[13:24]
World Record and Conclusion

The stream set a world record for most money raised in a livestream. The speaker notes that 75% of the stream was Mr. Beast dialing, and compares it to events like Awesome Games Done Quick, which raise less over a week.

[00:01] hear anybody talk about when it comes to skills that content creators have. And this particularly for about Mr. Beast, this is so cool for marketing nerds and salespeople. I was watching this marathon that Mr. Beast just did where

[00:14] he was trying to raise $10 million with Aiden Ross and XQC for his charity team, Water. He basically spends 15 straight hours on the phone calling up millionaires and billionaires trying to get them to make money for this and

[00:29] raise money for this whole charity. It's like a master class in sales here. Watch this. This is so crazy. >> Yeah, we're uh Yeah, we're uh trying to raised for charity in a single live stream. We've been live for almost a

[00:41] >> Crazy sales opening. Okay. >> Uh this is right here. what I tell you about this in a minute. Uh Scooter's money just went through. We're at 11 million raised out of our goal of 12 million. If we beat that,

[00:54] yeah, we were like, Scooter, who are some very handsome, generous, >> complimenting significance, >> nice people? And he's like, yo, my boy are. >> All right. Well, you know, yeah, I got I

[01:09] >> Whoa. >> Okay, so check this out. All right, here's the twist of this story. This dude had never even talked to this guy. He had Mr. Beast didn't even know who this guy was or what he did. Look at

[01:21] >> Casey, what do you do? How do you >> a little bit louder? >> Doesn't even know what he does for a >> You just You sure? >> But he got $300,000.

[01:34] >> 100%. I support what you guys are doing. I think it's awesome to really connect and find new ways to generate money and teach the next generation that giving can do to support that, I'm in for. Thank you so much.

[01:47] applause. >> Yeah, that's crazy. thing. >> We have 160,000 people watching. There's have 160,000 people watching >> in the chat for you. All right, Casey,

[02:00] is there anything you want to say to them? I mean, you just donated 300 grand kind of like talk to the crowd and everything. So, like huge amount of person that probably never gets in front of these types of people. And this is a

[02:13] And this is a skill that I I talk about a lot on my Patreon and a lot about like in in just like business conversations. It's a skill called agency. Agency is in my opinion like the way you define agency is you have an idea. Okay, an

[02:27] idea or you think of something that doesn't exist. doesn't exist. And agency is the speed at which that idea becomes real or becomes action.

[02:41] What impresses me so much about this clip, and I'm going to show you a couple entire like stream is a really good example of this kind of thing going on. But what I what I am so shocked by is Mr. Beast's ability to turn an idea that

[02:58] he has into something that is just a pure action instantly. And that may not seem like a really big deal, but for anyone that's been in sales, like when I started in my sales, the very first job I ever did, I had to do bank security

[03:11] software, and I called 50 people a day, mostly like CFOs and people that were at the hardest thing I've ever done in my life to date because it's so scary to like pick up the phone, you think about it a time, a ton. For him to just call

[03:25] favors and things like that is like a really really unique skill. And and and think a lot of people are going to say something like, "Oh, well, like he has a course, like he can just call these

[03:38] started with this clip where he doesn't even know this person because he's just calling anyone he can think of. It's not It's not that he has a ton of connections so he can do this. It's that because he lives this way 24/7, he has a

[03:51] lesson here for anybody that you can kind of just do things. Let's look at some other really cool stuff that he did that um so this is the one with Sophie Sophie Rain. I think she's like the number one creator on Only Fans. Uh he

[04:05] then he gets this >> sure how to. So I'm glad you called me. >> Because um I want to donate a million dollars is what I want to donate. >> Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. I I think my phone Did you say a million?

[04:18] >> Yes, I want to donate a million dollars. >> So this is a super cool uh And she did. She did donate a million dollars. So, this is a super cool thing because maybe happened if he had indialed her. Like the fact that he like she was thinking

[04:32] listen to her. She didn't have a clear call to action to like how to make it >> Okay. >> Because um I want to donate a million >> Phone. Did you say a million? >> Yes. I want to donate a million dollars,

[04:46] >> but I'm just not sure how to just because it's so much and I wasn't sure. team could get in contact with your >> Yeah. No, we will we will uh we will get happen instantly, right? So, like possibly that a million dollars would

[04:59] have never been raised. This is such a cool example. I hope I hope there's somebody and let me know if you're this person in the YouTube comments, okay? I this as hard as I am that has some kind of sales or marketing background that's

[05:11] such a that's such a cool thing just happened." Because what happened here in my what I think just happened was Sophia maybe Sophie never donates like in another alternate reality. there there's just like just because she was sitting

[05:26] million dollars to give to this thing, but she doesn't know how to connect the ice. She never texts Mr. Beast, right? It's just like kind of like a like a her and created that opportunity makes a

[05:40] like transform that and you think about that in the context of like how many business? How many people could you outbound as like a creator? How many that opportunity is literally just sitting there waiting for you but you

[05:53] did but you just didn't take that opportunity and the fact that like this is just such a cool thing. I don't know about this clip like super hard. Okay. Um another one this one is so he's just like dialing um content creators and

[06:08] listen to like just like how his sales is going to be a little bit more been in a lot of videos. So, it's not like he's talking to like the guy before

[06:21] even talked to. But he does. But I want to note that he like he literally talks like to every single person he talks to. Okay. >> You know, we're coming down the home stretch.

[06:35] >> Sure. Surely I can get some Surely you want to give some clean water to people >> 100%, bro. You know me. >> Well, and before you say a number or you know, between all the streams, 200,000 people are are watching and this

[06:49] will probably get clipped. You know, >> this is like so good. Hey, just to let and they're this is probably going to get clipped. So, like the amount and put it on the spot? >> Definitely. now that I said that. And so

[07:02] hundreds of millions that are going to watch on other social media platforms, I'm sorry I'm being a bad friend and just playing poker and having fun. What uh you know what do you what do you what

[07:14] do you think you could do? >> Well, need to preface. I don't stream on >> Okay. >> And then like he's got that open-ended silence at the end like the classic sales technique like just sit and wait.

[07:27] you know, money's not as big for me. Lost three mil last year. >> How did Lose three million last year? That's got to be esports related. I I know of nothing that can spend money faster than esports.

[07:40] >> Get the crazy gambling deals. We understand. But still, you know, >> Um, >> so he's just still just what? Let them >> I'm going to gamble. You know what? I've been gambling. I've been winning. I'll

[07:53] right? So, it's super cool. All right. We're going to watch one more. Okay. Uh this is like directly from the kick stream. And this one, do I have it up here? I think. Yeah. So, this is Karina. Okay. So, they're just sitting around

[08:08] who to call. And they and like it's 15 hours of this. Like, it's just it's just know and a bunch of people they don't know. And and one of the coolest things I see them do, this is this is basically all Mr. Beast, I think, and and I I

[08:21] think that he's pretty clearly the the business dude here. XQC also helps with but like Mr. Beast is really doing the dialing for like most of this. And I I does is he's like, "Can you intro me to one other person?" Does he do it in this

[08:36] clip where uh he like he literally just says, that's as handsome and and awesome as you >> What do you do? How >> Let's see

[08:50] >> for you. All right, Casey. I mean, you just donated 300 grand. I'm I'm good. the Olympics. Uh >> oh, no, no, no. I got the clip. No, no, this is this is this is a different one. Okay, it's this one here. Watch this.

[09:02] >> Just donated AC because So now >> 25,000. >> Keep going. That that just so you know for context,

[09:14] someone in need because everything we're doing is raising money to give people else that's rich we could harass for money? Amazing ask, right? Oh god, I technique. Can you give me one other person that I can harass? And now you've

[09:30] got a warm lead, right? You immediately call that person up and they're like, "Oh, hey, like, yeah. Hi, Mr. Beast. Um, this person told me that you're willing Like, what an ask. Oh my god. Okay, so this last one we're going to watch,

[09:45] >> Yeah, cuz Karina makes content. I got you. Um, yeah. Karina, didn't she just do a vlog? Bro, I saw a clip yesterday on Twitter of Karina saying she has $14 million in one of her bank accounts. >> So, he figures out that she he saw a

[09:59] >> How much? >> 14 million. smaller accounts. >> Okay, listen. I want to save him. Don't be weird. She's kind of stingy. >> Yeah. Well, she said it was one of her

[10:12] some money over. >> Bro, she just dropped the bomb that I feel like >> Okay, you just hand me a phone. >> Hey Karina, how you doing? To

[10:24] >> totally like cold lead here. Okay. And like like called her and she uh the >> Good. How are you? >> Good. So um you know we're uh streaming in front of 200,000 people right now and um we're just uh doing this thing where

[10:38] uh we can't stop the stream until we raise 5 million for charity. And so far me, Aiden, and XQC have raised $4,357,58363.

[10:50] wanted to help out. And I just remember seeing a clip on Twitter like a day or million in an account or >> he references the clip. >> I'm just curious if you wanted to help us out a little bit. Maybe just throw

[11:03] stream. And that was >> Oh, look at this. Look at this champ. I just looked over W salesman. >> Oh, sorry for waking you up. I apologize. >> It's okay. Yeah. Um, can I do this in

[11:16] time-sensitive thing? >> Okay, this is why I chose this clip. You the morning? Like, is this a time-sensitive thing? Barrier. Okay, this is the first barrier that we've seen here. So, this is like a, "Hey, can

[11:28] stream's going to be over, right? Like, she gets out if if he says yes to this. >> Well, if you just say a number, I'm sure you're good for it. If But if there's anything that pops in your head, um,

[11:40] So, you see what just happened there? Doesn't take the no. And then silence. >> it's like a timesensitive thing. >> Well, if you just say a number, I'm sure you're good for it. If but if there's anything that pops in your head, um

[11:55] >> I'm a number right now. >> 3 seconds of silence. Another to wake you up and put you on the spot, but if it makes you feel better, every dollar you say is one year of clean water for someone in need.

[12:11] >> Okay, no worries. We got all day. >> Sorry. Was not supposed to square. Okay. swearing. [ __ ] >> Okay. Where do I go? Do I go to a the morning. If you just tell me a

[12:26] I'll I'll just >> It's like still getting that commitment. >> Donate it and back it up. So, what what are you thinking? What What's a number are you thinking? What What's a number that you know you'd like to donate?

[12:43] >> Let's go. Thank you. All right, enjoy your sleep. >> Outrageous. That's like like right there. If that's not one of the best examples of a sales call, that's like Wolf of Wall Street level education that

[12:58] he just did like totally for free. I love this stream. This is like so cool to see. He that there's so many barriers there, right? Like he doesn't have a warm lead. He calls her up. He's waking her up. He gets like three levels of

[13:11] resistance. He pushes through and he just like sits in that silence. It's Like, let's let's do it. Let's do a number. It's for it's it's for raising Just super cool, man. So, so at the end

[13:24] of the day, these guys set the world record for the most amount of money raised um ever on a live stream, I think. And they also did like a ton of don't know what this is. is they had they had like they had a ton of stuff

[13:37] they had like they had a ton of stuff going on, but pretty much 75% of the stream was just Mr. Beast. Like they also had this really cool initiative would have you on stream to talk about things. So certain brands like came on

[13:50] and that probably helped a lot as well. Uh like it's not just that it's for such a good cause. I just think it's also like a master class in how to how to do this. There are entire streams that last for weeks that do well. So live caveat

[14:05] things I think that the live streaming medium can do is is events like this events and people can participate in real time. And so the the donations and the and like the charity work and the stuff that you do is is is uh really

[14:20] real time. Uh it's something that that Train Rex and I did a lot when we ran the Scuf podcast where we would do these like live sessions for for certain wildfires. We did we did like color of change and we would we would like have

[14:33] this live element. So like when they capitalize on things like this um some of the coolest streams that do this kind of stuff. I love um awesome games done money but like for context like awesome games done quick usually raises like $2

[14:46] or $3 million by the end of the week for someone like Prevent Cancer Foundation or for St. Jude or somebody that takes a whole week of them 24/7 with like tons of streamers and tons of collaborations to do this. M Mr. Beast literally does

[14:59] this in like 16 hours with like two other content creators and with not a ton of like production quality like like this is this is like not even like a they're most mostly just like sitting around dialing people and and like and

[15:13] things like there's a couple of events and things like that but it's like of the stuff that Kaisen did where he has like a luau and stuff on on on live just wanted to talk about this because I thought it was really cool. It might

[15:28] get five views because there's like four other marketers out there that are like, "Yeah, sales strategy." But I don't care. I thought it was awesome. That's Oh, you know what? I didn't do a secret call. I'm I'm I'm back on YouTube for a

[15:42] long time. So, if you like my Devon Nash type stuff, I have a Patreon. It's a It's patreon.com/devanash. And listen, it's 150 videos. That is not a lie. 150 unique videos teaching marketing and

[15:55] unique videos teaching marketing and sales stuff um for $5. Literally $5 you get 150 videos. That is not a joke. You can go to patreon.com/devanash and sign up. It's it's actually awesome. We also have like a mastermind where I

[16:07] channel, I'm going to be doing a lot more of this stuff. Um you know, head Thanks. I'll see you guys again next time. Bite.
