The NFL Futures Mistake Costing You Money Every Season

[00:02] away at this point, which means NFL futures bets are going to be getting hammered right now. So, they're going to be up on PrizePicks, Underdog, FanDuel, any of the books you use are probably at some point, if they don't already, going

[00:15] to have futures up. So, today we're going to look into those. We're going to show you this tool that is going to be exactly what you need for futures, because it's going to drastically change the amount of profit you can make on

[00:27] these futures just by using a different book that's got better odds here. I'm inside of OddsJam here and we're on the sports book screen. And so, for example, markets for the first couple games, right? But, what we're able to do here,

[00:43] instead of main markets, we can type in passing yards, for example, right? So, we can do player passing yards and it'll do not only for the games, but if we go here one more time, we can go in and we can see that we've got futures for

[00:58] leader, regular season passing touchdowns, and regular season passing yards. So, let's just go with the touchdowns leader for right now. So, to have, you know, passing touchdowns or passing yards leader available yet, just

[01:12] cuz it's still fairly far out, but they are going to have things like regular yards available. And you can see here, for example, we've got DraftKings, FanDuel, PrizePicks, and Underdog available already for these futures. And

[01:25] to notice there are some pretty big discrepancies for some of these, right? Now, for example, this first one, nothing crazy, but you've got 50 yards for Jordan Love, right? Of a discrepancy here. So, you've got 3525 and you've got

[01:39] 3540 and 9 here. So, 50 yards, again, nothing too crazy. You've got a full 100 like his over, you would want to play it on PrizePicks with another play, right?

[01:51] Because you've got his over at at this line versus at 3600 here. Now, obviously the odds are different as well, right? But, you can't get the odds at 3,500, something you can just alt down here on FanDuel. So, you could go ahead and if

[02:07] you like it over 3,500, go for that. And again, you'll continue to see discrepancies like this on these plays. Now, the other thing to think about, right? Now, we've got an example here, right? Again, it's only 50 yards, but

[02:20] you not only you're getting the better odds for Dak Prescott at minus 114, but you're getting 50 more yards that you're able to go under because it's at 4,000 here and 4,050 over on FanDuel, right? Um and again, it's 3974 here. So, right

[02:34] around 75 different over on PrizePicks. And again, it's going to be the same going to probably see even more discrepancies here just because it's so variable with teams that got multiple players in the backfield. And now, why

[02:48] yourself, "Okay, this is not that big of a deal. Like, it really doesn't matter. It's not that important." Well, let's just look at these odds, for example, here and we're going to grab one example right off the bat. Now, let's say you've

[03:00] got Trayveon Henderson. You want to go over 699 and you play it on DraftKings at minus 110 versus minus 137 for PrizePicks. Well, if we've got it at 110, so minus 110, we come over here to the parlay calculator and then let's

[03:13] find a similar one that's got the same odds here. So, again, if we like Tony Pollard for the over at we've got it at minus 110 versus minus 137. Well, if we go minus 110 here, right? We are now going to get a payout of plus 264 for

[03:28] the odds. So, we're going to get $264 of profit here. Versus, if you play this as a two-man over on PrizePicks, you would get minus 137 for each of those and you're only going to get around $200. So, you're missing out on a good chunk

[03:42] of profit for the same exact play for no reason other than you're just not just using PrizePicks or FanDuel or whatever is the easiest for you here. right now there's really only like four main books that have these futures up.

[03:56] End of July, as we get closer to preseason, there's going to be a ton of of different prices. So, it's super that because you're going to have a lot of softer books starting to offer these,

[04:09] all over, and you're going to be able to make the most money possible by using this tool. The reason this is so important is because not only can you use this to find better lines. So, let's say you like Christian McCaffrey, right?

[04:22] Not only can you say, "Okay, I like his over, so I'm going to go ahead and I'm going to play it over on FanDuel because that line is lower." But, you can say, PrizePicks even though it's a lower number because I'm getting it at -137

[04:36] odds versus -114 over on FanDuel." So, you're getting better odds, and you're like this as opposed to just loading up FanDuel and just randomly picking the players there and not looking at, "Okay, what odds and what lines can I actually
