AI Summary

This video presents a 10-minute, range-only warm-up routine for Valorant players to improve aim consistency. It emphasizes the importance of warming up movement habits alongside aim, and includes drills for one-taps, bursting, tracking, spray control, and compound scenarios, with a sponsor segment for an Immortal coaching program.

[00:01]
Consistency Problem

Inconsistent performance in Valorant is often due to a lack of a consistent warm-up routine.

[00:13]
Warm-up Routine Overview

A 10-minute range-only routine can help reach peak performance and consistency, focusing on both aim and movement habits.

[00:26]
Movement Importance

Warming up movement is crucial; practicing in the range without movement won't translate to real games and can be counterproductive.

[00:41]
One-Tap Drill

Set bots to one side, use a Guardian, and practice one-taps on three bots for 60 seconds, prioritizing accuracy over speed and incorporating strafing.

[01:23]
Burst Drill

Switch to Vandal/Phantom, practice bursting instead of tapping, focusing on recoil recovery and matching movement speed.

[02:05]
Tracking Drills

Tracking improves crosshair smoothness and movement; practice stationary tracking with 100 bots, then with strafing bots, focusing on smoothness and reacting to movement.

[04:06]
Spray Control Practice

Practice spray patterns on the target at 20m, aiming to keep bullets in the smallest circle, and use crouch taps to make yourself a moving target.

[05:11]
Spray Transfer Drills

Practice spray transfers on multiple targets, starting with the big target and then Sova drones, then on bots for 2-3 man transfers.

[05:39]
Compound Drills

Use compound scenarios to warm up multiple aspects of aim at once, such as the 'hard' speed challenge with a Guardian, focusing on consistent crosshair placement.

[06:41]
Pistol Round Drill

Set challenge to 50 bots with head armor and strafing bots, use a Ghost, and practice shooting while moving and readjusting, simulating chaotic fights.

[07:09]
Final Routine and Consistency

Complete the routine once per day, adjust drills as needed, and remember that warming up is personal but consistency is key.

A consistent 10-minute range routine can significantly improve aim consistency in Valorant by combining aim and movement practice, but it's important to adapt it to personal preferences.

Consistency Over Intensity

Stresses that a consistent 10-minute routine is more effective than occasional long sessions.

[00:01] Valerant? One game you're unstoppable and the next you can't even hit a simple happens to you a lot, there's a good chance you don't have a consistent routine. A consistent warm-up routine doesn't mean spending hours on aim

[00:13] you a rangeonly warm-up routine that will help you reach your peak and become more consistent in just 10 minutes. This routine helps some of my students, so I here we are in the range. And the first heat concept I want you to understand is

[00:26] need to warm up. Good movement and movement habits are also extremely within the range, we'll never be able to replicate it in an actual game. Any isn't going to help. And it can even be counterproductive, making your movement

[00:41] moving in a real game. So, with that in mind, let's dive into the actual breach. And what we're going to do is breach halting all the bots to one side you pick how many bots you want to focus on since having all 11 bots in front of

[00:56] you is just too easy. Now, let's shoot three bots and practice our one taps. practicing our one taps with a guardian on three bots. We're not trying to focus on speed, but instead we're prioritizing our accuracy and keeping our horizontal

[01:08] rather than having fast shaky lines. And make sure you're also focusing on moving in a real game. That's either with simple strafing left and right in and same direction movements into your pattern. And over the 60 seconds, make

[01:23] from the bots. If you want to focus on your micro corrections, you can play larger flicks, you just have to move closer. And next up, let's pick up a Vandal or Phantom or even switch between them during the next 60 seconds. We're

[01:36] the Guardian, except now we'll focus on bursting instead of tapping. Not much for the recoil recovery time of the weapon and how that affects our strafes. faster recoil recovery time than

[01:50] sure we're slowing down our movement to match that. And if the butts are really transfer just to be realistic to how you would play in that scenario. And once then start focusing on tracking. While tracking by itself is not a core

[02:05] essential part of the game, it still has a ton of benefits. Skills such as having smoothness with your crosshair placement and movement rating are essential to the best way to practice these mechanics is to train your tracking. So, we're

[02:17] going to start off with practicing our stationary tracking. So to focus on this aspect, let's activate the 100 bots challenge. Now we can just track each it. And once again, let's keep practicing our movement. And while we're

[02:30] to side. Treat it like a shadow boxing scenario. Move, strafe, crouch, just like you would in a real fight while keeping a nice smooth track on the changing up the distance between you and the bots. Up close, you'll need to be a

[02:44] further away you get, the smoother and slower you need to be. And you can just do this drill for a total of 60 seconds. And for our final tracking drill, we can repeat the same tracking task, but this time using strafing bots. This changes

[02:56] track the bot's movement while also focusing on your own. And this is a enemy bot will be difficult. But that's also why hitting shots in Valerant can be hard. If you and the enemies both have good movement, your aim will need

[03:10] to be really good. So, try not to rely on just predicting the bot's movement, real game, you'll likely not be able to focus on the enemy movement pattern. So, to react in putting your crosshair on the target. And before we continue with

[03:25] with consistency and feeling like you're not improving, then you would benefit a the immortal romap program, you'll get over 100 plus hours of personalized coaching with hands-on help from Radiant and VCT coaches. You'll improve and rank

[04:18] having a general feel of your spray and being able to rely on it makes the game a lot easier. Even just a smooth feeling I get from warming up my sprays make my The first thing we're going to do is simply go to the target in the outside

[04:31] set the target to 20 m and simply practice our sprays. Our goal here is to get all our bullets in the smallest circle. You can shoot 20 to 25 bullets at a time. Then click the reset button and take note of your spray. Are you

[04:44] react to the changes in direction? These are areas we can improve upon in this times for the rifles you care about using. Note that we obviously can't move that much while spraying. However, we can still tap crash to make our head a

[04:58] moving target. Every time I practice my spray, I'll constantly tap crash as that try not to commit to a crush spray because that's the easiest way to get we can take a few steps back and practice our spray transfers on the

[05:11] First, you have to break the big target. Then spray the two Sova drones further in the front. This will be a fourman spray transfer. And we want to do this confident in doing this, we can go back into the range and practice with more

[05:26] realistic targets. Once again, I'm breaching the bots to one side and just time. Our goal this time is to go for two to three man spray transfers. We've already practiced our spray a lot, so I would only do this for around 30

[05:39] fundamental of our aim, we can move on to the more challenging drills by compound scenarios that will warm up multiple aspects of our aim at once and give you a score to use as feedback to improve day-to-day. The first thing

[05:52] not just going for 10 style flicks to hit a high score, but we're trying to achieve a consistent and reliable aim. The training is as follows. Use a guardian or any other onetap weapon and start the challenge at the center of the

[06:04] middle of the wall. Think about it like you're scaling anywhere in an actual game. Your cross placement will be where you expect enemies to peak. Then when pace while stopping your movement. Confirm your cross placement and then

[06:17] shoot. Obviously, this will be quite challenging, so I recommend setting the speed to hard only when you can consistently hit 25 bots on average on medium while following the same routine. This is an excellent drill for a very

[06:29] common in-game scenario. So, do this around five to 10 times. And if you're really serious, mark down your score and find the average of your 10 runs. Then, try to beat it dayto-day and week to week. And now, this next drill puts

[06:41] pistol rounds. For this, we'll set the challenge to 50 bots. Make sure the head armor is on and that you select strafing bots. We're going to buy a ghost and reason for this is pretty simple. The ghost means that we'll have to shoot the

[06:55] strafing in between shots and readjusting. Playing closely to the bots also forces us to constantly look around and find the bot, simulating chaotic locate the bot, don't just stand still. Otherwise, in game, you'll be an easy

[07:09] time, so you only need to do it once per day. Feel free to mark down your time that concludes the final routine, and once you've completed it, feel free to into ranked. While 10 minutes may not seem like a lot, you can get so much

[07:24] routine consistently. And feel free to adjust any drills that feels awkward to you or even add your own. Warming up is different for every person, but remember necessarily improve your aim. So, if that's your goal, you can check out this

[07:37] you don't realize you're making. Thanks for watching.
