[00:00] my faceless channel for example Got a

[00:01] $115,000 Brand deal that to me like blew

[00:05] my mind because I was like this is where

[00:07] the real money's at and I'm like I

[00:09] already knew that because just looking

[00:10] at think media like we work with Brands

[00:12] all the time like I know that there is

[00:14] money to be made for brand deals we work

[00:16] with creators and I see they're making a

[00:19] lot of money with brand deals how could

[00:20] someone go about maybe getting their

[00:22] first brand deal how much to charge and

[00:25] uh because I think like brand deals is

[00:28] massive and it and it could be pretty

[00:31] simple if you just make it simple right

[00:33] no I definitely when it comes to Brand

[00:36] deals you know we do the brand deals on

[00:37] think media and at first I think a

[00:40] low-level idea of a brand deal is I

[00:43] promote your stuff and therefore you

[00:44] sell more right yeah but getting to talk

[00:47] with a friend who's like an expert in

[00:48] brand deals he was like no there are so

[00:51] many brands that would just want to

[00:52] connect with a Creator they just want

[00:54] their their brand to be associated with

[00:57] this likeness of a human being so I

[00:59] think I think that actually opens up

[01:00] more opportunity for doing some research

[01:03] and finding even brands that would

[01:06] probably appreciate wanting to have some

[01:08] Association because the reality is you

[01:10] know these brands have marketing budgets

[01:11] or they have they they got to spend this

[01:13] money and so the problem isn't a lot of

[01:16] the times uh that they they can't spend

[01:18] it the problem is they can't find the

[01:20] people and so you know positioning

[01:22] yourself like and this really comes to

[01:24] just being you that you know when when

[01:26] you're truly transparent and people you

[01:28] can feel that vibe it's going to be you

[01:31] know I think it's going to be easy I was

[01:32] talking with shelene Johnson on my last

[01:34] podcast and we were talking about

[01:36] building your personal brand in your 2.0

[01:38] era like this is like after you've

[01:39] parented after you've done your career

[01:42] there's such a wide open space for

[01:44] people who are 40 50 60 to start posting

[01:47] videos online because they have so much

[01:49] to offer yeah and they can literally

[01:51] just turn on cameras and like you can

[01:53] literally talk about how you've been

[01:54] married for 30 years and who knows like

[01:57] you know e-harmony is looking for 45 50

[02:01] year olds to talk about this stuff and

[02:03] so I think I think there's just the

[02:05] opportunity to know that doing brand

[02:07] deals doesn't necessarily have to be a

[02:09] direct to like sale thing but it could

[02:11] totally be finding brands that you want

[02:13] to actually build with and they'll work

[02:15] with you over the Long Haul I found this

[02:17] guy on YouTube Dry Creek Wrangler School

[02:20] pulling in major views that's major

[02:23] views and he's just like grandpa sitting

[02:26] on his Ranch smoking tobacco out of a

[02:29] pipe sitting in chair and he's talking

[02:31] about life experiences pulling in a ton

[02:33] of views now I guess I'm what I'm saying

[02:36] is like there is a place for people on

[02:38] YouTube and what I think is like he

[02:41] attracts a certain audience right his

[02:42] videos attract a certain audience his

[02:44] Vibe his Aura attracts a certain

[02:46] audience I think one major tip that

[02:48] people can do on YouTube to make more

[02:51] money with brandals even if you're not

[02:52] getting a ton of views is simply to go

[02:56] very targeted Niche audience yep because

[02:59] I have my buddy Alejandro doing

[03:01] carnivore and he's on his YouTube

[03:03] channel now documenting he's not a

[03:05] carnivore export but he's documenting

[03:07] his journey doing carnivore and he's

[03:10] going to start getting like crazy brand

[03:11] deals because I say he's gonna start

[03:12] getting free meat he's GNA get free he's

[03:15] got meat sent to his door jerky you know

[03:18] sponsors but like having a very targeted

[03:21] audience and that comes from very

[03:22] targeted content uh just going in all on

[03:25] your passion can like that people want

[03:28] to get in front of the influencers that

[03:30] don't have a lot of you know subscribers

[03:32] and and yes YouTube requires so many

[03:35] skills other than making videos it's

[03:38] it's the skill of communication it's the

[03:40] skill of you know just being able to

[03:42] relate to the camera it's the skill of a

[03:44] personal you know relationships you just

[03:47] you said you got a brand deal on your

[03:48] faceless channel that that back and

[03:50] forth with that brand took some business

[03:52] Acumen you understanding what your

[03:55] Channel's value has and what that value

[03:57] that they can bring by you sharing their

[03:59] product and Stu yeah one thing that I

[04:01] wish maybe I did earlier and something I

[04:04] would tell the the person watching this

[04:05] right now is even if you're if you feel

[04:09] like you're not ready to sell something

[04:12] one of the best things you can do for

[04:14] yourself is to just post YouTube videos

[04:17] because through posting YouTube videos

[04:19] you're going to grow an audience you're

[04:20] going to get better at creating you're

[04:22] going to get better at speaking you're

[04:23] going to get more data from what your

[04:25] audience wants you're going to learn so

[04:27] much like you talked about the comments

[04:29] on your podcast people are keep asking

[04:31] me this question and so I think there's

[04:33] like so many benefits even if you're not

[04:36] making money right away to just posting

[04:39] YouTube videos like to just get started

[04:41] there's so much that can be built

[04:42] through your character there's so much

[04:43] that can be built on even learning

[04:45] marketing and like how to title and

[04:47] position I've learned so much stuff that

[04:51] I didn't think I would learn just by

[04:53] creating content and now I feel like I

[04:56] have skill sets to earn money right what

[04:59] I hope people get from listening to this

[05:01] is there's so many options for you to

[05:03] get started you know physical products

[05:05] digital products partnering with Brands

[05:07] affiliate marketing doing your own your

[05:09] own business like there's a lot of

[05:11] opportunity I just want you to know it's

[05:13] possible I hope from these conversations

[05:15] that me and Nolan have that you just

[05:16] feel empowered to know that there's room

[05:19] for you and there's even money for you

[05:21] and so that you can you know provide for

[05:23] your family and you know uh live with

[05:26] purpose and be generous love it amazing

[05:28] well guys I really think you should

[05:29] check out Omar and I's uh podcast where

[05:31] we talked about how to grow a YouTube

[05:33] channel this year so click on the screen
