YouTube's Shorts Roundup highlights recent creator updates: multi-language thumbnails, thumbnail size limit expansion, Channel Guidelines, and Effect Maker enhancements including pre-live effects preview.
Creators can now upload thumbnails in multiple languages; viewers see the version matching their language setting. Add them via YouTube Studio on desktop under the video's Languages tab.
The thumbnail upload limit has increased from 2MB to 50MB, helping thumbnails look better on large screens like connected TVs.
Creators can set specific conversation rules for comments, live chats, and Community. Setup: YouTube Studio > Channel Settings > Community Moderation > Channel Guidelines.
