In this podcast, Huma Qureshi discusses her belief in manifestation and the Law of Attraction, sharing personal practices like journaling and visualization that she credits for her success, including living in a 7000 square feet bungalow in Juhu. She also talks about her role in the web series Maharani, her approach to acting, and her views on empowerment and success.
Huma Qureshi states she is living in a 7000 square feet bungalow in Juhu, which she manifested. She addresses skepticism by saying that because it hasn't happened before, there is space for someone to do it.
Huma emphasizes that the most important thing for manifestation is a blank space, an empty mind. She practices journaling as a brain dump to clear her mind.
She believes the human mind is like a replica of the universe, and the more you expand it, the more it expands. The timeline creates itself automatically; you just have to put the intention.
Huma explains that we think consciously (5% of the mind), but the 95% power is subconscious. This is a scientific fact according to neuroscience.
Huma shares that her whole life is a product of manifestation. She emphasizes that you have to really believe it and live in that energy.
She advises living in the energy of your goal, like how you would feel after achieving it. For example, if you want to win an Oscar, imagine how you would wake up, brush your teeth, etc.
If you assume your energy is vibrating at that level right now, you will always operate from that space. Success and failure don't change who you are.
Huma talks about quantum leaping, going from one energy state to another, which is not logical. She gives examples like breaking world records and Sachin's double century.
She discusses how conditioning from childhood stops us, including fear of success. People are afraid of success more than failure, leading to self-sabotage.
Huma recommends the book 'The Mountain Is You' by Brianna Wiest, which she reads every year. It's about how the obstacles you see outside are actually inside you.
She states that the fear of success is sometimes much stronger than the fear of failure. Beliefs about money and success are often instilled from childhood.
Huma has been journaling since childhood. She recommends 'The Artist's Way' by Julia Cameron, which is all about journaling.
She practices a brain dump, writing three pages to herself most days to empty her mind. This is important for manifestation.
Huma visualizes her day with the best possible outcome, playing it like a movie in her head. At night, she replays the day without judgment.
She recalls living in a PG in Juhu and always wanting a bungalow. She manifested it and now lives in a 7000 square feet bungalow.
She explains that the timeline creates itself automatically; you just have to attract it like a magnet. You can only change your own charge.
She reiterates that we think consciously (5%) but the subconscious is 95%. This is a scientific fact.
She mentions that nature always finds the easiest way, like water flowing. You have to allow yourself to be like water, as Bruce Lee said.
Huma emphasizes being specific in manifestation. For example, Bruce Lee wrote that he would be the highest paid Oriental star in Hollywood.
She suggests adding emotion to your dream to make it easier for the universe to respond. For example, wanting to be famous to entertain people and tell human stories.
She advises putting out your intention but not specifying the path. The universe will give you your own unique way.
Huma shares that every setback has a lesson and a seed for the next success. She gives the example of her role being cut in Jolly LLB 2, which later led to Maharani.
She reflects that the future always answers well, even if it doesn't match your imagination. It can be even more beautiful.
She discusses that intelligence is not limited to English speakers. People in villages have native wisdom, and empowerment is not about speaking English or wearing certain clothes.
Huma approaches roles from an emotional perspective, reaching the EQ level of the character. She surrenders completely between action and cut.
She can pick up accents like Bihari or Haryanvi by listening for two-three days and imitating them.
Before each season, the cast reads the entire script together for three-four days, guided by Subhash Kapoor. Rani Bharti has become part of her DNA.
Huma Qureshi's journey underscores the power of manifestation, journaling, and living in the energy of your goals. Her story shows that with belief and specific intentions, you can attract your desired reality, even if the path is not logical.

24:14[00:01] I am living in a 7000 square feet bungalow in Juhu. I manifested it. Now you will give logic that it has not happened till date, so how will you be able to do it? But because it has
[00:16] not happened till date, there is space for someone to do it. Sachin scored a double century. Believe it became. People change as soon as they get money. It becomes a thought process. But that is your conditioning. That is not reality. It
[00:30] is reality. A few years later when the Queen came to me. Maharani is a show which is known to everyone across the country and abroad today. It is the biggest show in India. biggest show in India. Hello Mr. Prime Minister, your proposal
[00:43] is rejected. If you assume that your energy is vibrating at that level right now. So you will always operate from that space. Whatever is going on in your mind, clear it because the most important thing for I feel manifestation is
[00:57] a blank space. An empty mind. So I started writing my diary. So whatever happened in my day, I would put it down on that page. The human mind, the more you expand it, the more it will keep expanding.
[01:09] Because the human mind I feel is almost like a replica of the universe. The timeline creates itself automatically. You just have to put the intention and things a magnet. Because we think consciously. Which is
[01:21] He thinks I will do this, I will do that, I will reach here. That 95% power is subconscious. Correct.
[01:33] So in between I asked him, do you believe in manifestation? So Huma I am living in a 7000 square feet bungalow in the zoo. I manifested it. Then when they start sharing their experiences. I was surprised to hear this.
[01:47] How did he use the Law of Attraction Manifestation? How a Delhi girl with no film background. He trained his mind to become a film star and while talking it never felt like I was talking to a film star. It
[02:00] felt like talking to a manifestation coach. He has narrated his journey in this podcast in such a way that each one of you can learn from it. That's what worked for Huma. How you can also try it and fulfill your dreams and goals.
[02:14] I spoke to Huma and learned how she used journaling during this journey. How she visualizes every day. How did he keep himself in that energy that he could reach this far. How she came to Mumbai and
[02:28] thought of living in a house which was not possible for her and today she is living in that house. And we also talked about her web series Maharani, how she got the role of Rani Bharti and what was her experience like. So if you're interested in manifestation, the law of attraction, and
[02:41] how to make your thoughts a reality, then you're going to enjoy this podcast and learn a lot. So let's meet Uma Qureshi, the girl behind Mausina from Gangs of Wasseypur, Pushpa Pandey from Chaurasia LLB and Rani Bharti from Maharani. Do
[02:54] you believe I believe in manifestation. My ol’ life is a product of manifestation. How? There are some things that you may have thought about and then now you have felt those real moments.
[03:08] Oh so many things. So many things I think, I mean I am a girl from Delhi and I was brought up in Delhi. And I think no one in our family has anything to do with films or creativity. So when I want to be an
[03:25] in your head. And literally when you start, I mean, right now I meet a lot of students. People who want to enter the business, they ask me. So I look at them and I'm like you have to just really believe it. And first you have to believe it and
[03:38] those days come. How do you think it will be? You sit at home and think that I don't know anybody. I have no connections. A How Will This Happen? And honestly, when people ask this, it means I can give you
[03:52] examples. I went there, met this person, this happened, that happened. But this does not matter much. What matters is world. What matters is what you think inside. Because only when you really believe it and you understand it and you manifest it. And I call it living in the energy.
[04:08] And you have to live in that energy. And it's because I know a lot of people manifest, but they fear. That you are manifesting. You are also journaling, thinking, meditating. But then after that,
[04:22] whenever you do anything in your life, you do it from a fear-based space. I believe you have to live in that you can call it I don't know superstar energy and whatever like you have to superstar energy and whatever like you have to live in that energy in your day to day
[04:37] life for example if a person has a dream that I want to win an Oscar for example then when you win then how will you get up, how will you brush your teeth, how will you eat food, you understand like you know I used to feel that oh the day I will win like some award and my
[04:51] film will do 100 crores I will win a Filmfare then something will change but the next day you wake up and like I still wake up as I am I am still doing the same things. So beyond success and failure, who you are remains unchanged. So if you believe
[05:06] that your energy is vibrating at that level right now, then you will always operate from that space. You said that my whole life is a result of manifestation. Or you have been a big believer in manifestation. So I would like to
[05:20] help those who have dreams and want to thought in your life that you want to become an actor and you do Correct and it became and it became. So in this, you said that I am
[05:32] talking about visualization, so what things did you follow? If you can share your experiences that I did this or but it is very important. It is just madness. In the beginning it feels
[05:45] think you will become a heroine. And I was like yes and suddenly you go like well I am Because everyone thinks that we do not have the qualities that are
[05:57] not have the qualities that are necessary to achieve success in our field. And what happens is that you find many such energy vampire type people who even eat up your brain. They also tell you negative things and give you so much logic
[06:12] which is their logic and their knowledge that you feel that yes, they are saying the right thing. But I feel that there is something that happens, we call it quantum leaping or going from one energy state to another. This is not logical.
[06:26] If this was logical then how would it happen? You know somethings when people achieve something. If I say that an athlete broke a world record. Now you will give logic that it has not happened till date, so how will you be able to do it? But because it hasn't happened till date, there is
[06:40] know what an interesting thing is? And this is actually a study that if supposing there are prepare, a study has been done that if many people are
[06:55] doing something together and supposing there is a record of that particular spot which has not been broken till date, you know, and if one person from that team breaks it, then within a few years that record keeps getting broken again and again and the logic, the science
[07:10] behind it is that once for example, if five or six of us are training together and one of my friends achieves something, then if I can do it, then I can also do it. As soon as that thought comes
[07:22] into your mind, it gets germinated and you will believe that you are capable of doing it. So you will believe that you are capable of doing it. So sometimes it's about that thing you know that you why can't I? Kind of a thing. I remember Roger's 4-minute mile,
[07:35] he covered a mile in 4 minutes, which was biologically The moment he did it. The next year, 12 people did it. That is what I am saying that till 2010, no one had scored a double century, the moment Sachin scored a double
[07:48] climbing Mount Everest, of course, now it is a very normal thing, picnic spot, now so much so that people are saying that there is so much pollution there on Mount Everest, you do not see any garbage and plastic and all this, all this is what happens, I
[08:03] think the human mind is the more you expand it, it will keep expanding because the human mind, I feel, is almost like a replica of the universe. The more we know about the universe or the deeper we go inside the human body, the more
[08:17] or the deeper we go inside the human body, the more levels keep getting And I feel that's really true. I Don't Think There Is An End To The Universe The Think There Is An End To The Universe The Human Consciousness And Manifestation.
[08:31] You stop that from your conditioning, from your childhood, you know. Because what happens here is that in our society there are what happens here is that in our society there are
[08:46] which we do not even realize. In our families, I think people are scared of mere failure. But I feel people are afraid of success too. We are stopped from this by saying that if you
[09:00] study too much on the basis of the number of sheets, you will start flying. You will forget your people. So there is almost a Such people are dirty people. They are not good. Basically,
[09:13] you yourself are stopping your success. You are stopping your own growth. Because you made that if my for example is a really amazing book which I really Is You. The Mountain Is
[09:26] The Mountain Is You. I read it again every year or once every two years. Because you or he realizes that whatever round or thing you see outside is actually inside you. Because sometimes we
[09:39] stop ourselves because we have some subconscious ideas about things that if we become successful then we will not be a good person. We will not stay domestic. We will forget family and love once. Our morality will get spoiled and there are many such
[09:54] morality will get spoiled and there are many such ideas but I feel this is very not true. Nothing like this happens. This is only because we are afraid of our success. only because we are afraid of our success. And the fear of success is
[10:07] sometimes much stronger than the fear of failure in people. also. And people around. This will happen everywhere. And that is the reason that many times such beliefs are created regarding money and are
[10:20] instilled in us that if someone saw in childhood that uncle and aunt always fight over money, then there will be a stress link with money. 100% ruins relationships. People change as soon as they get money. That becomes
[10:33] his every thought process. But that is your conditioning. That is not reality. Reality is what you make it and you can change your reality at any time. Which is when, I do n't believe in showing my hand in all this.
[10:47] Because of course I am sure there is a science to it and all of that. But I believe that you can change your life and destiny with your thoughts. And this means I am sure like a lot of people back this also that you can
[11:01] totally change your life with your thought process. background. No, it is not. It is possible that someone may not be biologically fit. But one thing was common and that was the thought process. Correct. Right. If that thing is not there then no matter where someone is coming from,
[11:15] And I say that only your inner world matters. We have seen so many examples of people who are achievers. Some come from very rich families from educated families. Some come from the very poor or from anywhere.
[11:30] come from the very poor or from anywhere. This is a common thing. If your inner world is strong, your mental health is strong, only then will you be able to achieve something. Otherwise, if I give you Kohinoor, you will not understand what to do with it.
[11:42] You will turn it around or dig it up or mortgage it because bankrupt within two to four years. Absolutely because you don't know what to Your first inner word that you created was that genuinely if I win a
[11:57] lottery and get Rs 100 crore, what will I do with it. So then you start living in their energy. Then even if you read the newspaper or get to know any news or anything happens, you study it from the place where you think
[12:10] that you already have that wealth, but when you do n't have wealth at all, then you just think, oh the money has come, spend it, do this, you don't know what to do with it, you are not behaving like this go away anytime. Right. This was a fluke.
[12:24] I happened to be ah when you said that live in that energy. What I want to understand a little bit is some practices or some rituals or some such things that you have made a part of your life due to which you have reached here.
[12:37] If you share that, we will be able to decode what happens behind it. So, when I was a child, I actually did not realise this. I used to write my diary since childhood. Good. So I did not know later that means it will be
[12:51] actually based. It was just that I think I read somewhere that dear diary should be written like this. Whatever I started writing my diary. So whatever happened in my day, I would put it down on that page. Then you did not know anything like journaling
[13:06] and journaling so now go and then later, okay this is what I was doing. It was just a dare diary and you vomited everything that happened in your day on the page. mother had read my diary and I was a little sad, but no, but jokes aside,
[13:22] I have been journaling since childhood. After that, I read a wonderful book, The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron, which I recommend everyone to please read. That book is all about journaling.
[13:40] become a writer but never got the opportunity, so now I am working somewhere. But someday I will write. And So Many People is one of their secret projects. Keep working on it. But I never gather the courage to
[13:54] Keep working on it. But I never gather the courage to and he always leaves that thing half done. There are so many unfulfilled dreams, unfinished projects that people abandon. I feel that somewhere
[14:09] inside you, there is a self-cybotaging thing which stops you from completing any task. Because again we are afraid of our success. I feel that if it happens then I will have to tell everyone. So, this dream of ours, which
[14:24] we have suppressed somewhere, we will become venerable in admitting it. If something about us becomes known to the world or becomes apparent, we do not understand how to deal with it. So this book is about that. It's a journaling exercise and when
[14:39] I read it, I actually realized that I had actually been doing this unconsciously for so many years. I used to feel like I was forgetting my friends, so I would write down whom I had to meet. What all needs to be done. A
[14:51] but it's like a brain dump. Empty whatever is going on in your brain because I feel the most important thing for manifestation is a blank space, an empty mind. Once a canvas is blank, you can then fill it with color. But when so much is
[15:06] going on in your past trauma, you know somebody said something to you, the to you, the ideas around your self worth, you will have to remove them first, so whatever has come inside you, call it smell, whatever smell it is, you have to
[15:23] similarly clean your mind, do like a big brain dump and then ah I try, most days I try and write three pages to myself,
[15:36] I mean of course when you are very busy and like right now we have a promotional tour going on then it is not possible. But on a normal day to day life I try and do a proper three page brain dump
[15:48] every day and I find it very helpful. And I also feel like I have a practice kind of a thing where I try and replay it in my mind. That because today,
[16:03] going in my car and I'm sitting, I just close my eyes and I just kind of go, like, okay, what do sitting, I just close my eyes and I just kind of go, like, okay, what do I have to do today? So, you can play the day in my head, you know, I play the day in my head with the
[16:16] best possible outcome. If I have to go to a meeting today, supposing what could be the best outcome? Not the negative one. Because sometimes when you man, I have to do this, I have to do that. I didn't get the job. You know, you're always thinking in a
[16:29] negative space. But I actually sit back and I'm like, okay, today I have to do these three things. And I'm going to sit and I always do this. Because I always put a lot of of stress on my neck and this thing. And I go like, I release that. And
[16:43] I try and think, okay, what is the best possible scenario for this? Day and I try and play that in my head like a movie and at night when my heart is over and at night when my heart is over sometimes it happens or may be 60 70% of the
[16:58] time it happens that what you think will happen does n't happen. It is very natural. Meaning even I think he is an echo of Fedor not meaning how many number of shots he missed in his career. So even if you are a tennis great you will not get more than 50% of the shots. So
[17:13] sometimes what you think does not happen to you. So what we do then is that we attach it to our self-worth. If I don't get that job then I am not deriving. My life is ruined. If one relationship goes bad, it
[17:30] means I will never find love in my life. You know what I am saying, our human mind always thinks in extremes. You are either the best person in the world or the worst, we are not normal. You know what I am saying, we are not normal.
[17:44] Either we have to be the best human or the worst human. And I feel like night turns into day when I replay the day. So again I try and play it like a movie. Yes. But I try and watch it without getting
[17:57] Without judgments. Without judgment. That I think is a very difficult thing. Because when you play that picture that you went there today and this person misbehaved with you or said something to you and you got hurt or whatever.
[18:12] So you always say no but still you feel bad. But I try and watch it like a film because I am outside it. It is not me. And maybe it is easier for me because I am an actor because sometimes I have done a film, for example, in
[18:25] which I have killed someone. Now genuinely I am a bit of a murderer, you know, and maybe I am, I am romancing someone who actually I have no relationship with, but it's not me, it's not homa, it's a character, so I feel from that perspective, it's very easy
[18:38] for me to watch my day, also, that okay, imagine I am not that person, I am outside it, and today a girl so and so was in such a situation, and this and this happened, and the outcome was not good, so what does it mean, just you just watch it, you don't try and give a
[18:54] solution to it immediately, sometimes just watching the day absolutely peace and perspective, nice, this thing that you shared is very powerful and good, it will be useful for many people, I
[19:08] also wake up in the morning and do this, that whatever is happening today, I podcast went very well We came and said this is your most watched show video ever that's what I ask you which is your most watched
[19:24] onion bowl Lovely, in between you talked about going to Mumbai and childhood, I would like to ask you one or two things about that but before I move ahead, have you ever seen such a visual or written such a thing in your journaling
[19:39] which in future, I mean now it has become a reality that you felt yes this was once a visual of mine or a thought written by me but the dream has come true or my house, yes yes
[19:54] live in a PG like this. For the first few months it was a PG in Juhu and it was a very nice PG. There was no such meaning in it. It was waaaaaaa sweet nice PG. But there were together. Sometimes there were two of us, sometimes three, it happened eight times that all four of us were there together.
[20:10] three, it happened eight times that all four of us were there together. And when I came here, They have bungalows. So I was like, when I become a big movie star
[20:22] in Juhu. And I always had that thing in my head. So whenever someone asked me to buy a property for my own residence, I would say I will not stay in the hut, I will stay in the hut. I do n't know how and I think earlier this year and you know I have not bought the
[20:37] place. I am renting it out but I am living in a 7000 square feet bungalow in Juhu and I manifested it. And I remember the day when we were looking at properties to decide where to shift and what to do.
[20:52] This was not our plan either. Meaning literally we had come to see some other property next to it. Somebody said there's something here too. And I remember I walked into the space, the door opened, and I said I had to stay here. Like it was just that and
[21:06] or that I I I that thing I manifested. Of course, now, that physical manifestation is actually a physical manifestation. It is genuine that I have manifested this in my life. Great great.
[21:19] And I think that energy thing will also be a big part of your life. during the years of struggle, 100% right then you would have told that girl who was in that PG with those four girls that brother, are you going to live in such a house or will
[21:34] your life be such that you will do all these movies. I wouldn't have believed it. How it will happen? So how do you think logically ? Yes, if I do this and then that, then what do you do? What do you start doing? You start making your timeline. But
[21:48] creates itself automatically. You just have to attract it. Think of it like a magnet. You know you have to, the only thing you can change is your own charge. If you change the charge within you,
[22:04] things will automatically come together. If you go and tell me, I will pick this up, I will pick that up. It is possible But actually the process is longer. Hmm. Its process is lagging. But if you change your charge and you keep going where you suppose to
[22:18] you. I think of it like that. And this is absolutely a fact and scientifically according to neuroscience. Because we think consciously. Which is 5% of He thinks I will do this, I will do this, I will reach here. That
[22:34] Correct. Right? Feel his energy and then intelligence, the paths he has to create, absolutely he will be better than you. Because genuinely, whenever you are stuck or when
[22:47] sometimes something doesn't work out as expected, I always tell myself. Well, what is my goal eventually? The goal is that right now I am on the shortest and the fastest way to my goal. And at any given point in time this fact happens because
[23:03] from where you start, that is where you have to go, it means this is the law of nature that nature will always find water, it go by climbing the mountain, so this is a law of nature that whichever is the easiest
[23:20] way, the water will flow, there you just have to allow yourself to be like this is a very nice ecology for the subconscious mind, it is a very nice ecology and Bruce Lee had said that we like water, we like water, correct, we like water, my
[23:34] again he also like, I saw somewhere on Instagram that his old workouts were hand written, you understand that to build that Bruce Lee body, you have to do repetitions. Bruce Lee body, you have to do repetitions.
[23:48] you can also do that workout, I can also do it. anyone can. What did he do differently? He just instilled thought, intention and discipline in him. That's it. Right. So, because he is also just a person like that, if he sits and eats cupcakes every day
[24:01] Bruce Lee. Yes. And there also, Sean later wrote to himself, " By This Year I Will Be Hollywood." He said I will be no. I will tell you I have read that
[24:14] letter also. Because I follow him. He said I would be the highest paid Oriental star in Hollywood. And he made that happen. So specific. Yes. Isn't it ? It's not that I will be very famous one day. Well, this is another thing, the more
[24:28] interestingly specific you are in manifestation about your intention, the easier it is for the Universe. For example, I want to be famous. This is very generic. Meaning, if you go out in the neighborhood, everyone knows you. So that also be
[24:43] famous. Right? How Famous You Want to Be? And what does fame mean to you? I also feel if you add some emotion to your dream then it is easier for the universe to make that happen, for example I want to be famous
[25:01] for what I know, if you say okay I want to be famous because I want to entertain people it gets a little stronger I want to be famous because I want to entertain people and I want to little stronger I want to be famous because I want to entertain people and I want to
[25:15] tell human stories and very India specific stories, you know then its different I am saying the more you refine your dream the more easier it is for yourself to understand the universe to also respond to
[25:28] yes plus your mind also takes a direction, correct, but how much money do you want to earn, correct, it is very railway station, go to the ticket counter, go to the ticket window and say Give me the ticket, will
[25:42] where do I have to go, where do I have to go by train, what time do I have to go world and the universe will reply in absolutely specific ways.
[25:54] specifics but do not specify its path. I feel what happens when dream, for example, I want to become famous. So everyone thinks that I just want to become famous like Shahrukh Khan. Put out your intention. I want to be famous.
[26:08] But you can be famous in your own way and the universe will give you your own way. That is his way. You will have your way. But if you try and say that no, you know and someone see your journey from this is how you became that you
[26:22] started 15 years ago like this, then did this, then did that, but it doesn't happen like this, you know your path will be unique, your path will be different, after looking at someone else's journey if you think that you know because we as human beings we
[26:35] beings we that something happened, okay now we track it back that okay this happened, so he did this, if I also do 2 + 2 then it will become four, but no,
[26:49] 2 + 2 in the world of manifestation can also be six, it can also be six, it can also be 22, it is not, it is not, it is not an exact science like that, we are talking about moving levels, we are talking about quantum achieving, you know which is not
[27:04] Just not following logical things right it follows some other math only yes exactly what you said no I can relate to this when I started so I am a great admirer and a fan of Tony Robbins yes ok right so I wanted to
[27:17] create impact like Tony Robbins. No famous big shows like Tony Robbins and talking to people with headphones on. when I tried to study Tony, there were no results. When I thought I have to create that impact, that is the roundabout way, then the subconscious mind
[27:32] decided, then YouTube came into the way of content creation why am I conditioning my brain to replicate it? Correct, correct. I feel that again, when we
[27:47] study like achievers, we try and then break it down into exact science that break it down into exact science that Tony did this, so if I do this, then I will get those results. But no, you are a different person, you have a different personality, you live in
[27:59] a different time, now different technology is available to you, so you will be silly. Actually, available to you, so you will be silly. Actually, if you do the same, then in today's times, if that beginning had been of such a person, what would he have done? That is what you have to figure
[28:12] Many times we have such moments when we wonder say that whatever happens, happens for good. Did you have any tough time or tough day when you
[28:24] thought, why is this happening to me? But now you feel it's for the good. You know every single time I have had a setback of failure. And of course I have also had a lot of failures and setbacks.
[28:37] I always try and tell myself something, there is a lesson in this. There is a lesson in this. There is a learning in this. And not just a lesson in learning. There is a seed in this difficulty a lesson in learning. There is a seed in this difficulty that will take me to my
[28:51] next success, the path which gets closed, actually that was a big path actually that was a big path when something like this happened and now it seems like
[29:03] of the positive once I don't want to talk about that whatever like whatever like Maharani you know I was not looking to do OTT at that point in time and Sony Liv was a new sort of
[29:16] platform scam had not even come then. And I remember Mr. Subhash Kapoor who is the creator of our show. I had jolly with them. Actually it was very good. Yes Actually it was very good. Yes I am correct. So I had met Subhash Sir
[29:30] because of Jolly LLB 2. small role. It Was Not Because It's About the Court Case Whatever. And when that picture was
[29:42] after editing. So I was very hurt that what is this, friend? This means that the role was very small anyway. Now after editing, there is nothing left because there were some important scenes of mine in it which when edited, they felt that in which I am
[29:57] taking some action or I am scolding Jolly, then that got cut. So I felt very sad that I did such a big film and of course a film did some 100, 150 plus and all of that. So now I was very happy. But I was also sad because you also feel
[30:12] that if any of your scenes is praised or otherwise you are just there and I always want that in my life that I want to do more. I don't have to do that heroine type role, just sing two songs and look beautiful, then your work is done. So I
[30:27] felt a little inside that I wish they had kept those two-three scenes of mine in the edit. Now, it did road block or something which was probably not good for you from that perspective, but a few years later
[30:44] when Maharani came to me and brought the same Subhash, he did not have any reason he did not have any reason because neither I am a Bihari nor I am from that area, I am a girl from urban Delhi, so I do not know what was going on in his mind
[30:56] when he and Sony offered me this show, but Maharani is such a show which today I think everyone knows in the entire country and abroad. This is the only show that has penetrated so much, you know, the masses, more than any
[31:12] film I would say, it is the biggest show in India and whether I go to interiors, Bihar, Patna, Lucknow or even abroad, London, Singapore, anywhere, the first thing that people see is Rani Bharti and Maharani. So I
[31:28] think that sometimes the thing that you think, because I had it in my mind that I am doing a big film, a big star, you know, it will be a big hit also, but maybe it did not play out the way it was in my mind, or as I thought, the
[31:43] as I thought, the beautiful, amazing, and even more beautiful than my imagination? Yes, that's what we are,
[31:56] future always answers well. At that time, I used to cry that what is it, friend, I have cut the role, it's done, it's done, Yourself means you understand but so I feel those things, whether you understand those things or
[32:09] not and that comes only from spirituality. That comes only from peace of mind. It comes from the fact that whatever is happening is getting corrected. You know what is there in this that I can learn and what is there that I can do better next time? It
[32:24] is very important to have that attitude. Well, something bad happened. I made a film with a lot of hard work. She did not go. What can we learn from this? What is the lesson in this? Should I separate? Because it is not that you have all the skills that you think you have.
[32:37] You know, as soon as we are born nobody knows, that means even we are human beings. Our parents teach us how to eat and also how to go to the bathroom. Otherwise I don't know. We teach children to write like this, speak like this and walk like this. Everything is taught to a human being. Which is a
[32:52] basic human function. So if you want to achieve something in your life then that is also a skill. Whatever you teach yourself, you won't have all the answers. But unless you take that first step and do not fall and slide, then how will you run, you know, one day you will
[33:06] not know until you get burnt, you understand 100% after getting burnt, brother, you should not touch this otherwise you will be finger in fire for the rest of your life, you know, if you do you will not even know, right,
[33:23] True, true, yesterday when we were sitting at the dining table, I was with my family at a dinner, my in-laws were there, my parents were there and when I told them that today is our podcast, after that for an hour we talked only about this show, everyone was admiring, I
[33:39] mean about that character, your work, amazing, amazing so much, please give them my love, thank you, thank you so much, please give them my love, thank you, thank you so much,
[33:58] character and her strength comes from very unexpected places. If I tell you that a woman who lives in a village and works in the fields and is not much educated, then
[34:14] not much educated, then immediately a thought will form in your mind that she will be like this, there will be no immediately a thought will form in your mind that she will be like this, there will be no unintelligent, all these adjectives start coming to our mind but somewhere through
[34:28] our mind but somewhere through this show, through its writing, which is the most beautiful part of this show, that even such people have intelligence. There is a native wisdom which you figure out while living your life in your fields or at home,
[34:45] which you figure out while living your life in your fields or at home, you cannot deny that wisdom. We feel that if someone does not speak English not smart, not intelligent. But this does
[35:00] not happen. Most of the people in our country may not be so fluent in English. But he is quite intelligent. He knows exactly how to live life, how to run the house, how to manage finances , he figures everything out. What happens is
[35:13] that we are not able to articulate ourselves in English. But because we are so influenced by English, you know, after the British left, we by English, you know, after the British left, we
[35:27] little better. He is one within us. French were very comfortable, the Japanese are very comfortable, friend, those who ruled, we are still in the mindset of slavery, but in this show, the issue of
[35:40] empowerment comes up again, so even I would say that not only a girl who speaks English and wears certain clothes is empowered, not at all. I feel that I have seen feminism or empowerment in our
[35:55] lives, also for example, the women who come to work at our homes, they may be running their entire house, they may not know the meaning of feminism, but they are doing all those things, you know, and these are the original feminists, these are the actual feminists, they will
[36:10] not be able to express this to you, but they are doing all these things. Yes, how did you prepare yourself for this character, friend, I don't have any such method, yes, that I
[36:22] yes, that I very switch off switch off actor. And I think I just approach any role
[36:34] from an emotional perspective that I have to reach the EQ level of that character. I don't intellectualize it much because
[36:46] you know like I know I see a lot of people, actors and even directors get this way and have like So I think because of that thing the performance becomes a little dead. I like to go through the emotional way that if this person is there and I really try and empower that person,
[37:02] what will this person do now, then you take yourself on that journey and between action and cut, I try to surrender completely, I am in that moment, I am present, I am fully on that
[37:15] emotional wavelength on which that character is and then things happen automatically. I don't you don't have to overthink it and there is nothing else. But this character means she is talking in proper Bihari, you know,
[37:30] trained myself on this diction, I imitate it very well, so after some time, then I can pick up the way you are talking, the pauses, the meter, and it is easy for North, so it means the language of Uttar Pradesh, any, it
[37:46] language of Uttar Pradesh, any, it means accent or Bhojpuri or Haryanvi, I am able to hear it, if I listen to it for two-three days, then I will pick it up. I will copy it. So I may not be able to speak the language but I will definitely be able to imitate it.
[37:59] So, when the process starts, every year, that is, in four years, this is the fourth season of Maharani. It's like a great track record and
[38:11] we all meet before every season. Subhash Sir, both our writers Nandan Uma ji or producers Dimple Narendra ji and whoever the director of Sujan is, in this season it was Puneet Prakash who directed it and the entire cast and
[38:27] we spend three-four days reading the entire script from beginning to end two-three times and listening to each other. And of course Subhash Sir's own accent of speaking is very strong. So he guides us a lot
[38:43] and I think after that now Rani Bharti has become a part of my DNA. So, right now I don't have to do much preparation. Now I know who she is. Now I know who she is. When I watched the entire episode yesterday, I wondered
[38:57] how many months it would be. But probably you are so strong in empathy that you go by EQ. You go by the emotional question. Yes. Yes, I understand only EQ. I am not that smart. I only understand EQ.
