It breaks down each of the four roles—Controller, Duelist, Sentinel, and Initiator—and analyzes every agent within them, offering insights into their utility, playstyle, and suitability for different player types.

[00:30]
Controllers: The Most Important Role

Controllers are essential in Valorant; their smokes dictate the pace of the game and are used to deny and set up site executes. They require a good macro view and can play aggressively or lurk.

[00:58]
Clove: Aggressive Controller

Clove suits aggressive players who can take risks, as they can still use smokes after dying, unlike other controllers.

[01:12]
Omen: Adaptable Controller

Omen is for adaptable players who can take calculated risks, using teleports to fight from high ground or set up executes, and can also play passively.

[01:39]
Brimstone: Explosive Niche Pick

Brimstone is meta on Bind, offering three smokes at once and a postplant molotov, making him great for explosive gameplay.

[02:05]
Harbor: Creative Controller

Harbor has a low pick rate but can smoke off entire sites with his three smokes; requires creativity and precise lineups.

[02:46]
Viper: Meta Controller

Viper is a meta pick on many maps, with precise orb and wall lineups for defense and lurk timings on attack.

[02:59]
Astra: Lurky Controller

Astra can smoke from anywhere on the map, making her great for punishing rotations and flanks, but requires frequent map awareness.

[04:06]
Duelists: High Impact Aggression

Duelists focus on securing first blood and gaining a numerical advantage, opening up sites on attack and scaring teams on defense.

[04:32]
Jett: Operator and Aggression

Jett uses movement to escape or open up executes, and can aggressively take space on both sides, especially with the operator.

[04:47]
Raze: Chaos and Movement

Raze uses paint shells and satchels to create chaos, best as a rotator on defense to stop pushes.

[05:12]
Phoenix: One-Dimensional but Easy

Phoenix is easier to play, with flashes that are perfect for pushing through smokes, and can rotate on defense.

[05:37]
Wayi: New Duelist with Recall

Wayi can recall her utility to escape or take aggressive peaks with little risk, and has a slow ability to stop pushes.

[06:02]
Neon: High Skill Ceiling

Neon can sprint constantly, allowing fast rotations and space taking, but requires mastering her movement to be effective.

[06:29]
Iso: Simple Duelist

Iso's shield lets him take an extra bullet, but he relies on aim and forcing duels; his util includes vulnerable and an ult for 1v1s.

[06:55]
Reyna: Confidence in Mechanics

Reyna is great for off angles but has no bailout, so you must be confident in your aim to get kills and survive.

[07:20]
Yoru: Complicated Skill Set

Yoru requires creativity with decoys and teleports, allowing crossmap plays and strong defense, but has a high skill ceiling.

[07:57]
Sentinels: Passive Info and Executes

Sentinels get info with zero risk and shut down executes, with passive info enabling game-winning lurks on attack.

[08:12]
Sage and Deadlock: Similar Sentinels

Sage and Deadlock lack info but have raw abilities to stop pushes, like walls and slows, and can single-handedly stop splits.

[08:39]
Cypher: Info Master

Cypher gets info with no risk, using trips and cages to deny utility, and is great for countering fast entry agents.

[09:07]
Viper: Best Molotovs

Viper has two molotovs that can dismantle executes, with a simple setup of wall and molly in the choke.

[09:35]
Killjoy: Adaptable Sentinel

Killjoy is a versatile sentinel with turret and alarmbot for info, and can adapt to different situations.

[10:01]
Chamber: Escape Artist

Chamber is more like Jett with his TP, allowing easy escapes and holding deep operator lines, but lacks info.

[10:26]
Veto: New Sentinel

Veto's signature ability blocks enemy utility and his ult makes him invulnerable to utility, making him strong for getting picks.

[11:05]
Initiators: Setting Up the Team

Initiators get info and set up the team for executes, unlike sentinels who get passive info.

[11:18]
Sova and Fade: Recon Initiators

Sova and Fade are similar with recon and drones, but shine on different maps; Fade on Lotus, Sova on Ascent.

[11:59]
Gecko and Skye: Versatile Initiators

Gecko and Skye bring a bit of everything, with flashes and info, and Gecko's wingman can plant the spike.

[12:24]
KAY/O and Breach: Execute Initiators

KAY/O and Breach are best for pure site executes, with flashes and stuns to clear sight holders.

[13:06]
Tejo: Niche Initiator

Tejo has a drone that clears space and two molotovs, making him a simple initiator for map control.

The video emphasizes that finding your main role and agent is about understanding your play style and strengths. It encourages players to experiment with different agents and roles to find the best fit, and suggests seeking professional coaching for faster improvement.

[00:02] Are you the insul raina who can't stop lurking? you can play every agent, but is actually just as equally bad at all of mate. I've been helping players rank up

[00:16] perfect agent for you plays a key role in reaching your dream rank. It's not it's about understanding your play style, strengths, and weaknesses. So, let's break down every role in agent and find your next install. The most

[00:30] important role in Valerant belongs to the controller. They're very much needed Their smokes dictate the pace of the game and their utility is used to both deny and set up sight executes. As a controller player, you can play as both

[00:43] an aggressive entry or go for the late game winning lurks. You should main style and have a good macro view of the game. To be able to both lurk and entry, other team and always be paying attention to the game situation to place

[00:58] aggressive play style, then Clove might suit you perfectly. While all other game to get the most use out of their smokes, Clove lets you take risks with still play smokes after dying. However,

[01:12] constantly playing the rotator role on defense. Omen, on the other hand, is for a more adaptable play style where you can take on more calculated risks. You can play aggressively as Omen, using his teleport to fight from high ground.

[01:25] >> It's over Anakin. I have the high ground >> or teleporting in onto a site during the execute. You can also play him passively by smoking and setting up the team You can main omen if you have an adaptable play style and know how to

[01:39] chain TPS and flashes to surprise your opponents. Brimstone is more of a niche pick and while he's only really meta at the moment on bind, no one can match his explosiveness. Being able to drop three smokes all at once and sim his team into

[01:51] sight before closing out the round with his postplant molotov makes him great you can constantly delay with the longest smokes in the game and a molotov in. You can main him if you like explosive gameplay or winning games

[02:05] for Harbor, he has one of the lowest pick rates in the game. All three of his abilities are taken smokes which make him more of a gimmick pick. However, like Brimstone, he can smoke off entire sights, making him one of the best

[02:18] Unlike Brimstone, however, you can't just point and click and you're going to usage. Main him if you're a creative player who knows how to play like a rat creative in another way. Instead of doing everything on the fly, you can be

[02:32] precise with your orb and wall lineups to create interesting setups on defense defenders while you're playing on attack by opening up lurk timings for yourself. play slow and calculated while denying info from the enemy team before you can

[02:46] rotate in to win the postman for your team, then Viper is a meta pick you can main on a lot of maps. Last but not least for Astra, she fell out of fashion the right hands. Being able to smoke from anywhere on the map make her the

[02:59] team from anywhere on the map before punishing rotations or flanks. And on defense, your stopping ability on both sides at once makes rushing super hard look at the map frequently because your team might remain silent during an enemy

[03:13] rush. Astra is definitely a main for the lurky controller players. Now, we all understanding which agent might be best for you can be hard. and getting hands-on help from some of the world's best players is one of the best ways to

[03:25] inside the immortal romant program, you'll be able to improve and rank up in just a few weeks. For example, in the current season of the program, in just 6 weeks, Hams started Ascendant 3 and is now immortal 2. Val Potato started

[03:38] Silver 1 and is now plat 2. 94 BT started iron 3 and is now platinum 1. students who have gotten insane results like this. We offer a plus 500 RR in 10 if you're tired of feeling lost in your games and you're trying to reach your

[03:53] dream rank, use the link down below to book a free call with me or one of our Now, back to the video. Now, we've covered how controllers can be extremely versatile, but if you want to take on more risks and win games through pure

[04:06] aggression, the duelist role may be for you. Duelist is a high impact role that lets me strong players shine. They focus on securing the first blood and gaining a numerical advantage from the start. Getting entry kills on attack opens up

[04:18] sights and opting on defense makes most teams scared to push. So, if you trust definitely the role you want to main. Going into each agent, Jet is a that all help her escape or open up sight executes. On defense, you can play

[04:32] before escaping without getting set you up to dash in the sight and make the sentinel player wish you picked a how to aggressively take space on both sides, or if you just love the operator.

[04:47] Now for Rays, her mix of movement plus damage abilities make her the most creating chaos by using her paint shells to remove angles, then double satcheling to close the gap, then raise the perfect agent. She's best played as a rotator on

[05:00] defense to stop pushes on both sides. Now, for Phoenix, he's more one-dimensional. It's also an easier duels to play compared to race and jet since those two agents require mastering their unique movement abilities. Phoenix

[05:12] flashes in the game, which makes them perfect for pushing through smokes or 90° angles. And on defense, he can play as a rotator. When enemies exec on any site, you can simply molly the choke

[05:24] enemy smokes. On attack, while you're unable to dash in, you can still through smokes, especially if you have you're looking for an aggressive second entry that has a lot of agency. Now for

[05:37] Wayi, the newest duelist in the game brings a lot of interesting abilities. While being unable to dash into a selfm smoke like Jet, her ability to recall a sight exec, she can just leave completely. And on defense, you can use

[05:50] her recall to take aggressive peaks with little risk. She also has a slow ability which is excellent at stopping a push or setting up a rush. While a little bit of creativity is required, she becomes almost impossible to kill. or neon. She

[06:02] takes movement to a new level and she could be a chore to try and shoot most speed is not rely on just one quick burst, but she's able to constantly sprint for 90% of the game. This means she can rotate quickly on defense or

[06:16] take space super quickly on attack. She's good with almost all guns in the which makes her a versatile agent all around. The only issue, there's a large skill ceiling. If you want to play Neon, be prepared to spend hours watching Te

[06:29] and mastering her movement to reach the skill needed to make her work. Now, Iso, simplest duelists to play. That's obviously because his main ability is a shield that makes you take one more bullet than usual. However, this doesn't

[06:42] shield may just get molotovd or spam through a smoke. Although, he does have a lot of util such as his vulnerable to help his team and he can also isolate 1v ones with his ult. So, in short, use ISO if you know how to force DS on your

[06:55] opponent and have the aim to back it up. Now, for Raina, she's similar to Jet in that she's great for taking off angle on defense and being completely unable to be traded. However, she doesn't have a bailout button, so if you don't get that

[07:07] kill, you're 100% dead. So, this means you must be confident in your mechanics. limitless range, and like Phoenix, you can rotate around on defense, peak with your flash, and get out before the other team can react. Now, [music] Yoru has

[07:20] probably the most complicated skill set of any duelist. And while it might not take large mechanical skills to master, it definitely takes a large amount of main reason Phoenix doesn't see as high of a pick rate because he's able to

[07:33] rotate 10 times faster and flood sights with decoys and flashes that make him super strong on defense. He's essentially able to play on both sides of the map simultaneously with crossmap teleports. On attack though, you can

[07:45] surprise factor. So, be prepared to get creative if you wish to main [music] this agent. Now, if entering isn't for you and you don't want to get flamed every time you die on site, then the sentinel role can provide massive impact

[07:57] opposed to the duelist role, the sentinel shines in getting info with zero risk or shutting down executes. On attack, your passive info gives you the game-winning lurks or shutting down the enemy flank attempts. definitely mean

[08:12] with their utility and timings and prefer a more passive and safe play talk about are quite similar and deadlock. They don't have the same info they make up for it with their raw abilities to stop pushes and deny the

[08:27] choke. They're able to single-handedly stop a split by walling one side of the site and using their slow or grab net on the other choke. Sage can be a bit more creative by using the wall to fight from interesting angles and elevation, while

[08:39] able to fight around the sensors. Consider meaning one of these agents if put yourself in the right place to hold the sight. As for Cipher, he's the most abilities that get info with no risks. He's able to move fully around the map

[08:54] and use his cages to dodge utility or deny some info. And like most sentinels, with your setups. A simple trip will get broken, but a sneaky trip in the right place could dent you free kills without even having to move. And on attack, you

[09:07] open up space for your lurks. But main cipher if you want to counter fast entry agents like neon rays and jet. Now for vice, she has one of the best molotovs damaging you. One simple thorn in the choke can dismantle a fiveman execute

[09:22] and she has two of them. The setup is simple, wall and thorn in the choke and flashes the guy who makes it through. While she lacks the pure info ability of when it comes to holding a sight. So consider her if you want a simple

[09:35] sentinel that makes the other team wish they started on defense. Now after of favor recently. Vice has better molotovs and Cipher has better info. However, she's a great in-between agent who could do a little bit of everything.

[09:48] for getting info for the team and unlike Cipher's cam, you can have your gun out at all times. So consider Killjoy if you like to be adaptable and know how to use your utility to create unstoppable setups. For Chamber, he's completely

[10:01] one info trip that is easily breakable. However, he's more like Jet in his ability to easily escape angles. Most players don't really main Chamber. They fill the Sentinel role. However, that doesn't mean he's not strong in the

[10:14] right hands by being able to disrupt the exec before they even get close to the site, then fall into retake. This means he's great for soloing one side of the map completely alone or getting info by holding deep operator lines. And the

[10:26] final Sentinel agent is Veto. At the time of writing the script, he's just conclusions, but he's most likely going to be great at getting picks similar to Chamber thanks to his TP and will also have a decent trip. But his most insane

[10:39] abilities are his alt and his signature ability. His signature ability blocks utility from the enemies and makes it harder to execute sights. For example, it'll literally break any sentinel utility. At the same time, his ultimate

[10:52] makes him invulnerable to enemy utility. So, main veto if you prefer a more getting overwhelmed with enemy flashes and nades. Now, besides sentinels, if you're sick of lurking and want to actively play with your team, then the

[11:05] initiator role might be the switch up that you need. Unlike sentinels who get passive info, the initiator sets up his team by constantly getting info and initiator gets to the site that they want to exact, they can perfectly set up

[11:18] While perhaps being the most supportive role in Valerant, the impact of a good own. The first two initiators are very similar, Beta and Silva. They're both recon or clearing out areas with a drone

[11:32] or fade dog. However, they shine on different maps. On a map like Lotus with points, the Fade Dog and Eye is a lot better at clearing space. On the other hand, Silva shines with an open map like Ascent, meaning a single dart or drone

[11:45] can clear an entire site. So main these agents if you like getting info for the exactly where to dash in and get the pick. Also main them if you don't mind two initiators have both fallen behind in the meta. Gecko and Sky. These are

[11:59] versatile agents that bring a little bit of everything to the team. Sky has a flash and a dog, so not only can she get info, but she can set up her team to flash gives info [music] in itself. It has a low cooldown, so it's constantly

[12:12] able to be recycled. Gecko can also have the wingman plan the spike, which means it's great on maps like Icebox or Bind, where planning the spike often means agents aren't seen as much in pro play in the current meta, consider meaning

[12:24] them if you find yourself as a solo initiator and want to be adaptable to KO, they're probably the two best initiators for pure sight executes. A KO abilities from the sight holders and a wellplaced breach stun can cover a ton

[12:39] flashes that can be used to set themselves or their teammates up to get kills. They also both have a blast or molotov that can clear spots known enemies are sitting in or you can just delay the bomb diffuse in a post plant.

[12:52] sights easily and rather than getting info on attack, you'd rather specialize storm a site. The next agent to be talked about is Teao. And while he was fallen into more of a niche pick. His

[13:06] which is able to clear an absurd amount of space. He has two molotovs that can great for 1v ones if you know how to use it. Maintain TO if you want a more simple initiator experience with an easy to use drone and map controlling bombs.

[13:20] He's a super straightforward pick. Now, we've broken down every agent today and you decide who you should be maning. However, a simple agent switch won't for that, check out my other video here where we go through the eight mechanics

[13:34] required to hit immortal. Thanks for watching.
