32sGenuine excitement and praise for the trailer's beautiful cinematography and Spider-Verse inspired shots.
▶ Play ClipThe video is a live reaction and analysis of the first trailer for 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day'. The host, Eric Boss, watches the trailer for the first time and shares his initial thoughts, focusing on key reveals like Sadie Sink's character, Peter's physical changes, and the implications for the MCU's mutant saga.
The host watches the trailer for the first time and reacts to key moments, including Peter's emotional state, the appearance of Sadie Sink, and the use of the word 'mutate'.
The host speculates that Sadie Sink is playing Jean Grey, based on her containment, green outfit, and the body-hopping consciousness shown in the trailer.
The host notes that Bruce Banner says 'mutate' in the trailer, which is a deliberate word choice to hint at the mutant saga without calling Peter a mutant.
The host explains that the movie is set four years after No Way Home and directly deals with the consequences of the memory wipe spell.
The host discusses Peter's physical changes, including organic webbing and a cocoon, suggesting a natural evolution triggered by his connection to other Spider-Men.
The host lists the villains seen in the trailer: Tombstone, Scorpion, Boomerang, Tarantula, and the Hand, and speculates on their roles.
The host theorizes that Jean Grey's introduction is a setup for the mutant saga, with her Phoenix powers being used in Secret Wars and then resetting her character.

10:15[00:00] Welcome back to New Rockstars. I'm Eric
[00:01] Boss and this is going to be a reaction
[00:03] to the new trailer for Spider-Man Brand
[00:05] New Day. We are live here on the New
[00:07] Rockstars channel dealing with all the
[00:09] fun stuff that live streams bring. And
[00:11] I'm going to watch this trailer for the
[00:13] first time. I have not seen it yet. All
[00:15] I've seen are these crazy one second
[00:17] clips that kept coming out all
[00:19] throughout the day on Tuesday. What a
[00:20] weird thing that Sony did. But the
[00:22] trailer is now here. I'm hearing good
[00:24] things about it. I'm going to watch it
[00:26] now. I'm going to go through my general
[00:28] thoughts. I'm going to try my best to
[00:29] take your questions to it. Uh, and then
[00:31] I'm going to spend the rest of this
[00:32] workday going through it frame by frame
[00:34] for like eight hours to try to find
[00:36] everything because I think you really do
[00:37] need to spend that much time with a
[00:39] trailer like these Marvel trailers to
[00:41] find everything in it. And then that
[00:42] proper in-depth analysis and breakdown
[00:44] is going to be coming out on the New
[00:45] Rockstars channel tomorrow that's going
[00:47] to have all the Easter eggs in it. Today
[00:48] we're just going to go through your
[00:50] biggest questions and I'm going to watch
[00:52] through this once. I think I've delayed
[00:54] it enough. All
[00:56] right. Three, two, one. Let's go.
[01:09] >> Oh, Peter's watching their first day at
[01:11] MIT and he can't enjoy it. That's so
[01:16] cruel. Our poor boy.
[01:24] Oh, music. We're definitely silencing
[01:26] this out.
[01:29] >> You don't remember me, but we used to
[01:31] know each other.
[01:34] >> Oh, laundry day.
[01:37] >> Okay. Daredevil spoiler maybe, cuz
[01:40] that's Sheila Rivera.
[01:47] >> Whoa. Whoa.
[01:50] You just hit me with a
[01:58] >> Whoa.
[02:02] >> Go home.
[02:06] >> Peter Parker's heart.
[02:12] >> What is happening?
[02:13] >> That looked like Ezra Bridger there
[02:14] macking on MJ.
[02:20] I sense a new Rockstar's thumbnail
[02:22] somewhere in that shot.
[02:28] >> Yay.
[02:31] >> Oh man.
[02:37] >> Did I hear the M word? DNA is mutating.
[02:41] >> Now he said mutate, which is different
[02:43] from mutant. Wait, that was sad sink.
[02:50] Whoa. What?
[02:55] >> Whoa.
[02:58] >> Okay.
[03:02] >> This looks beautiful.
[03:14] >> Whoa, the hand.
[03:17] Whoa.
[03:30] [laughter]
[03:32] >> Oh, wow. Uh, this trailer looks
[03:36] stunning. It looks so good, guys. Um,
[03:40] and uh, if I I just like I don't know
[03:43] why I'm surprised that Destin Daniel
[03:45] [ __ ] could make something that looks
[03:47] this beautiful. I mean, just these
[03:48] opening shots of like Peter being
[03:51] inverted like this is the most like the
[03:55] Into the Spider-Verse, across the
[03:56] Spider-Verse type imagery that um, Tom
[03:58] Holland, Peter Parker has ever looked in
[04:00] live action. Um,
[04:04] so many takeaways we can get from uh,
[04:07] the Sadie sink of it all. the fact that
[04:09] she really does seem to be Jean Gray if
[04:12] you ask me. I mean, uh, okay, we're
[04:14] going to get into all of this. Um,
[04:16] before we get into this discussion, the
[04:18] shirt that I'm wearing is our who's who
[04:21] shirt that is, uh, the three, uh, Marvel
[04:24] heroes that are going to be big in this,
[04:28] uh, in this movie. You understand the
[04:30] meme. This shirt's available exclusively
[04:33] at our merch store, nerdriot.shot,
[04:35] baby. Uh, it's like really the best way
[04:38] you can support what we're doing here at
[04:39] New Rockstars.
[04:41] Um, I want to take some of the comments
[04:43] that I've seen come through, flying
[04:47] through. Um,
[04:50] oh, immediate regret. Uh, immediate
[04:53] regret. Uh, guys, uh, the fact that like
[04:56] all of you are joining me. Um, this is,
[05:01] uh, just so cool to be able to be here
[05:03] liveing with you. Uh, let's see. cryptic
[05:05] UK saying, "Has he been poisoned? Evolve
[05:07] or die story?" Yeah, I don't know if
[05:09] he's been poisoned or if this is just
[05:10] some kind of like natural rebirth that
[05:12] like the voice of Marvin Jones the third
[05:14] as tombstone is suggesting he's going
[05:15] through that this is just some kind of
[05:17] natural life cycle that like he was
[05:19] always destined to happen. Or I I have a
[05:22] kind of a a hairbrain theory that like
[05:24] with the oncoming events of Doomsday and
[05:26] Secret Wars, this is a natural evolution
[05:28] brought on by the arachno frequency that
[05:30] was triggered by his connection with his
[05:32] brothers in the last movie. This isn't
[05:34] just like a reset of a of a trilogy.
[05:36] This is like the fourth movie in a
[05:38] series that is going to deal with the
[05:40] impact of what happened in Spider-Man No
[05:42] Way Home. Not just the memory wipe
[05:43] spell, but the fact that the memory wipe
[05:45] spell is so big in this trailer, right?
[05:48] They're not just like brushing
[05:49] everything that happened in No Way Home
[05:51] under the rug. They're dealing with the
[05:52] direct impact of like that memory wife
[05:54] spell and how it affected not just MJ
[05:56] and Ned but also like other Avengers in
[05:58] this universe specifically
[06:01] um uh Bruce Banner. Peter's now at
[06:03] Empire State University and and I think
[06:06] like everything that happened is like
[06:09] still weighing on Peter Parker both on
[06:11] his mind and his physiology.
[06:13] Uh, so I hearing the rumors that this
[06:16] was going to be dealing with like Peter
[06:18] having organic webbing, maybe cocooning
[06:20] into a man spider form. I I'll be
[06:22] honest, I didn't dig that. I I didn't
[06:24] really know what to make of all that.
[06:26] Um, so but now watching this, I get it.
[06:29] Like I I feel like I get what they're
[06:31] trying to do. Um, so let's talk about
[06:36] the Sadie Sync element of this movie. So
[06:40] here's one new shot. A lot of you guys
[06:43] were saying, "Oh, it's just a leaked
[06:44] trailer." There's a lot of news shots in
[06:46] this that like from what I understand,
[06:48] we're not in a leaked trailer. Uh, so
[06:51] Sadie Sink is playing this character
[06:53] wearing kind of a green outfit in this
[06:55] shot in what kind of looks like Batman's
[06:58] lair in the Dark Knight, this kind of um
[07:02] sensory deprived room where they try to
[07:04] give her a nice comfortable office
[07:06] dormatory space that they have to put
[07:08] this kind of shielding around. Notice
[07:11] not just like the wooden paneling, but
[07:13] like whatever these things are. These
[07:16] things look like kind of the the
[07:19] repulsor technology from the Stark Tech
[07:22] drones that are used to just zap whoever
[07:25] this is the moment she gets out of line
[07:27] or just stun her. Uh the hedgehogs from
[07:30] Stranger Things final season. Um we
[07:33] don't see Satie Sing's face. We don't
[07:35] even hear her voice. Um,
[07:38] so, uh, a question that people are
[07:43] having, sorry I might have missed it.
[07:45] Someone asking specifically if it is
[07:49] screw ball. I believe I saw a super chat
[07:52] from
[07:55] um,
[07:57] someone saying it's screw ball.
[08:00] Real quick, I just want to make sure I
[08:02] shout you out.
[08:06] Uh, Blizzard, Blizzards, thank you for
[08:09] your super chat saying manifesting that
[08:11] Satie is playing screw ball. Um, also
[08:15] Alfie in thank you for your super chat
[08:16] saying, "Do we think we get uh Jean Gray
[08:18] or Maline Prior?" Uh, yeah, all all
[08:22] valid questions. Um, sorry I wasn't able
[08:25] to feature yours on screen here like I'm
[08:26] going to do with you, Dan Smith saying,
[08:28] "Been a huge friend for years.
[08:29] Appreciate everything you do and the
[08:30] team do." Thank you so much. Um, I don't
[08:34] think it is Meline Prior and I don't
[08:36] think it's Screwball. So, just to kind
[08:37] of explain who Screwball is. Screwball
[08:40] is like a social media influencer
[08:42] villain to Peter Parker who was brought
[08:44] about in like 2008, close to the brand
[08:46] new day era. If if Satie Sync was
[08:48] Screwball, I don't know why they would
[08:49] bring back Screwball for Secret Wars.
[08:51] That's kind of my my question with that.
[08:54] I think she's got to be a bigger
[08:55] character than that. And the reason I
[08:57] think that she is Gan Gray is
[08:58] specifically this sequence here where
[09:00] there is a random woman who seems to be
[09:03] possessed by some other kind of
[09:05] consciousness who smiles when she sees
[09:08] Spider-Man and then that consciousness
[09:09] jumps into this random soldier and then
[09:11] Peter looks over here and that
[09:13] consciousness randomly jumps up to this
[09:14] guy up here. Who is that? Trema?
[09:19] No, it could just be another guy. So,
[09:20] it's we're talking about a consciousness
[09:23] body hopper. And there's not many people
[09:26] in the Marvel world who have a power set
[09:27] like that other than kind of a psionic
[09:30] mutant like either Professor Charles
[09:32] Xavier or or Gan Gray. Um, also just the
[09:36] shots of her fists clenching when she's
[09:38] in this containment. Doesn't it look
[09:39] like she kind of has some kind of
[09:41] Phoenix Force ability? Now, again, I
[09:43] don't know if like
[09:45] it's her fists that are causing this
[09:47] explosion. It could just be a match cut
[09:49] of some kind, but if they need to keep
[09:52] her under containment that way, you
[09:53] don't keep screw ball under containment
[09:55] like this. That's all I'm saying. I had
[09:58] a whole theory uh last week on why would
[10:01] you introduce Gan Gray right now in the
[10:04] MCU? I get it. It's weird. We're about
[10:06] to have Doomsday. We're about to have
[10:07] Secret Wars. If you're going to have a
[10:09] mutant saga after that, why why do you
[10:11] need Gan Gray in this street level
[10:13] Spider-Man story? My theory was that,
[10:15] well, we do want to use this
[10:17] high-profile Spider-Man movie to set up
[10:18] the mutant saga, right? That's an
[10:20] important thing. Um, and if you're going
[10:24] to do that, you do kind of need to see
[10:27] someone who matters to that next era.
[10:30] But you set her up now in order to
[10:32] supercharge her into the Phoenix Force
[10:34] in Secret Wars. You burn out that star
[10:37] power in Secret Wars. you deplete her so
[10:40] that she ends the Secret Wars conflict
[10:41] in whatever the new restored MCU is
[10:44] after that as just Gan Gray, young Gan
[10:46] Gray stepping into the mutant academy of
[10:48] the X-Mansion with other mutants of her
[10:52] age group. Scott Summers, Hank McCoy,
[10:56] Warren Worthington III, Bobby Drake,
[10:58] maybe even Camala Khan, uh, Billy
[11:01] Maximoff, these other mutants who can
[11:03] just kind of join this new class of
[11:04] mutants. And the Phoenix element of her
[11:08] life is behind her. So then she can just
[11:11] forge her own destiny without having to
[11:13] like set up this awkward Dark Phoenix
[11:16] saga, which was the mistake that was
[11:19] made with Gan Gray in the past eras.
[11:21] Marvel girl Gan Gray is interesting in
[11:24] her own right and that's something that
[11:25] they could explore in the mutant saga
[11:26] and I think I think Sadie Sync would be
[11:28] perfect for um talking about the what's
[11:32] going on with Peter Sticky Peter thank
[11:35] you for your super chat Sora saying are
[11:37] we going to get four arms Peter
[11:39] referring to Manspider there was a lot
[11:41] of theories and speculation that that's
[11:43] what we're going to see in this movie
[11:44] that uh man spider is like the weird
[11:48] physical formation while I think that
[11:50] maybe in concept art and that maybe a
[11:52] form Peter takes at some point in the
[11:54] movie. I don't think that's what it's
[11:55] all setting up. I don't think that's
[11:56] where it's all going. I think the idea
[11:59] is that his body is now going through
[12:01] some kind of physical adaptations. You
[12:03] could even call it evolution, but
[12:04] evolution requires multiple generations
[12:06] of a species over like millennia. This
[12:09] is more of an adaptation. This life
[12:10] cycle that this voice that we hear
[12:12] throughout the trailer, this voice, it's
[12:14] it's not Tal Tman. Tremal Toman has a
[12:16] different register of his voice. I'm
[12:18] pretty sure this is the voice of Marvin
[12:19] Jones III who's playing Tombstone. Weird
[12:22] that you would feature his voice
[12:23] throughout the trailer without like
[12:25] showing his character or or establishing
[12:27] why he's so important to Peter Parker in
[12:28] the story. Um, we don't know who the
[12:30] real villain of the story is. If it's
[12:32] just Trel Tilman as this government
[12:34] authority who is hunting down Satie
[12:36] Sink's character or if it's just like a
[12:38] a combination of a lot of these
[12:39] characters. But I think the key word in
[12:41] this is mutate. The fact that it comes
[12:44] from our resident scientist Bruce Banner
[12:46] specifically in this trailer um saying
[12:50] the word mutate in the trailer is not an
[12:52] accident. Like guys, I'm telling you
[12:55] like and and they say mutate. They're
[12:57] not going to say that Peter Parker is a
[12:58] mutant a n cuz I think obviously that's
[13:02] that's not exactly what Peter Parker is.
[13:04] But in the pages of the Marvel comics, a
[13:06] lot of people have an understanding that
[13:08] like Peter Parker while we is not a born
[13:10] mutant with an exgene. He does have this
[13:13] mutate at quality that um likens him
[13:17] with the mutants. Specifically during
[13:19] House of M when Wanda Maximoff creates
[13:22] that alternate universe, he is
[13:24] considered with the upper class of
[13:26] whatever the superenhanced people are,
[13:28] which is mostly mutants in that world.
[13:30] So he's not a mutant, but I think
[13:32] they're going to use this movie to kind
[13:33] of explain how this works. And uh this
[13:37] theory, this hairbrain theory that I've
[13:38] been referring to is uh is
[13:45] how do the mutations come about? Is this
[13:48] like an adaptation? Um
[13:52] is this something that
[13:55] uh sorry, I just want to make sure it's
[13:57] all good. Um, is this like an adaptation
[13:59] that is brought about by some natural
[14:02] events that all these characters are
[14:04] about to go through? By that I mean the
[14:06] incursions of Doomsday and Secret Wars.
[14:09] Um, do certain people with X genes in
[14:12] their genomes have an ability to sense
[14:15] what's about to happen and that is
[14:17] bringing about their mut mutant powers.
[14:20] That could be as valid of a reason as
[14:22] anything else. Like in um in X-Men First
[14:25] Class, they imply that like the nuclear
[14:26] age brought this about. Uh in in the
[14:29] first X-Men film in 2000, I think
[14:31] Charles Xavier says something like this
[14:33] is just a natural course of evolution.
[14:35] There was that line in 2012 Avengers
[14:36] where like Thor mentioned that like
[14:38] Earth signaled by tampering with the
[14:41] tesseract that it was ready for a higher
[14:43] form of war and that's what brought
[14:45] about like the forces of Thanos and Loki
[14:47] and the Chitauri. A similar thing could
[14:49] be established in this movie that like
[14:51] Bruce Banner is saying that characters
[14:52] like Spider-Man and other characters who
[14:54] might have dormant ex genes are just
[14:55] like signaling uh through or just the
[14:58] environment that they're in is telling
[14:59] them like hey you need to be more
[15:01] equipped for what's coming. So
[15:05] hope you're not in the most awkward day
[15:07] of puberty that you're in because you're
[15:09] about to have optic blasts coming out of
[15:11] your eyes or ice powers or this ability
[15:13] to hop your consciousness. And maybe Gan
[15:16] Gray is like the first one of the first
[15:18] people to really have that happen
[15:20] because she has the Phoenix force who is
[15:22] detached from reality who can kind of
[15:24] see all this happening. Camala Khan was
[15:26] able to activate her mutant power
[15:28] specifically because it was a
[15:29] combination of other things through the
[15:31] Bengal from the nor dimension uh nor
[15:33] dimension through her maternal ancestry
[15:36] etc etc. Neymar had the specific events
[15:38] of his mother drinking a version of the
[15:41] Caribbean heart-shaped herb while she
[15:43] was pregnant with him. Um, I I know
[15:47] we're covering a lot of ground here. Um,
[15:51] uh,
[15:53] Jamie, I'm not sure what you mean by
[15:54] your question. Do we think this ends uh
[15:56] with No Way Home not fixed? Like not
[15:59] repaired, the memory wipe not repaired?
[16:01] Yeah, I I don't think they're going to
[16:02] reverse the events of No Way Home. I
[16:04] think they're going to build on those
[16:05] events would be my theory. Um,
[16:10] uh,
[16:14] let's see. I'm I'm seeing a lot of super
[16:16] chats come through. I'm trying to
[16:17] feature as many of them on screen. Um,
[16:20] ah, thanks for joining us, Space
[16:21] Dreamer. How do you know it's Satie Sink
[16:23] in the chair? I just got here. Well, we
[16:26] know it's Satie Sink in the chair. I
[16:27] just think because of her hands. I think
[16:30] those are Sadie Sync's hands. And I
[16:32] think we have seen Satie Sync in a
[16:33] similar kind of jumpsuit uh in set
[16:36] photos, but the reason why a lot of
[16:38] people are confirming it's Sadi Sink is
[16:40] this shot right here. We did see Sadi
[16:42] Sync in this exact attire with the hood
[16:45] with that exact jacket. That's Satie
[16:46] Sync. Now, this is in Peter's apartment,
[16:49] believe it or not. Um that's all of his
[16:50] equipment, his his computer screens, and
[16:52] we know it from the sticky shot. Like
[16:57] she she's in Peter's apartment. So, you
[17:00] could argue that it's like she is kind
[17:02] of triggering this, like she is kind of
[17:04] getting inside of his mind. The official
[17:06] synopsis of this movie is that it's set
[17:08] four years after the events of No Way
[17:09] Home and there's some kind of like
[17:10] street level conflict and and physical
[17:12] changes that Peter Parker is going
[17:13] through. So, the question is, is this
[17:15] like a natural thing that he's going
[17:16] through? Did he make a specific choice
[17:18] to go through this? Was he specifically
[17:20] poisoned? Did Gan Gray or whoever Sadie
[17:22] Sync is playing bring this on? We don't
[17:25] know. Uh, we're going to figure it out.
[17:29] Sorry, I'm trying to see other specific
[17:34] comments. Um,
[17:37] okay. We have uh Melo Phantom, thank you
[17:40] for your super chat saying, "Could the
[17:41] scanner used on Peter be a possible
[17:43] future piece of sentinel tech used to
[17:45] identify mutants?" Oh, I hope not
[17:48] because then it's like Peter, why would
[17:49] you submit to this? Honestly, I think
[17:51] what that is I'm trying to find the shot
[17:53] you were talking about. Yeah, it's right
[17:55] here. Um, I think that's like Peter or
[17:58] Bruce's own tech. Maybe that's some
[18:00] gamma radiation. Uh, maybe all mutants
[18:03] do give off a kind of gamma radiation
[18:05] just through their uh genetics. Um,
[18:10] uh, I am Oh, here we go.
[18:16] IM1 180 saying, "Where do we think this
[18:18] story falls within the born again story
[18:20] pre, post or durian?" Well, I'm hesitant
[18:23] to spoil it, but I'm pretty sure I'm
[18:25] pretty sure just the producers and the
[18:26] execs at Marvel have said this is
[18:28] definitely taking place after Daredevil
[18:29] Born Again. And there is a shot in this
[18:31] trailer that I I just I mentioned it
[18:33] during my reaction to the stream that
[18:35] I'm pretty sure establishes it and
[18:37] confirms that this is after the events
[18:40] of Daredevil Born Again season 2 or just
[18:42] like Daredevil Born Again season 2 ends
[18:45] in just a very odd way where the city
[18:47] leadership has to be at least pretending
[18:50] to make nice with certain masked
[18:52] vigilantes in the city. But I I know
[18:54] this does take to answer your question
[18:56] does take place after.
[18:58] Uh Drew Bog saying big fan fellow dad.
[19:01] Thank you to the rest of team for giving
[19:03] fellow dad a place. Uh also how many
[19:04] villains again? I think we're up to like
[19:06] four at this point. Breaking down the
[19:07] villains. We got tombstone played by
[19:09] Marvin Jones III. We got Scorpion played
[19:11] by um Michael Mando, Matt Gargan coming
[19:14] back from Homecoming. Uh we have
[19:16] Boomerang. We have Tarantula. We have
[19:18] whoever Sades Sink is. We have whoever
[19:19] Trel Tilman is. Uh and I think those are
[19:22] the villains. And it looks like we have
[19:24] the hand in this. Let's not forget the
[19:25] hand, guys. Uh the ninjas of the hand.
[19:30] Insane. But knowing that Destin Daniel
[19:32] [ __ ] is directing this, like the guy
[19:35] is so good with stunts and just
[19:37] handtohand combat. It looks like there's
[19:39] going to be some kind of prison break.
[19:40] [laughter]
[19:41] I'm I'm so excited. Um another comment,
[19:46] Corey Kendrill. Uh, do you think instead
[19:50] of some person jumping from person to
[19:51] person, it could be more about a spider
[19:52] life cycle like where some spiders have
[19:54] some form of hypnotosis
[19:57] where they manipulate their prey? I
[19:59] wasn't aware that spiders have that
[20:00] ability. Um, it doesn't look like
[20:02] something that Peter is in control of
[20:04] here. like un unless it's something
[20:06] acting outside of his abilities. I I it
[20:11] it doesn't seem like Peter it seems like
[20:13] someone else is doing this because based
[20:15] on the context of the trailer at least
[20:16] Trel Tilman is saying that this is some
[20:18] other entity that he can't even see. Uh
[20:21] yeah, good question. Does Bruce have the
[20:24] device on his arm? He does. He has that
[20:25] inhibitor device when Peter visits him
[20:27] at Empire State. I believe you can see
[20:29] it here. Yeah, right there. He has uh
[20:32] you can see a hint of the green glow.
[20:33] That's what he had in the Shan Chi
[20:35] postredit scene and in She-Hulk before
[20:37] he got ruptured in She-Hulk. Uh, that's
[20:38] what restores him into human form. Uh,
[20:42] Rogue Canadian saying, "Is this mutation
[20:43] allowing him to have web shooters like
[20:45] the Toby era?" I think that's what this
[20:47] movie is saying, guys. This is wild to
[20:49] me that like Peter will have some
[20:51] organic webbing in this movie. Um,
[20:55] that Yeah, there's that cocoon that
[20:57] everyone was talking about. Yeah,
[20:59] Peter's going to have some organic
[21:00] webbing. I don't know if it's going to
[21:02] be exactly the way it worked like in the
[21:03] Toby era. There's a specific shot where
[21:05] like he sw I'm trying to find it. It was
[21:08] in the clips yesterday. Can't really
[21:10] find it. U but yes, I do think that's
[21:13] they're saying this is going to be a
[21:14] natural evolution. And I do think it was
[21:16] like an evolution that his arachno
[21:17] frequency learned from working with his
[21:19] brothers in the last movie. So much
[21:22] about his suit, so much of what he's
[21:23] going through. It's not just member
[21:24] berries to remind us of these past
[21:26] movies of Andrew Garfield and Tobey
[21:28] Magcguire. I think it's literally the
[21:30] bio- rhythms of his body that is taking
[21:32] him back through these steps of like
[21:34] having these brothers for the first
[21:36] time, these adaptation skills. The
[21:38] arachno frequency is a kind of magic
[21:39] folks that reverberates through the
[21:41] multiverse. And I think being exposed to
[21:44] those brothers taught his instincts on
[21:47] new ways that his body can adapt to his
[21:50] surroundings. And I think that is what
[21:52] we're seeing. That's a kind of
[21:53] evolution. And I don't think it means
[21:55] that Peter Parker has an exgene. I guess
[21:57] a question I have for you all, if Marvel
[21:59] Studios establishes that Peter Parker is
[22:00] a mutant, and if people over at Sony,
[22:02] Tom Rothman, are like, "Yeah, okay with
[22:04] us." Is that going to feel sacrilege to
[22:06] you? Is that going to if they use the
[22:08] M-word, if they label him as having an
[22:10] exgene, is that just going to be a step
[22:11] too far? Because I think in the years
[22:14] ahead there's going to be a lot of
[22:16] characters where who were not
[22:18] technically mutants entics
[22:22] that Marvel Studios may just be like hey
[22:24] we're going to kamalicon this and just
[22:25] say that they have that status just so
[22:27] that everyone can be part of the mutant
[22:28] saga. Uh Robert asking is this all
[22:31] setting up for doomsday? I don't know if
[22:32] doomsday but I do think secret wars in
[22:34] the mutant saga thereafter.
[22:37] Um, the meme father, thank you for your
[22:40] super chat. Say maybe we could get a
[22:41] mention or reference to the spiderverse
[22:43] or web of life. Yeah, that's what I'm
[22:45] kind of saying. I don't know. I I don't
[22:46] know if they're going to say the web of
[22:47] life in Destiny or the Spider-Verse. I
[22:49] don't think this will be a multiverse
[22:50] story, but I do think Peter's going to
[22:52] mention having those other guys from
[22:54] other worlds who just like impacted him.
[22:58] Um, let's see. What are the shots
[22:59] signifying at 208? Are they shots in the
[23:01] montage? Like moving photography? Oh, I
[23:03] think I know what you're talking about.
[23:05] Yeah. So, I think this is going to be
[23:06] part of a sequence. This is something we
[23:08] talked about yesterday. Obviously,
[23:10] recreating Amazing Fantasy 15 from 1963,
[23:12] these kind of slow motion shots. A lot
[23:14] of people think the haze and the smoke
[23:16] and the overcastness of New York City
[23:17] means that this is set during the events
[23:19] of the Thunderbolts final battle and
[23:20] that this is where we're going to see
[23:21] Florence Pew and that Peter Parker is
[23:23] going to be affected by what the Void
[23:25] Century did and sent back to his most
[23:26] traumatic shameful memory, which could
[23:28] include the death of Aunt May, the death
[23:30] of Tony Stark, maybe even the death of
[23:32] uh Uncle Ben. Uh, I don't know about
[23:34] that, but I do think the this is like
[23:37] based off of my experience, the kind of
[23:38] stuff that often does not show up in the
[23:40] movie at all. All right. I do think
[23:43] characters Oh, look at look at his
[23:45] boots. Oh, man. So, yeah, seeing
[23:47] tarantula and boomerang in these shots
[23:49] is very fun. Seeing the hand in these
[23:51] shots, uh, I do think we are going to
[23:53] see this prison break sequence with the
[23:54] hand. Whatever is going on here.
[23:59] Um,
[24:01] sorry I didn't get to the Sooner Hatchet
[24:03] film saying I get that, but I uh would
[24:04] rather have a mutant that would has
[24:05] something with Spidey because Gene and
[24:07] Spidey, as far as I know, has nothing to
[24:08] do with Spidey. Not nothing to do with
[24:10] Spidey, but I get it. Not as much to do
[24:13] with Spidey as someone like Screwball
[24:14] does. But I do think as much as
[24:16] Spider-Man is kind of a pivotal central
[24:18] character to the full Marvel world, you
[24:20] could argue that any major Marvel
[24:22] character has some connection to
[24:23] Spider-Man. He's just crossed over with
[24:25] so many of them uh so many times. Uh
[24:28] meme father, thank you for this other
[24:30] super chat saying a gene gray
[24:31] introduction would be interesting. Yeah.
[24:33] Um
[24:34] yeah, thank you for uh your
[24:36] contribution. Divian saying I love your
[24:39] work. Been following since day one. What
[24:41] do you think about the man spider arc? I
[24:42] don't think man spider is going to be a
[24:43] big part of this. A lot of my thinking
[24:45] is if a character shows up in um in
[24:49] Spider Noir coming to Prime Video and
[24:52] MGM Plus in May, I don't think they're
[24:55] going to be that big or that involved in
[24:58] the plot of Brand New Day. So that
[24:59] includes like Electro Sandman, Mr.
[25:01] Negative. I think those I I I mean Sony
[25:04] is kind of looking at both of these and
[25:06] I just don't think you would have two
[25:07] different versions that are like
[25:09] in different screens that Sony is trying
[25:12] to get us to watch around the same time
[25:14] in the same summer.
[25:16] Um agreed Cameron Craraven saying that
[25:19] the swinging around on the roof is
[25:20] beautiful. It is just stunning. like
[25:23] these shots. I might be wrong, but I
[25:26] think we haven't seen Tom Holland suited
[25:28] up as Peter Parker on a rooftop uh in
[25:31] live action like this, like on top of a
[25:34] roof, suiting up and then going into his
[25:36] action. Like, we've seen him like
[25:38] swinging around from scaffolding and
[25:40] stuff like that, but just like the
[25:41] skyigh Peter Parker here, uh it just
[25:44] feels so right. It feels like he's he
[25:47] really is taking the best of all the
[25:48] worlds of the Andrew Garfield in the the
[25:50] Toby Magguire version. Um
[25:54] Hunter saying, "Oh, look at where he's
[25:56] looking hanging from the cocoon shot.
[25:57] He's getting 100% getting organic
[25:59] webbing." Yeah, I think I think I agree,
[26:01] man. I think like the the fact that he
[26:04] just woke up in this cocoon and doesn't
[26:06] seem to remember how he got there and he
[26:07] can't initially and he tries to do it
[26:10] here like naturally without his web
[26:11] shooters. Like something's going on
[26:13] there. Uh, Rogue in the restaurant he
[26:17] face plants on.
[26:19] Maybe you're talking about the bus
[26:20] later.
[26:24] I'm trying to see exactly what you're
[26:26] talking about.
[26:29] Yeah, I think that's a bus. Um,
[26:33] oh, I hear was with a New York Jets
[26:35] shirt. [laughter]
[26:36] Maybe. I see what you're saying with the
[26:38] hair thing. Uh, maybe if if this is how
[26:41] they introduce Rogue, how funny would
[26:43] that be? Uh, I I don't know because
[26:45] here's what I I've noticed. There was a
[26:48] girl wearing like um what we all thought
[26:50] was Gwen Stacy in Endgame, right? Just
[26:51] because she wore a Hot Topic webbing
[26:53] pattern skirt, she could just have very
[26:55] cool hair. Uh but man, if if they
[26:58] introduce Rogue in this movie, too,
[27:01] I won't say no to that. I love that
[27:03] observation.
[27:05] Um
[27:08] Oh, we already talked about that. Um so,
[27:11] Carolyn, thanks for your super chat.
[27:13] Unfortunately, I don't know if if Mr.
[27:15] Negative will be in the movie. I think
[27:17] uh I will say when I started hearing
[27:19] stuff about this movie, I was like,
[27:20] "This sounds like a perfect opportunity
[27:21] to introduce Martin Lee, especially
[27:23] since we saw the Dark Force in Wonderman
[27:25] and he's such a cool looking character.
[27:27] It's like kind of a no-brainer. Put him
[27:29] put him in a movie, Sony. But we are
[27:31] going to see him in Spider Noir." And
[27:34] now that I'm looking at this trailer, I
[27:35] don't know if you need Spider or if you
[27:37] if you need Mr. Negative in this. Um but
[27:41] I I think we would have heard about it.
[27:43] We would have heard about it.
[27:46] R squared online saying, "What if the
[27:48] natural spider mutation is not caused by
[27:50] mental invasion of gene? What if the
[27:51] symptoms we see are effects of an
[27:53] incoming incursion?" Yeah, that I you
[27:55] and I are on the same aractive
[27:57] frequency, man. Like I I really do think
[28:00] it's I don't know if it's Gene who
[28:02] causes it, but it's just kind of a
[28:03] natural adaptation to one's
[28:05] surroundings.
[28:06] Um, speaking of Scorpion, who's on
[28:08] screen here, the meme father saying, "I
[28:10] hope they give Scorpion the mask
[28:11] helmet." Um, his suit's already pretty
[28:14] mechanized here. And Michael Mando is
[28:16] making the most of it.
[28:20] I don't know if he needs the mask. I
[28:22] think the tail really sells it. How do
[28:25] you get this gear is really the
[28:26] question. Like, who's hooking him up
[28:28] with this? How do he get out of prison?
[28:30] Was there some other kind of criminal
[28:31] entity?
[28:33] Was there a a breakout from the DODC to
[28:36] steal a lot of past weaponry that we've
[28:38] seen from either uh Adrien Tomb's crew
[28:40] or Stark Techch to help build this
[28:42] stuff? A lot of questions I have about
[28:44] this saying what's up with Peter's eyes
[28:47] in the prison.
[28:50] Trying to find the moment you're talking
[28:51] about. Oh, here. Yeah. Right. So, I
[28:54] think this is maybe people are saying
[28:55] man spider's coming about, but this is
[28:57] also part of physiological adaptations
[28:59] that he's having. Um,
[29:02] yeah, because it's there's something
[29:04] dark and red and sinister happening in
[29:06] his eyes. But I don't think he's getting
[29:08] it could be this could be like if she is
[29:10] Gan Gray, the phoenix going into his
[29:12] brain and messing with him. Hey, Fit Dad
[29:16] CEO. Hey Dave. Uh, saying, "Did we talk
[29:19] about the sign behind Peter in the
[29:20] beginning?"
[29:22] Trying to see what you're talking about.
[29:26] I've seen a lot of signs throughout
[29:27] Peter throughout it.
[29:30] If it's this one, no credit given. I
[29:31] like the meta quality of like he doesn't
[29:33] get any credit for helping get his
[29:34] friends in MIT.
[29:37] Uh,
[29:38] everyone go follow Fitad CEO on
[29:40] Instagram and other social platforms.
[29:42] He's like one of the nicest, funniest
[29:43] dudes who makes amazing content. Ah,
[29:46] desktop revealed.
[29:50] Uh, Mean Jackal saying with the
[29:52] connection to Spider-Man's evolution.
[29:55] Could it be Shatra, Calypso, or maybe
[29:58] even Spider Queen? They all have some
[29:59] form of mental ability. You're not
[30:00] wrong, mean jackal. I I just think
[30:03] they're going to get a bigger A-lister
[30:05] name if she's going to be coming back in
[30:06] Secret Wars. That's the reason why I
[30:07] keep drumming the the Jean Gray drum.
[30:11] Um
[30:12] Omar saying, "Do you think Daredevil is
[30:15] in that final shot of Spidey versus the
[30:17] hand? Are they just hiding him
[30:18] digitally?" Oh, I love this kind of
[30:20] speculation. Let's take a look.
[30:23] Oh, like this is like when they hid
[30:26] Andrew Garfield Spider-Man when he was
[30:29] kicking the lizard and they painted him
[30:30] out. God, I hope so. This strikes me as
[30:33] another shot of a another trailer shot
[30:35] that just could be not in the movie at
[30:37] all. Um, so where do you think he would
[30:40] be? Here? Do you think he'd be here? Do
[30:43] you think he'd be like over here in the
[30:45] distant background? Would he be down
[30:47] here? No, I think he'd be like jumping
[30:48] with him. Uh, honestly, I hope they
[30:50] painted out Hulk. I hope they painted
[30:52] out Punisher and Daredevil and Shanqi
[30:54] and that there's like five of them.
[30:56] Let's see. Six on this side. So, we need
[30:58] another six on our side. Uh, Miles.
[31:03] Um, Sean McCra saying, "Could all this
[31:06] be side effects of from Venom fusing?" I
[31:08] don't think Venom's going to be a big
[31:09] part of it. Uh, oh, automatic lights
[31:12] came on. Hold on one second. I'm going
[31:13] to turn off the lights because I don't
[31:14] like the overexposure.
[31:23] Guys, the blue dungeon has to be a
[31:25] dungeon. You can't just like have too
[31:28] many lights coming on in the dungeon. It
[31:29] ruins the whole thing. Uh yeah, I don't
[31:32] know if Venom's going to be part of it.
[31:33] I think that was like a Sony thing at
[31:34] the end of No Way Home to set up Venom:
[31:36] The Last Dance. Someone's saying an
[31:38] awful lot of Daredevil references. I
[31:40] mean, yeah, Punisher, the Hand. You're
[31:42] not wrong.
[31:44] Uh oh, I like this theory from you all
[31:47] tricks. Thanks for your super chat. I've
[31:48] seen some people say that they think
[31:50] Brand New Day takes place during
[31:51] Doomsday, but I think Doomsday is too
[31:52] big for Brand new Day to take place at
[31:54] the same time. I think you're right. I
[31:55] think Doomsday is going to be so
[31:56] cataclysmic. There's going to be a big
[31:58] ass planet in the sky. The atmosphere is
[32:01] going to start to evaporate. Hard hard
[32:03] to make this a street level story if
[32:05] they're taking place at the same time.
[32:07] Why poss? Is this going to be a Sinister
[32:09] 6 story or just different villains in
[32:11] different parts of the movie? Will they
[32:12] team up? Yeah, I think anytime you have
[32:13] multiple Spider-Man villains in a movie,
[32:15] people just default to thinking it's
[32:16] Sinister 6. I get I get that thinking. I
[32:19] um I don't know if that's what's going
[32:22] to happen. I think I don't know why Sony
[32:25] could never figure out a Sinister 6
[32:27] movie. At one point, Drew Goddard, the
[32:28] guy who wrote the script for Project
[32:29] Hail Mary and will be, yes, will be
[32:32] directing the next three Matrix films.
[32:34] Those are happening. Was going to be the
[32:36] guy to do a Sinister 6 movie after The
[32:38] Amazing Spider-Man 2014, but there's a
[32:40] lot of reasons why Sony just pivoted
[32:41] away from that, and that's just not
[32:43] happening anymore. Um kind of a bummer.
[32:48] Um, Corey, thank you for your other
[32:50] super chat saying, "I think the organic
[32:53] webbing, it will be organic webbing. I
[32:56] think uh it's stronger." And that's what
[32:58] we see when he slingshots and screams
[32:59] across the building. Yeah, there is
[33:01] another shot where he definitely is
[33:02] wearing the spider suit. I'm going to
[33:04] try to find it for you guys where he
[33:06] totally is slingshotting himself and
[33:10] there are no web shooters. Like maybe
[33:12] even here.
[33:16] No, there's some web shooters there.
[33:22] We talked about this a lot on
[33:24] yesterday's stream, but certainly ah
[33:26] background revealed.
[33:34] Web shooters there, guys. I don't know
[33:35] why this happening, but you know which
[33:36] one I'm talking about. No mask during
[33:39] the ninja fight. Yeah, I guess you're
[33:41] right.
[33:45] Yeah, right here. No mask.
[33:48] Same task. Uh, I guess the hand doesn't
[33:51] really care. I mean, no one knows who
[33:52] Peter Parker is anyway. Uh, Kevin from
[33:55] Superman giving the other theory that I
[33:58] think Gene awakens Peter's ex gene. I
[33:59] won't be mad. I won't be mad either if
[34:01] that is the source. I think it could be
[34:03] a combination of factors. Like Jean
[34:04] could just be kind of this gateway
[34:06] mutant who awakens a lot of other
[34:07] mutates and mutants and other I think
[34:09] Peter Parker is always going to be an
[34:10] anomalistic weirdo who just got his
[34:12] powers through this kind of like weird
[34:14] accident of a gamma irradiated spider.
[34:16] Um whether or not he has an exgene I
[34:19] don't really know what my opinion is on
[34:20] that. Uh but I think he is just so
[34:24] anomalistic in this universe in every
[34:26] universe. there's only one Spider-Man
[34:29] typically in most universes uh unless
[34:31] there is like a Miles Morales or a Gwen
[34:33] Stacy situation, but even in those
[34:35] cases, it's like an accident causing
[34:36] another accident that leads to a further
[34:38] more specific anomaly. [snorts] Um so if
[34:42] if Gene is the one who just kind of
[34:43] informs him what her journey was and
[34:46] helps him along that biological process,
[34:49] yeah, could be how it goes. Beware the
[34:53] dread saying, "Who was the person in the
[34:54] hoodie? Was the person in the green and
[34:56] yellow hoodie supposed to be a reference
[34:57] to Gan Gray or Hobgoblin? I think it's
[34:59] whoever Sades Sync is playing.
[35:02] I don't think it's uh specifically
[35:05] Hobgoblin. I wouldn't go that far.
[35:08] Everyone kind of wants Ned to be
[35:09] Hobgoblin in this. Uh but I just think
[35:12] this is exactly what what Sadie Sink was
[35:14] wearing in some set photos.
[35:18] Um, Merkco saying, "I think testing that
[35:21] line making Peter think he might be a
[35:22] mutant is compelling, but comics have
[35:24] established he's something different."
[35:26] Yeah agreed.
[35:30] Um,
[35:32] asking if Satie is Typhoid Mary. I don't
[35:34] think so. I don't think they're going to
[35:36] make Typhoid Mary on the billing of
[35:37] Secret Wars, but Typhoid Mary, actually,
[35:40] Typoid Mary made her first appearance in
[35:42] 2005's Electra, if you can believe it.
[35:46] First oncreen appearance. Mario Anthony,
[35:49] do you think the end stinger implies Ned
[35:50] either remembers Peter or befriends him
[35:53] again? Do you think there is an
[35:54] understanding glance between the two?
[35:56] Let's take a look.
[36:09] >> I don't know.
[36:11] I don't think there's an understanding
[36:12] glance.
[36:14] Um,
[36:17] but I I do think they're all clearly
[36:19] obsessed with Spider-Man. Um, I want to
[36:21] know like the fact that Peter moved in
[36:23] across the hall is what I find
[36:25] interesting. He's not going to MIT. He's
[36:26] at Empire State. Or maybe he's not even
[36:28] a student there. He just grabbed a
[36:30] hoodie and went into uh his classroom.
[36:33] Joey Mask asking that same question. Was
[36:35] that Rogue on the bus? I I would love it
[36:37] if it was. Um, Felix saying, "What are
[36:41] your thoughts on how Banner will become
[36:42] the Hulk?" Sadie Peter, what do you
[36:44] think? How Well, I think Banner was
[36:46] always the Hulk and I think he uses this
[36:49] he has this inhibitor device that makes
[36:51] him human again. But yeah, maybe Oh, I
[36:53] hear what you're saying. Like maybe this
[36:56] same adaptation process brings back the
[36:58] Savage Hulk or brings in the Greyhulk
[37:01] iteration of the character. Yeah, I I
[37:03] think everybody who has any kind of
[37:04] enhanced ability that was caused through
[37:06] either some radiation means or genetic
[37:09] means or some other kind of like
[37:12] not like pseudo magical or sci-fi way
[37:16] are going to have some um adaptations
[37:18] triggered and they're all going to go
[37:20] through changes.
[37:22] Dale Dragon Tale says, "Farf theory. The
[37:24] scene with the smiling possessed people.
[37:26] What if that's symbiote hopping to
[37:27] person but uh the FX have not been
[37:29] added?" I don't think they would show us
[37:31] a shot that significant without the VFX.
[37:35] Um, but man, I like how people are
[37:38] trying to keep Venom alive. Like,
[37:41] he's still out there. Uh, and there was
[37:43] some weird plan from Venom: The Last
[37:45] Dance where they wanted to imply things
[37:47] about the MCU based off of what happened
[37:49] at the end of No Way Home. Shay Potter
[37:52] saying, "I think this having to do with
[37:53] mutation. That's why Gan Gray is in
[37:56] this. And the fact that she's a telepath
[37:57] makes me think we're getting Shadow
[37:58] King. What if Shadow King pops into
[38:00] Bruce? I love where you're thinking,
[38:02] Shay. I We don't know for sure if it's
[38:05] Gan Gray. I have to keep saying that.
[38:07] That hasn't been confirmed yet, but um
[38:10] we did get the word mutate in this
[38:12] trailer. That's significant. Um and if
[38:15] you're going to do a proper mutant saga,
[38:17] you do need to have an Amal Farooq. You
[38:19] need to have a Shadow Kang. I encourage
[38:21] everyone to go watch Legion. Uh
[38:23] Amalfaruk is one of these fascinating
[38:26] fascinating super powerful psychic
[38:28] mutants that locks uh in battle with
[38:31] Charles Xavier back in the early 20th
[38:34] century. Um and and basically infests
[38:38] the mind of Charles Xavier's biological
[38:40] son, David Holler, Legion. Uh,
[38:44] I don't know if the general Marvel fan
[38:47] base and and average viewers who see
[38:48] this movie are ready for for Shadow King
[38:51] in this movie, but if that's something
[38:52] they want to bring about in the mutant
[38:54] saga, I'm here for it. Is the hand
[38:56] setting up Iron Fist? Uh, I don't know.
[38:58] I don't know, Alfie. I don't know if uh
[38:59] Danny Ran's going to make it in this
[39:01] movie.
[39:03] Uh, Sand Snake Light saying, "What if
[39:04] Peter is mutating due to Scorpion Sting?
[39:06] Could be gamma powered suit like your
[39:08] friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. That's
[39:10] why he goes to Bruce. Maybe. Oh,
[39:13] perhaps.
[39:15] Yeah, I don't know if it's going to be
[39:16] Scorpion Sting. I think it's going to be
[39:18] maybe that in combination with a lot of
[39:19] other things.
[39:23] Enough said. New York. Uh, do you think
[39:26] they'll do a montage of Peter fighting
[39:27] some of his classic villains like they
[39:28] did in the Fantastic Four First Steps?
[39:30] Yeah, I think you're on to something.
[39:32] Um, now I don't know if the hand is as
[39:34] classic of a Spidey villain as like say
[39:36] Boomerang or Scorpion or um or
[39:41] Tarantula, but I do think these will be
[39:43] part of a montage and you might see like
[39:46] there's there's our rogue possibility.
[39:49] [laughter] I love this. Um,
[39:52] I do think the way these are just so
[39:55] stylized, I think it's going to like all
[39:56] these feel like comic splash pages,
[39:59] don't they? They're beautiful. They're
[40:00] stunning.
[40:02] Uh, and they might be cut, but I do
[40:04] think it is going to be part of a
[40:05] montage similar to Fantastic 4 First
[40:08] Steps. And people really want Danny Rand
[40:11] in there. I I just don't think so.
[40:14] Thank you for your donation.
[40:19] Yeah, not going to argue with you there.
[40:22] Um, what if him seeing MJ flirt is in
[40:25] the void? Oh, that's Peter's like
[40:27] darkest memory is having to watch his ex
[40:30] flirt with Ezra Bridger from Ahsoka.
[40:33] I'll bring up this clip just to show you
[40:34] who I'm talking about. Manus Fondi is uh
[40:36] confirmed to be playing this new guy
[40:38] who's hitting on her. I guess is this is
[40:40] this going to be like Paul Raven from uh
[40:42] the more recent comics, like the guy who
[40:44] like time dilates with MJ. Uh I don't
[40:48] know if he's gonna be They always cast
[40:49] some kind of good-looking dude just to
[40:51] like hit on MJ just to drive Peter
[40:53] crazy. Uh, the fact that you're at this
[40:56] party, Peter, and you're not an MIT
[40:58] student. I don't even think you're in
[41:00] the Boston area. What are you doing?
[41:02] You're lucky you're even allowed to
[41:04] attend the party. You made your choices.
[41:06] Stop lurking after your friends.
[41:09] Yeah, I get why people think the voice
[41:11] sounds like Keith David. I I I just
[41:13] think a not a lot of people know how
[41:14] Marvin Jones III sounds. Uh, I could be
[41:17] wrong. Maybe maybe Keith David is
[41:19] somewhere in this movie, but we know
[41:20] it's not Tal Tman.
[41:24] Thank you, Bruce.
[41:28] Uh, do you think Tom will mention Toby
[41:30] or Toby will have a big cameo of Toby
[41:32] helping him or giving him advice on it?
[41:34] I don't think Toby will have a cameo in
[41:36] this, but I do think we get references
[41:38] to just the other Peters.
[41:41] Yeah, spiders have three life cycles.
[41:44] Now, the life cycles of an insect or an
[41:46] arachnid are not considered mutations.
[41:50] They are considered just the natural
[41:52] stages of of a life cycle that any kind
[41:56] of what's the word I'm looking for
[41:59] invertebrae might also just go through
[42:02] from a a larva stage to a pupus stage to
[42:05] an adult stage whatever it is. Um but
[42:08] it's more referring to the thematic
[42:10] stages of Peter Parker's life the
[42:11] thematic stages of the life cycle. And I
[42:13] think basically that narration is saying
[42:15] he already went through the first three
[42:17] of those stages. So, it means like if
[42:19] you've survived it, now you're going to
[42:21] go through some kind of new form after
[42:24] that third stage.
[42:26] Uh, hey, thanks for your donation. Oh,
[42:28] back. Oh, here we go. Dave's back. Uh,
[42:31] seeing when he falls out of the cocoon,
[42:32] I think some everyone is assuming he's
[42:34] catching himself uh from his organic
[42:35] webbing. And I think someone is catching
[42:37] him and they're trying to throw us off.
[42:39] Let's Let's look at this part.
[42:44] Oh, we do hear a whip.
[42:49] We don't see
[42:52] any web now. It could just be they
[42:54] didn't add it with VFX.
[42:56] Uh but he does he does gesture like he
[42:58] wants it. Dave, you just wanted an
[43:00] excuse for me to go through this frame
[43:02] by frame, didn't you?
[43:06] Uh I don't know if anyone's catching
[43:08] him. Hey, maybe Matt Murdoch catches him
[43:11] or something like that.
[43:14] Oh, you kind of It's hard to tell. Hard
[43:16] to tell.
[43:20] I love you, Dave.
[43:24] Um, Sadi could be Silk and Peter and
[43:26] Silk's connecting Spidey frequency could
[43:28] be something here.
[43:31] Uh, Silk I would have
[43:34] I I don't know. I I don't think they're
[43:36] going to cast her as Silk. I think if
[43:38] you're casting Satie Sink, you just have
[43:40] something else in mind. I'm just trying
[43:41] to imagine what's in the minds of the
[43:42] casting directors. I don't if if I
[43:44] disagree with any of you guys' theories,
[43:45] please don't feel like I'm shutting down
[43:47] your theories. I didn't work on this
[43:49] movie. I I don't know any more than you
[43:50] guys do what's happening. I I'm just
[43:52] trying to I've done this for long enough
[43:54] that I've I'm trying to control my
[43:56] expectations on like how these how these
[43:59] screenwriters, directors, and studio
[44:00] heads really craft these stories and pro
[44:02] and actually cast them. And and so I'm
[44:04] just trying to like hedge my bets a bit.
[44:06] Uh, Frto seen pictures of Spider-Man in
[44:09] the background of MJ's apartment. Yeah.
[44:11] Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I think there's some
[44:12] kind of like fanboying that's happening
[44:13] with Ned and MJ. Or maybe this is kind
[44:16] of a beautiful thing that like even
[44:17] though they forgot who Peter Parker is,
[44:18] that they're still trying to like
[44:20] there's something that's guiding them to
[44:22] try to reconnect with their friend. Like
[44:24] that look of recognition that MJ had at
[44:27] at the doughut store, the cafe at the
[44:30] end of No Way Home, I think is kind of
[44:32] setting up where MJ is here. She has
[44:33] some kind of like that's what love is.
[44:36] It it does guide you to where you're
[44:38] supposed to go. It we all kind of have a
[44:40] spidey sense that connects us with the
[44:42] person we're supposed to be with, I like
[44:44] to believe. And I think that's what
[44:46] what's guiding MJ.
[44:49] Uh Duke weighing in on that. Uh he
[44:54] thinks the whip is an organic thing. We
[44:56] just didn't necessarily see it yet in
[44:57] this trailer shot. Uh Jonas saying, "I'm
[45:00] looking forward to this movie more than
[45:01] Doomsday. Is that crazy?" How do you who
[45:04] do you think is in charge? I think it's
[45:06] okay to be more excited for this in
[45:08] Doomsday just because we're getting some
[45:09] real marketing for this. Um, and I think
[45:12] we now have a clear sense of what this
[45:14] movie is. Who do you think is in charge?
[45:18] I don't know. I in terms of who's the
[45:20] ultimate bad guy of this movie. I don't
[45:22] know. I do. You think we saw the
[45:24] ultimate villain of this movie in this
[45:26] trailer?
[45:27] I don't know.
[45:29] How are Peter and Frank friends? That's
[45:31] a good question because it seems like
[45:32] it's a recent friendship that formed.
[45:34] Maybe we find out in the Punisher one
[45:35] shot. Maybe we find out Dyl Born again
[45:37] season 2. Maybe it's just like, hey,
[45:38] they're both vigilantes who are
[45:40] operating kind of outside of the law and
[45:41] they kind of met each other that way. I
[45:44] like the idea of a livedin Marvel world
[45:45] where the characters all already kind of
[45:47] know each other.
[45:50] Uh yeah, the fact that he's fighting the
[45:51] hand unmasked. We talked about this
[45:52] earlier. Weird. It's odd, but they don't
[45:55] really care. Uh R squared online. It's
[45:57] an inside job. DODC breaks out Scorpion
[46:00] and gives him the tech he needs to
[46:01] capture the rogue mutant Spider-Man. I
[46:03] like this theory. DODC is kind of like
[46:06] equipping these people. I think it's
[46:08] going to be like they stole the stuff.
[46:10] Where's that shot of the hospital or
[46:11] whatever exploding?
[46:14] Oh, it's after Sades sink. His hands
[46:16] blow stuff up.
[46:19] Sorry for the scrubbing everybody. Yeah,
[46:21] here I think this might be a DODC
[46:23] facility because you see like a mixture
[46:24] of medical personnel and then armed
[46:26] soldiers and like it would have to be
[46:27] like a research facility where people
[46:30] are being experimented on um where some
[46:33] of this tech would be kept. There's that
[46:34] like armored vehicle that's over here.
[46:36] So I I think there's going to be like
[46:38] someone who breaks out from here and
[46:39] steals some of the tech. What's in that
[46:42] letter? Who wrote it? Uh I'll dig into
[46:45] that in the breakdown, but we're talking
[46:47] about this opening shot. H I don't know
[46:50] why I should learn how to use my desktop
[46:52] better.
[46:54] Yeah, I'll dig into this breakdown. But
[46:56] I think this is something that like he
[46:58] wrote either to himself or
[47:02] um
[47:05] or to MJ wishing that he could send it.
[47:07] Just putting his thoughts down.
[47:10] Comic Central thinks Tombstone is
[47:12] pulling the strings. I think that could
[47:13] be the case if his voice is in the
[47:14] trailer. Um Iel saying what is Satie
[47:18] Sink is playing young Madame Webb whose
[47:20] hair is red. I don't know. Is her hair
[47:22] always red? I remember her hair being
[47:23] like a shock of white because she was uh
[47:26] Stan Lee's wife. Um
[47:31] hey uh maybe [laughter]
[47:36] Peter would have to be in the Amazon
[47:38] researching spiders with her mother just
[47:40] before she died.
[47:45] Yeah, I'm sorry. You sent this when I
[47:47] was on a different trailer shot, but
[47:48] thank you for sending it. Storming on
[47:51] ahead. Did you see the conspiracy board
[47:52] behind Spider-Man? Yeah. Uh, we talked
[47:54] about this. I think you're on the same
[47:55] wavelength as the rest of us. No visible
[47:58] web shooters in the prison scene. Let's
[48:01] take a look.
[48:05] Um, yeah, I think you're right. Yeah, I
[48:09] don't see any web shooters there. So
[48:11] again, we're seeing a lot of shots in
[48:13] this trailer of just organic wristbased
[48:16] web web projection.
[48:20] Man, people really want Madam Web. I
[48:22] don't blame you. There's something
[48:23] iconic about [laughter]
[48:25] about Dakota Johnson. Hey, speaking of
[48:28] the Sony verse, uh if you guys want to
[48:30] participate in this, New Rockstars is
[48:32] doing another live show at the UCB
[48:34] Theater on April 17th. Um you don't have
[48:37] to be in the LA area to watch it. you
[48:38] can watch like a a a remote live stream
[48:41] of it. Uh and we're going to be doing an
[48:43] a bridgestaged reading of the Jared Leto
[48:46] MorbiiUs
[48:48] screenplay. I know you're like, "Why
[48:50] would you read that? The movie was
[48:51] terrible." Exactly. That's the point. We
[48:52] have to kind of unpack these really bad
[48:54] scripts for it to be fun and explain
[48:56] what the hell happened. And if that one
[48:58] goes well, we'll definitely do one for
[48:59] Madame Webb later this year.
[49:02] Uh a link for that is in the description
[49:04] below. John Wick
[49:07] Y60. Maybe this even with Jal Tilman
[49:10] speaking. I feel like he says danger. It
[49:11] sounds off saying the mutant instead of
[49:13] that sentence. Love New Rockstars. Hey,
[49:15] thanks buddy. Um
[49:19] trying to find the clip you were talking
[49:20] about.
[49:30] >> Danger sounds normal to me. Um, but it
[49:32] could just like a lot of times when you
[49:33] hear audio and trailers or audio in
[49:35] YouTube videos, it's just weirdly out of
[49:37] sync.
[49:39] Uh, Orion says, "Thanks for your Oh,
[49:42] thank you for your donation. Justice for
[49:44] Paul Giamati Rhino." That's what I say.
[49:47] You're not wrong.
[49:51] Um, guys, starting uh I'll give you like
[49:54] I don't know 30 more seconds to get in
[49:57] any other kind of comments or super
[49:58] chats. I'm just going to try to uh rush
[50:01] through as many of these as I can
[50:03] because I do have to get to working on
[50:05] the breakdown. Uh I really appreciate
[50:07] you guys joining me for this live
[50:08] stream. Uh but we'll continue talking
[50:10] for like another 10 minutes or so.
[50:13] Uh Cara Killgrave is a body hopper, too,
[50:16] though. That's true. A lot of
[50:18] characters. I'm not saying there's like
[50:19] no other body hoppers other than people
[50:20] with psionic mutant abilities, but she's
[50:23] just like the most high-profile person.
[50:25] If you're talking about someone who is
[50:26] coming back in Secret Wars, beware of
[50:28] the dread saying. I think the scene with
[50:30] Peter getting flung across the roof is
[50:32] not because of the organic webbing or
[50:33] him trying to hold on the Hulk. You
[50:34] know, a lot of people were saying this
[50:35] yesterday, too, but not to yuck your
[50:38] yum. You just do see
[50:42] you don't you see where Peter's webbing
[50:44] latches on to and there's no Hulk in
[50:46] that
[50:49] shot
[50:51] right here. See right here and right
[50:53] here? That's not Hulk. That's just the
[50:55] side of a building. But I want that to
[50:57] be true. No web shooters here.
[51:01] He just slingshots himself like Toby did
[51:04] on the on the Queensboro Bridge.
[51:07] Uh any chance of Sady's playing a
[51:09] version of Wanda that came into 616
[51:11] during an incursion events of No Way
[51:12] Home. I feel like Lizzie Olsen is the
[51:14] only one who can play Wanda. Sorry, I
[51:17] don't want other variants. And no way or
[51:19] Multiverse of Madness established that
[51:20] like variants of Wanda look like Lizzie
[51:22] Olsen in other universes. I wonder if
[51:24] Banner will Hulk out in the movie. He
[51:26] better. Don't just put Ruffalo in the
[51:28] movie. Give us Hulk. Um MJ is going to
[51:31] figure out his identity again. There's a
[51:33] corkboard fully. Yeah, I think I think
[51:35] she's going to get there naturally just
[51:37] through her own investigation skills.
[51:42] [laughter]
[51:44] Um
[51:47] Sure.
[51:49] Uh [laughter]
[51:51] I love how you're thinking. Look, that's
[51:53] where, you know, Michael Mando, Matt
[51:56] Gargan's prison cellmate, Adrien Tombs,
[52:00] went at the end of MorbiiUs is he glowed
[52:03] in his prison cell and then [laughter]
[52:05] teleported to another dimension where he
[52:07] had a conversation with some person he
[52:08] never met and said, "I don't know what
[52:10] I'm doing here. It has to do with
[52:11] Spider-Man, I think." So, sure. Uh,
[52:14] Joseph saying, "Uh, yeah, the device on
[52:16] his hand, that's his inhibitor bracelet
[52:18] that keeps him in human form."
[52:23] I'm done with Smart Hulk. I'm just
[52:25] saying that right now, guys. I'm so done
[52:27] with Smart Hulk. Give me Bruce Banner.
[52:29] Give me Savage Hulk. You can give me
[52:31] Greyhulk. It's just Smart Hulk. It was I
[52:34] think the one of like the few flaws in
[52:37] Endgame. I I think it worked for like a
[52:40] sequence, but it deprived us of so many
[52:43] of the fun things about Hulk.
[52:47] Fit Dad CEO saying, "I'll never
[52:48] understand why they don't use Hulk more
[52:49] to advertise this movie. It's basically
[52:51] one giant banner." [laughter]
[52:54] Yeah, the man with the puns. You're not
[52:57] wrong, Dave. Yeah, totally right. I the
[53:00] reason they don't do it is the VFX, you
[53:03] know, they they got to CGI him to look
[53:06] really good and better than we've seen
[53:08] him before and they want to make sure
[53:10] that they get that right and they don't
[53:11] want to look it in the trailer and have
[53:12] it look bad. Um, also they put Hulk in a
[53:16] trailer before and then they took him
[53:17] out of the movie and I think all trailer
[53:19] cutters don't want to make that mistake
[53:21] again.
[53:23] Is that Daredevil under the big
[53:25] Spider-Man poster at the end? Let's see.
[53:28] What are you talking about?
[53:34] Oh, are people looking at the clouds?
[53:37] Is this the world on fire that Matt sees
[53:40] when he closes his eyes? I don't know
[53:42] about that. Look, I really want
[53:44] Daredevil to be in this movie, too.
[53:49] Uh, meme father saying, "I wonder if
[53:51] Bruce or Hulk might remember somewhere
[53:52] in their minds who is Peter due to how
[53:55] he asked what Peter's name was again.
[53:59] Um, I think that's one way to interpret
[54:02] what he says.
[54:04] I think he's more just like,
[54:06] >> "I need your help. What did you say?"
[54:08] >> I think what this is establishing is
[54:10] that Peter might not be an actual
[54:12] student at Empire State. And he goes,
[54:13] "Wait, are you actually in my class?"
[54:15] Because I know I have a lecture hall.
[54:17] There's like 150 kids in here, but I
[54:19] don't remember you. Uh, but maybe. Why
[54:23] are Ned and MJ at a party in NYC if
[54:25] they're at MIT? Could be spring break,
[54:28] could be a weekend thing. Peter could be
[54:29] in Boston. We don't know if like that's
[54:31] a New York City party, but yes, it's
[54:34] weird that Peter's there. It's weird
[54:35] that he's across the hall. Part of me
[54:37] feels like could just move on with your
[54:38] life, but if you think that is your
[54:40] soulmate, I just think part of me wants
[54:43] to see Peter move on to like a Gwen
[54:45] Stacy at some point in this life.
[54:47] Um, but maybe they're saving Gwen for
[54:50] like a relationship with Miles.
[54:53] Who do you think is holding Sades
[54:55] character in confinement in that room?
[54:57] Thanks for all the hard work. Thank you,
[54:58] F. Patterson. I think it's the DODC
[55:02] uh or some other kind of mutant
[55:04] containment division.
[55:09] Yeah, I I think we agree. Just pay
[55:11] Meech.
[55:13] Uh sounds like Bill Foster. Oh, you mean
[55:15] like Lawrence Fishburn? I don't know if
[55:18] you're going to get Larry Fishburn in
[55:19] this movie. Could Keith David be the
[55:21] Norman Osborne of the MCU?
[55:24] I I love that casting idea. I just I
[55:27] don't think they're gonna get Norman
[55:28] Osborne in this movie. They should. They
[55:32] should. Um here's kind of like a weird
[55:35] thing is that
[55:38] we already have uh Coleman Domingo doing
[55:41] an excellent take on Norman Osborne in
[55:46] Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.
[55:47] So, if you have another high-profile
[55:49] black actor playing Norman Osborne in
[55:52] live action in the MCU, it kind of I
[55:54] think
[55:56] I don't know. I think it kind of lessens
[55:58] what Coleman Domingo is doing in
[56:00] animation because it it's saying like
[56:02] this cool groundbreaking thing that um
[56:05] that they did for Your Friendly
[56:06] Neighborhood Spider-Man, we're just
[56:09] going to do it here in live action with
[56:10] a different actor. It it just feels like
[56:12] an odd choice to go. Nothing against Ke.
[56:14] I think Keith David would do an amazing
[56:16] job and I think there's a lot of great
[56:17] black actors who can make a great black
[56:19] Norman Osborne and MC. I would just say
[56:20] let it be Coleman Domingo if you're
[56:22] going to do that.
[56:24] Uh Boh say next trailer will definitely
[56:26] feature Hulk and Tombstone when the VFX
[56:28] professes. Yeah, you got to save
[56:29] something for the next trailer, right?
[56:31] And I think that's where you see Hulk
[56:32] and Tombstone
[56:34] and people really really want Iron Fist.
[56:37] I just don't know. The eyes turning
[56:39] dark, a lot of dark colors in his
[56:40] outfits. Could Venom be at play? Um, I I
[56:44] just don't think I think that's a lesson
[56:46] Destin is learning from like past
[56:49] things. I think we're going to try to
[56:50] move away a little bit from the Sony
[56:52] verse. So, I don't know if Venom's going
[56:54] to be part of this, the six extra hands.
[56:56] Yeah, I do think we do see some kind of
[56:58] thing that reminds us of Man Spider
[56:59] where Peter grows extra arms, but I
[57:01] don't think it's going to be called Man
[57:02] Spider, and I don't think it's going to
[57:03] be a big part of the plot. I think it's
[57:05] just going to be like as his body is
[57:07] aggressively changing, weird stuff like
[57:08] that is going to happen. Uh,
[57:11] Sinisterics. Yeah, it would be
[57:12] interesting. They should do it at some
[57:14] point. Uh, a lot of people think Paul is
[57:17] Flash.
[57:19] Oh, are you talking about
[57:23] They think that's Flash Thompson at the
[57:25] party. Yeah, that that's not Tony
[57:27] Ralori.
[57:29] Although, is this the blonde neighbor?
[57:31] Is that an Is that Gwen?
[57:34] >> No, it's not. Yeah, that's not Flash.
[57:36] That's Fondi.
[57:40] Um, I think we should get a reference to
[57:42] the web of life in Destiny. We don't
[57:45] need Madame Web in this movie. How do we
[57:47] think Scorpion gets a suit? Could
[57:48] Tombstone or Kingpin be the one funding
[57:50] all the bad guys? Hey, now we're talking
[57:52] about who could be a big bad. You know,
[57:54] Denafhrio had made some comments that
[57:56] like his version of Kingpin cannot be in
[57:58] a Spider-Man movie. And I and I do think
[58:01] he's right there. I think there's some
[58:02] kind of legal reasons why. I think we
[58:04] can and I think there's just some things
[58:06] that happen in this trailer that imply
[58:08] that Wilson Fisk may not be in the same
[58:10] position that he's in during Daredevil
[58:12] Born again. Um, but I do think Tombstone
[58:15] could be kind of a a crime boss who's
[58:18] who's helping fund a lot of this.
[58:21] Do we see something dark on Peter's face
[58:23] at the end? Are you talking about maybe
[58:26] some more Venom thinking? I think you're
[58:28] talking about this, right?
[58:30] Something in his eyes. I think it's just
[58:32] Jean. I think it's Gene in his eyes.
[58:35] Your biggest takeaway you hope to see in
[58:37] this film? Just Savage Hulk. That's what
[58:40] I want. I want to see Hulk be Hulk
[58:42] again. I don't really need to see Grey
[58:45] Hulk. I just want to see a big green
[58:46] Savage Hulk who isn't smart, who's just
[58:49] reactive and angry and gets angrier and
[58:52] angrier and breaks things. If you're
[58:53] going to put Hulk in a movie, give me
[58:55] that. That's what I want. Um, so whoever
[58:59] is called mutant or similar wording will
[59:01] be considered to be surviving both
[59:02] Avengers movies can be with X-Men and
[59:04] Mutants Slater. Yeah. Yes, I do think
[59:07] that's what's going to happen. They're
[59:09] going to start introducing this
[59:10] nomenclature here in this movie.
[59:14] Thanks for your donation, Leech. Um,
[59:17] Peter's red eyes reminded me of the
[59:19] instant kill mode. Instant kill mode
[59:22] like from his uh Stark era suit. Could
[59:26] we see a natural version of that?
[59:28] What would a natural version look like?
[59:30] Does he just go like berserker with his
[59:32] six arms on somebody?
[59:35] [laughter] That's fun. Or does he have
[59:36] some kind of poison stinger or something
[59:38] like that? [snorts]
[59:39] Uh, no. I think I'm going to go with the
[59:41] theory that this is just gene in his
[59:42] head. I know there's a lot to scan. I
[59:44] suggest taking him before the mutation.
[59:46] Last known activity. Urban traversal
[59:48] synthetic filament. I think. Uh, are you
[59:51] talking about on the screen?
[1:00:07] There you go.
[1:00:14] Yeah, I'll look at all this in the
[1:00:16] breakdown to figure out all this stuff,
[1:00:17] guys.
[1:00:19] Thanks for your patience. Again, that
[1:00:20] breakdown video is going to be coming to
[1:00:21] the New Roxers channel tomorrow. I need
[1:00:23] I need several hours.
[1:00:26] Uh, who's the big That's kind of the big
[1:00:28] question of this, right? Tombstone,
[1:00:30] maybe.
[1:00:32] Um, is nature or evolution just the big
[1:00:36] bad? Oh, you're right. Power Maker. MJ
[1:00:39] is wearing the same necklace and it's
[1:00:41] sweet right here. Maybe. Yeah, she's
[1:00:44] wearing that broken black Dalia
[1:00:45] necklace.
[1:00:48] That jacket and sweatshirt looks like
[1:00:50] what Eddie Brock wears in Venom.
[1:00:52] Not sure. Is this uh the Sadie Sync
[1:00:56] thing? Yeah. I don't
[1:00:58] I don't know.
[1:01:02] It's also what Sadie Sync wears in set
[1:01:04] photos.
[1:01:06] Explain that people remember Spider-Man
[1:01:08] but not Peter. Yeah, I think you're
[1:01:10] right.
[1:01:12] Uh wait, is the cocoon scene the same as
[1:01:13] Sadi with the PC? Yeah, it is the same
[1:01:15] room.
[1:01:17] Yes, agreed. I think that is what's
[1:01:19] happening. Uh, what kind of job? Uh,
[1:01:23] hopefully it's related to taking photos
[1:01:24] for the Daily Bugle.
[1:01:28] Where do you think MJ and Ned fit into
[1:01:29] the story? Do you think Remember finds
[1:01:31] out who Spider-Man really is by the end?
[1:01:33] Yes, I think they're going to be
[1:01:34] investigating all of that.
[1:01:38] Wearing the web shooter so openly.
[1:01:42] Um, maybe referring to a different shot
[1:01:44] where he just has them out when he looks
[1:01:46] like Peter.
[1:01:47] What orifice asking the right question?
[1:01:51] I think it's going to be implied his
[1:01:53] wrists, but you know, there have been
[1:01:55] other theories.
[1:02:01] Um,
[1:02:03] it just sounds like Keith David. There's
[1:02:04] no confirmation that Keith David's doing
[1:02:06] anything. Um, but Keith David, Charles
[1:02:09] Xavier, that could work, too. I just
[1:02:11] love his voice. Um,
[1:02:15] for the DODC to act on that, I I think
[1:02:17] the DOTC just kind of suspects all
[1:02:20] enhanced people regardless of their
[1:02:22] genetic codecs because they would also
[1:02:24] need technology to scan their genetics
[1:02:26] similar to what Bruno has. Now, I think
[1:02:27] Bruno is going to be an intern for the
[1:02:29] DODC because that kid has narc written
[1:02:30] all over him.
[1:02:32] Uh, yeah, maybe it is that letter from
[1:02:35] No Way Home that he was going to give to
[1:02:36] MJ at the end.
[1:02:39] Um, I do think eventually, just not in
[1:02:42] this movie. Uh, not sure how he could
[1:02:44] stop Hulk without the nice help.
[1:02:49] Um, yeah, I don't think he could stop
[1:02:51] Hulk either. I don't think he's not I
[1:02:53] don't think he's strong enough.
[1:02:55] Yeah, I would love it. And I think
[1:02:56] Kingpin is kind of a natural foe to
[1:02:59] Peter Parker. It's just, you know,
[1:03:00] according to Denafhrio, he can't be in
[1:03:04] this movie due to legal rights issues.
[1:03:08] Yeah. So, we'll we'll talk about this in
[1:03:10] the breakdown, but they do establish
[1:03:11] something about Deritable Born Again
[1:03:13] season two with this trailer. Uh Harry
[1:03:15] Osborne with MJ. If you think Iman is
[1:03:17] Fondi's playing Harry Osborne, I think
[1:03:19] Aman could do a great job with that.
[1:03:24] Yeah, our man
[1:03:26] got some Mark Wahberg gun shows over
[1:03:29] there. [laughter] Tom Holland is a very
[1:03:32] physically disciplined performer. He
[1:03:34] like in he was like, you know, a dancer
[1:03:37] in Billy Elliott. The the guy is is so
[1:03:39] committed to his art form. Um and so
[1:03:44] good for him. Uh I I don't know how he's
[1:03:46] able to keep up with that regimen.
[1:03:49] Uh DODC equal Friends of Humanity. I
[1:03:51] think we're going to meet a lot of
[1:03:52] different mutant groups in the Mutant
[1:03:53] Saga. I don't know if it means like
[1:03:55] Friends of Humanity in particular.
[1:03:58] Could Venom be in there? I think I just
[1:04:00] think Sony's moving away from Venom
[1:04:02] here. U Peter's hand at 114. Is it just
[1:04:06] a shadow?
[1:04:14] I don't see his left hand.
[1:04:17] You might have a different time code
[1:04:18] than me.
[1:04:20] Yeah, I don't know which one you're
[1:04:21] referring to, but I think it would just
[1:04:23] be a shadow. If you're if you're getting
[1:04:24] at Venom, then yeah. Who do you think
[1:04:26] he's a hooded person? Pretty sure it's
[1:04:28] going to be Sadie Sync's character.
[1:04:29] Maybe Jean Gray. Could Luke Cage
[1:04:31] possibly appear? Let's get him in in
[1:04:32] Daredevil Born again first.
[1:04:35] Appreciate your donation. Um, if I hear
[1:04:38] Hulk speak coherently, I will be very
[1:04:40] disappointed. I won't rage. Totally with
[1:04:44] you. Totally with you. Just give me
[1:04:46] Savage Hulk.
[1:04:48] David, thank you for your super chat. Is
[1:04:51] it possible that the mirror dimension
[1:04:52] astral projection when Doctor Strange
[1:04:54] makes Peter out of his body resembles
[1:04:56] the Peter Tingle?
[1:04:59] The mirror dimension astral projection.
[1:05:01] Oh, I know what you're talking about.
[1:05:03] Um,
[1:05:04] in I think that was the the aractnum
[1:05:07] frequency, the the Spidey sense that we
[1:05:09] see in No Way Home. And I think that's
[1:05:10] still like something Peter has. Uh, but
[1:05:13] interestingly, like Peter Peter's spidey
[1:05:15] sense didn't stop him from getting hit
[1:05:16] by a van
[1:05:18] by a Punisher. What? Right here. Why
[1:05:21] didn't Peter see it coming? Did he want
[1:05:23] the van to hit him is kind of my
[1:05:25] question. Um, yeah. So, I think there's
[1:05:28] gonna be just certain things where
[1:05:29] Peter's powers are just kind of out of
[1:05:31] whack.
[1:05:34] Okay.
[1:05:36] A big Tito band unrelated to Spider-Man.
[1:05:39] Could Thor holding Deadpool crying
[1:05:40] actually be Thor holding Loki?
[1:05:43] Um, sure. Well, I think it was based off
[1:05:46] of the scene of Thor the Dark World
[1:05:47] where he was holding Loki. Um, I just
[1:05:50] don't know why it had to be Deadpool in
[1:05:52] there. Maybe making a sacrifice play to
[1:05:54] protect Loki in Secret Wars. I I don't
[1:05:56] know if we'll ever get an answer to that
[1:05:58] question. That was like a a Ryan
[1:06:00] Reynolds, Shawn Levy, Zeb Wells question
[1:06:02] introduced in Spider-Man or or a
[1:06:05] Deadpool Wolverine that I don't know if
[1:06:06] the Russo brothers even know is out
[1:06:08] there. Yeah, a lot of people think Aman
[1:06:11] Fondi could be Harry Osborne. I like
[1:06:12] that theory a lot. A long shot. Do we
[1:06:15] think it's possible Talman plays some
[1:06:17] form of Jefferson Davis or do we think
[1:06:18] he's still he's Norman? I don't think
[1:06:20] he's either. I think there's some
[1:06:22] theories out there that he's William
[1:06:23] Meter, an anti-mutant figure from X-Men
[1:06:26] comics. I think he could be like a
[1:06:27] Striker figure or someone like that.
[1:06:31] Um, yeah, it's a good point. We are four
[1:06:33] years after the events of No Way Home.
[1:06:35] They could be in a graduate program
[1:06:36] after MIT. Maybe they're now in a
[1:06:38] graduate program at at Empire State
[1:06:40] after getting their undergrad at MIT.
[1:06:45] Peter needing the symbiote suit by the
[1:06:47] end.
[1:06:48] um
[1:06:51] or the stable feeling of being powerful.
[1:06:52] He also helps the theme of being alone.
[1:06:54] Yeah, I think it's possible that we see
[1:06:56] Peter in a symbiote suit at some point
[1:06:58] in the MCU. I just think that's a Secret
[1:06:59] Wars thing as opposed to something we'll
[1:07:01] see in this movie.
[1:07:03] Um Secret Wars, we're still like 18
[1:07:05] months away from that and we got to get
[1:07:07] through this movie. We got to get
[1:07:08] through Doomsday. We got to get through
[1:07:10] some announcements for that movie and
[1:07:12] we'll know more very soon. Last question
[1:07:14] I'm going to answer. Um, Banner is a
[1:07:17] professor at MIT. That's how Peter goes.
[1:07:19] Answering the question of like, why is
[1:07:20] Peter at this party? I think Banner is a
[1:07:22] professor at Empire State University.
[1:07:24] You see Peter wearing a hoodie that says
[1:07:26] ESU for Empire State University. And all
[1:07:29] these people are wearing similar kind of
[1:07:30] green coated uh stuff. Um,
[1:07:35] now we don't know if Peter is an actual
[1:07:37] student there, if he just stole his
[1:07:39] hoodie. Uh, I think he is a student
[1:07:41] there. Um, and maybe Ned and MJ are like
[1:07:44] grad students at ESU now at this point.
[1:07:46] All right, guys. I gotta get to writing
[1:07:48] this breakdown. I have a full full day
[1:07:50] ahead of me. This has been awesome. Just
[1:07:53] awesome to hang out with you guys and to
[1:07:55] do this live stream. I again, I really

[1:08:07] for the channel for everybody who wasn't
[1:08:08] able to join us for the stream. I don't
[1:08:10] know if all the questions because we
[1:08:11] went for like I don't know an hour and a
[1:08:15] half, an hour. Uh so yeah, but
[1:08:19] seriously, tomorrow's video will be the
[1:08:22] Easter egg breakdown. Publishing later
[1:08:24] today is going to be Jessica's breakdown
[1:08:25] of the first three episodes of

[1:08:29] going real hard. You're going to love
[1:08:30] that video. Um and then yeah, tomorrow

[1:08:34] egg breakdown of like every clue you
