This video presents a tier list of DPS specializations for solo and pug content in World of Warcraft: Midnight, focusing on Delves, Prey, and low Mythic+ keys. The creator ranks specs from S tier (god tier) down to D tier (hot dog water), emphasizing survivability, ease of play, and carry potential over raw raid performance.
The video ranks DPS specs for solo players in Delves, Prey, and pugs, not for raiding or top 1% play. Focus is on specs that feel good solo, can carry low keys, and allow progress when playing alone.
Demonology Warlock is god tier for solo content due to the Felguard tanking, comfortable gameplay, excellent damage profile for single target and AoE, and strong defensive toolkit (absorb shields, Dark Pact, Soulburn Healthstone). It has great low-key carry potential and utility (health stones, soul stones, gateways).
Beast Mastery Hunter is S tier for solo content because it's one of the easiest specs to play, with a tanky pet that does everything. It's very forgiving, has Bloodlust, and is great for Delves and Prey, though it lacks carry potential in Mythic+.
The Unholy Death Knight rework is a home run. It's very hard to kill, has strong sustain, AMS for boss damage, and a straightforward rotation. Most of its kit is ranged now, making it a 'ranged necromancer caster with pets.' It has great low-key carry potential and utility (Death Grip, AoE blind, AMZ).
Retribution Paladin has the best utility in the game for group content (Blessing of Sacrifice, Word of Glory off-heals). It has consistent damage, good self-sustain, and strong defensives. In Delves and Prey, it can be a bit squishy but is above average overall.
Fury Warrior is a big surprise, being tanky with strong sustain through leech and Bloodthirst. It has good low-key carry potential, consistent AoE and single target damage, and brings an 8% attack power buff. It lacks the solo carry explosion of S tier specs but is solid and durable.
Survival Hunter rework is the best it's been in 5-6 years. It has insane AoE burst (Wildfire Bomb, boomstick), amazing defensives, and an easy rotation. Solo damage can be bad if specced for full AoE, so use a single target build for Prey.
Frost Mage is great for solo content due to the best control toolkit in the game (non-stop slows and roots). You're never touched in Delves and Prey. It has good utility (Dragon's Breath, Frost Nova, Intellect buff) and survivability with barriers and blocks.
All Warlock specs are A tier due to the best defensive toolkit for ranged DPS (Unending Resolve, health stones, Dark Pact). Affliction has slow ramp and poor low-key carry, but is great for solo survivability. Destruction has better on-demand burst damage.
Devastation Evoker has humongous frontload burst damage, strong crowd control (double Deep Breath, knockbacks), and insane low-key carry potential. It's mobile, has good utility (group buff, Bloodlust), and can dominate boss fights if specced into it.
Marksmanship Hunter has incredible upfront burst damage and is very mobile with a solid defensive toolkit. It can melt packs in low keys, but sustained DPS falls off after 20-40 seconds. It's straightforward for solo and pug content.
Elemental Shaman has a great utility toolkit (Bloodlust, short cooldown kick, purge, capacitor totem stun) and group buff. However, it's squishy and reliant on cooldowns for damage. Bloodlust in Delves and Prey is a huge advantage, and burst windows are incredible.
Frost Death Knight has an incredible defensive toolkit but poor low-key carry potential in Mythic+ due to cooldown reliance. It's okay in Delves and Prey if you can gather mobs and pop cooldowns (Breath of Sindragosa, Frostwyrm's Fury), but it's not as consistent as other specs.
Subtlety Rogue has good defensives (Double Feint, Vanish, Evasion, Cloak of Shadows) but low single target and priority damage. AoE numbers are good, but single target is lacking. Rogue has the worst utility in the game, making it not great for carrying keys.
Arcane Mage has a good damage profile but is not liked in Delves due to lack of control, setup time, and cooldown reliance. It's dominant in low, mid, and high Mythic+ keys with great pug utility (Intellect) and decent defensives, but too punishing for solo content.
Enhancement Shaman is reliant on cooldowns for high damage and has the worst defensive toolkit for melee DPS (Astral Shift is not good). Pug utility is strong, and damage profile is good, but it's terrible in Delves and Prey due to survivability issues.
Feral Druid can be good if you know what you're doing. You can survive by going bear form and using Frenzied Regeneration. Sustain damage is good for AoE, and utility is nice. Single target damage is good if specced into it, but requires swapping builds for boss fights.
Havoc Demon Hunter's damage profile isn't great right now, and utility is limited (Chaos Brand, some CC). They feel weaker and squishier than before. They're straightforward to play but just average for solo progression.
Outlaw Rogue has incredibly consistent and sustained damage, not bursty. Low-key carry potential is decent if you have a melee cleave comp. Utility is bad, but defensives are very forgiving for Delves and Prey (Double Feint, Vanish, Cloak of Shadows).
Assassination Rogue has very consistent DPS but requires a lot more setup, so it's lower than Havoc. It's better in raids than Mythic+ or Delves. Defensive toolkit is still good, but utility is bad. It feels clunky and ramp dependent.
Arms Warrior's damage profile feels inconsistent. Recent changes reduced Dreadnaught damage (AoE) and single target isn't enough to feel great. It has lower sustain than Fury, and there's no reason to bring it over Fury. Nothing is unplayable, but damage isn't good.
Balance Druid has big damage potential with unlimited packs, but ramp is difficult and takes time. Single target is fun, but clearing Delves is annoying. Defensive toolkit is manageable but not good. They're high Mythic+ key gods, but not for Delves and Prey.
Windwalker Monk is okay in Delves and Prey, but pure single target and AoE are not good. Defensives are okay but still squishy. It's a lot of effort for not a lot of payoff. They bring Mystic Touch, low cooldown kick, and AoE stun, but Brewmaster brings everything they do and is better.
Shadow Priest is great in high Mythic+ and raids, but to get everything going takes too long to ramp. For solo content, it's annoying. Utility is good (Mass Dispel, Silence, PI), but the kick is the worst in the game. Defensive toolkit is mediocre.
Devastation Demon Hunter has low sustain, not as good as Havoc in durability and on-demand damage. Requires too much setup. Utility is mediocre (Chaos Brand, decent control). It's terrible for solo content, one of the worst in the game.
Fire Mage is too combustion reliant, not fun in solo or pug content. Needs a pure spellcaster cleave to be viable in Mythic+. If you misuse combustion, you're in trouble. Pug utility is decent (Time Warp, control), but defensives are pruned. Horrible for Delves and Prey, terrible low-key carry potential.
Augmentation Evoker's damage is entirely dependent on the group. It's only good in high keys (12-14+) with high echelon players. Low-key carry potential is the worst in the game. Delves and Prey feel terrible. Pug utility is amazing, but it's not meant for solo pug chaos.
The tier list emphasizes survivability, ease of play, and carry potential for solo and pug content, with Demonology Warlock, Beast Mastery Hunter, and Unholy Death Knight as the top picks. Specs that are cooldown-dependent or lack self-sustain fall to lower tiers, while utility and defensive toolkits are highly valued.

17:33[00:01] much to play World of Warcraft nowadays, pretty much when I log in, I always try to pug a mythic plus key or two, do some delves, and get some progression done on my character while I can. I've realized as I'm getting older, I don't have time
[00:14] or the patience to build the perfect group comps, sit in Discord, and play today's video, I'm going to show you the best midnight DPS specs in a tier list for solo players for content like delves, prey, and people who join pugs.
[00:29] This is not a tier list about raiding, and it's not about being the top 1%. I'm talking about the specs that feel good in solo content, can carry in mythic plus and low keys if need be, and let you make real progress even when you're
[00:43] playing alone in Delves and Prey. Okay guys, starting off first with a really big underhanded pitch here. This one is easy. We're starting with the demonology warlock. This is god tier for solo content in general, whether it be for
[00:56] mythic plus and delves. We all know you got your fell guard tanking for you. He gameplay very comfortable. I play it on my Steam deck all the time and it's just very, very trivial, chill gameplay. It's awesome for solo content. Very rarely.
[01:11] little bit of your health into your fell guard and he'll pretty much just never a while. Uh, not only that, your damage profile across the board, whether it be for single target and mythic plus is absolutely amazing. All your damage is
[01:25] the move or doing other things, cuz it's all your pets dealing your damage for you. The setups are very easy. And not only that, other than delves and prey, your lowkey carry potential is very, very good for Mythic Plus. Your damage
[01:37] profile, very, very consistent, great for single target, if not one of the best in the game, very solid for AoE. You also have good utility with your health stones, soul stones, gateways, stuff like that. So, I really, really
[01:49] love it. And not only that, a very sleeper factor. And what makes a spec really good for pug and solo play is their defensive capability. We all know warlocks are the tankiest casters in the game. A ton of absorb shields with their
[02:03] called. You got their dark pack, which is like a half HP shield. You got your soul burn health stone, which gives you like a full HP heal. Top to bottom. Demonology is literally bred and created specifically to dominate in pugs as well
[02:16] as solo delve and prey content. One of the best, if not the best classes out there on this S tier list. Moving on to the next S tier, even though I don't love them in mythic plus right now, we have to put beast mastery hunter. Where
[02:29] is beast? There it is. We got to put beast mastery in the S tier only because they're one of the easiest classes to play in the entire game. Their pet is way tankier than felg guard. your men pet is just a click and forget and it'll
[02:41] smooth and consistent even through mobility. The only thing I don't love about beast mastery is number one inside of mythic plus they really can't carry damage and they're very consistent and easy to pick up but they don't have a
[02:57] carry potential. The only reason I'm putting them in S is because for delves and prey content, open world content, anything solo, beast mastery is your just phenomenal. Your pet does everything for you. It's very, very
[03:09] chilled, relaxed, comfortable. Another another class you can pretty much play on a Steam deck. You're chilling. Their pug utility is decent. Not much control. Nothing insane here. They got the blood lust, which is nice. Uh, but one is once
[03:22] defensive capabilities. They got their turtle exhilaration, couple of their pet interactions for some sustain and stuff like that. Very, very forgiving overall. Bottom line, if you want to log in, get things done very trivially, Beast
[03:35] Mastery is the way to go in terms of uh, you know, Hunter. Moving on. Next, we Now, I think it goes without saying the Unholy Death Knight rework has shot this spec just to to, you know, the moon. They they've gone to a stratosphere that
[03:48] be in, and it's absolutely phenomenal for them, you know, thematically, fantasy-wise, talent tree, design, everything top to bottom for Unholy is just a home run. Chef's kiss in my opinion. Now, when it comes to content
[04:02] for delves and prey, I mean, death knights are very hard to kill. They have so many talents baked into their kit on their class tree that just makes them strike, so their sustain is really, really strong if you need it. Uh, AMS is
[04:17] boss damage. And I really love in particular that as all this is going on, your rotation is very straightforward now. Your pets do everything for you and you're very, very chill, very, very comfortable class from range now because
[04:31] most of your kit is now entirely ranged. You only have one ability in melee range now. So, you're pretty much just a range necromancer caster with a bunch of pets. version of Demonology Warlock in my opinion. But whatever. In terms of
[04:44] lowkey carry potential for Mythic Plus, I actually think they have a really good shot at it. They bring enough utility to where they can help, you know, some with a lot of death grips, AoE blind value. Uh, they got their AMZ for big
[04:59] boss damage moments. I love their damage profile across single target and AoE. name it, they got it. I We don't need to talk about their defensive toolkit. It's line, Unholy pretty much does everything at a very, very high level right now for
[05:13] solo and pug content. There's no way you're not interested or at least raising an eyebrow looking at unholy thinking about picking it up. So, Unholy, absolutely S tier. Moving on now to A tier, which is the great tier.
[05:25] Definitely above average, solid, and if you pick specs like this, you're going to have an easier time. Let's start off with the very first one in my opinion, Retribution Paladin. Men, uh, for Pug and solo group content across the board
[05:37] for Mythic Plus and Delves and Prey, I think they're amazing. First of all, for group stuff like Mythic Plus, their utility potential is the best in the entire game bar none. You have your blessing of sacrifice for, you know,
[05:50] protection for your healer or anyone else if they get threat. You have your big off heals. Word of glory for off heals. You have everything possible to save a party whenever you need. I love that. So, for low-key carry potential,
[06:05] it's phenomenal. Damage profile, Mythic Plus is very, very consistent and solid. Very good there. Now, in terms of delves and prey, there are times when I'm playing my retribution paladin where I do get my ass kicked a little bit, but
[06:17] self- sustain, the best defensive in the game, like you got to know what you're survive boss fights. The other mobs in there, I whoop other mobs' ass with, you damage is with wake up ashes into things like hammer of light. So, the damage is
[06:32] fights, but they're still good enough to be able to pass through it. I do like damn good. They're pretty durable, but you got to know what you're doing from class to dominate damage across the
[06:46] they're all about their utility, consistent DPS, saving groups. So, they in solo, like Delve and Prey content, they're doing above average for sure. So, overall, they got to be in the A tier for me. Moving on. Next, a huge
[07:00] surprise through testing is Fury Warrior. I cannot believe fury warrior Warrior. I cannot believe fury warrior is great for solo and pugs in general. First of all, delves and prey system. They're actually pretty damn tanky. This
[07:13] freaking spec all of a sudden has a rework design talent tree. They have so much sustain through their leech, self-healing, and bloodthirst that they actually do really good. They don't just crumble and fall over compared to some
[07:26] talking about enhancement shaman there, but they don't just crumble or fall over. They're very durable, which is very good. Not only that, low-key carry potential is absolutely there for them. Very, very high continued uh good
[07:39] sustain DPS in terms of AoE, decent single target damage sustain. Uh they actually viable now to bring in your group. Uh 8% attack power buff is strong in Mythic Plus content, so they're reliable. I think they're good.
[07:54] Their self-sustain is solid. The damage is consistent. Very easy to pick up. I really like fairy warrior. solid durable spec. I just think it lacks that solo carry explosion I think that unholy death knight and demonology warlock
[08:07] have. Other than that, love fury warrior. Great, great, great spec overall. Moving on, next we have the brand new and improved survival hunter. Um, I'm going to be honest, I thought the rework to survival hunter was pretty
[08:20] direction they were going. After playing it a few months ago in the alpha, I admitted I was wrong. I was an idiot. And I think this survival hunter is now the best it's ever been in the last probably five or 6 years since Legion.
[08:34] great for solo content. Of course, you still have your, you know, pet. Your AOE damage potential on demand burst is insane. Wildfire bomb and your boomstick burst is ridiculous. Uh, your low-key
[08:48] because your defensives are amazing. You're not really going to die. Your AOE some of the best in the entire game. very very consistent, easy rotation. And them is if you're specked into the full AoE for Mythic Plus, your solo damage
[09:03] can be kind of bad. But with that being said though, inside of things like prey your spec. You make sure you're in your single target DPS build and you'll be
[09:15] just fine. So I think top to bottom, very, very good spec, great AoE damage, decent utility, amazing defensives with turtle exhilaration and stuff like that. Moving on, next we actually have another big surprise and it's Frost Mage. I know
[09:29] this because, oh, mage has no sustain. What are they going to do? Let me explain why mage is so good in things like low keys as well as delves and prey. Number one, mage has the best control toolkit in the entire game. Now,
[09:43] frost mage in particular is individually the best within a mage. They have non-stop slows and roost top to bottom. Whenever I'm in prey and delves, frost mage, I'm just never ever touched. There is never a time as a frost mage where
[09:57] I'm slightly scared in terms of delves or prey other than simply just fighting the boss. Fighting the boss can sometimes be worrisome, but if you have blocks and stuff like that, consistent barriers, and if you got Valyria for
[10:10] invisibility, she'll take aggro for a second, you'll end up being just fine. Not only that, I love their control. Once again, dragon's breath, frost nova, intellect buff is really good. The only thing I don't love once again that pure
[10:22] sometimes it could be a little bit worrisome but overall frost mage if you literally never get touched in terms of solo content. Uh moving on next we have comes to warlock overall and we're going to talk about destruction in just a
[10:37] warlock in general they have the best defensive toolkit for range DPS in the game bar none it's phenomenal. You got unending resolve, full health, healing, health stone, uh your dark packed, uh you name it. Like they have it. They
[10:51] improved now. So like they're just never really going to die. Your your sustain the roof. You tie that with a void walker. Every Warlock spec is a tier one because surprise surprise, destruction's here as well. Both their
[11:06] destruction did a little bit more damage. Um but affliction is solid as Affliction is that their low-key carry potential is not that good. They have like really slow ramp into big damage moments. So, in the low keys, they are
[11:19] going to struggle, but for solo content like delves and prey, I had to put them they're the best in the game in terms of survivability. So, absolutely love it. uh, soul stone across the board. Destruction's probably going to have a
[11:33] for the ondemand burst damage they have across the board. But overall, Warlock off, get them out of the way, and get to everybody else. Moving on. Next, we actually now have the Devastation Evoker. Now, Devastation is a class that
[11:47] I've never really loved to do for solo content. I typically just like to PvP and raid with them. Um, but one thing that's amazing about them is their humongous frontload burst damage. Like, right when a fight starts, their damage
[11:59] is incredible. It triggers their mastery the most. You can just delete things instantly. Not only that, your crowd control for delves and things like prey is really strong as well. You can just completely control packs of enemies
[12:11] alone, like very easily between your double deep breath combo and your knock But in particular, what I really love about Devastation is their low-key carry the entire list. There's only one other class that can really compete with
[12:25] dominant low-key burst destruction, and we'll talk about that in just a second, but their low-key carry potential is insane. pretty good utility with a couple of stops as well as their group buff as well as their blood lust effect
[12:37] toolkit. Overall, I like devastation. They're mobile while they can deal huge burst damage, really good on boss fights if you're speced into it. Uh can dominate low-key uh for mythic plus. So, I think overall they're they're really
[12:51] good in terms of solo power level. Uh moving on, next we have the marksmanship moving on, next we have the marksmanship hunter. Now, marksmanship once again in this very similar, you know, boat as Devastation. Their upfront burst damage
[13:03] is incredible. They're very mobile, really solid defensive toolkit as Hunter overall. I don't love that their utility is kind of low, but for low mythic plus keys, they're going to dominate and just melt packs in seconds. Not only that,
[13:17] your pet if you're speced into it. And then with your big burst damage, you can get rid of mobs fast and progress through all of your del tiers very very bothers me about marksmanship is they're like sustained DPS past like anywhere
[13:32] between 20 30 40 seconds. Once you get into a fight that lasts a long time, marksmanship starts to fall off compared to other DPS specs. But typically if you're just solo and pugging for delves and prey, it's very straightforward. As
[13:45] fine. That's why I think marksman's doing really good. Great defensive toolkit. Overall, a good spec. Moving on, next we have the elemental shaman. Um, I love my favorite thing about elemental is their utility toolkit. They
[13:58] got blood lust, really short cooldown kick, uh, they got purge, they got their AOE capacitor totem stun, uh, very high control overall, and just a lot of good things to bring to your party, as well as a group uh, buff as well. So, now
[14:10] with that being said though, one of the worst things about Shaman is their don't have them higher up on this A tier is simply because they're one of the and they don't feel good at all in terms of like trying to survive boss fights.
[14:24] Now, with that being said, their single target boss fight, if you're like spec full single target, having blood lust inside of Delves and Prey on your own is a humongous advantage. It is so big, especially for elemental shaman. They
[14:39] are very reliant on their cooldowns to be able to deal nuclear damage. So when a boss fight comes, it's like who's going to die first, me or you? And if should be able to live and you should be fine. But their damage just absolutely
[14:51] out of control. Incredible burst windows. It's pretty decent for low mythic plus keys if your tank pulls a lot. If the tank is pulling slow, whipped and you're not going to get a lot of value out of their, you know,
[15:03] offensive cooldowns. Moving on next now to the average tier. This is sort of the B tier, guys. These are those specs that can definitely function, but they're not great, but they're not bad. Uh, starting off first with Frost Death Knight. Now,
[15:15] the reason I have them in the B tier is very simple. Now, I know that they have an incredible defensive like toolkit. My problem with them is for Mythic Plus, when it comes to low-key carry potential, it's pretty bad. Uh, because
[15:28] cooldowns to deal damage. And if your tank isn't pulling properly, you're not everybody else. Um, I think they're okay in Delves and Prey. Their survivability is pretty good. Um, it just requires you to get a lot of group of mobs up and
[15:43] cooldowns ready. Pop your defensives, breath of dragosa, and the frostworm fury, and you'll melt everything. It's just once again, you're super reliant on ready. Compared to some other specs in the game that they just simply go the
[15:57] entire time, like demonology warlock, fury warrior, rep paladin, survival hunter, they can just go 24/7. Frost death knight, they got to do a little Uh, moving on next to Subtlety Rogue. Once again, another spec in the average
[16:10] tier. Now, I would say defensively they're pretty good. You know, Double Faint, you have uh Vanish to reset whenever you need evasion. Uh, Cloak of problem. I would just say their single target damage is pretty low. Priority
[16:24] damage is pretty bad for things like low-level mythic plus keys as well. And I would say their numbers are very stat patty, like very good overall AoE damage numbers. Single target damage numbers kind of lacking. not in love with it.
[16:37] Not only that, Rogue has the worst utility in the entire game. So, sue me. I don't think they're that great for carrying keys and low-level mythic plus. problems in terms of delves and prey in long drawn out boss fights. That's why I
[16:51] we have the Arcane Mage. I'll say it right off the bat, I think profile is really good. I just really don't like Arcane at all in delves. Like, I don't like them at all. Like there's never a reason that I play arcane over a frost
[17:07] mage and delves every single time simply because like I'm I'm not controlling mobs a lot. It takes a lot of setup and prep time to get up and running. I'm very reliant on my cooldowns to deal big damage. So like I'm not in love with it.
[17:19] I'm putting them in the B tier is simply because for lowle mythic plus as well as mid-tier and even high tier, they're absolutely dominant. Their pug utility Intellect. They have a decent defensive toolkit. Now, nothing great, but bottom
[17:33] line is that I think their ceiling is incredible, but just too punishing for for delves and prey for me personally. Moving on next now to enhancement say, to like frost, death knight, and elemental shaman because they're
[17:46] incredibly reliant on their cooldowns to deal damage at a really high level. Um, not only that, when you're doing solo content and you're fighting these sometimes. Their defensive toolkit is the most dog [ __ ] out of every melee in
[18:00] the game. I don't know how this is happening where they're removing their to me as someone who wanted to main enhancement. This is where we're at. Pug utility is really strong though. I think their damage profile is pretty damn good
[18:13] and they could do decent in low-level keys. My beef with enhancement shaman overall is Delves and Prey. I I don't like them in Delves and Prey at all. I pop ascendants and you're playing Stormbringer, you're going to deal some
[18:25] freaking stupid numbers. But my beef is their defensive toolkit is absolute swamp ass. It's the worst in the game for a melee DPS and it's a disaster in horrible. They have one button to press and it's not even good being Astral
[18:37] Shift. Uh survivability is a problem. Moving on. Next we have Feral Druid. Um I think honestly feral druid can go anywhere between up here a little bit. I think they're better than than you know Arcane Mage. I'll put them here. Um I
[18:50] whenever you need it, you dive into bear form, you pop frenzy regen, you'll pretty much never die. Uh, I think your sustain damage is pretty good in terms of AoE and I actually really like their utility. I may be having to put feral
[19:04] I could put them over sub rogue only because like if you know what you're doing on a feral druid and you're good, you should be just fine. Like you can handle any situation. Like if there's really high damage pressure in a mythic
[19:17] plus, you pop in bear, you'll never die. Same thing with delves and prey system. pop your frenzy regen and you're chilling. Um, I do like their single target damage if they're specked into it. So, it is a little bit of a pain in
[19:31] about to fight a boss fight in solo content, you got to swap to your single target build, go from there. Overall, not a bad spec, very consistent damage overall. Pretty good, I would say. Definitely average. Uh, potentially even
[19:44] you guys are going to have to let me know how you feel about that in the Next, we have the Havoc Demon Hunter. Now, of course, right off the bat, the damage profile of Havoc really isn't that great right now. It's really not.
[19:57] Uh, not only that, their utility is kind of limited. Of course, they bring their Chaos Brand and a couple crowd control options, but that's about it. So, when it comes to Delves and Prey, I worry about them when it comes to their raw
[20:09] them, their damage was great, which meant their leech was really good, right? But right now, their their their damage is kind of weak. They feel weaker them is they're very straightforward to play. They kind of remind me of Fury
[20:22] buttons, and [ __ ] should die. The problem is is right now their damage definitely got better overall this would say bottom line is they were formally amazing, but now just kind of
[20:35] average for solo progression entirely. Moving on next, we got the Outlaw Rogue. I'm going to put Outlaw, I would say, above Arcane below feral. And the reason for that is very simple. Their their damage profile is just incredibly
[20:50] consistent and sustained. Like it's not really about burst, not explosive at all. Their low-key carry potential is decent. If you're if you personally brew master monk tank, restoration shaman healer, uh fury warrior DPS as
[21:04] well as like I don't know, feral druid DPS, your melee cleave would just you'll blow through [ __ ] as an outlaw rogue. You'll be the carry. Your damage will be everything around you. Now understand
[21:16] utility-wise outlaw rogue swamp pass. If you just go and try to join a group, lot of damage and try to compete with some of these other classes in the game right now that aren't relying on a you know great cleave comp like you. So
[21:29] overall that's a problem. I would say their defensive toolkit is very very forgiving for delves and prey. Double faint is really good. Vanish to reset cloak of shadows and you can stealth past a bunch of [ __ ] if you need. So I
[21:42] don't mind rogue and solo content. I have beef with them in terms of mythic thing for assassination rogue cuz spoiler alert that's the next one on the list. Uh it's pretty much the same exact story. Very very consistent DPS but
[21:55] requires a lot more setup so I have to put them lower than havoc here. They are even going into subpar. I personally like the other two specs in terms of rogue over uh assassination right now. I think they're better in raids rather
[22:09] mythic plus delves. Uh, overall defensive tool kit still good. Utility still [ __ ] I think the other two rogue specs are better. I would say honestly put them in the subpar. Subpar tier is specs that can feel clunky at times,
[22:23] fragile, or just too ramp dependent. And I I think I think that's where we're at with assassination. Moving on. Next, we have the Arms Warrior. Uh, this one kind Warrior's damage profile can feel good, but then other times it just feels like
[22:37] dog [ __ ] like they just made a bunch of changes over to arms warrior the last few weeks and it really hurt this spec overall. They reduce dreadnot damage by a ton which is a lot of our AoE damage. Um your single target abilities like
[22:49] does a little bit more damage but it's still not enough to warrant it feeling great. Um I'm I'm really not in level arms warrior damage profile in general. Not only that, they have a lot lower sustain compared to fury warriors, so
[23:03] utility for melee cleave, but why would you bring an arms warrior over a fury warrior? That's a problem to me. I don't know. Nothing here is like unplayable, it. I don't I don't know. Their damage
[23:16] profile still isn't good either. Um, moving on next now, we have the balance druid. Um, balanced druid, I would say my biggest beef with them is that they their damage. And if you're playing things like elves and prey, it could be
[23:29] really really big numbers if you have like unlimited pack potential but to get to that ramp it's very difficult it takes a lot of time now I actually like balance druid and pure single target right now they actually are a lot of fun
[23:44] in terms of clearing the entire delve they're annoying their defensive toolkit is just manageable it's not good uh compared to some other casters for example um like warlock as well as even mage now at this point is still better
[23:57] course when it comes to low-key carry potential Everyone knows balance druid but they're high mythic plus key gods. So, if you can break that barrier, go up to, you know, high mythic plus keys, you'll be fine on balance. Don't love
[24:11] them in delves and prey. A lot of ramp. Not in love with this spec. Moving on to Windalker. Um, I actually don't mind windalker and delves and prey content. pure single target and AoE is just really not good. Their defensives are
[24:24] okay. They still feel very squishy. very, if you want me to just put it simply, it's just a lot of effort for not a lot of payoff. I don't know. I because they have a lot of control. They
[24:36] bring Mystic Touch, uh, low cooldown kick, good AoE stun. So, I think they have an option to be joined in a group. The problem is, why would I ever in a million years bring Windalker right now when Brew Master is pretty much S tier
[24:49] and they bring everything that Windalker brings? I will never bring a Windalker you right now, this class is in desperate need of changes. Overall, not loving them. I think they could be better and uh yeah, not in love with
[25:01] them. Moving on. Next, very similar story is shadow priest. Now, hold on a high mythic plus keys, they're doing great. And even raids, they were doing pretty good through the testing. So, I'm not upset about their numbers. My
[25:13] problem is that to get everything going on a shadow priest, and Lance will tell compared to like other specs in the game that could just go in there and deal damage. So, for solo content, playing a shadow priest is really annoying. And
[25:28] benefit of, you know, being an affliction warlock and have the, you know, pet with you being void walker to sort of set up and do things. Shadow Priest, you're alone unless you're spamming mind control, which you can do,
[25:41] control. So, it was just like unbelievably tanky and dealing way too much damage. So, we'll see if that's fixed in Midnight. But, I don't know. They take way too long to ramp. Their utility is pretty good. I like master
[25:54] spell. Uh, their kick is absolute the worst in the game with silence. And then you have PI, which is pretty good. So, it's not awful. uh but it's not paladin and shaman and stuff like that. Their defensive toolkit is kind of
[26:08] whatever as well. So not impressed with them at a pure pug and solo DPS angle. Good in theory just you know hard to dive into I would say. Moving on next. Similar story in terms of ramp devour demon hunter. We're putting them in the
[26:22] subp parts here only because of course this spec has low sustain not as good as havoc in terms of durability and just on demand damage. way too much required uh setup to be able to get going. I would say their utility is just mediocre with
[26:36] just chaos brand uh decent control. Nothing here is eye opening at all for solo and pug content. This is definitely a class that you want to go into highle keys with and cater a group built around caster cleave. And this is just not the
[26:49] spec for solo pug content. It's very very simple. If you've ever played devour in a del, it is [ __ ] horrible. It is not fun, terrible, not good at all for solo content. One of the worst in the game. Moving on next, speaking of
[27:01] terrible in solo content, fire mage. Uh, I got a lot of beef with fire mage. I video rambling about this spec. I made this one at the end of the season 3 of with it. Overhauled it. In my opinion, turned to [ __ ] This spec is just way
[27:16] too combustion reliant right now. It is not fun at all in solo or pug content, whether it be for delves, Prey, or Mythic Plus. So, with that being said, you need a pure spellcaster cleave to be able to really be viable in Mythic Plus.
[27:30] combustion to be able to just go into pugs and be like, "Okay, if I misuse combustion, I'm in deep dog hot water dog shit." All of your damage is in Pug utility is still decent. Of course, you got your time warp, really good
[27:46] control. Defenses are, you know, pruned substantially, so that's not even a on fire mage, so that's still fun. But overall for Delves and Prey, horrible. Fire mage is not even close to frost mage. And low-key carry potential is
[27:59] absolutely terrible. Uh really, really bad outside of damage cooldowns. And then we have the Dtier hot dog water. Absolute swamp ass tier augmentation evoker. You guys can hate on me all you want. You 12 augmentation mains in the
[28:12] love augmentation as a spec. I think the game. Give me a mage support. Give me a paladin and a shaman support. Let's all be supports. problem is their damage is of course entirely dependent on
[28:25] perform good on augmentation unless you're in 12, 13, 14s. Like, you need to hit a high echelon of players to be able to dominate. So, low-key carry potential, the worst in the game. Delves and Prey still feels terrible when
[28:40] know. I did it all throughout season 3 of The War Within. Not fun at all. Um, pug utility is still amazing. I'll give them that. But you require an S tier damage on augmentation. Don't like them in solo content. Devastation
[28:55] coordinated group, maybe there's an argument for them to be pretty high tier. Without it, no. They're they're definitely not meant for solo pug chaos. Absolutely not. But yes, ladies and gentlemen, that is our tier list. Uh we
[29:08] got the gods, the great tier, average subpar hot dog water. Listen, you guys the comment section below. I'm dying to hear your thoughts. Midnight is literally 2 weeks away. Holy [ __ ] Time
[29:20] to freak out, you know. Let the phone off the hook. Send the kids off to the grandmothers. Tell the wife you're busy. It's time. Midnight is here. I love you midnight content coming soon. Have a good one.
