have with people who I worked normal jobs with um because they see a different side of you then besides just having also you're open you know you can have open mind I feel like

[10:29] most of us have an open mind and most people are closed-minded I'd say the like one big thing with you especially that I feel is quite different from other people in the industry is that you are for one very active on social media

[10:44] um and you have a YouTube channel and I feel that is very rare for someone in your position um why did you want to be one of those people who are like I'm going to start a YouTube channel I'm going to make videos I've I've been

[10:57] vlogging since I was in high school so it was nothing new to me I always wanted to be a YouTuber I just felt like I didn't have that platform to do it and meet someone they're like you have such like a cool personality it's so

[11:09] relatable so I felt like I had the confidence to actually start a YouTube channel and a lot of people find what I do interesting cuz it's like you never really meet an adult Entertainer that wants to be open about their job most

[11:22] girls I know or just people in general they're like I don't want to talk about anything that's just and me I feel like it's cool when you meet because it's not like it's kind of like a unicorn you don't really just

[11:36] meet you know it's like you have so many questions cuz like I was that person on the other side before when I was in school I did research on the adult entertainment and I wish I would have been friends with cor to ask them these

[11:48] questions so when people ask me these questions I'm completely open because environment that I feel like I want to spread that awareness cuz I know a lot of people assume negative but it's the complete opposite yeah I

[12:01] mean you know that's like totally this you know current situation right now right like like you're a friend of mine who's in the industry and I have so many and so that's why we're doing this video and I feel like as well that kind of

[12:15] and I feel like as well that kind of curiosity is born maybe because not many people talk openly about the industry and maybe there's like I don't know but like a lot of stuff is like kind of hidden out of the lmel Maybe on purpose

[12:29] or maybe just because there's no one there hasn't been anyone that's like stuff like that right cuz I've seen like you're other like interviews and stuff and like you're pretty open with what you talk about in the industry which I

[12:42] feel is very rare you know completely open I feel like most interviews I do a lot of people are like surprised at how open I am because they're like are you like it's okay is she allowed to say that or yeah cuz I don't cuz if if

[12:56] people really pay attention to it it's never nothing negative I don't say we're getting this and that there's drugs no it's never like that it's all consensual we all do paper legals we have to do a video consenting before and after like

[13:09] and that we're in the right mind state to even do this so so why do you think exist is it because maybe just people wild and being like Oh it's probably like a slimy industry behind the scenes

[13:24] like a slimy industry behind the scenes and all that kind of stuff I want to say just by thinking about when I wasn't it just people would assume because people are having unprotected maybe that's why they're like oh you're having all these

[13:36] people and it's they don't understand we get tested once a week maybe even twice sometimes um it's just like people are just uneducated that's it you know and I talk about it so openly so that's why people just have these assumptions and

[13:50] negative assumptions about what the industry is but it's the complete opposite are there actually any like NE negative aspects to the industry that you've seen now that you've been in it there is cases where there'll be people

[14:04] who get in the industry with malicious intentions where they're obviously they love it but because they think it's a get a gateway to fluff all these corn

[14:16] field and so then they end up being like abusers and it's a rare situation I feel like most of the time when I'm on set on a professional set everyone's so nice like too nice cuz they like sometimes they be like are you sure do you need

[14:30] any water like it's like very positive environment you know and like I think that a lot of people don't know that cuz I wish like we were able to film like on a set so you can see that for yourself but it's not what people think and I

[14:43] wish I could explain it better but I wish people could live in my head to see but um I guess then in that aspect like what's one thing you wish you knew about the industry before you went into it you know what I wish I knew that once you do

[14:57] this you you kind of of like you can't go back to normal life basically because there's times where I feel like maybe I should have just did YouTube not like what I do but then I think about like when I go on a I'm like you know what I

[15:10] really do love this and this is you know it just happened to be my path but I wish I would have known the consequences of like once you're on the Internet it's there forever yeah that's why I encourage people before they do it to

[15:23] really think about it because you're really cuz even if you do of one scene it can blow up and you know I've had people from my school come back to me and like be like oh I know you you're you know you're Violet and even when I

[15:37] go outside I don't have I I have anxiety just because I feel like they've seen me at my most vulnerable and I signed up for that I'm okay with that but you know that beforehand like been a little bit more prepared for it be more prepared

[15:51] for it but I feel like now right now I'm completely fine and I have that strong completely fine and I have that strong mindset and I have pepper spr so I feel safe so don't think of any [ __ ] basically yeah like do you get a lot of

[16:05] yeah I think every time I leave my house I at least have like one or two people like ask for a picture so okay cuz like that's super interesting cuz it's like I also get recognized on the streets as well but I feel how my fans interact

[16:18] with me on the streets and how your fans interact with you on the streets is very describe like an average fan of yours on the streets like comes up to are they nervous it's either or so it's either they're super confident or they're just

[16:31] really shy like little nerdy guys cuz the thing is like I think that's why I'm so popular too is because a l you appe to the Nerds yeah that's my community but also like I'm just like the nerdy girl I think that's like if they were in

[16:44] way which you know I think on the internet nowadays is like The Golden Child like I think I think everyone on the internet wishes like oh I want a I want a Nery girl who's also sexi as like they they want the the Two Worlds like

[16:58] together right recently I went to Anime Expo and I was like filming a YouTube video but I no actually no this I went two separate days I went with my family I wish that some of my fans were like cool because it's cool if they tell me

[17:12] and that but when I'm with my like brothers and cousins and Mom they're like yo that scene where you were wearing the Hooters outfit I was like oh my God y that first that first that you

[17:25] did that [ __ ] was tight in front of like my mom maybe my mom doesn't want to hear that but like that's kind of my fans or episode of jiujitsu kaisen or like it's either or it's either I love your movies

[18:07] when people that I used to watch and I meet them I'm like this is kind of weird cuz I used to watch your videos so like like we're friends now but my friends they don't think it's weird that I say that but to me it's a little weird cuz

[18:19] that but to me it's a little weird cuz it's like I've seen you naked but my friend like one of my best friends he watches my and he like will critique it watches my and he like will critique it like yo this scene was fire but I find

[18:31] it weird if I do it to my friends I know I'm I'm kind of the same way like I can't watch not not obviously like when it comes to like YouTube videos like if I'm really good friends with someone I find it really hard to watch their

[18:43] videos not because like their quality has gone down or anything like that but it's just like I could watch your videos or I could just message you and we can hang out yeah and I think I'd much rather do the ladder you know so it's

[18:55] this might be a bit of a personal question so feel free to not answer if you're not comfortable with it would you say that cor has affected your life cor has anything improved my life I feel more confident with my especially

[19:10] because what I do on camera I want to repeat it in my personal life but I will say it also kind of has ruined it a little bit because now I feel like when little bit because now I feel like when I do have on camera it's like oh I have

[19:24] to open up I have to do this position now it's like it's kind of in my head I have my personal I'm like [ __ ] I should have recorded this so it's kind that's content right there yes so it's like damn it no I'm like save you're n put it

[19:36] back let's do it and let's film it again so that's literally how I feel like yeah ruined it but I feel like now it's become work andu I mean I feel that's not so much that's just like content creator brain that's you where it's like

[19:50] I could do this one thing or I could do it on camera yeah you know and make money off it you exactly I think I think every YouTuber runs into that problem I feel like for a lot of people perhaps who are maybe not as like well-versed or

[20:05] and the people in the industry I think if I were to asked that same question I think a lot of people would be like oh it surely must right because they have for a job and you know if you're doing something for a job then you don't want

[20:18] it in your personal life right if anything I feel like I get on offset because it's like on camera it's not like as real as I wanted to be because they'll stop in one position and they'll be like all right 2 minutes of that 2

[20:33] minutes of this 2 minutes of that versus my personal life I can do it as long as I want yeah if anything when I come home from some I'm like I want to have legit like no camera sometimes just long personal like hugging each other there

[20:46] is some incidents where I'm like I I can't have right now because I am open and it hurts especially when I do like extreme scenes like a DP it's like a wi

[20:58] wi so one's one's in like and I'll like mentally take like two days off where I don't want to think about don't look at stay off my phone just because I just did like an extreme you did like a concentrated version of

[21:12] it right yeah it's like basically like are like athletes almost so there will be incidents where I like [ __ ] I can't have but when you have a partner that understands it makes it easy M so obviously you know although you've been

[21:26] doing cord for 5 years now a long time uh you haven't done everything that that industry has to offer right um when it comes to like say for example certain shoots um are there have there been some where you know in the 5 years where

[21:40] where you know in the 5 years where you're just like yeah maybe not um I'm not personally down for that or I'm not ready for that or anything like that of course yeah like even me I just did my first last year and it was a lot because

[21:57] for for most girls like their agents will be like do it for scene and some will be like do it for scene and some girls are okay with it and for my career till I felt a little bit more comfortable to like practice because

[22:10] it's not as easy as people think it is you have to clean yourself you can't eat for like basically a day cuz you have you can't poop on set like there's incidents where sometimes girls will poop on camera because of it I Cho I

[22:24] strategic I strategically sorry strategic strategically I Had a Brain F right now I strategically waited to do all of this because once you do it you can't go back a lot of people are going to

[22:38] consistently want that and they're going to want more of it as well right yeah like even me I just did my then I did my first right after and now people want to see me do a wi wi it's like you can never really satisfy everyone I feel it

[22:52] escalating like you do that next thing it's just going to keep getting bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger yeah and that's why I feel like I've paced myself out for a good run too I feel like a lot of people luckily I have a

[23:04] supportive fan base where they're anything I do they're going to support they're like your talk your your clicker your clock is ticking and you need to do going to get bored so sometimes it could feel like you're being pressured a

[23:19] little bit especially when your fan base is kind of pressuring you to do these your normal life right right but I feel like you do whatever you're comfortable with no one really forces you it's all up to you and that's what I love you

[23:32] know nowadays especially with agents they're like if you want to do it do it can't speak for everyone but my agent is the same way if you were a dude right and you could sleep with any member of the industry who would it be Angela

[23:47] White right yeah just because like I've shot with her but like girl girl but I would like to be a guy and and flu what what makes her difference in your mind her accent she has she's Australian Australian accent but also too she has

[24:03] these blue eyes and like when you stare at her or like when whenever I see her performance it's just so enticing like that there's a reason why she's like top three so her I would choose there or myself cuz I want to know how good am I

[24:17] because I hear this all the time so I have my own so I want you know I want to have a and do that you know but just them that see that's what that's what to say you know what if I was the opposite fluff honestly I would that's

[25:31] incidents where like the steps sister like this like the that stuff I'm not really into the play there's this one guy particularly I want to shout out because he was like it technically you're not supposed to say you're my

[25:45] brother you're my sister because you're supposed to say step brother but I don't give a call me your brother right now I so I was like brother you're not supposed to say St step brother he's like just say step brother once and then

[25:59] the rest of it just call me brother it's imp yeah so that's probably like weird too cuz I'm like oh I I pray to God he is an only child like I I pray to God I pray to God too I pray to God he is an only child stepdad step brother all that

[26:40] do you do for the Halloween parodies so I got recently asked to do this alien movie okay where I have to basically get abducted by aliens and then I have to like lay on this spaceship but like on this cold table naked and just get by

[26:57] wait well will the guys like dress up they going dress up as aliens and my should do this cuz there's going to be a lot of slime and oh God yeah so it's like corn really go a bunch of ways honestly what's the weirdest offer

[27:12] alien one only because I feel like I'd be really scared cuz now that aliens are confirmed I was like you're going to tell me to do that now that aliens are going to watch that be like that's a great idea yeah let's abduct her and

[27:26] doing that so that's probably like the craziest thing I've been asked to do would you say that being in cour indry is a lucrative option yes and no in the beginning obviously you're getting paid more than you do when you work like a

[27:41] minimum wage job but then when you realize it's like a onetime payment oh my God I'm only getting paid $800 for this one scene and my rent is this much and I have to still pay for my clothes my lingerie get tested it it adds up so

[27:56] for some people it can be like cuz they're working so much they can afford it but like someone when I started I was only shooting like maybe one or two scenes a month that was nothing the popular the more popular you get the

[28:08] more work you get and the higher your rate goes but obviously in the beginning it's not like that and male performers don't get paid [ __ ] right they and they work the most like some of them work two to three scenes a day because they need

[28:21] to yeah how the [ __ ] they're superheroes man they're built different yeah they're they're really buil I think that's why I think I appreciate only fans and I because you don't have to like be on set for 12 hours a day and only make this

[28:36] check versus when you're producing your own content you're making lifetime more money yeah would you say that's one of the big reasons why a lot of court US starting to like do only fan stuff like that yeah cuz people think we get

[28:48] royalties but we don't really no it's the companies that make all of that money it's rare I think there are some people that do like but that was before contracts that they'll still make money from the scenes they done but we don't

[29:02] it's unfortunate cuz then when we pay taxes it's so much money yeah and then we have to pay an agent fee like 15 to 10 10 to 15% sometimes even 20 and it's like it adds up and then you're left with like how much money and I just did

[29:15] this I guess like what would you say is like the general reaction what was the General reaction uh amongst like your friends and family when you decided to go into the industry um this is a good question cuz I know a lot of people want

[29:28] to know this um cuz I think the general consensus is like oh I bet your parents like what you're going to do that you know don't do that and like maybe there around it but how was it in your case it was more of my mom just making sure I'm

[29:44] okay if that's what you want to do that's fine my Situation's different than other people's for sure I've met a lot of my friends and they've gotten disowned their their family doesn't want to talk to them for the most case I

[29:58] think a lot of people are accepting they just don't ask like my mom won't be like a sense we like give me details give me details but she just wants to know like hey are you okay are you safe you know like you're not hurt or anything but my

[30:13] family was pretty open-minded my grandma was the only one that was kind of like disappointed because she's a Catholic she believes in poor marriage like she

[30:25] got married and then had my mom and Aunt so like it was a little bit harder for her to swallow cuz I'm the oldest and they I was in college so they expected they I was in college so they expected me to get my PhD and Clinical Psychology

[30:37] and do that but I think now they everyone's more accepting especially my hard for them a little bit when they see me on social media and they're like oh me on social media and they're like oh she's a COR yeah you know but they know

[30:52] the real me and they know it's my job so for the most part they're just they always been like just please be safe you know that's it I mean I feel just from hearing that like you definitely got the much better end of the bargain you know

[31:06] sure there's a lot of people who just like disown them yeah get disowned or like you know all you know all the bridges get burnt or you know whatever isolated and I'm sure like for those people in the industry like that really

[31:21] it's like a mental thing when you go in this industry it's it's very hard especially when you're overly exposed you feel like you might need your family little bit you know about everything and

[31:35] bring you back to like your roots and I think that's why a lot of my fans think I'm really like humble and sweet is because I have my family they're the ones that like keep me grounded versus some people they're like they're on

[31:47] they don't have anyone that loves them at home you know but I just got really lucky yeah no definitely all right hypothetical oh actually not hypothetical probably many times in your life you're on the Hub okay you've

[39:46] Airbnb um but and and a tenant just got really wacky in this room pretty much every part of this house um someone has fluff fluff D yeah cuz I I noticed there was like a bed over in that room as well

[41:00] right so then you're going to sit down you're going to do your hair and makeup artist there depending on the company you work for you're either going to have to bring your own wardrobe or they'll have they'll provide wardrobe for you

[41:13] and then right after your hair and makeup is done you're going to go to the side you're going to do your legals and that is like a docu sign or paperwork where you do like a W9 where you fill out your paperwork for taxes you do pay

[41:26] taxes here pay taxes even though we do we do pay taxes here yes they take our we do pay taxes here yes they take our money too and then we do the the consent form which is like our first last name Social Security our date of birth and
