7:50[00:00] Expectations of content creators today are higher
[00:06] up consistently be on multiple platforms engage
[00:12] and it's no surprise that as these expectations
[00:17] possibility of experiencing burnout. Today, I want
[00:22] while also sharing some strategies to help you
[00:28] your social media platforms. If you're new here.
[00:32] New York City. And I use this channel to help you
[00:37] earn sustainable income from content creation.
[00:42] subscribing if you've been watching my videos
[00:47] content in 2012. And while I always treated
[00:52] creative outlet for about nine years until April
[00:59] content creation full time and I've experienced
[01:04] it was just when I was creating content a couple
[01:10] it is my full-time job when this was something
[01:14] generally came from over committing and taking on
[01:21] content creation side hustle. And now that I am
[01:26] feelings can stem from the pressure that I feel
[01:33] over something that simply brings me joy. And I
[01:38] you are monetizing your content or not. But it's
[01:44] full-time and 100% of my income comes from content
[01:50] things that I have to think about now and things
[01:55] been as big of a concern to me when this was just
[01:59] context to let you know that I've experienced it
[02:05] either of them. I do have some tips for you about
[02:11] you move past burnout that we're gonna get to
[02:15] to first start with what to do as soon as you
[02:21] number one to dealing with this burnout is
[02:25] maybe you took on one too many brand deals and you
[02:30] capacity with your nine to five job and can't
[02:35] promised your audience. I think that one part of
[02:40] the general feeling of disappointment, whether you
[02:46] your audience down and you're thinking, I should
[02:51] hard, I sit down and film a video like I should be
[02:57] repeat that story to yourself in your head. I feel
[03:02] not doing enough, you're not good enough. And that
[03:07] I think that actually acknowledging your feelings
[03:14] over the years now. And I would rather acknowledge
[03:19] with it in the moment. Whatever those feelings
[03:25] it's not happening. I know it might sound a little
[03:30] even if it's to no one even if you pause this
[03:35] room to no one that "I am feeling burned out"
[03:41] to say that you're in a place and also remember
[03:46] that way in the future. And as a follow up to
[03:52] to take a break and if you try to push back
[03:57] you I used to be the person who would not take
[04:02] didn't serve me in any way and before you start
[04:07] can't take a break for this reason this person
[04:10] I totally relate. I've been there before, but if
[04:16] Take however long of a rest period you need and
[04:23] your social media platforms. If you find yourself
[04:29] were supposed to have sponsored posts, go live,
[04:34] possibly can give them a heads up and ask for
[04:39] It might not feel great to do in the moment, but
[04:45] and being stressed about getting things done when
[04:50] would say that unless you're planning to take
[04:54] notifying your audience. I feel like whenever
[05:00] was sorry, I was MIA. I'm always like, Oh,
[05:05] I know that you didn't post for two weeks, you
[05:10] we need to start normalizing them as an industry
[05:15] and make this a sustainable long term career for
[05:21] explanation whether this is your full time job
[05:27] off after you've acknowledged your burnout
[05:32] you're nearing the end of your break, and you feel
[05:36] the next thing that I would recommend doing is
[05:41] a seamless, easy process for you. So in order to
[05:47] that they can be, I have a few questions that I
[05:52] is my current posting schedule realistic?
[05:58] in particular that is causing stress? And is
[06:03] that I would ask do I have a good workflow
[06:08] productive and excited to create content? Do
[06:13] to outsource things in my life that are
[06:18] I want to point out these could be work related
[06:24] work life that you might consider outsourcing
[06:28] your inbox or a video editor to save you the time
[06:34] and maybe some things in your life that you can
[06:38] meaning maybe you're ordering your groceries
[06:43] Or maybe you're hiring a housekeeper or maid to
[06:49] you simply don't feel like you have the time to do
[06:54] a monetary cost, sometimes just getting that one
[07:00] And the other thing about outsourcing is pretty
[07:05] you can hire a video editor for a test
[07:10] style. Or you can do one order of groceries
[07:15] you can find something else that works. So think
[07:20] going on in your life, but also the systems that
[07:25] sure that you have a workflow that makes sense
[07:30] produce more content than you are physically able
[07:35] to batch create content. And if you'd like
[07:40] I have a whole video about that that I will leave
[07:44] you'd like to watch it later after this video.
[07:50] that you have in place, the next step I recommend
[07:55] not a big planner, I'll try to simplify this
[08:00] the top of a new week or month or a year whatever
[08:05] identify what are the top three things that
[08:11] my business forward. This system of prioritizing
[08:17] every day in my business. If you'd like access
[08:22] you can access those in my Patreon membership,
[08:27] what your goals are and what your capacity is, you

[08:37] I highly recommend going into your calendar right
[08:43] holidays or days that you know you're going to
[08:47] implementing in my business is giving myself
[08:53] creators. Often we are sharing our life nonstop,
[08:59] really a vacation. It's a trip maybe we're sharing
[09:05] I think it's really important to schedule that
[09:10] who will? Not only that, but it is so important
[09:16] feel like in the really rapid landscape of social
[09:21] to celebrate the things that we are doing every
[09:27] your creator business in the last month and pick
[09:33] it could be a small milestone, like adding 5 new
[09:38] be a huge milestone like hitting 100,000 YouTube
[09:44] along the way to continue that positive motivation
[09:49] the story you believe so if you do choose to focus
[09:55] just snowball into more good affirmations
