This video presents an updated Mythic+ tier list for Patch 10.2, Dragonflight Season 3, following the latest round of hotfixes. The host covers changes to melee, ranged, healer, and tank specs, highlighting which classes were buffed, nerfed, or repositioned on the tier list, with special attention to the newly powerful Mage specs.
The video opens by noting that hotfixes buffed the classes that needed it most—jokingly Mage—and announces a short Mythic+ tier list update.
Windwalker Monks received significant damage buffs to core rotational abilities, moving them to A tier. Their new damage, combined with a unique utility toolkit, makes them valuable in melee-focused groups, especially with a Restoration Druid healer.
Outlaw Rogue moved back to S tier because Havoc Demon Hunter got slightly nerfed, closing the gap. Outlaw is now the best Rogue spec in the five-man format.
Assassination Rogue was merged into A tier alongside Enhancement Shaman. Enhancement received spell damage reduction but still has core survivability issues for the entire Shaman class.
Ret Paladin stays in A tier despite a 3% damage buff. Havoc Demon Hunter remains the best melee DPS even after the nerf.
Every Mage spec was buffed. Arcane, previously B tier, leaps to S tier thanks to impressive priority and AoE damage, plus the undervalued Prismatic Shield barrier. Its cooldowns don't line up with Breath of Eons unless Augmentation Evoker isn't in the group.
Frost and Fire both moved from A to S tier after big buffs to major rotational spells, solidifying them as top-tier pumpers.
Affliction and Destruction Warlocks got buffs but remain B tier until more data arrives. Devastation Evoker received moderate damage increases but is still overshadowed by Augmentation Evoker.
Both specs got much-needed buffs and moved up to B tier, with the caveat that more data is needed for a solid assessment.
Resto Shaman received key healing buffs, including a big increase to Healing Surge, moving it to A tier. However, weak AoE healing tools outside major cooldowns and a long ramp time limit its effectiveness.
Despite nerfs, Mistweaver remains S tier because the changes didn't hit its core toolkit. Its ability to funnel-heal and manage bigger pulls keeps it among the top healers.
Vengeance was slightly nerfed but remains arguably the best tank, offering high damage, great survivability, unique control, and a strong raid debuff.
The hotfixes shook up the Mythic+ tier list, with Mages dominating the S tier and Windwalker Monks and Outlaw Rogues also climbing. While several specs received buffs, the top healers and tanks remain largely unchanged, with Vengeance Demon Hunter and the 'big three' healers still leading the meta.

03:00Mistweaver remains S tier after nerfs
Demonstrates that tier rankings can stay flat when nerfs miss a spec's key strengths like funnel healing.
06:07Vengeance Demon Hunter still best tank
Even with a nerf, the class retains the strongest mix of damage, survivability, and utility.
07:01Windwalker Monk buffed to A tier
Shows how targeted buffs can revive a spec for Mythic+ after being overhyped in preseason.
00:53[00:02] has finally decided to buff the classes that needed it the most which apparently was Mage I'm sure we can all agree that they've clearly had a rough year all right enough with the jokes today we got a short update to our Mythic plus tier

[00:53] skill cap.com today anyway back to the video let's start with melee and the one spec that saw some big games wind walker monks woke up on Tuesday to a big list of damage Buffs and will be rolling their way to the a tier the hot
[01:06] fixes included big damage increases to some core rotational abilities giving the spec a newfound confidence in Mythic Plus in the preseason we might have overhyped wind walker monk but now we're more confident in placing them in the
[01:18] high tiers this time given these changes after these Buffs monks are doing really putting out much better numbers on low count cleave combine their newly beefed up damage with a fairly unique utility toolkit and you have a spec great for
[01:31] Mythic Plus at least in the right comp with the current strength of mist Weaver the monk slot is a bit more competitive but will definitely be huge value in any melee focus group especially with a Resto Druid as a Healer and would you
[01:43] look at that we have our new melee tier list one thing that is worth mentioning is that we are moving Outlaw Rogue back up to the S tier not because it suddenly got better but because Havoc got slightly nerfed this has closed the gap
[01:55] Nerf to assassination Rogue Outlaw is now clearly the best rogue spec in the fiveman format while assassination is able to put out some impressive numbers assistance from the group due to the need to ralth getting those improved
[02:09] Garretts out for big damage because of this we're merging it into the a tier to join the other high performing melee one of these melee is Enhancement Shaman who patch with some additional spell damage reduction which is nice but doesn't
[02:22] really address the core survivability issue of the entire Shaman class to tier list we've merged Enhancement Shaman into the a tier with other high will be keeping Rett paladin on the a
[02:35] tier for now despite getting some Buffs 3% increased damage is not enough to Warrant any major changes and once again Havoc is still the best melee even after the course when it comes to class reworks they get massively buffed and
[02:47] rest of the pack currently though Demon Hunter continues to have a lead over other melee now it's time to move on to range DPS starting with our biggest winners in case you missed it every Mage spec was on the re receiv receiving end
[03:00] so let's break things down to see how this affects our previous rankings Mage who is jumping all the way up to the S tier from its previous B tier position Arcane was already doing some impressive numbers prior to these Buffs
[03:14] but appeared to be a bit too cooldown dependent to really have a spot on the high tiers arcane's impressive priority and AOE damage are enough to Warrant a spot on the S tier one additional thing worth mentioning is that Arcane is a
[03:26] really undervalued external with mass barrier Prismatic Shield is arguably the best barrier due to its magic damage reduction making this two-minute fights the only remaining concern for Arcane is that its CDs don't really line
[03:39] up with breath of eons but as long as an augmentation of ochre isn't in the group this is obviously a non-issue next up is Frost Mage who we previously had on the a tier but will now be moving its way up to S Frost saw some pretty big Buffs to
[03:53] Major rotational spells affecting both their single Target and cleave damage Frost was already in a good position as arguably the best mage spec so all these Buffs did was help solidify the spec as a true pumper the same can be said for
[04:05] fire Mage who was also on the a tier during our last update but we'll also be moving to the S tier just like Frost fire saw big damage Buffs to their core rotational spells which helps their single Target cleave and AOE DPS once
[04:17] again we have a case of a great spec getting even better and you really can't season and with that in mind we have our updated rankings for range DPS in Mythic that got buffed in the fixes including both Affliction and Destro warlocks for
[04:32] the meantime we'll be keeping both of these specs on the B tier but as wild outperforming our predictions if we see some more data Affliction saw some big Buffs to its AOE damage including Soul rot which is the core spell of their
[04:45] could wind up bumping Affliction IND Destro up but currently it seems like that saw some Buffs was Devastation of ochre who got a moderate damage increase to an AOE spell and a flat buff to overall damage this is great news for
[05:00] unfortunately augmentation still exists and is eating up any potential for Dev to have a solidified role in Mythic Plus finally both elemental shaman and Shadow priest got some much needed Buffs but
[05:12] up their overall performance for now we will be moving them up to the B tier with the caveat that we still need more data to make a solid assessment moving on let's cover the one Healer that saw gains in the latest round of hot fixes
[05:25] its way up joining preservation of ochre and Holy Paladin on the a tier Shaman saw a few key healing Buffs including a big increase to Healing surge which healing this season as one of the standout healers in season 1 Resto
[05:40] list in recent patches with healing output being a big limiting factor for its success these Buffs definitely help with spot healing but don't really seem which is its relatively weak AOE healing tools outside of major CDs Shaman can
[05:55] really struggle with AOE damage and need a really long time to ramp compared to Shaman is definitely in a good position now but is still lagging behind the ultra high tiers and with that we have our updated healer rankings with the big
[06:07] three still being disc priest mistweaver Monk and Resto Druid despite getting some Nerfs we will be keeping mistweaver on the S tier the Nerfs don't really tool kit where most of its throughput continues to come from spinning in a
[06:20] circle every pull Mist Weaver is continuing to put out impressive numbers in Mythic plus and is one of the few specs that can actually funnel heal which allows it to manage bigger pulls another healing spec to see changes was
[06:32] a talent that doesn't really see much play in Mythic plus because of this previous a tier position the last tier to see Buffs was holy priest getting a small nudge to overall healing and a buff to prayer of mending for now we
[06:46] because disc is clearly a much better spec and holy can't really compete with its damage or utility and finally we will move straight onto tanks where maybe there was a small nerfed to Vengeance but it's still arguably the
[07:01] best tank in the game demon Hunters are not only able to do a bunch of damage but have great survivability unique control and one of the better raid debuffs to help pump up the egos of any Mage in the group once again the tanking
[07:13] our initial predictions most specs are highly competitive even Guardian Druid keys this season anyway we said this is going to be a short update if you're sure to check out skill cap.com using the links below where you can preview
[07:28] all of our amazing class courses and dungeon guides and learn more about our rankup guarantee which promises you will gain at least 500 IO while using our you all for watching we hope you all have a great holiday season see you
