Beating AI on a £10k Garden Budget
37sThe challenge of outperforming AI predictions creates curiosity and relatability for homeowners on a budget.
▶ Play Clip[00:00] In this video, we're going head-to-head with AI. Now according to ChatGPT, the average UK spend in a garden is £10,000. We are going to try and have that.
[00:13] Now there is almost 29 million homes in the UK. 87% of them have access to a garden. And many of them, just like my garden, often gets overlooked, which is strange really.
[00:25] I know it's always the last piece of the puzzle, but it can literally add tens of thousands of pounds onto your property price. So in this video, I'm going to show you how you can transform your space on a budget.
[00:37] So let's see if we can be AI and surprise. Another follower with a brand new garden. What number is it? 16.
[00:50] 16.8. It's that one with a white car in it. Is it? Absolutely crap myself, man. Did you? I fought for the first time ever, but we can't surprise someone because they've probably seen us when we pulled up.
[01:04] That's how the wood curtains closed.
[01:16] How the hell are you doing? How you doing? How's it going? How's it going? How fast are you? I've come to work. It's surprising for a new garden. This is crazy. We packed down the road so you didn't know,
[01:29] but when we pulled up, we f***ed ourselves, because your neighbour came out and I was like, no, you see it? The plan now, as you can see, is current patio space is extremely tight,
[01:43] and it's made out of a luxurious material called concrete. So we're going to change that by something else, but I'm not going to tell you what, you're going to have to wait to see a little bit later on in the video, but I have never done what I'm going to do. I've done elements of it,
[01:56] but I've never put it together in one big thing. You'll find out later. Also, what I'd like to do is potentially put some planters in. Hopefully out of the block, if we can get the time and we can afford it.
[02:08] With budget on this one, I really need to keep it to around about £5,000 material costs. Now what I would really like to do, put some beautiful planters in, club the world, put some LEDs in and put a beautiful patio in.
[02:21] It is now Tuesday. I'm coming back on Monday, so it's six days time travel in three, two. And now we can get to work. We've got Tina. Hi. We've got Botanon. It's a birthday today.
[02:33] She's fine. And sad times in Aaron. Yeah, sad times. It's Aaron's last video with us, Matt Marshall at Law and Sharks and Hedges, is going off to be an astronaut.
[02:45] Oh, wait. No, so obviously it's very taxing what we do in Europe and down the country. Aaron is a young person with a young relationship, and it's a bit hard to do it.
[02:57] So he's going to go and work for a local landscaping company, Macrosfield, and we're going to continue on without him. It's going to be emotional this one, isn't it? It's going to be out of work for you. I know. How do you feel? Probably going to be easy for me. Me and Matt are not splitting up. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[03:09] Everything goes crashing to Aaron's left. Anyway, let's get on with the dig out. Now, before we got digging, it was time for all the materials to arrive. Now, we did things slightly different on this one because it was close to home. Now, we knocked on.
[03:21] We knew what we was going to do with the gardens. We organised for all the materials who come at once and they were super cheap, which I will tell you about now. This place was the cheapest place that we found with the materials that we wanted.
[03:34] So let me just break it down for you. Chatty PT, £10,000. Up to now, Matt Marshall, £137,000 and £76,000.
[03:46] That's not all the materials. We still got the secret formula a little bit later on. But Scotts landscape, they were, they're basically Manchester. They was around about £700,000 cheaper
[03:58] than any of the place that we looked at. So, thank God for them. One thing is for sure. These are thing over here. Now, obviously, for my UK audience,
[04:11] this is called the Sun. Now, we've not seen it for a long, long time, but I think it's finally coming back. And that it did. And sold it Joel and Jack from Unique JJ Landscapes.
[04:24] Now, please, when you see Landscapes in my video, please support them because I could not complete these jobs in the time that we do them in. So, please go and show them as much love as you possibly can. I just need some boards because we don't want to rip up.
[04:37] But, is that, they'll have some more there. I don't want to rip up the driveway. Yeah, there you go, Morgan's. We're just going to get some boards to put on the driveway.
[04:50] So, as we're tipping stuff on for the grabs to come later, grabs the new turries for digging more than they should. So, we don't want to scratch the driveway. Hi, Dandy. AJ, are some of them small? Yes, I'm after some, just some plywood.
[05:03] Do you sell it? I need, like, probably four boards, four, five boards. I don't sell it. No, where are your locals at us? Yes. Did you just come up close to me, that's all? Okay. Hello. I'm Boris Bowden.
[05:16] Yeah, he's just popped up. Should I try them? Yeah, yeah, try them. Just out on the edge. Yes, so I'm going to send them. Yeah. They've got off course, I supply them. And Tim, run like you see. So, you're going to them, they've got off course, and stuff like that. They've got, they've got, they've got, they've got, they've got, they've got, they've got, they've got, they've got,
[05:28] Stewie. The manager, so I send in. So, you're looking at the basket. Awesome, nice one, buddy. Cheers for that, mate. No, it's fantastic. Oh, he was nice. Yeah, he was. He was lovely. Hey, mate, is Stewie there?
[05:40] Yeah, I can see him, I can find him for you, speaking. Yeah, my name's Mark. Okay, one second. I'm going to try and plug it, try and plug it, just here. We need six boards, really, don't we?
[05:52] Last two, speaking. Hey, mate, you're right. I've just been told to ring you from the sawmill. I'm after six ply boards. I just need some, put some, some like, garden waste on, for the grab.
[06:04] Do you have, do you have them in stock? Yeah, we have loads of plyons. You do. How much are the aboard? Other show of thickness? It'll be, it'll be cash.
[06:16] I'm in the trade, but yeah. Look, look at what you've done. I've been on the 800048. Is that included? That's included. Oh, you're keeping... Full man, awesome right, I'll be there in about 10 minutes mate.
[06:31] Mark, that's on the call ready for you anyway, just come in the office and see me when you get it. How much was that, 98? 98, 78. Amazing, cheers buddy, thanks mate. Three, two, Mark, bye bye. That's all right. Now, as I nipped off to get the board, I wasn't skiving honestly.
[06:45] Jack and Joel got two digging and I'm an antennae, but they all got digging and started prepping where we was going to extend the patio too. And yes, I'm going to give Jack the new digger title,
[06:57] the best digger driver in all of the world. I'm going to start breaking the concrete out now. I'm going to make a little patch of the digger can get in, and hopefully, it should just all come off nice.
[07:11] Hopefully. I need a slight new move. Go on. I've got the run boards on.
[07:23] I've got good ones on here. I've got good ones, yeah. You did well. So, I've put the run boards on, so I've lost £55, £45, £40p out of my budget,
[07:35] because I've got the good timber. But when I put them up and he told me I've gone in, I'm not going back into swapping. No, I've had to snap off. No, no, no. I've just got the more expensive boards.
[07:48] Buy cheap, buy twice, yeah. Board meeting. Oh no. We're going to a board meeting.
[08:01] Me and Josh have just been for a board meeting. I know, I do love my dad jokes. Now, it was time to finally start digging out the crap out the back garden. Now, what we decided to do is stack all the rubble and the dirt kind of separate,
[08:14] so it was easy for the grab to dispose of. So, obviously, it was in Newcastle last time. The grabs were £340, this guy's doing them at £200, but it's nearly 50% cheaper than Newcastle.
[08:28] It just shows you don't know how different prices are up and down the country. Now, because we are up and down the country quite a lot, we are exposed to a lot of prices, but Drumgool was the cheapest place that we found in the entire country
[08:41] at £200 plus fat per grab and they are based in checker. I'm back. I'm back and I've sent more money. No. Yeah. This time, I've spent £72.34 and that's on paint concrete kickboards.
[08:58] Bum bum. Two paintbrush and two gravel boards. How do you feel about that? Not great. Well, listen, I'm going to beat the AI.
[09:12] I'm going to beat the AI system. As a team, mainly Jack, has scraped out all of this section here. We've got a little bit to go, but we've got two hours before the grab hire comes. But the weather's nice and it just shows you don't it, Joel,
[09:25] when the weather's dry or much you can get done, it's so much more, it's so good for you, morale. So, we're going to scrape the rest out now. We've got some concrete in the wagon to put a few more planks in there, bring that down.
[09:37] We've got one for that side, so that'll probably take half an hour and hour. But we're now going to jump on a YouTube live. If you're watching this and you watch the live, let us know in the comments. We'll get cracking.
[09:50] Now, I would also like to say a massive thank you to all our members. Our little community is growing massively now, and all the money that we raise through membership, and for all the gifts that we raise on the lives, goes into this whole production.
[10:03] So, I just want to say thank you. I've obviously been giving back to everyone kind of this whole social media journey. But it's really nice that we've built a community that support all of this together. And if you are considering joining membership, honestly,
[10:15] it means the world's was, and I'm sure some of the members will tell you in the comment how good it is, right? Time to get back to the job. Did you tell you how much weight it's in it? Yeah. Oh, yes.
[10:28] Jack, how much reckon was there? Wait. 10. 10-ton, 10-11-12. That's Joe.
[10:40] I've changed it as soon now, isn't it? Joe! How much weight do you reckon is on that wagon? I reckon 12-12. Oh, he's gone. What did you say? He said 11, didn't I?
[10:52] You're saying 12. 11-12. So, he knows. I'm going to go. 13. How much?
[11:04] 13. How much? 13. He's gone. 13. He's getting the heart. No! Jack's right. I can't get out of your seat. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. What a guess.
[11:17] We're all whackered. Joe, just give it a good old whack. And we've got another celebrity guest, Brad. Brad's come to give us a lift. But already, it grabs away. Stones in.
[11:32] This sleepers won't take us five minutes, because we're just going to... I'm going to put them... I'm going to screw them all in where they need to be. And then I'll probably have to spike them up to level. Or we could sit them on a bit of a mix.
[11:45] Now, I could not believe this was day one. We was actually getting or making really good headway. One thing that we did really struggle with was permable concrete. So, I got on the phone to my mate, Scott, from what mix. And he was going to try and fix all of my problems.
[12:00] Nationwide, I'm having a real issue trying to get permable. This is the third job we've done away from home, with permable. And not one company who said, yeah, we do that mate. Everything's been a... What?
[12:12] Is it that? So, Scott's going to try and pull us out the crappies, going to speak to some companies and explain how he does it. And then fingers crossed, we might get a company that can help us out. That is one sleeper bed done.
[12:30] That's some great help. What's Brad's dad called? Jason. Jason, great name. We've not met a lot of Jason recently. So, we're going to knock it on the end now. We've got that one bed done.
[12:42] Tomorrow, we'll get this side done. And then, we're working on these. So, I'm going to spend a full day on these blocks. So, we're going to do a little bit time traveling again. I'll see you in three, two. That means, hello and welcome.
[12:55] That means, hello and welcome. We've just realised that Nigel is Welsh, North Wales. We've just been having a chat with him outside. Today is... We're going to finish off all these sleeper beds. We're sitting them on a dry mix, four to one.
[13:08] Just grit and cement. We're going to sit them in, drill them all in. Like we've done on this one, just like Blue Peter. This is one that I've made earlier. We've got a full team. We've got me, Aaron and Tina.
[13:21] Tina's got a bit of painting to do, aren't you love? A bit of painting to do. Aaron's going to help me get these done. So, we'll crack on. So, we've ordered our resin this morning. And it's cost £1,200, including that.
[13:38] Just for the resin. And I've spent... I mean, it's not a great deal, to be honest. When you look at these here, they're talking about spend. 15 quid.
[13:51] 15 quid for them. Oh, that's only like two quid. Two quid. It's only only £50. Yeah, yeah. Well, we could go a tiny bit higher, but yeah, really £50. Yeah, because I've got to put £20,000 resin.
[14:03] I've put £100,000. It's not going to be any more than £15. No, no, it won't be any more now. Right, okay. I might have to do... I might have to do it myself for you.
[14:15] Oh, mate, you're a absolute diamond. But, yeah, you're a lifesaver. Oh, mate, no worries. Nice one, brother. Thanks for the next answer, let me know. Yeah, I might drop him a message now. Awesome.
[14:27] Nice one. Cheers, Scott, mate. Cheers, mate. Scott is an absolute diamond. Now, as all you know, these projects are free. But one of the comments that we've got on our previous video that this was expensive.
[14:40] Now, I'm only telling you what I paid for, the materials. One thing isn't free is Tina's attitude. Well, if you don't know, love, I'm working here. Look, can I have a coffee, please?
[14:52] Oh, don't see me like that. I said, please. I said, please. You can't demand it, right? It's my juice, mate. No, no, I'm not, love. I'm just really nuts. I love, I'm getting these leaps in.
[15:04] I've got reason why I'm starving, mate. Please, can I have a coffee? I need some caffeine, love. Now, just for context, Tina didn't make me a coffee, so I'm currently looking for a new wife.
[15:16] Please submit your application in the description below. If Tina, if you're watching this, Jack's on the stairs. Love you, bye.
[15:31] Yeah, this should shouldn't be there. Thanks for that, Princess. Now, things were going extremely well. All the sleepers were going in. We just had to cut this wade kind of handle, just to make sure it's a bit nice and tight to that wall.
[15:43] Now, the reason we had to do that is because of next door's fence and the way it was. We had to kink the sleepers round. But it all looks good at the end, our promise, yeah. So the Americans don't have these punks
[15:56] with the pockets on. And when we was over there, they kept saying, hey, Mark, where'd you get your pants from? They were from Texas. Some of them value us from Texas. And you don't understand how good these punks are.
[16:11] Anyway, back to cutting.
[16:23] Garden gets used a lot. So we're going to go super strong step. And to do that, these pavers are going to sit like this. So this is going to be the step.
[16:36] Right? So we're going to fill it up to pretty much there with concrete. Hey, up Scotty. Sam? Hey, I always call you Sky, don't you? You got it. Yeah, good, man.
[16:48] We're getting somewhere. So we've got some with us. You all right? It's empty. Confuse me because it's Scott's landscaping supplies. Where did Scott's come from? So Scott's the second name. Everyone always gets confused. So Scott will pound for every time
[17:01] someone calls me Scott. I'll be a millionaire. I call that you don't know. So Sam is the, to be fair, it's blown me away all the way. I'll hold you. It's way free. And he's got his own company and he's absolutely smashing it.
[17:13] Now, we searched, probably, four, five different companies in this area and they still couldn't beat his price for all materials and delivery all the way from Manchester. So what's up using hours to get here?
[17:26] Yeah, 45 minutes. But 45 minutes. So anywhere in the northwest, any landscapes, any bits for you, garden, any sleepers, his details will be in the description below. Please go and support him because he didn't need to help us out in this and he did.
[17:38] Now, I'm just going to touch on that one more time if you're a landscaper or you're accustomed to looking to buy bits for your garden this year, please do try to get out. I'll put these details in the description. Step is done. Step is pret.
[17:51] So need to obviously let that go off. Then we can think about getting these badges on. But before we get to that stage, we need to set these up. Down here. So Aaron's getting the machine sorted.
[18:06] He's getting a mix on. And then we can start to put these down the perimeter. And to do that, we sat them on a semi-dry mix. So that's four part grips and one part cement. And then we used a primer adhesive
[18:18] on the back of every block. So we just dumped them in. And then we started to work along now. Anywhere there wasn't an edge for us to work with. We used a string line. And with the house we didn't need to, you know, to make sure they were nice and straight.
[18:30] But once they were all installed, we could then work on the next little bits. Right, so we're just going to finish off the last little bit around here now. And then we're going to call it a day. So I'm going to see you on a brand new day.
[18:43] Fingers crossed that sun is delivered. It's been lovely today. I'll see you in a minute. Big day today. Big day today. Me and Aaron. And we're having the permable concrete delivered.
[18:55] But this morning, it hasn't arrived. So this was £1,200, including that. The colour is absolutely sensational. It's not called sensational, but it should be.
[19:07] And we've actually just spent £51 and 74 pence this morning on primer adhesive. No, it's not. No, it is primer adhesive. And what else happened? Some grout. And a float.
[19:19] Right. Now for my favourite bit, the clay-pavis step. Now, I've only ever seen pictures of this. I've never seen anyone install it. So I was kind of free-styling it a little bit. So what we did, we built a concrete plant.
[19:31] We let that go off. The next day, we come back and we started to install these clay-pavis. We left a couple of mill gap between the blocks. And then we used adhesive just to make sure they stuck on the block. And then to finish it off, we grouted it a little bit later on the inner video.
[19:44] But let us know what you think of it. I love doing new stuff that I've never done before. And I really do think it adds a layer of beauty to this garden. What the hell is this? Wow. You've seen me go through rain.
[19:57] You've seen me go through icy weather. You've seen me in Florida. And now we've bought the Florida Arrow weather back to Wales. And the step is almost done.
[20:09] And we're just putting out the little nukes in. And then we're going to grout it. But I mean, it looks amazing. If I don't say it's on myself. Now to grout it, we just made sure our grout was nice and wet.
[20:26] We let it go for 20 minutes and we give it a clean off. Now we need some concrete. Oh, what mix is there? Perfect. Now, do you ever remember how much the concrete was in Newcastle?
[20:41] It was about 1,200 quid. Was it? 101? It was about that. Guess how much this is? From Scott. At what mix? It is a little bit less concrete. However, 522 quid, including that for this concrete.
[20:56] And when it comes out, you'll see how good it is. And the difference between this concrete and the last one. Good to go, mate. Now, that is permeable concrete.
[21:09] You'll notice that it's much bigger bits in this one. Whereas the one that we had from Newcastle, it wasn't like that, which means if this smaller bits in it, it means that it's less permeable because all of them
[21:23] little bits block the moisture. Now, I don't know what it is about permeable concrete, but I love installing it. So we rake it out to finish tight and then we use the outside bell wacker. Now, we get a lot of grief about this wacker, people saying it doesn't last.
[21:35] Well, I'm going to prove you wrong. I'm going to use it now on a full charge and we'll see how we get on. I've been lacking this for about 45 minutes. And I can't run it out of battery and I can't be bothered to keep going.
[21:51] So the people that say they don't last, are talking out the absolute ****. Look how beautiful and healthy these plants are. I'm not going to put them yet because Dylan said he's going to send me some more bits out
[22:07] just to kind of make it look a bit more as soon as they're clapped. That's the only finger wishing you more about plants. Manana, I think it's probably because of Manana. I just used to ask her what to get.
[22:22] I never really, do you know what I mean? I never really, I just because I always had it in my head I thought I was going to have Manana forever. So I never really kind of studied into them. I will do one day, put the time and then they did do into it.
[22:35] But I think because I can't read and write very well, I can't pronounce them, but it's beautiful. That's Himalaya. I can read.
[22:47] I'm going to time travel. This concrete will be dry. That step's going to be looking beautiful. I'll see you in three, two. We've got a celebrity guest, Marco.
[22:59] Cheers for coming down the safe in my life. We've just said something about camera, which when we put our resin video on last time, and people were saying, why have you not used tarmac? Why have you used permal wrong concrete?
[23:12] Now, we all know I have just started this resin world. I've only done five or six projects, Caleb, five or six projects. New yourself do the tarmac version of it.
[23:24] What is the reason this isn't like anything against people I use permal, what is the reason you use tarmac? I use tarmac, basically, because it's been tried and tested. Obviously, everybody learns in different ways to get trial and error learning.
[23:38] You can't go on courses to learn what's going to work over the years. So, from ten years experience, I use tarmac because it's rolled down. You've got a good connection.
[23:51] Obviously, your big role is, yeah. So, if you're using a driveway, you're getting the role, you're getting the compaction. Same with when you're laying, handling, and people use by hand, people use by power travel.
[24:04] It's the same sort of thing. You know, you get a good compaction. We do both. So, I'm a power trial guy. Yeah. It was easy. We used to be seeing my video earlier killing me about eight times.
[24:18] I think we have got a power flow coming today. We'll get on it. Right, we ordered some more plants to buff it out. £599 and £39, we have spent on plants.
[24:35] Plants are expensive, but the cheapest place for quality that I found is one click. Hence why we're using so much. But hold your horses, Marco. It was time to get all the plants in and get the furniture built before we start on the resin.
[24:51] Did I tell you I was a footballer as well, guys? The plants are incredible. Please go on to port one click. I always say it all the time, but they are amazing. Right, what they're allowed to do in, so they thought they were coming out to do resin. So they're building some furniture.
[25:04] The instructions are not that clear, so they're just kind of figuring it out as we're going. Jack's just throwing phones everywhere, but what else has arrived? Beautiful blackstone grill.
[25:16] And he's got some gas for that, Marco. Remind mix off, forget. So, me and Marco are going to nip off to the shop and get some soil. What else do we need, mate? White spirits. And then hopefully we're back. Furniture's built.
[25:28] And then we're good to go put the resin in. We're back. We spent more money.
[25:40] So it was 57 quid for the converter. Is it converter, yeah? Yeah. Converter. But we get 50 quid back, so it's 7 quid for the day. And then we've spent 51 pound 30, so I'll work it out.
[25:54] And then for white spirits and some more bags of soil, just to top the sleepers up. So I think that's it for spending now. I think that's it. So we'll take the resin mill drops and stuff up.
[26:06] Yes. But they're tools. We can't account them in the job. So the mix is like two and a half grand. We've got, I think they're 150. So we have got a couple of grinding tools.
[26:18] But that's not as a price in the job. Now, if obviously if you were going to be putting resin in, you'd get a company in to do it. It's roughly works out about 200 quid square meter. What do you charge for a per square meter, Marco? You know about 180. 180.
[26:30] I'm a little bit dera. I'm a little bit dera. But you know, it is what it is, isn't it? Right, Tanscracker. Just on that, if you are looking for a new resin driveway or a resin patio, please check out the resin mill website.
[26:42] They not only can give you an installer, they can give you a preview of what your garden or driveway would look like. But I don't really explain, does it? No. So we've got so far that we're trying to build,
[26:54] but it's not been labeled. We've spent far too much time on this, but it's just physically impossible to work out where bits go and how it goes. And I know people are going to watch this going.
[27:07] This can't be that hard. Honestly, we've all been out, aren't we, Aaron? Yeah, that's right. Yeah, so you can build that one, build that one and let's see what teases we've got left. We're not trying to build these a bit, we're trying to build the art. No, no, build the easy bit and then let's figure out what we've got left.
[27:20] Okay, well, we'll do these a bit and then you're often devying again and sort of more chipmunks. I am. Like, listen, let's over-dapt on a cum. It's the last of the day, love. Don't ruin it. On my back, so. What did I say?
[27:32] You are an absolute legend. Awesome. Nice one, buddy. Cheers, mate. Thanks, pal. We've done it. They're coming back. That has saved us a fortune, hey?
[27:44] We've won. Now, coming to cut all the bits crap, but we'll have, should we? Right, we're gonna have to pull the trigger, so when we've built that, we'll just have to stack out the front and hide it. And now it is time, ladies and gentlemen, the bit you've all been waiting for, the Pierre,
[27:58] the resistance, the resin. Now this is called Verona, and have a don't say so on myself. It is stunning. Now, if you're looking to get trained up in resin, please check out the resin mills website,
[28:10] and yes, I do some courses with them as well. You're laughing on that trial, aren't you, mate? Oh, man. Oh, here it is. I'm honest, mate. I'm a little bit embarrassed. I thought I was, I thought I was like, you know,
[28:23] creme de la creme resin later, and then these boys show not absolutely white to flow in there. But, you know, we're still going out there. We're still doing it. We're waiting for these guys with furniture still going to stop mix up,
[28:36] stop barring, stop all laying. So, how long can this last? Well, as long as it's not mixing, it'll be all right for a while. We're getting the last screw in now. Don't you worry, it's the last screw.
[28:49] You're driving the last screw in. Yeah, yeah. I'm driving at Marco Maz, and we're driving the last screw in. So, sneakers jacket slowing him down. That's what's going on. It's too warm in here. Come on, let's get this resin in.
[29:01] Now as promised, I am going to give you a full breakdown at the end of this video. But first, let's take a look back at how this journey began. I was actually waiting for Amazon Delivery.
[29:15] So, my sister-in-law was here, and she just came out. Someone's at the door. I went to the door then. So, I was coming out of the stairs. And I was generally thought it was Amazon Delivery,
[29:28] because we're waiting for something. How you doing? That's what I was really, really unexpected. I didn't really expect it at all. It was surprising.
[29:41] Mark did say that we were surprised, and at first, I was taken back by the whole thing, and then it's the reality, like, oh my god, he's there, sort of thing. It's just weird scenario.
[29:55] Something that's a bit alien to me. It was something that we couldn't afford to do ourselves. The skills that I've got when I'm a bit able
[30:07] to get professionalism and do the professional finish and, wait, regardless. But yeah, it's like a life lottery, really. And especially the summer spring that comes out, the kids will have a spare more time in the garden.
[30:19] It'll be exciting, really. Shoot you guys, mate, and I'll guide you out. I'll have to hold hands for friends now. Oh, you nervous?
[30:32] A little bit, yeah. Right, so the things you wanted was a pink patio, big messy bouncy castle, and I want me to square through the pools. Is that right? That's exactly what I wanted.
[30:45] Hopefully we've delivered on that. So before you open your eyes, can you tell me what you've got and looked like before we got going? The main issue I had was a step. The step was horrible. I did not get that note, so you step hasn't changed,
[30:59] but we'll skip over that, mate. What else was there? Three materials, sort of, the main drive, the old, how the drive used to look, and then the concrete on the corner. And the sleepers were rotten from here.
[31:12] And there was also a crack, a concrete on the side. Yeah. Open them. Are you ready? Three, two, one, have a look. Oh, wow. Oh, wow, you've delivered, mate.
[31:25] Yeah. Oh! How long did that take? It didn't actually take us long, probably about a day. Half a day. Oh, wow. Oh, wow.
[31:39] We've got your beautiful corner sofa. Nice entertaining space, but what little issue, mate? Your barbecue. Oh, yeah. So I've got your present from me to you. Oh, yeah.
[31:51] Just wait there, one minute. I've got you, the mother, I should say, the daddy, a whole barbecues, a black stone griddle. It's not a piano under there, is it? He's not a piano, mate.
[32:09] Oh, wow. Now this is the mother of all griddles. Wow. That's what? No worries. That's amazing, mate. That's nice, mate.
[32:22] It's very nice. Wow. Cheers for that. That's a lot. No worries. Right, the breakdown. How much did it actually cost?
[32:35] And did we be AI in this garden? Well, I've got it right in front of me, and I can tell you, yes. We managed to not only be AI, we smashed it. We transformed this garden.
[32:48] Now this is material costs only for £4,312. And £17. Our about it. Now that doesn't include labour costs,
[33:00] and it doesn't include this beautiful furniture set. But I wanted to prove to people that you can make a garden magical on a tight budget. I also got something a little extra, which was the black stone griddle.
[33:13] There about £750. This furniture set was around £1,000. So if you were to add everything in the garden, it would be around about £6,000 plus labour. You're looking at about £9,000 to £10,000.
[33:25] What I would practise job as a landscaper. Now, already this year, we have done Zoys. We've done rock sands. We've done Chris Child. We have now completed Nigels. If you want to be next, you need to spam the hell out of the comments.
[33:39] You need to be sharing it to story. You need to be liking the video, and you need to be telling us many of your mates about it as possible. Now, unfortunately, we haven't got a headline sponsor that really helps us with these projects.
[33:51] We all fall down to how well the videos are doing on YouTube. Membership, please, if you've not considered it, it really goes a long way. We couldn't have done this project without Membership, because we had a headline sponsor with not now.
[34:05] So, we really, really do need your help and support by getting these videos out. Eventually, when they do really well, then do millions and millions of views. We will not need a headline sponsor. We can just do whatever the hell you want in your garden. But until that day comes, we're going to fight to get as many gardens
[34:19] as we possibly can. Lots of love. Bye-bye. Yeah? Ah!
