[01:03] money. So, please always do your own due diligence and invest wisely. Now, let's get into the video. Now, the first stock on my list for this month is Zenith Bank. Now, Zenith Bank is one of Nigeria's most profitable and innovative

[01:15] banks right now with leading market position in corporate and retail putting this as my number one for this month is that Zenith Bank just posted their Q2 earnings and profitability is accelerated faster than their revenue.

[01:40] thing you need to know is that this bit creates competitive advantage for them where customers get loans before they even consider competitors. And the AI is also learning from historical data, is also improving approval accuracy, and

[01:52] reducing the default rate of this loans. Also, Zenith Bank just announced the expansion of their supply chain financing platform into manufacturing. And this is about to be a multi-trillion naira opportunity. Now, what does this

[02:05] mean? Now, we all know that Nigerian manufacturers constantly need working capital. They need money. And Zenith Bank is offering instant financing for lot of small and medium manufacturers who were previously excluded from

[02:18] credit. And also, Zenith Bank's fintech ecosystem is also making profit right now. They have multiple revenue streams from payments, uh from transfers, investments, and also from lending. And their digital banking activity users is

[02:31] increasing every single month right now. Their non-performing loans are among the lowest in Nigeria, too. And this allows more aggressive lending and growth without them taking any excessive risk. And one more thing, their pan-African

[02:44] They're now expanding into 12 plus countries right now, which means that economies in the world. And when it comes to dividend, too, the dividend is growing faster right now. There's just a lot of reasons why I think this stock is

[02:58] my number one for this month. And even last month, I bought more Zenith Bank stocks, and this month I am buying more again. So, before I go to number two, video, kindly like this video. Also, subscribe to the channel and help us get

[03:22] Now, if you have seen the H2 earnings report of MTN Nigeria, I'm sure that you know that this company is making a lot of money. They posted a revenue of about of money. They posted a revenue of about 2.9 trillion naira in 6 months, yeah. 6

[03:34] months, that's a lot of money, 2.9 trillion naira. And more than half of subscriptions. Yes, the data that you and I are buying every single day. So, you're not making money through them in the stock market, then you are missing a

[03:48] the table. And right now, the share price has even come down a little bit. So, if you're not investing in MTN Nigeria, please consider it for this month. And we all know that MTN Nigeria is actually the largest mobile network

[04:01] operator in Nigeria right now. And beyond voice calls, beyond data and SMS, they are also building a comprehensive digital financial service right now. And they still have more revenue sources coming before the end of the year. So,

[06:08] check the pinned comment of this video for the link to get the ebook. Thank you and let's go on with the video. Now, the third stock on my list for this month is Okomu Oil Palm. Now, in case you don't know, Okomu is one of Nigeria's largest

[06:20] and most efficient oil palm producers. Uh, they own thousands of hectares of oil palm plantations. They harvest the fruit, they process it into crude palm oil and palm kernel oil and then they sell it globally. Now, based on reports,

[06:32] their profitability has been accelerating a lot and their plantations are now at maximum productivity. What this means is that they get higher yields per hectare and this means more fruit will be harvested per plant. And

[06:44] they have more palm oil, which means they now make more profit. And if you are checking right now, the global palm oil prices are going up due to our supply concerns in some countries in the world. And Nigerian palm oil is actually

[06:57] becoming increasingly competitive on the world market for palm oil. And for Okomu Oil Palm right now, they are also expanding into specialty palm products. going into palm-based cosmetics, pharmaceutical ingredients and many more

[07:11] like that. And this moves them from just commodity producer to now specialty product producer, which will also give them higher margins. And when it comes dividend history is very good, it is very excellent. Uh, their shareholders

[07:24] dividends for decades. So, I think this is perfect for dividend investors and agricultural commodities and maybe you also want potential capital

[07:36] on this list for this month. Now, the fourth stock on my list for this month is Access Holdings. Now, Access Holdings owns Access Bank, one of Africa's largest banks by total assets, and they currently operate in 20 plus African

[07:50] countries, and they are building a pan-African financial services platform. is across all of their operations in Nigeria, uh in Ghana, Zambia, South Africa, Kenya, I think Tanzania, and many more out there. And they're making

[08:05] money from these different countries. And when a company is actually making that that will increase the potential profit for that company. And right now, their fintech subsidiaries are scaling,

[08:17] their returns on fintech investment are exponential, their asset quality is are also among the lowest in the industry. And when it comes to dividend solid, and it is also growing. And personally, I think Access Holdings is

[08:31] best for long-term investors. So, that's number four for this month. Now, number Dangote Cement. Now, Dangote Cement is the undisputed king of Nigeria's cement industry. Uh they produce millions of

[08:45] metric tons annually, more than all their competitors combined. And from the is actually expanding with their margins, too. And right now, there are so many building projects happening in Nigeria. So, what this means is that we

[08:58] have more roads, more bridges, more buildings under construction. And this means that we'll have more cement demand. And Dangote Cement is ahead of also, the company is expanding their capacity every single day. And in terms

[09:12] of dividends, too, I think their dividend is solid, and it's also growing. And Dangote Cement is known as a reliable dividend payer in the stock market. So, this is another stock that is perfect for long-term investors and

[09:24] those of you that want dividend income. Now, number six on my list for this month is Unilever Nigeria. Now, Unilever is the country's leading consumer goods company. They make things like Lux soap, I'm no, Blue Band, and dozens of trusted

[09:38] household items out there. And Unilever is a global consumer goods giant with massive presence in Nigeria. And right now, consumer spending is increasing strongly in the country as people are now spending more money. And this is

[09:51] based on report, they also sourcing more manufacturing more of their product in Nigeria instead of importing. I said this in my last video, and this is another way for them to increase margins

[10:04] stock last month, too, in case you didn't remember, and it did about 17 or maybe 18% in returns just last month. And for me, I will buy more of this if you are a dividend and growth

[10:18] consider adding this to your portfolio for this month. Now, for number seven, it is Dangote Sugar. Now, for this one, I've highlighted this transformation because they keep delivering. Now,

[10:31] are aggressively pursuing backward integration into sugarcane cultivation. Now, what does this mean? Now, what this produce their sugar locally without having to import raw materials. They are

[10:44] having their own sugarcane plantations around the country. And this will also help them to increase their margins and also get ahead in terms of profit. And recently, Dangote Sugar just announced that they are ramping up ethanol

[10:56] production, a byproduct of their sugar operations. And right now, Nigeria mandate 10% ethanol blending in gasoline. So, there's guaranteed demand for their ethanol right now. They're also exploring animal feed production

[11:08] from sugarcane processing byproduct, which means that nothing goes to waste. everything that they have, everything that they use, all of their raw them. And in terms of dividend, I think dividend for Dangote Sugar is growing

[11:21] that you should be putting more confidence in the management of this this stock has actually, I think doubled or tripled from the beginning of this for this. So, if you have not started investing in Dangote Sugar, please go

[11:36] ahead and consider adding it to your portfolio for this month. Now, for it is Seplat Energy. Now, Seplat is a Nigerian-owned oil and gas producing company, and it is one of Nigeria's leading companies in the energy sector.

[11:50] series on this channel, you should know by now that this is one of my favorite stocks to buy in the energy sector. That's been doing really well since the beginning of the year with about I think 95 to about 100% in returns since

[12:02] January 1st, 2026. But right now, the price has actually come down a little more Seplat shares. And right now, this of projects, and we are looking forward to how this stock will perform from now

[12:16] till the end of the year. And if you want to invest in dividend stocks, I think you should also consider Seplat Energy. It is really, really good. And for this month. For number nine on my

[12:28] any stock on this list that maybe I'm not sure of, I think it is this one. But would definitely add it to my watch list, and I can buy it, or maybe I will yet. But for those of you that might not know, uh BUA Foods is a diversified food

[12:45] production company with operations in flour milling, uh sugar refining, uh pasta production, and also rice processing. And right now, they're also They're partnering with different wheat farmers, and they're securing different

[12:58] sugarcane supplies. What this means for them is that it protects them from commodity price swings, and also help them to improve their profit margin. And with sugar demand in Nigeria, which is growing at about 10% annually, I think

[13:10] BUA has the capacity to actually meet this demand in Nigeria. And they're also expanding into premium and specialty food products. That is things like I cereals, you have oat food core options, and so on like that. And as consumers

[13:24] will be making more sales with this premium product in Nigeria. So, if you in your stock portfolio and you also want dividends, then you can consider Bua Foods in your portfolio this month. Now, for number 10 on my list for this

[13:39] month, it is GTCO. Now, you are watching this video right now, I'm very sure that there is a high probability that you are holding GTCO shares or maybe you plan to because almost everyone I know who is investing in the stock market has this

[13:51] trending recently. Though, I'm not surprised because their earnings report is really making a lot of money and the investors are also making money. And even just last month, the stock did about, I think, 10% about 15% and it is

[14:06] on 43% since the beginning of this year. And for GTCO, their subsidiaries are also growing and making profit and things are really moving good for GTCO. not investing in GTCO right now, please you should also consider it for this

[14:20] month. It is great for growth and dividend investors who also want to bank in exposure with a fintech angle in their portfolio. So, those are my top 10 stocks to buy for this month. Now, the next thing I want to answer is should

[14:32] you actually invest in all of these 10 stocks for this month? Obviously, the answer is no. Now, my advice for you is that you should go ahead and pick maybe of this list and buy. And my recommendation is that you should pick

[14:45] two companies from the banking sector on this list and maybe one from the agricultural sector and maybe one energy company and maybe MTN Nigeria if you want to. But, you can pick the ones you have more interest in. It's all depends

[14:57] on you. So, those are my top 10 stocks to buy for August 2026. Feel free to let me know which one of them you will buy for this month and please don't forget the YouTube channel and please help us get to 20,000 subscribers. Share this
