AI Summary

This video presents the results of a massive backtest of 100 trading strategies pulled from YouTube videos, covering 1,200 strategy-timeframe combinations on one year of market data. The creator demonstrates an interactive dashboard that ranks strategies by asset, timeframe, and risk, revealing that no single strategy works universally. Performance depends heavily on the asset, timeframe, and risk settings, with only 44 strategies surviving the full backtest.

[00:04]
Study scope

The video backtests 1,200 combinations generated from 100 trading strategy videos across different time frames and presents the results in an interactive panel.

[00:19]
Methodology and credibility

The creator explains the entire method to ensure credible data: strategy rules were extracted from transcripts, converted into JSON files, normalized, and tested.

[00:46]
Data pipeline

Entry and exit rules from 100 YouTube strategy videos were put into the cloud as JSON files, normalized for fair comparison, and market data was sourced from MT5.

[01:57]
Backtest parameters

The backtest runs on one year of data from 17 July 2025 to 17 July 2026, using Python. Out of 1200 backtests, only 44 strategies survived.

[02:38]
Asset-specific performance

Different strategies outperform on different assets — for example, the best strategy for Bitcoin is not the same as the best for Ethereum.

[03:05]
Costs and timeframe effects

All results include brokerage. On the 15-minute timeframe, returns can be negative for some assets, emphasizing the importance of time frame and asset selection.

[04:51]
Top strategies by timeframe for Ethereum

Examples: Zigzag works best on ETH 15-minute, Chaikin Money Flow on 30-minute, Donchian Channel on 1-hour, and Pivot Point Breakout on 4-hour.

[05:17]
Bias control

The creators excluded their own strategies from the comparison so viewers would trust the results.

[05:57]
Ranking options

Strategies can be ranked by net returns, robust score (which includes drawdown), or lowest drawdown. The ICT Silver Bullet stands out for low drawdown.

[07:31]
Risk and returns

Reducing risk per trade from 2% to 1% significantly reduces returns; increasing it boosts returns, so users can adjust according to preference.

[10:23]
Detailed strategy stats

One best-performing Ethereum strategy showed net returns after costs, max drawdown, a win rate of only 33.51%, risk-reward of 1:2.8, and 252 trades in one year.

[12:52]
Gold results

On Gold, no strategy worked well on 15 minutes, but one worked on 30 minutes with a win rate of about 37%.

No single strategy is universally best; performance depends heavily on the asset, timeframe, and risk settings, so traders should backtest long periods before committing.

[00:04] backtest 1200 combinations of 100 strategies of 100 years and tell you which strategy works best on which time frame. [music]. So please watch the video carefully. So let us first understand

[00:19] please watch the video carefully. So let us first understand you know that the data I am going to give you is completely credible not clear in your mind then there will be

[00:32] So I am going to explain the entire method to you and here you can see that we have created a complete panel for you which is an interactive panel and we have created it only for this video. That's why I am saying that we have worked very hard. So

[00:46] please like this video and subscribe to the channel. So let us now understand how we backtested 1200 combinations of these 100 strategies. of 100 strategy videos from YouTube, which tells us

[00:59] where we bought and where we sold. All the entries are written in it. After that we put each strategy in the cloud and after putting it in the cloud, we got clear entry and exit rules from the transcript that we had

[01:12] and we created a JSON file for it. Now that we had a JSON file with entry and exit rules for 100 strategies, we normalized the rules for each strategy so that they could compete with each other. After that, the most important thing for us was the

[01:26] market data on which we would do backtesting. Here we have done a backtest of one year's data. So for this we used MT5 which is a type of software which is used by professional traders. From that I

[01:44] After which we had strategies. We had the market data. We backtested it in Python and then created a panel like this. From which we have got the data. We checked it repeatedly and also tested it. That

[01:57] means we have worked hard from our side to ensure that the data is completely credible. What are the results now ? Let us understand this. So first of all you can see here that we have backtested it on the data from 17th July 2025 to 17th July 2026.

[02:11] That means there is data for a whole year. Because here 100 strategies have been backtested on different time frames. So the total number of back tests we had was 1200. Of these, there were 44 strategies that survived.

[02:24] Here we have kept the risk on trade at 2%. We can change this later and you will also get to see what changes it will bring in the results. Right now, that basis, you can also see which strategy is performing better.

[02:38] First of all, if I want to see which strategy is working well in Bitcoin, then If I want to look at Ethereum, here on Ethereum when I open the chart, there is another strategy which is working much better.

[02:52] here is the third strategy which is working the best. That means there are different strategies in every chart which are working better. Now after this let us move on to the time frame. Now if I go to the 15 minute time frame, here I see that the

[03:05] Meaning returns are given in negative. And by the way, let me tell you that whatever backtest we have done here, we have also included brokerage in it. extract the overall data. That's

[03:18] Now in the same way, suppose I want to see Ethereum in 15 minutes, then here is a strategy which is working well in 15 minutes. And if I were to look at Bitcoin, there's a strategy that's working but not working that well.

[03:31] Meaning, here it becomes very important which asset you are trading in we do not pay much attention to. This is the conclusion we came to. Now in the same way, if I open in 30 minutes time frame, then you keep watching here.

[03:46] Here you will see which strategy is coming in the top 10. So So none of these strategies worked well in Bitcoin. But if I go to Ethereum, you will see that the results are absolutely shocking.

[03:59] Now if I go into Ethereum even in the 1 hour time frame, the strategies are working well. Bitcoin is working fine. That means if you are going for a bigger time frame then the strategy is working better. Now if I go to the 4 hour time

[04:12] see that it has started working less than before. go in the 4 hour time frame then better results will come out. But strategy which is working well in 1 hour. Not working well in 4 hours. There is

[04:26] a strategy that is working well in 15 minutes. Not working well in 1 hour. This means that we need to pay a lot of attention to the time frame and our assets. So now if we look at Ethereum for example, here you

[04:39] can see which strategies are coming in the top 10 and if you want to see all 100, then its complete chart also opens up in front of us here. So, for example, if I select only Ethereum here and

[04:51] strategy is working better. So here I went to the 15 minute time frame, so this is a strategy called Zigzag which is working better. If I go to the 30-minute time frame, this [music] is a check- in money flow strategy that is

[05:04] working well. If I go to the 1 hour time frame then there is a strategy by doing Donchan channel. It is doing a good job. And if I go to the 4 hour time frame, then there is working better by doing the pivot point breakout model. Well, let me make one thing clear to you here that

[05:17] not contain any of our strategies [music]. This is not because if my strategy comes out on top then you will feel that the data is not credible, we must have made some changes. But if our strategy performs poorly,

[05:30] questions will arise there too. That's why we have kept our strategies aside from this. So now you can see that brother, in the 4 hour time frame, we have a strategy by making a pivot point which is working better. There is another

[05:43] a third strategy that is working well in 15 minutes. So we can also select our time frame and so on from here. Now after this, see, the ranking that we have done here, we have done it on the basis of net returns. I have changed this to

[05:57] a robust score in which we have taken every single thing into consideration like how much is the drawdown. If we look at it on the basis of all those things, then another strategy emerges here. Now let's say I go to lowest drawdown, I want to see

[06:09] not give very good returns but also had very low drawdown. So here you can see that the silver bullet strategy of ICT comes out. everyone has some different rules and with just a few changes the

[06:24] returns of the entire strategy can change significantly. So this is someone else's strategy we are getting to know which strategy is working on which time frame. So I just saw that brother, if I go into Ethereum on 30 time frame

[06:37] this is a strategy which is working very well. Now after this we have also kept an option of category here. If you want to see that brother, you you selected me on this, so here is a price action strategy which is

[06:51] bringing so many returns. After this, if you need an ICT strategy, then the ICT strategy is the silver bullet which is bringing returns but it does not give that After this, suppose if I go to indicator base, then here the

[07:04] That's why when the indicator strategy was working well, I did told my team to recheck it once. But again, things turned out to be exactly the same in our data. Now after this, see here if you want to go to a particular style

[07:18] that brother I am interested in breakout strategy then there will be breakout strategy, mean reversion , reversal. So you type of strategy is working better. Like trend based strategy is

[07:31] working better. [Music] Now here's another thing that's really important for you to know: trade on risk. See, if I reduce my risk in the trade, then here you will see that my returns have also reduced significantly. If I

[07:43] if I increase it a lot, you will see that my returns will also increase. So it depends on you. if you find these returns low, then let me tell you that these are

[07:58] new to trading, then you may think and your returns are coming out to be so much on the basis of strategy, then how is all this happening? So I would say that when someone earns, he earns and there are

[08:10] losses also. Here, after including all the things overall, the good number. Rest you can reduce it as per the risk on trade. And if you want to search for a strategy, you can do it like this also. Now, let's

[08:24] reset it completely and place the trade here at a risk of 1%. So this is a strategy that has come to my mind. strategy has turned out to be something like this. Now here we can

[08:39] see the complete chart of this strategy. Meaning which asset is it? Ethereum is US Dollar. What time frame is it? Apart from this, we can see here how much risk there is. And on that basis, which strategy will determine how the entire chart will be? The

[08:51] capital we have considered here is tested on the basis of capital of $00. So here you can see that there was some time loss earlier. After that, when the strategy started working, here you can see that it has

[09:04] Here we can also see comparisons of the other strategies with the top 10 strategies shown here. For example, if we look at this particular time, from this time to this time, there was some other strategy here which was

[09:17] was the strategy, the second strategy, which was outperforming the first strategy for a long time, but later this strategy strategy you are using, first do a long back test and then it

[09:31] is important to use it for a longer period of time. Because it is possible that the us go into the details of the strategy which is working best. But before that, if want to open your account to trade crypto futures, then you can open an account in Delta Exchange.

[09:45] open your account using our link, you channel. Where we keep giving you market related information.

[09:58] Please do fill it. Even whatever information you need, whatever PDFs etc. we create, we will keep sharing them all in that group and also this entire data that we have created with so much hard work, we will share it in our private Telegram channel.

[10:11] Now let's come back to the topic. So here we saw which strategy is working better on different time frames. For here we saw which strategy is working better on different time frames. For but if I go into Ethereum, the strategy is working much better. So what did I

[10:23] I can see its chart here. So when I click on this, I can see the complete details of that strategy here. The entire rules are visible as to what were the rules in this strategy that they followed. So

[10:37] first of all you can see the name of the strategy here. After this, here is his style i.e. this trend following strategy. Whatever its original time frame might have been, that is, the given it for the daily time frame. But since we tested it here in 30 minutes, it is

[10:50] working well there too. After this, here you are seeing the net returns, that is, after all the costs like brokerage etc., you are seeing these returns here. Max drawdown is visible. Meaning, if there was ever a

[11:02] loss, then how much loss did the strategy incur. After this we can see the profit factor which is considered good if it is more than one. Now if we talk about the win rate here, it is not very good. The win rate here is only 33.51%.

[11:15] But even after this you will wonder how it has given good returns. So the logic behind this is that the risk reward here was more than 1:2. The risk reward was around 1:2.8. So, suppose

[11:32] our capital here would have been this much. Now here we are being shown the rules of the strategy. The Now here we are being shown the rules of the strategy. The And apart from this, how many samples were taken ? So in one year, 252 trades were

[11:45] made based on these samples. There will be some trades which will not be that good which our system will ignore. So there were 124 such trades. But even if we had taken them, this strategy would still have been profitable. Now if we

[11:58] talk about return consistency, here month wise data is given as to and in which month the strategy worked well. By using this, we can improve our strategy even further if we want. So now let's look at another strategy here. We went to Ethereum

[12:14] , went to the 15-minute time frame, selected the top 10, and we are selecting based on net returns. Here we have kept a risk of 1%. Even if I increase the risk to 2%, you can see that the returns of that strategy have

[12:26] increased here. Now let's click on this. So as soon as we click on this, appears before us. Here we worked well these days. It might not have been working that well before that. After this,

[12:39] here you can see that its win rate is around 40%. Then here we are also shown return consistency and so on. After this, if I select Gold, then here you can see that no

[12:52] But if we go into the 30 minute time frame, one strategy starts working well. So now let us see here ? So his win rate is around 37%. So this is how we
